Liadan was sitting in a bush with a pair of binoculars.
"Take the bike out you bastard" Liadan said under her breath
The boy rolls out a bike.
"My my my this looks a lot like Little Tommy Turnball bike. You know the one you said you would never saw." Said Liadan stepping out of her hiding spot.
"Oh um what when you explained it I just decided I wanted one" Said the boy
"with the same personal engraving that I didn't tell you about. Wow. I would just give up and return it." Said Liadan
He attempted to escape but Liadan slipped a stick into the back wheel. He fell off the front. She took out the stick and wrote it away.
"You're welcome" Said Liadan delivering the recovered bicycle.
"you found it." Said The boy that answered the door. he looked around and then handed her an envelope.
"This is yours" he said handing it off. She Took the envelope popped a candy cigarette into her mouth and started counting the money. It was one $20 bill.
"Ok it all here. Thanks" Said Liadan
She then walked off. Her phone rang and she answered it.
"Liadan investigations" Said the detective
"It is locust your sister. Lupa is acting weird again. She is being nice to Lisa. Oh and Lisa is young for some reason. I don't trust Lupa. just thought you should know." Said The survivalist
"Ok I will look into it." Said Liadan
"oh and A new season of wasteland detective is coming out soon." Said locus
"good I'd like to see what happens next. That cliffhanger is annoying." Said Liadan
"I know." Said Locus
Liadan walked home she found Lupa in her room. Lupa was writing in a book and Liadan knocked on the door so She hid the book away and got up to answer it.
" oh it's the flatfoot what do you want?" Said Lupa
Liadan pushed past Lupa and grabbed the book and ran off. After losing Lupa she cracked it open. There was a pencil in the book marking what she was working on.
'Deep below lies a villain. Brown hair and family blood. Like the villain you truly are you have stolen what is most important.'
Did Lisa steal something? Liadan wondered. Then Lupa grabbed the book out of Liadan's hands.
"So what did Lisa steal?" Said Liadan
Lupa turned bright red and flustered. " she didn't take nothing" she stammered
"This poem says" Liadan trailed off realizing how stupid she was. "Lupa are you in love with Lisa?"
"No um no oh" Said Lupa flustered
"Lupa we have crossed wits so many times I can tell when you're lying. And you're normally much better than this." Said Liadan
"I don't really know. There's just something about this new Lisa. I liked her before but you know as a mentor but this new Lisa is cute. I don't know." Said Lupa
"I think you have a crush. I need to edit the sexuality part of your file. I had you down for soft boys that you can dominate. But nerdy girls seem to be your type two." Said Liadan
"I don't know maybe it is just Lisa." Said Lupa
"Ok miss Lisa Philic" Said Liadan teasing.
