A/N

As most of you must know from reading The Son of Thor, I wasn't able to write for so long because I just lost two loved ones. But, now I am back in action, determined to bring this chapter out for you as fast as possible.

Also, this chapter makes us cross 50k words in just the four chapters. Something I am immensely proud of. Though I plan to make this fic as long as possible, without making it boring, that is. The current target is 500k words. But more on that later.

Do join my server on discord. There you'll find the latest themes and other content related to the stories I am writing. Also, I try to provide graphic visualization for the stories there. The link is :

It is also present on my profile.

Congratulations to perseus18 for guessing the identity of the mysterious being correctly. You get a spoiler, or another gift. You can make me write a scene you want to see in the story, as long as it doesn't disturb the story. But please don't announce your guess in the comments. Let it be a mystery for the readers please.

Another reminder for you guys. This story features a rather cold and ruthless Percy. So, expect some brutal deaths and other stuff. The scene where Percy licks Hyperion's blood is an example of this. I had already informed you guys that this story isn't for the weak willed people, so, read at your own risk. (Not that anything I say is going to stop you from reading this. XD)

Also, fair warning. This chapter contains blood and gore along with some ruthless killing and beating. Also the use of explicit language that is not suitable for kids under the age of fourteen to Read. Read at your own risk. Nothing explicit though.

Also, sorry, but I won't be addressing the reviews in this chapter. This is already too long. Maybe next time I will do it finally.

Anyway, let us start today's badassery without any further delays or distractions.

Last Time :

Turning her head slightly, she saw him gazing straight ahead, but eventually glancing at her for a few seconds. After a few seconds, the son of Poseidon spoke, "I know that this is not the right time for this, but I need to get this off my chest. Hff. Here it goes. So, I don't know whether we will survive this final fight. Heck, I am supposed to die fighting Kronos. But, I just want to tell you that I love you. More than your could ever know. Maybe more than even I know. Also, one confession to make, Wise Girl. When I was bathing in the Styx, Achilles told me that I needed someone to bind me to my mortal side. And I hope you know who it was that bound me to the mortal plane."

Annabeth's eyes widened in surprise and her voice choked in her throat. The emotions brewing inside her were threatening to blow out, and it took all of her power to keep them under control. "M..me?" She asked softly, with a hint of giddiness and hope present in her voice.

Percy nodded. "Yes, you. It has always been you."

Annabeth didn't know what to say to this. All her life, none of her loved ones had stayed with her. First, her dad had abandoned her. Then came Luke, who betrayed her. Next was Thalia, as she chose the hunters.

Percy was the only one who had always stayed with her through thick and thin. So, while she was generally afraid of loving people, she was completely sure that loving Percy was the best thing that had happened in her life. She knew that the ever loyal son of Poseidon would never abandon her.

"I love you too, Percy. I have loved you for a fucking year, but your seaweed filled brain never realized. Honestly, while that was endearing, it was also annoying. Glad to see that you have become less oblivious now." Annabeth spoke, groaning in the end.

Percy smirked and decided to poke fun at her. "Oh. I wasn't that oblivious when I brought you to those mind-blowing orgasms yesterday night, right? How many times was it, four? Or five? Yepp. Definitely five." The son of Poseidon laughed when he saw the crimson red blush adorning his lover's cheeks.

Annabeth bit her lip to push away the blush from her cheeks. Gritting her teeth in flustered annoyance, she spoke, "While I would love to talk about the sex we had yesterday night, this is not the time Percy. For now, let's concentrate on saving our parents' asses. We can have these talks later on, Seaweed brain." She spoke humorously.

Percy chuckled in amusement and spoke, "Yepp. That's the Wise Girl I know and love."

The two demigods reached the elevator to the Empire State building, where Thalia and Grover were already waiting for them. The four heroes of Olympus looked at each other and nodded in sync.

A silent, unspoken message was passed through their eyes, accepted by the others.

"The time has come. Let's do it."

Saying so, the four heroes got into the elevator and pressed the button for the six hundredth floor.

Present Time :

Percy POV :

A sharp gasp escaped my lips as my eyes widened in shock and pain. Looking forward, I saw the maniacal grin present on Luke Castellan's, or in this case, Kronos' face. "What did I say, Perseus? I am not the Crooked one just because people call me that. No, I earned that nickname. Now you see how I did that, right?" Kronos asked me in a taunting voice, while reaching out with the blunt end of his scythe and hitting me on the shoulder. Unable to keep my balance, I fell straight to the ground on my knees, my head dropping downwards as I saw the cold embrace of death approach me for the millionth time in the same day.

Struggling to keep my eyes open, I could barely make out the blade protruding out of my stomach. It had been stabbed right through the small of my back, and the force had been enough to tear right through the flesh and emerge out of my front side

Using all of my willpower to focus, I saw the blade that was peeking out of my stomach. The recognition of the blade brought tears to my eyes. My throat felt scorched, unable to make any noise other than one more choked gasp. Ah! the irony. Like every cliché movie, I would be dying by being stabbed through the back by the weapon of the woman I love.

Yes, the blade peeking out of my stomach was none other than Annabeth's dagger. The one that had been a gift to her from Luke fucking Castellan.

Oh wait. I just figured that I got ahead of myself in the story. To properly understand the events I just described, we will have to go back about two hours in the past and relive the experience. So, see ya there.

Time : Two hours earlier

Still Percy POV

The elevator ride to Olympus was absolutely agonizing, what with Annabeth tapping her foot on the floor anxiously, Grover nervously bleating at uneven intervals. Thalia wasn't helping matters at all, as she subconsciously let out electric impulses that struck us, making me lose the feeling of my fingers after the first few shocks.

Groaning, I turned around and grabbed her by the shoulders. Making her look me in the eye, I spoke, "Come on pinecone princess. This isn't you. The Thalia I know is so full of confidence that she lifts the spirit of everyone in the room. Not this nervous girl who is shocking us every now and then. So, woman up and straighten your shoulders. There is a Titan that needs killing."

The daughter of Zeus looked stunned at my words, but ultimately regained her bearings. Her eyes hardened and got the confident and cocky look that they usually had in them. Her grip on her bow tightened, causing her knuckles to turn white.

Letting a teasing smirk make its way to her face, she spoke in a humorous tone, "Damm Kelpie. I knew you were good at encouraging, but that was completely amazing. No wonder you scored the hottest Athena chick in camp." The last sentence was spoken by Thalia while winking at Annabeth.

The daughter of Athena blushed before flipping Thalia off, a gesture that was reciprocated by the daughter of Zeus. I couldn't help but chuckle at how even utterly nervous, Thalia managed to tease Annabeth and annoy her. They were definitely more than best friends. They were sisters.

Speaking of best friends, I turned my attention to the fourth person in the elevator. Grover Underwood, my best friend for the last four years, looked the most nervous. I could understand why he would be afraid, he wasn't as good as a fighter as the three of us. If Kronos attacked him, there was no chance for Grover to survive.

But what troubled me even more was the expression on his face right now. In the last five years, I have become immensely experienced at studying people's expressions. After all, surviving with a demigod scent as strong as mine is hard as hell.

The expression on Grover's face wasn't what I had expected at all. Instead of the nervousness and fear that I was expecting to see, his face held self-hatred and a strange resolution. An expression that people who hated themselves had.

"Grover. Dude, what's the matter?" I asked him, worried about him. I had a sinking suspicion that he hated himself and blamed himself for the death of the satyrs and nature spirits fighting in this war. Being the successor of Pan, it was obvious that Grover wanted to preserve wildlife and see it thrive. But even I knew that more than hundred nature spirits had died in this war.

Grover was utterly shocked when he heard me asking him the question. He started to sweat uneasily and stuttered out, "Ohh. Nothing. Absolutely nothing, Perce. No need to worry. I'm fine. Really."

I placed a hand on his shoulder. Standing at six feet two, I towered over Grover's five feet seven height. "Hey. I get it. You blame yourself for the death of all those poor nature spirits and satyrs. Listen to me Grover. You are the best, bravest leader that the satyrs have. Dare I say, even better than Pan. The fact that you blame yourself for their deaths just proves my point. But you can't blame yourself. They made their choice to die noble deaths. They died protecting their homelands. They died protecting their loved ones. Don't take their sacrifice away by blaming yourself and belittling their deaths. Look forward and make their sacrifices worth it."

A few tears leaked out of Grover's eyes as I gave him a small smile and encouraging nod.

As I turned around, I failed to see that his expression hadn't changed at all.

Turning to the last person in the lift, I let a genuine, full blown smile crawl it's way to my lips. Moving towards her, I grabbed her waist and pulled her in for a passionate kiss. Feeling her warm, soft lips on mine, hearing her moan in my mouth, sent away all my worries and fears for the moment. I let myself dissolve in her embrace as I pulled her as close as I could.

I could hear Thalia groaning something about public displays of affection and me spoiling her little Annie, but we ignored her, completely lost in the feel of the other's lips on our own.

After what seemed like eternity, but was only a few seconds, I pulled back. Looking at those stormy grey eyes, the words automatically escaped my lips, "I love you."

I could hear two gasps from behind me, but I kept my attention on Annabeth. Much to my pleasure, she smiled and replied, "Love you too, seaweed brain."

The ding sound of the elevator pulled me back to reality as I detached myself from Annabeth's arms. Stepping at the head of the elevator, I pulled out my ball point pen and uncapped it. My trusty sword sprung out to its original size. Gripping it tightly, I tilted my head backwards and nodded my head slightly.

Annabeth, Thalia and Grover understood the signal and immediately pulled out their weapons. Turning my attention back to the elevator door, I tilted my neck to the side, popping it. Rotating my shoulders, I could hear the popping sound from my back. Even after being healed by the omnipresent being, my body was still a bit sore. But that was to be expected. I had literally been beaten to pulp by the Titan General.

Closing my eyes, I opened them again to display the dark green orbs that promised pain and destruction. For this next fight with Kronos, good hearted Percy Jackson was not the perfect candidate. The Commander was what was needed. And The Commander was what Kronos would get.

The elevator doors opened slowly, giving me the time to take a deep breath and get into my battle stance. As soon as the doors opened completely, the four of us darted outside, scanning all of Olympus for any sight of Kronos or Ethan Nakamura. Oh. How I wish I could catch that piece of shit. Ethan Nakamura, the backstabbing son of Nemesis was going to die. He was going to die a horrible death.

Not letting the stupid anger cloud my judgement, I turned from see if any of my comrades had seen something. As soon as I saw the pathway that lead to the throne room of Olympus, I cursed myself. The path was completely obliterated, with no means for us to cross it. There was a gaping thirty feet long hole present in the path. Falling down meant a death by brunt force trauma by splattering onto the hard concrete footpaths of Manhattan.

Of course Kronos would go for the fucking thrones. Destroy the Gods' thrones, weaken them to minor god level. And even a ten year old could tell that Kronos could wipe out a hundred minor gods by himself, without much effort. Kronos had been right about something. He was trying to finish the war quick, by delivering this heavy blow to the Olympians. Not to forget, destroying the thrones would also mean Poseidon weakening, and thus losing Atlantis to Oceanus. That wouldn't be good. Oh, who am I kidding? That would be extremely horrible.

Kicking a piece of broken pavement beside me, I cursed, "Fuck! How in Dad's name are we supposed to cross that god-damned thirty feet long hole?"

The answer came in form of a risky idea from….yeah you guessed it, Annabeth Chase.

"Thalia can manipulate the winds to carry us to that side of the hole. She is a daughter of the sky god, for… well Zeus' sake."

We all turned our gaze towards Thalia, who looked like a deer caught in highlights. Her eyes widened and she started to laugh nervously. "Me!? Mee? Oh no. No no no no no. Absolutely not. You know that I am afraid of heights, right? I can't do it. Sorry." The daughter of Zeus barely managed to get out in between her stuttering and nervous laughter.

Before I could speak up, Annabeth walked up to Thalia and punched her hard in the shoulder. "Oh. Come on, Thals. Don't be a wuss. We know you can do it and trust you. It's time you overcome your fear and trust yourself. See, Grover here overcame his fear when he travelled into the labyrinth with us last year. Now it's your chance."

I could just watch with my eyes wide open at how well she took the leader role, acting in charge without any nervousness. Honestly, it turned me on a bit, but I slapped myself before any other thoughts could pop into that already distracted brain of mine. Now was not the time to think about her.

Turning my attention back to Annabeth and Thalia, I saw Thalia scrunching her eyebrows, obviously thinking about what she should do. Before long, her eyes lit up with determination and she stood straighter. Clenching her fists, she spoke, "Okay. Let's do this. I still have to kick Luke as hard in the face as I can for all this. And I can't do that till I reach him."

Turning to Athena, Thalia signalled for her to come forward. Annabeth complied with her request and stepped forward, stopping beside Thalia. They turned to each other and nodded. The next moment, Annabeth ran at the hole and jumped straight into it.

"Annabeth!" I roared in horror and started to run towards the hole, ready to jump after her in order to try and save her. But, I stopped abruptly as I saw her emerge out of the hole, the winds supporting her. She slowly floated to the other end of the broken path, where she climbed on the path and sat there, waiting for us.

Next went Grover, as Thalia controlled the winds for him too. Finally, it was me and Thalia, when she spoke, "Kelpie, carry me please. I don't think I'll be able to do it alone. Just looking down would make me lose my concentration.

I smiled at her and nodded. "Hey. Forever got your back, remember? Of course I'll carry you." I went to pick her up bridal style, but she shook her head and climbed onto my back.

"Huntress of Artemis here, Perce. Can't get cozy with dirty males, right?" She asked me in a mock innocent tone. "Also, come on. I'm way out of your league and you know that." She joked again, this time making me laugh too.

"Oh yeah. The shirtless picture of mine in your cabin bunk doesn't actually agree with your words, Thals." I shot back jokingly. Annabeth had told me today in the morning about how almost all single girls at camp lusted after me and kept dropping hints here and there. But me being me, I completely ignored them because of my obliviousness.

Come to think of it, Drew Tanaka and Katie Gardener not wearing bras on purpose while sparring against me did seem weird. Oh, not to forget how all Aphrodite girls seemed to know the exact timings at which I would go to the beach to take a swim. Huh. I knew that Rachel running her hands over my chest was not something people normally did to their friends. Oh, and using me as a model for her paintings, shirtless. Heh. What can I say? I am oblivious to everything.

I swear I hadn't seen Thalia blush so hard in the previous three years I had known her.

"S..shut up Kelpie. I.. I use that picture for.. throwing darts. Yeah that's it. I use it to as a target to throw darts at."

Smirking at her deviously, I spoke in an over exaggerated innocent tone, "Yeah. I believe you. I totally believe you."

The next moment, I felt a shock travel through my body and shuddered at the feeling. Turning my gaze to Thalia, I gave her a glare before speaking, "Well, that's enough wasting time. We need to get going, Pinecone princess. So, come on, give me wings."

Saying so, I ran forward and jumped as far as I could. I would like to say that we didn't need Thalia's help because I magically jumped the thirty feet, but that would be lying. And we all know that I don't lie. Honestly, my jump took us about fifteen feet, which was more than what any professional athletes could do even with a running start. As we ran out of power from the jump, I felt Thalia's body cackle with electricity, before the wind around us started to mold around my body, forming a layer against it. The air layer started to carry us towards the other side.

I did my best to keep Thalia at an angle that would make it impossible for her to look below us. Fortunately for us, I was successful as she did not lose her concentration even once.

We safely managed to reach the other side, where Thalia immediately jumped off my back. I walked forward and faced Annabeth. "What the hell were you thinking? Jumping like a lunatic, not even sure if Thals could do it. That was extremely reckless of you." I asked her, angry at the fact that she had been so reckless.

She just smiled at me softly, making me confused and annoyed at the lack of an apology or explanation. That is when it hit me. This must have been what she felt everytime I did something similarly reckless and stupid.

Letting go of my glare, I pulled her in for a hug and spoke, "I get it. Yeah. I'm sorry Beth. I get it now."

Pulling back, I turned back to the group. "Come on guys, giddy up."

I sprinted towards the throne room, with the three of them following me. As we ran, I could see the damage and destruction that Kronos had left in his way to the throne room. Each and every temple and shrine dedicated to the gods was utterly destroyed, completely torn down. Brick by brick, Kronos had promised us. And looking around me, I could see that the Titan Lord was keeping his promise.

I heard the noise of teeth grinding and saw Thalia staring at a destroyed silver shrine. By the colour, I figured that it belonged to Lady Artemis. That would explain why Thalia was so angry. Lady Artemis was her patron after all.

"Don't worry. You will have your revenge

For now, let's keep moving towards the throne room." I spoke, to which she agreed and we again started to sprint towards the throne room.

Just as we were a hundred metres from the throne room, I heard a creaking noise. The sudden feeling of someone walking on my grave filled me, the same feeling I had when Ethan Nakamura had first stabbed Annabeth. Turning around, I saw a huge statue of Hera about fo fall on Annabeth. The daughter of Athena wasn't paying attention to it, and calling her name to alert her would take too long.

I was about to jump and try to push her away from her spot, but I knew that I would never reach her in time. That is when I heard a scream from Thalia. Being a hunter, Thalia had thankfully heard the creaking noise of the statue, and thus had seen that it was going to fall on Annabeth. Being the closest to Annabeth's position, she jumped and tackled the daughter of Athena, throwing my girlfriend out of the statue's crashing zone.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that Annabeth was safely out of the death's claws. But this relief immediately turned to shock and horror when I heard Thalia scream out in pain and agony. Immediately dashing forward, I reached the area to see Thalia alive and mostly safe, except that her left leg was trapped under the statue, and judging by her expression, it was causing her a lot of pain.

"Hang on Thals. I will try to lift it just enough to get you out from under it. Just give me a moment." I spoke as I bent down to pick up the statue.

"No! No, you idiot. Don't touch the fucking statue. Even a slight movement will send me falling down from Olympus to the streets below. The foundation is already extremely weak. One slight movement, and it all goes tumbling. Leave me and go. You need to stop that asshole. I'll be fine here." Thalia spoke, her voice cracking occasionally due to the obvious pain that she was in.

"You, you sure Thals? I don't want to leave you here." I asked uncertainty, not at all wanting to leave her here, but also knowing that she made a good point.

Grover spoke up at this moment, "I will stay with her. You guys go and take on Kronos. I will try to get some help here."

Thalia and Annabeth nodded in agreement to this suggestion. Seeing no flaw in it, I nodded my head. "That's great. Come on then, Wise girl. We have a Titan to kill."

Before I could turn, I heard Thalia call my name. Turning my focus to her, I saw her give me a small, pained smirk, before she spoke,

"Kick him as hard as you can for me, will you?"

I returned the smirk and spoke, "The lady's wish shall be complied with. No complain from me. See you in a few minutes, Thals. Godspeed."

"Godspeed, Kelpie." She replied and closed her eyes, obviously trying to distract herself from the pain.

Grabbing Annabeth's arm, I turned her around and spoke, "Let's get going, baby. This may be the last thing I say to you, and I want it to be awesome. So, here it goes. Annabeth, …..Wise Girl,... ………………. You drooled in your sleep yesterday night."

Her face turned to one of confusion and indignation for a moment, before she understood the context behind my words. They resembled the very first words she had said to me. She smiled at the fact that I remembered it and pulled me in for a chaste kiss.

Pulling back, she spoke, "Love you too, Seaweed brain."

Facing the direction of the throne room, we started to sprint as fast as we could. When we were about twenty feet away from the throne room, I felt my reflexes act at inhumane speeds, and immediately leaned sidewards. The next moment, an arrow flew from behind me and hit me in the side. If I hadn't moved, it would definitely have hit me in my Achilles heel, killing me.

There was only one person who knew about my Achilles heel to hit me specifically in that spot. But, that person was currently standing beside me, fussing over the arrow hitting so close to my mortal point.

Unless…. . Turning around, my doubts were confirmed when I saw the one-eyed face that I hated more than anything else. Ethan Nakamura had figured out my mortal point. This meant that now, even Kronos knew where to strike me to kill me. Not thinking about that at the moment, I kept glaring at Ethan.

"Nakamura" I spoke scathingly, venom dripping from my words. The moment I get my hands on this asshole, I swear…

The one-eyed backstabber had the audacity to laugh. "Oh come on Jackson. Don't be such a buzzkill."

"Yeah. Kill sounds about right, because that's what I'm going to do to you, you fucking disgrace." I spat back at him, clutching Riptide as hard as I could.

His facial expressions immediately hardened as he spoke coldly, "I had told you, Jackson. There is no place for mercy or sympathy in this war. I did what I had to do, and I don't regret it one bit. Also, it's not like you didn't do any damage. You broke my bloody nose" He touched his nose and flinched while speaking the last line.

"You stab my girlfriend, kill my parents, and are about to help the biggest psychopath of all time destroy the world. And I'm the villain because I broke your bloody nose?? Ohh. Ethan Nakamura. I pity what has become of you. I really do." I spoke in utter disgust.

"Enough chit chat, Jackson. The lord has asked me to bring him your head, so that is what I will do. Oh. And you might want to send your little girlfriend away, lest she get herself stabbed like last time. Wouldn't want her to leave you just like your parents did, right?" Ethan sneered, before mocking Annabeth and my parents.

The hot, bubbling rage that had been brewing underneath my mind finally burst open at hearing those words. Before I knew it, I was upon Ethan, slashing and hacking with my sword. Being the decent swordsman that he was, Ethan managed to deflect or dodge my blows, keeping himself safe for the moment.

But we both knew that it was only a matter of minutes before I overpowered, or outclassed him. He was struggling to block my current blows, and I could sense the power behind my blows increasing with every few seconds.

Keeping the relentless assault of attacks on him, I didn't give him even a moment's relief to catch his breath.

After a few moments, I could see that he was desperately trying to block my sword strikes, leaving the lower part of his chest open to attacks. Extending another strike to his head, I waited for his sword to rise to his head.

Without wasting a single moment, I raised my leg and Sparta kicked the son of Nemesis, sending him tumbling backwards.

Ethan fell to the floor, but immediately started to stand up.

Moving way faster than him, I reached the place he was at and grabbed his neck. Picking him up in the air, I started to squeeze his throat slowly, taking great enjoyment in the sight of him struggling to get air in his lungs. His face started to twist to fear and absolute desperation as he clawed at my arm, trying to get out of my grip.

Just as he was about to give up and fall unconscious, I released the grip and dropped him to the ground. He immediately clasped his throat, massaging it while coughing frantically. Taking in as much air as he could in his mouth, he refused to meet my eyes.

"Doesn't feel good, does it? Seeing death approach you, yet not being able to do anything to stop it, to get away from it. Well, guess what. That was exactly what my mother and step-father felt when you handed them to the Titans. Along with the many demigod lives, you should know that you also have the blood of two innocent mortals on your hands."

I spoke in a cold voice, not expecting a reply from him, but still wanting to see his reaction.

I was surprised to see a very slight tinge of remorse in his eyes when I mentioned my mother, but it was gone as soon as it had come.

"If..if you a..are trying t..to make me ff..feel remorse, you are m.. mistaken, Jackson. I d..don't regret w..what I did. It had to be done." He spoke, still trying to regain his breath. His voice held a firm belief that what he had done was right, something that angered me beyond limits.

"Was it? Did it have to be done for the greater good, or for your master? Hmm?" I asked him seriously, with my disgust for the demigod in front of me clearly shining through my eyes and words.

"N..no. I know you are trying to confuse me. I won't fall for that, Jackson. What I did was done for the greater good. As I said, you can't change my mind, son of Poseidon. Not now, not ever." He spoke, but I could see the doubt and regret shining from his eyes. Well, too late for that.

The next moment, I heard Ethan scream in pain as my sword stabbed him straight through his right thigh. The blade went straight through his leg tearing the muscles and the skin.

Before he could fully comprehend the pain, I ripped the sword out of his thigh and stabbed it through his left leg similarly. Tears flowed down his cheeks like a waterfall as he clutched both his legs, frantically trying to stop the bleeding. Usually, the small, sensible part of my brain would try to stop me from performing such barbaric acts, but this time, it kept shut, knowing that this bastard deserved what he was getting.

"M.. mercy. Please spare me, Perseus. I promise that Kronos made me do it. He...he said that he would not kill any demigods or mortals. Please leave me, don't kill me." Ethan started to beg for mercy, all the while crying and whimpering at the pain in his legs.

Bending down, I spoke coldly, "Firstly, it was you who said that there is no place for mercy in this war. About Kronos ordering you, that is clearly a load of bullshit. You killed those demigods and mortals out of your own volition. Kronos might have persuaded you, but the choice was ultimately yours to make. Lastly, the last time I saved you, you betrayed us and brought Kronos back to life. So, forgive me if I don't trust or believe you."

After a moment, I continued, "You see Ethan, what I hate more than anything in this world, is a liar, a charlatan. Someone who doesn't believe in what he says. And being the leader of the demigods, I find it necessary to rid this world from a disgusting, backstabbing piece of garbage like you."

"No, no please no. Don't kill me. I will do anything you want. I swear I will never betray you again. Just please don't kill me." He pleaded, more like begged me as he bent down and touched his head to the ground, grabbing my feet with his hands.

A swift swing of Riptide left Ethan Nakamura screaming again as he stared in shock and horror at the bloody stumps of both of his hands, cut off right at the palms.

Bending down, I spoke again, "Hmm. I see what this is about. You have realized where you are going after death, right? I bet Alecto will be extremely happy to see you in the Fields of Punishment, considering that you invaded he'd territory the last time you were in the Underworld. The Furies might be waiting for you down there. Well, who am I to keep their new playtoy away from them? So, off you go, Nakamura."

The last thing he did was put up his bloody stumps to block the blow from my sword. Riptide chopped clean through the stumps, before slicing through the demigod's neck, beheading him brutally.

Tearing a piece of Ethan's shirt, I used it to wipe the blood from my sword, arms and shoes.

That is when a thought struck me. A vile being like Ethan didn't deserve to be dead on Olympus. He didn't deserve it at all. Thinking of something, I turned around to see Annabeth standing a good distance behind me.

Taking a deep breath, I raised Riptide as high as I could, before bringing it down in a perfect arc. As soon as the blade hit the ground, a thunderous boom shook the pathway as I jumped back towards Annabeth.

The force of the strike was enough to break the path in a five meter radius around Ethan's body. The path slowly dissolved, leaving a gaping hole in the street. There was no trace of Ethan's body, making it clear that it had been flushed out of Olympus, and was now on it's way to being flattened like a pancake as soon as it struck the ground.

Turning to Annabeth, I found her staring at the spot where Ethan's body had been. Her eyes held nothing, absolutely nothing as she stared at the spot.

After about five seconds, she faced me and spoke, "For all the pain and trouble he caused us, he got a pretty easy and painless death. Something he didn't deserve at all. He deserved to suffer like we did."

Grabbing her palms with mine, I spoke in a soft tone, "I know, wise Girl. I know. But we can't do anything about it now. Let's just hope he gets what he deserves down there in the Underworld. Now come on, we can't keep Gramps waiting, right?"

She nodded her head and we moved towards the throne room doors. Just as I pushed open the doors to the throne room, I heard a loud boom as a wave of power hit me head on. Letting my reflexes act, I covered Annabeth in my arms as we were sent back flying. I hit a tree from the gardens outside the throne room and fell to the ground.

Opening my arms, I let an unscathed Annabeth get out of my hold. She stood up and stared down at me with wide eyes. I, on the other hand, felt like I had been given the spear by Roman Reigns followed by a RKO by Randy Orton. My back hurt like crazy from the impact against the tree.

"Oh my gods Percy! Are you okay? Wait a minute. I have some ambrosia in my pocket."

She spoke frantically, searching her pant pockets for a piece of ambrosia. Something that I needed desperately at the moment.

Finding the cube of the godly food, Annabeth bent down and placed it in my mouth. I chewed it and immediately groaned in relief. The pain in my back, although not gone completely, had reduced significantly, allowing me to stand up slowly.

"What the hell was that? So much power, it almost felt like the power of an Olympian."

My eyes widened in realization at what had happened inside the throne room.

Turning to Annabeth, I saw that she had also connected the dots and reached the same conclusion as me. "Kronos! He..he destroyed a throne. He fucking destroyed it." I spoke in horror as we both immediately sprinted towards the throne room again.

The doors to the throne room had been broken off, leaving it open as we ran inside.

What we saw was something that I hadn't expected, but still made my heart quiver with fear and shock.

Luke Castellan, or rather Kronos, was standing in the centre of the room. He was carelessly twirling his scythe in his arms. His eyes were closed and he seemed to have forgotten about the real world. It was as if his body was in a coma, unmoving and unresponsive. Down by his feet on the floor was a fallen body of a lady who was probably in her early twenties.

Recognizing the body, I immediately raced forward. Kronos must have been completely distracted, as he didn't seem to sense me coming. I used as much power as I could, and kicked him in the back of his head. Luke was about five feet eleven tall, giving me the advantage of height.

Kronos was sent stumbling forward as he landed face first on the ground. Before he could get up, I bent down and picked up the body lying on the ground. Her brown hair, which were once lush and shiny, were now matted over her face, with dust sticking out of them. Her vibrant orange eyes were shut as she struggled to breath properly. Her dress was torn in places where it shouldn't be, making my anger at the Titan Lord reach its final point. To think that he could think of doing this to his own daughter was just preposterous and disgusting.

Carrying the injured body of Hestia with me, I placed her down on the ground beside Annabeth. I tried to feed her the remaining ambrosia that we had, but her lips wouldn't take it in. Turning to Annabeth helplessly, I raised an eyebrow, asking her for a solution.

She seemed absolutely sure when she spoke, "You need to chew it into liquid form and send it down her throat. CPR."

I gave her a confused, weird look, to which she rolled her eyes and replied, "Oh come on. It is the only way. And it doesn't count as cheating, you idiot. That doesn't even count as kissing. Now stop being a wuss and just do it."

I nodded and put the Ambrosia inside my mouth. Chewing it till it was liquid, I then bent down and pressed my lips to Lady Hestia's lips.

Forcing my tongue down in her mouth, I sent the liquid ambrosia into it, making sure to send every bit of it into her mouth.

As soon as it was done, I pulled back my lips and stood up, summoning some water. Drinking it, I turned to Annabeth and gave her a small kiss.

Pulling back, I saw her look of confusion and answered, "If I die, I want my last kiss to be one with you."

"That's very sweet, but you aren't going to die today, Seaweed brain. I will make sure of that." Annabeth spoke with a smile.

I nodded. "I know you will."

We heard a coughing sound from below us and looked down to see Lady Hestia stir from her unconscious state. Her eyes snapped open as she gasped loudly. Seeing us, she tried to crawl away out of instinct.

But when she saw that it was me, she stopped and sighed in relief. Annabeth and I bent down to help the eldest goddess stand up.

As she stood up, she seemed to think of something. "Mmmm" She moaned once. Then again. Closing her eyes, she asked, "Mmmm. What is that flavour? That is so good? Is it caramelized ambrosia? No, this is even better."

I scratched the back of my neck and replied, "No, milady. That is simple, plain ambrosia. Nothing else."

Hestia looked at me weirdly. "No, this is not normal ambrosia. I have been eating it for millennia, and I know how normal ambrosia tastes like. This is different. What is it?"

I blushed in embarrassment, not knowing what to say, when I heard a chuckle from behind me. Turning around, Hestia and I saw Annabeth chuckling humorously.

Stopping for a moment, Annabeth spoke, "Umm, Lady Hestia, that 'flavour' would be Percy's lips. Very tasty, believe me." And she started to laugh again, this time clutching her stomach while doing so.

I could literally feel Hestia blush from beside me as she began to heat up. Being the first goddess to wield fire, she had a deep connection to the element. The fire would act up according to her moods. Right now, the top part of her hair was on fire as she gazed everywhere but at me.

"Oh! Ohh. Umm..umm, well, that's good I..I guess." She stuttered, before snapping her fingers. A new dress materialized on her body, as she still gazed anywhere but at me.

That is when my sight fell on the most important problem in the room. The twelfth throne on the council, the throne of Dionysus, had been completely obliterated. Nothing, not even pieces of rubble were left. It was completely gone. The only proof that there even used to be a throne in that place was the leopard painting on the wall behind the place.

"What the fuck happened to Dionysus' throne? It is as if it never existed." I exclaimed, getting Annabeth's attention as she too gasped at the sight of the missing throne.

"Language, young man." Hestia chastised me as I blushed in embarrassment at being scolded by a goddess about my language. I could again hear my girlfriend laughing at me in the background.

"But as for your question, it was my father who obliterated the throne with his scythe." As soon as Hestia spoke this, she got that frightened look on her face and started to check her surroundings for her father.

Stupid ADHD. I had completely forgotten about the one behind all this. Turning my gaze to the area where I had kicked him in the head, I saw that Kronos was still lying there, not having moved from the place. What was going on? Why wasn't he attacking us or destroying more thrones like he had promised?

Before I could ponder over these questions, I felt a searing pain in the back of my head. It was as if someone or something that was present in my head for a long time was suddenly escaping out of my head.

I clutched my head and fell down to my knees, unable to stop the roar of pain that escaped my lips. The pain was so intense that I had the sudden urge to rip my head off to relieve myself of the pain.

I could hear Annabeth screaming out my name, but it felt as if it was happening somewhere far, far away. A place I couldn't reach however much I tried. I felt her crouch down beside me and pull me into her body, my head resting in the crook of her neck. She kept patting my body, trying to calm me down.

I felt a wave of warmth pass through my head when I felt a pair of tender arms wrap around my head. Warm feelings of comfort and hope filled my head as the pain started to subside immediately.

It took a few moments, but the terrible pain of my headache finally subsided completely. Opening my eyes, I saw Hestia's hands wrapped around my head and the goddess herself standing above me with her eyes closed, as if she was concentrating on something.

I gasped loudly when he felt another wave of warmth enter my mind. I felt Annabeth let go of me and then pull me back into another hug. Hestia opened her eyes and spoke sadly, "So young, yet so much pain, so many responsibilities. It's a wonder how you haven't gone insane yet."

I just shrugged while drawing my lips in a thin line. "Comes with the job, I guess. Responsibility and pain is a complimentary package in the ride known as a demigod's life."

Wait a second. Ride. Ride. RIDE. An amazing idea hit my mind as I let a million dollar smile grace my face.

Shaking my head, I got to my feet and spoke, "Lady Hestia. I have an idea. An idea which requires a kind-hearted, persuasive person. And I personally can't think of anyone better than you for it. So, basically, I need you to go to Atlantis and……"

I explained my idea to Hestia and Annabeth as their eyes widened in surprise at the brilliance and effectiveness of my plan.

"So, what do you say? I feel that this is the only option that can win us the war." I spoke finally, hoping that they would agree to my plan.

Annabeth nodded her head. "The idea is amazing. If it works, we can be sure of winning this war without other casualties. I completely support this idea."

We both looked at Hestia, who was staring at me weirdly. A strange growling noise from my right made me turn to Annabeth, who was clenching her fists while glaring at Hestia. Why in Dad's name would she do that, considering that a minute ago, she was not at all bothered by the goddess?

But before I could ask Annabeth, Hestia spoke, "That….. sounds like a meticulous plan. I support it, and hope that it works."

She then stepped forward and kissed me on both cheeks, confusing me beyond limits. Once again, I heard the growling noise from Annabeth, and it honestly reminded me of a cat purring at another cat to stay off its food.

"F..for good luck, Perseus. I hope you succeed." Hestia spoke, as she blushed golden and disappeared in a flash of flames.

Turning to Annabeth, I asked, "Is it just me, or was Hestia acting kinda weird before she left?"

Annabeth just stared at me with her mouth wide open, as if she didn't know what to do to me. The same look that she gave me when I was oblivious to something or asked something obvious.

"You really are a Seaweed brain, aren't you?" She asked while shaking her head, a small smile playing on her lips.

A loud clang of metal falling on the floor drew out attention to the place where Kronos was lying a few moments ago.

Kronos was still there, but he had now raised to his knees and was now attempting to stand using the support of his scythe.

Without wasting time, Annabeth and I got into our fighting stances. Kronos slowly stood up and turned around to face us. But something was different. Opposed to before, his golden eyes were now shining brightly with power, even more so than the big three.

His eyes met mine and he gave me a wicked grin. "So you are finally here, Jackson. This means that Nakamura couldn't kill you. But I see that he did his job well. He delayed your arrival to the throne room, giving me the chance to go through with the penultimate step of my plan- Destroying an Olympians throne and sucking the raw power to gain back my strength. As you can see, I have already succeeded."

Kronos released his full aura, making my knees buckle due to the excruciating pain that the force of his aura was causing. It was unlike any other auras I had felt till today.

Beside me, I could see Annabeth fall to her knees on experiencing the overwhelming aura of the Titan king. Just as I was about to fall to the ground, the aura went away and Kronos took a deep breath. So he still wasn't at a hundred percent of his power. He couldn't use his aura constantly. That was an advantage.

But before I could act, Kronos snapped his fingers, making time slow down to a crawl. I tried to control my arms and legs, but there was absolutely no response from my body parts. Using all of my willpower, I tried to break out of Kronos' time spell. But it was all in vain, as Kronos at this level of strength was just too powerful for me to break out of his time control. I was stuck there in time, completely exposed in front of my super powerful enemy, and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it.

Kronos grinned maniacally before starting to walk towards us, swinging his scythe in his arm like it was a huge candy cane and not a weapon that could kill a bloody primordial.

What was I supposed to do? This was a hopeless fight. I was destined to fight Kronos head on, but here I was, forced to the ground by just a single attack, that too not a physical one.

Closing my head, I waited for the weapon to strike my Achilles heel and end this, when suddenly, an image of my mother came into my mind. Well, not just an image. It was a scene of some kind.

I saw myself as a baby, no more than an year old. My mom was standing on the Montauk beach with me in her arms, staring at the ocean, as if she was waiting for someone to walk out of the ocean.

True to my assumption, the water present at the edge of the shore started to gather together and formed the outline of a humanoid figure. The humanoid figure glowed a bright sea-green colour for a moment, before the light died down to reveal my dad standing there in all his divine glory. By that, I mean his Hawaiian shirt and bermuda shorts. He held his trident in his arm, which must have looked like a fishing pole to other mortals.

I could see my mother's face visibly light up when she saw my dad walking towards us. Poseidon walked towards us and kissed mom before taking me into his arms. He placed a kiss on my forehead, before handing me back to my mother.

"Sorry dear, but I cannot stay long before my little brother gets suspicious. But I am extremely glad that you came to meet me and show me my son." He then looked down and baby me and spoke, "He is a true son of the sea. I can feel it, Sally. The seas accept him as their prince."

Mom smiled at him, before looking at baby me and speaking, "That is good. My little Perseus is the prince of the seas."

The sound of thunder rumbling got their attention as Poseidon turned to mom with a sad smile. "It is time for me to leave, my dear. I will keep a watch on you and our son and try to keep you safe. Goodbye."

He then gazed at baby me and spoke, "Goodbye, my little Destroyer." He placed a hand on baby me's head, before smiling softly and dissolving into fine sea mist.

My eyes snapped open as a gasp escaped my lips. An unexplainable power filled my veins as I tried to fight against the time control that Kronos was using. I wasn't going to let him succeed. Even if it took my life. That is when I realized, this was the same power I had used when I had punched Atlas after being healed.

With a roar of resilience, I broke free of the time spell and charged straight at Kronos. The Titan of time was completely taken aback by this and wasn't able to act in time.

I reached him and punched him in the face as hard as I could. The Titan inhabiting the body of Luke Castellan was sent flying to the other side of the room, where he crashed into a pillar and fell to the ground, with the pillar crumbling due to the force and falling on top of him.

Seeing that he was taken care of for the moment, I turned Annabeth and helped her stand up. She was looking at me with an awestruck expression and asked me a single question, "How?"

I shrugged and answered, "I don't know. I just felt a surge of power flow through my veins and then the next moment, I found that I was able to break out of his spell. After that, I used the element of surprise to punch his cocky face as hard as I could."

She nodded slowly, still trying to get over the fact that I had just sent the Titan king flying across the room with just a punch.

I heard the sound of rocks moving and turned to see some sort of movement under the pile of rubble which had buried the Titan Lord of time.

The next moment, the pile of rubble was blasted in all directions as Kronos' scythe appeared above it. Slowly, the Titan king climbed out of the rubble, before turning to face us. He looked way worse than what he looked a minute ago.

His armour was dented at many places and his helmet had broken off. But what actually made me do a double check was the small stream of blood flowing from his mouth. Instead of the red blood that Luke's body should have had, the blood was am equal mixture of red blood and golden ichor.

To say that my jaw dropped at seeing this would easily be an under-understatement, if it is even a thing. Well, don't blame me, Annabeth is the brains for a reason.

But back onto serious matters, this was the first, and most probably the last time I had seen such a phenomenon. How could a being have two types of blood inside them? How was Luke's body even working? Was he mortal? Or was he a freaking immortal already?

"Surprised, Jackson?" I heard Kronos call out as I looked back up at his eyes. The harsh golden orbs still made me nervous, even after having faces them so many times.

Not even trying to hide it, I nodded my head. Kronos let out a laugh and spoke, "Poor Jackson. So plain, so noble. You really thought I would fight the whole fucking war in a pathetic mortal body? Oh no. Oh no no. As you just guessed, I am using the energy from that drunk bastard's throne to immortalize this body, just the way it is supposed to be for being a loyal servant to me for so long."

I had thought that my eyes getting wider than they already were at the moment was not possible, but clearly, I was proven wrong as the sea-green orbs widened to the size of dinner plates.

That is when a thought struck me. "But won't that remove the curse of Achilles? Being immortalized, I mean." I asked him in confusion.

He nodded. "Yes it would. Unfortunately for me, the curse doesn't work for immortals. But on the other hand, fortunately for me, you won't have to worry about that. The reason being that you won't be alive when this body finally turns immortal."

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure of that, Kronos. After all, I did just kill two of your brothers and nephews down there. I think that you will find it a little harder than last time to beat me." I spoke confidently.

Kronos' grin turned to a scowl. "There really are some moments when I wish Poseidon wouldn't have inherited my stubbornness. I swear I would have had to deal with much less shit from you otherwise, Jackson."

Smirking at his annoyance, I waved an arm at him tauntingly inviting him, "Well come on then, Gramps. Let me take care of your stick."

Realizing what my words were implying, I quickly added, "And by stick, I mean your scythe, of course. Not your…. stick. That would be weird and disgusting at the same time. Gahh. Yuck."

Knowing that speaking any more would just lead to me embarrassing myself even more, I just uncapped Riptide and charged at him.

Kronos seemed to like my idea and charged right back, as we met midway in a series of heavy blows.

The legendary scythe of the Titan Lord clashed against my trusty sword, sending a jolt of adrenaline pumping through my body. This was it, the last fight. The fight that would not just give out a victor and loser, but would also decide the future of the entire fucking world.

If I had thought that fighting against Atlas was the hardest fight I gave ever had, well, I was clearly mistaken. While Kronos' skills and raw power was nowhere near that of the Titan of endurance's, his mind games were extremely distracting, giving him the upper hand in the fight constantly.

The Crooked One was not pulling back any punches, using every single cheap trick he knew to get in head and manipulate me into losing this fight. Even with the mental barriers that I had set in my mind to protect me from such situations were useless as the Titan King used his tricks.

"Hmm. Wonder what Charles Beckendorf has to say, after you abandoned him on a ship that was going to blast in a few moments. Oh and who's the other one? Oh yeah. How is Thalia Grace going to react when I tell her that her younger brother is alive? Wait a minute. Let's talk about you, Perseus. What if I were so say that Gabriel Ugliano was actually a good person when he met your mother. And guess what made him act the way he acted to you?"

Kronos spoke, while cackling evilly, like he was an evil scientist who had just found the formula to making people mindless zombies and was now planning world domination. Yeah, Manhattan had its share of weirdos.

But the last part of Kronos' rant got me to stop immediately. That couldn't be true, right? Gabe was a horrible, horrible man. No, he wasn't even a man. He was a fucking animal. If what Kronos was saying was true, it meant that had it not been for the Titan's meddling, my mom and I could have had a truly happy life.

I clenched my fists tightly and stared at the ground, not making a single movement. "Is it true?" Were the only three words that escaped my lips, but the coldness behind them made even Kronos stop attacking for a moment.

"Of course it is! Why will I lie about something so traumatic otherwise, eh?" Kronos spoke with mock innocence, laughing at me as he spoke.

Riptide clattered to the floor as I slowly raised my head to meet his eyes. "All those years he abused me, abused my mother, that was your doing?"

"Of course. I had to break you before you actually became the hero who would stop me, right? But no, your bitch of a mother kept protecting you from me, taking the hits for you. I was never really able to break you with her around. So, I did what I had to do. I killed the bitch off. Nice one, right?" He asked me mockingly, with a sneer on his face.

So, he was the reason my mom, the only angel to ever walk on Earth, had such a horrible life. The reason why she died an untimely death.

He would suffer. I would make sure of that. Kronos would suffer for what he did.

Looking the Titan straight in his eyes, I spoke coldly, "My mom was more of a divine being than you ever were, Kronos. And now I'm going to kick your ass back to Tartarus, and trust me on this, it is going to be painful."

Kronos sneered and charged at me with his scythe. With utmost precision, he started to hack and slash at me in hopes of making me expose my bare back.

But to his utter shock and disappointment, I dodged or deflected each and every strike of his with my bare hands and legs. Dodging an overhead slash from his scythe by just bending down, I then sprang up and immediately deflected the next strike by turning to the side and pushing away his scythe weilding hand with my palm.

Before he could return to his stance, I got down and kicked his legs from under him. As the Titan was falling, I grabbed his hand and used all of my strength to lift him in the air and smashing him into the floor on my other side as hard as I could.

The floor underneath Kronos cracked as he groaned out in obvious pain. Not giving him even a moment's retrieve, I lifted my foot and smashed it into his chest as hard as I could.

The scream that he gave out at this was like music to my ears as I again lifted my foot to smash him, but this time, instead of the chest, I smashed my foot hard on his stupid, scarred face.

I could hear a few teeth crack in his mouth and pulled my leg away. Kronos spat out a mouthful of his weird golden-red blood thingy, along with two canines and an incisor.

I was about to continue my assault of attacks, but doing so, failed to notice how his eyes suddenly glowed a very bright shade of golden.

"Arrghhh." He shouted at the top of his lungs as a wave of pure, raw power hit me. Before I knew it, I was flying backwards, where I crashed straight into the hearth of the Olympian throne room. I was sure that the fire would catch onto my clothes, depleting my energy reserves, but I was proven wrong when a hand made of fire grabbed my body and gently deposited me outside the hearth.

"Thanks Hestia. Yet again, you come to the rescue." I mumbled softly, before groaning as the first wave of pain hit me. How could I have forgotten about that bloody technique of the Titans to send blasts of pure energy to annihilate their enemies? I should have noticed it. But my anger got the better of me as I ignored the signs of him gathering power.

And now I was paying for it as I was rendered unmoving due to the blow, also giving Kronos time to gather his bearings and recover from the thrashing I just gave him.

I laid there for a whole two minutes, before I heard the sound of uneven footsteps approaching me. Turning my head towards the noise, I saw Kronos walking in my direction. He was clearly limping in his right leg, something that I would be finding funny, were I not currently experiencing some excruciating pain..

Reaching me, Kronos bent down and punched me hard on the nose, breaking it as a geyser of blood erupted out of it. He was about to speak something, when he stopped abruptly.

"Wait a minute. Wasn't there someone else with you? Ahh. Yes, that Athena girl. What was her name again? Anniebell? No? Oh yes, Annabeth it was. So, Percy, where is Annabeth?" He asked me with a grin on his face.

I knew he would expect me to show anger, or even better, fear. But I am proud to say that I completely surprised him by grinning widely. "Ahh, looks like my beating really did a number on you. Your senses aren't working that well, eh? Otherwise, you would have noticed that Annabeth was behind you, ready to strike your Achilles heel in a moment."

I observed the immediate look of fear on his face as he glanced at his left armpit before immediately turning back to find…. absolutely nothing.

I knew that if I caught him by surprise by mentioning that Annabeth and I knew where his Achilles heel was and that Annabeth was about to attack the spot, he would think out of reflex rather than using the rational part of his brain. Without a doubt, he would immediately take a glance at his Achilles heel, his only weakness to make sure that he was fine and not in any danger. And suffice to say, Kronos did exactly as I had predicted, thus giving away the location of his Achilles heel. A simple, small bluff of mine may have just won us the war. Hmm. Now I felt like Sherlock Holmes, just without the pipe and hat.

Kronos' face turned into one of horror as he realized what had just happened. He gritted his teeth and turned his attention back to me, just to find me grinning at him with a bloody nose, and mouthing, "Fuck you" to him.

He gave me a forced smile, "You got me there. I will admit it, that was an excellent bluff. You completely fooled me there." Ending his speech abruptly, he growled and punched me in the nose again, definitely causing a nasal fracture as a pained groan escaped my lips.

He continued, "But unfortunately, you won't live long enough to actually use that bit of information. I am sorry, but it ends here for you, Perseus Jackson. As a last complement, I will say this. You were a far better challenge than the six of my children combined. In the end, you were my true Nemesis, Perseus, son of Poseidon and Sally Jackson. Goodbye."

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure of that, Gramps. Remember, Annabeth has an invisibility cap." I spoke as he again turned around and slashed at the air with his scythe. Oh gods. I can't believe that Kronos, the smartest, most cunning Titan just fell for the same bloody trick twice in one minute.

Taking his moment of distraction to my advantage, I used my hydrokinetic powers to call forth the water from Bessie the Ophiotaurus' bowl and used it to carry me as far from Kronos as possible.

The Titan Lord, realizing that he had been tricked again, screamed in anger and turned around to the place I had previously been in. Without seeing, he banged the blunt end of his scythe down on that place. The floor under it cracked, making me wince, thinking about what would have happened if I had still been there. It would have definitely broken some ribs.

Feeling a little energized by the water, I managed to stand up and face Kronos. The Titan Lord had finally spotted me and was now seething with red, hot rage.

"You!! I will gut you like a fucking pig, Jackson. The moment I catch you, I rip you apart." Kronos bellowed as he began to run towards me. That is when I saw Annabeth run into the throne room with a small smile of success on her face. This meant that the task I had given her had been executed by her successfully.

As Kronos was about to reach me, he immediately stopped as we heard a roar that was so loud that I could literally feel all the glasses on Olympus shatter. I could only imagine what the current scenario was in Manhattan after this roar.

A victorious smirk made its way onto Kronos' face as he spoke, "Finally. I win. I bloody, bloody win. He is here. My weapon of Destruction. The father of all monsters, Typhon, the storm giant."

His words shocked me as I asked, "Wait a minute. Did you say that you control Typhon? But how? He is the bloody storm giant. Strongest monster ever. How can you control him?"

Kronos laughed loudly. "Oh dear boy. You really believe those stupid stories made up by my son to belittle me, eh? Remember Perseus, Zeus himself defeated Typhon, while it took the full strength of all three of my sons to just subdue me. Typhon is strong, but even he knows that he can't take me on. Do not ever forget this, I am the strongest son of Gaia and Ouranos. The most powerful non-primordial being in the cosmos."

I could just nod dumbly as I imagined the true power of the being standing in front of me. Someone who elicited fear even from the father of all monsters.

Kronos grinned again and spoke, "Before I kill you, let me just show you how hopeless it is to go against me. Let me show you the last, pathetic effort of your weak Olympians to stop the storm giant.

Saying so, Kronos snapped his fingers as a screen formed beside us, showing a clear view of the storm giant.

Let's just say, the father of all monsters was a beast that would be the nightmare of the creatures that appeared in your nightmares. Firstly, it was about eight hundred fifty metres tall, which meant it's head could easily reach Mount Olympus even when he was only standing.

I really do not want to describe the details about how Typhon looked, as it made me almost puke. It's head was somewhat huge for its body, which was absurd considering that it's body itself was so huge.

Typhon had two huge yellow eyes, with the pupils dilated so that they looked reptilian, making them even scarier.

It's body was covered with scales, and an occasional crater or bump where Zeus' Master bolt had hit it. It's arms were long and bony, with four sharp nails on each claw. A long, slimy tail hung behind his back, swishing sideways, destroying the buildings and other landmarks that it hit. His legs were similarly scaly, making them look gross just like the rest of his body. Oh, and not to forget, the colour of its body was bottled green, yeah, the colour of sewage water.

In all truthfulness, Typhon was definitely the ugliest monster I had ever seen, even worse than the Minotaur and Polyphemus the cyclops.

Around the Storm giant, seven carriages still flew, attacking him with all they had, trying to stop him before he got to Olympus and destroyed it completely. Zeus, Hera, Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Athena and Hermes were still fighting, with three other Olympians having been knocked out and one permanently faded.

I crossed my fingers behind my back and desperately hoped that my plan would work. It was the only way that could possibly defeat Typhon and give us a chance at winning this war.

As Typhon entered the Hudson and East river, the water barely rose till his calves, making it look like a toddler walking through a small puddle of water.

"Now. It has to happen now. Come on dad. We don't have the fucking time." I muttered to myself, desperately hoping that dad showed up.

Kronos must have heard me muttering, as he asked, "What? Did you say something? What did you say?"

I just shook my head and was about to shrug, telling him that it was nothing, when I heard the loud and clear sound of a conch shell being blown.

A full blown smile made its way onto my face as I spoke, "As I was just saying, Checkmate!"

Utterly confused, Kronos turned his attention back to the screen, only to see a sea-green and golden chariot emerge from the water of the Hudson River.

The chariot was being dragged by two hippocampi, which were surprisingly flying in the sky, no doubt the work of my father.

Speaking of my father, he was himself standing in the chariot, his trident resting in his right hand.

Followed by my father's chariot, there were many such splashes from the two rivers. A group of armed cyclops from the Atlantean army appeared above the water. And leading them was…… "Tyson'' I gasped, seeing my half-brother leading the elite army of the one-eyed warriors of Atlantis.

The cyclops were carrying a huge chain, with metal even thicker than a shark's length. With utmost precision and coordination, the army of Atlantis began to wrap the chains around Typhon, making the storm giant trip in his step.

Noticing the sea god and his army, Typhon tried to resist the chains and started to use his strength to break them, but before he could attempt anything, another shrill sound emanated through the air. Distracted, Typhon turned to the source of the noise, only to see the eldest son of Kronos standing there with his sword in his hand. Without wasting time, Hades' chariot moved forward and the god stabbed the storm giant in the forehead with his sword. The shot made Typhon give out a roar of pain as he tried to free his hands to swat away the god. These actions from the storm giant were starting to put strain on the chains holding him together. Seeing that the storm giant needed to be neutralized immediately, the big three turned to each other and nodded. The next moment, three weapons struck Typhon's chest at the same time.

The master bolt of Zeus, under which was the trident of my father, and the sword of Hades in the bottom. The blast that followed was terrifying and awe-inspiring at the same time.

The whole sky lit up in a dark green shape as Typhon's bottled green blood oozed out of his body.

His blood literally formed a waterfall as it dropped into the river below.

Although being the strongest monster alive, Typhon still stood no match to the combined power of the three strongest gods together. The storm giant was rendered motionless as he just stood there, bound by the chains, his head hanging down as he gave out small groans of pain.

I turned back to Kronos and let a huge smirk play on my lips. "As I said a minute ago, Checkmate!"

The Titan king was completely flabbergasted as he tried to make sense of the scene he had just noticed. His master plan had gone down the drain in less than five minutes.

"What? How? I made sure that Poseidon wouldn't help them and that Hades would be kept occupied by the army. How did you do that? No wait, when did you do that?" Kronos asked in frustration, not at all being able to make sense of the situation.

I laughed out loudly and said, "While you were doing your creepy meditation thing when we entered the throne room, an idea struck me. I knew that to reach here, Typhon would have to walk through the water bodies. So, I asked your eldest daughter Hestia to do me a favour. I sent her to Atlantis, asking her to convince my father into helping the other gods against the Storm giant. Also, to your earlier question about where Annabeth was, I had sent her to contact Hades and Athena and explain the plan to them. Athena then manipulated the other gods into luring Typhon into the river, where the penultimate part of my plan took action as you just saw."

Kronos still looked flabbergasted as he just gaped at me. But then, a part of my words confused him as he asked, "What do you mean by penultimate? They already defeated Typhon."

I just shrugged and pointed at the screen, as Kronos too turned to it.

On the screen, we saw the big three call back their weapons. As soon as they got their weapons back, Zeus turned to the other Olympians and bellowed, "Prepare to strike."

Athena, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, Hera and Hermes gathered around Zeus and raised their weapons of power, ready to strike the storm giant with their full power.

Poseidon rose above Typhon and aimed his trident right down at the storm giant's head. Hades, on the other hand, moved closer to the father of all monsters and aimed his blade at the beast's heart.

The first one to make the strike was Hades, as he stabbed his blade straight through Typhon's chest, grazing the storm giant's heart. He released an extremely strong beam of power into the storm giant's chest, making the beast shudder from head to toe.

Pulling back, Hades travelled away from the beast and nodded to Poseidon, completely ignoring Zeus.

Zeus, while irritated at being ignored by his brother, did not let it show. Instead, readying his weapon, he shouted, "Olympians! Strike as hard as you can."

Zeus fired his master bolt at the giant's chest, while at the same time, all the other Olympians did the same.

Ares sent a huge spear hurtling towards the storm giant's stomach, while from beside him, his mother Hera sent a powerful beam of energy to Typhon's upper chest.

Apollo sent multiple golden arrows straight to Typhon's neck and throat, while Artemis attacked the storm giant's crotch with silver arrows.

Hermes flew around the Storm giant at extremely fast speeds, while shooting Powerful laser beams at him with his caduceus. Athena sent her spear straight to Typhon's head, piercing his forehead and eyes.

The attack that undoubtedly caused the most damage was my father's trident, the reason being that they were fighting in water. The trident struck Typhon's skull, cracking it and piercing the storm giant in his gross brain.

The resounding explosion that followed made even the previous one look like a child's science fair project being blown up. The sky actually lit up with sparkles as a huge cloud of dust surrounded the area of the blast.

Zeus used the remaining part of his strength to create a huge wind that blew the dust and smog away. The sight left after the blast was a sight to behold. The spot where Typhon stood a moment ago was now empty. The attack had been so powerful, that it had literally blasted the storm giant to small bits and pieces.

Typhon, the son of Gaia and Tartarus, the father of all monsters, the bane of Olympus, was finally dead.

I turned around to see the look on Kronos' face, wanting to savour the look of shock I knew he would have.

To my utter shock, I saw him actually smirk at me as he suddenly roared out. I braced myself to be hit by a wave of raw power, but after a few moments of nothing happening, I opened my eyes to see my surroundings.

There was nothing different about the throne room. Turning to Kronos, I saw his grin maniacally as he spoke, "You see, I have always had a backup plan ready for a situation like this. After having you as an enemy for so many years, I have come to realize that with you, nothing ever goes according to the plan. So, I had a backup plan ready just for a situation like this. The wave of power that I just sent was not to harm you, no. It was to erect a strong barrier around Olympus, something that will stop your stupid Olympians from entering their own home. They will watch helplessly as I destroy Olympus in front of their eyes."

Before I could comprehend his words, he spoke again, "Ohh. And speaking of destruction, I remembered that I had promised to break your spirit. So, here's my final and most evil plan to break you, Perseus Jackson. I present to you, the best betrayal of all time. A classic, knife to the back."

The next moment, I felt excruciating pain fill up my body as my nervous system fried up due to the overdose of pain.

Using all of my willpower to focus, I saw and tried to recognize the blade that was peeking out of my stomach.

Why? Why would she do that? Should I turn around to face her and ask her, or should I just stay as it is? At least it will save me from the pain of watching the expression on her face.

But before I could come to a decision, Kronos spoke, "Excellently done, Grover Underwood. You literally and figuratively stabbed him through the back. Now come here and join me, servant."

My eyes widened in shock as I turned my head to see my attacker. Just like Kronos said, Grover stood behind me, with Annabeth's dagger in his hand. He was the one that had stabbed me. My best friend had betrayed me and joined the enemy, stabbing me in the back. In the distance, I could see Annabeth lying on the ground, with a hoove shaped footprint on her head.

A piece of my heart that had still remained intact even after all this, broke at seeing my best friend betray me.

Barely able to speak, I asked him just one question. "Why?"

He looked saddened by the fact, but I didn't even give it a second thought. He was dead to me the second he betrayed me. I had put all of my trust in him, only for him to stab me in the back the moment I turned around.

"I'm sorry Perseus. But Lord Kronos promised me that he would spare the wildlife and let me rule over it if I betrayed you and spied for him. I didn't want to betray you, but I had no other option." Grover spoke in a morose tone, though I knew that it was just an act.

The chains of events connecting to know finally struck my mind. So, it was Grover who gave Kronos a link to my head through the empathy link. It was Grover who framed Silena for being the spy, even though she was probably innocent. It was Grover who had fed Kronos the information about Beckendorf and me invading their ship.

Feeling the need to speak, I forced myself to get the words out, "You were my best friend. But now that I realize what you are, I am ashamed to think that I ever trusted you. You are by far the worst, most cowardly, most pathetic satyr I have ever seen." I tried to spit at him, but found myself unable to do so due to the pain in my body. One by one, I could feel the parts of my body stop responding to my commands. I was dying slowly, painfully.

Kronos then spoke, "I am surprised you didn't notice it earlier, Perseus. The way Grover always stopped you from what you felt was right, because he knew that it would make you succeed. And we didn't want that, did we? Also, just between the three of us, Pan didn't pass away on your own. Before you got there, Grover here had already poisoned the god, making him fade. Oh. How can I forget the way we tried to kill you earlier. The splitting headache, you remember? Yes. That was Grover poisoning himself with the poison, which affected you. When you were affected, Grover immediately broke the empathy link with you and cured himself with the antidote, leaving you to suffer. But unfortunately, my daughter helped you fight the elder scorpion poison, thus saving you."

Hearing about all these horrible things Grover had done, I couldn't help but feel disgusted at myself for ever considering him a friend.

Then I remembered someone who would be even more hurt than me. "What….what about Juniper?" I asked him with a glare. "Was she just a plaything for you?"

Grover shook his head. "Juniper, I like her. Maybe I will keep her with me after this. She does have an awesome body after all."

If possible, the disgust I felt for Grover increased even more when I heard him speak those words. He truly was the worst satyr I had ever met.

Kronos again asked him, "What about that daughter of Zeus outside? Did you kill her like I asked you to?"

No, this couldn't be happening. Grover adored Thalia. There was no way he could kill her in cold blood.

But again, I was proven horribly wrong as Grover nodded his head. "Yes, my lord. I used her spear to stab her in the head. Quick and painless, as I had promised you."

I roared in anger and sadness. The bastard had also stolen my other best friend from me. Thalia was the only one other than Nico who knew what it was to be a child of the big three. Considering that Nico hated me, Thalia was the only one I could speak about this to. The bond we shared was almost as strong as my bond with Annabeth or with my mom. And Grover had killed her.

"I...I w..will kill you, ss..satyr. I will r...rip your stupid head off your b..body." I shouted and tried to pounce on him, only to find that my legs had gone dead. I was rendered motionless, forced to watch the person who had killed my best friend and stabbed me in the back. And I couldn't do anything to him, however much I wanted.

"Underwood, I think that it is time to finally break Percy Jackson. Bring Annabeth Chase here." Kronos spoke with a happy smile, obviously enjoying every single moment of this.

Grover didn't hesitate for even a second before walking towards Annabeth and dragging her body back to Kronos. The fucking bastard didn't even care enough to pick her body up and carry her. He just dragged her.

I tried to fight the pain I was feeling, the physical one at least. My mind had already reached the limit for emotional pain after all these events. I couldn't feel anything else. My mind had gone completely numb to any sensation, and I was absolutely sure that the physical pain from being stabbed had nothing to do with it. Kronos had finally achieved his goal. He had broken me.

I could only watch as Kronos slapped Annabeth hard in order to wake her up. With a jolt, the daughter of Athena opened her eyes and stared at Kronos. Immediately, she tried to crawl back, only for Kronos to grab her by the hair and pick her up, making her stand to her feet.

He grabbed both of her hands and held them behind her back, while holding his scythe with his other hand.

Annabeth saw Grover and scowled. "You fucking bastard. We trusted you. And this is how you return the trust?" As if remembering something, she asked with an expression of dread, "What did you do to Thalia? Please don't tell me you killed her. Even you wouldn't stoop that low."

Grover's expression gave it away. Annabeth started to scream and kick Kronos, only for the Titan to speak, "Stop that this instant! Oh. In all of this drama, you forgot to see your boyfriend. I present to you, Perseus Jackson on his deathbed."

Annabeth turned to face me and immediately gasped when she saw her dagger protruding from my chest. By this time, I was sitting there in a pool of my own blood, unable to move any part of my body other than my mouth.

It was a miracle that I had managed to last so long.

Seeing that Annabeth was about to scream, Kronos banged his scythe on the floor beside him "Shut up, bitch. I don't want to hear any more crying out of you, otherwise I will gut you like the fish you are ." He ordered.

Seeing that Annabeth had quietened down a bit, he continued, "Now, let's give Jackson a show by killing his bitch right in front of his eyes. What do you say, servant?" He asked Grover.

Grover just replied, "As you wish, my lord."

Kronos raised his scythe, ready to deliver the finishing blow to Annabeth. I met Annabeth's eyes as a few tears leaked down from my eyes. I could see tears flowing down her cheeks as she mouthed, "I love you."

I in turn mouthed back, "I love you too." I closed my eyes when Kronos started to bring down his scythe. I couldn't bear to watch Annabeth getting killed in front of my eyes.

The next moment, I heard Annabeth scream out in….shock? Opening my eyes, my jaw dropped open as I saw Kronos' scythe covered in blood, but Annabeth was unharmed.

Looking beside them, I saw Grover standing there with both of his hands missing from his body. The satyr seemed to notice it at the same time as I did, because he started to scream and bleat in pain, desperately trying to run away from the Lord of time.

But Kronos just stopped time for Grover, not allowing the satyr to run away. Approaching the satyr, Kronos spoke, "You see Underwood, I am a king. A person who is at great risk of being betrayed by his people. And after having known you, I can say that you are not someone who can be trusted. Heck, you betrayed your own friends just for power and survival, without a single sign of reluctance. What's to say that you won't betray me similarly? Sorry, but I can't take a chance like that. So, unfortunately, you have to die. Nothing personal though, I assure you. Think of this as a punishment from the Fates for betraying your friends. As the mortals often say, 'Karma's a bitch.'"

Saying so, Kronos stabbed Grover through the chest with his scythe. The crescent blade tore through the satyr's chest, before ripping out of his back.

I almost vomited when I saw Grover's heart pierced onto the blade of the scythe. The satyr stared at Kronos with wide eyes, before coughing up mouthfuls of blood. He fell to his knees.

Kronos then proceeded to savagely rip out the blade from inside Grover's body, making the satyr's heart come out along with it, still pierced to the weapon.

Grover coughed up blood again, before falling on the ground face first, dead within seconds.

Kronos, meanwhile, removed Grover's heart from the scythe, before crushing it in his bare hands.

The moment the heart was crushed, Grover's body began to dissolve slowly, before all that was left in that place was a small sapling lying over there. Walking to it, Kronos bent and picked it up. Studying it for a few moments, he burst out in a fit of laughter.

Turning to me, he spoke, "Guess which plant Grover Underwood became when he died. If you guessed the Black Dahlia, then you are absolutely correct. Ahh. The Fates do have a sense of humor. The biggest traitor of this war becomes the plant that signifies betrayal and dishonesty. Now that is something."

Picking up the sapling, Kronos walked towards the area in the throne room where the floor had cracked, revealing a hole that led straight to Manhattan. He dropped the seed in the hole, laughing heartily.

Honestly, I couldn't care less what happened to Grover, as long as I knew that he paid for what he had done. Grover deserved the horrible death that Kronos gave him. Killing Grover might have been the only common thought that I have in common with Kronos.

But as soon as he was done laughing, he turned to me. "Now, time for the final showdown, Jackson. To get rid of your bitch, Annabeth Chase."

He tightened his holds on Annabeth's arms, making Annabeth whimper in pain. "I won't be killing her, of course. That would mean you reuniting with her when you reach Elysium. And that is not something I want. So, I have a whole new method planned to get rid of Ms. Chase here."

I saw Kronos' eyes glow golden, meaning that he was using his powers. Lifting his scythe, Kronos roared as loudly as he could, before bringing his weapon down in a curve. My eyes widened in shock when the curve path immediately split open and I could see a dark passageway lit with whits dots inside it.

Noticing my confused look, Kronos spoke, "Let me explain it to you, Perseus. This scythe, in contrast to the stories, was not made of my mother's body. No. It was made of one of Lord Chronos' ribs, making it the single most powerful weapon in the universe. Lord Chronos was the true master of time and space, the strongest Primordial in creation. So, this scythe gives the wielder the power to open a portal to a completely new dimension. But this can happen only once in every ten millennia. This is the first time that this power has been used, so I don't even know about the dimensions. No one other than Lord Chaos, Lord Chronos, and Lady Ananke knows about it. But, all I can say is that Annabeth here will be the first person to ever travel dimensions. This will be the way I get rid of her, by sending her somewhere that you can never hope to reach. Say goodbye, Perseus."

"Noooo!!!" I screamed as I saw Kronos lift Annabeth by her neck. The Titan turned to me and gave me a devious grin, before chucking Annabeth into the dimension portal.

In that moment, something inside of me changed. I felt the dagger drop out of my chest, before my chest started to seal itself. My nose set itself back into place, while my ribs started to mend on their own. I could feel an entirely fresh wave of energy coursing through my body. My mind was still numb after having noticed all of this, but my body felt better than it had ever felt. To sum it up, I felt stronger than I had ever felt. How it had happened? I don't know. But I didn't care about it as long as it helped me avenge my mother, my step-father and my friends. I had a score to settle with my grandfather. And I would settle it at any cost.

While Kronos' back was turned, I stood and picked up Annabeth's dagger from the ground. Storing it by placing it inside my socks, I stood back up and charged right at the Titan Lord of time. Kronos was just about to close the portal, when I crashed into him, sending us both rolling across the throne room.

After a few rolls, I managed to get on top and started to punch his smug face as hard as I could. But after the initial shock of my sudden attack went away, Kronos started to block and dodge my punches. Ten seconds later, I felt Kronos press his knees to my stomach, before springing them as hard as he could. I was thrown off his body as I fell to the side. Without wasting a moment, I got to my feet and took a fighting stance.

Kronos had also managed to stand up, though he looked as if he had just run a hundred miles and then beaten up by a gang of thugs. But I knew that this didn't make him any less of a formidable opponent. He opened his palm and his scythe flew right into it.

Seeing this, I reached into my pocket and dug out my ball point pen. Uncapping it, I charged at Kronos while bringing Riptide down in a diagonal slash to his chest.

He blocked my attack with his scythe, before kicking me in the stomach, sending me tumbling backwards. Regaining my balance, I charged right back, meeting his scythe with my sword. We exchanged blows back and forth, with matched skills with the blade. He still tried to get into my head with taunts and insults, but this time, I wasn't affected in the slightest. The reason being that my mind was still numb, understanding everything, yet not able to feel anything.

Without the mind games, I found Kronos' skills with the scythe almost perfect, yet repetitive. He used only a choice of moves and maneuvers. Deciding to try check if my observation was true, I feinted a strike to his left shoulder, while simultaneously sending a kick to his right leg with my left leg. He blocked the sword strike with utmost precision, but didn't even pay attention to the kick. It cost him as my leg kicked his legs from under him, sending him to the ground. Immediately after, I tried to strike his body with my sword, but he rolled out of my sword's reach at the last second, stopping a short distance from me and getting to his feet.

Now, I knew that the Titan Lord was a repetitive fighter, someone who anticipated their opponent's move according to the most recent ones, and didn't leave any possibility for a surprise blow. This could be used to my advantage.

This time, instead of charging him, I waved my finger tauntingly, inviting him to charge me. He fell for the taunt and immediately charged me, trying a stab with his scythe.

But instead of dodging like I would usually do, I just placed my sword at an angle at which when the scythe hit it, the scythe smoothly passed against it, tilting it's path and thus throwing Kronos off balance. Using inhumane speeds I reached out and gave him a mean uppercut. Again, I was thoroughly surprised when instead of jerking his head back and stepping back, Kronos was literally sent flying back a few feet, where he fell to the ground and groaned in pain.

How had I gotten so strong all of a sudden? This made zero sense. I was completely sure that this wasn't the work of the omnipotent being, as that aura of power, I could recognize from a mile away. This was something else. This strength didn't seem someone else's that they had lent to me. This felt like my strength. My own strength.

Deciding to think about it later, I marched up to the fallen body of Kronos and sat on his chest. Locking his arms under my legs, I grabbed his face with my left hand and started to punch him as hard as I could, with the added strength I had just received.

I let out all of the pent up emotions from my heart and used them to fuel me as I punched the Titan. All the frustration, heartbreak, anger and hopelessness surfaced in my heart as I punched the smug face of Luke Castellan as hard as I could. The hatred that I had for both Kronos and Luke also helped me in releasing my anger and frustration.

Eventually, I felt myself losing fuel. Just as I was about to stop punching him, a new, yet old emotion surfaced in my heart. An emotion that I had been feeling ever since Gabe had appeared in my life. An emotion that I never showed, wanting to act like the tough leader in front of my friends. An emotion of mine that not even my mother or Annabeth knew about.

Pain.

I had suffered more than enough pain in these twelve or something years than what people suffered in their entire lives. Now, I was going to unleash it on this bastard. The bastard who was the reason for most of my pain.

Getting off Kronos, I grabbed his leg and using all my power, flung him as far as I could. Surprisingly, Kronos was flung all the way across the throne room, where he hit Zeus' throne and fell to the floor, groaning in pain.

Walking towards the fallen form of the Titan of time, I picked him up and bashed him into the footstep of my father's throne.

Before I could hurt him more, I felt something change in Luke's body. It started to emanate a golden glow, which meant that the Titan was trying to assume his true form.

I knew that I could not let him attain his true form, he would be too powerful for me to defeat. And killing Luke by attacking his Achilles heel wasn't an option as it would only destroy the body. Kronos had already established a firm base in the surface world that even if I killed his host's body, the Titan would survive and turn into his true form.

So, I performed the only reasonable action that I could at the moment. I grabbed hold of his body and ran towards the stupid dimension portal. Kronos had told me that it could only be used once in ten millennia. If I managed to drag Kronos inside and close the portal behind us, it would help Olympus win the war and save the lives of the demigods and mortals down there.

As I was nearing the portal, I felt ten presences enter the throne room. Looking back while running, I saw Zeus, Hera, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Athena, Hades, Hestia and my father enter the throne room with theek weapons in their hands. But they were clearly in no condition to fight after that attack against Typhon and after using the strength that they must have used to break Kronos' barrier.

Seeing me run to the portal with Kronos, Poseidon shouted, "What are you doing, Percy?"

At the same time, I reached the portal and saw that I still had about five seconds till the portal closed and Kronos took his true form.

Letting out a small smile, I spoke, "Winning us the war." Giving them a two finger salute, I let myself fall back into the portal, dragging the now glowing body of Luke Castellan with me.

As soon as I fell into the portal, I used the scythe in Kronos' hand to shut it, blocking us from our dimension. At the same time, Kronos started to roar loudly as Luke's body began to burn from inside.

I tried to release my hold on his arm, but was utterly unsuccessful as he grabbed my arm as tightly as he could. Even with my newfound strength, I found myself struggling to free myself from his grip.

Luke's legs were the first to change as the skin on his legs completely burnt out. The flesh present inside his legs rotted and dissolved to dust, leaving Luke legless, before golden flesh started to form from his waist and travel towards his legs. The flesh kept adding till it was easily twice as thick as Luke's legs. That is when the flesh shined a bright golden colour. When the light died down, I saw that a new layer of skin had formed over the flesh. It was a colour that was not as tanned as Luke's skin, yet seemed much smoother.

Next was his hands as the same thing happened to them. The worst part was that even when the flesh of his hands was rotting and disintegrating, he didn't let go of my hand. Let's just say that I became the first being to puke in a dimension portal. Not something I am proud of, but hey! A record is a record.

Finally it was his head that started to change. Luke's skin and even the skull rotted and nothingness, making me want to puke again, but somehow, I managed to control myself.

His skull started to form slowly, the structure enlarging till it was the size of three human skulls. Then, the skin on the skull started to cover it.

When the new body of Kronos was complete, I took a look at his face. Kronos had raven black hair, no surprise there, considering that three of his sons and one of his daughters had the same hair.

The hair was long, long enough to tie in a ponytail. He had the signature high cheekbones that each and every member of the big three had. But his nose was longer than normal. It did not actually look weird, but it sure did give his smile an added evil look.

In total, I would say that he stood about twenty feet tall, with a respectable amount of muscles on his body.

What happened next is something that I will never be able to forget in whatever life I had left after this. His eyes snapped open as a golden glow enveloped his body. The eyes were golden just like I knew, but in his true form, I could finally see why everyone was so afraid of the Titan king.

The golden eyes were so bright, I was willing to bet my left hand that they could easily reflect light and blind a poor sod standing near him. The golden orbs held a vast amount of experience, but that was where the positivity of his eyes ended. His eyes held a level of cruelty and sadism that I had never seen before. A small glint at the corner of his pupils showed me the cunningness that he had. The cruelty in his eyes promised pain to any person that double crossed him, or even a person that he didn't particularly like.

Honestly, the golden orbs completely and truly frightened me. His eyes landed on me and I saw his lips curl up in a snarl. "You!! You ruined everything. Every fucking thing. You could have just stayed down and admitted defeat for once. But no, you had to defy death itself, and rise to your feet even after being stabbed in your Achilles heel. But not now. Now, I will truly destroy you once and for all. You, Perseus Jackson, will be the first mortal to be subjected to my complete aura of power in my true form."

My eyes widened as he started to glow with an even brighter golden colour. I could feel his aura of power expanding every second, making me gasp as I was suffocated under the overwhelming aura.

It took a full minute for his bloody aura to finally reach it's peak. By this time, I was having an extremely hard time even staying conscious. Kronos wasn't lying about being the strongest Titan. His aura of power made my dad's aura look like that of a minor god's.

With a final roar, Kronos finally presented his full aura of power. The aura hit me with the force of a running bullet train, making me let out a scream of pain. It was a wonder that I hadn't already been incinerated by being subjected to his true form. Wait a second. Why hadn't I disintegrated even after seeing his true form?

In a last, ditch attempt to kill Kronos, I uncapped Riptide and tried to stab him in the chest, right where his heart would be. The blade had almost reached his chest, making me smile, when his hand suddenly shot up and grabbed the blade in his bare palm.

Smirking at me evilly, Kronos applied a huge amount of pressure on the blade. With a snap, Riptide broke into two pieces, with the smaller one flying towards me and grazing my cheek.

"That puny sword won't harm me anymore, Perseus Jackson. Give up now. Accept the fact that you have been defeated." Kronos spoke while taunting me, before he started to laugh loudly.

Stopping his laughter, he immediately reached forward and grabbed my throat. "Now, it is finally time for you to die, Jackson. And this time, no miracle will save you."

Saying so, he threw me towards the portal's wall with as much force as he could.

I hit the wall and broke right through it.

The force that the wall hit me with was enough to daze me. I could feel myself slip in the realm of the unconscious. Feeling my eyes closing slowly, I tried to see where I was. That is when the air hit me. It was definitely the natural air from…. Earth.

I couldn't do anything else other than trying to keep my eyes open. The last thing that my dazed mind noticed was that I was falling down from ten thousand feet up in the air. Yet, I could do nothing about it as my eyes kept shutting, trying to render me unconscious.

Finally, after making the best effort I could, I succumbed in to my head and closed my eyes. I fell unconscious, not remembering what was going on in the real world, or that I was falling down from ten thousand feet in the air.

In my unconscious state, I didn't even register the pain that spread through my body when it hit the ground as I landed. Each and every bone in my body was broken, yet I felt no pain. My mouth was bleeding, and so was my head and my nose, yet I felt no pain. I felt absolutely nothing.

I don't know how much time it took, but eventually, my eyes snapped open. I let out a gasp when the first wave of pain finally hit me. The pain was bad, similar to what I had felt when Atlas had broken every bone in my body.

Wait. This pain was not just similar to that one. It was the same pain I had felt. Eyes widening in horror, I tried to lift my hand, but found that instead of the whole hand, I was able to lift only the shoulder. The rest of my arm hung limply under it, the broken bone poking out of the skin.

I tried to scream for help as loudly as I could, but all that came out of my mouth was a pained gasp. I tried to scream again and again, but each time, only a gasp came out of my mouth.

The pain had started to become unbearable as I lay there, waiting patiently for the sweet ending. Waiting for the cold embrace of death to get to me. I had noticed that I was lying in snow. I didn't know whether to thank my luck for the snow, or to curse it. While it had saved me, the snow would just be subjecting me to an even more painful death if no one found me lying here and helped me.

Just as I was about to close my eyes and wait for my death, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching me. They were far heavier than that of a man, which scared me as there was a possibility that it was a wild animal, or worse, a monster. God knows that if a monster found me here, the beast would rip me apart and eat me.

Some of my worries were elevated when I heard a deep voice ask, "Anyone there? I heard some sounds from here."

I tried to scream, but just like last time, it came out as gasps and whistles. There was no way the person could have heard this.

Fortunately for me, the person had excellent ears and replied, "Ohh. Wait a moment. I will be there."

True to his words, a few moments later, a man walked out from over the snow hill near me. He saw me lying in the snow motionless, and immediately sprinted towards me. Except that it wasn't a sprint. It was more like what Chiron did just with human legs. Either this man wasn't a full human, or he just had a small leg disorder. Or the third option that he had just completed leg day, which was unlikely.

The man reached me and immediately crouched down to check me. After examining me properly for a few moments, he gasped. "Every single bone in your body is broken. One of your ribs has been punctured your lung. It is a miracle that you are even alive."

I closed my eyes, knowing that if he was mortal, there was no way he could heal me. I had let my hopes climb up a bit too high.

But the next moment, I felt a groan of pleasure escape my lips as I felt the bones iny right leg start to reform and reattach themselves. It was so great, that even a few moans of pleasure escaped my lips.

I opened my eyes and saw the man just place his palm on my left leg. Yet again, the bones started to mend, sending the same relief and pleasure through my veins. "H..how?" I asked him with a raspy voice, still not able to speak properly.

The man just gave me a gentle smile. "My master is very powerful, child. This is just a small sliver of his powers. Now, keep your eyes closed and take some rest while I heal you."

I barely let out a small humming noise, not even understanding half of what he said due to my dazed state. Maybe it was the dizziness, but I think I even saw a pair of horns on the man's head.

Wondering if I had hit my head too hard when I fell, I closed my eyes and tried to get some rest. The man meanwhile, kept working on healing me with his powers. But as I tried to think about positive thoughts and take some rest, all that I could picture was the image of Koios stabbing my parents and Kronos throwing Annabeth into the portal. It was worse than any nightmare I had ever experienced as a few tears made their way down my cheeks.

I felt the man stop healing my left leg and move up to my torso. But, he stopped immediately and a moment later, I felt him wipe my tears away with some kind of cloth that was extremely soft.

"What happened, child? Why the crying?" He asked me gently, not at all prying. His voice sounded sympathetic, like he really wanted to help me, but didn't know how to.

Opening my eyes, I looked in his direction. My vision was still dazed, but I could see that he was serious. Taking a deep breath, I immediately gasped as it stung my lung that had been punctured.

"Don't take deep or fast breaths. It will hurt the lung." He spoke, before placing his hand on my chest and starting to heal my ribs and shoulder blades.

"I...I just lost some people that I love. And, now I have no way to get back to them, as I am now in a different dimension. All because of the actions of an evil entity, my grandfather. And now you think I am probably crazy or drunk." I said, after thinking about how crazy and delirous my story actually sounded.

"No I don't. Believe me, child. I have seen and heard weirder stuff than this is my long life. Also, try to take a deep breath now." He spoke, and I immediately took in a deep breath. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt even slightly this time.

"Wow. That is some extremely fast healing." I complimented him, as he smiled and nodded.

"Told you. My master is an extremely strong being." He spoke in response, as he completed healing both of my hands.

Finally, he moved to my head and started to heal it with his powers. It felt like I was getting the best head massage while taking a sound sleep.

After about twenty seconds, he pulled his hands away and stood up. "There. It is healed now. Try standing up, child." He spoke.

I tried to sit up, expecting to feel some pain. But to my surprise, I was able to sit up straight without any sort of pain. Smiling slightly, I stood up and faced the man. Stretching my hands and legs, I heard the satisfying popping sounds. Same with the back.

Turning to the man, I was shocked to see that he did really have horns on his head. "Uhh. Thank you very much for healing me, good sir. Though, may I know your name and the name of this place please?" I asked him.

He smiled and nodded. "My name is Nandi. And this place is the abode of my master."

Then raising his arms to his side, he spoke,

"Welcome to Mount Kailash. The abode of the Mahadev."

Just to make it clear, the Indian pantheon will not play any important role in the story. Only the next chapter will include the Indian gods. with chapter 5, we move to ancient Greece for the original Titanomachy.

I know that the chapter was a bit dark, heck it was the darkest chapter I have ever written. But, I really enjoyed writing something new and different from my usually positivity-radiating chapters, and I seriously hope you guys enjoyed reading it.
