The island of Corsica. Our heroes have arrived at the Island of Beauty along with the Olympic Flame, and they had survived the previous villains, yet there are still a lot more to be done for them.
Gaulois was enjoying the breeze at the beach while relaxing, and the Phryges were up to their usual antics at the beach, playing beach sports and doing other sorts of hilarious stuff. Asterix and Obelix had prepared coconut drinks for everyone, with the Space Goofs sharing them to others. After resting, they headed off to the old-fashioned village of la Balagne. While venturing in the entire village, the crew had Gaulois felt a strange presence. A ghostly voice was whispering to him, and he tried to follow it. Full of blue she was, that teenage monster was shy yet friendly at the same time. She was dressed like a modern teenage, abeit with fashion that tourists would like.
"Bonjour!" greeted Gaulois. "What brings you here? And what's your name?"
"The name is Ruby Gillman. I am teenage Kraken to be precise. I may look like a typical teenager, but I am a powerful Kraken warrior. It all runs in the blood." the teenage monster replied. "Are you guys going to Ajaccio?"
"Enchante, Ruby." replied Gaulois. "From what I can remember, do you know where the direction to Ajaccio is headed towards? I have heard that ghostly voice and it was calling me!"
"That path right here is where the French general's hometown, you say? I could be true if that is correct, judging by the sign that has a Napoleonic hat on it." Ruby answered. "Are you guys going to Paris? I wanna join in too!"
"Of course, you can!" Gaulois answered. "You can help us too! Whenever you are, please help us when necessary!" Ruby Gillam was delighted to hear those words. She then thanked Gaulois and Gaulois thanked her back. The crew then parted ways with Ruby and they were headed for Ajaccio. This place was the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, the French general whose nickname was "Sun King". Strolling through the streets, the crew heard followed the ghostly voice which they might think the French general has something to say. Through the seafront promenade and the local fresh markets by Route de Sanguinaires, until they went past Les Millelli with them stopping by the Maison Bonaparte. The crew entered the Maison Bonaparte, and they found a ghost of the great French general which spooked them a bit. Gaulois then went ahead and asked, "What more could you want from me?"
"Lo and behold, I am the spirit of Napoleon Bonaparte. Pleasure to meet you." Greeted the spirit. "And what brings you here, commoners? I have something to speak for that rooster; and you are his allies, I presume?"
The Greek spirit Genos then appeared. He was here to give Gaulois Le Bleu advice, after witnessing the Olympic Flame being lit before it travelled through French-speaking countries.
"Salutations, Gaulois. By using the voices of the French spirits, you have the opportunity to reflect on your journey. There is still a lot more to be done, before you are able to reach Paris."
"How am supposed to get to Paris if my enemies keep sneaking up on me like that?" asked Gaulois. " I can do better if they can just leave us alone, but they never seem to bother at all..."
"Just go a bit further on that journey until you will find something helpful to you. Your Japanese rabbit friend has done that similar situation while he was carrying the Olympic Flame to Tokyo previously, and I kept my watchful eyes on him. I have my fullest faith laid on you, Gaulois. Maybe you can replicate the heroic efforts your Japanese friend Ricky has shown before." replied Genos. "Right now, there are tests you must face before you can achieve something along the way, and I am sure you can overcome them despite the difficulties faced." Genos then pointed in the direction where they will be headed next, which is the Pyrenees region.
"Meet me at Auch, and we shall have you receiving something." Genos said. "Your Japanese rabbit friend already has his magical weapon and his has put it to good use before he started his journey to Tokyo, so I hope you will follow in that kind of footsteps." After that, Genos left with the spirit of Napoleon Bonaparte. The heroes then tried to leave, until they bumped into a hideous monster. It was a monstrous combination of animals, with pure ferocity and malice from Japanese video game bosses. The porcupine quills on its back are so lethal that they could kill if pierced or touched. The menacing snake head and tail were fearsome for our heroes that they might have nightmares involving that creature. The turtle legs may look stubby, but they have razor-sharp claws for hunting down its defenseless prey. The monster reared its savage head, and gave out a bellowing hiss.
"It's the Peluda! Run for your lives!" Gaulois shrieked with fright. the crew ran with their legs carrying them, with the Peluda roaring and pursuing them. Down the Gorges of Restonica and Tavignano they ran, the Peluda tried to attack them with its spikes on its back. Then through the Scandola Nature Reserve, the crew scurried through the trees and vegetation while the Peluda crashed through its path like a bulldozer. The tail tried to strike one of our heroes but to no avail, they have dodged them with perfect timing. The chase came to a close at the Desert des Agriates, while a trident struck the Peluda by its neck, killing it and saving our heroes at the nick of time. The crew turned around and saw a huge purple kraken. Ruby Gillman has given our heroes a hitch, and she has come to rescue them!
"Phew! Merci beaucoup, Ruby Gillman! You really helped us a lot! Thanks for saving our lives when we were almost destroyed by that weird-looking monster!" Gaulois thanked her.
"You're welcome!" Ruby Gillman replied. "I hope to learn some French from you too!" All of a sudden, they were cut short by a Chinese villain appearing on the scene. With her pink hair and marine-themed clothing worn regally, she made an entrance villainously.
"Behold, for I, Kokomi Sangonomiya will be ordering your execution by drowning. You dare sully the name of Watatsumi Island by killing that precious monster of mine I have summoned?"
"Wait, you summoned that monster?! That's not very nice of you!" Madeline spoke sternly. She knew that Kokomi was trying to hurt her and her dear friends.
"That monster was summoned by me so I could have you insignificant cretins eradicated." Kokomi smirked evilly. "You heroes aren't getting to the City of Lights because you will be dragged to your watery doom in the name of Watatsumi!"
"Oh boy, looks like we have another villain to fight…." Etno gulped. The crew were cornered by Kokomi, and now they had to fight her in order to advance to their next destination.
Boss – Kokomi Sangonomiya
Our heroes were almost outnumbered, with Kokomi using her water bubbles to trap some of them to render them helpless. Ruby Gillman was here, and thankfully with the channeling of her powers as a mighty Kraken warrior, she gave Asterix and Obelix a hitch by helping them pop the bubbles to free our heroes. Kokomi tried to attack our heroes, but Ruby Gillman, Obelix, Asterix and Gaulois teamed up together by dodging the bubbles, and thus landing punches in Kokomi's face. Ruby Gillman then did the finishing blow swatting her aside with her trident, sending Kokomi flying until she landed in fishing nets again, with the fishermen celebrating their next catch as they have caught larger fishes to fry for dinner.
"How could this be? I am supposed to be the royal queen of the sea, not fresh seafood for the markets! You impudent vermin! I will never forfeit and I will return to defeat you, forever!" Kokomi shouted in defeat.
After the battle, it was time for the heroes to leave for their next destination which was in Perpignan. "Merci, Ruby Gillman! You really helped us an awful lot! Do come to Paris if you want to!" Gaulois said before he left with his crew.
"Anytime guys!" Ruby replied as she waved our heroes goodbye. "Good luck, I will be meeting you guys again in Paris too!"
The crew are headed next towards their next destination in France, which was in Perpignan. Who knows what adventures await them, Ruby thought; She was willing to join them when necessary while preparing herself in the mood for the French capital of Paris.
Meanwhile in the hideout at Paris…..
Lila Rossi was nervously racking her fingers, her expectations were off the track again. Arfoire was fuming too, since she cannot bear the brunt of humiliation once again after losing to the rabbit on the way to Tokyo previously.
"Those heroes make us look pathetic! And they are getting away once again! How could this happen when we have such powerful villains who keep failing to stop them without ease?" Lila Rossi stormed furiously. Her plans did not go according to her expectations.
"Fret not, mistress. The exact location they are headed towards has villains we have summoned to destroy the for good. Their goose is cooked, because we have new villains coming up to exterminate for them for real!" smirked Chloe Bouergois.
