It's been three days since the fight was shown to the world, and Ashley has been in a coma ever since. Her mechanical heart had been destroyed during the battle, but luckily she made one beforehand and used the echo transport system to replace it and burn the wound. Unfortunately, doing it damages her system to the point that she only has a day to replace the new heart. But luckily, again, the Auto doc can double as a life support system and lets her stay in a coma until they make a new heart or a week has passed. Whichever comes first. For now, all anyone can do is wait for Dr. Polendina to finish creating the heart. By this time, Zef had spent all his free time training, wishing things would have been different. He groaned as he swung a staff that was covered in heavy weights. Meanwhile, Blue stayed outside, where Ashley was being held as she tried to recover. After a while, Ironwood came up to Blue and checked on him.

"Mister Spletzer... Are you doing okay? I don't think anyone has seen you move from that spot." Ironwood said while worried about Blue as he sat beside him.

"Hmmm? Oh hey, General." He said while sounding down and looking away from him. "I'm fine. I'm just waiting for Ashley to get out."

"Blue. As much as she would like you to support her after an attack like that. It would be best if you rested as well. Let's clean up and get you something to eat. There's a diner not far from here that I think you will enjoy." Ironwood said while smiling softly as he gently picked Blue up, who was too tired to put up a fight before walking off. "Trust me. Nothing bad will happen while we're gone."

-Meanwhile, out in the Grimlands.-

Inside the Grimland, there was a tower, and inside the building was the Grimm queen herself, Salem watching the fight between Team GRTD and Zef, Blue, Ashley, and Holo. As she watched the battle, she couldn't help but only focus on the conflict between Ashley and the fusion. She stared at it in wonder before getting an idea to add to her forces. She smiled as she willed a Seer to her.

"Watts... that video you sent me, how long ago was it?" Salem asked him once the Seer showed Watts' face.

"About a week, your grace. I've shown you this because not only did those four appear out of nowhere. They manage to beat a third-year team without any aura." Watts said to her while looking at his tablet. "I've only found little about them. But what I have found is interesting." With that, he showed the video to her from the Seer of Ashley, Blue, and Zef falling through a portal. As Salem watched the video, she focused on the portal more than anything else.

"Watts. When was this recorded?" Salem asked him.

"Over a month ago. I would have brought it sooner to your attention, but I just recently got a hold of it not too long ago." He said as she turned to look out the window with a hand on her chin.

"Hmmm, so three people appear around the same time. I felt the energy and the world shifting. Not only that, but the little rabbit can survive having her heart destroyed." She said while thinking. "Watts, get me the information on where team GRTD is being sent; once you do, send it to Hazle. We won't be able to get any info from the newcomers, but I believe one of their semblances will be helpful."

"As you wish, my lady," Watts said before the Seer turned off and floated away as she got up.

-Meanwhile, in a Diner in Altus.-

Zef, Blue, Ironwood, and Winter were sitting down in a booth after they managed to drag Zef away from his training for a bit to get something to eat. Luckily for them, no one decided to mess with Blue, as Ironwood and Winter were there.

"How is she?" Winter asked, making everyone stop as the question hung in the air; before she turned to Ironwood, he sighed.

"She is in critical condition. She manages to survive a stab to the heart while also spending the day building another heart before forcing herself to rest in the Auto doc." He explains while looking down. "It's been three days, but Dr. Polendina said he will finish the heart later tonight, so expect her to wake up in the morning," James said as Blue and Zef perked up after hearing that Ashley would be fine.

"Really? So that means..." Blue said with a smile as James spoke up before he could finish.

"Yes, she will be back to normal soon."

"Good. I need a training partner, and seeing Blue this sad might bring Altus down." Zef said as he chuckled while Blue pouted.

"I'm not being sad! I'm just worried about Ashley. There's a difference."

"I didn't know you looked pretty sad when I came in." A new drunken voice said as he turned from a bar stool to reveal himself. He had black spikey hair and faded red eyes, along with some stubble on his jaw. He wears a gray dress shirt that has a long tail, black dress pants with matching shoes, three rings on his right hand, and a pendant that has a crooked cross on it, but most unusual of all is a red and tattered cloak.

"Qrow. What are you doing here?" James asked as Winter slowly moved her hand down to her sword.

"I could ask you the same thing with Ice Queen here." He said before turning to look at Zef and then Blue, only to stop on him as he stared at him. "What the? What's wrong with him?"

"What? Have you ever seen an Inkling before?" Blue asked him while annoyed as he pouted.

"No, I honestly can say I've never seen one before," Qrow said before looking at his flask. "I think I drank enough for today."

"Hmmm, I believe that's a first," Winter said with a soft grin as Qrow shook his head.

"Look, Jimmy, I need to talk to you privately," Qrow said as he went outside with Ironwood.

"Qrow, what is so important that you must talk to me here and now?" Ironwood asked him as, through a window, Zef and Blue were talking to Winter.

"You remember that energy Oz felt? Well, he felt more of them." Qrow said before waiting for Ironwood to confirm it. "They are weaker, but they're causing changes to the world."

"What do you mean?" Ironwood asked as Blue turned into his squid form, surprising Winter while Zef looked to explain something to her.

"Well, I managed to capture this in an evacuated town near here." Qrow pulled out his phone and showed Ironwood a video of an abandoned town, only for a portal to open up and a giant ball to crush it as it slowly opened up like an armadillo leaving a beast with two massive arms with a rope-like tongue, a flat face, no legs, and a burning red liquid pouring from its mouth. It looked up and sniffed at the air before curling back into a ball and rolling away.

"What the hell was that?" Ironwood said as he stared at the screen.

"Don't know. All we know is that it isn't a Grimm, but it isn't natural. Luckily for us, it's staying away from people in settlements. Unfortunately, it seems it likes the taste of Grimm and tried to eat me on the way here." Qrow said while sighing

"I see. I'll send some Ak-130 to see what it can do before deciding what to do." Ironwood sighed as a little girl grabbed Blue thinking he was a plushie. Zef tried to get him back while Winter talked to the parents.

"Yeah. Ozpin will be here in a week to talk to you about it. He wanted to ask you, but you wouldn't answer your scroll." Qrow said before looking into the diner. "Where did that squid plushie come from?" Qrow asked, noticing Blue in his squid form.

"Squid plushie?" Ironwood asked before turning around and seeing the confirmation before entering the building. "Mr. Spletzer!"

-After a while, in a lab in Altus.-

Ashley slowly woke once the heart was in and the wound was stitched up. Around her were Zef, Blue, Ironwood, Winter, and Qrow, while Holo floated above her. As she slowly sat up, she noticed that she was dressed up in a hospital gown, keeping her modest, and Dr. Polendina was walking into the room.

"So... what did I miss?" Ashley asked as everyone but Holo, Blue, and Zef stared at her in disbelief,

"I was confused for a plushie and was nearly kidnapped because a six-year-old girl thought I looked cute," Blue said before Ashley laughed at the idea while Blue pouted. "Hey! It's not that funny!"

"It's a little funny," Ashely said with a smile.

"Miss Rose. Do you remember what happened before you went under?" Dr. Polendina asked Ashley as he ensured there wasn't any problem with the operation.

"Yeah, a little. And a few things before this." Ashley said while letting him make sure she was okay. "Like a bar, something about a drink, some woman named Salem, and... that's it."

"I'm sorry. What was that?" Qrow asked, sounding confused as he looked at his flask.

"I cannot find the memory she is talking about. I believe she is making it up to mess with us." Holo said as Qrow and Ashley looked up at her.

"What! I'm not. I can't remember it clearly. You just aren't looking hard enough." Ashley said now, this time pouting at everyone.

"Well, you manage to recover quickly. I don't know anyone who could get up from a stab like that." Dr. Polendina said as Ashley tried to get out of Auto Doc. "Miss Rose, stay seated, please."

"What? I'm fine. I can get up and walk around now." Ashley said as Qrow and Dr. Polendina tried to keep her from getting off the machine. "Let me go already!"

"That may be, but you still need to rest," Ironwood said while sighing as Ashley lay back down while pouting.

"Fine, but I'm going to get up in the morning," Ashley said while sighing. "Now, was there anything else I missed?"

"There have been new portals opening up, causing things to come to this world," Holo said while sighing softly.

"Miss Holo, that's classified information," Winter said as they stared at the AI in shock.

"Miss Schnee. We came from a portal like the monster, so it would be beneficial if we were informed so that we may help." Holo said as she walked over to the TV before turning it on and showing the video Qrow showed Ironwood.

"How did you get that?" Qrow asked the hologram.

"I am a part of any technology, Mr. Branwen," Holo told him.

"Don't call me Mr. Branwen. It makes me feel old."

"She can call you anything you want to watch. Holo calls him Big Bird from now on." Ashley said as Winter started to giggle at the name.

"Understood; I will now call him Big Bird."

"Big Bird!"

"Hey, it was either that or something else dumb like Dope ass swag prince," Ashley said while giggling as she stared at Qrow's dumbfounded face.

"That is even worse! Just call me Qrow."

"Understood; I will now call you Qrow."

"Awww, but I like Big Bird," Ashley said while Ironwood and Winter nodded. "So anyway, about this monster, what's its weakness?"

"Miss Rose, you need to rest. You aren't going to help us with you." Ironwood said while annoyed.

"Come on, what makes you think you can stop me from helping?" Ashley said with a smile as she sat up

"Zef, Blue, keep her here no matter what," Ironwood said while the two nodded.

"Awww, well, I wanted this to be fair, but oh well," Ashley said before her wrist opened up and her hand fell before two cylinders popped out as her hat/mask appeared. With a smile, the first one went off, exploding in a flash of light before she jumped out and ran out of the room before the second went off, pouring smoke out. She smiled as she ran while everyone tried to open a window or get out. Once the smoke cleared, all they noticed on the note on the bed was a chibi of Ashley giving them a blown kiss while saying: "Good luck~." Meanwhile, as Ashley ran, she noticed she was still in Altus academic making her smile as her clothes appeared in a flash of cyan square lights All the while she was smiling and laughing as she managed to get into her workshop before locking the door. "Hehe, too easy. Holo, we're you able to get the healing serum made?" Ashley asked her while sighing.

"Yes, but unfortunately, I could not give it to you after the surgery. You were waking up as soon as the last string was cut." Holo said as Ashley got the serum in her hand, and the syringe appeared out of cyan square lights and a regular kitchen knife.

"Oh, I see," Ashley said as she used the knife to cut the string off her wound before pulling the belt off and biting down on it. After taking a deep breath, she stabbed the syringe next to her injury before pressing down on the plunger, pushing the liquid; before long, she started to yell from the pain before grabbing onto the wooden table, hoping to keep herself up, she felt her robotic arm shake before she heard a crack and turn to see her flesh hand break the table and tore a chunk off of it making her fall to the ground and make minor cuts appear on her hand after a while it slowly ended. All the wounds soon closed, letting her drop the belt from her mouth and get up with shaky legs. "Dammit, that hurt."

"Do I need Zef to return you to the nurse's office? You are in a lot of pain." Holo said as Ashley got up and shook her head.

"No, I'm fine. I need a minute. I don't know what is worse: the fact that I remember the pain or that I knew I should have used it while knocked out." Ashley said while groaning.

"What about the fact that I'm in here with you, and I saw everything?" Zef said as Ashely froze up while turning pale before slowly turning to him.

"O-oh! H-hey Zef, what are you doing here?" Ashley asked him while slowly backing up.

"Don't play games. Now what was that?" Zef asked as he slowly walked to her while directing her to a wall and trapping her.

"Ummm, a healing serum. Nothing else. If you don't believe me, look." Ashley said as she showed him a scar where the injury would have been.

"Hmmm, so why didn't you tell us about this," Zef asked as he stopped once he was close enough to grab her.

"Wait, didn't Holo tell you all?"

"I was unfortunately unable to due to Blue shutting down for a bit, Dr. Polendina was busy working on you, and Ironwood was busy with the army," Holo said. At the same time, Ashley looked at her, annoyed.

"Seriously, you couldn't have told them anyway?" Ashley said while sounding annoyed. Before anything was said, Zef punched her head and knocked her down.

"We both know that this is how it had to happen," Zef said with a sigh.

"I wouldn't blame yourself; I gave you the order, didn't I?" Holo asked Zef

"How did she get her clothes on so fast?"

"It was because I used the echo net. Now why did you betray me, Holo!" Ashley said as she sat up; a clear red bump appeared under her hat. It took her a few seconds before she realized what she had done. "Ummm, I mean..." She said before falling back down and pretending she was knocked out again to try and avoid Zef's punishment. Unfortunately for her, he picked her up by the hood of her coat and started taking her back to the nurse's office. "Ummm, mercy?"

"Ummm, no," Zef said to her bluntly.

Omake: Canon, Dreams.

In a log cabin on the island of Patch, a red-headed girl slept through the night. As she sleeps, she dreams of killing Grimm as a huntress and a hero, but as morning comes, the dream slowly changes to her being saved.

"Ruby, it's time to get up; come on, we got to get ready for school," Yang said while pouting as she pulled on her sister's blanket. Ruby tried her best to stay under the covers.

"Yang, let me sleep for a bit longer," Ruby said to her sister while pouting, only to fall out of bed once Yang pulled a little too hard on her blanket. "Owie."

After apologizing to her sister and Ruby forgiving her, they sat down at the kitchen table as their father, Tai, walked in.

"Good morning, girls; how did you two sleep?" Tai asked with a smile.

"I slept pretty well, but I slept on my arm a bit funny," Yang said while smiling as Ruby wasn't paying attention. "Ruby? You okay?"

"Hmmm, oh yeah, sorry. I slept fine as well." Ruby said with a smile as Yang and Tai stared at her.

"What's wrong, Rubes? Did you have a bad dream? Or were you dreaming about a boy?" Yang asked with a smile as Tai scoffed at the idea of Ruby having a crush on someone.

"I mean kind of," Ruby said as her sister and father froze as she turned to her.

"Rubes, you don't mind telling me about the dream, do you?" Yang asked, hiding her rage from Ruby as she planned on hunting the boy.

"I mean, the dream was normal. I went out on a mission and was killing Grimm, but slowly they were getting stronger." Ruby said as they got worried that it was a nightmare. "But my bullets slowly turned red ink, and my hair became tentacles. I got freaked out and tried to run away, only to fall into an ink puddle and sink in, only for a boy with similar Blue tentacles to grab me and pull me out before using this cool demon sword and cutting each of their heads off quickly while leaving pools of blue ink."

"... Umm, Rubes? Are you okay? That seems like a weird dream." Yang said while sounding confused.

"I mean, yeah, but I felt like I've seen him before," Ruby said while pouting.

"Yeah, I'm getting that feeling as well," Tai said while scratching his head.

"Maybe you are thinking about Blue Spletzer. He was shown fighting a third-year team not that long ago. You would have seen him on TV just a few days ago." Said a new voice coming from Tai's phone. Everyone quickly turned around to look at it before noticing a small holographic rabbit faunes standing in front of them.

"What the? Who are you, and what are you doing on my phone?" Tai asked while sounding both surprised and annoyed.

"Hello, I am Holo, a smart AI made by Ashley Rose," Holo said as she turned to Tai. "I can not appear anywhere else in this house due to the limitations of the tech in your home."

"Why my house?" Tai asked her while sighing.

"I got curious after meeting Qrow, and I haven't fully explored this world," Holo said as she turned to look at Ruby and Yang.

"Wait, you met our uncle?" the two asked simultaneously.

"Yes, I met him. He came to Ironwood about some classified information." Holo said with a smile.

"Let me guess; it's about some girl's skirt," Yang asked as more of a joke before Holo shook her head.

"No, this is about a new type of Grimm near Altus."

"Wait, what!" Everyone asked while sounding surprised.

"It is hazardous, and Ashley tried to help only to be forced to stay in bed and rest," Holo said while sighing.

"This is a bit too much to take in," Yang said while groaning before Tai looked at the clock.

"Never mind that we need to go; we're going to be late," Tai said as they started to panic as they forgot their food to rush and get ready.

"I see. Have a good day, and see you two at Beacon." Holo said before disappearing. Meanwhile, Ruby couldn't get the boy out of her head.

"Wait, what was that about meeting us at Beacon?"
