Somewhere, deep in space, Taskmaster's fleet was stationed near the Moon-sized ring that was still under construction,
Inside the main flagship, Robin was walking down to Mistal's lab, as she had some files and plans from Taskmaster for some new weapons and armor for the Taskbots he wanted her to begin designs for.
When she reached the door to the lab, the doors automatically and Robin enters the lab, where it was empty, she walks in, with her having a straight face, as she scanned around the lab to see where Mistral was.
Then Robin heard some sounds coming from the other room, she raised her left eyebrow with curiosity and walked towards the closed door, and slowly opens to door slightly, and peaks through the small gap and sees Mistal, facing forward to a chair in the middle of the room, in the chair was Black Velocity, who had both his wrists restrained to the arms of the chair, along with his ankles at the base of the chair.
He had his helmet off, and on his head, covering his face was a metal helmet with wires in it, as he was trembling from electroshock, Robin had a suspicious look as she only saw a glimpse of what Mistral was doing to Black Velocity, but this looks much more sever.
Mistral stared at the detained Black Velocity with a stone cold serious look, as she presses a button on her left forearm, then the electroshock stops and Black Velocity's body goes limp, as the helmet removes itself and lifts upward, but Black Velocity's face was hidden in shadows, as he was breathing heavily from the pain.
Mistral glares at him, as she held up her right palm and a holo-screen appears, "Re-programing complete, subject's mental state is being too resistant for the procedure, will have to increase the programing." She said into the holo-screen, as it was recording,
Robin looked at the unmasked Black Velocity, concerned at seeing that he was in a great deal of pain, and what did Mistral meant by 'Re-programing'?
Mistal then picks up Black Velocity's helmet and puts it back on his head, as the retrains removes themselves from him,
Robin opens the door all the way and enters the room, making Mistral turns to see her,
Mistal glared at Robin, with a cold look, "Is there something you wanted, Ms. All Sunday?" She said to Robin, in a monotone voice,
Robin gave Mistral a straight face, "Taskmaster wanted me to give you some new design plans for the Taskbots." She tells her, as she hands the files to Mistral,
Mistral takes them and looks at them, before looking back at Robin, "If that's all, I'd like for you to leave, I'm in the middle of session." She told Robin, coldly, as she turned to put the files on her desk, as she'll go through them later.
Robin narrowed her eyes, as she turned to look at Black Velocity, still sitting in the chair, with his head hung down, "Far beyond me from questioning the therapeutic methods of my superior, but what are you actually doing to Black Velocity?" She asked her, curious on what Mistral was doing.
Mistral kept her back turned from Robin, "A standard mental reconstitution, Ms. All Sunday, Black Velocity has some barriers built around him mentally, and Taskmaster wanted me to assist in removing those restraints." She explained to her, bluntly,
Robin turned to look at Black Velocity, "But he looks like he's in a great deal of pain, whatever you're doing, aren't you concerned of the repercussions that may lead to serious physiological damage?" She asked,
"I know what I am doing, we are currently at war with S.H.I.E.L.D. and those irritant children, we cannot have one of our best assets be held back by moral restraint, we are on the verge of victory, and we can't have any weak links to risk utter failure." Mistral explained, sounding more annoyed with Robin asking these questions.
Robin turned back to Mistral, with a more confused and serious expression, "But I don't understand, you spend so much time in your lab, working on both Black Velocity and Red X, I don't-" She said,
Until Mistral quickly turns around and gets her face very closer to Robin's, as she scowls at her with total anger and annoyance, as her eyes turned from blue to red.
"THAT IS EXACTLY THE POINT! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Mistral roared out at Robin, in fury, which made her widen her eyes in surprise, "Need I remind you that you were just as lost and broken when Taskmaster found you, he entrusted me into mending that shattered psyche and make you into what you are today!" Mistral ranted at Robin, as her eyes glowed brighter red, gritting her teeth.
Robin stared at her, not saying anything, as she had a straight face, while Mistral's eyes goes back from red to blue, calming down as the cyborg backed away from Robin and turned to walk back to her desk.
"If there's nothing left, leave now," Mistral told Robin, coldly,
Robin stood there, with a serious look, narrowing her eyes at Mistral, before turning to look at Black Velocity, and turned around and walked out of the room and out of the lab.
Mistral turned to see Robin gone; she then goes back to her work, as she turned to Black Velocity, still in the chair,
She knees down to his level to look at him with a calculating expression, "Now then, tell me, what is your mission and directive?" Mistral asked Black Velocity,
Black Velocity slowly lifted his head up just a bit, "To... be a soldier to Taskmaster... Follow his orders... Complete my missions... And... Destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. at any cost..." He answered, weary,
Mistral smiled as she stands up, staring down at the masked person,
A few days later, it was Friday night, back on Earth, at Jump City High, at the football fields, a game was going on, with the school's football team was playing against an opposing team,
In the bleachers there was a large crowd of teenagers cheering, as the team's cheerleaders were on the side of the field.
Performing a quadruple back-flip with a perfect landing, was one of the cheerleaders, Kaikaina, in her cheerleading uniform, as she looked at the cheering crowd with a bright smile,
"When I say 'T-Shirt!' you say 'T-Shirt!', T-Shirt!" Kaikaina cheered out, throwing her arms up,
"T-Shirt!" The crowd cheered out,
"T-Shirt!" Kaikaina cheered out, doing a y-pose,
"T-Shirt!" The crowd cheered out,
"T-Shirt!" Kaikaina cheered out, doing a back-flip,
"T-Shirt!" The crowd cheered out,
"T-Shirt!" Kaikaina cheered out, kicking her right leg overhead,
"Where is this going!?" One of the crowd members yelled at Kaikaina, as the crowd stopped cheering and now looked annoyed, as the chanting was just going in a pointless loop.
Sitting at the top of the bleachers, A-Bomb, Ava, Julie, Metabee, Kaede, Tula and Jaime were sitting in a row, watching Kaikaina,
Jaime was looking through some binoculars, watching Kaikaina's cheering, "Wow... She is really bad at cheerleading..." Jaime couldn't help but address Kaikaina being a terrible cheerleader.
"I've never seen cheerleading before but I know that's not how you rally up with the audience." Tula said, looking concerned, as she turned to look at Julie, as she takes a bite of a pretzel.
Metabee turned to look at Jaime, "Hey, tonight isn't just about the game, tonight is also about Jaime and Flash being signed off as healed and finally back in action!" He said, looking happy,
A-Bomb, Julie, Kaede, Tula and turned to Jaime, all giving him smile, as it's been a month where Jaime and Flash has been bedridden healing from a battle with A-Bomb's brother, Kyoya, that injured both of them greatly.
But now both Flash and Jaime are healed up and tonight marks their triumph return with Flash coming back to his role as the football team's quarterback.
Jaime smiled back at the gang, "Thanks guys, and feels great to be back." He tells them,
"Well, you really didn't actually left; you were just sitting on the sidelines." Kaede mentioned to Jaime, as he and Flash were still walking distance from them as they were healing.
Jaime then gave Kaede a look of discomfort, "You didn't have Dr. Grey watching you, every second of every day and night..." He told her, remembering the experience of being under Dr. Grey's care and supervision.
(Flashback: A few days ago)
It was the dead of night, inside the Triskelion, in the med-bay,
Jaime was lying in a bed, fast asleep, but he stirs a bit and opens his eyes a little,
As he opens them, he sees, lying on top of the bed and himself, on her front, with her face in a very close range to his face, with her hands on her chin, looking right at him, was Dr. Grey as she was watching him.
Jaime just stared at her, with Blank White Eyes, total speechlessness, as Dr. Grey looked at him.
"Whatcha dreamin' about?" Dr. Grey asked Jaime, in a nonchalantly and in a happy tone.
Jaime kept staring at her, until he says something, "I was having a nightmare where I was being chased through a giant siders nest, by Pennywise on the back of a giant earworm..." Jaime answers her, before his blank expression changes to a slightly annoyed look, "... But now, I'd really like to go back to that..." He said, bluntly, wanting to get out of the land of the awakened and away from Dr. Grey,
(Flash-forward: Present)
Jaime goes Blank White Eyes, as his nose disappears, as his whole body shakes in discomfort from remembering how crazed Dr. Grey was.
A-Bomb sighed as he leaned back and looked up at the night sky, "It just sucks that Randy isn't here, we're all here celebrating but he couldn't make it." He mentioned,
Ava turned to look at A-Bomb, "Ever since his training started, Randy spends more time in the training room than at the SHED." She added,
"That's just Randy, he needs to get stronger for ours and everyone else's sake and safety, and we have to let him do this." Julie mentioned, as everyone agreed,
Meanwhile, in the Triskelion inside the training room,
Randy was doing his training with Ninjor,
The training room was pitch black as the lights were turned off, sitting in the middle of the room, legs crossed, with a single light was on, shining down on him, was Ninjor, as he was meditating.
Complete and utter silences was in the room, but then Ninjor tilted his head up slightly, as then, from within the shadows, a chain flies in, flying towards Ninjor, he quickly leaps up, dodging the chain, then the floors started rising to pillars and Ninjor wall jumps off one of them and lands on the highest pillar the stood, leaping out of the darkness, it was Ninja, with his chain scythe in both hands, as he swings the weighted end at him, but Ninjor catches it in his left hand, and then wrapped the chain around his wrist and he pulled on the chain, which pulls Ninja towards him, but he quickly lets go and goes over Ninjor's head and lands behind him.
Ninja then changes at Ninjor and tosses a right punch at the back of his head, but Ninjor shifted his head to the right, dodging it, Ninja then throws his left fist but Ninjor blocks it with his left hand, Ninja leaps up and swings his right leg, but Ninjor quickly ducks and spins around Ninja, as he lands, Ninjor was behind him, Ninja then spins around and leaps up, swinging both his feet for a double kick, but Ninjor blocks both of Ninja's feet with his both hands.
Ninja then jumps up and kicks his right foot at Ninjor, but Ninjor catches and stops it with just using his left index finger and thumb and held Ninja in the air, as he looked surprised, Ninjor then simply twisted his wrist and Ninja was thrown, spinning in mid-air, off the pillar and falling face first into the ground.
Ninjor walks over to the edge and looks down at the defeated Ninja, as the lights turns on, and the pillars then lowers back down.
Ninjor shook his head, "Sloppy, you call that an stealth attack? A clown with a marching band would have been stealthier than you." Ninjor told Ninja, as he steps off the platform and walks to him,
Ninja gets back up and takes off his mask, changing back to Randy, as he looked annoyed and frustrated, "I've been doing these stealth training exercises for a week now, when are you gonna start showing me some new moves and techniques?" Randy told Ninjor, as he leaps up and performs a flipping left axe kick at Ninjor.
But Ninjor quickly shifted to the right and Randy's leg misses Ninjor, and he grabs it with his left hand and Ninjor quickly spun around, pulling Randy with him and Ninjor lets go and tosses him across the room, and hits the wall.
Randy slides off the wall and falls off it, back first to the floor, Randy just had that look of frustration, as Ninjor walks over to him, looking down at him.
"If you wish to move forward, you must reconnect with the past, this whole parade of being a superhero has made you forget who you are, you are ninja; warrior of the shadows, the darkness is an ally." Ninjor explained to Randy, as he held out his left hand, offering to help him up.
Randy takes it and Ninjor pulls him back on his feet, while Randy still had a grim look on his face,
"But I have to learn this move, it's the most powerful move I've got and I gotta master it." Randy tells Ninjor, wanting most of all to learn and master the move with his leg that he used against Scorpion and Red X.
Ninjor nodded his head, as he began to walk around Randy, circling him, "Yes, you've told me about that, the technique is called 'Dragon's Leg' a powerful move that was created by the First Ninja, it all begins with your fire powers." Ninjor began to explain to him,
Randy looked surprised from hearing that his Ninja Rage Mode is the source of the move. "My Ninja Rage Mode, that move-I mean, Dragon's Leg comes from that?" He asked, as he turned his head to look at Ninjor, as he kept walking,
"When you active it, you spread the power all across your body, in which you can disperse the power in small quantity, like simply shooting fireballs for your hands, you're actually only used the power 25%, up until now you've been scratching the surface of your full potential." Ninjor explained some more to Randy, as he stopped circling him and looked at him.
Randy stared at him, completely focused on every word Ninjor was saying,
"With the Dragon's Leg, you focus all of the power into your leg, thus you unleash the full 100% power of the Ninja Mask into it." Ninjor finished explaining,
Randy now ponders all of that information; he understood that he needs to train more on his Ninja Rage Mode to master the Dragon's Leg.
Randy smiled, "So, this means you're gonna teach me on using the full power of my Ninja Rage Mode?" He asked Ninjor,
But then, Randy gets hit in the forehead by the butt of Ninjor's scabbard, knock his head back, "Gah-hooh!" Randy made as Ninjor pulls his scabbard back and Randy rubs his forehead, as a red mark was forming.
"Have you not been listening, you've only been using 25% of your power, your body is use to that amount, and the fact that you used Dragon's Leg on two occasions without being intuned with that amount of power, is nothing short of a miracle!" Ninjor explained to Randy, frustrated,
Randy looked confused, "Whaddaya mean?" He asked, not getting what he means,
"Had you done Dragon's Leg incorrectly by even the slightest, you would have blown both your legs clean off!" Ninjor tells him,
Randy's eyes goes Blank White Eyes in shock of hearing that, he did Dragon's Leg two times and there was a possible chance that he could have blasted both his legs off. He knew that move was powerful but it's that powerful?!
"Now, try to understand that it's not something that can be mastered overnight, you must be patient, you will learn it and master the Dragon's Leg, but it will a long road that you must prepare for." Ninjor explained to Randy,
Randy's eyes goes back to normal, and looked at Ninjor, with a look of understandment, as he bows to the ninja master. "Yes, Master," Randy said to him,
"Now then, time for sword training," Ninjor tells Randy, as he then tosses a at Randy it lands on his chest, the leaf transforms in a huge puff of smoke, into the Ataru in its scabbard, and once again, the weight pulls Randy back, as his eyes widen and he flails his arms, as he falls backward to the floor, hard.
"Hatin' this!" Randy said, annoyed as he laid there on the floor, now starting to hate getting smashed down to the floor.
Meanwhile, back at the football game,
The home team was doing a wide formation,
The linebackers were holding the defense, as Flash was behind the line, steps back and held up the game ball in his right hand and was about to throw it to the wide receiver.
On the sidelines, the cheerleaders were chanting, while forming a pyramid.
Cheerleaders: Flash! Flash! He's our man!
And then, on top of pyramid, was Kaikaina, hold her arms up, with a excited smile on her face, as she sees Flash,
Kaikaina: FLASH! FLASH! HE'S MY MAN!
She screamed out, making it clear to everyone that Flash is her boyfriend and that Kaikaina will rip out anyone's hair if they try to steal him for her.
Back at the bleachers, Ava's watch started beeping, getting everyone's attention, Ava lifted up her left wrist and looks at it.
Ava turned to look at Julie, Metabee, Kaede, Tula, A-Bomb and Jaime a serious look, "We've got trouble," She tells them,
Jaime held up his right fist up, with an excited smile on his face, "Awesome, sign me up, I'm ready to get back out on the field!" He said,
"Hold on, 'John McClane', it's a small time robbery of some jewellery store, nothing super-villain major." Ava told Jaime, with a blank expression, as it was a simple common robbery, which deflates Jaime.
A-Bomb stands up, "If it's just common criminals, it'll just be a quick job, I'll head over there and deal with the goons, you guys just stay here and I be there and back before the game's over." He tells his team, with a small smile, as he quickly walks off.
Julie watches A-Bomb, with a heartfelt smile as her eyes had a little twinkle in them, Metabee, Jaime, Tula, Ava and Kaede notices Julie getting all gaze-y.
"Uh, Jule, you're starting to drool..." Kaede mentions, as she pointed her left index finger,
Julie then snaps out of her trance and quickly started wiping her mouth with her right forearm, as her face started blushing, but she noticed that there wasn't any drool on her mouth at all, and Julie then turned to frown at Kaede, who was smiling, as she just said that just to mess with her.
Kaede and Metabee couldn't help back laugh at Julie, as her face goes redder with embarrassment,
"Julie, how much longer are you going to do this..?" Ava asked Julie, with a blank expression on her face,
Julie turned to Ava with a confusion expression, "What do you mean?" She asked,
"I mean it's as obvious to us but not to you that you like Rick and he likes you." Ava tells her,
Julie's eyes widen as she blushes some more, as she had a nervous smile on her, starting to laugh nervously as she closed her eyes, until she stops and turns back to watch the game, with a serious expression.
Ava, Kaede, Jaime, Metabee and Tula all gave Julie narrow looks, as their noses disappeared, as she was trying to ignore them.
In downtown Jump City, A-Bomb was running on rooftops, leaping from one to the other, heading toward the robbery at a jewellery store.
As he lands on the rooftop of the building that was facing the store, A-Bomb walks to the edge and looking down at the store, as the alarm was ringing.
"Hm, goons gotta be still inside..." A-Bomb said to himself, as he observers the scene, but then he looks up and sees the roof of the building and sees a familiar figure.
It was the mysterious girl from the art museum A-Bomb met days ago, as she was walking away,
"That girl again..? Better catch her," A-Bomb with a serious look, having a gut feeling that she was the one who robbed the jewelery store, as he then leaps from his rooftop to the other.
He land on it, where the mysterious girl turned and sees him, as she has an intriguing smile,
"Oh, Big Blue, I was wondering when I'd see you again," The Mysterious Girl said to A-Bomb, happy to see him again,
A-Bomb crosses his arms, "If you wanted to get my attention, you've got it." He tells her, with a frown on his face,
The Mysterious Girl puts her right index finger at her bottom lip and gave A-Bomb an innocent look, "Oh, and I thought that a flying girl would be inconspicuous (?)" She joked, as she flies off the ground and flies away.
A-Bomb sees this and sighs, "Oh, this again," He said, annoyed, as he gets a running start and leaps off the roof, chasing after the Mysterious Girl.
The Mysterious Girl flies across the city, as she looked behind her and sees A-Bomb leaping from rooftop to rooftop, she smirks and she flies faster, and A-Bomb had to pushing himself further just to keep up with her.
A-Bomb leaps far in the air, just managing to reach the Mysterious Girl and she and him turned and looked at each other, until A-Bomb gets pulled back and falls,
"How the view back there (?)" The Mysterious Girl said to A-Bomb, joking as she flew,
A-Bomb was running across a rooftop and leaps up to face the Mysterious Girl and looked at her, "It'll be better if you slowed down a bit (!)" He replied back, as he fell back again,
A-Bomb lands on another rooftop and stops as he looks ahead and sees a tall building and sees that the Mysterious Girl was about to pass it, A-Bomb then sprints as fast as he could and leaps a great distance, passing her and he reaches the side of the building and leaps off it, the Mysterious Girl was just about to pass, A-Bomb tackles her and the two of them falls towards a building roof and lands on it, tumbling around until A-Bomb rolls onto his feet and stands up, holding the Mysterious Girl in his arms.
A-Bomb had his arms wrapped around the Mysterious Girl, as she looked confused and outraged,
"Hey!" She said, looking at A-Bomb, as her feet was off the ground,
A-Bomb gave the Mysterious Girl with a serious look, "Alright, fun's over, I'm taking you in," He tells her,
The Mysterious Girl laughs a little, "Right..." She said, as she shimmies her forearms upward and against A-Bomb's arms, and with a powerful push, she breaks A-Bomb's hold of her with total ease, as she floats and quickly grabs A-Bomb's right arms with both hands and she pulls him off his feet and tosses A-Bomb across the roof and he smashes into an air vent.
A-Bomb was leaning on the smashed vent, upside down, with his eyes Blank White Eyes, looking speechless on what just happened, not only that this girl has the power of flight, she's also as strong as Julie.
The Mysterious Girl walks up to A-Bomb and leaned down to stare at him with an annoyed face, "I really don't take kindly to people who manhandles me, but I'm willing to give you a pass cuz you're cute." She told A-Bomb, giving a small smirk,
She straightens up and turned to walk away, A-Bomb quickly gets back up and walks up to her, grabbing her by her left arm with his right hand and turning her around to face him, as he gave her a serious look.
"Hand over the jewels you took," A-Bomb ordered her, demanding that she surrenders the jewels.
The Mysterious Girl started laughing, "Jewels?" She said, not knowing what he was talking about,
A-Bomb lets go of her arm and pointed his left finger at her, accusingly, "I saw you walking away from that jewellery store, y'know, the one with the alarm blasting (?)" He said to her,
The Mysterious Girl takes a step back, holding both arms up, "Does it look like I have bags of diamonds on me or if my outfit has pockets (?)" She asked sarcastically, pointing out that she doesn't have any bags filled with jewels in hand and that leotards are not known to have pockets.
"You just flew away the second I showed up, you wouldn't have run if you did steal something." A-Bomb explained to her, not believing that she's telling the truth,
The Mysterious Girl then had a mischievous smile forms on her mouth as she floats off the ground and moves towards A-Bomb, leaning her upper body down, with her arms behind her back, showing A-Bomb some of her cleavage, which made A-Bomb's eyes widen and his whole face to go red.
"You're right, I might have hidden them in my outfit, wanna do a strip-search of me just to be sure..?" She offered, in a extremely flirty tone of voice,
A-Bomb's face goes even more redder, as his eyes goes Blank White Eyes and his nose disappears, as steam was blowing out of his head and A-Bomb quickly jumps back a few feet from her, with his arms up in a bend positions.
The Mysterious Girl straights up and started laughing on how shy and embarrassed A-Bomb had just gotten, as she floats down to gently place her feet back on the ground, "Look, if it makes you feel better, the thieves who robbed that store were just caught four minutes ago by the cops just nine miles from here." The Mysterious Girl tells him,
A-Bomb's eyes goes back to normal and his nose reappears as he is face becomes a little less red, at being told that the real crooks have been apprehended. "Wait, how do you know?" He asked her, suspiciously.
She pointed her left index finger at her left ear, "Hyper sonic hearing, I can hear anything from miles away." She tells him,
A-Bomb was surprised, first there was flying, then super strength and now super-hearing, this girl was just full of surprises, as he was now convinced that she is not the thief.
The Mysterious Girl then turned away from A-Bomb and began to walk away; A-Bomb noticed her walking away,
"Hey, wait! What's your name?" A-Bomb asked her, wanting to know who she was and not have her leave without anything like last time,
She stops and turned her head to the left a little, smiling, "Me..? I'm Galatea..." She introduces herself as she turned around to face A-Bomb, "... And you are?" Galatea asked, since she told him her name, she wanted to know his.
"Uh, my name's A-Bomb..." A-Bomb introduced himself, looking a bit awkward,
"Mm... Well... See you round... A-Bomb..." Galatea smiled gently, bidding goodbye to him, as she puts her right hand on her lips and blew a kiss at A-Bomb, as she floats off the ground and flies off into the sky.
A-Bomb was left there, looking up into the night sky, "Whoa..." He said, as he failed to muster the words as he had a feeling that he'll be seeing Galatea again,
A few hours later, now at the Triskelion's Island, inside the building, in the meeting room, Washington and Centorea were in the room, with Randy, Ava, Julie, Metabee, Kaikaina and A-Bomb all sitting around the table.
"That's what Taskmaster's building, a portal?" Metabee asked, as Wash and Centorea had just finished explaining to all of them what they've uncovered.
"So, it's a portal, the real question is a portal to where?" Ava asked, as that was the question that left her very unnerved,
"And this was a failed S.H.I.E.L.D. project, what did they hope to gain from a portal?" A-Bomb asked,
"We don't know, practically every that connects on what it was has been erased from the database, and even with that half that Taskmaster stole from us, there wasn't enough to go on." Centorea explained to the team,
"Didn't Fury say anything, what it was and why S.H.I.E.L.D. would go out of its way to make sure this whole thing never sees the light of day?" Julie asked,
Washington crossed his arms, as he shook his head, "Director Fury had explained that the project was deemed a failure after an explosion that took the lives of many of the scientists and engineers who worked on the project, including a small team of S.H.I.E.L.D. personal. But with all that, he only commissioned the project, he was in the dark about most of it," Wash tells them,
"But were there survivors? Anyone who survive the explosion who could give us something to go on with what and where the portal was supposed to go?" Ava suggested the idea,
Centorea sighed, "The survivors' names were left blank from the records, no names and no trace." She tells them,
Metabee looked confused, "Why would all the names be scrubbed, that's just plain stupid!" Metabee said,
"This was a government funded project, behind closed curtains; the ones who survived had their names scrubbed from protection." Wash finished explaining,
"So, we've got no leads and no idea who to ask about the whole thing..." Randy listed down what they know now,
"We don't have much to bank on but Washington and I will keep searching for more information on this, in the meantime, we'll keep focused on our goal; stopping and taking down Taskmaster and The Syndicate." Ava tells her teammates, as Kaikaina, Randy, A-Bomb, Julie and Metabee all nodded in agreement.
"Well, if there no loose ends to tie up, this meeting is adjourned." A-Bomb said, as he stands up off his chair, as the others followed and the team leaves the room, leaving Washington and Centorea there.
Centorea turned to look at Wash with a prideful smile, "They're getting more emotional mature with their mission," She mentions to her partner,
"Hm... But they still treat it like a game." Wash added, bitterly,
Some time passes, as it was now 2:30 AM, and inside the SHED, A-Bomb was walking to the kitchen wearing pajama pants, with a half tired look on his face,
When he enters the kitchen, he sees that the light was on and saw Randy, in his pajama, sitting at the table and eating a bowl of ramen.
A-Bomb looked confused, as Randy turned to see him, as he slurps up some noodles.
Randy gave A-Bomb a straight face, "Can't sleep?" He asked, taking a guess,
A-Bomb shook his head as he walks over to the fridge and opens it, and reaches his right hand into it and takes out a sandwich, he turned to look at Randy, "Got little hungry," He answered him, "What about you?" A-Bomb asked,
Randy just shrugged as he held some noodles up with his chopsticks, "A lot on my mind," He tells A-Bomb, plain and simple.
A-Bomb sits down on the chair across the table from Randy, "How's the training going?" He asked Randy, wondering about Randy progress with Ninjor's training.
Randy sighed, "It's been going alright, but Ninjor can be pretty judge-y with my performance sometimes, he just kinda acts too uppity on being a teacher." He explained as he stands up and turned around, "'Your kicks are too low, keep your arms straighter, you swing a sword like you swing a bucket of water; clumsy, your steps are as silent as an elephant with bull-horns for feet.'" Randy impersonates Ninjor,
A-Bomb laughed as Randy's impersonation was funny,
Randy turned to look at A-Bomb with a annoyed expression, "I mean it's like I'm being trained by my mom." He said, until his face quickly turned to shock as he realized what he just said, as he sees A-Bomb, who stopped laughing and looking somber.
A-Bomb's relationship with his mother, Reese has gotten extremely strained, after finding out that she had Kyoya imprisoned for four years in an S.H.I.E.L.D. facility and she never told him.
He haven't talked to her for nearly a month, and everyone is concerned for A-Bomb when he just wants to change the subject immediately or just says that he's fine and walks away.
Randy had an awkward face, "Uh... Sorry, Rick, I didn't mean..." He apologized, as he didn't mean to say that.
But A-Bomb just shook his head and waved his left hand, "It's alright, Randy, it's... fine..." He tells him,
Randy then sits back down in his chair and just looked at A-Bomb, as there was now an awkward silence in the kitchen.
Randy had an uncomfortable look, as he decided to break the ice, "Sooo... You're birthday's comin' up..." Randy said, with an awkward smile, reminding A-Bomb that his birthday was just around the corner, A-Bomb was going to turn 17.
A-Bomb just shrugged his shoulders, as his birthday wasn't really on his mind lately, especially with everything that's been going on.
"Got any big plans..?" Randy asked, awkwardly,
"Ahh... Nothing really comes to mind..." A-Bomb tells him, blankly,
Randy tried really hard to think of something else to say, "Anywhere you'd like to go..?" He asked, still with awkwardness on his face.
"Well, usually I go to Manila for my birthday... But I feel like just giving it a miss this year..." A-Bomb answered half-heartedly,
Randy looked at A-Bomb with concern, he knew that A-Bomb wouldn't want to go to the Philippines because of his mom,
Randy now had a concerned look, "Y'know, Rick, maybe it'll be a good idea to talk with your mom, it's been weeks of radio silence with you two and she gave you sometime to cool off but I think it's time to reach out to her." Randy suggested, hoping A-Bomb would do it.
A-Bomb just stared at Randy, before he sighed, "It's not that easy, Randy, my Mom kept something that I had a right to know about for four years, in the those four years, she's made me believe that Kyoya was somewhere in space with a band of marauders, and the fact that I had to learn that all this time my brother was imprisoned in a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility of all places, and she kept quiet about it, I had a right to know." He explained to Randy, with a depressed expression on his face.
Randy understood what he was saying, A-Bomb has a good right to be upset, "Look, Rick, it's none of my business and I ain't tellin' you what to do, I'm just sayin' if it was my mom, I'd let things cold down and then try and reach out to her, talk to her." Randy tells A-Bomb, suggesting,
A-Bomb looked at Randy, as he stands up and takes his now empty bowl to the sink, and walks out of the kitchen, "Night, Rick," Randy tells A-Bomb as he exits the kitchen, and headed back to bed.
Leaving A-Bomb alone in the kitchen, as he thinks with great thought about what Randy suggested, he doesn't want to ignore his mom forever, be anger at her, but she kept secrets from him, especially about their family, A-Bomb didn't know what to do.
The next day, at upper Jump City,
Kaikaina and Flash were walking down the street, with Kaikaina's arms around Flash's right arm, as they two of them were on a date; Kaiakaina was back in her normal clothes, as she cuddled with Flash's arm with a kitten like smile.
"Ahh, the best day with my best gal," Flash said, as he smiled at Kaikaina,
Kaikaina smiled back at her boyfriend, as she nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I really missed this, Flash." She said, as the time of seeing Flash in that hospital bed was tough on her, but seeing him, now healed up and back on his feet and taking her on a date, made her so happy.
Flash leans his head back a bit, looking up at the sky, as he sighs a bit, "And I'm itchin' to get back in action, sitting in that bed all that time, I just wanna get back in the field!" He said, as he was ready to get back into the hero game after being benched for a while.
Then, Kaikaina puts her right index finger on Flash's lips, which made Flash widen eyed, as he looked at Kaikaina, who had a playful smile,
"Shh... No more talk about work, today is just going to be us," Kaikaina tells Flash, gently, as today was just going to focus on them.
As she removes her fingers from his lips, Flash smiled as he nodded, as he knew Kaikaina was right, he'll get his call back into action soon, but he can wait for that as of right now, he wants to spend the whole day with his girlfriend.
Kaikaina then goes back to hugging Flash's arm, and the couple continued walking down the street, but as they were walking, Kaikaina looks ahead and sees Alice, walking down the street, towards them.
"Oh, it's Alice!" Kaikaina said, as she lets go of Flash's arm and walks ahead to greet Alice, she walks up to her, as she sees her and the two of them stops. "Hey, Alice," Kaikaina greeted Alice, smiling,
Alice smiled back, "Hi, haven't seen you in a while," Alice said to Kaikaina,
"Yeah, I've been busy these past few weeks." Kaikaina tells her, as Flash walks up to the two and puts his left arm around Kaikaina's shoulders,
"Hey," Flash greeted Alice, smiling,
"Oh, hey, I was wondering where you were, you haven't been in school for nearly a month." Alice said to Flash, with a look of concern,
"Oh, yeah, uh, me and my friend Jaime got into a bad car crash, was in the hospital for a while, but now, all healed up and out and about." Flash tells Alice, retelling the real reason why Flash and Jaime weren't in school for a few weeks.
"Well, it's great to see you alright," Alice tells Flash, happy,
Kaikaina than had a confused look on her face as she just realized something, "Hey, Alice, we did catch you at the game yesterday?" She asked, wondering why Alice was at the football game last night as everyone at school was there.
"Yes, I was busy with a family matter last night, nothing serious." Alice tells her, with a gentle smile,
"Well, love to stay and chat but Flash and I are on a date," Kaikaina tells Alice, as she hugs her arms around Flash's left arm,
"Oh, then I'll let you two off then, happy to see you alright." Alice tells Flash, as she walks off, waving the two of them with a smile,
Kaikaina and Flash smiles as they returned a wave at her, but when she was gone, Kaikaina's smile then quickly disappears to a suspicious look, as she turned to look at Flash, who had a conflicted look,
After learning there was a traitor in their group of friends, the suspects were narrowed down to Alice and Casey, they haven't figured out which one is Red X but they have to be observant with both of them.
But then, both Kaikaina and Flash's watches started to beep, as they were being called back to the Triskelion.
Kaikaina's nose disappears as she groans in disappointment as they have to cut her and Flash's date early, as the two quickly made their way back to Triskelion Island.
An hour later, flying in the Quinjet high in the sky,
In the jet, piloting it was Metabee, in her seat of navigation was White Tiger, standing next to them was A-Bomb and Julie, sitting in the cargo hold, was Kaede, Kaikaina, Cyandog, Agent Venom, Aquagirl and Blue Beetle.
But standing was Ninja, who now had the Ataru in its scabbard on his back, as he was going to take it into battle for the first time.
An hour ago, a laboratory in Germany has been attacked and the team was sent to stop the attackers.
Kaede then turned to look at A-Bomb, "So, any ideas on who's the target?" She asked him, if he had a few guesses on who's attacking that laboratory.
A-Bomb turned around to look at her, "Only one guess being The Syndicate, as that lab has something Taskmaster wants." A-Bomb tells her,
"An experimental hadron collider, more compacted but 30 times more powerful than the LHC, and I bet my little claw that Taskmaster wants to use it on what he's building." White Tiger explained, as she watched the skies.
"And from the report, a few of Taskmaster's lieutenants are with the Syndicate, so everyone don't take this mission lightly." Julie tells the whole team, as main six won't be enough against The Syndicate and Taskmaster's lieutenants, which were the reason the team needed their new recruits.
Ninja has his arms crossed, "Well, whatever numbers they've got, it's time to see what this baby can do!" Ninja said, as he looked over his right shoulder to look at the Ataru, eager to use his new sword in a fight.
Now in Germany, at an large offsite faculty far from a major city,
In the lab, some of the scientists and engineers were being held hostage as they were on the floor, against the wall as they were guarded by Killer Croc, while Toad and Harley was securing cables around the experimental hadron collider, while Felix, Poison Ivy and Killer Frost were observing everything.
Killer Frost had her arms crossed, with a scowl on her face, "Being sent to do pick up, isn't putting my abilities to their full use!" She said, irritated, she has 'Killer' in her name for a reason but yet Taskmaster has not given her any assignments that lets her live up to that title.
Felix turned to look at Frost, "Relax, Frosty, if you're a good girl, I might let ya turn one of these scientists into a pile of shattered ice (!)" Felix joked, which made Frost sneer at him,
"You'd think Taskmaster would want a fully operational collider instead of an experimental one." Poison Ivy mentioned, pointing out the dangers of using a device that hasn't been fully completed or tested yet.
Felix shrugged his shoulders as he turned to Ivy, "Spoken like a true mad scientist..." He tells Ivy, bluntly,
Ivy looked at Felix, with a confused look, "What? I am not a mad scientist, I see myself as a passionate environmentalist." She said, putting her right hand on her chest, with a bright smile and her eyes were closed, as from out of nowhere, a beam of light shined down on her, to only illustrate her own righteousness.
Felix and Frost turned SD, both having arms crossed, giving Poison Ivy, who was basing in her glow, unimpressed glares,
"You work for a guy who wears a skull mask, we're building something super illegal and using extreme and violent means to build said thing, and you're smart, egotistical, always reminding everyone that you're the smartest one, while doing crazy experiments and you are evil, so in final discloser, you are a mad scientist." SD Felix listed down Ivy's entire traits,
Poison Ivy's shining light quickly disappears, as her eyes opened, as they when Blank White Eyes, in shock of hearing that, she then quickly turned to look at SD Felix and Frost, as her eyes goes back to normal, but her nose disappears.
"WHAT?! I am not some mad scientist!" Ivy yelled, as she refuses to be some kind of stereotypical evil mad scientist.
Felix and Frost goes back to normal, while Frost had an amused smile on her face, "Smart and evil equals... Mad scientist..." She told Ivy, mocking her,
Ivy then goes SD, as she spins her arms around at them, with an angry look, as her eyes were closed, "I am not, take it back!" SD Ivy whined at Frost and Felix as they're mocking upset her, not wanting the title of 'Mad Scientist'.
Then, a huge explosion blasts the wall open, which gets all of The Syndicate attention as they all turned to the crater in the wall, as the smoke cleared, standing before them was S.P.D. facing all of them with readied stances, while Metabee's head was slightly tilted down a bit, as his horn's missile barrels were smoking.
"Release the hostages and we'll keep the face-smashin' to a minimum." A-Bomb told The Syndicate, with a serious face,
Metabee lifted his head up to face them, "The minimum being about 95% (!)" Metabee joked, clenching his fists,
Felix un-crossed his arms, as he notices Blue Beetle and Agent Venom, "Ha, happy to see you two back in action, I saw the video feed of you two gettin' your skulls caved in by the freak with the green hair." He mocked them, recapping Beetle and Venom's brutal defeat by Kyoya.
Agent Venom steps forward, with an angry scowl in his eyes, glaring at Felix, "How about I remind you what I did to ya at the docks, only this time I'll tear off more than armor!" He threated Felix,
"Oh-ho, big talk, slime-boy (!)" Killer Frost told Agent Venom, brushing off his threat,
Felix then pointed his left index finger at them, "Take them!" He ordered his team, as The Syndicate all charges at S.P.D.
Julie then quickly steps ahead of the team and swings both arms and performs a power clap that creates a powerful shockwave that pushed The Syndicate back a few feet, near Felix, who kept standing there.
Agent Venom held up his right fist, with an excited look in his eyes, "Ha, game time!" He said, as he changes at Killer Croc and tackles him, as the two engage in a brawl,
Felix and Frost then aimed their hands at S.P.D. and fires an energy beam and a ice beam at them, A-Bomb and Blue Beetle quickly changes forward, as Beetle deploys two large shields on both arms and takes Killer Frost's ice blast, while A-Bomb stuck his chest out and takes Felix's energy blast, where he endures, then both Beetle and A-Bomb moves aside, where Kaikaina and Metabee charged passed them, with Kaikaina holding her rifle and she and Metabee starts firing at them, where Frost and Felix jumps out of the way.
Poison Ivy then used her powers to make a large roots burst out from underground and tear the floors apart, and burst under Kaikaina and Metabee's feet, where the two of them were thrown off their balance and quickly jumps off it.
White Tiger, Kaede and Blue Beetle crouch down behind the root,
Tiger turns her head to look at them, "Kaede, Beetle, get all the hostages out of the building," She gives them orders,
Kaede nodded, as she quickly sprints off, while Blue Beetle's two horns on his shoulders lights up and started making beeping sounds.
Beetle turned away from Tiger and had a annoyed look on his face, "Will you quit bossing me around, Goober!" Beetle said, annoyed until his eyes widen in realization of something and turned back to White Tiger, who gave him insulted and annoyed look, thinking that he was talking to her.
As Tiger runs to the fight, leaving Beetle there, with an exasperated look, "Oh great (!) Now Tiger thinks I'm an jerk," He said, as his horns started beeping again, Beetle turned to look at them, now more annoyed. "Well, how am I supposed to tell her that you started talkin' to me!?" Beetle said to his armor, which gained sentience while he was recovering.
Harley leaps up into the air, holding up her mallet over her and swung it down at Aquagirl, who quickly doges it, and the hammer smashing into the floor, but Harley quickly pulls her mallet up and spins it around with great speed, before she swings it at Aquagirl, but she blocks it with her right forearm, and she then swings her left fist at her forearm, and with the force of it, bouncing it off her and Aquagirl then spun around and swings her right fist and back hands Harley across her face, knocking her back a few feet but Harley regains her footing and ran back at Aquagirl, swinging her mallet to the right but Aquagirl leaps up and delivers a double bicycle kick, knocking her back.
While Blue Beetle and Kaede were getting all the hostages out of the faculty, Toad was going up against Julie,
The two of them were circling each other, glaring at each other,
"You're going up against me? I thought you were smart enough to know that I can turn you into a nasty little smear on the wall." Julie tells Toad with a smirk on her face.
But Toad grinned, "Hey, I ain't book smart or nuthin', but I know when to have a helpin' hand (!)" Toad said, mockingly,
Julie looked confused, until, from up above the ceiling, Cinderblock lands behind Julie, smashing the floor, which made Julie turn and sees the rock monster, as he quickly grabs Julie with his right hand, lifting her off the ground and then tosses her across the room,
"GAAH!" Julie cried out, looking surprised as she was caught off-guard, as she smashes into the wall with a great deal of force, and falls to the floor.
Landing next to Cinderblock, was Giganta, as Metabee and Cyandog see the two of Taskmaster's lieutenants, Metabee then go into a readied stance, while Cyandog had a wondering look.
"Wait, were you two just hanging from the ceiling?" Cyandog asked, wondering if they actually hung from the ceiling, Giganta mush have hung up there, no problem but a giant concrete monster like Cinderblock hanging up in the ceiling like a bat, and were they just up there this whole time.
Giganta turned to look down at the two Medabots with a sinister smile on her face, "It's called 'Strategic planning'" She told them, as she started to grow to giant sized, and pulls her left fist back and tosses it at Metabee and Cyandog, they two of them quickly jumps out of the way, dodging and the fist smashes into the floor.
Beetle and Kaede was finishing evacuating the hostages out of the building, they now got into the fight,
White Tiger was fighting Killer Frost, as she had ice daggers in both hands, swinging them at Tiger, who was quickly stepping back, dodging and ducking from her attacks, Tiger then ducks Frost's right slash and takes a step in and delivers an open palm uppercut to Frost's chin, knocking her back a few feet, and making her drop her daggers, Frost gritted her teeth in rage as she then aimed both hands at Tiger and fires a ice beam at her, but Tiger quickly jumps and rolls on the ground, dodging and then performing a handstand and launches herself off the ground and flips midair and lands on her feet.
White Tiger stood her ground, until an unsuspecting blast of energy comes in and hits Tiger at her back, knocking her on her knees, Tiger had a look of pain in her eyes, with her right eye being closed, as she turned around and sees, standing behind her was Garnet, who was pointing the bladed end of her spear at her, as it was glowing with energy.
Garnet narrows her eyes at Tiger, while she look shocked, A-Bomb told her that Garnet was in Taskmaster's crew but she had to see it for herself, White Tiger quickly shakes off her shocked look and replaces it with a serious scowl as she gets back up and turns to face Garnet, getting into a readied stance.
"A-Bomb told me you were rolling in with Taskmaster, but I just couldn't believe it." Tiger told Garnet,
The winged girl lifts up her spear, "I haven't forgotten what you and A-Bomb did for me at Christmas, but I am indebted to Tasmaster's second-in-commend, and I have been giving the orders to kill both you and A-Bomb, then I will complete my mission, regardless of who I have to eliminate from the equation" Garnet told White Tiger, spinning her spear and then aiming it at her in a fighting stance.
Tiger narrowed her eyes, with learning that Garnet owes Mistral and is acting like her own attackdog,
"Hey!" The sound of Killer Frost's voice called out, as Tiger quickly turned and sees Frost, who leaped into the air towards her, with her right arm encased in ice as her hand was in a spiked ice mace, and swings it down at Tiger, who quickly reacted and jumps backwards, as the mace smashes into the ground.
But when Tiger's feet lands on the ground, Garnet thrusted her spear at Tiger, who side steps to the left, dodging and turned her body around, as she swings her left claw at Garnet, but she thrusts her spear downward and blocks Tiger's attack with the hilt of the spear, Tiger sees Frost charging at Tiger, holding up her ice mace coated fist as she tosses a punch at her, but Tiger quickly drops and performs a perfect leg split on the floor, dodging Killer Frost's punch, and the spiked mace was heading towards Garnet, who quickly moves her head and the mace narrowly misses her, Tiger then quickly leaps up and delivers a double kick to both Garnet and Killer Frost, knocking them back a few feet, as White Tiger lands on her feet and got into a readied stance, glaring at the two of them.
Meanwhile, Agent Venom was tossed into a wall by Killer Croc, as he threw his right fist at him, but Venom ducks and Croc's fist smashes into the wall, Venom then delivers a left uppercut to Croc's jaw, knocking back, as Venom delivers another uppercut with his right, and tosses one more, but Croc's tail quickly grabs Venom's wrist, wrapping around it tightly and stops his punch, Venom's eyes widen in shock, as Croc then uses his tail to pull Venom off the ground and swings him over head and smashes Venom into the ground, he laid on his back, he opens his eyes and sees Croc snaps his jaws open and was about to take a nasty bite out of him, but Agent Venom quickly shoots a web out of his right wrist and the web hits Croc's face, shutting his jaw shut, catching him off-guard.
Killer Croc tries to tear the web off, but Agent Venom quickly gets back up and and deploys his shoulder missiles and fires a barrage of missiles at Croc, hitting and blasting him,
Somewhere else, A-Bomb, Ninja and Kaikaina were fighting against Poison Ivy and her giant root, as she was standing on top of it, Ninja held up the Ataru with both hands as he held it up and swings it down, slicing one of the root's tendrils, Kaikaina was firing her blasters at Poison Ivy, but she used the root's tendrils to block the shots, A-Bomb sees a large tendril coming towards him to deliver a powerful blow, but A-Bomb pulls his right fist back and delivers a powerful punch that clashes against the tendril, but the tendril was pushed back with ease.
Ninja slashes three tendrils with one swing, but unknown, behind him another tendril was behind him and was about to attack from behind, but then, three kunais were tossed and hits it in a row, stopping its attack and pinning it on the ground, Ninja turned to see the pinned tendril and looks up and sees Kaede and she lands with two kunais in both hands.
A-Bomb turned to look at Kaede, as she looked at him, "All the hostages are outta the building." Kaede informs A-Bomb that she and Blue Beetle got the hostages out, and now joining the fight.
A-Bomb then notices, from across the room, Felix was running into another room, A-Bomb knew that Felix was gonna make a run for it, he was not going to let Felix get away, he turned to look at Kaikaina.
"I'm going after Felix," A-Bomb tells Kaikaina, as she nodded, before A-Bomb turned to face Ninja, "Ninja, you're with me," He said to him, as A-Bomb will need Ninja's help on dealing with Felix.
Ninja nodded, giving a left thumbs up, "You got it, A-B!" He agreed,
Then, A-Bomb and Ninja leaps up into the air, jumping over Poison Ivy and lands, immediately starts sprinting across the room, they ran pass Cyandog, who was fighting Toad, then Julie, delivering a thunderous punch to Cinderblock, and going passed Aquagirl, fighting Harley.
Until Ninja and A-Bomb reached Giganta, while was at her feet, firing his gauntlet and horn missiles, which didn't harm her due to her large size, as she stood between A-Bomb and Ninja and the other room, A-Bomb charged forward, as Giganta sees them and pulls her left fist back and throws it down at him, but A-Bomb jumps, and her fist smashes into the ground, where A-Bomb lands and continued running, sprinting up her arm, reaching her left shoulder and leaps off of it, landing on the ground behind her.
Giganta looked over her shoulder to see A-Bomb, who kept running, until she turned and sees Ninja, who didn't attempt to jump over her, but he charged in-between Giganta's legs, with a smug look in his eyes.
"And slide!" Ninja yelled out with excitement, as he stops running and slides his feet across the floor, sliding passed Giganta's legs, with his head tilted up, taking a look up Giganta's skirt and sees her panties!
Giganta's face goes red; her nose disappears as her eyes goes Blank White Eyes, "GAH!" She cried in shock, as she quickly closes her legs, moving her hands on the helm of her skirt to cover her panties from Ninja's eyes.
Ninja slides passed her, and started running again, with a satisfied look in his eyes, getting a nice look up Giganta's skirt. "Ha-ha! Always wanted to do that!" He said, saving and locking that image of Giganta's panties in his mind forever.
Now entering the next room, Felix ran across it, where he sees, to his surprise, Red X and Black Velocity, who were looming over a engineer, who was building some small disk like device.
"It's finished," The engineer tells Red X and Black Velocity, as he hands them the disk device.
Red X takes the device in his right hand and obverses it, before looking at the engineer, with a serious scowl. "And it can deliver on what we asked for?" He asked,
"It's small but it can deliver a bolt of electricity of 230 volts, per your demands." The engineer tells them,
Black Velocity crossed his arms as he turned to look at Red X, "You think 230 volt is too much? Taskmaster made it very clear that we need her alive." He asked him, wondering,
"I don't need a reminder, besides it's going to take something with a lotta horsepower to take her down." Red X told Black Velocity, assuring him,
"Hey!" The sound of Felix's voice was heard, as the two turned and sees Felix walk towards them, "What are you doing here?" He asked, demanding to know,
Red X then attaches the disk on to his belt, as he covers himself with his cape, "Our assignment, you should be in the other room, keeping S.P.D. busy." He told Felix,
Felix was angered, as he put it together that Taskmaster doesn't want that experimental hadron collider, he wanted something else that this outsight lab can proved, and once again, he has used The Syndicate as a distraction so the Vanguards can complete the real mission.
Felix tightens his fists, as energy was glowing from them, he wasn't some decoy, he knows he more powerful than Red X and Black Velocity.
"Yo!" The sound of a familiar voice was hear, that gets the attention of Felix, as he turned and sees, Ninja, who leaped into the air and stuck his left leg out, "Ninja Surprise Kick!" He yelled out, as he delivers a kick to Felix's head, that sends him flying a few feet, but he kept his footing.
Red X and Black Velocity both turned to see Ninja and running up was A-Bomb, as the two heroes stares down the three villains, while the engineer quickly ran out of the fight.
Red X takes a look at Ninja's ōdachi in his hands, "Hm, nice sword, but I feel like I don't need to tell you about overcompensating (!)" He tells Ninja, joking as the Ataru is just a compensating joke out of the open.
Ninja narrowed his eyes, as his grip on the Ataru's handle, getting into a readied stance, as did A-Bomb, prepared for a fight.
Red X raised his right eyebrow, as he looked at Ninja, "What, no clever comeback or humorous quip? A little out of character for you, Ninja," He said to him,
Of course Ninja would be completely and fully focused in his rematch with Red X, he was going to give 100% into taking him down.
Red X and Black Velocity prepared themselves for a fight,
Ninja then charges towards Red X, and leaps into the air, holding the Ataru overhead and swings it down at him, but Red X deploys his X daggers and blocks the Ataru's blade, Ninja's feet touches the ground and Red X lunges his right dagger at Ninja, but he quickly ducks and dodges it, Ninja pulls the Ataru back, as the blade grinds against Red X's dagger, and he spins his whole body around and swings the sword back ar Red X, who leaps back, flipping backwards and lands on his feet, getting a good distance between him and Ninja.
Red X glared at Ninja with an unimpressed scowl, "Have you even used that sword in a fight, cuz' you're swinging like a klutz, who's blindfolded, armed with a mop (!)" He told him,
Ninja narrowed his eyes, "I've alright got someone bustin' my chops, I don't need any from you!" He retorted back, as he's had lots of insults from Ninjor about his sword skills, Ninja didn't need any more from his enemy.
A-Bomb was about to run in to help Ninja, but he was stop when Black Velocity as he ran up in front of him, stopping him, as he had his arms crossed.
"I would have thought I'd had to fight Ninja, I never expected I'd be squaring off with you, I mean I bet your reaction speed is as fast as a glacier (!)" Black Velocity joked, as he knows that A-Bomb isn't made for speed.
A-Bomb narrowed his eyes and he quickly throws his left fist at Black Velocity as fast as he could, but Black Velocity reacted much faster, as he uses his super speed to move and dodges A-Bomb's fist, A-Bomb then started to throw a barrage of punches at Black Velocity but he dodges every punch with total ease, before Black Velocty ran away from A-Bomb, in a blink of an eye, and before he could reacted, Black Velocity was charging at him at great speed, delivering a powerful right punch at A-Bomb's face, knocking him back a few feet, as his feet was dragged across the floor.
As A-Bomb was straightens himself out, an energy blast flies towards him, hitting him in the torso, that blast came from Felix, who ran across and stood in-front of Black Velocity, as he turned his head to look behind him and at Black Velocity.
"Stay in your lane, Jones is mine!" Felix told Black Velocity, as the satisfaction of killing A-Bomb was to be befallen to Felix.
Black Velocity then shrugged his shoulders and held out his right hand, gesture that read 'Fine, go for it'.
Felix then turned to face A-Bomb, but he saw the blue hulk charging towards Felix, throwing a right punch at him, Felix quickly reacted and lifted up his left forearm, activing his energy shield, where A-Bomb's fist clashes against it, knocking Felix back a few feet, but he quickly recovers and charges back at A-Bomb, leaping upward and his right fist was glowing is energy and delivers a powerful punch to A-Bomb's face, but he took the blow and stood his ground, as he quickly grabs Felix's right wrist and tosses him upward, Felix then started falling back down to the ground, he quickly positions himself and fires two energy beams from both hands, firing at A-Bomb, but he quickly jumped out of the way, as Felix reaches the ground gently as the energy beams slowed down his fall.
A-Bomb then ran in, tossing his right fist and then his left, but Felix quickly pulls his head back, dodging the right fist and ducks at the left and spins around behind A-Bomb, where he jumps and throws a right energy punch, hitting A-Bomb across the face, A-Bomb then swings his left arm at him, but Felix ducks and delivers two punches with each fists to A-Bomb stomach, but the punches just bounces off him, and A-Bomb reaches his right hand and grabs Felix by the shoulder and lifts him off the ground, before Felix could react, A-Bomb delivers a powerful left punch to the torso and sends him flying across the room, before smashing into a wall.
With Felix down and out, A-Bomb turned and sees Black Velocity, charging towards him at high speed, delivering a right punch to A-Bomb's left side, knocking him back a bit, A-Bomb turned to where Black Velocity ran to, and sees him charging back at him where he delivers another punch, nearly knocks A-Bomb off his feet, but recovers and balance, then Black Velocity appeared in front of A-Bomb at a distance.
Black Velocity faced A-Bomb, with both arms crossed, "You trump over me with strength and durability but you're slower and less agile, while for me, I'm faster, my reactions are quicker and I have many ways to take you down with my super speed." Black Velocity tells A-Bomb, trying to intimidate him.
A-Bomb narrowed his eyes, "Yeah, but I've got a trick that'll be enough to take you down first." He retorted back at Black Velocity,
Black Velocity then charges at A-Bomb, at full speed, but A-Bomb stood still, and before Black Velocity could reach him, suddenly, A-Bomb disappears out of sight, before Black Velocity's eyes.
Black Velocity quickly stops, and he looks around for, completely confused on what just happened, "What the..?" He said, not knowing what just happened to A-Bomb,
But then, suddenly, Black Velocity gets punched in the face, only there wasn't a fist in sight, Black Velocity then held his fists up, ready as he scanned around himself, but then Black Velocity gets punched in the stomach, getting the wind knocked out of him, and then gets another punch across his face, which pushes him a few feet, as his feet were dragged across the floor, he recovers his balance.
"You may have me beat in speed and reflexes, but those aren't gonna be much help if you can't see where your target is." The sound of A-Bomb's voice was heard from out of nowhere.
Black Velocity kept looking but couldn't find A-Bomb,
"You see, I've got this extra ability that lets me blend into my surroundings like a chameleon, haven't had a chance to use much, but now seems like a good time." A-Bomb explained, still being camouflaged,
(A/N: It took this long to finally showcase that power, never found a scene where it could be used, but better late than never)
But then, Black Velocity was barraged by un-seeable punches from A-Bomb, getting pushed back.
Meanwhile, Ninja was still fighting Red X, as he swings the Ataru at him, but leans backwards, dodging the blade, as Ninja spins around and then lifted the Ataru over his head and swings it down, but Red X leans back and performs a back hand stand and flips back away from Ninja, as the blade slashes into the floor, Red X lands on his feet, but then Ninja drives the blade deeper and leaps up, pole vaulting with the Ataru and launches himself up, as he lets go of the sword and goes over Red X's head, landing behind him, and then jumps and swings his right leg at Red X, but he quickly blocks it with his right forearm, while his back was facing Ninja, then as Ninja's drops to the floor, he quickly threw his left fist at him, but Red X tilted his head to the right, and dodges it, he then crouches down and turned his body to face Ninja, where he delivers a powerful tackle to Ninja's stomach, knocking him back a few feet.
Ninja looked up at Red X, narrowing his eyes and reached both hands into his sash and takes out his twin sais, holding them in both hands, and then charges at Red X, who just stood his ground, Ninja then throws his right sai at Red X, but he moves his upper body back, dodging it, Ninja then throws his left sai, but Red X moves back, dodging again, Ninja then spins his right sai around and held the butt of it and threw a punch at him, but Red X blocks it with his left palm, which pushes Ninja back, causing him to lose his balance, and then Red X quickly spins his body around and delivers a powerful spinning left kick, hitting Ninja square in the face, knocking him off his feet and spun him around, falling to the floor.
Ninja then gets back, with a look of pain and he was also starting to get tried, he turns to face Red X, who just stood there.
"Was that all you had?" He asked Ninja,
Ninja then got angry, "RAH!" He yelled out, charging at Red X, throwing both his sais aside, (A/N: Mah-hah!)
But as Ninja threw a left punch, Red X uses his teleportation device, disappearing just as Ninja's fist reaches him, Ninja's eyes widen in shock, as Red X teleports behind Ninja, he quickly knew he was behind him, and Ninja quickly spins and swings his right fist at him, but Red X teleports behind him again, but he had his X knife in his left hand, which he swings and slashes Ninja's right thigh, cutting through his suit and cuts skin.
"Gah!" Ninja yelled out in pain, as he knees down a bit due to the cut to his leg,
Ninja gets back up and swings his left arm at Red X, but he teleports again and reappears at Ninja's right side and slashes his right bicep, Ninja then swings his left foot to kick him, but Red X teleports once again and appears behind Ninja and slashes his back, then, now teleporting with great speed, going faster than Ninja could react, Red X was teleporting all around Ninja, delivers slashes to nearly every corner of his body.
Until finally Red X stops and reappeared in front of Ninja, standing with his arms crossed, while Ninja was covered with slash marks, as some cuts had blood spilling from them, as Ninja had a look of pain in his eyes.
Red X raised his right eyebrow, as he was amazed that Ninja was still standing, even after that. "You really don't give up, do you?" He asked,
Ninja narrows his eyes, as he straightens himself up, ignoring the pain, as he rises up both fists, readied to keep fighting.
Red X sighed, as he admired Ninja's determination, he was now bored, he then teleports again, Ninja's eyes widen, as Red X reappears behind him, Ninja quickly reacted and turns around, but Red X grabs Ninja by his throat with his right hand and lifts his feet off the ground, where he then tosses and smashes Ninja into the ground, cracking it.
NInja had his left eye open, while Red X stared him, "You're will to fight is respectable but your actual performance is just pathetic." He told Ninja, as he was now bored of their fight.
Ninja got angry, narrowing his eye at him, "Say what you want, but I am way more powerful than you are." He retorted back, with his hands on Red X's hand, trying to break his hold on his neck.
Red X then leans in closer to Ninja, heading toward Ninja's right ear, "After witnessing that little move you did with your leg back in Manila, for a moment I believed that you were stronger than me, but seeing your level of skill now, I'm have nothing but delight of seeing that I'm still the greater fighter..." Red X tells Ninja with great detail,
As he pulls his head back and looked at Ninja right in the eye, "You can train every day for forty year and you still wouldn't even reach half of my level..."He finished, as he lifts up his left hand and deploys his X knife, prepared to deliver the finishing blow.
But then, from behind, a wrench comes in and hits Red X's knife out of his hand, he turned and sees the engineer, who Red X and Black Velocity forced to build that device they wanted, as he held the wrench in his right hand, and had a brave look on his face.
Red X quickly lets go of Ninja's neck and gets up and spins his body, swings his right leg and delivers a kick that knocks the wrench out of the engineer's hand, causing him to step back, Ninja quickly reacts and swings his right hand and grabs Red X by the chest, to which he quickly turned his head to look at Ninja's hand, as he quickly teleports, with Ninja along with him.
High in the air, Red X and Ninja reappears and then two falls to the ground, as they grapple with each other, before Red X and Ninja teleports again, just before they hit the ground, they then reappear near the ground, where Red X delivers a powerful right punch, sending Ninja back a few feet, but he manages to recover mid-air and lands on his feet.
Red X lands and then turned to see Black Velocity, who was still getting pumbled by the still cloaked A-Bomb, and was still delivering blow and blow of unseeable punches to Black Velocity.
Until A-Bomb becomes visible again, holding up his right fist and delivers an extremely more powerful punch to Black Velocity's face, that cracks his helmet's visor, sending him flying across the room, and tumbles on the ground before stopping, laying on his front.
Red X then teleports and reappears next to Black Velocity, quickly helping him back up, putting his left arm around his shoulders, as Red X turned to look at A-Bomb and Ninja.
Red X then turned to look at Black Velocity, as the crack in his helmet had a indie view of his right eye, as it was closed, with his partner down, he saw no more reason to fight Ninja and A-Bomb, especially when they already now have what they wanted.
"We'll have to finish this some other time, and I only hope for you, Ninja..." Red X said, as he turned to him, "... Is that you at least try and make our next fight a little bit more entertaining (!)" He mocked, which angered Ninja,
As Red X and Black Velocity teleports away, escaping, leaving Ninja and A-Bomb there, with Ninja's fists clenched in fury,
And then, the engineer that saved Ninja from Red X, walked over to the two teen heroes, Ninja turned to the man, immediately calming down, and he had a look of appreciation in his eyes.
"You just saved my life... Thank you..." Ninja thanked the engineer,
The engineer smiled as he just threw his right hand, "You saved Mein life first, so we're even," He tells him, with a German accent
A-Bomb looked at the engineer with a look of concern, "That was really dangerous; you didn't need to do that." He tells him, as Red X could have hurt him,
But the engineer turned to look at A-Bomb, "You two risked your lives to save me and everyone here, I believe that it was only necessary to return the favor." He said to them, still smiling, not regretting the risk he took.
Ninja had appreciation in his eyes, "Well, again, I appreciate it, thanks." He said,
The engineer smiled at Ninja, until he looked ahead, behind Ninja, and saw something that made him lose his smile, "Look out!" He yelled, as he quickly pushes Ninja out of the way.
And then, a beam of energy flies in and hits the engineer in his stomach, that sent him flying,
In Ninja's eyes, every slowed down, eyes widened as he watched in horror, as in his mind, the engineer changed into Howard, his best friend,
"NOOOOO! HOWARD!" Ninja yelled out, as the image of Howard changes back to the engineer, as time around him goes back to normal.
The engineer flies across the room, and smashes into the wall, cracking the wall,
Ninja and A-Bomb both looked shocked and horrified, before turning to where the beam was fired, and saw, now back on his feet, was Felix, with his right fist aimed at them.
Ninja then felt rage, "NO!" He yelled out, as he goes Ninja Rage Mode, as his right leg is encased in burning rocks, as Ninja actives Dragon's Leg.
Ninja then leaps with great speed, leaving behind an after image, going towards Felix, before he could react, Felix was delivered a thunderous kick to his midriff by Ninja's Dragon's leg, knocking him off his feet, and sends Felix flying and smashing clean through the wall.
Smashing through into the other room, Felix tumbled across the floor, with his armor being heavily damaged, as he laid there, on his back,
While the rest of S.P.D. and The Syndicate were still fighting each other, until Harley turned and saw Felix, laying there,
Harley gasped in shock, as she quickly ran over to Felix, getting on her knees and carefully pulls his upper body up, looking really worried,
"Felix..!" Harley said to her boyfriend, worryingly,
Until, on Killer Frost, Toad, Ivy, Croc and Garnet earpieces all got calls,
'Everyone, return back to base,' The sound of Mistral's voice was heard, giving them orders to fall back.
Then, the ceiling gets blown up, as the dust cleared, revealing a large ship flying over the building, as turrets on its underbelly quickly began firing at each member of S.P.D., keeping them back, while the underbelly deploys cables, where each member of The Syndicate quickly grabs each individual pieces of cables, while a large carrier platform drops with cables on each corner, where Cinderblock gets on it, with Harley quickly carrying Felix over her shoulders to the platform and gently lies him down.
Giganta shrinks down to normal size and grabs hold of a piece of cable, while Garnet spreads her wings and flies off the ground, then all the cables began to pull up everyone, until Killer Croc reaches his right hand into his jacket and takes out a device in which he tosses it at the ground, as it hits the ground, it blows up, creating a huge blinding flash.
When the flash dies down, every member of S.P.D. had their eyes covered from the flash, as they open their eyes, they saw that The Syndicate and the large ship was gone.
Blue Beetle and Julie quickly flies up to hole in the roof and looks around to find the ship, but it and The Syndicate were long gone.
Metabee had an annoyed look in his eyes, "I hate it when they get away!" He said, frustrated on The Syndicate getting away again.
As Julie and Blue Beetle lowers themselves down to the floor, White Tiger and Kaikaina turned to look at each other, before turning to next room.
Metabee, Kaikaina, Aquagirl, White Tiger and Julie all ran into the room, they all looked ahead and looked shocked, as they see A-Bomb and Ninja, kneeling on the floor, tending to the injured engineer.
Hours later, now in deep space, within Taskmaster's warship,
In the main deck, Red X hands Taskmaster the device,
"Excellent work as always, Red X," Taskmaster said to him, observing the device in his hand,
Red X crossed his arms, "All too easy, to be honest, the mission was dull." He said, with a bored tone of voice,
Taskmaster then places the device on his belt, "Entertaining or not, that's your problem, the mission was a success, and when the gateway is complete, we'll be one step closer to our victory." He explained, as he turned his back from Red X,
But Red X have an annoyed look in his eyes, "Last time I check, it was your victory, and you've still have yet to make good on my end!" He tells Taskmaster, with anger and frustration in his voice.
Taskmaster turns his head to the right to look over his shoulder at Red X, "I am a man of my word, but you're debt isn't completed yet." He tells him, as he turned his back forward.
Red X got more angered by this, "I did everything you ordered me to do, and not once have I ever complained! I've earned that of what you have promised!" He ranted at Taskmaster, stepping closer to him,
But Taskmaster didn't respond, keeping his back turned, facing Red X, as if he wasn't listening.
"You'll be alerted on your next mission, dismissed." Taskmaster said to him, as he wasn't going to engage in Red X's tirade, he will honor the deal he made with Red X, but he will decide when the deal has been complete.
Red X had total fury in his eyes, and he then turned and walked out of the bridge, without saying another word, as he exits the bridge and the door closes behind him.
'RAAHHHH!' The sound of Red X's roar was heard and a loud smashing sound, like the sound of a fist punching a steel wall with the speed of a bullet train and the durability of a tank.
Taskmaster continued standing there, as he then reaches his left hand to his belt and takes out the device and stared at it. "Almost there..." He said to himself quietly.
Now in the hallways, Red X was walking down it, still having that look of anger in his eyes, as he walked, Black Velocity, whose helmet was fixed, and he sees at Red X.
"Whoa, you look you're about to tear a building down with your teeth (!)" Black Velocity joked, as Red X walked passed him,
Red X then stopped and immediately turned around to face Black Velocity, "Taskmaster was supposed to close our deal but he's making me do more until he decides to close it! So I'm not in the mood for jokes, V!" He ranted at Black Velocity, scowling at him.
Black Velocity then held up both his hands, "Alright, alright, I get it, Tasky made some additions to your deal, and your beyond steamed, I get it, X." He said,
Red X narrows his eyes, as he turned away from Black Velocity and continued walking.
Black Velocity watched his partner walk away, but then, all of a sudden, he felt a headache and he almost loses his balance, putting his right hand on his head, while putting his left hand on the wall, to keep him from falling, Black Velocity removes his hand from his head, confused on what that was all about.
Back on Earth, the Triskelion's Island, inside the building, in the meeting room,
A-Bomb, Randy, Ava, Metabee, Julie and Kaikaina were all sitting around the table, all of them had a look of grief and defeat, as they just received word from Dr. Grey that the engineer that help Randy.
Then, entering the room was Wash and Centorea, and Wash didn't look happy,
"Mr. Walter Schwarz; age 37, married with two children, took an energy blast that severed his spine, paralyzed from the waist down." Washington listed down the information of the engineer.
The whole team looked grief-stricken on that good man has been robbed of his ability to walk and will force to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
A-Bomb lifted up his head, with a serious look on his face, as he stands up, looking at Wash, "I take full responsibility; I failed to notice Felix." He said,
But Randy quickly stood up, looking at A-Bomb with a look of frustration, "No, that blast was meant for me, if he didn't push me, then..." He said, wanting to take the blame for this.
"I hate what happened, someone getting caught in the middle of your fight, but I assure to you all that Mr. Schwarz and his family will be given full compensation from S.H.I.E.L.D." Centorea tells A-Bomb and Randy, with a gentle look on her face, hoping it will give the team a sense of peace that Walter and his family will be taken care of.
Randy and A-Bomb then sat back down, with Randy still having that dour frown on his face. "It's the least we can do..." He said quietly, still blaming himself for what happened to Walter.
Ava turned to look at Julie, Metabee and Kaikaina, "The important thing is that we stopped The Syndicate from getting the hadron collider, so hopefully we delayed Taskmaster's plan." Ava said to them, reminding them that their mission was a success.
Metabee and Julie turned to nod at each other in agreement, regardless of what happened, they stopped The Syndicate,
Kaikaina turned to look at Ava, with a plain expression on her face. "So the case goes, the heroes stop the bad guys..." She said,
"Hardly..." The sound of Washington's voice was heard, in a blunt tone of voice.
Then Randy's eyes widen in shock, as he turned to look at Wash, "Excuse me?" He said, as he stands up from his seat, while everyone turned to look at Wash.
Metabee pulls himself up and stand on the table, walking across the table, with his eyes narrowed at Wash, "You got something to say, Wash?" He said to him,
Wash turned to look at Metabee, "Yes, I do, because I feel that I always need to keep reminding all of you that we are at war, and you just spend more time goofing around, aside from Cunningham, you all blew off a whole day of training to go to a football game!" Washington started ranting,
Ava had a look of offence on her face, "We understand the total gravity of the situation and have committed to stopping Taskmaster and The Syndicate." She tells Wash,
"Yeah, and like you weren't there!" Kaikaina added, crossing her arms,
"I have been there! My job is to make sure that this team stays focus on the task at hand, but you think that I'm nothing more than a glorified babysitter, and you've ignored my orders since day one!" Wash argued back, uncrossing his arms,
"And who said we needed you!? We've been doing just fine before you showed up!" Metabee retorted back, pointed his right index finger at Wash,
"Please, before I came along, you've done nothing but throw second rate criminals in jail while none of you could see Taskmaster amassing an army in shadows, each of you think that you're some kind of hero, but you're not! None of you are, you're all just think that just cause you have powers, it make you think that the world revolves around you." Wash ranted, "I'm amazed that all of you had made it this far..."
Julie quickly stands up, scowling at Wash, "We stopped The Syndicate! Isn't that good enough!?" She asked, as she doesn't know what Washington wants from them.
Wash then clenches his fists tightly in outrage "Stop them?! Taskmaster and The Syndicate always manage to get away and staying one step ahead while you're five steps behind, it was only a matter of time before an innocent gets caught in the crossfire!" Wash then moves closer to face Julie, in a now more fearsome tone of voice, "Is that good enough?! IS IT?!"
Julie's eyes widen, before A-Bomb angrily stands up, glaring furiously at Wash.
"Back off, Wash! I'm not gonna let you treat my team is!" A-Bomb yelled at Wash,
"Whatever Taskmaster is planning to where that portal opens up to, I have a horrible feeling in my gut saying that something extremely dangerous is going to come out of it and it'll hurt or worse, kill countless beings! So when are you rookies gonna open your eyes, knuckle down and REALISE THAT THIS ISN'T A GAME!" Washington yelled out, in fury,
Silence now enters the room, as Wash was pacing from that rant, while Randy, Metabee, Kaikaina, Ava, Julie and A-Bomb all remained silent, each of them glaring at Washington, before Wash then turned away from them and walks to the door, leaving the room with nothing left to say.
The team and Centorea all just stayed silent, processing the amount of emotions that were thrown out just now, the whole team was infuriated by Washington, he only sees the team to be nothing but flawed, inexperienced kids who he thinks can't beat Taskmaster.
But Randy and A-Bomb took it most to heart, since the two of them were in the room with Walter and they could have stopped what happened to him.
Unknown to the team, outside the room, was Flash, who had his back leaned on the wall, as he listens to the whole conversation.
A few hours later, it was now night, and at the SHED,
Kaikaina was in her room, in her pajamas, polishing her assault rifle with a somber look on her face.
In Ava's room, she was sitting at her desk, with her haired tied into a bun, in her pajamas, as she was on her laptop, going through the S.H.I.E.L.D. information database to try and find something about the failed project.
Outside, Metabee was inside the Quinjet, doing some maintains on it, while have a look of seriousness.
A-Bomb was in his room, sitting on his bed, with a depressed look on his face, as he felt the gravity of what Wash said.
The team had so many chances to stop Taskmaster and The Syndicate but every time, they get away.
What they do, does it have any real meaning?
Then, a knock came from A-Bomb's door, getting his attention,
"It's open," A-Bomb called out, as the door opens, revealing Julie, who was in her pajamas, and had her hair down.
"You OK?" Julie asked A-Bomb, with a look of concern, entering his room, and walking over to his bed.
A-Bomb had a grim look, "(Sigh) No... I hate what happened to Mr. Schwarz, me and Randy were right next to him... I don't like it when people get hurt on my watch..." He tells him sadly,
"I know that the guilt hurts so much, but all you can do is look ahead, learn from it and make sure that this doesn't happen again." Julie said to A-Bomb trying to reassure him,
A-Bomb looked at Julie, "Do you think we're making an differences?" He asked, with a look of hopelessness in his eyes.
Julie looked surprised and confused on what he was asking, "What are you talking about?" She asked A-Bomb,
"What Wash said, we've been doing this for a year and aside from Mandarin, every villain we've gone up against seems so small time compared to Taskmaster, he has an army and fleet of warships and is building portal that will release who knows what and all we've done is slow down the process, not stop it completely." A-Bomb explained, listing it down,
Julie had a look of worry on her face, as she didn't like where A-Bomb was going with this.
"We had a golden opportunity to nail Taskmaster at the oil rig but he got away with the portal and The Syndicate, and because it, a man is going to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair..." A-Bomb continued, frowning with despair, their mission wasn't a victory, it was a tragedy and it was his fault.
Julie looked at A-Bomb with sympathy on her face, as she sat down next to A-Bomb, and reaches both her hands to A-Bomb's face, touching both sides of his face, to A-Bomb surprise, as Julie pulls A-Bomb closer to her, as she rests his head on her left shoulder, rubbing his head, A-Bomb stayed silent, as his face was blushing.
Julie kept silent as well, with her face blushes too, not know what she was doing, her body just started moving on its own, but she retained a calm looking expression and had her eyes closed, as she continued gently rubbing A-Bomb's head, pulling him so closer to her.
Inside the Triskelion building,
In the training room, Randy was doing some training with the Ataru, as he was shirtless and pacing.
He slashes and destroys the final training bot, with it destroyed, Randy lows his ōdachi as he paces so heavily, as after what Wash said, Randy went straight into the training room to blow off steam.
Then T-AI appears, as the hologram looked at the heavily breathing Randy with a look of worry,
"What was my time?" Randy asked T-AI, as he had her time him.
"8 minutes and 19 seconds," T-AI tells Randy how it took him to destroy all of the training bots.
Randy was frustrated by this, "Run it again!" He told T-AI, wanting to start the program again, as each time he finished the training program, he finished it in 8 minutes, and he was determined to shave off a lot more minutes off.
T-AI looked at Randy with serious look, "Randy, I do not advise you continue, you've been at this for hours and you haven't stopped to rest for even a minute." She tells Randy, as she worried that Randy's pushing himself to hard.
Randy turned to look at T-AI, "T-AI, I don't want to hear it, run it again!" He told her, demanding her to start the program again.
T-AI sighs as she reluctantly actives the training program, and then more training bots were deployed, as Randy narrowed his eyes and held up the Ataru, readying himself.
Unknown to Randy, in the observation deck, watching Randy train, was Ninjor, who had his arms crossed, seeing his disciple train, but he sees that Randy's drive to get stronger is slowly turning from a sense of honour to a dangerous obsession...
(Author Notes - I'VE BEEN SO SWAMPED! I don't know how long ago I started this episode, I been busy with so much, sorting my bank, getting someone to fix a water leak in my house, having my kitchen floor retiled, but I've already told all of this before, and a lot of you were really supportive and patient, which I am greatly appreciative for it, I'll start getting to work for the next episode)
