The sky shone bright down upon two boys standing opposite of eachother in the park, a fluff of dark green hair opposite of the spiked ash blonde hair of the other. The two boys seemed to be breathing heavily, their arms covered in dirt and shirts smudged with mud but the two of them were grinning widely, equally devilish and hyper smiles that split their faces in two. They couldn't have been no older than four years old, a group of four on the benches behind them, chatting amicably and laughing over something. Explosions seeming to erupt from the downturned palms of the ash blonde boy while he faced off against the other. The two seemed to rush off to each other, a small excited warcry erupting from them before they clashed, a brilliant explosion of two boys slamming into each other and immediately wrestling the other to the ground. For the green haired boy, his heart was pounding as adrenaline coursed through him as he grappled with his best friend. The two collided with the ground for what had to have been the tenth time in the hour and immediately rolled about, small cracks of miniature explosions splashing harmlessly across his arms as at this point in time, they weren't strong enough to cause actual harm. Sharp Green hues met with vibrant crimson ones as they pushed apart, the two scrambling across the ground, but the boy with green hair was suddenly not feeling all too well, everything was suddenly feeling too hot, like he spent too much time outside in the sun during a really hot summer day. A shouted Izuku was heard from one of the adults as he bent over, worry heard clear in their voice before the world around him erupted into White, a massive pillar of Ivory flames swirling around him, streaks of the purest gold seen swirling within. And then the world went black for him.

A male with sharp black hair was the first to react, making his way forward and catching the small boy just as the white flames disappeared, but while there was worry in his features there was also indescribable pride, and a remembrance of a younger brother having the same problem when his flames first showed themselves. "It looks like Izuku's quirk just came in." His voice was smooth and sharp as he stood up. "I thought your quirk was just a fire-breathing qui- he got your family's actual quirk didn't he?" Came from a woman walking forward, with a lighter tone of green hair than what the boy now called Izuku had. "Yeah, he got the Todoroki family gift, a quirk that is seemingly as strong as my brother's, but that does give me a good name for his quirk." The male said, smiling lightly as he walked forward, carrying the unconscious boy in his arms. "Sorry for leaving so soon, Masaru, Mitsuki, Izu's quirk looks to have exhausted him in its manifestation." The male said, an apologetic smile towards a woman with the same ash blonde hair as the younger boy and a male with dark brown hair. "No need to worry, Hisashi, we'll give you guys some time to teach little Izu there how to get a hold of his quirk." Came from the male known as Masaru. "BYE AUNTIE INKO AND UNCLE HISASHI!" A shout from the young boy. "Bye Katsuki, you can come by tomorrow, Izu has a new All Might Figurine to show you!" Came the reply from Inko before the two left the park, fifteen minutes later they were pulling up in front of a modest looking two story house, just down the street from the Bakugou's place of residence. Hisashi led a still slightly tired Izuku into the house and down into the basement.

"Alright Izu, can you summon your quirk?" Came the soft question as Hisashi looked down at Izuku. The young boy would nod his head before a look of intense focus came about him. Hisashi would wonder if Izuku's quirk worked exactly like common fire emitter type quirks, but he wasn't so certain as his son's flames were white but held heat to them that could only have been felt when his brother's flames burnt blue when rage had consumed him. Shaking his head, he focused upon Izuku as the young boy brought his hands up, white flames with crests of gold dancing across them before they soon danced upwards, licking up the boys arms, causing him to laugh at the sight as they slowly surrounded his entirely body, burning as if in a pyre before it faded away.

"Good Izuku, now we will train." Came the final words from Hisashi before hours later, the two emerged from the basement, Izuku once more held in Hisashi's arms, sound asleep before being laid out in bed. Hisashi would offer Inko a kind smile before pressing a kiss to his wife's head. "I'll be back later, Inko, work called out for a case." He spoke before leaving the house.

Five Years Later

Izuku was standing in the basement, his breath coming out in short gasps as he looked towards his father, standing in the corner of the room, his sharp turquoise eyes focused upon him, his brow furrowed slightly before motioning for Izuku to continue. Nodding, Izuku would pull back his fist, calling his flames forward, the ivory and gold flames springing into existence around his closed fist before they rapidly began to condense, bursting forward, his fist impacted the wall in front of him, and like his father had told him to do for years on end, focused the fire further, having it burn hotter, faster as his fist met the slowly heating metal in front of him. But soon Izuku would step back with a hiss, shaking his hand as the flames were dispelled. He could hear it, his dad marching up behind him, grabbing him by the shoulders and spinning him around. "COME ON IZUKU IT'S NOT THAT HARD, YOU WANT TO BE A HERO DON'T YOU?" His father would shout out, flames licking out from inside his mouth. Izuku would flinch back slightly before squaring his jaw as he met his father's gaze. "Yes Father." He spoke out. Hisashi would take in a deep breath, seeming to center himself as he looked down at Izuku. "Izu, you want to be a hero, this is the training needed to be able to rise through the rankings… alright that is enough for today, go on upstairs, I hear your mom is making Katsudon tonight for your birthday." Izuku would nod rapidly, giving his dad a quick hug before rushing upstairs, not seeing his father pinching the bridge of his nose, nor hearing the self hate spewing from his father's mouth.

Izuku made his way slowly into the living room, his eyes gliding over everything as he moved about, he could see multiple pictures adorning the walls, pictures with him and Kacchan standing happily together in front of a massive cake and a cardboard cut-out of the best hero in the world, All Might, to pictures of him and his family standing together, even one of him and his dad in his hero outfit. There were also other pictures, pictures of mom as a kid in front of grandpa midoriya and grandma midoriya, and even pictures of them at the wedding with his dad and mom, but as always, there were no pictures of his dad with anyone from his side of the family. Shaking his head, he moved into the kitchen, sitting down and smiling happily towards his mom as she laid out three plates of Katsudon, waiting only for a couple of minutes before his father joined them for dinner.

"How was training, Izu?" His mother would ask as she picked up her chopsticks, slowly picking at her food. "It was fun, Dad was showing me how to do Endeavor's super move, it was awesome." Izuku said, his smile wide, not witnessing the small flinch from Hisashi at the mention of that. Izuku slowly dug into the food in front of him. "Me and Kacchan have also been training as well when I'm over at Auntie Mitsuki's house, we are trying to see if we can't combine moves together, cause the heat I have can make Kacchan sweat more and the more sweat he has the bigger his explosion." Izuku would miss the shared look of concern at that. "Izuku, do you know why your father is the one training you and not, say, Uncle Masaru?" Inko would ask, her voice soft as she reached across the table, laying a hand on his arm, forcing Izuku to look up. "Is it because dad is a Pro Hero and Uncle Masaru is not?" Izuku asked, his voice soft as he looked towards his mom. "Yes, if you and Katsuki are going to continue training, why don't you check with your dad if you can bring him in on some training sessions." The nine year old Izuku Midoriya would nod before moving back to his food. After he was finished, he saw his dad get up, motioning for Izuku to follow him, and down back into the Basement they went.

Five years Later

"So as third year students, it's time to think seriously about your futures and what you want to do with your lives." The Guidance counselor at the front of the class began, before grabbing his papers. "I could pass out some career aptitude tests but why bother, I know you all want to go to the hero track." Came the statement as he tossed his papers into the air behind him, the various students in the class shouting with excitement as they activated their quirks, but for two students who sat there quietly, one leaning back in his seat and the other writing quickly within a notebook. "Yes, yes, you've got some very impressive Quirks but no power usage allowed in school. Get a hold of yourselves." With that both Bakugou and Midoriya raised their heads, focusing their attention onto the teacher, almost as if they shared a single brain they said. "Hey teach don't lump me in with this bunch of losers." With that, shouts of shocked outrage could be heard, focusing in upon the two of them.

"Well you both have impressive quirks, and your test results definitely indicate both of you could get into U.A." The two seemed to nod at that as they turned their attention to the other students. Izuku was the first to speak. "None of you really have quirks well suited to hero work, so if you even managed to get into a Hero course, the only thing you all would amount to is some sidekick to a busted D-Lister." Came from Izuku before Katsuki went in. "And all of you are simply just Extras." And with that, time went on, the two of them settling back into silence as homeroom finished as the school day went on. Eventually leading to Izuku as usual, staying behind, focused more on his notebook before he packed up, quickly leaving the school and making his way down the street, before the sound of something heavy and metal making its movements.
Turning around Izuku would focus his attention on this sludge slowly rising up out of the hole before it launched towards him. The sludge slammed into him, enveloping him, trying to force its way down his throat. Izuku struggled for several seconds, panic slowly overtaking him, his eyes widening as he struggled before the first sparks of fire seemed to erupt from his fingers before swiftly igniting into a burning crescendo of white flames that tried to consume the sludge that was overtaking him, but even as it began to make its way up his arms, Izuku felt his vision going dark before he heard something. "TEXAS SMAAAAAAAAASH!" And then all went black. He would slowly come back to consciousness as he felt something repeatedly slapping himself across the face before he woke up, and in his face was a giant beaming grin. "THERE YOU GO, YOUNG MAN, YOU ARE SAFE NOW BECAUSE I AM HERE!" Came the loud exclamation from the massive man's mouth. For a second Izuku's brain drew a blank, a mixture of shock from what just happened to what is currently happening. "A-ALL MIGHT!" Izuku would shout out, struggling to grab his book from where it spilled across the floor only for him to flick through it as his eyes landed upon something scrawled across it.

"Th-thank you, All Might." Izuku would state, falling into a deep bow before the Number One Pro Hero before quickly straightening back up, watching as the Hero turned. "NO NEED TO THANK ME, MY BOY." Watching as the hero moved to step away, Izuku did the only thing that came to mind. "All Might wait, I have a question!" And then he grabbed onto his pant leg and he was off into the sky, soaring through the air while desperately hanging onto All Might.
"HEY, HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Came All Might's immediate question as Izuku hung from his leg as they flew across the skies. "I LOVE MY FANS AND ALL BUT THIS IS A BIT MUCH, LET GO."

"I can't or I'll fall." Came Izuku's quick reply as he gripped tighter onto All Might's leg, the two of them soaring through the sky before he could faintly hear a good point before the two of them landed on top of a parking garage. Izuku quickly stepped away, moving back to look at All Might. Wide Green eyes focusing upon the Hero before him as he moved, sitting down to the side. "I-I wanted to ask you a question, All Might sir. Can I become the next Symbol of Peace?" Izuku would ask, his voice soft, hesitant. All Might's eyes would momentarily widen at the question, before he settled more firmly upon the side of the building. "YEAH KID, YOU DEFINITELY CAN, BUT IT'S A LOT OF WORK TO GET TO THAT POINT, BUT TO DO SO, ONE NEEDS TO BE A TRUE HERO." All Might's reply came before standing up, looking at Izuku. Bending his knees, he offered the kid another smile before he shot off once more, disappearing back into the sky and away.

Izuku would smile happily before leaving the building, making his way towards the edge of the roof and jumping off, immediately flames erupted from his feet and bottoms of his closed fists as he slowed his descent to the ground before landing lightly. With a wide smile, he slowly made his way forward before he suddenly heard several explosions scatter through the air. Quickly making his way forward, breaking out into a sharp sprint as he rounded the corner. A massive group of people blocked the way, pushing his way through he was greeted with the sight that he desperately didn't want to see, his Best Friend struggling within the same villain that had grabbed him earlier, his mind drifting back to the fact that he was more than likely the cause of this villain getting free. But that wasn't the worst part, the heroes were standing back, keeping the crowd away while Kacchan struggled for his life.

And that was the deciding moment for Izuku as he broke out into an even run, white flames running up his arms as he pulled back, focusing on the flames, condensing them. Slowly they turned golden, hardening considerably around his arms as he reared his fist back before flinging it forward, the flames impacting into the sludge villains body before they arced out spearing through and around as golden lassos of solid flame, before quickly grabbing Katsuki before he yanked his arm back, his best friend springing free in an explosion of goop as he jumped backwards, more golden flames sprouting form his back and slamming into the ground, stabilizing him before he heard it.
"I AM HERE!" Before All Might just appeared, a loud not again being heard from the sludge villain before All Might Shouted, swinging his fist upwards. "DETROIT SMASH!" Before wind pressure seemed to sweep through the area, arcing up and shattering any form of solidity the villain seemed to hold. With his fist still held high in the air the sky began to weep, dumping rain down upon them. "With a punch, he changed the weather." A soft voice came somewhere behind him. Izuku quickly grabbed Katsuki before taking off while the crowd was distracted. The Two of them disappearing into a side alley as they made their escape, no need for Izuku to get slapped with illegal quirk usage and vigilantism just because the Heroes couldn't handle the situation.
