Hello, sorry for taking so long to finish this chapter. I was planning on this being longer, but it's already over 9000. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) I hope you enjoy team ASHH now in canon.
Legends spoke about warriors who fought like the beasts of the wilderness. During the time before the first weapon was made, these warriors fought using the elements, showing powers beyond our wildest dreams. They used these powers to protect the people from the demons who were fighting for one monster that was banished. But when man made the first weapon, they soon found themselves on the path of equity with the warriors. Now, in the present, the warriors have been fighting each time in a new body, writing their own stories in steel, but not after some have given the people the gift of power—weaker and not quite the same as the warriors but still enough to let them fight on par. Only three are known to the world, but the rest are still missing.
A cyborg rabbit faunus and a short inkling stood in a warehouse close to Beacon. One was wearing a black hoodie with sleeves that went past his hands and a graphic design on it with an inkling in its squid form along with splotches of random colors around it; he wore a beanie with goggles, a white skirt that was covered in different splotches of random colors along with leggings under it and black sneakers. The other wore a black dress coat that was torn at the end, and her right sleeve her left sleeve was ripped off, showing her robotic arm; under it, she wore a black dress shirt and a purple vest along with some straps on her holding an extra shotgun ammo, and below it, she had on torn blue jeans and a brown belt and dark brown boots. On her head was a white metal headband with a white triangle. Under all torn clothes were purple tattoos.
"See here, Blue. This place will be our base while we're in Vale. Here, we will start our guild and make a name for ourselves that isn't a part of my criminal record." Ashley said, smiling, as she walked around, showing Blue.
"So our base is just one large empty room that is a mess that we have to clean up? What's next? You're having us sleep on the floor." Blue said as he gave Ashley a deadpan look.
"No. I'll get us some beds. And we won't have to clean up with my new invention." Ashley said as she set down what looked like a fist-sized seashell. Before Blue could say anything, small robot bugs slowly made their way out of the shell and started gathering trash, glass, rocks, and just about anything that wasn't connected to the walls and floor before taking it back to the shell. Anything too big for it was broken down into smaller pieces. "Behold: the Pincer Clean-up Team. Or the PCT for short."
"Ashley, you made little bugs to do your chores, didn't you?" Blue asked while still giving her a deadpan tone.
"No. These are used in scrap yards, demolished buildings, recycling centers, and, in this case, clean-up dirty buildings. This is just me testing it before I try something big." Ashley said as she pulled a cane behind her back and set down a holoprojector. "Now then. Come with me~ and you'll be in a world of pure imagination~."
As Ashley sang, the holoprojector slowly started to show different rooms they could use. Ashley smiled, not realizing Blue was behind until he took the cane and bonked her on the head with it.
"Ashley, no! We can't pay off the copyright with that song." Blue said while pouting, his tentacles turning red.
"Arghh! Fine, I'll stop ya little shit." Ashley said as she rubbed the spot Blue hit her. "Well, I have to go out and get the beds. Here's a few hundred lein. Go out and have some fun."
Blue looked down at the money before looking back up at Ashley. "You aren't going to do anything dumb like attack an information broker for info, are you?"
"What! Blue, how could you... You should know the best one that got attacked yesterday. It was in the news." Ashley said before shaking her head as she walked to her car. "Just go walk around town for a while. I don't expect anything to happen to you while we're here."
"Fine. I guess I'll check out that dust store I saw on the way here." Blue said while pouting as he walked away.

Blue walked into the store, humming, and went to the back to look at some magazines. Soon, we would look around, seeing some catching his eye before settling on a weapon magazine with Ashley on it.
"Hmmm, maybe I can have Ashley mix some of my ink with gunpowder to see what happens? Then again, Zef would get mad at us for trying that after that rainbow Dust experiment that went wrong," Blue said, not realizing someone was walking up behind him.
"Ummm, excuse me." A young red-headed girl wearing a red hood said, making Blue turn around to look at her. "Sorry, can I reach over and grab a magazine?" She had neck-length black hair that faded into red. She had fair skin and silver eyes. She wore a black blouse that had a high collar and red trims on her sleeves. Over which was a black waist cincher with red strings in the front and a matching skirt with red lining and red petticoat. She had a red cloak, a silver rose emblem on her belt, different pockets, and a row of sniper rounds. She wore thick black tights that faded to red near the bottom and black combat boots with red highlights.
Blue blushed softly while his tentacles turned pink before moving to the side, letting her reach over and grab the same weapon magazine he was reading. The redhead didn't seem to notice Blue's tentacles changing.
"Oh, they have Ashley Rosewood in this. Did she make a new ammo type?" The girl said to herself as she started to read the magazine.
"Yeah, she made some new ammo that replaces fire and lighting rounds for people who use shotguns," Blue said as he shook his head to snap out of it before putting his magazine up.
"Aww, no sniper upgrades?"
"Nope, she's said she's more focused on the other ammo types. She doesn't like to use snipers since she is the one to get up close and take the damage."
"But you can use a sniper— wait, how do you know that?" The hooded girl said as she turned to Blue, letting him see her silver eyes.
"Because I know—" Blue tried to say before a tall man in a black suit approached them.
"Hands up in the air!" The man pointed his sword at the two, expecting them to do what he said.
"Are you robbing us?" the redhead asked as she returned the magazine.
"Yes!"
And with that, all hell broke loose as the red-headed girl kicked him away.
-Meanwhile with, Ashley.-
"God dammit, how come every time I try to build something simple, I lose an important piece to it, making it impossible for me to finish! Dammit, this is pissing me off!" Ashley yelled as she worked on the beds, only to stop when she started to get a call. Not looking at the number calling her, she put her robotic hand up and put it on her head like a phone. "Blue, this better be important. I lost a piece of the fucken bed."
"Miss Rosewood. Please calm down and explain why I'm calling you instead of Mister Hasake." The voice of Glynda Goodwitch said, already sounding annoyed.
"Oh, Professor Goodwitch. Zef is currently on a mission to investigate the Forever Fall forest. I'm sure he's looking for the missing train car detached from the train he was guarding. And some weird energy with Holo. Well, why are you calling anyway?" Ashley asked, sounding confused since not many people call her with anything vital unless it was for a mission.
"Mister Spletzer was arrested and—."
"Ha, what did he do? Act cute to a cop while walking past him? Just walk around once it was dark, and the cop thought he was running away from home?" Ashley said while laughing, thinking that it wouldn't be too bad.
"No, I arrested him because he fought Roman Torchwick with help from another." And with that being said, Ashley stopped and froze up as she stared at her phone hand.
"HE WHAT! Never mind, I'm heading over there now. Just tell me when I get there. KINO! WHERE ARE YOU?" Ashley yelled as she hung up while looking around, only for Kino to pop his head out of a box. "Kino, hold the fort down and try to look for any missing pieces to the bed. I'm heading out!" Just as she said, Kino put on an army helmet that managed to fit on his head before pulling a heavy chain from the box. "Where the hell did you get all that? Know what. I don't have the time for it. I have to go."
Ashley went outside and got into her car before driving to the police station. It was a custom-made Comet S2 Cabrio with a red and blue gemstone design.
"Fucken hell, Blue, what caused you to go after him." Ashley thought to herself.
-Earlier-
Blue and the redhead kicked a grunt out of the window and onto the street. Blue pulled his charger out from his sleeve while the redhead pulled out what looked like Scythe before striking a pose. Blue smiled before aiming his charger at Roman. Roman was a tall, lanky man with dark green eyes and bright, long orange hair that covered his right eye while his left eye had eyeliner on it. He wore a white suit with red lining, black dress pants, and black shoes. Along with it, he had a small gray scarf, a black bowler hat with a feather in it and a red band on it, and black gloves with buckled sleeves.
"Well... get them," Roman said deadpan before his grunts charged at the two. Blue aimed his charger at the grunts with a smile before two beeps sounded off in just half a second. He fired, and a glob of ink hit the grunt in the face, knocking him down and out before the other grunt tripped over him, letting Blue quickly shoot him like the other. One tried to sneak up from behind Blue, holding a machete and ready to strike. While striking down, Blue turned to the side, dodging the strike. In relation, the grunt tried to punch him, only for Blue quickly put the barrel into the grunt's armpit before rapidly firing, causing him to yell in pain and back away before Blue shot his hand, making him drop his weapon before finally hitting the grunt in the face with the butt of his charger knocking him out. Once he was done, Blue turned to the little red riding hood packing heat and saw how easily she was taking the grunts out while using the back of her scythe. Blue blushed softly while his tentacles turned pink as he stared. A grunt was slowly getting up from behind him. Without looking, Blue charged his charger with one hand before firing into the grunt's face, knocking him out again. "Worth every damn cent," Roman said as he slowly walked up to the two, making them turn to him once all the grunts were taken care of. "Well, Blue, Red. It's been fun, but I have to go. Can't leave a lady waiting." Roman said before aiming his cane at the two before a crosshair appeared from the bottom of the cane, revealing it to be a gun. Blue jumps in front of Red without thinking as Roman fires a flare. Blue quickly flipped a switch before firing, releasing bubbles and catching the flare in them, letting it explode harmlessly, but while Blue was distracted, Roman started to climb a ladder to a roof.
"Stay here. I'm going after him." Blue told Red as she looked at him in shock at what his charger could do. Blue quickly shot the ground near the building, leaving a puddle of blue ink. Blue promptly jumped into the ink puddle before jumping to the roof. "Roman! You're under arrest for stealing dust, money, somehow knowing my name, other stuff... and stealing my sister's fashion sense!" Blue yelled out as his tentacles turned into bright gold.
"Persistent... wait, what was that last part?" Roman said while turning to Blue.
"You heard me!" Blue yelled before hearing gunshots, making him back up a little while keeping his eyes on Roman. Soon, Red came up from the side of the building. Before anyone could say anything, a bullhead came up between the two buildings and picked up Roman.
"End of the line, you two!" Roman smiled as he threw a burn Dust crystal at them before shooting it with his cane. He was expecting an explosion, but instead, he got a blue bubble containing the explosion. "How in the world?" He said that before feeling the bullhead shake, Glynda Goodwitch appeared and used her semblance to try to ground the bullhead. When this happened, Roman ran to the cockpit. "Shit, we have a huntress!" Switching places with the woman controlling the bullhead, she slowly walked up; only what was below her neck could be seen by them. She had a black jacket, dark gray leggings with navy blue shorts, brown military combat boots, a necklace with a skull similar to Blue's crossguard, and a white crop top.
What confused them the most was her skin. It looked to be blue, with some spots of Caucasian white skin. Looking up, they can only see two small yellow circles where her eyes would be. Without saying anything, she held her hand up and aimed it at Glynda, letting some wires wrap around her arm as it started to glow. In shock, Blue quickly ran to Glynda as the stranger's arm turned into a hard-light-arm cannon and fired a plasma shot, leaving Blue no choice but to tackle Glynda out of the way as a large portion of the roof broke from the shot. The stranger quickly changes her aim, only to stop and stare at Blue in shock. Only to stop and turn to Ruby as she started to open fire on her. The wires quickly unwrapped from her arm and formed a shield in front of her, blocking the bullets while Glynda used the pieces from the roof and her semblance to try and take the bullhead down. In retaliation, the stranger threw a belt with multiple grenades on it, forcing Blue to react and use his charger to contain the explosions. As they went off inside the bubble, it quickly grew before popping, covering everyone in ink and letting Roman and the stranger escape. Blue stared at them, his tentacles now a red, before turning to look at Ruby and a now angry Glynda, making him get nervous while his tentacles turned a crimson red.
"Ummm... this comes off, right?" Red asked Blue nervously as she stared at a now disappointed Glynda.
"Yeah, you just need to dip it in water..." Blue said, trying to distract Glynda for Red before turning into a squid and trying to hide and run away from her. "Scatter!"
-Soon, at the police station.-
Ashley pulled up in her car, all while looking annoyed. With a sigh, she walked inside, much to the worried look the police were giving her. Ashley looked around and noticed a wanted poster of a woman. She had long, neck-length brown hair with red highlights. She wore a black cloak with a mask in her hand, and her face caught her attention the most. It looked cut up like she fought people with knives for fun without Aura. She had bandages that covered her face, but there were so many. Some of the police officers reached for their weapons, ready to fight her if she tried something. Ashley, noticing this, started to look around before asking out loud for all the officers to hear.
"Is this racial profiling? Or are you doing this because of my record of attacking the one percent and the political parties? And before anyone does anything... Those were all pardoned." Ashley asked while looking around, only for one officer to put up two fingers, making her smile. "Ah, okay. Thank you." Soon, Ashley walked up to the front desk to start on the worst thing to do late at night... Paperwork. She let out a soft groan, knowing this would be so much harder without Holo helping her. 'Damm it, Zef. The one time Blue got arrested. He better be done soon because he does this better than me.'
Ashley thought, as she usually had Zef pick her up from jail. Without looking up, Ashley made her way to the seating area and started to fill out the paperwork. She didn't notice that she was sitting beside a blonde man. He had short blonde hair mixed with gray hair, blue eyes, a soul patch, and slight stubble along his jawline. He wore a tan dress shirt with a brown leather vest. On his left arm, he had a red bandana, and on his right, he had a tattoo of his emblem on it, which was a heart. He also wore brown cargo shorts, a dark brown belt, black shoes, a metal shoulder piece on his right arm, leather vambraces, and brown fingerless gloves. Before long, she heard a cough, making her look up to see the blonde-haired teen. Ashley felt like she had seen her before. She had long, thick, wavy blonde hair that faded to pale gold at the tips of her hair. She also had lilac eyes and fair skin. She has a tan jacket that shows her midriff, short puffy sleeves, black cuffs that feature two golden buttons, and a low-cut yellow tank top that has her emblem in black on her left breast. This belt is covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip, black tight spandex shorts that reach her upper thigh on it was a white piece of material that reaches her right knee, along with a pair of brown knee-high boots, and orange over-the-knee socks. At the same time, a purple bandana was tied around her left knee, along with black fingerless gloves and thick gold vambraces.
"What brings you here?" The blonde asked, trying to make some small talk.
"Huh? Oh, my little brother was caught fighting Roman, so I came here to pay his bail and get him out." Ashley said bluntly while the blonde looked confused.
"What?"
"Yeah, that's about all I know. Why did he drag someone else into the mess? Someone, you know?" Ashley asked her, only to stop before looking up and noticing someone walking into the police station. "And Professor Ozpin is here... damm, how bad was the damage? Usually, Blue prevents all the property damage." Ashley asked herself as Tai and Yang quickly looked at Ozpin.
"Miss Rosewood, could you please come with me? I have some questions about what happened, and I believe you can help me."
"If it means I can skip the paperwork, I'm in," Ashley said bluntly as she got up to follow Ozpin.
"Wait, Oz." the Blonde man said as he approached Ozpin. "Just what are you planning?"
"I'm just going to see if I can get another student today." He said with a soft smile before walking to the interrogation room.
-With Blue, Ruby, and Glynda.-
"I hope you two realize your actions will not be taken lightly. You both put yourself and others in great danger." Miss Goodwitch said as she paced behind the two.
"They started it!"
"Yeah, we were just reading the magazines and talking about my sister, and then one of them came out of nowhere and told us to put our hands up!" Blues said while holding his hands up.
"Wait, sister?"
"Enough! If it were up to me, you two would be sent home with a pat on the back." Glynda said before pausing, making the two smile. "And a slap on the wrist." She quickly added before slapping the table with her riding crop, making the two pull their hands away from her. "But there was someone here who would like to meet you."
Just as she said, Professor Ozpin came in holding a plate of cookies and his coffee mug while Ashley followed him inside, making Blue smile and wave at her.
"Hey, Ashley!" Blue said while smiling as Ruby looked at him.
"Wait, she's your sister?" Ruby asked, sounding nervous, before looking the two over.
"Yep, that's my little brother. Why are you a fan of me? If so, I must ask you to stop before you try to copy me and break any laws." Ashley said while everyone was worried about whether she was serious or not.
"You're a boy!" Ruby yelled out in shock as she stared at Blue.
"Woomy." Blue smiled as he held up a peace sign. Ruby stared at him in shock before Professor Ozpin coughed, making everyone turn to him.
"That's what you decide to focus on first?" Ashley asked but was ignored as Ozpin spoke up.
"Miss Rose... you have silver eyes." Professor Ozpin said after getting her attention. As he said this, he put down the plate of cookies before the two started to eat (aka inhale.) the cookies easily. Ashley managed to take one before biting into it.
"Huh. Strawberry, chocolate chip, and blueberries? When did you have the time to make this?" Ashley asked before being ignored again.
"So, where did you learn to do this?" Ozpin asked as Glynda held up a scroll showing a video of Ruby fighting.
"Signal Academy," Ruby said softly as she stopped eating the cookies.
"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?" Ozpin said while keeping an eye on her. Ashley took the scroll to watch Ruby fight before butting in.
"God to admit it's a great weapon. The sniper rounds are strong enough to enhance your strikes, increase your movement, or give you an intimidating finisher if you want to scare the Grimm or anyone close by, and the scythe isn't a common weapon to fight against, so it is hard to predict. Well, the red color looks good on you... my only problem is that you seem too attached to the weapon." Ashley said, only to look up and see everyone staring at her. "What? I'm right... either way, learn some kicking-fighting style or get a hidden weapon like me." Ashley said while handing the scroll back and looking away without noticing the stars in Ruby's eyes at the praise she was given about her weapon.
"Thank you. My uncle Qrow taught me how to use it. I made Crescent Rose myself back at Signal with him, my dad and sister Yang watching over me." Ruby said quickly, making Ashley smile.
"They must be proud of you."
"Oh... they probably are mad at me for going after Roman..." Ruby said before looking down as Glynda tried to speak up, only for Ozpin to smile and stop her so he could see how this would play out.
"... They wouldn't happen to both be Blonde and have purple eyes, would they? If so, they are out there seemingly worried about you. You fought Roman, the gentleman thief, and the smoke king. The man who could control smoke when he felt like things were getting too dangerous. And look at you, not a scratch on you. I wish I had been there. I love a good fight." Ashley said before sitting down in the chair across from her.
"You think so?"
"Yeah. I mean, I'm proud of Blue for what he did today. He should have just known better than to run from Glynda. She knows just how to catch you just by looking at you." Ashley said while sighing and smiling. "Now I do want to know Ruby... or do you want to go by something else like Little Red."
"Little Red?"
"Like the childhood story? Is that what you mean, Ashley?" Blue asked while sounding confused.
"Right on the money. I mean, look at her. She looks like a modern/badass version of Little Red Riding Hood." Ashley said, only for Ruby to stand up and point at her.
"Swear!"
"... Moving aside from that... Why are you training to be a huntress?" Ashley asked while Ozpin relaxed as Ashley did his job for him.
"Well... I want to help people. My parents always taught my sister and me to help others, so I thought I might as well make a career out of it. I mean, the police are—" Ruby said, explaining to herself before Ashley stopped her.
"Hold it. I don't know what the police are like, but for Altus—" Ashley started, only for Blue to run up and stop her by putting a hand on her mouth. "Right, sorry. I hate the racist cops there. Most of my arrests are justified, and one was deserving, but a lot are still bullshit."
"Swear!"
"Because those cops hate me and the faunus... and the other reasons!" Blue then slaps her to make her stop, making Ashley rub her cheek before getting up to let Ozpin speak.
"Do you know who I am?" Ozpin asked Ruby and Blue.
"Your Professor Ozpin. Headmaster at Beacon." was Ruby's answer.
"Your Ozpin. You offered Ashley and Zef early access to Beacon before they turned you down for multiple reasons." Blue said before Ruby turned to Blue.
"They refused an offer for one of the best Huntsman academics!"
"Like I said. I'm not leaving without my brother and my team's mascot."
"I'M NOT A MASCOT!" Blue yelled while pouting as his tentacles turned red. "I thought you stopped that a year ago and called Holo our mascot."
"Sorry. It is a big sibling law to tease our little siblings when they are near people they think the little sibling finds cute~ it's just like the one boy in Altus—" Ashley said, only for Blue to turn into a squid and cover her mouth.
"Shut up!" Blue yelled before Ozpin started to laugh at the two siblings' reaction.
"Well, it's been all fun and games. But I have severe questions for you two. Do you want to come to my school?" Ozpin asked while losing his smile.
"More than anything."
"As long as my brother and sister will be there. I will follow them."
Ozpin smiled before turning to Glynda as she scoffed.
"Welcome to Beacon, you two," Ozpin said as Blue got off Ashley. Ozpin then held his hands out to shake theirs.
"Fuck yeah! We're skipping classes to go to Beacon!"
"Swear!"
"I'm sorry about her... she doesn't have a filter," Blue said before walking over to Ruby and gently grabbing her shoulder.
"We should go out and celebrate. I'll buy everyone burgers. I don't care if it's 11 at night." Ashley said with a smile. "I'll even buy your family burgers to celebrate."
"... You lost a piece of the bed and now don't want to mess with them until the morning, do you?" Blue said in a deadpan tone.
"I will not confirm or deny it."
"Well, as much as I would like to let you go, Mister Splezer, I want to talk more about what happened with you and Roman," Ozpin said, making Ashley sigh and shake her head before pulling a piece of paper and writing an address.
"Here, you can come over if you still want to celebrate with us next week. This may take a few hours, and the place will be closed before we get done here." Ashley said before handing Ruby the note.
"Oh, Thank you... can you make sure there are cookies there?" Ruby asked before getting up and leaving.
"Sure. I'll buy you a family-size pack of Oreos." Ashley said with a smile before Ruby left. Before anyone could say anything, Ashley turned to Blue before speaking up. "Your girlfriend is pretty cute. When are you planning on telling Zef about her? Because if not, please let me tell him I need to see the look on his face when I do," Ashley said teasingly.
"What! No— she's not— we aren't— shut up! You're a dummy, and we just met today." Blue said, now blushing a deep red while his tentacles turned pink again.
"Is he okay?" Glynda said while looking at Blue's blushing face.
"Oh, he's fine. That's how he blushes when we discuss his crushes like Ruby over there." Ashley said while giggling, only to stop when Ozpin touched her shoulder.
"Miss Rosewood, I brought you here to see if you can help Mister Spletzer with your tech. Playing parts, he forgot or had difficulty noticing at the time." Ozpin said before Ashley went to start getting the setup ready.
"Yeah, I can; it will be harder without Holo's help. And done, let me start the video." Ashley said as she typed on a holographic keyboard before a screen appeared. The screen shows the fight through Blue's eyes. "I'm just going to skip the part at the bullhead. I don't think we need a repeat, and that was the only place without cameras."
Ashley quickly fast-forwarded the fight until Blue jumped onto the roof before Ashley stopped to look at the shot that Roman fired from his cane.
"Huh... hey, Dust doesn't leave smoke behind, right?" Ashley asked before taking a picture of the projectile.
"No, not by itself. Could it be one of your ammo types?" Ozpin asked before Ashley shook her head.
"No, I haven't made any flare ammo." Ashley moved the picture for a later look before continuing the video, keeping it going till the figure appeared and pausing again. "Hello... Now, who are you?" Ashley said as she slowly turned the brightness up to try and see the figure's face. Unfortunately, it didn't work. "Damn it... thought that would work."
"You thought turning the brightness up would let you see her face?" Glynda asked while sounding a little surprised.
"It normally works for me."
"Hey, look at her hair! She has tentacles on them!" Blue yelled, making everyone stop to look and see that he was right. However, unlike Blue's tentacles, the figure tentacles had suction cups on the outside of the hair.
"Huh... Blue, you don't think..." Ashley said before Blue finished for her.
"That she's an octoling? Most likely."
"I'm sorry, an octoling?" Ozpin asked as he turned to look at the two.
"Oh, they're like inklings. They look different." Blue said with a smile.
"Yeah, other than looks, there are no differences between them. It's like looking at a human with two skin colors or a panther fauna and a tiger fauna. Get what I mean?" Ashley asked them, smiling once they nodded, showing they understood her. "Well, I can't see anything else. So that's all the information we are working with."
"Well, if she is an octoling, that's more than enough information," Ozpin said while smiling. "James told us that Mister Spetzler is the only one of his kind, and if she's so similar to him, she might be from the same place as you two."
"Yeah, that's what I thought. She should be easy to spot unless there's a secret colony of inklings and octoling." Ashley said before looking at some other videos. "Have you seen the video on Zef and Holo's mission yet?"
"No, I'm afraid I haven't had the time," Ozpin said, shaking his head.
"Well, get ready 'cause you're about to."
Ashley quickly disattached her hand from her arm before putting it on the table, letting a hologram play, showing a three-dimensional video.
"Why didn't you show the video with this?" Blue asked Ashley as she sat down.
"One: Holo needs to make this kind of video because it's complicated and needs an AI touch. Two: even if they were here to make it, they would need time. Like a few hours minimum." Ashley said while sighing as the video started.
-With hologram Zef and Holo.-
Zef was sitting inside a train car while Holo was floating above him. He had a new look to him. He wore a primarily black Kyūdō with one sleeve gone and golden strings around his body; his other sleeve faded into a deep dark blue. The same blue on his vest and belt. He had pale skin and deep red eyes. A silver box with multiple wires, sensors, and a screen was on his waist.
"This is an easy job. I was sure we would have been attacked by now." Holo said as they turned to Zef.
"Huh, I guess some of your calculations were wrong then," Zef said to the AI.
"Yes, sometimes things can go wrong when I can't predict some unexpected variables if I'm not told of them in time." Holo started to let off some beeps while flashing red and blue for a second before turning to the door. "Speaking on which. White Fang are here, and there's breaching chargers on the door."
"Weapons?" Zef slowly started to get up before pulling his swords out.
"Assault rifles similar to what Altus provides its soldiers. They seem to have seen better days." Holo said, showing Zef a hologram of the guns. "There's a lot of damage to them."
"Any with melee?"
"Yes, some with stolen swords from the Ak units."
"Just outside the door or the whole train?"
"The whole train, but I see some that are not on the train yet. Seemingly waiting for the perfect moment to strike."
"Alright then. I'm ready to do this. Any warning before I jump in and fight them off?" Zef said as he turned to the door.
"Yes, the door behind you is about to blast open," Holo said while turning away.
"Wait, what–"
As Zef turned to look at Holo, time slowed to a halt before Holo slowly floated to the door. They soon fazed through it, looking over the explosive on the door. They noted that the explosive had five seconds and enough power to destroy the door and use whatever was left of the door as shrapnel for Zef. Looking ahead, they notice three white Fang members running away from the door, knowing what will happen. Using a camera to let them see the weapons they are using, they slowly go up to them before scanning their weapons. They noticed that some of the guns were made with reverse recoil—an easy hack to turn that off and increase recoil up to fifty percent. With a nod, Holo just started to head back to Zef while taking their time as only a second had passed. Before time went back to normal, they placed a marker behind a crate and put a warning in front of Zef's face while adding a countdown. As time started to speed up, Zef noticed the popup and quickly jumped behind the crate before the door blew up. Once the door blew up, he heard a man give orders to head inside. Another popup appeared in front of Zef, warning him that they didn't have any aura making him and that there were three of them in the cart with him. Zef let out a sigh, knowing that he had to be careful with them. Slowly, one approaches him without realizing it. Once within arms' reach, Zef grabbed the member's head before slamming it down onto the crate. The other two quickly turned to see what Zef had done before jumping over the box and charging at the remaining Fang members. Without thinking, the two opened fire on him only to be forced to fight their guns as the recoil prevented them from shooting straight and made them aim anywhere but where Zef was. With a quick swipe of his sword, Zef cut both guns in half before dropping his swords and grabbing the two's shirts.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! Don't—!"
"Don't you dare hum—"
As the two try to speak to try and save themselves from Zef. He quickly pulled them together before making them headbutt each other, knocking them out before he grabbed his swords and put them up as he left the cart, only for the white fang member that was slammed into the crate to stand up and aim his gun ready to fire with just one hand. Only when he did his shot go wide, and the weapon slammed into his face, knocking him out.
"Dumbass. Should have just stayed down." Zef said before slowly climbing up and seeing two fighting a spider-like robot called a spider droid. "Holo. You're up."
With that being said, time started to slow down before Holo appeared in front of a redheaded bull faunus and turned to look at the black-haired cat girl. Holo sends a note telling Zef about their appearance and that they have an aura. The cat girl had amber eyes, purple eyeshadow, wavy black hair, and cat ears on top of her head. She wore a white sleeveless high-neck cropped undershirt, a black button vest with coat tails, white spandex shorts that reached her upper thighs, black stockings that faded to purple when they went lower, and black heel boots. Her emblem is white on the sides of her leggings. Black ribbons were wrapped around her forearms, a small loose black scarf around her neck, and a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep. The redhead bull faunus had his hair spiked back and two reddish-black horns. He wore a long sleeve, high-collar, double-breasted stylized blazer with slit sleeves and red thorn sigils, along with a white crest on his left shoulder; he had a red shirt under his jacket, his jacket has a wilting rose emblem on his back, he has black dress pants with black shoes with red soles with black-gloved that have the omega symbol on them. His mask was whitish tan and had red lines on it and Japanese-style horns on it with two slits that allowed him to see. They then turned to their weapons, starting with the cat girl. They closely looked it over with a hum before going to the redhead. The cat girl's weapon seemed to be a single-bladed sword and pistol hybrid, while her sheath was also a cleaver. Taking a closer look, there was a ribbon tied to the sword, letting it turn into a kusarigama.
In contrast, the redhead weapon was a Chokutō, while the sheath was a rifle. Once they were done, they went back over to see more white fang fighting robots near the back of the train. Holo looked the two over before pulling out some screens behind their back and running her numbers. After looking it over, they lifted their hand and showed that the white fang fighting the robots could be ignored for now while the two fighting up ahead were more critical and needed to be dealt with; with that done, time started to speed up.
"Zef, one is a bull faunus with horns. The other is a cat faunus," Holo said as Zef quickly read the report.
"Understood. Anything you can do with their weapons?" Zef asked, only for Holo to shake their head.
"Negative. There's nothing I can hack. All I could do was scan them." Holo said while Zef strolled up to them.
"Then show me the path of any bullets they fire," Zef said as he pulled his swords out of his sheath before clipping them together and turning them into one sword while waving his hand over a metal box that was on his hip only for a throwing knife to appear in his hand in a flash of blue and white light.
"Understood."
Once the robot spider was destroyed, Zef quickly threw the knife between them, getting their attention.
"Got to admit that was a good fight you two put up. But I think it's time to pack up and go home. Or if you want, you can drop the masks and surrender so I don't have to hunt you two down." Zef said as he slowly approached them while pulling out another knife. "I don't care what you two do."
"A Huntsman? What is one doing here?" Adam asked while growling, "Leave us shizno. Or I'll be forced to cut you down."
"A lot to unpack there. But it looks like a fight is unavoidable; oh well, I tried." Zef said before throwing the knife at the redhead, making him block it with his sword. The cat girl aimed her pistol at him before opening fire on him, trying her best to shoot his legs to try and hurt him and, hopefully, disable him for a few minutes so they could kick him off of the train. But surprisingly, he managed to evade each bullet with surprising ease. With a swing, Zef's blade hit Adam's sword before Zef quickly pulled back and kicked up a piece of the robot just as Adam pulled his sword out to strike. The strike was missed as it hit the piece. Zef leaned back, and Adam aimed for Zef's head. Keeping calm and noticing Blake throwing her weapon at him, he reached out to grab it, hoping to take it and leave her with just a cleaver after cutting the ribbon off it. Before he could, Zef's eyes quickly turned from crimson red to cyan blue as he jumped over Adam's sword while dodging Blake's weapon. His eyes quickly went back to normal, leaving him a little disoriented. Zef promptly shook his head before getting up and turning around, just deflecting Adam's sword in time as Adam tried to stab him through his chest. Zef flinched as Adam's sword scraped by Zef's shield, causing it to flash and show a cyan-blue light in a hexagonal pattern.
"What the hell? What kind of Aura do you have?" Adam asked in a little shock before stepping back.
"It's not Aura," Zef said softly before quickly throwing a knife at Adam, aiming for his mask while hoping to take it off. Blake meanwhile shot the knife before it could hit Adam. "I never had to rely on it before, and I don't need to now."
Blake ran up to Zef before swinging Gamble Shroud in a horizontal arc, making sure she would hit Zef with the flat of her blades. Zef, in response, blocked with his sword before grabbing another knife and attempting to stab Blake in the side with the knife, only to see her Aura flash to protect herself as the knife broke when it made contact with the Aura. Zef threw the knife to the side before swinging his sword at her, hoping to knock her off of the train, only for a warning coming from Holo made him disengage as he grabbed Adam's sword after it was launched out from its hilt. Zef quickly charged at Adam, thinking it would be easier to attack him. Zef managed to dodge every bullet fired from my Adam's sheath, only to be forced to use it to block the strike from Zef's sword. He quickly tried to headbutt Zef, aiming his horns for his eye, only for Zef to spin around, striking him across his back and kicking Adam away. Blake and Adam panted as they stared Zef down while he stood there, ready to start the fight again. The two faunus looked at each other before nodding. Blake handed Adam the cleaver part of her weapon before charging at Zef. As she kept trying to hit Zef, he kept weaving and dodging her strikes before blocking it with Adam's sword and staring her down, only for Adam to come up from behind and swing the cleaver down only for Zef to turn to him and use his sword to block the strike while keeping Blake at bay. Zef quickly kicked Blake in the gut, forcing her to back off as he pulled his sword away from Adam and hit him in the back of the head with the rumble of his sword. Zef threw Adam's sword at Blake, making the pumble hit her head. With a growl, Adam slowly got up and grabbed his sword before charging at Zef. Blake looked up to see what the bull was doing.
"Adam! No, you'll kill him!"
As Blake yelled this, Adam quickly got into a quickdraw stance with his sword while Holo left an alert for Zef, telling him to get out of the way. Seeing he couldn't run fast enough to dodge the strike, he leaned back while Adam swung his sword. At that moment, Zef managed to lean back far enough so the strike wouldn't do any considerable damage, but Adam managed to break through the shield and peel the skin off his elbows, causing Zef to spill blood. Zef quickly jumped away from Adam in a panic as his brain started to go a million miles a minute.
'What the hell? He just broke through the shield like it was a bubble. This newest model can tank a few hits from a charged-up Nora before breaking. Was that his semblance?' Zef thought in a panic as it took everything he had not to show the panic he was feeling.
"Zef, watch out!" Holo yelled, but it was too late as Blake put her sword to his throat. Looking down, Zef noticed she was using the back of her blades instead of the front.
"Well... you caught me. Now, what are you going to do? Kill me here and now?" Zef said, trying to buy time so the shield would charge back up.
"What? No!" Blake said in shock while Adam ran up to them.
"Really? Then what about the other people on this train."
"They don't matter. You'll join them soon anyways." Adam said with a soft grin.
"Adam, what are you talking about?"
"We're leaving him tied up, Blake, and planting this next to him and the rest of the humans on the train as well." Adam pulled out a bomb, making Blake stare at him in shock and a little fear.
"Adam, you can't do that! There are children on this train!"
"Children that will grow up and be no better than the humans now. Come on, you can take him to his final resting place." Adam said as he started to walk off, and Zef began to get nervous. Thinking quickly, Zef spoke up.
"You want that? Do you want people to know you as a monster who would kill innocent kids on a little chance that they are racist as well? You want to teach the future faunus to be like humans?" Zef said as Adam stopped.
"No... I want a world without humans so there won't be any more racism." Adam said before blake gasped softly from his answer.
"That's dumb... I mean, once the humans are gone, what's stopping the others from being racist to each other."
"...Blake end him. I'm going to set up the last of the charges." Adam said as he walked away, only to stop when he heard the train cart disconnect, making him turn around to see Blake had cut the cart. "Blake!" The two watched as the train carts that Adam was on slowed down. Once it was out of view, Blake fell to her knees.
"Here... you'll need it if you want to hide for a while," Zef said as he handed her what looked like a black ribbon.
"Why? I was helping him." Blake asked while looking up before taking the bow.
"No, you were only doing this to help the faunus. He just wants to release his anger and kill people. Now he's on a road that will only lead to his death, and neither of us can stop it." Zef said before heading up to the front of the train.
"You talk like you have experienced and seen this before," Blake said as Holo appeared before Zef.
"I have informed Ironwood what happened. He wants you to rest up and explore the forest for the carts. He's hoping there would be clues for the camps' locations." Holo said before disappearing.
"Figure it would happen. You think you can help her sneak into Vale?" Zef asked as he put his hand on his ear, acting like he had a device.
"I don't know if I can. She already jumped off about three seconds ago."
"Wait, what!" Zef yelled before turning around and seeing Blake was now gone. "Damm..."
"What? Were you hoping to get her number?" Holo asked, making Zef blush.
"Stop it. Ashley is bad enough. We don't need you to join in." Zef said after letting out a groan.
"Well, this will be made into a video and sent to her."
"Wait, did you cut out b—" Zef said before the video cut off.
-Recording end.-
"Huh, looks like I have to tease Zef now," Ashley said as she watched the hologram turn off.
"Does this mean—."
"Yes, I will still tease you about your girlfriend, Blue," Ashely said with a smirk while Blue pouted.
"Miss Rosewood. Do you know if Mister Hasake is done with his mission yet?" Ozpin asked, now a little worried after seeing what Adam was about to do.
"Nope. Once I get Holo's notification, she can tell us how it went." Ashley said, only for a few beeps from her arm. "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear," Ashley said as she went to look at the report. After a few seconds of reading it, she screamed out: "What the fuck!"
"Language, Miss Rosewood," Glynda said with annoyance while looking at Ashley.
"Not the time! We need to go to the hospital! Zef is hurt badly! Blue, let's go!" Ashley yelled as she grabbed Blue before booking it to her car.

Ashley hummed softly as she was working on a rifle that would be able to shoot out plasma as a way to combat the stronger Grimm. As she worked, she didn't notice Blue slowly sneaking up on her until he jumped onto her back and hugged her, making her jump.
"Ahhhh! Oh hey, Blue, what are you doing here? Weren't you on a mission?" Ashley asked Blue with a small smile.
"Yep! I managed to complete it and even found this." Blue said before pulling a Dust crystal from his pocket. What caught Ashley's attention was that the colors were changing like a rainbow.
"What is that?" Ashley asked hesitantly as she stared at it.
"I don't know... I found it in the dirt." Blue said as he turned to look at Ashley.
"... Want to see what will happen if we use it with a plasma rifle?"
"I can shoot the gun? Can I?" Blue asked, making Ashley laugh softly.
"Sure Blue. Sure you can." Ashley said, laughing softly, as she went to finish the rifle quickly. After a few minutes, it was completed with the dust crystal in a tube. "And done. Here, Blue, aim for the wall over there." Ashley then pointed to a wall on the other side of the room with a target painted on it. Blue took the gun before aiming it before pulling the trigger, expecting something to happen.
"... Ashley, your gun is broken," Blue yelled out.
"No, hold the trigger down. It needs to charge up." Ashley said that as Blue started to charge it up, it began to hum. Soon, it started to shake as well. "Ummm, Blue, I think it's time to let go of the trigger now."
"No, I can charge it for a bit longer," Blue said as Ashley started worrying. "Almost there."
"Let go of the gun, Blue. It's going to blow up!" Ashley yelled as she ran to help him, but it was too late. The gun blew up, making parts fly everywhere. The dust blew into Blue's tentacles and embedded them deep into his tentacles. "Oh shit..."
-Later.-
Blue slowly woke up to find him in a hospital bed while groaning.
"Ow... where am I?" Blue said as he slowly sat up and looked around, only to stop when he heard someone walking to the door. Soon, he saw Zef walk into the room, looking mad, and pull Ashley by her human ears into the room.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Please stop it. I know I fucked up." Ashley said while trying to get Zef to let her go.
"Ummm, what's happening?" Blue asked, making the two look at him, only to freeze as they stared at him and saw his tentacles were now yellow.
"Hey, Blue... you feeling okay? You didn't wake up earlier, did you?" Ashley asked, looking a bit worried.
"No, why do you ask?" Blue asked, making him turn his head as Zef let go of Ashley.
"Because you're now yellow," Zef said bluntly.
"Wait, what?" Blue said as he looked down at his tentacles, now seeing them yellow. "Ashley, did you try to prank me again?" Blue said, now sounding worried as his tentacles changed to a crimson red.
"What the? Ashley, what the hell is happening to Blue? Why are his tentacles changing colors?" Zef asked, making Blue panic.
"What?"
"I don't... Wait, I might have an idea... Zef grabs the tentacles." Ashley said as Zef gave her a deadpan. "What? I'm maybe the smart one here but don't know shit about medical science, biology, or dust... besides I don't even think I finished high school." Blue started to give her a deadpan, now annoyed, as his tentacles turned to their regular blue. "... hey Blue, tell me all you felt the second you woke up."
"Ummm, well, I felt tired, worried, and annoyed. Why do you ask?" Blue said as Ashley got close to him and examined his tentacles.
"Huh... Blue... I don't know how to say this... you're now a weird mood squid." Ashley said, making the two stare at Ashley, annoyed even more than before, as Blue's tentacles turned red.
"Can I slap her?" Blue asked Zef.
"Wait! Wait, think about this. If I'm right and this isn't random and connects to your... Emotions. Oh shit, this is really bad." Ashley said, now getting the two worried.
"Ashley, what is it?" Zef asked as Ashley looked at him.
"Well... the Dust is probably really close to his brain... a brain that is weak to explosions of any kind... and Dust has a habit of exploding right..." Ashley said that as Blue's tentacles started to turn, a rainbow outline was created, and inside, the outline started to change from black to white at random. "I'm going to get a real doctor! Zef, you keep him here and prevent him from blowing." Ashley said as she went to run off.
"What about Blue? Look at him!" Zef yelled as Ashley ran.
"He's probably having a panic attack! Help him. Distract him. Do something I don't know!" Ashley said, now in a panic.
