Summary:- Ash battles the Team Substitutes. Some talks with Ryo. And Ash...finally gets rewarded lol?
It had been a day since the Qualifiers Tournament had reached its conclusion. And there are only three days remaining for Team Japan before their journey to China to face their first opponent in the World Championship.
"Huhh!" Yu exclaimed with wide eyes, his jaw hanging open.
"Is this...is this true??!!" Masamune shouted, his eyes filled with hope as they looked at Tsubasa.
"Yes" Tsubasa said simply as he looked at them. He had just told them the Director's plan of having two substitutes for Japan.
Both of their faces lit up with joy as they cheered "Yeah!!" Yu cheered.
"That's more like it" Masamune agreed with a grin "How would Team Japan fair in the World League without the Number 1 Blader at its side"
The others sweatdropped at this while Ash's face faulted at Masamune's words.
"I can't believe I fell for his words of him being the strongest" Ash thought shaking his head. He had just come to B-Pit along with Kenta to meet Gingka, just to find this surprise.
"Well it's great either way" Ash said smiling "We can all go together and win this thing" He then frowned as he looked at Benkei and Kenta "I am sorry for you guys though"
They waved him off with Kenta saying "It's fine. We would be cheering you all the way"
"Still it's great that you are coming with us Yu" Gingka smiled at the Youngest member of the team causing Masamune to scowl.
"Hey what about me? Am I invisible or something?" The owner of Ray Striker complained.
"Nah you are just annoying" Yu taunted with a teasing smirk causing Masamune to growl.
The others sighed and shook their heads with Ash getting an idea.
"Hey Yu" Ash called, gaining the other's attention "Wanna have a Battle with me?"
Yu's face lit up as he agreed instantly "Of course!". He has been itching to go a round with Ash ever since he had seen his latter's battle with Kyoya.
The others too were interested as they perked up at the mention of the battle.
"Hey what about me?" Masamune complained.
"Well you can battle me too" Ash shrugged unbothered.
"Huh?" The others were confused causing Ash to smirk.
"What I mean..." Ash took out his Bey and pointed it at them "That I would take both of you at the same time. Let's see how good our substitutes are"
"You are on" Masamune and Yu agreed immediately before glaring at each other causing others to look at them.
"Ahhh..." Benkei blinked "Are they forgetting that this is a two on one Battle. Which means they would have to work together? I mean they can barely tolerate each other's company without fighting. How would they work together??"
"Looks like it" Tsubasa said smiling "When challenged to a Battle they tend to not notice things"
A few minutes later they were standing before the Bey Stadium of a nearby Park.
"Remember this is a Two on One Battle" Ash said as he placed Ghidorah on his Launcher "Show me your teamwork"
"Teamwork?!" Yu yelped as he shot a look at Masamune.
"But why? We thought we would battle you" Masamune said with annoyance.
"You argreed to a two on one battle Masamune" Gingka interrupted.
"Which means that both of you are on the same team against Ash" Kenta said as Madoka opened her Laptop.
"Oh come on!!" Both of them groaned out in annoyance.
"Come on think of this as a practice" Ash said "What would happen if there were Tag Team Battles in the World League?"
Ash from his experience in Pokemon Battlings knew that Tag Team Battles are one of the hardest forms of Battles there is because of the amount of coordination and strategies required by both Partners.
And he from his searching also knows that Tag Team Battles does occur in Beyblade. So he doesn't want to leave any chances.
"Ash is right" Tsuabasa said "Tag Team battles while rare isn't unheard of. It can happen in the Championships"
"Ahhh fine" Yu groaned "If I can battle Ash then I would pair up with Mr Buttinski here"
"You pipsqueak!! Again with the name calling?!" Masamune growled.
"Enough!" Ash said exasperated. The two of them grumbled but took on their launching positions.
"This is a two on one battle" Madoka called out "Which means that Masamune and Yu would win if either of their Bey's were last standing. While Ash would need to defeat both of them to win"
"Understood" All three of them said.
"Now ready?!" Madoka shouted "Set!"
"3..." Gingka and others shouted.
"Two..." Masamune shouted.
"One..." Yu clenched his teeth.
"Let it Rip!!" Ash shouted as they all launched their Beys.
All three of their Beys zoomed in the stadium with breakneck speed with Libra and Striker following Ghidorah.
"Ash didn't occupy the center like previous matches" Gingka said a bit surprised.
"Of course" Kenta nodded "Can't expect him to repeat his same strategy over and over again"
"Go Striker!"
"You too Libra!"
Both Beys followed their opponent however Ghidorah was just too fast for them.
"With that lame speed you can forget about taking Ghidorah on" Ash said smiling as Ghidorah zoomed throughout the field.
"It's too fast" Masamune clenched his teeth and shouted "Go Striker!"
"Go Libra!" Yu shouted in encouragement. Libra's tip sparkled a little as it increased its speed to strike Ghidorah.
Unfortunately for them, Yu wasn't trained enough to handle Libra with that speed and soon it wobbled...
...and hit Striker instead which was just behind it.
"Oh no!" Kenta's eyes widened.
"Libra wasn't used to that Speed!" Gingka exclaimed.
"It's tip got off balance" Madoka looked at her laptop.
"No Libra hang in there" Yu shouted eyes widened as he accidentally hit his partner "Control yourself"
"You hit me, you idiot!" Masamune shouted "Get out of here!"
"It was an accident!!" Yu defended himself.
"As if! I knew you did that on purpose!" Masamune shouted back.
"Come on guys!" Kenta shouted as he watched them arguing "Stop arguing with yourselves"
"Get your heads in the game" Tsubasa called out especially to Yu. But it was too no avail as they continued their argument.
"What are they doing?!" Gingka exclaimed in annoyance watching them fight.
"Ha! They have lost it" Benkei grinned.
"It was an accident your idiot!" Yu shouted in annoyance.
"I don't care!" Masamune snorted back "Steady yourself or I would steady you"
As if responding to Masamune's words, Striker hit Libra causing to wobble further.
"Why you?!" Yu growled "Go Libra!!". Libra attacked Striker right back.
"Ohh that's how you wanna play then?!" Masamune shouted as Striker attacked Libra right back.
Soon they began fighting one another, their opponent forgotten.
"What the hell are they doing?!" Kenta shouted.
"They are fighting amongst themselves" Tsubasa sighed with annoyance.
Meanwhile Ash just looked at the fight with disappointment and decided to end this.
"You idiots! I am your opponent!" Ash shouted as Ghidorah suddenly took a turn. Instead of zooming across the stadium, it made for the center.
There it spun two rounds gaining speed before again zooming from the center and right behind Striker and Libra.
"Finish it" Ash said dissapointed as Ghidorah hit both Beys sending them flying and out of the stadium.
"No Libra!" Yu shouted.
"Striker!!" Masamune yelled as the Beys fell on front of them.
"Striker and Libra is Stadium out which means Ash is the winner" Madoka declared as the others were stunned.
"In a single hit" Gingka muttered in awe seeing both Yu and Masamune defeated in a single attack.
"And without any special moves" Benkei whistled.
Both Masamune and Yu looked stunned as the result as Ash looked at them.
"What was that?!" Ash shouted at them "It was pathetic! You two are representing our country, so act like it!"
Both of them looked down in shame.
"Let's do it again" Ash said.
"Wait" Yu called suddenly causing others to look at him "We need time to discuss strategy"
"Strategy huh" Masamune muttered.
"Okay" Ash shrugged "Take your time"
They watched as Masamune and Yu took a few steps back from the stadium and began conversing with hushed voices. Even though Ash could use his Aura to strengthen his hearing to hear them, he didn't do it as it would be unfair.
Instead he just watched them discuss animatedly.
"What do you think they are cooking?" Kenta wondered.
"Whatever it is, I hope its better be good" Benkei shrugged.
"Otherwise Ash would crush them again" Gingka added.
Tsubasa meanwhile were staring at Ash "Who really are you?"
Suddenly they heard Masamune shout "That would work!".
"Don't shout it loudly idiot!" Yu hissed as they turned to look at them before speaking in hushed voices.
The others sweatdropped at their antics knowing these two would never learn.
Finally after 5 minutes of discussing they went back to the Stadium with confidence in their stride.
"We are ready now" Masamune said confidently.
"Yeah this time we will knock you out!!" Yu declared.
"Well then let you Bey do the talking" Ash shrugged and pointed at the Stadium where Ghidorah was still spinning from the last Battle as Ash hadn't recalled it.
They took their launching position as Madoka asked "Wait Ash would you not launch Ghidorah?"
"Ghidorah didn't took any damage last time so he would be fine" Ash shrugged causing others to look surprised.
"But Ghidorah has been spinning for 5 minutes" Gingka said astonished at his friend's words of not restarting.
"So?" Ash drawled shrugging "He will be fine"
"Ha! We will make you eat those words after we knock you out" Masamune clenched his teeth.
"Yeah yeah" Ash shrugged as Yu looked at Masamune ignoring Ash's words.
"Ready?" Yu said as he attached Libra.
"I am but stick to the plan" Masamune said back causing Yu to nod.
"Ready set!" Madoka shouted "3...2...1"
"Let it Rip!" Both Yu and Masamune launched their Beys towards the Stadium where Ghidorah was still spinning.
"Let's see what you two really got this time around. Don't disappoint me" Ash said with a smile causing his opponents to smirk back.
"Oh don't worry we won't. Because we are ready" Yu grinned "Go Libra!"
At Yu'a command Libra quickly took the Center, spinning really fast.
"Special Move Sonic Wave!" Yu commanded as Libra began to vibrate rapidly and send jets of pure sonic booms across the field and towards Ghidorah.
The Sonic Blasts hit Ghidorah causing the Bey to wobble but it managed to tank the blasts of pure air.
"Dodge them my friend" Ash commanded as Ghidorah zoomed and dodged the oncoming attacks. Ash's training of dodging Aura Spheres coming in handy.
"Go Libra! Don't let it take a moment to rest!" Yu shouted as Libra sent more Sonic Booms forcing Ghidorah to dodge them.
"It would not work against me!" Ash shouted "Keep dodging them!". Ghidorah zoomed as it dodged more attacks.
"I wasn't trying to" Yu grinned causing Ash to look at him in confusion "Are you forgetting about someone?"
"Who..." Ash's eyes widened.
"Yeah have you forgotten about me?!" Masamune yelled "Go Striker! Now's our chance"
Ray Striker was surrounded by electricity which coated its energy ring as it charged at Ghidorah.
The others watching have their eyes widened at the strategy.
"Those attacks weren't aimed at Ghidorah!" Benkei shouted as he finally realized what's happening.
"Yu never wanted to hit Ghidorah" Gingka said with wide eyes "It only wanted to disbalance and distract Ash and push it towards the edge by having Ghidorah constantly dodge its attacks"
"So that Masamune could finish it off with his special move" Kenta finished not believing that Masamune and Yu, who hated each other, managed to cook up such a Synchronized plan by themselves.
"Excellent plan!" Madoka and Tsubasa declared with astonishment especially Tsubasa who always thought Masamune as a reckless blader especially after their match in the Tournament.
"Lightning Sword Flash! Knock it out of there!" Masamune shouted as Striker hits Ghidorah sending it flying.
But unfortunately for them, Ghidorah landed on the stadium, wobbling with its spin slowing down but still in the fight.
"Damm it!" Masamune cursed.
"We almost had it!" Yu stomped his feet.
"How did Ghidorah survive the attack?" Gingka asked in surprise.
"I thought it was a goner for sure" Benkei said wide eyed.
"Because of this" Madoka looked at her Laptop "Remember Ghidorah's Energy ring had rubber on it."
Madoka showed them the video which is a slow motion of when Striker hit Ghidorah. It showed the moment Striker's attack hit, Ghidorah spun so the attack hit on its rubber side of the energy ring instead of the metal.
"Rubber is a great insulator for Electricity" Tsubasa realised with wide eyes.
"And rubber is also a good absorber of kinetic energy" Gingka continued his eyes equally as wide.
"Which meant that all the energy and electricity of Striker's attack was absorbed by Ghidorah" Kenta finished.
Masamune and Yu, who heard those words, couldn't help but clench their teeth in frustration at their failure.
"That was an excellent strategy" Ash praised "Too bad it won't work on me"
"You will see!" Yu shouted "This wasn't the only strategy we made"
"That's right! I will show you Striker's true power and the power of the Number 1 Blader!" Masamune shouted "Yu do it!"
"Go Libra!" Yu shouted "Use Inferno Blast!"
Just as Yu said a huge vortex of Green energy erupted in the field as it tried to suck everything inside.
"If we can't knock you out of the Stadium then we will knock you in the Stadium!" Masamune shouted "Go Striker! Lighting Sword Flash!"
Striker once again surrounded itself into electricity, it's speed going off the charts as it easily resisted Libra's pull.
"A pincer attack?! It look it's similar to what Tsubasa did in the Tournament" Kenta shouted as they recalled how Tsubasa had smashed Striker into the Internet Blast to knock both of them out in the Tournament.
"They really cooked up two plans as a contingency" Benkei was surprised "That's impressive"
"Excellent strategy by them" Tsubasa called out impressed "They took out my strategy and improvised it. And made a contingency plan if their first attack plan failed"
"Go knock Ghidorah into the vortex!" Masamune shouted as Striker hits Ghidorah and sending it hurling towards the green vortex of energy.
"The match is ours" Yu cheered.
"Don't cheer till this match's truly over!" Ash shouted as his eyes glowed "Ghidorah!"
Ghidorah roared as it was enveloped in golden flames.
"Go into that Inferno Blast!" Ash shouted as Ghidorah charged at Libra.
"What?!!!" The others shouted in surpise.
"Why is he going towards the attack!" Gingka asked shocked "It would knock Ghidorah out"
"Going with the flow is better than going against the flow" Ash said determined "If Ghidorah can't escape the current then it will go with the current and plow the enemy"
The others eyes widened as they heard Ash's words.
"Looks like Masamune and Yu aren't the only ones who learned from me" Tsubasa called out as he remembered how his boast of Masamune had knocked both it and Libra out in that match.
"So Masamune thanks for the energy boast" Ash said smiling darkly "Go Ghidorah Thunder Slash!"
Using the momentum boast caused by Masamune's attack, Ghidorah charged at Libra and sliced through the Inferno Blast and struck the opponent causing an explosion.
"No Libra!!" Yu shouted as Libra was sent flying and out of the stadium.
"Libra has been stadium out" Madoka declared with a smile.
"Oh no Libra" Yu whined as he picked his Bey up .
"One down and another one to go" Ash said tonelessly as Ghidorah sparkled and zoomed in the Center and then picked up speed and got right behind Striker.
"It won't be easy!" Masamune shouted "Go Striker!!"
Striker charged right towards Ghidorah as lightning cracked in its armour.
"Lightning Sword Flash!! Do it" Masamune shout was matched by the neigh of the Unicorn.
"Show them who is the true King of myths!" Ash shouted as Ghidorah too got covered in Lightning "Thunder Slash!!"
Both Beys hit each other creating an explosion forcing everyone, except Ash and Tsubasa, to close their eyes as smoke blew everywhere.
The clash for power lasted only a few seconds before the Thunder Slash of the King of Dragon's overpowered the Unicorn's magical Horn and sent it flying.
"No Striker!!" Masamune shouted in horror as his Bey fell in front of him causing him to look at it with disbelief.
"Ray Striker is stadium out" Madoka declared as she pointed at Ash "Which means that the Winner of the match is Ghidorah and Ash!"
Ash smiled as Ghidorah returned to him while his opponent picked up his defeated Bey with a dissapointed look on his face.
"Bummer we lost again" Yu complained.
Masamune just clenched his fist as he stared at Striker.
"Don't be down on dumbstruck guys" Ash's voice called them to look up. They were surprised to see there was a smile on his face.
"Huh?" Both of them stared at him in confusion causing Ash to smile.
"You two in limited time manage to make two strategies that almost worked" Ash said with a smile "That was great. Your attacks were Synchronized like true partners"
"Yeah. The second move with Inferno Blast was very creative" Tsubasa's calm voice complimented.
"Too bad you two lost though" Kenta added "But it's Ash we are talking about. What do you expect?"
"Stop flattering me Kenta" Ash chuckled causing the greenhead to grin back "They did a great job with the limited time they had"
Both Masamune and Yu were smiling now hearing all the complements.
"Of course what do you expect from me" Masamune bragged causing others to sigh.
"And here they go again" Gingka sighed at Masamune's boasting but there was amusement in his voice.
"There are still three days left before we leave" Ash said as his smile turned into a small smirk "So we have plenty of time for practice and improvement"
"Yeah" Gingka clenched his fists "Three days of just Blading with friends? You can count me in!!"
"This is a great idea" Tsubasa nodded with a small smile, a bit happy that he was included in this "It will help us to know each other's strength and weaknesses and cover them up"
"We will help too" Kenta said immediately.
"We may not be in the Team but we are still in your side" Benkei said with determination.
The others cheered and Ash couldn't help but smile.
For the next three days they did nothing but training all of them spending time together and bonding with each other.
Finally the day arrived which Ash was dreading. Someone had finally asked him the question.
"Who are you?" Director Ryo Hagane asked. The man had invited Ash in his personal suite to talk to him. And they were the only ones here.
Ash stayed silent.
"We searched high and low. From databases from all over the World yet we didn't find any information about you. Where you are from, your parents, your birth date. Nothing. Not even a peep" Ryo's eyes bored down on him from his impressive height "It's like you just popped into existence from nowhere"
Ash sighed tiredly as he looked at him with an amused look.
"You are right Director" Ash spoke softly "I did pop out from nowhere"
Before Ryo could ask what he meant by that, Ash's eyes glowed with a Golden flare as a wave of energy enveloped the Room as the wall glowed in a golden hue.
"What the hell?!" Ryo shouted in disbelief as he leaped up from his chair "Hikaru!"
"Don't bother Director" Ash said calmly "I did that so that we can have some privacy. No one could hear our voices now"
Ryo glared at him as he growled "Tell me what are you?". He is thinking if Ash was linked with that cursed organization Dark Nebula.
"I am a Human. That I could assure you" Ash said calmly "Just not the type of Human you are familiar with"
"No Human could do what you did" Ryo shouted with disbelief "This...this is sorcery!!"
"You use powerful destructive spinning toys as sports and you are calling me sorcerer?" Ash said amused silencing Ryo "And as I said. I am not like other Humans of this World. Because I am not from this World"
Ryo's eyes widened as his heart dropped and a cold feeling clenched inside his gut.
"Yes director I am not from this Universe let alone this World" Ash said amused at the reaction of Gingka's father "Which is why you cannot find anything about me in your database"
Ryo opened his mouth to say something but then closed it. He gaped like a fish for a few seconds before stuttering out "Why...why have you come here?!"
"For nothing nefarious I assure you" Ash smiled "I am just a bit interested in Beyblading. And I want to help my new friends achive the Title of World Champions"
Ryo didn't say anything but he slowly sat down in the chair signifying that he was listening.
"Believe me Director. I may not know Gingka and others for long but the time I have spent with them were some of the best" Ash said softly "They are my friends and I will do anything for their sakes. Anything!!"
The Director looked at him. He doesn't know why but Ash's words sounded so true to him.
Ryo sighed as he looked at him "I...I don't know what to say" He admitted "I am just sitting in front of an alien who is also a Human"
Ash laughed "I am a human, that I can assure you. But not the native as your World or your Universe" He smiled as he offered his hand "I would love to give you more information. But...not right now"
Ash's hand glowed as he touched Ryo's shoulder causing the man to yelp as he scooted back.
"What did you do?" Ryo shouted again.
"A little trick" Ash shrugged "I made sure that you can't say anything about our conversation to anyone. I don't want others to find out at least now"
"And...and if I try to say to someone?!" Ryo challenged.
"Then you will forget all our Conversation because of the memory seal that I placed on you" Ash said bluntly "The moment you say something you will forget everything that happened here"
Ryo gulped as he finally understood how powerful Ash was but he sighed and accepted it even though he didn't like it.
"Well I will be going now" Ash said as he stood up "Tomorrow's a big day and I wanna have some rest tonight"
With that he deactivated his Aura and opened the door coming face to face with Hikaru, who was standing outside.
"Goodnight Hikaru" Ash smiled cheerfully causing the girl to smile back softly as she watched the raven haired boy leaving the room.
Hikaru then entered the room and looked at the haggard looking Director.
"I don't know why I couldn't hear any voices" She looked at him in concern "Was everything okay, Director?"
"Everything is fine Hikaru" Ryo sighed feeling bad at lying. He wanted to say it but he knows that if he did that then Ash's weird power would wipe out his memory of whatever little he knew.
"Everything's fine"
Ash, meanwhile made his way towards the Hotel, feeling a little bad. He had almost strong armed his way with Ryo.
He knows that if Gingka found out about this he would be very upset.
"But it is for the best" Ash muttered. But best for whom he didn't know.
He took the riverside path towards the Hotel, and his eyes fell on the familiar figure of Benkei, Kenta and Gingka with the former two having a Bey match against the later.
"A farewell Battle huh?" Ash said amused and left them to their own devices not wanting to interfere in their moment.
He returned to the Hotel and told Helena that he would be checking out tomorrow as he would be leaving Japan.
"Oh" The beautiful receptionist muttered feeling down. Then she brightened "Well congratulations I guess. You are going to the World Championships"
Ash nodded with a smile and wished a Good night to her. But before he could leave, she called "By the way can you come to this Room after an hour?"
She gave him a Key to room number 4 and winked at him.
"Why?" He asked suspiciously.
"I want to give you a present for coming first in the Tournament" She said innocently. Very innocently.
Ash looked a bit confused and suspicious but shrugged and made his way to his own room. After having Dinner and a bath, he made his way to room number 4 as Helena had asked.
Ash found the door unlocked but still he knocked on the Door and heard a soft "Come in"
He cautiously entered the room but his jaw dropped when he saw the figure on the bed.
It was Helena wearing a two piece and nothing else, as she showed of her curves.
"Come here, Champ" She whispered as she beckoned him with her finger "Here is your farewell present"
Ash felt his blood travel South as he slowly closed the door and locked it. He made his way towards the bed and just stared at her.
"Well..." She whispered seductively, blinking at him.
Ash ripped open his own clothing and jumped on the bed.
Then from the Room Number 4, only the sounds of moans and groans echoed throughout the whole night.
And Done!!
So Ash battled Masamune and Yu and defeated them. No surprise lol! But hey they are improving. And finally had a conversation with Gingka's daddy where he strong armed Ryo.
He revealed only some information about him but not everything. Hope you like Ryo's reaction to Aura. He was scared shitless.
And Ash finally gets a reward lol! And loses his virginity card lol! Poor Madoka! But come on Ash isn't in a relationship. He is a free meat for now!
Next chapter will be them leaving Japan and arriving in China and start of the World League. So hopefully you are ready.
