Welcome back, you lovely degenerates. Sorry, this came out after Christmas. I planned on mixing a special with the reaction, but some problems arose. It's been six weeks since the mission that the Reds and Blues went on. Since then, Caboose has been injured critically and had to be hospitalized. Ashley blamed herself for what happened to him. She used all the money she earned to help Caboose recover, and lucky he did, but not without some permanent injury. In an attempt to make more money to help Caboose's recovery, Ashley went to Mistral to win the tournament and win the prize. Currently, she has beaten everyone but last year's champion and is sitting in the locker room thinking of a plan of attack.
"Are you sure you want me to transfer to Zef for this fight? You usually need my help switching weapons, and not only that, this Pyrrha seems to be untouchable." Holo asked Ashley and, for once, questioned her method.
"Hey, I told you to do it at the start. And secondly, I can handle her. After all, I figured out how she became untouchable in the first place." Ashley smiled as she picked up her frying pan and shotgun revolver. "Now, the only problem I have is how to combat it. It's not like I can go into the fight without using my weapons and arm. That shield will get in the way, and her sword can cut my leg off if I'm not careful. Then I'll win due to making it look like she went too far."
"And you would have to make a new leg as well."
"Yes, that too... hey Holo, how are the Twins and Stretch doing? Are they done yet?" Ashley asked with a smile as she put her weapons in her coat.
"All done before the tournament started." As Holo said, she made two gray gauntlets appear on her wrists. Both of them have a large barrel on the top of them, along with a disk design that makes it look like a small shield. But under the right one, there was a dial under it.
"Did you make sure it was dust-free?" Ashley asked her as a sheath sword appeared on her hip.
"Of course. We both know your plan for the future. But for now, I'll wait with Blue and Zef." With that being said, Ashley started to walk onto the stage and saw that it looked like someone had pulled a part of a cliff off it and dropped it in the center of the arena.
"Damm, this looks pretty bland. Shouldn't they do something else for the final stage? At least make the ring small." Ashley said under her breath as she stared down her opponent. She had red hair that was tied in a waist-length ponytail and emerald green eyes, along with light green eyeshadow. She has a brown overbust corset with a vertical strip of more golden brown in the center, black opera-length gloves, and a black mini-skirt with a red sash wrapped around her waist that went down to her ankles. On her waist were a few brown bags on her left hip, while a bronze plate was on her right hip. The plate had her emblem, just a spear cutting a circle in half. She wore a golden brown circlet with tiny teardrop emeralds on a chain, a thick bronze necklace, and a bronze bracelet on her left arm near her shoulder.
"WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE FINAL ROUND OF THE MISTRAL REGIONAL TOURNAMENT! I'M MISTER TORGUE, AND ARE YOU F*CKING READY? WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T F*UCKING CURSE? THIS IS HOW WE DO IT IN VACUO! I'M EVEN CENSORING MYSELF! FINE WHATEVER! THIS YEAR, WE HAVE THE INVINCIBLE GIRL HERSELF, THE ONE THAT MANAGED NOT EVEN TO GET HIT ONCE: PYRRHA NIKOS!" Pyrrha gave her public smile and waved to everyone.
"Oh well, then this should be fun. I never fought someone with abilities like yours before... at least, I think so... Hey! Athena!" Ashley yelled while smiling as she gestured to Pyrrha.
"I'm sorry?"
"Yeah, you, you better be as good as they say. I don't want this to be an easy win."
"I wouldn't worry about that. You know what they say... pride before downfall."
"Won't be a downfall if I can back it up."
"AND NOW WE HAVE... WAIT WHAT? WHAT IS A SQUID DOING HERE? WHY IS IT BLUE? WHO THE HELL OWNS A SQUID!" Blue managed to somehow sneak into the announcement box and handed Mister Torgue a note. "OKAY, I DON'T KNOW WHOSE SQUID THIS IS, BUT THIS THING JUST HANDED ME A NOTE, SO I'M GOING TO READ IT OUT LOUD FOR YOU ALL. NOW YOU ALL GET READY FOR THE WILD CHILD, THE QUEEN OF THE ROBOTIC, THAT GIRL WHO WOULD MAKE YOU HURL, THE MECHROMANCER HERSELF! ASHLEY ROSEWOOD!"
"What the? Hey! Don't look at me. I didn't tell Blue to give him that note." Ashley said as she held her hands up in protest while Pyrrha gave her a deadpan stare. "Besides, I prefer Bunny Queen over Mechromancer. It sounds better."
"WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO! SOMEONE GET THAT SQUID BACK HERE SO IT CAN APOLOGIZE! ANYWAYS! LET'S GET THIS FIGHT STARTED! ARE BOTH FIGHTERS READY?" Mister Torgue yelled and waited for both fighters to confirm. Once they both nodded, a horn told them to start fighting. With one fluid motion, Ashley drew a red Katana out from her sheath just as Pyrrha pulled her weapons from her back and charged at her. Ashley pulled her mask down from her hat before Pyrrha could reach her. Just as Pyrrha reached Ashley, she thrust her spear, hoping to distract her while she jumped up to knee her in the face, but to her surprise, one of the gauntlets glowed a nuclear blue before a Hard light shield popped up and blocked both of her attacks.
"Hmmm, I guess the auto-defense works. I didn't think it would grow that big," Ashley muttered to herself as she messed with the dial under it before changing the wall to a shield the same size as Pyrrha's. "You got to do better than that to hit me."
Ashley stood still, waiting for Pyrrha to charge at her again; all the while, Blue just sat down next to Zef with a slight smile before the two started to talk to each other as Mister Torgue yelled out what had just happened.
"Blue, what did you give the announcer the note?" Zef asked while sounding tired.
"She didn't like the nickname you gave her, Blue," Holo said, knowing no one other than the two boys could hear or even see her.
"What? I heard that Pyrrha got one, so why couldn't Ashley? and besides, the pubic likes to call her that anyways." Blue said with a smile before looking back at the stage. "So you think she got a chance?" Blue asked Zef, only to be interrupted by a pale ginger-haired girl. She wore a sleeveless black vest with a blue front section along with red accents and a pink hammer that had a cartoon lighting bolt on it on the back. Under the vest was a white shirt without sleeves with a hole in the shape of a heart on her chest near her shirt collar. She also has detached sleeves on each arm, pink fingerless gloves, a pink skirt, and some white ankle boots that have a pink sole, along with the same pink lighting hammer that was on her back. She also had metal armor wrapped around her waist and the back of her neck, along with a turquoise bow on the back of her skirt. Next to her was a boy who had black hair that was tied into a ponytail with a magenta streak and had magenta-colored eyes. He wore a dark green, long-sleeved tailcoat that was buttoned diagonally, and it was red on the inside; it had black and gold trimmings and pink cuffs. Under the tailcoat was a black long-sleeved shirt. Along with that, he wore tan, white pants with black shoes.
"Are you kidding me? That may have caught her by surprise, but that will be the only time she does that." the ginger said while grinning. All the while, the black-haired man (whom the two thought was a woman.) gently pulled her back so she was sitting in her seat.
"Sorry about that. She gets a little excited easily."
"It's fine. I'm used to it anyway... I'm Zef Hasake, and this is Blue Spletzer." Zef said before pointing at Blue as he waved at them.
"Pleasure to meet you. I'm Lie Ren, and my friend here is Nora Valkyrie."
"Hi! Do you like pancakes? What about explosions? Have you ever tried to ride Grimm into battle?" Nora quickly asked the two.
"Yes, he doesn't like them, especially when Ashley makes them, and I've never seen a real Grimm before," Blue said as Zef covered his mouth and Ren covered Nora's.
"Blue, there is a fight going on. Let's save this till after Ashley wins this."
-A few minutes ago.-

Before Pyrrha could react, Ashley aimed the barrel of her shield at her and started to fire as she ran over to a semi-large rock pillar. Just as she did, Pyrrha began to back away while turning her spear into a lever-action rifle, letting her return fire as she tried to avoid the sniper round. Unfortunately, some did manage to hit her, lowering her Aura by about five percent. As Ashley ran, she used her shield to try and block some of the flaming bullets coming at her, only to notice that the shield started to waver a little, confusing her as she hid behind the column. Ashley shrugged it off as she aimed her robotic arm up and had the hand fire out and reach the top before letting it pull her up to get to the high ground. Once she was at the top, she started to look around, only to notice Pyrrha was missing.
"Where the hell are you?" Ashley asked herself, not realizing Pyrrha was getting ready to throw her shield at her. Before she could react, Ashley was hit from behind, launching her off of the pillar. Quickly thinking, she launched her hand out again and caught it, but instead of letting it pull her back up, she swung from the line back down to the ground, now hidden thanks to a rock wall. With some quick thinking, she used her sword as a makeshift mirror as she tried to see where the shield was, only to lose it. "Damm too close."
Ashley looked over her weapons, hoping to get an idea before smiling. With a quick breath, she started to tune out almost all the noises around her as she slowly walked out into the open.
"Just focus. Know what to look for." Ashley said as she listened for her footsteps, cocking her gun, either of her weapons flowing through the air, anything at all. Before long, her ears twitched before she aimed one of her arms ahead of her and fired before she raised the other arm, causing the shield to form as Pyrrha's shield clashed with it. "Found you!"
Acting quickly, Ashley swung her sword in a downward strike, and to the champion's shock, the sword started to stretch, forcing her to jump back as the tip cut off a few strands of her hair. Not slowing down, Ashley quickly let the strike turn into a spin, making the sword turn into a bladed tornado as the blade kept growing. Pyrrha noticed her shield was caught inside of it, constantly bouncing around. Knowing she couldn't use her semblance without being seen, she backed up and aimed her gun at Ashley's head, hoping to knock her off balance. Without a choice, Ashley stopped spinning before trying to block it with her shield, only for the bullet to pass through the hard light and nearly hit her.
'What the hell? Is there a glitch with the shield?' Ashley thought before she started to charge at Pyrrha with her sword drawn. Pyrrha threw her shield at Ashley again, but this time, Ashley managed to catch it with her robotic arm, spin it around once, and throw it at her. Being close to Ashley and caught off guard by her shield, Pyrrha didn't react quickly enough, and the shield hit her chest, knocking her back. Ashley kept running to her before swinging her sword downward, forcing Pyrrha to block it with her sword. As the champion, she was forced to endure the mecromancer's strikes before noticing a metal clamp on both gauntlets, giving her an idea. With a hard push with the help of her semblance, Pyrrha pushed Ashley away while using her polarity to undo the clamps without her noticing. When Ashley raised her arms and fired both cylinders, she realized what she had done to the gauntlets as the two launched back and hit her in the face as the straps became undone. Disoriented by the hit, Ashley stumbled back as Pyrrha ran up to her before tackling her to the ground. "Damm, I didn't think you were this bold. Do you have a thing for bunny girls, or am I that charming to you? And in front of everyone, this is like the first time we met." Ashley said as Pyrrha sat up and startled her, which made her blush heavy.
"What- I. No, that... that is not what I-" Pyrrha said before Ashley pointed her robotic arm at her, letting a sniper barrel appear from the forearm; she started to fire, doing heavy damage to Pyrrha's aura as she grabbed Ashley's gauntlet to try and block some of the bullets. With a smile, Ashley quickly freed one of her legs and kicked the gauntlet into Pyrrha's face and, at the same time, knocked her off of Ashley.
"Sorry, but maybe after the battle, you can try it again. I do like a person who can kick my ass." Ashley said before getting up quickly, reaching into her coat, pulling out a frying pan, and making everyone who didn't know her stare at her in disbelief since she pulled out a frying pan that looked brand new from some cooking store. "Well, this has been fun, but I want to win that prize. I don't need it since second place has more than enough, but hey, I'm getting a good fight out of this."
"What? You're only doing this for the money?" Phrrya asked, sounding surprised as she stared at her.
"Hey, I fucked up and need to pay the hospital money after one of my inventions broke down after killing a Grimm. The whole reason I came here in the first place." Ashley said as she slowly circled Pyrrha. "Do you know how expensive brain surgery is? Well, like I said, I want to keep this fight up, so will you give up, or will you entertain me some more?"
"You're getting cocky," Pyrrha stated bluntly as she aimed the gauntlet at her getting ready to fire it after finding a button on the palm of her hand near the index finger.
"True— but I'm just here to have fun. I'm not looking to win." Ashely said before she started to charge at Pyrrha, making the champion fire the gauntlet, and to her surprise, Ashley managed to block it with her frying pan. With quick thinking, Pyrrha uses her semblance to turn the dial on the gauntlet to activate the hard light shield. "Come on. Use everything you have! It's no fun if you aren't fighting to the best of your ability." Ashley yelled to her before slashing her with the sword, only for the shield to block it. Turning her sword back into a spear, Pyrrha pushed Ashley back before thrusting her spear forward, hoping to stab her, only for Ashley to quickly move her frying pan down to block the strike. Ashley soon dropped her sword and grabbed the spear's shaft before trying to pull it out of Pyrrha's hand. Still, unfortunately, thanks to her strength and semblance, it became impossible to leave Ashley open as Pyrrha slammed the gauntlet into Ashley's face, forcing her to stumble back before thrusting the spear again, and this time Pyrrha hit her in the side of the head. Ashley quickly grabbed the spear's shaft with her robotic arm and held it in place, surprising Pyrrha. "Okay— I felt that," Ashley said before pulling hard on the spear and hitting her in the side of the head with the frying pan, making Pyrrha let go and take a step back as she held her head, only to realize what she did and quickly jumped back as Ashley swung the spear in a sideways arc. Looking around her surroundings, Pyrrha noticed the red katana Ashley dropped before quickly grabbing it as the champion blocked another stab from Ashley. Ashley realized what Pyrrha had held just as she started to swing it, making it grow with momentum as it launched her back and into a rock. When the silence grew in anticipation, Ashley soon stood up and walked back toward the arena, looking none the worse for wear while panting heavily. To the shock of almost everyone, more so Pyrrha, she got back into her fighting stance, ready to continue the fight. "I didn't hear any bells yet."
"I'm sorry!" Pyrrha yelled out as Ashley stared at her, only to hear a soft chuckle, making her stare at Ashley, now confused instead of worried.
"Please, why are you sorry? You need to kick my ass to win, remember?" Ashley asked before Pyrrha nodded as Ashley made a "come at me." gesture. "Then come on, I'm waiting~." Just as Ashley said, she turned Pyrrha's spear into its rifle mode before opening fire on Pyrrha as she charged at Ashley with a smile. Before she could reach her, Ashley changed the rifle into a sword before blocking a strike from her sword, but unfortunately, it made her slide back a bit. Pyrrha aimed her barrel of the gauntlet at Ashley. In response, she quickly looked around before looking down and noticing Pyrrha's shield. Just as Pyrrha fired, Ashley kicked down on the shield hard, forcing it to go up and block the bullet. Ashley grabbed it by one of the handles before she spun around and threw it at her before running to her, hoping the shield would distract her and blind her for a bit. Unfortunately, Pyrrha used the sword to swat her shield out of the way only to see Ashley charging at her; unable to react, Ashley knocked her to the ground, trying to pin her, only for Pyrrha to use her semblance to undo the clamp before firing it making it launch up her arm and slap into Ashley's hand making her pull it back in from the pain. "Oww! Damn it again?" Ashley only asked just as Pyrrha grabbed her sword and punched Ashley in the face to force her to get off Pyrrha. "That was my nose that time!" Ashley yelled as she covered her face and backed up. At the same time, Pyrrha got up and swung her sword, only to her surprise; Ashley quickly blocked off with her frying pan. "Just kidding~," Ashley said as she pulled her shotgun revolver and fired twice into Pyrrha's chest and shoulder chargers to force her to back up. Just as Pyrrha looked at Ashley, she quickly backed up before putting her gun away. "Well, this has been fun, but we are running out of time. Hope you had fun with this, but now I think it's time to light the fuse." Ashley said before she spun around, kicking the ground hard until she was a blur. Not taking any chances, Pyrrha quickly grabbed the gauntlet before opening fire on her, only to hear the bullets hit the metal of her frying pan, and it started to click, signifying that the clip ran dry and was now out of bullets. Once she stopped, everyone saw her leg was red hot as she used the friction in the air to light her leg on fire. Ashley quickly put her pan away as she stared Pyrrha down. "Better give up now because believe me when I say this will burn."
"Do you think I will give up after all this? You're the one with a burning leg." Pyrrha said while properly putting the gauntlet back on and turning the shield back on.
"No. But it is not my fault if you listen to the warnings." Ashley said before charging at the champion and kicking the shield with her flaming foot. The hard light shield started to flicker as Pyrrha was pushed back. She groaned as she noticed some of the metal on the barrel had melted, deforming it. Not letting her breathe, Ashley tried to keep kicking her with her flaming leg, only getting minor hits on her. Luckily, each hit she did land left a slight burn that distracted Pyrrha; all the while, she tried her best to attack Ashley, but the flames were slowly weakening her. With one last hit, Ashley used Pyrrha as a springboard before landing on a large hill and jumping off it while spinning around, becoming a flaming wheel. The champion tried to block it, only for the gauntlet to break from the force of the kick before it connected with her chest, making her feel the heat down to her bone as she landed on the ground hard. And soon, her Aura broke, leaving everyone in the Arena speechless. "Sorry, guess I went a little overboard," Ashley said before a cylinder popped out of her robotic arm and extinguished the fire on her leg. "Let me help you get healed up." With that being said, Ashley walked over and picked her up bridal-style before carrying her to the medical Bay without a problem.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I DO NOT BELIEVE IT, BUT THE INVINCIBLE GIRL HERSELF, PYRRHA NIKOS, HAS JUST BEEN DEFEATED BY THE MECROMANCER AND JUST BECAME THE CHAMPION OF THE MISTRAL TOURNAMENT! LET'S GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO THE TWO!"

-Later in the medical wing.-
Pyrrha slowly woke up with a groan due to her aura breaking an hour ago. It seems like it hasn't fully recovered just yet. With a soft sigh, she slowly sat up and flinched as she saw the person who broke her Aura.
"What's up? Want a carrot?" Ashley asked once she noticed Pyrrha was up. Before Pyrrha could ask questions, she pulled two carrots from her jacket.
"No thanks... Were you keeping them there during the fight? Never mind that why are you here?" Phrrya asked before shaking her head and holding it as it pulsed with pain.
"Oh. Well, I'm now waiting for my brothers and hiding from the press. I don't need medical treatment. Besides, I carried you here once I broke your aura."
"Wait, you carried me here? All by yourself after lighting your leg on fire. Was that your semblance?" Pyrrha asked Ashley.
"... Nope. I don't even have an Aura. I use the friction in the air to light my leg on fire." Ashley said bluntly, much to Pyrrha's shock.
"What! But I saw your Aura when I hit you." Pyrrha said out of pure shock.
"Oh, you mean my shield? It's an invention I made a few months ago." Ashley then pulled out a silver disk with a glowing blue center. "Acts like the force field part of the aura. Can't give you superpowers, but I never need them." Ashley then perked up. "Sounds like they're getting close. And they brought friends."
"How? How did you get so strong?" Pyrrha asked as she stared at Ashley.
"Let's just say I'm not fully human... no, wait, I mean, I'm not fully a faunus," Ashley said with a smile before letting Zef and Blue in, along with a boy that had black hair and a magenta streak in it along with a ginger that has more energy than lighting itself. "Sup... what's with Thor's kid and Mister lackluster?"
"Oh, I made a bet with Nora on who would win," Blue said with a smile.
"Did you bet on me?" Ashley asked quickly.
"Yep."
"Ashley, not the time. And what's with the Rosewood?" Zef said with a sigh while shaking his head.
"Sit down. I'll tell you all. I didn't expect to tell more people so soon, but whatever. So remember when I talked to both of you about our I.D.s?" Ashley asked before getting a nod from Blue and Zef. "Yes, well, the easiest way would have been through adoption, so I had you sign some papers saying we are General Ironwood's kids."
"Yes, I remember that. But what does that have to do with the name change?" Zef asked her bluntly.
"Oh, because when we get adopted, we have to change our last name. I didn't think you would like that, so I gave you two middle initials. For now, on your Blue W. Spletzer." Ashley points to Blue before pointing to Zef. "And you are now Zef I. Hasake. The W stands for wood, and the I stands for Iron."
"So wait, you changed our names to have a middle initial?" Zef asked while putting a hand on his chin.
"I like it. We got redwood now, Bluewood." Blue said while pointing to Ashley as he giggled.
"Hehe, yep. So what do you think?" Ashley asked as she turned to Zef.
"Hmmm, I don't mind for once. Honestly, this isn't as bad as when you tried to make dust-free fireworks."
"Dust-free fireworks!" Nora yelled, making everyone turn to her. "How did you make it work? I want to make some! Can I make some?"
"Sure, but you will need odd supplies to make the gunpowder," Ashley said as both Ren and Zef looked up at each other. Seemingly reading each other's reactions, they both agreed on something. Nora and Ashley can't be left alone together.
"Well, this has been fun, but I think we're overstaying our welcome," Pyrrha said as she exited her hospital bed.
"Yes, she's right. We should get going now." Zef said before Ashley and Blue handed Pyrrha and Nora their scroll numbers, respectively.
"Bye~ don't be afraid to call. I'm sure I can entertain you if you feel alone. See you later, Aphrodite." Ashley said, making Pyrrha blush softly as the three left Nora and Ren with her.
"Awww, but I have more questions," Nora said as the group left.
"Hey, we left you our numbers so we can talk later," Blue yelled from the hallway.
