Lille
Our heroes arrived here along with the Phryges, and the Olympic Flamed sealed safely inside the lantern which made it flicker. They arrived at the main town square of Lille, which was the Place du Général de Gaulle. This distinctively Flemish city has lots of experiences to offer for them and probably a pathway to Paris.
Firstly, our heroes were headed for the Eglise Saint-Maurice. It was a marvel to behold, sinvce they admired French art so much. Next, they strolled through the Musée de l'Hospice Comtesse, which was once a hospital with nuns in medieval ages. It is now a museum that hosts arts with a Flemish flair, giving insights into Flemish culture. Passing by the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de la Treille, they went through the Lille Flea Market where they can find supplies aplenty. Pepito seized the opportunity along with the Phryges, buying items that would come in handy whenever villains attack.
At the Maison Natale Charles de Gaulle, the heroes explored the entire house. They were admiring the antique décor until an apparition appeared again, ready to motivate Gaulois on something.
"Lo and behold, I am the spirit of Charles de Gaulle. What brings you here on the journey to Paris?" asked the apparition.
"We are almost reaching Paris with the Olympic Flame, and it was all thanks to my friends who helped me along the way. Those villains never gave up on me, and they almost had me on the dinner plate! Is there any advice I should seek for motivation?" replied Gaulois.
"Well, considering that you heroes have made greater accomplishments, There is something I would like to advise you on. Liberty, fraternity, you guys should remember that when all liberties are lost, you can realize that how much freedom means to you. The most important thing is that yous should be more cohesive and stay together regardless of what you are! Learning to respect one another is key to success in the most necessary way!" Charles de Gaulle advised Gaulois. After that, he vanished and left the heroes to ponder on what they would be able to do next.
Strolling past the Rang du Beauregar, the heroes felt tired but pleasant, just before they could call it a day, a muscular man wearing a macho suit made a crashing entrance, preparing to destroy them.
"El Macho is what you will call me, and this time; you are gonna get crushed under my overwhelming strength!" said the muscular Mexican man.
"You definitely look weak even if you look strong, because you are not smart and do not have the heart to care at all!" Brainy Smurf mocked.
"Nobody calls me weak!" El Macho was enraged by this, stunning the heroes. They had no choice but to fight him.
Boss – El Macho
"Somebody's going down tonight…." El Macho exclaimed. He then drank the PX-41 potion, which made him turn into a hulking purple monster. He attacked the heroes with his strength brutally, injuring the Phryges and the heroes. The heroes tried to fight him off, but his brute strength outmatched them without any difficulties.
Looking at the situation, Pepito told Madeline, Gaulois and a few Phryges to come over to his hiding spot. He had an idea to defeat El Macho with his good old bag of tricks!
"I have a plan to defeat this baddie!" Pepito whispered. "They can be like a lucky charm!"
Pepito looked into his ladybug-pattern bag of tricks, which found him something. It was an electrocuting device, which confused Gaulois and Madeline.
"A taser? How is that supposed to work? You'll get crushed into tiny pieces!" Gaulois asked.
"Gaulois, Madeline, I have a plan. Follow my lead so we can defeat him!" Pepito urged.
When El Macho was busy attacking the heroes and injuring them, Gaulois, Madeline and a few Phryges then taunted him and called him names like "Monkey-brain! Dodo-head! El Stinko! You can't catch us all!"
El Macho was so mad that he charged towards them. Pepito seized the opportunity and used the taser on El Macho, electrocuting him. It was just the right time before El Macho could smash Gaulois, Madeline and the Phryges. When El Macho tried to get up, he was then hit by the boxing glove guns used by Oggy and Jack, causing him to slump onto the ground. When El Macho got up again, he was surrounded by the heroes and the Phryges ready to take him down confidently.
"I am not afraid of your weapons like boxing glove guns…!" El Macho said in a weakened tone.
"Oh, that isn't a boxing glove or anything, amigo! Try this one for size!" Pepito took a fart gun and aimed at El Macho's face. El Macho was then shot by the fart gun, causing him to faint from the fart and apprehended inside a cage by the police.
"Happy trails, donkey-brain!" taunted Madeline. Pepito smiled. Maybe it was useful to shop for any items to stop the villains after all; even if you are the prankster apprentice.
Lens is next for our heroes to explore, they have been approaching Paris day by day with perseverance. However, with more villains upping their game, they have to keep up the pace or risk perishing before they reach Paris, the City of Lights.
