Angers. Our heroes were having their emotions running high after intense battles against villains who attempted to impede them on their way to Paris, with the Olympic Flame safe in their hands. With Inspector Gadget in their group, extra caution was added in order to detect any villains who try to destroy the heroes. They first strolled through the Doutre District which was full of historic buildings and old-fashioned streets. Through the Ronceray Abbey, the beautiful flowers decorated on each house greeted the visitors while staying put in their flowerpots with pure beauty. The crew tried to find some food to eat for breakfast while trying to avoid having the Phryges get into all sorts of trouble.
Next, our heroes went through the Chateau du Brissac, the tallest building in the Loire Valley. The Phryges were so immersed in the building that they almost touched the statues which prompted the heroes to warn them of consequences that will happen if they disobey the rules. Big Nose was wearing a trench coat in disguise whilst spying on the crew to find new ideas for his schemes to destroy. He then came up with an idea, and he put it into action when they leave a certain place.
Later, the heroes visited the Angers Castle, which provided them the entire view of the city. The crew looked for any villains who were out to destroy them first before heading off to their next destination. While exiting, Big Nose saw this opportunity. He had his trap set up straight for capturing the heroes, with a huge cage above the items he prepared. Below the cage were food and other items that the heroes consider their favorites.
Gaulois and the crew were walking until they noticed something. Corn and other types of food were scattered, letting Gaulois have his hungry instincts take over. The Phryges, Gaulois and Obelix started eating while not minding the trap. Spirou and Madeline noticed the cage and shouted at them while Big Nose was about to launch the cage.
"Look out!" Spirou shouted. "It's a trap!"
Big Nose was shocked, he had to do something so he came out and gestured them to come over there and eat; with the cage suddenly falling on him. His plan had backfired on him, and he threw a tantrum over the failure of his cunning plan.
"Nice going, genius. Using perfume to lure your enemies right into our trap? Such incompetence that will lead to! I have better strategy than you, so follow my lead!" Scaramouche mocked. Big nose had no choice but to follow, which can be said the same for his bumbling dog. They headed of to another direction in the area of Angers, most likely be another attraction the heroes will visit later.
At the Espace Air Passion Aviation Museum, the crew admired the light aircraft and its significance to society as a whole. The vintage planes of the past were still admired as of today, with simple yet iconic designs made the cut have impressed others due to their simplicity. While exiting, the heroes were not minding the presence of any villains who attempt to destroy them with their latest schemes.
"Where can we head to our next destination in France next?" asked Gaulois.
"It is…" Asterix was about to reply while suddenly, villains appeared before them. It was a white man along with his dog being led by a Chinese villain wearing a large hat.
"Going so soon, no-flyers?" Scaramouche mocked. "Looks like you will be going down on a low note tonight!" Big Nose nodded in agreement, ready to strike.
"The name is Scaramouche here, and you aren't going anywhere in France if you don't relinquish the Olympic Flame for me to extinguish!" He then turned around and saw what he did not like the most. Big Nose and his dog were busy arguing, which made Scaramouche mad with rage that his subordinates were not working closely with him.
"Stop loafing around, you two!" Scaramouche reprimanded, Big Nose and his dog were shook and they stood firm. "Do you know that quarreling means that you dare to insult my dignity?!" Scaramouche fumed.
Boss – Scaramouche and Big Nose
The planes came to life, with weapons ready to aim bullets at the heroes. Big Nose had his device activated with his cunning yet brilliant invention, with Scaramouche ready to show his skills.
"That device was programmed to destroy you with its execution, with my skills that will definitely wipe out the bothersome lot of you!" Scaramouche added. "Tremble before me, losers! You will never protect the precious Olympic Flame!"
The crew bravely dodges every attack made by the planes, with Scaramouche advancing at every corner and knocking out some of the heroes. The crew had a hard time finding an opening, since Scaramouche was a cunning villain to begin with.
"We have inserted every controller that makes the planes obey their command, and there is absolutely no way you will never try to destroy those planes! Let's see how you fare against me, weaklings!" Scaramouche laughed wickedly.
Inspector Gadget knew what to do. He then shouted, "Go go gadget, detector!" A detector then came out from his robotic arm, detecting something. A remote controller was making the planes attack the crew, and Big Nose was the one who owns it! Boule, Bill, Marsupilami, Asterix and Pepito had an idea. They laid down low and sneaked their way to the super advanced remote controller, with Boule and Bill knocking out Big Nose and his dog unconscious with mallets and baseball bats. Pepito and the Marsupilami then quickly destroyed the super advanced remote controller, causing it to malfunction and explode via its self-destruct protocol. The super advanced remote controller was destroyed, causing the planes to drop down.
Scaramouche was then surrounded by the glares of the angry heroes, and the Marsupilami whacked his head with a mallet. Scaramouche was then tied to a huge rocket firework with Big Nose and his dog, with the fuse being lit by Pepito and sending them skyrocketing.
"Curse you heroes! When our bosses hear about that, you are going to be finished for real! We hate those heroes, hats and rooster!" Scaramouche shouted in defeat while he was skyrocketed into the air by the huge rocket firework.
Laval is next for our heroes, with them having protected the Olympic Flame and ready to go. A new adventure awaits them here in Laval, with villains that might come and destroy them…
Meanwhile in the lair in Paris….
"Good commander but with weak execution and incompetent minions. That is all what I can say for that plan, and how are we going to stop those heroes before they reach Paris?!" Belle Bottom fumed.
"Patience, mistress. The next batch will be more competent in destroying them. Less meddling, more destroying. Those heroes will learn a lesson for what it takes to meddle with us villains!" Captain Chantal Dubois replied.
