It was the afternoon in Jump City, and in the bay, Aquagirl was under the water, swimming as fast as a torpedo, and blasts out of the air, with bright happy smile on her face, as she lands back into the water.
Standing at the docks, watching Aquagirl was Metabee, who had his arms crossed with an amused look in his eyes, as he sees Aquagirl swimming towards the dock and blasts out of the water, performing a mid-air flip and landing on her feet perfectly.
"Always needing to be the show-off (!)" Metabee joked, as he walks up to Aquagirl, who turned to look at Metabee, with a smile.
"I always give 100% when I'm in the water." Aquagirl tells Metabee, as she wrings her hair a bit,
The two started walking, Metabee hands Aquagirl's wrist communicator to her, she takes it and puts it on her left wrist.
"Dr. Grey called on you watch, she said there was something at the base you'd like to see." Metabee tells Aquagirl, looking up at her.
Aquagirl looked surprised, there was something at the base for her, she was curious on what it was,
But her face then deflates to a worried look when the fact that Dr. Gray was the one who called her, she was scared that it was a excuse for her to strap Aquagirl onto a table and Dr. Grey performing 'Inner' studying of her atlantean biology.
Somewhere in the deep slums of downtown Jump City, quickly walking through an alley, was a little girl, wearing a hoodle over her head, she stops at the end of the alley and turned her head to look over her left shoulder, with a scared expression on her face, to see if she was being followed.
Now at the Triskelion Island, in the building, Metabee and Tula were walking to the med-bay,
The door opens and the two enters and the two of them sees, in the middle of the room, was a familiar looking robot, a purple robot, perhaps three feet tall, had no arms but had legs and a big head, and the eyes were squared.
It was Cerebrix, Tula's friend from Atlantis,
Tula had a bright smile, as she gasped, "Cerebrix!" She yelled out in excitement, as she ran over to him, got down on her knees and gives Cerebrix a hug,
Metabee walked up to them, with a happy look in his eyes, "We haven't seen you in a while, whaddya doin' here?" Metabee asked Cerebrix, as he has seen him since they beat Man Ray.
Cerebix turned to look at Metabee, "I was working under at the Atlantis science and technology division, Queen Atlanna thought that it would be a good idea for me to come to the surface and assist S.H.I.E.L.D. and all of you in your fight against Taskmaster." Cerebix explained,
"Well, I'm happy to have you join the team, Cerebix," Tula tells him, happy to have her old friend here and will be working with them, as she lets go of him and gets back up on her feet.
Metabee crossed his arms, "But, no offence, we've already got two geniuses workin' for us." He tells Cerebix, since they have Blukic and Driba to do all the science and engineering stuff.
Then, on the ground, a bug was crawling across the floor, passed Metabee's feet, as he, Tula and Cerebix notice it, crawling around, until, from above, a long frog tongue comes in and grabs the bug, the tongue gets pulled back into a mouth with the bug struck on it, the tongue reveals to belong to Blukic, as he and Driba were doing a maintenance check on one of the med-bay's equipment.
Blukic chews on the bug, while Driba looks annoyed at him,
"Aw, no fair! I saw it first!" Driba said to Blukic, as he wanted to eat that bug,
Blukic kept chewing the bug, as he turned to Driba, chortle a bit, "Ya snooze, ya lose!" Blukic teased Driba, which annoyed him further, while Blukic kept chewing, "Mm, metallic, my favorite flavor." Blukic said, as the bug was strangely part insect and part metal.
Blukic then felt something in his mouth and puts his right hand in his mouth and pulls out a small metal appendage, Blukic had a smile on his face. "Hey look, a prize!" He said, excited, thinking the appendage was a prize.
Driba frown at Blukic, "Mmm, you lucky so-and-so!" He said to Blukic, annoyed that he got that bug before he could and now he has what thinks is a prize.
Metabee and Tula both had sweat drops appear on both heads, seeing Blukic and Driba being themselves, maybe an extra brain might be a good thing.
"It's gonna be great having you on the team, Cerebix." Tula tells Cerebix, happy that he was going to stay, as she stands up.
Cerebix looked up at Tula, "So what do we do now?" He asked, wondering, as he focused on getting accepted onto the team, but he was curious on what to do now.
Metabee walks up and pats the back of Cerebix's head, getting his attention as he turned to look at the Medabot, who had a glad look in his eyes.
"How about I give ya a tour around Jump City tomorrow, show you the sights." Metabee offered Cerebix,
Cerebix closed his eyes, as he liked that idea, "I would greatly enjoy that, Metabee." He accepted his offer.
"Hey, it just nice to have another robot on the team," Metabee tells Cerebix, as he finds it nice to have another robot on their side.
"Well, I have school tomorrow so you'll have to go on without me." Tula tells them,
"Hey, guys!" The sound of Jaime entered the room, as Metabee, Tula and Cerebix turned to see him standing at the doorway, looking around the med-bay, "Have any of you seen a little cyborg bug around here? I wired a tiny camera on it for espionage missions but the little guy snuck away." Jaime asked them if they've seen it.
But Tula and Metabee both when Blank White Eyes, and had awkward looks, as the little spy bug that Jaime was talking about was the same little bug that just became a shack for Blukic, and neither of them had the heart to tell him.
A few hours later, it was now night,
Somewhere in Jump City, standing on top of a building, watching staring out at the city, was Red X and Black Velocity,
Black Velocity was sitting on the edge of the roof while Red X was standing with his arms crossed.
"I didn't think you wanted to take some time off, but why did you wanna come here?" Black Velocity said to Red X, confused on why Red X would want to come to Jump City, knowing that S.P.D. and S.H.I.E.L.D. was here.
"I just needed to get some distance from Taskmaster, the better." Red X tells Black Velocity, with an tone that have venom in it, as he was still furious that Taskmaster withheld his end of their deal.
Black Velocity turned and looked up at Red X, "What Taskmaster said must've really got to you, huh, X?" Black Velocity asked Red X, taking a guess.
"I'm wasting all my talents on his pointless crusade, I've done everything he wanted and he's still keeping me on a short leash!" Red X said, uncrossing his arms and clenches his fists in anger.
"What was the deal? What does Tasky have that you want?" Black Velocity asked his partner, wondering what Taskmaster offered to give Red X.
Red X narrowed his eyes, as he turned around, facing away and began to walk off, leaving Black Velocity, he could take the hint that he doesn't want to talk about it.
The next day, driving through upper Jump City, driving the Hydraulix Jamma was Metabee, while Cerebix was sitting in the passenger seat and Tula was sitting in the back seat, as Metabee was showing Cerebix the town.
Cerebix was looking through the window, seeing the sights and building,
"So busy, much energetic than back at Atlantis," Cerebix mentioned to Tula, observing the street and seeing the people, as Tula nodded in agreement,
Metabee had a relaxed look in his eyes, as he drove, "That's what you see from a bustling capital city like Jump City." He tells him,
Cerebix turned to look at Tula, "I can see why you was so eager to come with team S.P.D. to the surface." He said,
Tula smiled, as she turned to look through the window, "The surface is pretty imperfect, but there is a curtain quality that I find so fascinating." She tells him,
Metabee takes a quick look at Cerebix, before looking back the road, "I've seen you're model type around, how did you end up at the bottom of the ocean?" He asked Cerebix, wondering how a robot that's manufactured on the surface ended up in Atlantis.
"I was aboard a cargo freight that travelled across the Atlantic Ocean, I was a part of the cargo crew as the organization staff for the ship's storage, unfortunately there was a terrible storm that sank the ship," Cerebix explained his past,
"That when I found and saved him, Queen Atlanna was hesitant on letting Cerebix stay with me, since her was from the surface, but he worked hard to earn Queen Atlanna's trust and a place in Atlantis." Tula continued explaining to Metabee,
"Hm, never heard of a robot putting in extra effort for royalty?" Metabee said to him, as he stops the car, when it reaches a red light.
Cerebix turned back to look at Metabee, "I was in a new environment and had to work to gain acceptance, I didn't only do it for the trust of Queen Atlanna, I sought to make a home for myself, though I was an outsider in a unique new world, I was soon treated as an equal." Cerebix finished explained,
Metabee turned to look at Tula "You must think highly of him, don't ya?" Metabee mentioned,
"I was six years old when I found Cerebix, my parents are elite soldiers for the Atlantean army, at first, they weren't onboard with it, but they let him in as part of their family." Tula tells him,
Metabee then turned to look through the side window and sees, from afar, running down the street, it was the little girl wearing the hoodie, as she was being chased by three thugs, as she turns into an alley.
Metabee's eyes widen shocked at seeing that that kid was in trouble,
Now in the alley, the girl was running as fast as she could, away from the thugs, until she trips and falls to the ground, she pushes herself up and looks over her shoulder and sees the thugs closing in on her, as she looked scared.
Before they could get any closer,
"Hey!" The sound of Metabee's voice was heard, getting the attention of the thugs as they turn around and sees Metabee and Tula, who was standing in-front of them, both of them having serious looks.
"I can't suggest strongly enough for you to turn around, walk away and leave the girl alone." Tula warns one of the thugs, in a serious tone.
But they weren't intimidated by him, "This doesn't concern either of you, so get outta here, or else..." He threaten them,
But Metabee was unfazed by his threat, "Or else THIS!" Metabee retorted back, as he leaps up, high in the air, going over the thugs and landing in-front of the girl, as Metabee stood ready to fight.
Cerebix quickly comes in and helps the girl back up on her feet, and moves her to the side, away from the fight.
One of the thugs throws a left punch at Metabee, but threw his left fist and both fists collides with each other, but Metabee's fist breaks the thug's fist, due to it being made of metal.
"GAAAHH!" The thug yelled out in pain, as he held his broken hand,
And then, Metabee leaps up and delivers and powerful left knee to his jaw, knocking him off his feet and to the ground, hitting it hardly, laying on his back, while Metabee lands on his feet on the the thug's chest.
Another thug grabs a broken pipe from off the ground and swings it at Tula, but she jumps up, dodging the pipe and it ends up smacking the other thug right in the chest, causing total pain, as he clenches his hurt chest, Tula goes over the other two thugs and lands next to a couple of trashcans, where she grabs two trashcan lids in each hand and performs and spin and tosses them at the thugs, as they flew like frisbees, hitting both thugs in their stomachs, knocking the wind out of both of them and off the feet.
The first thug gets back up on his feet, looking angry, as he reaches his left hand into his back pocket and takes out a gun, and quickly aims it at Metabee, but before he could shoot, Metabee reacted and fires his right gauntlet, shooting the gun out of his hand, Metabee then ran towards the thug and grappled his right leg and hurls him back down to the ground, smashing his head into it, knocking him out.
Tula stands up straight and sees the two other thugs, getting back up, Tula then charges at the two, getting in-between them and jumping up, tucking in both her right arm and left leg, and when she was at their face level and delivers a powerful punch to one and a kick to the other, knocking both thugs off their feet and to the ground, knocking them both out cold.
Tula lands on his feet and turned to the side as Metabee run up to her, the two of them sees Cerebix comes out from behind some trashcans, with the girl, as the two of them walks over to Metabee and Tula,
Tula looked at the girl, "Are you OK?"She asked her,
The girl had a timid look on her face, "I'm alright, thank you for saving me." She gave her thanks to them,
Metabee just shrugged his shoulders, "Hey, don't mention it," He said, with a smug look in his eyes,
"Well, goodbye," The girl bid farewell to Metabee, Tula and Cerebix, as she turned around and began to walk away,
Metabee and Tula looked confused, as Metabee quickly walks up to her, catching up to her, and stops her,
"Hey, I don't need thanks, but I'd kinda like to know who those guys are and why they were after you?" Metabee asked the girl, wishing to know why those guys were chasing her.
The girl looks at Metabee, with hesitant on wither or not to trust him, Tula and Cerebix, as she removes her hood, as she had long blond hair, green eyes, she was Caucasian and her appearance, she looked to be 11.
"Can I trust you?" She asked, with a caution in her voice,
Cerebix walks in with Metabee, "Of course, Tula, Metabee and I are to be trusted; you have nothing to worry about." Cerebix tells the girl,
The girl stares at the two robots and Atlantean for a moment, before putting a confidence on her face, as she needs someone to help her.
"I need help, I'm being hunted," She tells them,
"We kinda already got the gist of it, how about givin' us your name." Metabee tells the girl, as they can form a trust with her when she tells them her name.
The girl then gives them a serious look, "I am Queen Perdita, ruler of Vlatava." She introduced herself to them,
Metabee and Tula's eyes widen in shock, "Queen?!" Tula said, shocked and confused that this 11 year old is a queen.
"I've heard of you, Vlatava, an Eastern European country, a year ago the king of Vlatava passed on, leaving the throne to his daughter, Princess Perdita, you were the youngest crowned ruler in your country's history." Cerebix said to Perdita, restated the information of Perdita,
Metabee quickly turned to look at Cerebix, still looking shocked, "Wait, you mean she's actually legit?!" He said, more shocked that Perdita, an 11 year old, is really a queen of a whole country.
"You came to America two weeks ago, on a trip of important diplomatic relations as you and the ambassador of Transia were planning to sign a treaty of alignment with both countries, but there was a attack on the UN building, the ambassador of Transia was unharmed but you disappeared during the commotion, you're country's government is in great distress, desperately trying to find you." Cerebix said, as he looks up recent news relating to Perdita.
"I'm in hiding because I'm being hunted by a small private militia, the attack was to capture me but I managed to get away." Perdita explained to them,
"Why didn't you head back to your government? Isn't keeping you safe their top job priority?" Tula asked Perdita, as the more logical decision would be retreating to the security of her government, why would she just go ghost from everyone for two weeks?
"My source have informed me that there is a spy with my government who orchestrated the attack on the UN, I had to go into hiding to try to find who it may be." Perdita tells them,
"If you were in trouble, why didn't you call S.H.I.E.L.D. for help, they would have protected you and weeded out the spy for ya?" Metabee mentioned, as S.H.I.E.L.D. would have provide the best protection for a queen.
"Vlatava's government doesn't trust S.H.I.E.L.D., viewing them as a bit of a bully, I'm hesitant on trusting them." Perdita explained to them,
"Alright, I'm not gonna lie that S.H.I.E.L.D. can sometimes act like the toughest kid in the playground, but they're the good guys, if you're in danger, they would have helped you." Metabee said to Perdita,
Then one of the thugs stirred a bit, getting Metabee, Perdita, Tula and Cerebix's attention, as the four of them turned to see the thug,
Perdita had a concerned look, as she turned to look at the Atlantean and the two robots, "It's not safe here, I need to get out of the country." She said to them,
Metabee,Tula and Cerebix turned to look at each other, unsure about this kid not wanting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s help in a matter of grave importance, but they can't force for her to come to the Triskelion but they can help Perdita in protecting her and weeding out the spy.
"If that's the case, at least let us help you." Cerebix offered their assistance,
"You got moxy kid, I'll give you that, but you can't go it alone, we can keep you safe." Metabee added,
Perdita stared at the two, with an unsure look, but Metabee has shown to be a capable fighter, despite his small stature. "If you wish to help, then, take me to the airport, quickly and without arousing attention." Perdita asks them, as she puts her hood back on,
Metabee nodded, "Hey, don't worry, your highness, you have nothin' to fear, we'll keep ya safe." He tells Perdita, with a assuring look in his eyes.
Perdita looked at Metabee, before turning to Cerebix, as he nodded in agreement, and she then had a gentle smile on her face, greatly appreciates Tula, Metabee and Cerebix for their help.
A few hours later, it was now night, standing alone on top of a roof top, staring down at the city, was Red X, lamenting on everything going on.
He closes his eyes, in deep thought,
"Surprised that you'd come on in to my city." The sound of a familiar voice came from behind Red X, as he quickly turns around, holding a X shuriken in his right hand, ready to throw it.
As the person was White Tiger, standing before Red X, with an unemotional look in her eyes, as she had her arms crossed, "I'm not here to fight, I just want to talk." She tells Red X,
Red X narrowed his eyes at her, "How did you find me?" He asked, demanding to know,
"I tracked the Xenothium traces your suit was emitting; I would have thought that you'd have a device that hides residual traces of it." White Tiger tells him, uncrossing her arms,
"I do, I guess I forgot to turn it on." Red X admitted, being careless.
"I'm surprised that you would be one to admit your mistake, I would have thought that turning it on would be common sense, you've gotten sloppy." White Tiger said to Red X, sounding and looking unimpressed.
Red X slowly lowered his arm and puts his shuriken into his belt, "I've had a lot on my mind lately..." He said, bluntly,
"Well, I'm gonna take a guess that Taskmaster is the only one that comes to mind." White Tiger guessed,
Red X then covers his torso with his cape, "You figure that all out on your own; did ya, Veronica Mars (?)" He said, as he turned away from Tiger and loomed back to the city.
Tiger takes a step closer to Red X, "I want information on how Taskmaster knows about a decommissioned S.H.I.E.L.D. project from years ago, and why does he want to rebuild it?" She asked, demanding to know.
Red X didn't turn to look at her at all, he kept facing the city, "What makes you think I know what Taskmaster is doing." He said,
"You're wearing a suit that was meant for Ninja, for to be Taskmaster's apprentice, his successor, but when he declined, you became his replacement, so there has to be some information Taskmaster told you about." White Tiger explained,
"You're overthinking all of it, I'm not Taskmaster's apprentice, yes, he trained me but not to be a successor, but to complete any mission he gives me, he doesn't tell me what he does, which is convenient cuz' I don't ask because I don't care what he does (!)" Red X tells Tiger, making it clear that he has no information on anything Taskmaster is doing.
White Tiger narrows her eyes, "You don't care? If you don't care, then why do it? Why be Taskmaster's attack-dog when you don't care about what he's doing or what he's building?" She asked,
Red X kept staring, "I have my reasons,"
White Tiger then got angry, "Did you know that a good man was hurt during that raid in the lab in Germany, and will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair?" She told him, telling him about Mr. Walter Schwarz and how Felix landed a bad hit on him, which ended up paralyzing him.
"That was Felix; I had nothing to do with that." Red X retorted, with an uncaring tone in his voice.
"But don't you feel anything about a man, having his ability to walk taken away from him, and the many other who've suffered from Taskmaster and his crusade?!" White Tiger ranted at him, getting angrier that Red X is showing completely no sympathy for the people that are getting hurt by their fight.
Red X turned his head to look over his right shoulder to look at Tiger, "Like I say, I do what it takes to complete my missions... No matter who gets hurts in the crossfire..." He tells her, making it clear that he doesn't care.
Tiger's eyes started to glow green with rage, as she extents her claws, wanting to take Red X down, but she had to restrain herself as this was a chance to get information, even if Red X doesn't know what Taskmaster is doing or what that portal he's building purpose, he can still have information on what their planning next.
As Tiger's eyes goes from green, but to yellow, calming herself down, retracting her claws, "Then what are your reasons for working for Taskmaster?" She asked again,
Red X turned around and looked at Tiger, "I don't have to say anything, especially not to you," He retorted at her,
Tiger lifted up her left wrist, showing her watch, as there was a button shown on the display. "Need I remind that you're in S.H.I.E.L.D. territory, when I detected your Xenothium signature, an heavy attack team was readied at the Triskelion and, is surrounded the area we're in, with just one press of a button and they'll bag and tag you before you even flinch." White Tiger threatened Red X, as she came prepared for Red X, if things when sideways, Red X is skilled, but he's not skilled enough to escape unscathed.
Red X narrowed his eyes, as he looked around and scanned the building rooftops and sees, on top of many rooftops that were surrounded the one Tiger and him were on, there were S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, heavily armed and many had sniper rifles aimed at Red X.
Red X turned to look at White Tiger, who had an amused look in her eyes,
"Did you really think I'd come unprepared? I'm insulted (!)" Tiger joked,
Red X's glare then turned to a tried look, as he sighed, "Well, considering Tasky isn't my favourite person right now, I guess I can dish a bit... But how do I know you won't attack me as soon as I give you information?" Red X asked,
Tiger narrowed her eyes, "Of course I'm going to attack you," She admits openly, "You're a criminal who stole for S.H.I.E.L.D. and an enemy to us, and you didn't think you'd just leave without a fight." She told Red X,
Red X stared at her, "Hm, well, appreciate the honesty..." He mentioned,
"So, I'll ask again, what does Taskmaster have on you?" Tiger asked Red X, wanting to know why he serves Taskmaster.
Red X turned his head to the left, with a blank expression in his eyes, hesitant for a minute, until he closes his eyes, "My memories..." He answered, revealing what Taskmaster has on him.
White Tiger's eyes widen in surprised, Red X's reason for working for Taskmaster is because he has his memories.
But then, Red X opens his eyes, with great speed, threw a X shuriken at White Tiger, which hits her watch, destroying it, before Tiger could react, Red X represses a button on his belt and charges at her. The snipers immediately opened fire at Red X, who was sidestepping while running at great speed, dodging the bullets, Tiger tears the shuriken out of her watch, as she looks ahead and sees Red X, who leaps up and perform a spinning left helicopter kick, hitting her head, and knocking her to the side.
Red X continued to run, but White Tiger quickly recovered and sprints after Red X, when Red X reaches the edge of the roof, he leaps off it, but White Tiger leaps forward and tackles him mid-air, and the two falls off the building.
Falling to the ground, White Tiger and Red X struggled and fought, until Tiger grabs hold of both Red X's wrists, as they stared each other down, as they kept falling.
"I actually appreciate the talk, I needed it," Red X told Tiger, as he tucks both his legs in and delivers and double kick to her stomach, knocking her back, and breaking free of her hold on him, "Catch ya later, Kitty (!)" Red X said, as he teleports away.
White Tiger recovers and held both her hands out and manages to grab hold of a lamppost and spins off it and lets go, performing a back flip and landing her feet on the road, safely.
Tiger looked up and lifted her left wrist close to her face, "Leader 1, scan the city for any traces of Xenothium," Tiger instructed the attack team to track Red X's Xenothium to find him before he gets away.
'We already scanned, no traces of Xenothium anywhere in the city, Tiger, he's gone.' Leader 1 said through White Tiger's watch,
White Tiger got frustrated, as Red X had active his suit's device that hides the Xenothium residual, Red X was right in-front of her, a team was ready to take him down and he still got away.
But only thing that came out of this was the fact that Red X has no memories of his past, Taskmaster knows who he is and his past and is using it to make Red X be his soldier.
All of this, Red X is doing it for find out his past, but this makes his true identity more of an enigma.
Meanwhile, driving down the road to the Jump City airport was the Hydraulix Jamma, with Metabee driving, as Perdita was in the passenger seat and while Cerebix and Tula was sitting back.
As Metabee was driving, he briefly turned his head to look at Perdita, "So, got any idea on who would want you in the ground?" He asked, hoping Perdita would give an idea on who maybe behind her assassination.
Perdita turned to look through the side-window, with a serious look, "Only one person comes to mind, my uncle, Count Vertigo, he tried to usurp the throne a year ago by trying to kill me, but he fail and is currently rotting away in prison." She explained, as she turned back to face Metabee,
"I've just gone through the prison that is holding Count Vertigo, he hasn't made any calls, nor have anyone visits, guards report that he keeps to himself he doesn't interact with the other inmates at all, the likelihood of him being behind or even a part of this assassination plot is unlikely." Cerebix explained, as he looks at the facts and comes to the conclusion that Count Vertigo isn't behind this.
"Any other names you can think of who would benefit with you being hurt?" Tula asked Perdita,
But Perdita shook her head, "No, but I believe this may have something to do with the alignment with Transia," She said, as she thinks about the motive to gain from this alignment failing.
"Why, what's there to gain if the treaty fails'?" Tula asked,
"Transia is known for its natural resources, which include coal, iron ore, timber, petroleum, salt, and natural gas, but the main resource that makes Transia infamous for its uranium mines for it in Mt. Wundagore, for many dictators and war criminals that amount of uranium could spell great danger and destruction." Cerebix explained to Tula,
"The treaty would have allowed Vlatava to clean all of the mines of the uranium, we would have happened helped Transia in more safer and renewable energy." Perdita added,
Metabee looked at Perdita for a second before turning back to the road, with a look of amazment in his eyes, "You're pretty mature about this whole thing, still find it hard to believe you're a queen to a whole country." Metabee couldn't help but mention,
Perdita had a deeply depressed look on her face, as she turned to look out the window, "The day my father passed on was the day where I was crowned the queen, my father uses to tell me about how I would one day become queen but neither one of us expected it to be so soon. I realized in that moment I had to be the queen Vlatava expected and need from, I couldn't be some child who doesn't know what she's doing, I have to be the queen that will protect and fight for my country." She explained to them with great detail,
Metabee had a look of concern, "Sounds like the whole 'Kid' Experience came to a screeching halt when you got the crown," He mentions, guessing that Perdita had to become mentally mature to be a queen,
Perdita then looked down at the floor, with a look of sadness, "When I was the princess, I was already so isolated with children my own age; I was always studying, being prepared for when I would become queen." She tells them, with a sadden tone, so much was expected of her and he spend so much of her childhood being prepared for the day she became queen.
Metabee looked at Perdita with a sympathetic look in his eyes, this kid had to give up her childhood and given so much responsibility to carry, not to mention with losing her dad at such a young age, he couldn't imagine the loneliness that comes with that sacrifice.
Metabee then turned and looks ahead and sees the airport, "Alright, we're head up to the airport." He told Perdita,
Now inside the main terminal, Metabee, Perdita, Tula and Cerebix were walking down it, as there was a lot of passengers around the area,
"OK, we got you here in one piece, so where do we go from here?" Metabee asked Perdita, wondering about what their next course of action is.
"I've called a friend of my family to meet me here to assess the situation." Perdita explained to them,
"And this person can be trusted?" Tula asked, not as sure on this course of action,
Metabee then turned to look up at Tula, "Well, right now, we're a little short on opinions, but I think that we're in the clear now." He tells her, as he had a calm look in his eyes,
But then, from out of nowhere, a bullet flies and hit Metabee in the chest, knocking him off his feet, which catches Tula, Cerebix and Perdita off-guard, looking shocked, as they turned at the shot Metabee.
With the gun shot, everyone in the terminal all ducked their heads down and ran out of the terminal as fast as possible,
Metabee pushes himself up, with a painful look in his eyes, as that bullet left a bullet hold in his torso, Perdita and Cerebix quickly moves to him and helps him up,
"Are you alright?" Tula asked Metabee with a concerned look,
"Don't worry; the benefits of being armor plated..." Metabee tells her, as he gets back on his feet,
And then, there were thugs who emerges out of the running crowd, who had guns, Metabee turns and sees them,
Metabee turned and sees the thugs heading towards them, before turning to look at Perdita with a look of urgency. "Run!" He tells Peredita, as she nodded and her and Cerebix both ran, as Metabee and Tula charges at the thugs to fight them.
Peredita and Cerebix ran up the escalator,
Tula charges at one of them and leaps up and delivers a powerful left punch, punching the thug square in the face, knocking him off his feet and to the ground, knocking him out cold, Tula lands on her feet and turns to the other thug, who was running at Metabee, aiming his gun, but Metabee quickly shoots his right gauntlet and hits the thug in the right shin.
"GAH!" The thug yelled out in pain, as he drops to left knee as he tended to his shin, but Metabee ran up to him, jumps onto the thug's knee and delivers and right knee to the chin, knocking him down to the floor.
Meanwhile, getting to the top of the escalator, Perdita and Cerebix ran and went passed the seating area, but there were two armed guards came out from behind a support pillar and aimed there guns at Perdita and Cerebix, which made them stop, being caught off guard, and quickly ran to the side to take cover behind the seats.
The thugs begins to open fire at them, as Cerebix and Perdita crouches down, with Perdita covering her ears with her hands due to the loud shots of the guns,
But, leaping over the railing, was Metabee, was he leaned his head down and fired his horn missiles at the thugs, where the missiles hits the ground near them, which explodes and sends a powerful shockwave that blew the thug off their feet and back a few feet, while the shockwave was so powerful, it shatters the windows near the seating area that led outside to the tarmac.
Metabee and Tula quickly ran to Perdita and Cerebix and Tula picks up Perdita and carrys her on her back,
"Hold on tight you highness," Tula tells her, with a serious look in her eyes, as Perdita wraps her arms around Tula's neck, and she starts running to the broken window, with Cerebix and Metabee following, and the three jumps through it and outside, where they fall and land on the ground, and Tula lets Perdita back down, and the four of them started running across the tarmac.
One of the thugs goes near the broken window,
On top of one of the airport's building, a shadowy figure was observing the tarmac,
'The kid's on the run, she's got some Medabot protecting her.' One of the thugs radioed the shadowy figure.
The shadow figure then leaps off the building, to the tarmac,
Back on the tarmac, Metabee, Perdita, Tula and Cerebix was running across it, when they were about to run pass a luggage carrier, Metabee looks ahead and immediately stops himself, Perdita, Tula and Cerebix as a large airplane was rolling out for its assent.
Tula, Metabee, Cerebix and Perdita steps back and Metabee turned to look at Perdita with a wide eyed look.
"Whoa, that... Uh... Dragon just came outta nowhere!" Metabee said to Perdita, pointing at the airplane.
But Perdita just had an awkward look on her face, "You do know that I am only eleven and do not need fairy tale analogies." Perdita said to Metabee, as she maybe a child, but she's knows a plane when she sees one and does not need to be talked down to.
Metabee then had an awkward look, "Uhh, sorry, didn't mean to..." He said, as he pointed his right thumb at himself, "First-timer saving royalty here..." He tells her, not meaning to belittle her just because she's a child.
Metabee turned to look to see if that airplane had passed, while Perdita gave a smile,
"No apology needed... My shining knight (!)" Perdita joked, deciding to humor Metabee on that fairy tale analogy.
Which made Metabee turns to look at with a surprised look before it turned to a amused look, "Ha, thanks, kid, that-" He said but,
Then a large metal hand that was connected by a sting of energy flies in and grabs Metabee by his torso, to his shock, as he is pulled off his feet, getting pulled away from Cerebix, Tula and Perdita, they were caught completely off-guard.
Metabee then gets swing and tossed into a luggage carrier crate, smashing it up, Metabee slides to the ground, with his eyes closed in pain, a shadow emerges, covering Metabee.
"It's be a long time, Tin Can (!)" The sound of a familiar voice was heard, as Metabee opens his eyes and looked up,
Metabee looked shocked, seeing who was standing in-front of him, "You!" He yelled out in fury,
The shadowy figure reveals to be Chrome Dome, as his hand retraces back to his arm, as he glared down as his enemy.
Metabee quickly gets back up of his feet, getting into a readied position to fight, "What are you doin' here!?" He demanded to know,
Chrome Dome crossed his arms, "I was just here on business, but I'll take time off for a rematch." Chrome Dome said to Metabee, as he quickly uncrosses his arms and swung his right fist down at Metabee, who quickly reacts and jumps and rolls out of the way, getting back on his feet.
Metabee then starts opening fire at Chrome Dome, firing his left gauntlet as he ran around Chrome Dome until he reaches his back, but Metabee's shots were bouncing off Chrome Dome's armor plating, as he turned to face Metabee, and fires his right hand and it flies and grabs Metabee by his torso again, and is reeled in, with him along with it, when the fist reattaches with Chrome Dome's arm, he held Metabee close to his faceplate, glaring at his enemy, while Metabee glares back.
"You're the one who's tryin' to axe off the kid!" Metabee said, putting it together that Chrome Dome's in charge of Perdita's attempted assassination.
"It's nothing personal, someone hired me for a lotta money to bump off the kid," Chrome Dome tells Metabee, as he lifts Metabee over his head and then with a mighty swing down, smashes Metabee into the ground, cracking it.
Chrome Dome then reaches into his sash and then takes out a metal handle of a sword, but there was no blade attached to it, but then, a blade of pure energy emerges out the handle, Chrome Dome then held the energy sword and swings it down, driving the energy blade into the ground, just near Metabee's head, where looking at it, wide eyed and dumbfounded.
"Uhh, the energy sword is new?" Metabee said awkwardly, as he's never seen Chrome Dome with an energy sword.
"Like it (?) After our last fight, I've had a lot of upgrades installed," Chrome Dome tells Metabee,
Metabee then had an amused look, "Let me guess, those upgrades were on manuals with little maze, coloring sections and pop-up parts (!)" Metabee mocked Chrome Dome, reminding him how Chrome Dome was beaten by Metabee because he didn't know how to operate and attach his own weapons.
Chrome Dome was angered by that comment, as he pulls out his energy sword out of the ground, and held it up, ready to drive the blade right through Metabee's head, but then, from behind him, a foot is swung and hits Chrome Dome in the head, he turned to look at who hit him.
It's reveal to be Tula, who held a ready stance, as she glares at Chrome Dome, as Cerebix took Perdita and hid,
"And who are you..?" Chrome Dome asked, sounding unimpressed at her, as he turned around completely to face Tula.
Tula raised her fists up and narrowed her eyes, "An Atlantean warrior who is going to reduce you into a pile of scrap-metal." Tula stated to him, in a cold tone,
Chrome Dome puts his energy sword away and held up his fists, he then swings his left fist at Tula, who quickly ducks and moves back, Chrome Dome then threw his right fist, Tula spins and dodges it again, and she jumps and performs a spinning double kick to Chrome Dome's face, knocking him back a bit, as Tula lands, Metabee leaps over her and lands on Chrome Dome's shoulders, and he started shooting his right gauntlet at Chrome Dome's neck, trying to break it, but his armor was too thick for Metabee's shots to penetrate, Chrome Dome reaches his right arm around and grabs Metabee by his left leg and pulls him off him, Tula then leaps out to tackle Chrome Dome, but he swings Metabee downward, slamming him into Tula and the two are smashed into the ground.
Chrome Dome then stood before the two heroes, laying on the ground with Metabee laying on top of Tula, before lifting up his right leg and delivers a strong stomp, smashes Metabee and Tula into the ground further, Chrome Dome then turn to face a luggage cart.
He began to walk towards it, bends down and puts his left hand under the cart, and tosses it aside with ease, revealing Perdita and Cerebix, with the robot standing in-front of Perdita, protecting her, he rotates his head to look at her,
"Run, Princess, I will hold him off!" Cerebix told Perdita, as she nodded and runs away, but Cerbix then rotates his head back to face Chrome Dome, only to see him tower over him, Cerebix looked scared, "Oh dear..." He said, worried and scared, as Chrome Dome grabs him by his head and tosses Cerebix aside.
Perdita kept running, as fast as she could run, but Chrome Dome fires his right hand at Perdita, reaching and grabbing the back of her hoodie, where Chrome Dome reels her back to him, and he held her up, lifting her to his eye lever.
"They said I'd be payed double for being you in alive, so you, little lady, are gonna score me the sweetest upgrades in my career." Chrome Dome said to Perdita, in a condescending tone, while Perdita glares at him coldly.
Metabee and Tula struggled to get back up, as Metabee had a painful look in his eyes, as he turns his head and sees Chrome Dome, as he presses a button on his waist and then, flying in was a jet, that hovered over him, as a rope ladder drops in-front of him, Chrome Dome then puts Perdita over his right shoulder, and he grabs hold of the rope ladder and the jet lifts him off the ground and flies him away.
Tula and Metabee manages to get back up on their feet, both of them looked up and watches Chrome Dome get away with Perdita, Metabee had a look of anger and frustration, Tula looked worried for Perdita, as Cerebix walks over to them, with a worried look in his eyes as well.
Now outside of the airport, Metabee, Tula, Cerebix was running to the Hydraulix Jamma,
"Where are we going?" Cerebix asked Metabee, as he doesn't know what Metabee will plan now,
"We're gonna head to S.H.I.E.L.D., get some reinforcements and find where Chrome Dome is taking the kid!" Metabee tells him, in an intimidating tone, as he opens the door to his car.
"But by the time we get back to S.H.I.E.L.D., it'll most likely be too late." Tula retorts back to Metabee, they'll be wasting time going to S.H.I.E.L.D. and must focus all attention on saving Perdita before she's killed.
Metabee sat in the driver's seat, getting more angry and frustrated, he knows that if they head back to S.H.I.E.L.D., the chances of finding out where Chrome Dome is taking Perdita are greatly raised, but Metabee saw the jet they were in headed west to the ocean, the trail will get cold if they head back. to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Metabee didn't know what to do,
But then, the computer in the Hydraulix Jamma suddenly turned on, with gets Tula, Metabee and Cerebix's attention, as they turned to look at the screen, with a surprised looks in their eyes.
Text started appear on screen, and it readied 'Read and follow everything that is written on the screen.'
Metabee, Cerebix and Tula both looked confused, what was happening? How did the computer turn on and who was sending that text?
"Wha..?" Metabee said, completely unsure on what was happening.
'Listen, there isn't time, the queen don't have long, I'm an ally and I can help you save her, she being taking to an airship far off the coast, I've sent you the coordinates into your car's nav-unit, if you hurry and jump onto a jet, you'll be about to save her in time.' The text readied.
Metabee looked at the message with great interest, but he was unsure wither to trust is sudden information, this was send by someone completely faceless, who would trust information from someone behind a screen.
Cerebix looked at Metabee, "I know it's out of the blue, and from a unknown source, but we are very short on options and it maybe Queen Perdita only chance." Cerebix explained to him,
Metabee looked at him, with a contemplating look in his eyes, he knew Cerebix was right, this was information that could save Perdita, unknown or not, they had to take it.
A while later, far out in the ocean, Chrome Dome's jet was flying towards a large air craft carrier, landing on it,
Chrome Dome exits out of his jet, carrying Perdita on his right shoulder and walked towards a group of highly advanced robots,
Chrome Dome then puts Perdita down, facing her forward at the group of robots and looks up and saw someone that shocked her to her core,
The person was a woman who was Caucasian, had blond hair tied into a bun, and she wore a suit, as she was glaring down at Perdita.
Perdita looked so shocked, as she looked at the woman, "Lillian..?" She said, as the woman was the so-called 'Friend' who Perdita contacted for help, Perdita immediately puts a two and two together and figures out that Lillian was the one who hired Chrome Dome to kill her.
Perdita then felt anger towards Lillian, scowling at the woman, "You betrayed your country! My father and I treated you like family, and you do this for what!? Money!?" She ranted at Lillian,
But Lillian leans down, with a look of total rage and hatred, "Revenge! You killed my brother when you exiled him from Vlatava; he was killed by marauders within a week!" She yelled at Perdita, telling her motives.
But Perdita was unfazed by this knowledge, "He was a traitor who sold weapons and government information to Vlatava's enemies, what happened to him outside the borders had nothing to do with me!" Perdita tells her,
"Enough!" The sound of a new voice was heard, which made Lillian pull away from Perdita, as Perdita turned to see where the voice came from,
Walking towards them, was a tall figure, wearing a mechanical armor which covers his whole body, including his whole face, the only parts that are not covered are his eyes, he was also wearing a green tunic that goes down to his knees, with a big black belt around his waist, he has a dark green cape with a hood to cover his face, held up by two golden clasps on both sides of his chest.
Perdita's expression changed to a look of shock, more shock than seeing Lillian, she knew who that was,
The ruler of Latveria and one of the most dangerous and feared man in the Universe... Doctor Doom.
Perdita then turned to look at Lillian, "And here I thought you couldn't sink any lower..." She said to Lillian, glaring coldly, she would have thought that a woman of Lillian's principles would never even think of seeking aid from a tyrant like Doctor Victor Von Doom.
"If it meant my brother resting in peace, principal is a small price to pay." Lillian tells Perdita, scowling at her.
Then Perdita turned and sees Doctor Doom loom over her, menacingly,
"From this angle, you're monstrous appearance doesn't do the rumors any justice (!)" Perdita told Doom, trying not to show fear and brave against him.
Doom narrowed his eyes at her, "Such childish insults... I expect as much from you..." He told Perdita, in a very deep and threating tone of voice,
Perdita was scared on inside but did her best to not show it, "All of this, you're responsible, the attack on the UN, putting the bounty on my head..." She said to Doom, figuring out that everything is his doing.
But Doom merely scoffed at her, "Please, you think too highly of yourself, I would never waste my time and effort on an insignificant child... no... I am merely an observer; Lillian came to me, offering a proposition." He said to Perdita,
"With you gone and no one to claim the throne, and as an old friend of your father and matriarch to Vlatava's council, I seize power, and Vlatava will then become an ally to Latveria, then once the treaty with Transia, Doom will get access to the uranium mines." Lillian explained to Perdita, with a dark smile on her face,
"All of that material will be excellent from my research and experiments, and dear Lillian will have the satisfaction of getting her revenge on you by taking your throne and ruling Vlatava under the might of Doom..." Doctor Doom finished,
Perdita turned to look at Lillian, as she crosses her arms and had a satisfied smirk on her face, as she reaches her right hand behind her back and takes out a gun, ready to kill Perdita.
But then, from up above, something hits and knocks the gun out of Lillian's hand, to her shock, as Doom quickly looked up and sees a helicopter flying above them, as the lights turns on and shines down on them, where a rope was dropped down and sliding down on it, was Metabee, quickly shooting his right gauntlet at the Doombots, which made them back up a few feet.
Metabee lands in-between Perdita and Lillian, guarding Perdita with a determined look in his eyes,
Doom then looked at Metabee, with a very unimpressed look in his eyes, "And what is this supposed to be?" He asked,
"A little ant that about to get crushed!" The sound of Chrome Dome was heard, as his left arm was fired and grabs Metabee from behind and pulls him away from Perdita,
When Chrome Dome's hand reattached to his arm, he holds up Metabee over his head, as he prepared to smash Metabee into the ground, but Metabee quickly aimed his left gauntlet and fired it at Chrome Dome's head, which causes him to let go of him and Metabee lands on his feet, Chrome Dome recovers and quickly takes out his energy sword and swings it down at Metabee, who jumps out of the way.
The Doombots recover and then aimed both their weapons at Metabee, but then, from the side, two large streams of water comes in and blasts the two Doombots, to Lillian shock as she turned to look at where those steams of water came from.
Being elevated by a water, being carried was Aquagirl, as she was using her hydrokinesis powers, as she lands on the ground, and looks ahead, seeing Perdita and Lillian, Lillian then turned and tried to run away, but Aquagirl quickly creates a ball of water in her left hand and then threw it at Lillian, which hits her and immediately turns to ice, trapping her arms and legs, causing her to fall to the ground.
The Doombots stands back and began to open fire at Aquagirl, Perdita quickly ran for cover, as Aquagirl charges towards the Doombots,
While Doctor Doom watched this fight, walking backwards into the shadow with a dark glare in his eyes,
Aquagirl was striving side to side, dodging the blaster fire, when she reached one of the Doombots, she moves to its side and grabs it's left arm with her right hand, and then pulls her left arm back and thrusted her opened palm and smashes clean through the arm's joints, tear the arm off, the Doombot then turned and swung it's right arm at Aquagirl, but she blocks it with her right forearm, she then threw her left fist and punches the arm away from her, Aquagirl quickly crouches down.
"Leg sweep!" Aquagirl yelled out as she performs a right leg sweep that knocks the Doombot off its feet and falls to the ground, she quickly stands up and lifts up his left fist, "Ye-ay!" Aquagirl yelled out as she punches the Doombot's head, smashing through it, destroying it.
Meanwhile, Chrome Dome swung his energy sword to the right, but Metabee ducks, then he swings the sword to the left and Metabee jumps up and dodges it, Chrome Dome then raised the sword up and strikes it down, where Metabee quickly performs a mid-air spin and dodges it and delivers a spinning right kick to Chrome Dome's face, Metabee lands and jumps backwards and fires his horn missiles and they flew towards Chrome and explodes on contact.
Metabee looks ahead at the fire, but Chrome Dome emerges from out of it, with not a single scratch on him, Metabee was surprised to see this,
Chrome Dome narrowed his eyes at Metabee, "You seemed to have forgotten already, I've can take whatever you can throw at me!" He told Metabee, as he lifts up his right arm and his fist then transforms into a much larger and heavier fist and charged at Metabee.
Aquagirl was fighting the remaining Doombot as it was firing its arm cannons at her, but Aquagirl was sprinting towards it, the Doom both then raised up its left arm and swings it down at her, but Aquagirl sidesteps to the right and leaps on top of the Doombot and places both her hands on both side of its head.
Aquagirl had a smirk on her face, as electricity started surging from her hands, "Little known fact about Atlantean, we don't just have the ability to control water, we can generate electricity and direct like a lightning bolt!" She tells the Doombot, as the electricity started to overload the Doombot, causing its head to explode.
The headless Doombot falls to the ground, and Aquagirl jumps off it, as she looks ahead and sees Chrome Dome as he delivers a powerful right punch that sends Metabee flying and tumbling on the ground.
Metabee rolls until he stops on his back, as he was about to get back up, Chrome Dome stomps his left foot down, smashing Metabee back against the ground, as he had a look of pain in his eyes as he looked up and looks at Chrome Dome, who had an intense look in his eyes.
"You beat me once in the past, but now, I'm better than you in every way! I'm stronger, faster and smarter than you! You hear me!" Chrome Dome yelled out at Metabee, clunching his right fist.
Then, Aquagirl leaps out and tackles Chrome Dome from behind, pushing him off Metabee, Chrome Dome as caught off-guard, as Aquagirl wrapped her arms around Chrome Dome's neck, and puts her knees on his back, and pulled to try and tear Chrome Dome's head off.
Chrome Dome struggled to get Aquagirl off him, but then held up his left arm up, and then whole turns in a 180 degree turn and Chrome Dome then delivers a power punch to Aquagirl, who was caught off-guard, and knocked off his back, she tumbles on the ground.
Metabee was now back on his feet and ran up to Chrome Dome, leaping up and threw his right fist at him, but Chrome Dome quickly turned and grabs Metabee's right arm in his left hand, Chrome Dome then threw Metabee to the ground, as he grinds against the ground until he hits a wall.
Metabee sits up and then looked up and sees Chrome Dome standing before him, with his energy sword his left hand,
"Now, for the endgame..." Chrome Dome said, as he raised up his left arm, prepared to strike Metabee down,
"NO!" The sound of Perdita's voice was heard as she jumps and grabs hold of Chrome Dome's arm, trying to stop him.
Metabee's eyes widen in shock, while Chrome Dome looked annoyed,
"Little brat!" Chrome Dome said in frustration, as he pulls his left arm inward and then threw his elbow into Perdita's face, at full force, while knocks her off his arm and she falls to the ground.
Metabee looked shocked at what Chrome Dome just did, as he puts his sword away and his right arm then transforms into an arm cannon and turned to aim it at the downed Perdita,
Metabee sat there, with horror in his eyes, as he watched Chrome Dome as he was about to kill Perdita, "Leave her alone..." He said quietly,
Chrome Dome charges the shot,
"Leave her alone..!" Metabee repeated, now more loader,
Chrome Dome narrowed his eyes as he was about to fire,
Metabee then felt his anger grow but then felt a sudden surge within his body, as scowls fury at Chrome Dome.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Metabee roared out, as he stands up, with his eyes glowing bright green.
Then, something deep within Metabee awakens and he's then consumed in a huge bright light, a light that shined a beam into the sky, then light dies down a bit to reveal Metabee, whose entire body was shining so bright, with a serious look in his eyes, feeling so powerful.
"Dude... I rock..!" Metabee said, as he's never felt like this before,
Aquagirl saw this, her face completely speechless of what she was seeing, while Perdita saw this as well,
Chrome Dome looked at the super charged Metabee, with widen eyes as he didn't know what was happening, but he quickly puts on a serious face, as he turned and aimed his arm cannon at Metabee, with it fully charged and ready to fire.
But Metabee then raised up both his arms, not intimidated by Chrome Dome and still having that serious look in his eyes.
"It's time... To kiss your butt goodbye!" Metabee yelled out,
Chrome Dome then fires his cannon, firing a energy beam at Metabee, but Metabee threw his arms down, aiming both his gauntlets at Chrome Dome and fires a blast of energy that was larger than Chrome Dome's, the two beams clashes with each other, the beams were pushing against each other, but then Metabee's beam then pushes stronger until it engulfs Chrome Dome's beam and it heads straight towards Chrome Dome, until it reaches him and hits him, creating a huge flash.
The area was covered in dust, as Metabee lowers his arms, as the light his body was admitting dies down until it was gone, as he tries to get a good look at Chrome Dome.
When the dust cleared, Chrome Dome was standing, but his entire right arm, along with a good chunk of his chest was blasted off, with Chrome Dome having a shock and speechless look in his eyes.
Metabee's eyes widen in surprised, amazed at what he just did,
"How... How did that happen..?" Chrome Dome said bluntly, until the light in his eyes go out and he drops to the ground,
Metabee turned and sees Perdita, who was still on the ground, he quickly ran over to her to see if she was okay, he reaches her and Perdita lifted herself up and turned to look at Metabee, as she had a bruise on her forehead.
Metabee looked at Perdita with concerned, "You OK, kid?" He asked her, worried,
Perdita smiled at Metabee gently, as she gently rubs the bruise on her forehead, "Only a bruise but I'll live," She assures him that she was alright.
Metabee was happy to hear that, as Aquagirl was walking up to the two, as she reached both her hands out to Perdita and Metabee, as the two takes her hands and she pulls them up on to their feet.
Still on the ground, trapped in ice, Lillian struggled to get free, until she looks up and sees Perdita, standing before her, with a serious scowl on her face.
"I did what I had to to your brother as queen, but you however, your fate will be far worse... Old friend..." Perdita told Lillian, assuring her that she will face a harsher punishment.
Sometime later, a Helicarrier was flying next to Doom's aircraft, as there were S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers were escorting Lillian into a Quinjet, with her in handcuffs, while, inside a containment unit, was the still shut downed Chrome Dome.
Metabee, Aquagirl and Perdita were standing before Nick Fury,
"Your embassy has been informed that that you're unharmed, your majesty." Nick explained to Perdita,
Perdita nodded, "Thank you, Director Fury," She thanked him,
"So, what about Doom, he was a part of this?" Metabee asked Fury, as he wondered why Doctor Doom isn't being arrested.
"Apart of this (?) Please, like I told the child; that would be beneath me..." The sound of Doom's voice was heard behind them, as Metabee Aquagirl and Perdita all turned to see him, emerging.
Aquagirl narrowed her eyes at Doom, "But you admit that you aided Lillian in assassinating Perdita." Aquagirl told Doom,
"Aiding how? I merely told her how to approach the situation, she orchestrated the attack at the UN, she hired the hitmen from an offshore account of hers, and she was the one who held the gun that almost killed the child. You're accusations towards me are exactly what I have already stated, I am guilty of nothing." Doctor Doom tells them, dark and calculating tone of voice, explaining how he played a very small role in all of this.
Metabee takes a step forward, with a serious look in his eyes, as he pointed his left index finger at Doom, "You expect us to just believe you had nothing to do with this (?) For cryin' out loud, your name is DOOM!" He told Doom,
Doctor Doom glares down Metabee, as he puts his hands behind his back, "Then it would seem I have to educate you..." Doom tells him, as he points out at the ocean, "Had you bothered to take into account that we are in international waters, outside of US and S.H.I.E.L.D. jurisdiction, the event happened on my airship, property of the Latveria government and the crime was all under the reins of Ms. Lillian, and just for make sure you understand, diplomatic immunity..." Doom explained to great detail to Metabee, reminding that he isn't just some super villain, he is a diplomat to his country and with perfectly covered tracks and his diplomatic immunity; he's untouchable.
Metabee was in disbelief on what he was hearing, he turned to look at Nick, "He can't be serious; you can't just let him go!" He tells Fury,
But Fury had a serious look on his face, "I'm sorry but he's right, we have nothing to charge him with..." He tells Metabee,
Metabee turns to look at Doctor Doom, as he turned around to face the open ocean, "If there is nothing else to discuss, there are matters in Latveria that needs my attention, so kindly leave," Doom told them all, in a calculating tone,
Metabee then got angry, even if he didn't do anything, he told Lillian what to do and conspired with her to take control of both Vlatava and Transia, and was totally okay to just stand and watch Perdita, a child, be killed, Metabee then clenches his fists in rage, as he looked like he was about to attack Doom.
But then, Perdita puts her right hand on Metabee's left shoulder, which made him turn his head to look at her, as she had a straight face, there was nothing they can do, they should leave now, Metabee stared at Perdita, before he calms down, Perdita was safe, that was all that was important.
Metabee and Perdita both turned and walked to the Quinjet, with Aquagirl and Fury, entering it.
When the cargo door closes, the Quinjet flies off the ground and off Doom's airship, then the Helicarrier then flies off,
Leaving Doom on his airship, with a menacing look in his eyes…
Now back in Jump City, on Triskelion Island, inside the building,
Metabee, Aquagirl and Cerebix was inside a room, with Perdita, who had some bodyguards from her government there, as Fury was standing in-between them.
Perdita walked over to Metabee, Cerebix and Aqaugirl, with a happy smile on her face, "I thank you all for saving my life, Vlatava is in your debt, as am I." She thanked all three of them, owing a debt of gratitude to them.
Aquagirl smiled as she and Cerebix nodded, as Perdita then looked at Metabee,
"Hey, we're heroes; saving people is just second nature." Metabee tells Perdita, with a glad look in his eyes.
Perdita then turned to look at Nick, "And this marks an alliance between Vlatava and S.H.I.E.L.D." She tells Nick, as she has decided to form an alliance with S.H.I.E.L.D., if there's more people like Lillian and Doctor Doom who will threaten Vlatava, it's her duty to insure that her country and all her people will be protected, and she wants to form an alliance with S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick had a straight face on his face, as he nodded,
Perdita looked back at Metabee, "And a hand of friendship to my valiant, shining knight (!)" She said to Metabee, giving him a heartfelt smile, wanting to have Metabee as not only an ally, but a friend.
Metabee had a happy look in his eyes, as he would like to be Perdita's friend,
Aquagirl then leans down and looks at Metabee, with a look of wondering on her face, "By the way, what was that bright power you did on the airship, Metabee?" She asked Metabee, curious on how Metabee suddenly had a surge of great power coursing through his whole body and blasted a beam of energy that could destroy a row of buildings in one blast.
Metabee turned to look up at Aquagirl, looking confused, "I don't know, I've never did anything like that or felt power like that before?" He said, as he had no idea what that power was or how he activated it.
"Regardless, you managed to prevent an international incident, you handled yourself well, Metabee," Nick said to Metabee,
Metabee turns to look at Cerebix, "Hey, don't leave out Cerebix, he knew who Perdita was and what the situation was, and he contacted S.H.I.E.L.D. for backup while me and Tula took cared up Chrome Dome." He said, giving props to Cerebix for helping,
Nick nodded in agreement, "I see that you'll make a great addition to S.H.I.E.L.D." He tells Cerebix,
Cerebix turned to look up at Fury, "I will do my best, sir." He said to him, assuring that he will do his job to the best of his abilities.
Metabee and Peredita then turned to look at each other, as she smiled at him, raising her right hand out, "I came to this country for an alliance; I didn't expect to gain a friend..." She said to Metabee,
Metabee had a glad look in his eyes, as he takes Perdita's hand and shakes it, "Hey, you may be a queen of a country, but it's never too late to have friends." He tells her, as her friend.
An hour later, after Perdita left, inside the SHED, Metabee enters his room, ready to go to bed.
As he reaches his bed, his TV suddenly turns on, which made Metabee turns to look at the screen, with a surprised look in his eyes, as the bright light on the screen started to type in some text.
'You did better than I thought,' The screen readied,
Metabee quickly knew that this was the same person who helped him, as he takes a step forward to the TV, "Who are you, are you watching me right now?" He asked, wanting to know who this person was, why they helped him and how were they communicating with him.
'You wouldn't be hearing from me for a while, just continue what you do and continue getting stronger.' The text readied as the TV suddenly turns off,
Leaving Metabee standing there, in a dark room, confused on what happened, who was the person behind the screen, was it a possible ally or likely foe...
Meanwhile in a dark room, with hundreds of screens and equipment, there was someone sitting in a chair, in-front of them all.
"He has finally unlocked the Medaforce..." The sound of a voice was heard, talking about Metabee,
"Yes, but he has yet to understand any of it, so in the meantime, we just continue observing him, when the time comes, we will bring him into the fold..." The voice of the person in the chair said.
Emerging from the shadows, was a Medabot, that had a resemblance to Metabee, but he had a white paintjob with piercing red eyes, sword like wings on both of his shoulders, pincer on his right knuckles and a more heavily armored knuckled on his left hand and two horns on his head that resembles the horns of a stag beetle.
The mysterious medabot looked at one of the screens that had the image of Metabee on it.
Meanwhile, in the far reaches of space, Taskmaster's flagship was still docked near the still being constructed portal,
Inside the ship, Red X was walking down the hallway, with a dour look in his eyes, and then, from behind, coming towards Red X using his super speed, Black Velocity puts his right arm around the back of Red X's neck.
"Hey, buddy, finished with your little brooding section (?)" Black Velocity joked, as they walked,
Red X kept facing forward, as he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone; Black Velocity stared at his partner for a bit.
"Seriously, how long is this whole 'Walls Up!' attitude gonna last, 'cuz Tasky is planning another mission for us, he isn't gonna be happy if you aren't on your A game." Black Velocity tells Red X, warning him.
Red X stops walking as he swats Black Velocity's arm off him, as he turned to glare at him, "Never assume that I'm afraid of Taskmaster, because I'm not, and feel free to tell Taskmaster that I'm going to be unavailable for any missions or anything he needs..." Red X told Black Velocity, with venom in his voice, making it clear that he won't be helping Taskmaster with any mission.
Red X then turned and continued walking away, leaving Black Velocity standing there,
As he watches Red X walk away, then suddenly, Black Velocity felt a sharp headache, that catches him off-guard as he puts both hands on his head, and nearly loses his balances as he tumbles and leans against the wall, Black Velocity groans with great pain, as it felt like his skull was slowly cracking in half like an egg shell.
Black Velocity slowly walks, still having his side be held up against the wall, and headed to the med-bay.
Unknown to Black Velocity, behind him, Nico Robin was standing from a far, with a straight face as she saw what just happened, and what it makes her feel is more curious of what Mistral is doing to Black Velocity...
(Author Notes - Happy on who this episode came out, good character development for Metabee, and introducing one of the greatest super villains in comic history: Doctor Doom, yes he didn't have much of a real part in this episode but I feel that it's good foreshadowing for future episodes where the team goes up against him, I know that this season this going on a bit longer that thought, but I have lots of ideas swirling in my head, thinking of the interconnected of future episodes to finish this season off, cuz I really have lots of ideas for season 3 and I want to also focus more on Tale of the Chameleon and Secret of Terra.)
