In memory of my Aunt Pat - Gone but will never be forgotten
It was the afternoon at the Triskelion Island, and inside the SHED,
Randy was walking downstairs, wearing a training gi, with a determined look on his face, as he was prepare to begin his training with Ninjor.
Randy reached downstairs and walked over to the living room area, where he sees Ninjor sitting on the couch,
He had a smug smile on his face, as Randy walked over to Ninjor, "Alright, Ninjor, whadda got for me today, building up muscle strength, learn some blade technique with the Ataru? Whatever it is, I'm pumped and ready for anything!" Randy told Ninjor, smiling as he makes it clear that he'll take whatever Ninjor throws at him.
But as Randy looks at Ninjor, he sees that he was watching TV, as Julie was sitting next to him, watching with him,
"So, these Real Housewives are challenging each other for ways of superiority and dominance?" Ninjor asked Julie, wondering about the show they were watching.
Julie turned to look at Ninjor with an awkward smile, "Uh, you could call it that but others just call it some middle women yelling about small things and flipping tables..." She tells him,
"Hey, Ninjor!" Randy called out, which makes Ninjor and Julie turned around look at Randy, "I'm ready to start my training!" He yells them with a pumped smile on his face.
"Calm down, young Randall, it's only been one day and you already ask so much from me, I've been in that temple for 27 thousand years, and your friend Julie just introduced me to modern day entertainment with this 'TEE-VEE', and the latest reality shows, although most of them are mainly degrading, idiotic and repugnant." Ninjor explained to Randy, as he was more interested in watching TV than train Randy.
Randy looked offended at the fact that Ninjor would rather just sit around and watch TV than to begin Randy's training, "But I thought that-" But Randy cuts himself off after realizing something, as his eyes widen, "-Wait, did you just call me 'Randall'?" He asked, as nobody calls him Randall.
Ninjor then turned around to face the TV again, while Julie gave Randy an apologetic and awkward smile, which readied 'Sorry, really shouldn't have shown Ninjor TV'.
"Now, Julie, please can you show me those Kardashians again, I'm still curious on why they are famous?" Ninjor asked Julie, as she awkwardly and reluctantly turned around to face the TV, to change the channel.
Leaving Randy there, completely speechless, before his expression changed to annoyed, as he walks away, leaving the SHED and head to the Triskelion, now planning to do some working out and build up strength in the training room,
Four days later, at upper Jump City, it was night, and exiting a movie theater,
Randy, Kaikaina, Ava, Metabee, Julie and A-Bomb left the theater, as Kaikaina had a popcorn bucket that was half empty, while she was eating it.
"That movie stunk, the characters were bland and two-dimensional, the story was unengaging and all over the place." Ava explained her distaste of the movie they just seen,
Metabee closed his eyes and shrugged his shoulders, "But the effects were good." He mentions, giving some props to the movie.
The gang walked down the street, as they were walking, Kaikaina turned her head and noticed had a somber look on his face. "You still bummed Ninjor is bailin' on your training?" Kaikaina asked Randy, which gets everyone's attention, as they turned to look at Randy.
"Don't worry about, Randy, like many, Ninjor will eventually get bored with today's TV and choose to start training you, out of total boredom." Ava tells Randy, which really puts him down as it makes it sound that training him will be less boring than nothing on TV.
Julie and A-Bomb turned to give Ava a scowl, she turned to look at both of them, "What?" She asked them, as she thought what she said was motivating.
Randy looked down on the ground and sighed, "Look guys, it's just bugs me that the one guy who help me get stronger just wants to binge watch lousy reality shows, this guy is an walkin' definition of let down." He tells them, as he raised up his head to turn and look at his friends.
The gang turned and stared walking down an alley, but unknown to them, from behind them, there were two shadowy figures stand on top of the roof of the building behind them, as they were looking at the team, before they both disappear with a gust of wind.
As they were walking, the shadowy figure appears behind some trashcans, as they held up a kunai in their hand, as they took aim at Randy, as he kept walking.
"But that doesn't mean you haven't gotten stronger, cuz you have, Randy." A-Bomb tells him, reminding him that he has gotten a lot strong over the past few weeks.
"Yeah, I guess, but you never know when something will get the down on-" Randy said, before he cuts himself off, when he hears something from behind him, as the kunai was thrown and flew towards him, Randy quickly shifted his body around and catches the handle of the blade in his left hand, as the tip was just inches from his face.
The rest of the team turned and looked surprised, while Randy held kunai in his hand, with a serious expression on his face, Metabee walks up to Randy with a look of awe, as he was impressed on how Randy could sense the dagger being thrown behind him and catches it in his hand.
"Alright, that was awesome!" Metabee said to Randy,
A-Bomb, Kaikaina, Julie and Ava got into a readied stance, preparing themselves for a fight.
Randy takes a step forward, still with a brooding look, glaring at the shadows, "I know you're out there, might as well get out here." Randy told whoever was hiding in the shadows,
Emerging from the shadows, were two people,
One of them was a 16 year old teenage girl with purple hair that was tied in a side-ponytail on the left which was held by a shrunken-like hair decoration and had green eyes, she was wearing a dark purple sleeveless ninja gi, with a short skirt, and she had a large sash wrapped around her waist, black leggings.
The other one was a medabot was had a Japanese swordsman like design, with swords on both arms, a mask, and Leg Parts styled after a Hakama (A garment traditionally worn in martial arts) but he is also heavily based on a fox, or kitsune, a trickster, shape-shifting fox of Japanese folklore.
Randy's serious expression immediately changed to shock and awe, as his nose disappears and his eyes turned into love hearts, leaning forward, as he puts both hands on his cheeks at seeing the ninja girl.
Metabee then gives Randy an disappointed look, as Randy was brooding and awesome one second, and like a flip of a coin, he's back to being a girl-crazed idiot.
Ava walks passed the love-struck Randy, who was frozen in place, and she glares at the ninja girl. "OK, how about we start with name and motive, who are you?" She said to the ninja girl, in a serious tone of voice.
The girl steps forward, with a dead serious expression on her face. "I am Sagiri Ameno, kunoichi of Steel Wind, and I have come for you!" She introduced herself, as she then points her left index finger at Randy,
Randy quickly perks up at hearing that Sagiri had come all this way for him, he moves ahead and stands ahead of Ava, still having heart eyes, as he held up both his arms, "Take me!" He tells Sagiri, wanting her to take him.
A-Bomb steps up from behind Randy and grabs both his shoulders and lifted his feet off the ground, as he stand perfectly still as a statue, and places him aside, as A-Bomb, Metabee and Kaikaina steps forward, glaring at Sagiri.
"If you wanna get to him, you're gonna have to go through us, cutie." Kaikaina told Sagiri, scowling as she takes out one of her blasters from its holsters and held it up in her left hand, making it clear that they won't let Sagiri hurt Randy without a fight.
But Sagiri was not intimidated by their threats, "I was sent a letter of challenge from him, a dual for the title, mask and power of the Ninja." She explained to them,
Randy then finally snaps out of his trance and comes back to reality, after hearing what Sagiri, claiming that he sent a message to her, challenging her to a fight which will have the Ninja Mask be the prize, Randy was utterly confused on all of this, he didn't sent a letter of challenge to a girl he's never met, and he certainly wouldn't bet the Ninja Mask.
Randy turned to face Sagiri, with a confused look, "Hey, there's been some kinda mistake, I didn't sent any letter of challenge or anything, I think you've got the wrong guy." Randy explained to her, hoping to talk her down from fighting him.
Sagiri narrowed her eyes, as she reached her right hand over to the back of her sash and takes out a kunai that had a note tied to the handle, and Sagiri tosses it at Randy, who catches the handle in his left hand, as he reads the note.
The note readied, 'To the School of Steel Wind, I am Randy Cunningham, the current Ninja and I am giving an invitation to your best student to a dual of honor, with Steel Wind being renowned for its training in weapons, testing your caliber will be most entertaining, if you accept my challenge, the prize for defeating me, I will award the victor with the title, power and Mask of the Ninja. Face me, if you believe your limited skill is worthy enough to taste my blade.'
Randy was wide-eyed, as the handwriting was different to his, it was too formal for him, and he wouldn't just tell anyone that he was the Ninja, it was obvious that someone else wrote this letter and just slapped his name on it.
"You dare to insult the school of Steel Wind, saying that you think of us as something to entertain yourself with, like you think you're so much more better just because you have the Ninja Mask, you think you're above all other shinobis." Sagiri ranted at Randy, with fury, clenching her fists,
Randy then drops the kunai, and started waving his hands, franticly, with a nervous smile his face, "Hold it, there's been some kinda mix-up here!" He tried to explain,
"I don't wanna hear it! Not only will I be fighting for the honor of Steel Wind, I will take pride in beating you and having the Ninja Mask be bestowed on a much more worthy successor." Sagiri told Randy, with a straight face, making it clear that she aims to beat Randy and become the Ninja.
Julie then steps in, glaring at Sagiri, "Look, how about we just calm down a bit, have a sit down and try to straighten this whole thing up." She said to Sagiri,
But Sagiri narrowed her eyes, as she turned her head to the right, "Foxuno," She said, as the Medabot that's was with her, as he walks forward, facing the team.
Foxuno then puts his hands together and performs a fast series of kuji-kiri (Ninja Hand Signs), after finishing it, he aimed his right opened palm at them, and suddenly a wave of energy emanates from it, when the wave reaches them, the wave stops and it expands around them into a large bubble, entrapping them inside, as the bubble floated them upward, off the ground.
Ava, Metabee, A-Bomb, Kaikaina and Julie were inside the bubble, all surprised and confused by this.
"Hey!" Ava yelled in shock as she looks around the bubble,
"What is this?!" Metabee yelled out, looking outraged,
A-Bomb raised up his left fist up and punches the side of the bubble before doing it again with his right fist, but neither punches didn't smash through the bubble.
Randy was turned around and looked shocked at his friends inside the bubble, before he turned around and faces Sagiri, with a serious expression. "Get them outta there; they have nothing to do with this!" He demanded Sagiri to let his friends go.
But Sagiri had an unfazed look, crosses her arms, "I have no quarrel with your friends, but I will not have anyone interfere with a duel of honor, a challenge has been issued and a victor will be decided." She told Randy, as she wants to avoid harming the gang, but she will have Randy fight her, no matter what it takes.
Randy gritted his teeth in anger, he doesn't want to fight a dual that if he loses, he loses the Ninja Mask and being the Ninja in general, not to mention he won't have power to defeat Taskmaster, but Sagiri has his friends in a position where she could hurt them, he had to risk it for their sake and safety.
Randy sighed as he closes his eyes and reached his left hand into his jacket pocket, taking out the Ninja Mask, "Alright... You wanna fight..." He said, as he puts on the mask and changes into the Ninja, as he then opens his eyes, glaring at Sagiri. "... You got it..."
Sagiri forms a small smile on the left corner of her mouth,
A-Bomb leans down in the bubble, looking at Ninja with caution on his face, "Randy, you don't have to do this, we find a way outta here and we'll take her down together." He whispered to him, not wanting Ninja to risk losing the Mask and title of the Ninja for them.
Ninja turned to look at A-Bomb, "I have to; she's got you guys in place where she could have her little medabot cut off all the oxygen in that bubble or hurt you in other ways if I don't, no matter what happens," Ninja tells A-Bomb, as he wasn't going to back down.
Ava turned to look at Sagiri, scowling as she moves forward to the side of the bubble, "Hey! If Randy gonna be fighting, we at least deserve an observance of the whole thing." She demanded from them to see the fight.
Sagiri looked at Ava, raising up her right eyebrow at her, "Fine, it'll make no difference," She tells them, as she un-crosses her arms, and puts her hands together into a kuji-kiri, and suddenly an explosion of smoke from her feet, clouding her in it, and as it clears, she was gone.
Ninja and the rest of the gang just saw what just happened, as Julie crossed her arms and had a grim expression on her face. "I wanna hate her... I really wanna hate her... But you gonna give her points on making an exit." Julie mentioned,
Foxuno walked up to Ninja, performing another series of kuji-kir, and then knees down and touches the ground with his fingertips, suddenly, strange bright water-like substance emanates from his fingertips and travels cross the ground, towards Ninja, pooling around his feet, Ninja looked confused as he stared at the pool of water, but then, he started to be pulled and sinks into the water, to his shock, as he sinks deeper and deeper until he completely gets pulled in.
"Randy!" Metabee yelled out, as he and the rest of the team watched what happened to Ninja.
Kaikaina turned to look at Foxuno, with fury on her face. "What did you do to him?!" She yelled, demanding,
Then, the puddle levitates off the ground and forms into a flat surface and floats in-front of the bubble, where the surface changes to an image of a park, where the team all turned to face,
At the Jump City Park, walking down a path was Ninja, looking around, as that puddle sent him from that alley to the park.
Ninja didn't know if the fight has started or not, as he couldn't find Sagiri, he stops walking and scans the area,
But then, appearing from behind Ninja, in a puff of smoke, Sagiri stood behind him, with a dead serious expression on her face.
Back at the alley, the team watched what was happening,
"Look out, Randy, she's behind you!" Kaikaina yelled out, in shock in an attempt to warn Ninja,
Ava floats up to her puts her left hand on Kaikaina's right shoulder, "Kai, yelling at the screen doesn't help in the slightest." Ava tells Kaikaina, with a blank expression, as Ninja can't hear them,
Back in the park, Sagiri raised up her right fist and tosses it, but Ninja moves his head to the left, dodging Sagiri's attack and quickly turns around and the two ninjas faced each other, both in a readied stance, as their fight has begun.
"Ninja Jab!" Ninja yelled out, as he throws his right hand at Sagiri, but she blocks it with her left forearm, "Ninja Jab!" Ninja yelled again, as he pulls his right hand back and throws his left hand at her, but Sagiri blocks the attack again with her right forearm, "Ninja Jab!" Ninja yelled out once again, as he pulls his left hand back and tosses his right hand back at Sagiri, but she catches his wrist in her left hand, stopping it.
Sagiri pulls Ninja's arm down, dragging Ninja's upper body with it, as she then let's go thrusted her eight palm upward, towards Ninja's head, but he quickly moves his head to the left, dodging it, Ninja then lifts up and swings his left leg at Sagiri, but she blocks it with both forearms, Sagiri tosses her right fist at Ninja, but he moves his upper body back, dodging it and he grabs her arm with his left hand, but Sagiri lifted and tucked her left leg in and delivers a powerful kick to Ninja's stomach, knocking him off his feet and sent flying across the air and he lands on a park bench, smashing into it, breaking it to piece.
Sagiri narrowed her eyes as she reached her hands into her sash and takes out a chain scythe and held the scythe in her right hand, as she held the chain with heavy iron weight on the end of it in her left, as she spun it around overhead.
Ninja lifts himself, groaning a bit in pain, as he rubbed the back of his head with his right hand, with his eyes closed, Sagiri tosses the iron weight and it flies towards Ninja, at a great speed,
Back in the alley, the team was still watching the fight and sees the iron weight flying towards Ninja, as he didn't see it coming at him.
"Move, Randy! Move!" A-Bomb yelled out, while Ava and Julie watched with scared expression on their faces.
Back in the park, Ninja opens his eyes and sees the weight heading towards him,
"Whoa!" Ninja yelled in surprised, as he eyes widen and he quickly rolls on his back, and places his hands on the ground, launching himself up and performing a backflip, just managing to dodge the weight, as it smashing into the ground,
Sagiri pulls the chain back and spun the weight around again, and then tosses the weight again at Ninja, who jumps out of the way, dodging, Sagiri pulls the weight back and with one swing forward, the weight flies towards Ninja, but he jumps up, and the weight smashes into the ground, and Ninja lands on the chain and begins to run on it, towards Sagiri, she pulls the chain and pulls the weight out of the ground, the chain's straight line immediately loosens and Ninja quickly leaps off the chain, going over Sagiri's head, but she loses her grip on her right hand and the scythe end drops, where she swings it upward and it flies towards Ninja, wrapping and tying both his legs together, Ninja's eyes widen as he gets pulled down and smashes into the ground.
Ninja laid on the ground, on his front, he pushes himself up, as he turned and sees Sagiri, as she pulls on her chain, dragging Ninja towards her, Ninja reaches both hands into his sash and takes out two sais.
"Ninja Slash!" Ninja yelled out, as he slashes both sais against the chain, breaking it and freeing himself, which made Ninja quickly jump up and get back on his feet, and turn to face Sagiri.
Sagiri narrowed her eyes as she tosses her broken chain scythe to the ground and then takes out two kunais from her sash and duel wields them in both hands, standing in a readied pose.
The two ninjas stare each other down, waiting for one of them to make the first move, until Ninja charges towards Sagiri, which made her respond in kind, charging at him, when they reach each other, Sagiri throws her right arm forward while Ninja throws his left arm forward as well, and his sai clashes with Sagiri's kunai, and the two of them were pushing against each other, glaring into each other's eyes, until their blades grinds off each other and Sagiri quickly spun around, swinging her left arm at Ninja, but Ninja quickly blocks the attack with left forearm, as the blade was close to his face, Sagiri then shifted her body and swings her right arm again, but Ninja blocks it with his right forearm, Sagiri tucks her arms in to her chest and delivers a tackle to Ninja's chest, knocking him back a few feet.
Ninja recovers and he looked ahead, but Sagiri was gone, he looks up and sees her in the air, with her right foot being held over her head and she strikes it down at Ninja, but held up both his forearms over his head and blocks her over-head kick, and he then drops both his sais and quickly grabs her leg and swings her around and tosses Sagiri into a tree, where she hits her back against it.
Back at the alley, the team saw what just happened, with look of happiness that Ninja's holding out against her.
Kaikaina smiled as she held up her right hand, holding up two fingers, "Two-points!" She called out,
Metabee had an excited look in his eyes, "Now it's a fight!" He said, as he and Kaikaina high-5s each other.
Back at the park, Sagiri was running on the path, that lead her to a small arch bridge that had a road going through it, Sagiri stops at the bridge and looks over the edge, seeing the road, and she heard the horn of a truck approaching the bridge, she jumps off the bridge and lands on the passing truck's trailer, as it drives off into the city.
Ninja reaches the bridge, where he sees Sagiri on the truck, driving off; he then leans off the bridge, "Ninja Scarf!" He yelled out, as he tosses his scarf at a tree branch, tying itself around it and Ninja swings from it and his scarf let's go of the branch and launches himself upward, heading towards the truck, Sagiri stood on the trailer, as she watches Ninja falling towards the trailer and lands on it, across from her.
Ninja takes out his sword and held it in a readied stance, while Sagiri stared at him, with an unfazed and straight expression, as she reaches her left hand over to the back of her collar, and she takes out at katana out of its scabbard, that was hidden in her gi, Sagiri held her katana in her left hand and went into a readied stance.
The two of them engage in a sword fight, they're blades clashing and sparks flying, Sagiri swings her sword at Ninja, but he ducks and dodges it, and he sees an opening where he delivers a swift leg sweep, knocking Sagiri off her feet and she falls on her back, she looks up and sees Ninja, who leaps in the air and held his sword over his head, prepared to strike, but then, Sagiri performs a kuji-kir and a cloud of smoke appear and her disappears in it, and Ninja sword's blade strikes into the trailer and his blade gets stuck in it.
Ninja looked shocked, as he tries to pulls his sword out of the trailer but it was struck, while Sagiri reappears in a puff of smoke, behind Ninja, as she walked over to him, with a serious look on her face.
"Wait!" Ninja said, as he desperately tries to pulls his sword out of the trailer.
But Sagiri doesn't wait and delivers a right kick to Ninja's back, knocking him off his feet and nearly over the edge of the trailer.
Back at the alley, the team just watched what Sagiri just did,
"Hey, she cheated!" Julie said, looking outrage, despite not knowing the rules of a duel of shinobis, she knew a dirty move when she sees one and Sagiri did just that.
Ava turned to look at Foxuno with an angered expression, "I thought this was supposes to be a fair fight!" She tells him, as she thought a dual of ninja would be done on rules of honor, but that thought was thrown out the window after seeing Sagiri cheat.
But Foxuno kept silent, as he kept watches the fight go on,
Back in the city, still on the moving truck, Sagiri was slashing her sword at Ninja, who was still unarmed, dodging her swings, narrowly, as the truck drove towards the city bridge.
Ninja was on the ground, as Sagiri held her sword high over-head and as she swings it down, Ninja quickly jumps out of the way and her blade clashes against the trailer, Ninja rolls on the ground before getting back up on his feet, Sagiri then runs over to him and swings her sword at him, but Ninja leans backwards and dodges the blade, but Ninja was being lead further to the edge of the trailer, until his feet reaches the edge, Ninja's eyes widen in shock as he almost falls over, Ninja flails his arms around trying to keep from falling off, Sagiri smirks as she sees an opening to knock Ninja off this truck.
But Ninja quickly reaches his right hand over to Sagiri's sash and takes out a rope with a grapple hook on one end; Ninja then fall off the trailer, but then... "Ninja Grappling Hook!" Ninja yelled out and tosses the hook at the trailer, that just manages to latch on to the corner of the trailer and Ninja swings off it, just narrowly missing the road and swings over the trailer and Sagiri turned around and looked shock as she sees Ninja swinging towards her, with both legs tucked in, where he delivers a double kick to her, knocking off of the truck and landing roughly on the road, as Ninja lets go of the rope and lands on his feet on the road.
Sagiri gets back up, giving Ninja a scowl, as he gets into a readied stance but he sees a car coming up fast towards him and Ninja quickly jumps high into the air and grabs onto one of the bridges support cables and climbs up it, while Sagiri leaps up and climbs up it as well, chasing Ninja.
The two of them climbed up to the bridge's support tower and reached the top of it, Ninja and Sagiri stood before each other, facing the other down, Sagiri narrowed her eyes as she reaches both hands into her sash, and then takes out two weapons, a claw weapon tied to her right backhand (A Tekko-Kagi) and holding in her left hand a chain bola with two steel balls on both ends of the chain Bola, and she began to spin them around.
Sagiri charges to attack, as Ninja tries dodging her attacks,
Back at the alley, the team kept watching the battle,
Julie looks worried, "Randy can't do this forever!" She said, as Ninja will get tried and Sagiri will have an opportunity to take him down,
Ava puts her right hand on Julie's left shoulder, which made her turn to look at Ava, as she give a deep expression on her face, "I know you hate doing nothing while a friend is fighting to survive, but there's nothing we can do, believe me, I hate it too." Ava tells Julie,
A-Bomb then knocks on the side of the bubble which made Foxuno turn to look at him; A-Bomb gave Foxuno a serious look, "Hey! I've had it with just watching, we want rights of attendance!" He told Foxuno, wanting to stop watching and be there for Ninja.
Foxuno stared at A-Bomb, reminding silent for a moment until he performs a series of kuji-kiri, and then a puddle underneath the bubble, glows and spreads around and the bubble and Foxuno lowers towards the puddle, and it and Foxuno sink into the large puddle.
As they were sinking, Kaikaina and Metabee looked freaked out on sinking into a magic puddle, Kaikaina turned to look at Metabee, with a nervous expression, "Well, this is happenin'!" She tells him, as she pinches her nose with her left index and middle fingers and held her breath as the bubble completely sinks into the puddle.
Back at the bridge support tower, Ninja was on the ground, on his back, as Sagiri walks towards Ninja, with a dead serious look,
Ninja looks ahead and sees Sagiri, as she then leaps up into the air and thrusts her right arm forward, aiming her claw weapon at Ninja, but Ninja quickly reached his left hand out and grabs Sagiri's wrist and kicks Saguru's stomach, knocking her away while having her Tekko-Kagi taken off her wrist by Ninja.
Sagiri lands on her back, slide a few feet away, as Ninja gets back up,
On the other side of the tower, a puddle appears on the ground and the bubble with the team still inside emerges from out of it, as Foxuno appears next to it.
A-Bomb, Julie, Metabee, Kaikaina and Ava all sees Ninja standing while Sagiri, they all looked surprised and happily relieved to see Ninja standing while Sagiri was on the ground, Ninja was in a position to win.
Kaikaina smiled at seeing this, "This isn't how we left things!" She said,
Julie smiled as well, putting her hands together, "Change is good, change is very good!" She said, happy,
Metabee held up his right arm up, with a pumped and excited look in his eyes, "You've got this, Ninja!" He tells Ninja,
Ninja walked over to Sagiri, who was on her front, as she narrowed her eyes, reaching her right hand into her sash, she takes out something out, that was hidden in her fist, when Ninja was close enough, Sagiri shifted her body around and held up her fist near her face and opens it, revealing some dust as she blows it into Ninja's face.
"GAH!" Ninja yelled out in pain, as the dust hits him in his eyes, he covers them with his left hand.
Sagiri quickly gets up and begins to throw a barrage of attacks, pushing Ninja back, and not letting get his bearings and block, as she was pushing Ninja closer and closer towards the edge of the tower, until Ninja's right foot hits the edge, Sagiri smirks as she throws her right palm at Ninja, hitting him square in the chest and knocking him over the edge, falling off the tower.
"AAAHHH!" Ninja yelled out as he falls,
Ava, Kaikaina, Metabee, Julie and A-Bomb all looked shock,
"No!" Ava cried, looking shocked,
"RANDY!" A-Bomb yelled out,
Sagiri walks over to the edge, and to her surprise, she sees Ninja, hanging on to the large bridge cable, as he tries to climb back up it, Sagiri narrowed her eyes as she leaps off tower and lands on the cable, sprinting across it, towards Ninja, as she unsheathed her katana, holding it with two hands, once she reaches Ninja, she then swings her blade and slashes the cable, causing Ninja to fall with the small cable in his right hand until the cable stops and Ninja hangs there, helpless, as he looked up and sees Sagiri, still on the large cable, staring down at Ninja, as she held up her sword over her head and with a swift swing, Sagiri slices the cable and Ninja falls, towards the water.
"AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ninja yelled out, as he falls, as he falls, he turned and noticed that he still had Sagiri's Tekko-Kagi in his left hand, thinking on his feet, Ninja quickly puts it on his left wrist, and moves towards the base of the bridge, where he drives the claw into the wall of it, grinding down it until coming to a complete stop, get near the water.
Ninja hanged there, pacing a bit, gathering his bearings, as he looked at the Tekko-Kagi, with its blades inside the side of the base, "(Sigh) I've gotta get me one of these..." He said to himself, as he reaches his right hand into his sash and takes out one of his sais and drives the blade into the wall and takes the claw out and began to climb up the base, back up to the top of the support tower.
Meanwhile, back at the top of the tower, Sagiri was walking towards the group, as they all gave her death scowls,
Sagiri have an overconfident smirk on her face, "You friend has fallen before me, victory is mine and the honor of Steel Wind is satisfied." She told them, taking pride in her victory.
Julie gritted her teeth in anger, putting both her fists against the bubble, glaring daggers at Sagiri, "Just wait, the second I'm outta here, I'll give ya all the honor you can handle!" She threaten Sagiri,
"Hold it, Jule..." The sound of Ninja voice was heard, getting everyone's attention, as Sagiri turned around, with a look of surprise at seeing Ninja standing before her, "... But she ain't done with me yet." He said, narrowing his eyes,
Sagiri's eyes widen, surprised at seeing Ninja, standing before her, "I underestimated you; you've show some decency as a ninja." She said to Ninja, as she didn't expect him to narrowly escape the fall.
"Yeah, and those decencies doesn't include dirty moves (!)" Ninja told her, narrowing his eyes, aiming that remark to her underhanded move of blinding him and attacking without stopping.
Sagiri then scowls, she is one of the most top students in Steel Wind, she only wanted to do this to fight for the honor of her school, and Ninja, a guy who she sees is arrogant and full of himself, dare talk to her about honor.
Then, with swiftness and speed, Sagiri reaches her right hand into her sash and tosses a shuriken at Ninja, that flew with great speed across the air, until a Ninja Ring flies in and clashes in with each other, knocking both of them to the ground, Sagiri looked shocked at what happened, staring at the shuriken and Ninja Ring, laying there on the ground, before she looked up at Ninja, who's left arm was positioned in a throw, as he straightens up, with a calm and collective look in his eyes.
Sagiri got angry as she quickly reaches both hands into her sash and takes out more shurikens and tosses them at Ninja, only for him to respond in kind with him quickly getting out his Ninja Rings and tosses them as well, and both shurikens and Ninja Rings clashes into one another, Ninja and Sagiri then engage in a barrage of shurikens, with both of them getting and throwing them with utter breakneck speed, with each shuriken and Ninja Ring clashing into each other, knocking to the ground.
Sagiri gritted her teeth, as she gets and throws her shurikens to hit Ninja, but he's managing to deflect them with his, and every last shuriken and Ninja Ring falls to the ground, with neither one of them reaching either Ninja or Sagiri.
Sagiri reaches her left hand into her sash but she looked shocked as she finds that she has ran out of shurikens, she looked speechless until she turned to look at Ninja, who still have Ninja Rings to spare, as he held two within his fingers on his right hand, staring at Sagiri, still with that calm and collected look in his eyes.
"What's wrong, havin' trouble keepin' it up (?) Don't worry it happens to everyone, well, not me (!)" Ninja joked, as he puts his Ninja Rings back into his sash,
Sagiri got more angry, just having him mock her like that, she clenches her fists and then reaches her hands into her sash and takes out her chain scythe and changes at Ninja, and once she reaches him, she swings the iron weight end at him, but Ninja, still looking so calm, moves his head back, dodging the fist, as Sagiri swings the weight again at him, but he quickly ducks and the weight misses him.
As Ninja stands up, he looked at Sagiri, and chuckled a bit, "Heh, and people say that I've got a bad temper (!)" He joked again, mocking her as he sees that she's got a really nasty temper on her.
Sagiri then swings the scythe end over her and strikes it down at Ninja, who quickly leaps backward, performing a somersault backflip, dodging the scythe and landing back on his feet.
Ninja looked at Sagiri with an amused look in his eyes, "Pfft, come on, do you even know how to use that (?)" He joked once again,
Sagairi swings the scythe overhead and Ninja leap to the left, dodging, Sagiri quickly pulls the blade out of the ground, before turning to look at Ninja, who gave her a serious look,
Sagiri then swings the iron weight under arm and tosses it at Ninja, "RRRAHHH!" She roared in fury,
Ninja leaps upward as the weight smashes into a wall on the edge, as Ninja lands on top of it, crouched down.
Ninja gave Sagiri an impressed look, "Hey, now that was really good..." He said, before his look changes to a look of confusion, "... Unless that was aimed for me (?)" He mocks her again,
Sagairi swings the scythe overhead and Ninja leap to the left, dodging, Sagiri quickly pulls the blade out of the ground, before turning to look at Ninja, who gave her a serious look,
"Hm!" Ninja chuckled a bit,
Sagiri was really angry, gritting her teeth and scowling daggers at Ninja, as she violently tosses her chain scythe and held up her fists and stood in a fighting position, as she aims to fighting him, using only her bare fists.
Ninja held up his arms, looking up, "Finally, some real fun!" He said, as he turned to look at Sagiri, with a pumped look in his eyes, as he leaps off the wall and land, with the two ninjas standing face to face.
Sagiri charges at Ninja, swinging her left fist, but Ninja steps back, dodges as Sagiri swings her right fist but Ninja steps back again dodging and Sagiri swings her right back hand and Ninja ducks, crouching down before jumping up, he leans his face towards hers,
Sagiri's eyes widen in shock, as Ninja's face was really close to hers, until...
"Mwah!" Ninja pucks his lips through his mask and delivers a little kiss on Sagiri's nose, before lands on the ground and jump away from her.
Sagiri looked at Ninja, who gave her a flirty wink at her, Sagiri got angry again as she sprints at him and leaps, performing a spinning right kick, Ninja ducks and rolls under her as she lands with her back facing him, before Sagiri could turn, Ninja sun around and with both of his hands opened swings them low and places both hands on Sagiri's butt.
Sagiri goes Blank White Eyed, her nose disappears as her whole face went red from Ninja touching her butt, she then passed the point for fury to something further beyond, as her eyes goes back to normal and her nose reappears and totally fury was married to her face, as she jumps and does a fast spinning left back heel kick, as Ninja quickly jump back from, missing it.
Sagiri swings her right leg at Ninja, but he lifts up his left leg and blocks it with his knee, she tosses her left fist, but Ninja pushes it aside with his right hand, Sagiri then grabs his right wrist in her right hand, but Ninja quickly pulls her hands apart, breaking her hold and Sagiri performs a spinning high right kick, Ninja ducks and the kick misses him, Sagiri throws a left punch and Ninja blocks it with his left forearm, but Sagiri manages to land a swift left punch to Ninja's face, knocking him back a few feet.
Sagiri ran in and tosses her right fist but Ninja catches it in his left hand, and she began to throw her fist wildly, but Ninja kept blocking and dodging her attacks,
"Take it from someone who knows, anger is a seriously funny thing, it can easily consume you like fire, makes you head-strong, you ignore help from those around and pretty soon..." Ninja explained to Sagiri, as he was blocking her attacks, until Sagiri throws a right punch, as Ninja leaps up into the air, Sagiri started to frantically looked around for where Ninja went, with anger and frustration on her face.
"... You'll lose sight of everything around you..." The sound of Ninja voice was heard from behind Sagiri, she narrowed her eyes and swings her right elbow behind her, but Ninja duck and spins around her, around to her front, as he held up Sagiri's katana in his left hand and held up his one of his sais in his right hand, holding the katana's blade up against the back of Sagiri's neck and the sai against her throat.
Sagiri gasped in shock, eyes widen as she froze, as she was now in a position where Ninja could kill her right there, now realizing that Ninja wanted her to get so mad, she wouldn't see that he was waiting for an opportunity to take her sword without her looking and hold her in a place where she couldn't do anything.
Ninja gave Sagiri a serious scowl, as he kept holding up the blades to the front and back of Sagiri's neck, waiting for her to say it.
Sagiri's mouth was open, still having that speechless expression, trying to think of what to say, "Ah, I, you, but... I..." She tried to say the right words but she knew what the right words, she closes her eyes and her expression changes to a look of defeat. "(Sigh)... I yield..." She admits defeat.
After being declared the winner of the dual, Ninja then drops the blades and hands Sagiri back her katana, which she takes back, with a somber look.
"Don't take it to heart, ya can't win 'em all." Ninja tells Sagiri, in a calm tone, as he gives her a wink,
With Foxuno seeing Ninja take victory, he performs another series of kuji-kiri, and then the bubble pops, freeing Kaikaina, Metabee, Julie, A-Bomb and Ava, they all ran over to Ninja, cheering him on for winning,
"Alright, Randy!" Metabee said, with pride in his eyes,
"Nice work!" Kaikaina tells him, smiling,
"Yeah!" A-Bomb said, smiling,
The gang reaches Ninja, congratulating him, Julie patted Ninja back, smiling, A-Bomb wrapped his right around Ninja's neck, pulling him up and giving him a playful noogie, making Ninja laugh.
Ava walks up to Ninja, "That was some actual strategy I saw, good job, Cunningham." She tells Ninja, smiling as she was impressed,
As the gang was congratulating Ninja, Sagiri stood afar from them, still with a somber look, processing her defeat.
"Impressive display..." The sound of an older woman, which immediately gets the attention of everyone as they turned to see where the voice came from,
Standing on the railing, was a fairly tall and beautiful young woman with peach skin, light purple eyes and her eyebrows resembled lightning bolts, she had a slender frame yet remarkably curvaceous-figure and well-endowed breasts, she has long waist-length raven hair that was tied back in a high ponytail, she was wearing a purple choker around her neck that contains numerous small pins, she was wearing a small pink kimono and long purple stockings; underneath she wears bandages over her chest and a fundoshi.
And she had a tsuba-less nodachi strapped to her back with makeshift grip of bandages wrapped around the hilt.
She stared at everyone with a stone cold unemotional expression on her face, as she had her arms crossed, A-Bomb, Ava, Julie, Metabee and Kaikaina all looked confused on whom this woman was, but Ninja, of course, eyes turns to love hearts at the sight of the women.
Foxuno then bows to the woman, "Master Shigure," The Medabot finally speaks in the presence of his master,
Sagiri gasped in shock, as she quickly gets on her knees and performing dogeza at the presence of her master,
The woman named Shigure steps off the railing and walks over to the group, Julie and Ava steps forward, with serious look on their faces, as they didn't know if she was friend or foe.
"And you are?" Ava asked, glaring at Shigure,
Shigure glares back at Ava, "My name is Shigure Kōsaka, sensei of Steel Wind, and you've already met my disciple Sagiri," Shigure introduced herself, as she turned to look at Ninja, who was still fawning over as he still had love hearts for eyes. "... And you must be Randy Cunningham." She said, at seeing how he was completely love-struck at the sight of her, Shigure knew who he was.
A-Bomb then let's go of Ninja, as he swiftly dances happily towards Shigure, who still have that cold unemotional expression on her face,
"You've heard of me!" Ninja said, excited that Shigure knows him,
Sagiri gets up and looks at Shigure, with a really worried look on her face,
Shigure noticed her student, raising her left eyebrow, she looked back at Ninja, raising up her right index finger at him, "Hold that thought," She told him, calmly, as she walks towards Sagiri,
Sagiri sees her sensei heading towards her, and had a panicky look, she bows to Shigure. "Sensei, please forgive me, I failed to get retribution for the insult to Steel Wind, I fought to the best of my abilities but-" Sagiri tried to apologizes for losing the dual,
But then, with total swiftness, Shigure leaps at Sagiri, legs first as she scissor-locks her back the neck, knocking Sagiri to the ground.
Ninja snaps out of his love trance and he and the rest of the gang stared at Shigure wailing on Sagiri,
Shigure had Sagiri pinned and was performing a Boston Crab, as Sagiri was on her front, with her legs being bend, and Sagiri's nose disappearing and cries in pain as she was flailing her arms, as Shigure sitting on her back, with Sagiri's legs were under her arms, bending them.
Shigure was looking over her left shoulder, still having the cold unemotional look on her, staring at Sagiri, "If I remember correctly, I told you not to pursuit an dual of honor..." Shigure told Sagiri, calmly as she bends her legs further.
Then Shigure was on her back and putting Sagiri into a Bow and Arrow Submission, as Sagiri's eyes goes Blank White Eyes, with tears as she cried in pain,
"... As the message was clearly not from Mr. Cunningham..." Shigure continued, speaking in a very calm tone.
Then Shigure was standing, standing behind Sagiri, doing an Octopus Hold on her, as Sagiri still cried in pain,
"... From what Dororo had explained to me about him, he hardly seems like the type who would seek battle out of boredom, especially to those who he has never met..." Shigure continued,
Then Sagiri was now on the ground on her front, as Shigure was sitting on her back, with both hands pulling under Sagiri's chin, doing a front chin Camel Clutch.
"... And while watching your dual, I saw you use such low-handed moves to try and win, and seeing that from one of my top and decorated students, really upset me..." Shigure continued pulling up on Sagiri's chin further.
And finally, Sagiri was stood up, with Shigure standing behind her, as Sagiri had tears in her eyes.
"... I've always warned you that your pride is your greatest weakness, but you failed to listen to my teachings and I must invoke discipline." Shigure finished,
As she wraps both arms around Sagiri's waist and performs a perfect German Suplex and smashes Sagiri's head to the ground.
Then gang all watched with Blank White Eyes as Shigure completely and utterly clobbers the tar outta Sagiri, until Ninja realized some, snapping his eyes back to normal and an exclamation point appears over his head.
Shigure had Sagiri in a choke hold, with her right arm around Sagiri's neck, as she looked pale and half-conscious, with a dark shade on her head, with her eyes in Blank White Eyes and her nose was gone.
Ninja walks up to Shigure, with a curious look, "Hey, you know Master Dororo?" He asked the ninja master,
Shigure looked at Ninja and let's go and Sagiri's limp body falls face-first to the ground, as Shigure takes a step forward, still having that straight face. "Yes, we both trained under the same master, he's a good friend, and he told me about you with great detail." She tells Ninja,
Ninja's eyes widen in surprised, Dororo has been talking about him, "Like what?" He asked her, wondering what Dororo had said about him.
"He told me that you were a shinobi who is rough around the edge but is noble of the way of the ninja, as you have shown in your battle, your fought with honor and with that, you won." She explained to Ninja, as a small smile forms on her mouth, until she turned her head slight to the left, glaring at Sagiri, who was standing back up, "... More so then my disciple" She said, coldly, glaring at her student.
Sagiri was looking down, hanging her head in shame, while her mouth was quivering and there was some tears in her eyes, crying from getting discipline from Shigure, and then, Shigure delivers a left punch to the top of Sagiri, she had her hands on where Shigure punched her and looked up, seeing her master standing next to her, with her left arm held up and her hand still balled up into a fist, Shigure scowls at Sagiri, as the scowl just readied 'Apologies, you Block-head!'.
Sagiri looked at her master with teary eyes before turning to look at Ninja, as Julie, Kaikaina, Ava, Metabee and A-Bomb walks up and stood with him, as they all looked at Sagiri,
Sagiri quickly bows to them, "I am deeply sorry for all I have put you through, my actions were petty and I am sorry..." She apologies to the gang, in a desperate tone of voice, really wanting to avoid getting clobbered by Shigure.
Julie, Ava and Kaikaina were hesitant on accepting the apology with the whole 'Putting them in a bubble for nearly half an hour', but A-Bomb and Metabee were willing to let bygones be bygones.
As Sagiri lifted up her head to look at Ninja, with a hesitant pleading look, "... And I am sorry for my hubris blinding me and falsely accusing you..." She apologies to Ninja,
Ninja shrugged his shoulders, with a cool look in his eyes, "Aw, don't sweat it, not the first time someone I've never met before, who wanted to kill me." He tells her nicely,
Sagiri stared at Ninja, with a look of quizzical, so fast and willing to forgive her just like that, The Ninja is meant to be honourable, compassionate and forgiving, which he has displayed, perhaps she was wrong on him being worthy to be The Ninja.
Shigure looked at Ninja with a straight face, "You are skilled but your path to unlock your true potential will get more difficult and just as dangerous, but you have the caliber to find what you seek." She explained to Ninja,
This made Ninja happy, as he bows to Shigure in honor of the ninja master,
Shigure then turned her head to the right, "Foxuno," She called out,
Foxuno quickly walks to Shigure, "Yes, Master?"
"We are going home," Shigure told him, crossing her arms,
As Foxuno performs a series of kuji-kiri, and once finished, a mystic puddle pools under Shigure, Sagiri and Foxuno's feet, then the three of them began to sink into it, while Sagiri perplexed changed into a somber glare at Ninja, before they sink into completely, teleporting away,
Leaving Ninja, Julie, Metabee, A-Bomb, Ava and Kaikaina all just standing there,
A-Bomb takes big breath out, flexing his arms, as he puts on a smile, "Well, I'm hungry, who's up for ice cream?" He said, trying to break the ice.
Familiar Voice: I would LOOOOVE to try some!
The sound of that voice gets the gangs attention, as they turned to look to the right, where they see Ninjor, sitting crossed-legged on a small yellow cloud that was floating him in the air.
Everyone looks at Ninjor with surprise, they thought he was at home, why was he here?
"What are you doing here?" Metabee asked Ninjor, raising his left eyebrow,
Ninjor floats towards them and gets off his cloud, "Oh, just finished watching my little experiment play out." He tells them, putting his hands together,
Julie, Kaikaina, Ninja, Metabee, A-Bomb and Ava all stared at Ninjor, with Blank White Eyes, processing on what he just said,
Kaikaina then tilted her head slighty to the right, as a question mark appears over her head, "Hah?" She said, in total confusion,
Ninjor then puts his right hand on his hip and left hand on his chin, "Heh-heh-heh, with the genius thinking of the mighty and wise Ninjor, my letter of challenge worked out like a charm, mm hm!" Ninjor said, sounding proud of himself.
Ava narrowed her eyes suspicious at Ninjor, "Are you saying that the letter to Steel Wind, the challenge, intimidating Sagiri, you did all of it!?" She said, now angered of being told the Ninjor did all of this.
Ninjor then removes his left hand from his chin and held up his index finger, "Oh of course, you really didn't think I'd watch TV all day, I sent that letter to Steel Wind, knowing that one of their top ninjas will outraged and come here to fight Randall." He explained, sounding prideful in himself.
"WWWHHHHHHYYYYYYY!" Ninja yelled, outraged that everything he's been put through tonight, he's been punched, kicked, thrown off a bridge support, falling 167 feet drop and just narrowly saving himself, all because of Ninjor.
"'Cause I need to see what I had to work with," Ninjor tells Ninja, calmly,
Ninja calms a bit and looks more confused,
"Why I have started your training is because I need to see you in action, how you fought and used the Ninja Mask so I would figure out the best way to train you, and I'd say we've really got something here!" Ninjor explained to Ninja the reason why he did all of this, to see how Ninja was in a fight and analyze the best way to train him.
Ninja then calms down completely as that made sense, Ninjor had never seen him in a fight and see what fighting style he uses, how he handles his weapons and how he handles in situations.
Ninjor was prepared to train Ninja; he just had to be patient,
Kaikaina steps forward, next to Ninja, looking at Ninjor with a suspicious look, "So, does this mean you're finally gonna start training Randy?" She asked Ninjor,
Ninjor then removes his right hand from his hip and held up a small leaf that was inbetween his fingers, "That it does! But it can't begin without the proper tools." He tells them, as he walks over to Ninja,
Where Ninjor gently puts the leaf up against Ninja's chest, to Ninja and everyone else's' confusion on what he was doing, then went Ninjor removes his hand, as the leaf sat on Ninja's chest,
Ninjor steps back and puts his hands together in a formation, and then the leaf transforms in a huge puff of smoke, into a shoulder strap that was wrapped around Ninja's chest, and on the back was the Ataru, as the sword was in its scabbard, and the weight pulls Ninja back, as his eyes widen and he flails his arms, as he falls backward to the ground, hard.
Ava, Kaikaina, Metabee, Julie and A-Bomb all looked down, with Blank White Eyes, at the fallen Ninja, as he struggles to get back up, due to the heavy weight of the Ataru.
Ninjor begins to walk passed the grounded Ninja, "Come now, Randall, there's no time to just lie around,"
Ninjor: There's TRAINING to be done!
Ninjor sung happily, while leaving Ninja on the ground, seriously struggling to get up,
Thus, Ninja's training had officially begun.
Meanwhile, at the Triskelion Island, inside the building in Washington's quarters,
Wash was sitting at his desk, while Centorea stood behind him, as the two of them were facing a computer screen, which Wash was searching through some flies.
"So, this project was alpha leveled, but something that was that high leveled couldn't just have been swept under the rug?" Centorea said, looking curious,
"I think it's best to say that it was separated into pieces and hidden from each other, but the whole project was deemed a failure, it was scrapped and every file, blueprint and record has been locked up for 9 years." Washington explained, turning his head to the right to look at Centorea,
"But Alpha Level is always first put in beta testing, working out the faults until its 100%, but one test and its buried deep for 9 years? What was the project?" Centorea asked,
"Doesn't say, but there was a explosion that took the lives of every scientist and S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives that was working on it, after that Director Fury made sure that Project Next would be nothing more than a bad dream." Wash explained, turning back to face the screen,
"There had to have been records of the S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives' whose lives were lost." Centorea suggested,
Wash shook his head, "There is but only Director Fury has access to it," He said,
Centorea sighed in frustration, as she straightens up and rubs the bridge of her nose with her left hand,
Washington just keeps looking, "Whatever whole project was, it had to have been big enough and dangerous enough to want Taskmaster to rebuild it." He said,
Centorea removes her hand from her bridge and look at Wash, "Taskmaster seems to know a lot about this device, considering how much security and how much S.H.I.E.L.D. has tried to keep it hidden." She said,
Wash then turned his chair around to look up at her, "Strangely enough, I had the same bad feeling about Taskmaster's real identify and how he plays a part in all of this..." He said to Centorea, in a serious tone of voice.
As Wash and Centorea looked at each other, both in utter thought, with Project Next having an accident that took the lives of all the scientist and S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives that worked on the device, how does Taskmaster know about this and why would he want to start it up again?
What was he going to get out of it?
Meanwhile, in the far reaches of space, Taskmaster's battle fleet was soaring across the stars.
Inside the main flagship, Taskmaster was inside his office, sitting at his desk, going through some files.
"The Master grows impatience..." The sound of a voice entered the room, but Taskmaster didn't react as he kept looking through the files.
As a cloaked figure, wearing a hood over their head, hiding their face emerges from the shadows.
"The construction is 89% complete, tell him to wait just a little longer," Taskmaster said to the hooded figure, as he looks up at looked at them,
"You fail to realize that the Master could reduce you to a smouldering pile of ash." The hooded figure said to Taskmaster, moving towards him,
"Well, I think what he fails to see that I'm his only chance to cross over and that I don't fear you or him." Taskmaster told the hooded figure, darkly and serious,
"Then you are a fool, don't forget that you are still human..." The hooded figure tells Taskmaster, as they weren't intimidated by him.
"Just tell him that it's almost ready and the time of his arrive is getting closer." Taskmaster said to the hooded figure,
The hooded figure remained silent, as they floats back into the shadows, disappearing into it.
