Summary:- Ash vs Kyoya...but with a twist. Ash will reveal his true powers and Kyoya will be finding out what happens when you battle a Pokemon Trainer who is making strategies since the age of 10 lol!!
Ash was in the corridor as he looked at his Bey.
"It is time partner" Ash muttered as his Bey glowed.
Similarly in the opposite end, there was another boy of 16, was doing his own preparations.
The boy was tall with tanned skin and a muscular figure. He has dark green hair that spikes high above his head along with a pony tail that drapes behind his head. He has sharp blue eyes like that of a Predator and a scar shaped like a cross going across his eyes. He had a single sharp tooth that seemed like a fang of a lion.
Kyoya Tategami stared at his Bey and muttered "Are you ready to crush your opponent Leone?!"
Rock Leone glowed in acknowledgement as Kyoya smiled "We are going all the way to the Top!"
His opponent was a new Blader who had somehow scored almost two times his Bey Points. But Kyoya doesn't care about it a bit. Defeating a bunch of weaklings doesn't make this newbie stronger than him, even if he had somehow scored two times more his score.
Kyoya had almost defeated L-Drago, had the Dark Bey not used stolen power of other Beys like Ryuga had promised not to do before the start of the fight.
Compare to the Dragon Emperor, this newbie would be nothing. Not when Kyoya had trained and returned stronger than ever before.
"We will crush them!!" Kyoya swore as he made his way out towards the stadium.
"Welcome one and all!" Blader DJ shouted excitedly as the crowd cheered "With only one ticket left, the final match to decide who the third and final member of Japan's International Team will begin...Right now!!"
Gingka and his friends were sitting in the stands, just like they did before.
"This is going to be an amazing battle" Gingka smiled.
"And no matter who wins. You will get a great Teammate, right Gingka?" Kenta smiled, though he hoped for Ash's victory.
"You bet" Gingka smiled before frowning "But still I haven't seen Ash battle yet"
"Well he did earn a 1000 points" Tsubasa said calmly "So he must be good". Though even he was eager to see how good Ash is.
Yu sighed as he looked at the stadium "What a bummer. I wanted to go to the World Championship too, you know" He sighed "I was really looking forward to have some big bad battles"
"Yeah me too" Masamune said depressed.
"Well you two still have a chance to make in the Team, remember?" Madoka assured them calmly "Any International Team consist of 3 Regular Members and 1 Submember. You two were in the Too 5, so you both still have a shot at it"
"Sub" Masamune muttered with disgust "Sub as in Substitute, doesn't it?"
"Yes it does" Yu agreed equally disgusted "And I refuse to be substitute! Just sitting around without even participating in any battle would be so lame!
"You are not lame, Yu" Madoka assured with a nervous chuckle.
"Still it's better than no battle at least" Masamune muttered, his eyes fired up to at least earn the spot of a Substitute.
They were silent for a while before Masamune asked curiously "So between this Kyoya and Ashura...who do you think is the strongest?"
The others thought about it before Gingka replied "Kyoya is one of the most powerful blader in Japan. He faces his opponent with a burning spirit and tremendous power" He faltered "Though I don't know much about Ash"
Everyone turned to Kenta who knew Ash best amongst them. Seeing this the greenhead answered thoughtfully "I haven't seen Ash go all out...but one thing I have noticed in all his battles"
The others were intrigued by it and Tsubasa asked curiously "And what is that?"
"He is a great strategist" Kenta said seriously "It's like he can figure out opponent's weaknesses as well as their plans. And just counters them as easily as a bird flies"
The others were surprised by it.
"It is true" Benkei nodded grudgingly "We fought 16 times and he defeted me easily each time and each time with different tactic. He changes his strategies mid fly"
"So he is unpredictable?" Tsubasa summarised.
"Tell me about it" Benkei growled "In the qualifiers I alongside Tetsuya, Teru, Ryutaro and Tobio fought him at the same time. He trashed us all!!"
The others eyes widened at Benkei's words.
"Holy damm!" Gingka whistled in awe. Benkei himself is a strong opponent and Ash defeating all of the Battle Bladers at the same time...
"Still Kyoya got this!!" Benkei shouted "He will win!!"
"Can't you kiddos quite down a little" A calm voice from behind interjects causing them to turn behind to see two figures.
One of the figures is a small boy. He has blue hair tied back into a plated pony tail. He wears a purple kimono with a red trim, yellow cuffs and a dark orange circle with a red gecko along with a green jade prayer bead necklace and white pants. He also wears a hat that is purple with a yellow trim, and inside is a red with a green small ball on top that matches his kimono. He has reddish brown eyes and peach skin.
The other figure is a female figure. She is a short, pale skinned, mid aged girl that has teal hair and hair styled in "ox horns" which is similar to the boy's hairstyle. She has purple eyes and wears a reddish-pink Chinese dress with a yellow trim, it also has pink heart buttons that are connected to each other by yellow strips and underneath her dress are navy blue leggings. She also wears a white belt with small yellow buttons, and an orange crest as well as wears white, fingerless gloves. She has a green band on her arm and wears large white socks and darkish blue and a little light blue boots.
"Chiyun and Mei-Mei?" Gingka asked surprised.
"What are you doing here?" Madoka asked in surprise.
"Oh nothing" Mei-Mei said smiling "We are just here to watch who the third member of Japan's Team would be"
"So you are spying on us?" Masamune accused.
"Learning about the strong members of other countries is important" Chiyun said calmly "It isn't cheating...it's just strategy. A key to victory"
"He means that watching others battle is part of training too" Mei-Mei said "We would be facing each other in the World Championship after all"
Before anyone could reply to their words, DJ shouted "All right! Let's get this party started shall we?! Of course we shall! After all that's why we are here!!"
The crowd cheered as one of the doors in the stadium opened up and Kyoya walked out.
"First we have our Fan Favorite Blader, one of the Semi-Finalists of The Battle Bladers and ranked Second in Qualifiers!!" DJ shouted "It's none other than the King of Beasts. The one and only Kyoya Tategami and his partner Rock Leone!!"
Kyoya walked towards the stage. His chest puffed up in confidence and his gait that of a roaring Lion ready to pounce on its prey.
"He looks so relaxed and confident" Madoka commented.
"Looks like he has been training" Gingka nodded at Kyoya's roughed up appearance and tattered clothing and cloak. His eyes holding nothing but pure respect and admiration for his Rival.
Chiyun and Mei-Mei stared at Kyoya with a serious look. Knowing that he could be their future opponent.
"And we have our second participant. The mysterious Wild Horse who appeared from nowhere but still shook us all by claiming the First Place" DJ yelled "He is mysterious but his charm had already charmed half the audience! So give it to our Prince Of Battles!! Ashura Ketchum and his Bey, Fusion King Ghidorah!!"
The crowd cheered especially the Females who all squealed as Ash made his way to the Stadium.
Mei-Mei's eyes turned to hearts as she stared at the Blader.
"Ohhh he is so handsome!!" Mei-Mei blushed "Is he single?"
"Mei-Mei??" Chiyun was weirded out "He could be our future opponent"
Mei-Mei recovered quickly as she shook her blush away while the others were weirded out by her actions.
Madoka meanwhile just clenched her teeth at Mei-Mei's words but she didn't say anything.
Meanwhile both Ash and Kyoya made their way to the stadium while DJ said "Now to begin...wait" He paused as he touched his earbud.
The crowd was confused at what was happening but fortunately for them, DJ recovered and shouted "We have some news from the WBBA headquarters folks! It looks like the rules had been changed a little and instead of a regular Battle, it would be a 3 Point Battle"
Everyone was shocked at this.
"A three point Battle?" Masamune asked in surprise as he took out a packet of chips.
"According to rules there is 1 Point for Survivor Finish and 2 points for Stadium out" Madoka said surpised "It means that even if one scored a Stadium Out finish the opponent would still have another chance to make a comeback"
"A comeback with new strategy to win" Kenta said "Which means this Battle just got a lot tougher for both of them"
"You think there would be three point rules in the World Championship too?" Yu asked curiously.
"I don't know. But hopefully not. It would turn all Battles very taxing for teams" Tsubasa said as he looked at the VIP Box. He had a pretty good idea why the rules were changed.
Meanwhile in the VIP Box, Hikaru stared at Ryo.
"Was that wise Director?" Hikaru asked cautiously "Changing the rules? We have already faced criticism when we changed it to include Top 5 Qualifiers instead of Top 4?"
"I know what I am doing Hikaru" Ryo said calmly his eyes on Ash "Believe me. It's the only way"
"Show me what you are" Ryo thought "Show me your true strength and secrets"
Both Bladers made their way to the stadium as DJ Yelled "Are all of you as excited as I am?!!!"
The crowd yelled as Masamune cheered loudly "Of course we are!!"
"Go Kyoya!!" Benkei yelled.
"Go Ashura!!" Kenta yelled back trying to surpass Benkei's shout.
"Now Remember this would be a Three Point Battle, so even if someone got a Stadium put finish for the first time his opponent would still have another chance" DJ explained the rules again "The one who would collect three points first would win!!"
"Understood" Ash muttered as he fixed Ghidorah on his launcher.
"Hmm" Kyoya grunted as he did the same with Leone, his sharp eyes analyzing his opponent as he taunted "Are you ready to face defeat at the hands of the King of Beasts?"
"What is a King of Beast compared to a King of Dragons?" Ash retorted with a smirk.
Hearing the word "Dragon" triggered a dark memory inside Kyoya which he was suppressing ever since his previous defeat in by hands of another Dragon user in the Semi Finals of Battle Bladers.
"I will enjoy wiping the smirk off your pretty face when I tear you into pieces. You are very lucky it's a three point battle...or unlucky as I am going to destroy and humiliate you twice!!" Kyoya growled showing his fangs "Any blader who would come in my way would be crushed"
"We have come a long way" Kyoya thought his face darkening, dark thoughts flashing across his mind.
He thought of his previous defeat and shook his head.
"We have trained hard. We had trained until our bones had broken, Leone. We would win this" Kyoya's mind flashed to his Training at the cliffs and then to his number 1 Rival who he wants to defeat at any costs "We will defeat any blader who comes in between our goals"
"We will crush you" Kyoya growled as green Aura surrounded him and his Bey.
"We will see who crushes whom" Ash said grinning as he took his launching style causing gasps of surprise to echo across the stadium. Even Kyoya is a bit surprised at the pose.
"What's this??!!" The DJ yelled in the microphone "I have never seen such a launching style before anywhere in this World?!"
In the stands those who were seeing Ash's style for the first time were surprised.
"What's he doing?" Yu asked in surprise.
"What type of launching position is that?" Masamune looked confused, then shrugged as he took a few more chips from the packet "Whatever it would be cool I guess"
"It's Ash's launching style" Madoka said her Laptop's Camera focused on Ash "I couldn't get enough data on it last time?"
"Why?" Mei-Mei asked, intrigued.
"Because the launcher broke" Gingka and Kenta said at the same time surprising many.
"Really?" Chiyun asked in surprise.
"Yes. Ash uses a customised Bey Launcher" Madoka said "And it's the heaviest thing I have ever lifted"
"Even I could barely lift it with two hands" Gingka muttered.
"Them how does he wield it in a single hand?" Chiyun asked as he gazed sharply at Ash's figure "He doesn't look to be struggling lifting it"
No one had an answer to that as Benkei clenched his fist "Go Kyoya!! Win this for us!!"
Back at the Stadium, Kyoya smirked toothily as he looked at Ash.
"What's this? You new way of losing?" Kyoya taunted.
"No" Ash said, his iris's flash red for a moment "It's your doom!!"
They waited for the signal to start the Battle which finally came.
"Ready!...Set!" DJ yelled. As the Screen above them shifted to the Words 'First Battle'.
"3..." Ash shouted as he gripped his launcher tightly.
"2..." Kyoya growled, his aura flashing green.
"1..." Everyone cheered.
"Let it Rip!!"
Kyoya launched his Bey while Ash did the twirling launch which caused a huge shockwave which blew dust all around the stadium.
Kyoya stumbled back a little as both Beys slammed into the stadium as the crowd recovered from the shockwave to cheer.
"My God!!" DJ yelled, stunned "Did you see the shockwave from the launch folks?!"
"Damm!!" Yu, Masamune, Mei-Mei and Chiyun all exclaimed.
"Amazing powers" Tsubasa muttered, a drop of sweat sliding down his forehead as his thoughts raced.
"Just who the hell is Ash?" Tsubasa thought his eyes, straying towards the VIP Section, where Director Ryo was no doubt watching "I hope you can get all the information from this Director"
After all Tsubasa had no doubt why Director twerked the Round to a three point Battle instead of traditional Battle. He wants every information on Ash.
Madoka's computer beeped as she looked at the screen.
"Look at it guys!" Madoka shouted as the Screen showed the reviewing of Ash's launch "Ash's hand moved faster than the speed of sound to create the shockwave...It's incredible"
"That's some power" Gingka muttered.
"Imagine if he punched us with that strength" Masamune said chewing on the chips "We would be toast"
"Then you better behave yourself in front of him, Masamune" Yu said smirking causing Masamune to glare at him hatefully "Because you would be one he would surely love to punch. I mean you have a pretty irritating face which is very punchable"
"Why...?" Masamune growled about to snap at Yu but Tsubasa broke the fight.
"Enough!" Tsubasa chided "Focus on the battle"
Back at the stadium the battle had begun as Ghidorah blazed with power and took the Center of the stadium.
"And Ghidorah had taken the center defense" DJ yelled "What will the King of Beasts do?!"
"What else? I would crush him like a bug" Kyoya roared.
"You are welcome to try" Ash offered.
"You think you can throw me off my foot with these cheap tricks?" Kyoya rumbled "I will show you! Go Leone!!"
Rock Leone blasted towards Ghidorah and smashed into it but couldn't move it out of the Center. Instead it was Leone who was sent flying.
"Say what?!" Kyoya's eyes widened as Leone was sent flying and almost out of the stadium "Stay strong Leone!!"
"Yeah stay strong" Ash mocked "Because unfortunately for you. My so-called 'Cheap Tricks' could hurt". Kyoya growled at the taunts.
"Phew that was close" Benkei shouted, his heart beating rapidly.
"Ghidorah almost knocked out Leone in a single hit!" Gingka exclaimed a bit of shock at the power.
"And it was Leone who attacked Ghidorah not the other way around" Tsubasa said, his sweaty hands clenched in anticipation "If that was Ghidorah's defensive capabilities, just imagine what his offensive attacks would look like"
Everyone remained silent as they processed Tsubasa's words.
"Go after it Leone!!" Kyoya shouted frustrated as Leone slammed into Ghidorah with a barrage of never ending attacks like sword slices. It was like a Lion trying to tear its prey.
However all the attacks were wasted as Leone couldn't even push Ghidorah out of the center.
"How is Ash doing that?" Gingka asked surprised "Leone isn't a weak bey. But Ghidorah is tanking the attacks like it is a gentle breeze"
"Because of this. Check it out guys" Madoka shouted as she showed the computer to others "Because of Ghidorah's speed, its tip is creating a wave of static electricity and its fusion Wheel is dispersing the Electricity in its surroundings"
The Screen showed blue arches of electricity surrounding Ghidorah.
"Which means that Ghidorah is creating an invisible wall of static electricity which is acting like a cushioning forcefield" Chiyun was the first one who realised it as his eyes widened "It's acting like a dampening field whenever Leone is attacking"
Everyone was surprised by Chiyun's quick assessment as Madoka typed in her laptop.
"And that's not all" Madoka said as she zoomed in to show Ghidorah's fusion wheel "Ghidorah's wheel has rubber covering it. So what remained of Leone's energy that was not dampened was easily repelled by the rubber with any damage"
"Which means?" Tsubasa's eyes widened "That all this attack would slow Leone down...
"...Allowing Ash for a counterattack" Gingka finished, his face serious as he looked at the Battle.
"Come on Kyoya!!" Benkei yelled, desperate for his friend to win.
Kyoya meanwhile looked at the battle with disbelief. All his attacks are failing. And most important of all, Leone is losing steam.
"What happened?" Ash taunted "You were saying that you would crush me?"
Kyoya growled but stopped when he felt his hair standing a bit and a spine feeling tingle going up his arm. He was confused at what it was before his eyes widened.
It was static electricity.
His eyes looked at the Beys colliding in the stadium as he realised what was happening.
"So you figured it out?" Ash teased "Took you long enough"
"What is happening!!" DJ yelled "Leone is losing steam! Is this the end of Kyoya?!"
"Not in my watch!! No!!" Kyoya yelled "Leone!!!!"
Leone roared as the Blader Spirit of a proud Lion appeared above it. Green Aura wrapped around the Bey and its owner.
"I will crush every blader to reach the Top!!" Kyoya howled "No matter who it is!! Go Leone!!"
Leone spun as winds started to blow and wrap around the stadium.
"Special Move!!" Kyoya roared "Lion Gale Force Wall!!!!"
A huge tornado surrounded the stadium pinning Ghidorah and trying to suck it into the funnel of wind.
"Would you look at that! Kyoya is back in the game again!!" DJ yelled as the crowd cheered.
"You think a little breeze would harm a Dragon?" Ash asked "Dragons live and breathe storms for breakfast"
True to his words, the Lion Gale Force Wall couldn't do anything much. While Ghidorah did wobble at the airy onslaught it couldn't be knocked out of the stadium.
"Maybe it wouldn't but that wasn't my plan!" Kyoya smirked causing Ash to look confused "This was! Leone!!!"
Leone roared again as a Tornado started forming at its tip.
"Go Special Move! King Lion Tearing Blast!"" Kyoya shouted.
"So that was his plan!" Tsubasa said surprised "He pinned Ghidorah with the storm and aimed to finish it with a single powered Special Move"
"Great strategy" Mei-Mei looked impressed, her hands clenching a bit with nerves as she looked at Ash.
"I hope you have a counter to this" She thought, as they watched the Tornedo making Leone go upwards.
"Yeah!" Benkei cheered "Kyoya is back in the game again!!"
"Go now! Leone!" Kyoya shouted as the Tornedo surrounded Leone in Green Aura and sling it towards Ghidorah like a shooting star.
"Is this the end for Ghidorah!" DJ shouted causing Ash to smirk.
"It's not!" Ash shouted as his eyes glowed "Ghidorah Flash!!""
ZHINGG!!
Ghidorah's tip sparkled and the Bey overpowered the wind of the Gale Force Wall and shot out of the center of the Stadium at a breakneck speed...
...just in time to dodge Leone's attack which smashed into the center of the Stadium.
BOOM!!
"NO LEONE!!" Kyoya cried out in distress as Leone slammed into the Center, where Ghidorah was a few seconds ago. A huge explosion occurred as dust and debris blew out and the stadium cracked under the strain of Leone's power.
Up in the stands every stared except Benkei and Kenta stared in shock at what happened.
"What the hell?" Masamune shouted "What was that?". The attack looked familiar.
"Madoka what is happening? Are you recording this?" Gingka shouted.
"I am" Madoka typed into her Laptop furiously "But Ghidorah's speed is too much! I need time to analyze it!"
"Not that move again?!!!" Benkei shouted in frustration as Ash used the same move he previously used to defeat the group attack of Dark Bull.
"And would you look at that?!" DJ yelled "Just when we thought it was all over. Our Prodigy proved us wrong again!"
Ghidorah zoomed at breakneck speed across the stadium glowing in a golden hue as its speed seemed to increase. Even the Winds produced by Leone couldn't do anything.
"Ghidorah's power had broken through the Gale Force Wall!" DJ continued as Ghidorah turned sharply and charged at Leone.
"Oh no you don't!!" Kyoya shouted "Let's see if you could break out of this! Special Move! Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance!"
Leone, even though it was wobbling because of the damage taken, still had enough power to surround itself in a Tornedo creating a wall of windy defense.
"It's all over!" Ash howled "Ghidorah!!"
The Golden hue surrounded his Bey as the Spirit of Three Headed Dragon came into being, roaring towards the heavens.
"Show them who the true King of Dragons and Beasts is!! Special Move!!" Ash shouted his eyes glowing "Thunder Slash!!"
The Wings of Ghidorah glowed as it plowed through the Wild Wind Fang Dance, slicing through it like a hot knife through butter.
"Now Way!!" Kyoya shouted in shock and horror.
"End this!" Ash made a Slashing Motion as Ghidorah struck Leone.
SLASH!!
BOOM
An explosion occurred as Leone was sent flying out of the stadium and right in front of Kyoya's feet.
"Huh...?" Kyoya looked at his Bey in shock as the entire stadium was dead silent. One of their Favorite Balders just lost.
However DJ is the first who recovered and shouted "I can't believe it folks! Leone is sent out of the Stadium!"
The crowd steered and finally a cheering rose from the crowd as they cheered and yelled for Ash's victory.
"It's Ashura and Ghidorah who had gotten the first points with a Stadium out" DJ yelled as the score board showed 2-0 in favour of Ash "And Ashura had earned two points right of the Bat"
In the stands everyone was still shocked.
"I can't believe it" Yu muttered as he looked at the score board.
"It Overpowered Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance!!" Gingka said shocked. He still remembered the day when Kyoya used this move for the first time and it had easily overpowered Pegasus's Starblast Attack.
"Amazing" Mei-Mei said with stars for eyes.
"Impressive" Chiyun said, eyes narrowed.
"He defeated Kyoya in a single counter attack!!" Tsubasa said with disbelief.
"Kyoya pal..." Benkei muttered clenching his fists.
Then a chime was heard from Madoka's Laptop as everyone looked at it.
"Look at this" Madoka showed them the image when Ghidorah executed the move "Ghidorah's Fusion Wheel stored all the energy it had accumulated and unleashed that in a burst of power and speed"
Madoka then typed on the Laptop "Not only did this move increase Ghidorah's speed but enhanced the attack. Allowing it to plow through Leone's defenses"
"God damn!" Yu whistled.
"I still don't know why it looks familiar" Masamune said as he focused his eyes.
"Your suspicions are right Masamune because this move is very similar to Ray Striker before it does Lightning Sword Flash" Madoka explained as the Screen showed Ray Striker executing the move.
"Damm it!!" Masamune yelled angry "He copied me! This is cheating!"
"It is not" Tsuabasa said drily "Copying other's techniques is not against the rules of WBBA"
"What are you? WBBA's Secret agent?" Masamune snorted sarcastically causing those who know to sweatdrop.
"You have no idea" Tsuabasa thought, smirking a little.
"It's not a copy, Masamune. The move may look the same but the principles are way different" Madoka explained and then showed a chart "Even the power difference is huge. While Lightning Sword Flash is powerful in its own right, what Ash's Bey demonstrated eclipsed it hugely"
"So you are saying that my move which I made before this guy, is weaker than this copy?!" Masamune shouted.
"In relative words..." Madoka paused "Yes"
Masamune fell back anime style causing others to sweatdrop at his antics.
In the VIP Room, Hikaru and Ryo watched the Battle with disbelief.
"What power!" Hikaru muttered.
"It could rival Galaxy Pegasus or even surpass it" Ryo clenched his fists "And something tells me that this is not all the powers Ash had shown"
Ryo was hoping that he would force Ash to reveal his true powers. Which is why he had changed the Battle format to 3 point Battle. But still it is not the case till now.
"You are correct, Director. Ash Ketchum is mysterious but powerful" Hikaru said her eyes glazing over his handsome features "Even if he is to lose this Battle, he would be a great addition to Japan's Team as a Substitute"
"And something tells me he wouldn't be losing the Battle" Ryo said "As for mysterious. It would be a small word to describe him."
Ryo hated not knowing things and even after so much searching and scouring through files they couldn't find any mention of Ash Ketchum and where he is from or about his Bey.
Nothing. Not even a peep.
"Have you found any information about him?" Ryo asked a little anxiously.
Hikaru faltered a bit but shook her head "I am afraid not sir. There is no information on him in Japan at least. I have scoured every file at least four times" Her eyes looked concerned "I could always search it on the International Database...but you know how sensitive it is. I would need high level authorization"
"I don't really care, Hikaru" Ryo said matter of factly "Do whatever you want but bring me the information"
Back in the Stadium the crowd hadn't stopped cheering for Ash's victory and they were eagerly awaiting the next Battle.
"And that is the first Battle Folks" DJ shouted "Ash Ketchum had taken a lead of 2 points and only needed another point to win the match which means even a survivor finish would win him the match. Will he be able to do it or will Kyoya, The King of Beasts be able to make a comeback and turn the tide of the battle?"
Kyoya was staring at his Bey, his sharp eyes easily taking a small, almost unnoticeable, crack on Leone's side where Ghidorah had struck his special move.
"I was defeated by a single attack?!" Kyoya thought, clenching his fist on his Bey as his sharp eyes narrowed and he bared his teeth, letting out a growl.
"It won't happen again!!" Kyoya growled.
Ash was staring at his Bey and thought "It is time". He twisted the tip of his Bey a little, a 'snap' sound made him known.
"The Second Battle would rumble now so all of you hold your seats" DJ cried out "Ash only needs 1 point to win which he can do with a survivor finish. So the question is will the King of Beasts allow that to happen and fall again or will he take out a win in this round and turn the tide of battle and snap victory from the jaws of defeat"
"I will win!!" Kyoya howled "I will crush any blader in my path"
"Yes keep on saying that" Ash shouted with a grin "But the results would be the same just like before!!"
The air became tense as both Bladers connected their Beys with their Launchers. The Screen above them showed the Words "Second Battle".
"Ready Set!!" DJ shouted as both of them took launching positions.
"3..." DJ shouted, as Ash moved his Launcher's gear from 1st Gear to 2nd Gear.
"2..." Gingka and his gang shouted.
"1..." All the crowd shouted.
"LET IT RIP!!" Ash and Kyoya roared as they launched their Beys.
Both beys were launched into the stadium and as always Ghidorah took the Center.
"You think the same move would work on me twice in a row!!" Kyoya shouted as Leone circled the stadium "Go Leone! King Lion Tearing Blast!!"
Leone surrounded itself in a tornado and jumped into the air. It slammed into Ghidorah with tremendous force, taking it out of the Center.
"Who said that I am using the same move?" Ash shouted "Ghidorah charge!!"
Ghidorah turned swiftly and took the center again, however Leone didn't let up and charged another attack.
"You think I care?!" Kyoya roared "I will smash your Bey to pieces!!".
Leone charged another King Lion Furious Blast Shot and propelled into the air to smash against Ghidorah again. And again. And again.
"Look at this folks!!" DJ shouted "Kyoya is going all out from the very beginning with a barrage of missile attacks"
In the stands all were watching this nervously as Yu stated "If this keep up, Leone would shatter Ghidorah."
"Ghidorah has formidable defenses" Masamune nodded clenching his fists "But I doubt even it could tank so many Special Moves"
Mandoka was meanwhile just staring at the screen as she said "Something is wrong". The others turned to her "Ghidorah is taking too much damage"
"What do you mean?" Gingka asked her friend.
"It feels like Ghidorah's defenses had lowered...but" Madoka typed in her Laptop "But it's stamina and spin power looks like it has increased!"
"What?" The other asked shocked.
"Look at this" Madoka showed them as they looked at the Data.
"Ghidorah's spin speed had almost increased two times!!" Tsubasa exclaimed in shock "But how is that possible!!"
Back in the stadium, Kyoya is growing frustated as even after so many Special Attacks it looks like Leone who is losing steam.
"At this rate Ash will get a Survivor finish" Kyoya thought a trickle of sweat dripping from his forehead. With Ash already having two points lead, even a survivor finish would mean Ash's victory.
"Not on my watch!!" Kyoya thought as Green Aura surrounded him and Leone "I will end this now!!"
"Go Leone!!" Kyoya shouted as green flame erupted "Special Move!! King Lion Tearing Blast!!"
Three Tornadoes erupted from the power of Leone's fusion wheel and surrounded Ghidorah, trying to lift it in the air.
"And Kyoya had stopped holding back folks!!" DJ yelled exitedly "He had brought his second most powerful move in the show!!"
The force of the Wind caused many in the audience to close their eyes and shield themselves.
"Damm!!" Yu shouted over the roaring of the winds "And this is Kyoya's second most powerful move!!"
Gingka clenched his teeth as he watched the battle.
"This is the end of line for you!" Kyoya said with a cold smirk.
Ash looked at Kyoya emotionlessly, not minding the wind which was blowing his hair into disarray.
Then a small smile bloomed on his face confusing Kyoya.
"You really thought that I didn't think this through?" Ash said smiling "I watched all of your previous Battles. And I know your tricks"
"All you are doing is huffing and puffing" Kyoya snarled back thinking Ash is just bluffing "You have no way to break from my special attack"
"And that's what you think" Ash's smile turned darker as his eyes flashed red "Ghidorah!!"
Ash's shout was answered by Ghidorah's roar as it's Tip started to sparkle and heat up. Flames bursted as the temperature rose in the stadium.
"What the..." Kyoya stumbled back because of the heat while Ash remained unbothered. Having taken Charizard's stone and steel melting flames in the face, he was used to such heat.
"Damm God! What is happening?!" DJ yelled confused "The temperature is rapidly increasing"
"Damm it" Masamune panted as he wiped the sweet due to the increased heat.
"Someone turn on the AC please!!' Yu shouted as he wiped the sweet dripping down his cheeks.
"Ha you babies started melting in just this?" Mei-Mei mocked.
Before they could snap at the Chinese Team member, Tsubasa shouted "Guys look!!"
All of them turned only to freeze in shock as they watched the three tornedoes created by Leone started to lose steam and instead the air started getting funneled right towards Ghidorah.
"What's this?! Leone's tornedoes are losing power?!" DJ yelled as Kyoya stared at the scene in shock.
"Guys check it out!!" Madoka shouted as she showed them the screen "Ash's Bey is creating the heat by rapidly spinning"
"Hey but I thought Ghidorah was supposed to create lightning!" Kenta asked confused just like everyone else "It had never used Flames before"
"Yes...but now it's doing just that" Madoka said typing in rapidly "And look at this"
Madoka's laptop showed the Thermal imaging of the Battle. The heat produced by Ghidorah is red while the cool Tornedoes created by Leone showed in blue. However the blue is rapidly becoming red.
"Ghidorah is heating up the air which is slowly cancelling the Tornedo" Madoka said a bit shocked "But that's not all"
The screen showed the blue air funneling towards Ghidorah.
"With Ghidorah heating up the air, the warm air rises leaving low pressure behind. And the cold air produced by Leone is funneled towards Ghidorah..." Madoka's shocked tone is matched by everyone "Which means...
"...that Ghidorah is leeching powers from Leone by using Leone's own power against it" Chiyun finished, his eyes blown wide in shock, his calm persona disappearing "It's basic physics"
"And Ash used the basic physics and applied it in his Blading by leveling it up a few notches" Tsubasa continued, barely keeping his jaw from dropping in shock.
"Kenta was right when he said Ash was a master strategist" Gingka thought with shock and awe.
"Such complex strategy to use in blading" Chiyun thought "This blader is dangerous!!"
"And that's not all" Madoka continued causing many to groan.
"What now?!" Benkei shouted frustated, his hope of Kyoya winning becoming small every moment.
"Ash is using the funneled wind to increase his Bey's speed" Madoka showed a close image of Ash's Bey which shows it getting more spin power and stamina by anchoring the funneled wind as a power source.
"Like a stamina type" Mei-Mei said slowly.
"But I thought Ghidorah was defensive" Kenta said confused.
"It's a Balance Type" Madoka informed as she analyzed the image of Ghidorah.
Back in fields, Kyoya watched in stunned rage as Leone started losing power while Ghidorah's spin only increased like never before. Ash was using his own move against him.
"Thanks for the boast" Ash said cheekily causing Kyoya to growl in anger "You can let loose Ghidorah"
Ash's words caused Ghidorah to let out a burst of heat which dissipated the already weakened Tornedoes. After that, with the new found speed fueled by Leone's Tornadoes, Ghidorah blazed away from the center.
"Oh no you don't!!" Kyoya shouted "Go Leone! King Lion 100 Fang Fury!!"
Leone surrounded itself in tornado and began hurling debris of broken stadium towards Ghidorah, which the bey dodged.
"Kyoya is using one special move after another!" Gingka said his eyes narrowed. He had never seen Kyoya so desperate before. Not even against Ryuga.
"Win this pal!" Beneki shouted.
"This battle is over" Chiyun thought calmly and briefly wondered if he should leave as the result is obvious. But then decided against it.
Ash looked at the Battle. It is time to reveal Ghidorah's true power.
"Enough holding back!" Ash shouted as he smiled "Ghidorah!"
Kyoya's eyes widened.
"He was holding back?! No! It can't be!" Kyoya thought in horror before he clenched his teeth.
The roar of the Bey Spirit echoed as the three heads of Ghidorah appeared in its blazing glory.
"You think this would scare me, huh?!" Kyoya roared "I will rip you to shreds. Go Leone!!"
The Great Lion roared as it's spirit appeared.
"Go Leone!!" Kyoya shouted as he poured every bit of his power to his last attack "King Lion Furious Blast Shot!!"
Kyoya had never thought that he would use his strongest Special Move against a newbie, a move that almost defeated L-Drago.
But his opponent had forced his hand.
Leone was surrounded by a huge hurricane as it's speed accelerated to a huge margin as it roared towards Ghidorah.
"And Kyoya had called forth his strongest Special move!!" DJ yelled excitedly "Will this change the tide?!"
"Can't believe Kyoya called his strongest move" Gingka thought, his eyes widened. This move almost defeated Ryuga in the Battle Bladers.
"It will not!" Ash's eyes flashed red for a moment as Ghidorah was shrouded in flames. The flames vaporised and melted any rock throw at it.
So invested, Ash was in the Battle he didn't see how just for a moment, Ghidorah's aura turned a bit darker. But it only lasted for a second or two before the dark aura cleared again.
"Ghidorah!" Ash roared "Blue Inferno Overdrive!!"
Blue Flare. One of the two Legendary Moves of Reshiram alongside Fusion Flare.
"Charge!!" Kyoya roared.
"No mercy!!" Ash matched Kyoya's roar.
Both Beys collided causing a huge impact of energy causing a shockwave. The stadium cracked and melted under the pressure and heat.
Gingka and his friends covered their eyes at the burst of energy.
"Damm!" Yu and Tsubasa shouted as he covered their eyes.
"Kyoya!!" Benkei shouted with worry at his friend.
"My chips!!" Masamune shouted as his packet of chips went flying back because of the shockwave.
"What power?!" Chiyun cried out losing his cool as he covered his eyes.
Madoka laptop beeped as the energy overloaded the system and caused the software to crash.
"Oh no!!" Madoka cried out as sparks flew from her laptop.
In the VIP Box all the Computers recording the Battles crashed and the glass panel shattered.
"God damm it!!" Ryo shouted as he tried to shield his face from the glass shards.
"Someone bring the fire extinguisher!!" Hikaru shouted worriedly to one of the staff while worriedly looking at the Computers flying sparks.
The energy collision lasted only for a few seconds before a sound echoed.
CRACK!!
The sound of a crack echoed across the stadium as a Bey went flying and fell on the feet of Kyoya.
It was Leone.
And there was a huge crack in the Bey's energy layer and fusion wheel. The unnoticeable crack that Leone received in the first round, is now a wide noticeable crack running down from its edges to the Lion shaped Face bolt.
The smoke faded showing Ghidorah still spinning on the ruined and destroyed stadium, which was half smashed and half melted because of Ghidorah's fire.
There was a shocked silence in the stadium as everyone looked in shock. It was finally broken by DJ who shouted "I can't believe it folks!!!!"
The words snapped Kyoya from his shock who was still staring at his badly damaged Bey.
"I just can't believe it! Kyoya had been defeated by our new blader and all without scoring a single point!!" DJ continued shouting as the screen showed a score of 4-0 in favour of Ash.
"It's Ashura Ketchum and his Fusion King Ghidorah who is the winner of this round, and the entire match, with a stadium out finish!!" DJ shouted as Kyoya and Leone's image was erased from the screen while Ash and Ghidorah's image was magnified "Which means with a score of 4 to 0, Ash Ketchum wins this match!!"
The silent crowd finally broke into cheers and applause as they applauded their new favorite Blader.
"This is what I would call complete domination folks! Ashura didn't even allow his opponent to score a point!!" DJ continued "This means he will be the Final member of Japan's international team in the World Beyblade Championship!!"
Kyoya's hair shadowed his eyes as he slowly, with trembling hands, picked up Leone and his thumb inspected the huge crack in the Bey. He turned around and slowly left the arena, before Ash could offer any words of sportsman spirit.
Ash calmly picked up his own Bey and looked at it. It was a little dusty, but a good clean up would fix it.
He didn't care about the cheering of the crowd as he looked at his Bey. He didn't wanted to use the Special Move, especially a Legendary move. But something inside him forced him to use that. And he had to agree on one thing.
Kyoya was damm powerful. He forced him to use a Legendary Move.
He looked at the score board and as the adrenaline rush wore off he finally realised what he had accomplished.
He had won with a perfect dominant score.
He is going to the World Championship alongside Gingka and Tsubasa.
Ash's Special Moves:-
1) Thunder Slash:- Ghidorah focuses it's Electric Powers in its wings to deal a devastating attack.
2) Flash:- Its less of a special move and more of a launch. All the electricity stored inside Ghidorah's Fusion Wheel bursts from its Energy Ring and Tip which creates a huge boast of Speed and power. This move boasts Ghidorah's attack strength as well as it's stamina and defenses allowing it to almost plow through any attacks or receive any damage from its opponents.
3) Blue Inferno Overdrive:- The Legendary Move of Reshiram given form as a Special Move. Its one of the strongest Special Moves and should only be used in emergency as it could destroy any ordinary Beys.
And Done!!
So Ash won...lol!! We're you surprised. Kid's making strategies from when he was 10. He used Basic Physics to break apart Kyoya's Special moves lol!!
And if you guessed it right. Zerkrom mode is defense. Reshiram mode is offense. And Kyurem mode is attack mode.
Also Ash had to use a Legendary move to defeat Kyoya so the King of Beasts isn't weak. Ash also had to use the Second Gear in the Second Round.So Kyoya is very powerful. However he was just outmatched in terms of strategies and raw power of Ash and his Bey.
And the reason I made it a 3 point battle is to make it more interesting and reveal Ash's true power. As he dominated the whole match without letting Kyoya score even a single point.
The next chapter will deal with the fallout of Ash's win.
