Bordeaux. Our heroes are headed for another wine and rugby capital with Paris on their sights, with the Olympic Flame in their hands. Firstly, they went to visit the Dune of Pilat. It was so high the entire crew felt like they have been transported to Egypt. In fact, that was the tallest sand dune in Europe. Next, they headed off to the Cite du Vin, the wine capital. This city center sold all kinds of wine from the vineyards from the finest ones in the southern region of France, which has made it popular among locals and international visitors alike. The Phryges caused a bit of trouble when they knocked over the bottles of wine, with an ensuing chase to retrieve the rolling wine bottles and barrels caused by their clumsiness that resulted in chain reactions. Spirou, Asterix, the Space Goofs along with Gaulois had to take care of the entire mess and Miguel warned the Phryges not to cause trouble again with their antics.
Later our heroes visited the Museum of Aquitaine, which provided more insights for the crew to learn about history of the region of Bordeaux through Roman times and the Renaissance. Our heroes then scoured through the Basilica of Saint Michael, where they got themselves a view of the entire city. The crew were amazed by the sights of the entire city, with Spirou taking several photos with Gaulois. Gaulois had felt delighted, those photos would be memorable for his scrapbook. Just then, Etno spotted something.
"Umm… guys? I think I sense danger from afar!" Etno has spotted something with his telescope. A bunch of new enemies, with red eyes and villainous attitudes are on the trail! They come in the form of kids with skateboards, cats and dogs. Mind-controlled they were, those villains are on a rampage to destroy Gaulois and the heroes once and for all!
"Enemies approaching! Gotta hurry and hide!" yelped Gaulois. The crew then ran off to search for safety and avoid getting caught by those new enemies on the hunt. Scrambling through the town and the Saint Andre Cathedral, our heroes have found shelter in the Tour Pey Berland, scurrying to the top to avoid any those villains. Lucky for them, the mind-controlled villains lost track of the heroes and went off in a separate direction.
"What is wrong with those guys? They look so friendly, but how could they harm us like that?" Candy asked.
"Let me explain this briefly." Getafix explained. "Those characters pursuing us are Talking Tom and his friends along with the Subway Surfers; Jake, Tricky and Fresh. Those are the characters that used to be good, but now they have become evil thanks to the Chinese Red Menace. The monstrous manipulators are QQ the Tencent Penguin and the Zhejiang Jinke the Peroxide Master; those devils have made them sell out their poor souls. Now let's get moving before they find us!"
With the villains left the area, our crew headed for their next destination in Bordeaux. The Darwin Ecosystem has made them relax for a bit since they needed to recharge to continue their journey to Paris. They snacked on Arcachon Bay oysters and Bordeaux lamprey whilst avoiding wine, just to avoid any complications while fighting off villains. After eating, they marched on to Place de la Bourse. Passing by the large reflecting pool of the Water Mirror, some of the heroes started to reflect on their journey so far. Gaulois was trying to think of the words that Genos told him, in a similar fashion to his Japanese rabbit friend who made it to Tokyo.
"Is anything wrong here?" Getafix asked. "I think I just found something."
"A message! What does it read?" Pepito asked
"You are cordially invited to a meal prepared by the finest Chinese chef, but you must go past the trail. I will be waiting at a certain theater!" read Etno. "That could lead us to clues, hopefully it will not be another villain luring us again!"
"Another villain? Keep your eyes peeled, those villains will launch an all-out attack if necessary!" Gaulois ordered. The heroes then set foot through the region of Bordeaux, with them going past the Port de la Lune and the Chartons neighbourhood until they reached the vineyards in the countryside. Most of the vineyards were badly burnt with our heroes trying to figure who did it. Spirou then found a sad farmer sobbing, and he went over to ask him.
"Why so sad? Is there anything wrong?" asked Spirou.
"Sorry folks, the entire view is ruined. Those baddies are a pain in the neck and they burned up our fields with relative ease!" replied the farmer.
"Where are they headed for?" asked Spirou, "We can help you teach that villain a lesson!"
"Those villains were headed towards the city center from what I can remember, where the Opera House is located."
"Fret not, sir. We will take care of that situation!" Spirou replied back.
Our heroes then continued to search for clues. Strolling past the Grand Hotel de Bordeaux and the Grand Theater de Bordeaux in the Old Center, the heroes then went over in the direction to the Bordeaux Opera House. They found their new villain preparing to raze with her fiery powers to commit arson.
"Over there! It was that villain!" Madeline shouted. The heroes proceeded until they caught the attention from their latest foe, freezing in their tracks.
"What's the matter, cock-a-doodle-doo? Cat got your tongue?" asked the villain in Chinese robes.
"Are you villains who razed the vineyards? Inexcusable! Don't you know that other people who enjoy wine would not like that as well?!" Gaulois replied back furiously.
"Allow me to introduce myself." replied the villain in Chinese robes. "Xiangling is the name to be exact, I razed those vineyards because those grapes taste bland and they will never make the best wines for cooking, so I will have to capture you for my dinner! You are up on my menu next, rooster! I will raze that Bordeaux Opera House to ashes and you aren't getting away with my plan to destroy Bordeaux!"
"I am? Just look at me, I am neither tender not tasty to you villains! Absolutely, I will never let you commit arson in that city I love dearly!" Gaulois replied.
"Who cares about that! We are gonna use all the stolen wine supplies to le the other villains enjoy whatever they want! Stand still so I can cook you for my dinner along with the villains, you feathered morning alarm! And you heroes surrender nicely, so that Olympic Flame will be ours." replied Xiangling evilly. The battle is on with the Bordeaux Opera House at stake.
Boss – Xiangling
Our crew had to fight off Xiangling while trying to protect the Bordeaux Opera House. Xiangling has tried to cook them alive, with our heroes dodging her attacks. The heroes tried their hardest, while Xiangling kept pressing on them with her fiery moves that were too hot to handle. Gaulois and Spirou then thought up a plan to defeat Xiangling and save the famed opera house from destruction. Rayman then realized something, he can use his hands to stop Xiangling and her rampage! He then went over to Gaulois and Spirou to strategize quickly before Xiangling burns their crew to ashes.
When Xiangling was about to finish off the Phryges, Rayman sent his hands flying, making one of his hands knock her down. Xiangling was then punched by another one of Rayman's hands in the gut, making her drop her giant frying pan. When Xiangling was about to grab her frying pan, Rayman's hands then pinned her down onto the ground. Gaulois, Obelix and Asterix drank the magic potions from Getafix and gained strength, lifting the giant frying pan along with the Marsupilami. They used the giant frying pan to whack Xiangling a few times until they sent her flying by hitting her hard.
"Your goose is cooked sooner, heroes! Someday I will make you my finest dinner on the menu!" Xiangling shouted in defeat before disappearing into the sky with a twinkle.
"Since the fight is over, what's next for us then?" asked Etno.
"To Angouleme, mon amis!" Gaulois replied. "We are going this way next!"
The crew along with the Olympic Flame they held went along with the Phryges to their next destination. Angouleme is next for our heroes, and they have found another place to visit before they head off to Paris.
Meanwhile in the hideout in Paris…..
"Another failure again? No roasted rooster on the menu…. Sacre bleu to that villain who has done an even worse job." Said the Afro haired woman.
"Mistress Belle Bottom, we have tracked down the heroes." Lila Rossi came in with an announcement. "The Subway Surfers and Talking Tom gang failed their assignments so badly, so I have to send in the next villains to eradicate them for real."
"Very well…." Belle Bottom smirked. "Those heroes are having their days numbered and they soon will meet their doom! They are going to need more than that to survive!"
