Boys: Brick, Caleb, Chase, Ripper, Rodney, Sam, Scott, Topher

Girls: Anne Maria, Eva, Gwen, Heather, Izzy, Jasmine, Millie, MK, Sky

Episode 1: Walk Like an Egyptian - Part 1

"Season three of Total Drama, folks!" Chris McLean opened excitedly. Judging by the building and airplane stationed far behind him, the host was standing in the middle of an airport and the sky above was a beautiful blue. "The world is gonna be mine. Sea to shining sea!" He then turned to the side as a sputtering engine was heard off-screen.

"Sadly," he said as the shot zoomed out as a bus pulled up along the road behind him, "I'm forced to share my world with a three-ring traveling teen freak show." The bus door opened, and the camera cut back to Chris' close-up. "They'll be competing all around the globe for another million dollars," he announced. "So, let's meet our players!" The camera cut back to the front of the bus as the cast began to walk by.

"Brick!" The Cadet came out first, grinning at the camera and saluting and wearing a blue backpack in addition to his usual clothes. "Scott!" The Devious Farmer was next, smirking at the camera and wearing a pack that was identical to Brick's. "Eva!" Third was The Muscle Woman, and she was giving the camera a stone-faced look as she walked past. Her hands were on the straps of her backpack, the same style as those before her but red in color. "MK!" The Techno Girl too wore a red backpack, and was smiling coolly as she looked at the camera. "Jasmine!" Fifth was The Outback Girl, the tall girl wearing a confident smile as she walked past and waved at the camera with a red bag.

The camera cut back to Scott and Eva as the farmer suddenly stopped, causing the strong girl to bump into him.

"I hope there are reserved seats," Eva grumbled with a glare, "cause I do not want to sit behind Scott's spiky hair."

"Like I'd want to sit behind or in front of your ponytail, Eva," Scott shot back.

"You're lucky that I've learned to handle my aggression, or I'd be twisting your arm over your head," Eva replied.

"Right…" Scott said quietly and looked away.

The camera panned over to MK as she sighed in amusement. "I am loving this season already."

"Ripper!" Chris announced from next to the bus door as The Bully stepped off the bus and winked at the camera.

"Sky, Chase, aaaand Millie!" Chris continued as the three stepped off the bus one-by-one.

"Time to not let my third chance go to waste," The Athlete said in a determined tone before she sprinted off.

"A million dollars to fund my future beach house, here I come!" The Daredevil said as he walked away.

The voice of the Author continued after that. "What are your thoughts about coming back to compete for the first time since Island, Gwen?"

"Bored, uninterested, and extremely annoyed," The Goth's voice could be heard from inside the bus before she stepped out. "But I don't suppose that I have a choice in the manner, so I'll just accept my position here."

"And returning favorites," Chirs announced, "Gwen, Rodney!" As Gwen walked away, The Country Boy began to step off the bus. "Aaaannd..." the host continued as the camera's focus moved to him.

"I got the high score!" the familiar and husky voice of The Gamer said, earning a look from Chris before the camera cut to Sam playing on his GameGuy while stepping off the bus. "Now to put this away before it gets confiscated and get a chance to admire sights I've never seen before," he said as he stuffed his GameGuy into his bag. "Where's the plane?"

"I know, right?" the hyper voice of The Wild Child cried out. "Let's fly!" In her excitement, she jumped onto Sam's shoulders.

"Watch out!" Sam yelled as he tried to keep his balance, but Izzy's weight sent both of them tumbling down.

"Yup!" Chris told the camera. "Izzy's back! Also returning this season, Anne Maria," The Jersey Girl stepped out blowing a kiss to the camera, "and her boyfriend, Topher." Anne Maria turned back and took The Fanboy's hand; they shared a kiss, but then Topher tried to take a step forward and tripped, adding both of them to the pile of bodies outside the bus.

"Um, I think you forgot to introduce me!" Sam spoke up from the bottom of the pile.

"And Sam...," Chris finally said. "And now to mix things up and keep it all fresh," he grinned, "we're adding two new competitors! He's an honor roll student with a college teacher for a mom and an amazing ability to make most species swoon over him, Caleb!"

The camera cut to The Hot Player as he stepped into the bus doorway with a charming smile. "I should be able to help here," Caleb offered, helping Izzy and Anne Maria to their feet, and both girls gasped upon laying their eyes on him.

"Wow-wee!" Izzy swooned.

"Hot!" Anne Maria swooned as well, only to snap herself out of her trance by smacking herself in the face. "But I do have a boyfriend!"

"And don't think I forgot you two!" Caleb held both hands to Sam and Topher, and they accepted his help, but with more awkwardness.

"Oh wow," Sam smiled.

"I'm not into guys!" Topher said loudly and quickly, making them look at him confused. "I mean, my eyes are only on my girlfriend," he covered up embarrassingly.

The scene cut back to Chris. "And she's a rich, popular high school girl who can and will take control of any situation that she's in, Heather!"

The Queen Bee stepped off the bus wearing black sunglasses and a frown on her face. She removed them in order to give an irritated look at her surroundings and stomped over to the contestants, stopping next to Ripper.

"Hello gorgeous," Ripper flirted with the Asian girl. "We've just met, but I'll be sure-"

"Drop dead, you skeeze," Heather shoved the burly boy away from him, causing him to feel dejected. "I'm never going to fall for dopes like you!"

The sudden sound of a squeaky wheel and sputtering engine caused everybody to turn around. The camera showed several close-ups of the Total Drama Jumbo Jet. First the grungy and patched-together triple-wheeled undercarriage landing gear. Next, the engines on the right wing, the one with a bird nest in front giving off a short burst of smoke. Then a closer shot of the top half of the plane as it passed the camera, Chef Hatchet visible through the cockpit window wearing a pilot's uniform. And lastly the Chris McLean logo on the side of the jet as the wheels screeched below.

"What?" Rodney asked.

"Excuse me," Jasmine spoke up, "but I'm having concerns about whether or not our plane is safe."

"Relax!" Chris told her. "It's perfectly safe!"

Naturally, it was then that a panel on the side of the plane fell off, a rat and a raccoon clinging to the piece of metal as it clattered to the ground then running off. "Now boarding!" Chris declared.

"Is that duct tape on the engines?" Brick asked.

"I'm more worried about the plywood," Sky commented.

"That's to cover a minor design flaw," Chris told them.

"And how minor?" Chase asked.

"If something gets into that exhaust pipe, then the whole plane will blow up," Chris answered nonchalantly. "Any objections?"

"YES!" Seventeen voices yelled at once.

"Perfect!" Chris said with a grin. "Now boarding! On a voyage to a million big ones!" He turned to the camera. "We're saving you a first class seat for all the action. Right here, on Total! Drama! Woooorrrrlllddd~ Tooouuurrrr~!" He sang the last two words and a grand little jingle played as the camera zoomed out to show the full cast as well as the jumbo jet.

"Seriously?" MK asked in disbelief.

(Theme Song)

[The sequence opens with a tilted shot of a stagelight swinging up and turning on in front of an airport control tower, followed by another light popping out of an overhead compartment along with a pair of oxygen masks; then a camera forcibly ejecting a raccoon from a wing engine and another camera bursting out of a suitcase, sending undergarments flying. A pair of white-skinned arms clap a film slate in front of the camera, which then flies down the aisle of first class seats. It passes a drink cart, then forces Chris to jump to the side as the camera flies into the cockpit.]

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine

[Chef is piloting the plane in the cockpit, bobbleheads of himself and the host sitting on the control panel. For a single frame, he turns his head and glares at the camera before it passes through the windshield and out onto the runway, the silhouette of the CN Tower visible in the distance as the camera flies over and through several baggage carts.]

You guys are on my mind

[Fading through the whiteness of a baggage cart, the camera emerges close to the CN Tower. The camera flies up along it, the sun shining bright at its peak. The scene arcs downward towards a lake, and speeds forward into it with a splash.]

You asked me what I wanted to be

[The bubbles from the splash fade to show Sam floating underwater in his bathing suit, trying to pull a gold chain out from under a rock. The chain breaks and he tumbles backwards, and the camera pans up to the surface.]

And now I think the answer is plain to see

[On the roof of the cabin of a boat woven from reeds, Ripper flexes his arms and wags his eyebrows at the camera. A seagull promptly lands on his head and it causes him to fall off the boat woven.]

I wanna be...famous

[The camera pans down and to the right to where Chase and Millie are frantically paddling the boat as crocodiles leap out of the water on either side and snap their jaws. The boat leaves the screen, and on 'be', one of the reptiles winces; the camera moves back to the boat, revealing that it had crashed into an inflatable raft which Gwen was on. The raft begins to sink, and while Gwen remains disturbed, Chase and Millie each grab one of her hands and pull her on board their boat.]

I wanna live close to the sun

[The camera flashes to the Statue of Liberty, immediately cutting to the top of its head as Anne Maria helps Topher climb to the top. He gives her a grateful smile.]

Well pack your bags, 'cause I've already won

[The couple stops with shock on their faces as Scott suddenly runs past, pushing MK in a baby carriage. The techno girl's eyes widen in alarm as the devious farmer blindly pushes the carriage straight into Eva, who was doing squats in their path. The carriage flips over, leaving Scott to be lying on top of Eva and sending MK over the edge of the statue.]

Everything to prove

[The camera quick-pans to Caleb looking up into the sky with a concerned look on his face in a frozen setting. He holds his arms out and MK lands on them. The hot player winks and smiles at the techno girl, who sends him a happy and touched smile back.]

Nothin' in my way

I'll get there one day

[Another pan to the right shows Heather with a compact mirror in her hand and doing her make-up. Her eyes widen in alarm as she spots something in the reflection, and then she runs away. The camera pans to a polar bear glaring at the queen bee... which reveals itself to be Izzy wearing a costume when the wild child takes off the head to laugh to herself.]

'Cause I wanna be...famous

[The camera zooms out to show a baby seal snarling at the wild child, who gives it a confused look until it attacks her and causes her to run away. The camera zooms in on the glacial background, and flashes over to Jasmine and Rodney surfing a rather large wave. The country boy tries to wave to the camera, but he crashes into the Outback girl, sending both into the water.]

(Na nananana nanananana nananananana)

[Brick and Sky were next, taking over-exaggerated steps along a certain British crosswalk as the Total Drama Jumbo Jet suddenly flew down the road, forcing both teens to duck in terror as the plane blew cars and trees past them. The scene changes again, now showing the entire cast in a human pyramid on top of the jet wearing parachute packs, singing the lyrics, and kicking their legs to the beat. On the bottom are Topher, Gwen, Ripper, Millie, Eva, and Rodney. The second row consists of Anne Maria, Scott, Izzy, Sam, and Sky. The third row is MK, Brick, Chase, and Jasmine; while on top are Caleb and Heather.]

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous (Na nananana nanananana nananananana)

[The jet flies right past Big Ben, causing one face of its clock to spring off; the jet flies over the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, startling a very French mime into dropping a croissant; the jet flies past a rock balancing on a stone pillar, causing the rock to fall off and land in front of the camera with a cloud of dust.]

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous (Na nananana nanananana nananananana)

[The dust clears to show Caleb and Heather in close-up on top of the human pyramid, with the queen bee suspiciously eyeing the hot player. The camera then pans down to Anne Maria and Scott as they frown at each other, then down again to Rodney as a bird flies into his face, causing him to frown.]

[The lyrics end as the scene cuts to Chef Hatchet in the cockpit, looking above him with a scowl on his face. A guitar is strummed as the hulking pilot looks forward and turns the plane sharply to the left, and the last few whistling notes play as, back outside, the cast falls through the open air. Most soon deploy their parachutes and float down safely, the camera panning down as the majority of the cast are lined up and smiling at the camera. From left to right are Caleb, Millie, Chase, Sam, Anne Maria, Topher, Izzy, Gwen, Eva, Heather, Scott, Ripper, and Jasmine. Rodney is sitting on his butt in front of Izzy, Gwen, and Eva, Brick had landed on his stomach in front of Caleb, Millie, and Chase, and Sky had landed on her butt in front of Sam. The jet speeds in for a landing behind them as the song ends, the logo for 'Total Drama World Tour' on its side. Only then does MK finally land flat on her face in the middle of the group.]

The scene faded back in to Chris leading the cast into what looked like an eating area. "Singing? Really?" Gwen wondered aloud. "I thought Chris was joking about that."

"I don't have a problem with it," Anne Maria said.

"That's because you actually like singing," Topher told her.

"Well I don't!" MK interjected. "I chose marketing class over chorus in school, and learning how to manage businesses is much better than harming your vocal cords!"

"As long as I can armpit serenade while singing, I'm cool with it," Ripper added.

"I'm not even gonna stop you, Rip Van Winkle!" MK shot at the boy. "But for me, no singing!"

"Why are you doing this to us after all that we've been through for two seasons?" Eva asked in a deadpan tone.

"Singing reality shows are huge," Chris explained. "And! The worse the singing, the higher the ratings! Which is why on this show," the camera began to pan across the mostly-nervous faces of the cast, "there will be no vocal coaches, or rehearsals, or warning!" The cast immediately began to complain.

"Anywho," the host continued over the annoyed murmur, "this is the dining area, where you'll enjoy in-flight meals!" He presented one of the tables behind him, the seats of which seemed to be a combination of crates and trash cans.

"As long as the food isn't like what we were served on the island, I'll be accepting of our meals," Rodney smiled.

"Third time's the charm for most of us here," Jasmine said to him.

"I'll make sure to remember those words," Chris said teasingly. "Now to finish the tour so we can get this bird in flight."

"Is there a men's room?" Ripper asked.

"Just through there," Chris said with a smile.

"Cool," Ripper said as he walked past, "'cause I gotta pee super badly."

Confessional: Ripper

After a bit of static, Ripper was shown walking into a small and slightly dirty restroom through a camera behind the sink. He went to take off his shorts, only to notice the camera.

"A camera in the potty?" he asked, leaning forward against the sink. "Again? Seriously?! I thought the show was past putting cameras everywhere we go since we were going to be on a plane, but I thought wrong apparently," he said while crossing his arms.

Confessional: Gwen

"Why am I not surprised by the show doing unprofessional stuff like recording us in the can?" Gwen rolled her eyes. "There really is no privacy around here."

Confessionals End

The footage cut back to Chris, his back to the camera, addressing the contestants in another open room with what looked like a clothesline hanging between two rows of overhead compartments. "Losing teams will enjoy luxurious economy class accommodations between destinations," he said as the shot pulled back to show the room had no seats, only benches along the walls on both sides; it also had a small drip of water coming down on the right.

"Uh," Brick said with a quick glance around, "where are our beds at?"

"I've already set up a little demonstration for that," Chris told him, directing everyone's attention to the right. The camera panned to follow, stopping on what looked like a balloon version of Chef Hatchet strapped to the wall. It had a sleeping mask over its eyes.

"Oh," Sky said with a blank look, "how...uncomfortable."

"No comfort for losers," Chris said. "Safety harnesses and an emergency exit," he added. "But! No comfort here, here, or here."

"I can take it," Chase said confidently. "Not that I'm gonna lose of course."

"Me neither!" Izzy declared.

"These people are so ridiculous," Heather muttered with a roll of her eyes before speaking up. "Just show us where the winners are going to be sleeping so I can be motivated."

The scene flashed to the host standing in the aisle of a much fancier room, filled with actual seats and even a meeting table; a downplayed but elegant score began to play in the background. "This," Chris said as the camera panned to the left and showed the contestants enjoying themselves, "is the first class cabin. The domain of each week's winners."

The pan stopped on Caleb and Anne Maria, who were standing by the last row of seats next to a mini-bar. Sky was watching them from a seat nearby, as were Topher and Rodney from down the aisle.

"Now this is what I like to call a view," Caleb mused.

"It's better than the other ones," Anne Maria said with a smile his way. "A guy like you definitely deserves this."

"That guy is super charismatic, don't you think?" Rodney commented to Topher.

"Oh, he sure is," Topher said.

"Are you not bothered at all by Caleb talking to Anne Maria?" Rodney wondered. "I'd probably be if I was dating her."

"Caleb is my band's roadie, Rodney," Topher explained. "He already knows that me and Anne Maria are an item. There's no way he'll try and steal my girlfriend from me."

"That's a good instinct for you to have," Rodney said.

"Talk to me when you have a girlfriend," Topher said, making Rodney frown a bit.

The camera cut back to Anne Maria and Caleb. "Hopefully me and Topher will be on the same team so that we can enjoy these accommodations together," Anne Maria hoped.

"Or at the very best, all three of us are," Caleb said. "I know Topher, but I'd like to get to know you a bit more other than being the runner-up of last season."

"So do I," Anne Maria said back.

The camera zoomed over to Sky in the seat nearby, who was listening in on the conversation the whole time.

Confessional: Sky

"I don't trust the new guy," Sky began. "He seems like the type of person to use his looks in order to get what he wants, and I know that from experience thanks to Justin and a few other boys that attend my school."

"Trent got eliminated because of Justin last time, and just because both of them are not here anymore, doesn't mean I can't assume that the same thing would happen to someone close to me because of Caleb."

Confessional Ends

"Whoa, where are we now?" Sam asked as the footage cut back to him standing in awe with his back to an entertainment system. "There's a grand piano," he added as the camera quick-panned to a grand piano, "a fancy oven," the shot cut to a close-up of a roaring fire in a cast iron wood-burning pizza oven, "and a pretty awesome hot tub too!" The shot pulled back from the oven to show a large hot tub set up next to it with lights around the edge and swirling waters.

Ripper smiled as he walked up to the pool. "You gotta tell me how to win this. I love rockin' the hot tubs."

Chris walked up behind him with a frown on his face. "Easy, tiger," he told the bully. "These are my quarters. And they're off limits," he said sternly. "Clear?"

"Crystal," Ripper said when faced by the host's stern look.

"Yes," Heather chimed in sweetly. "We'll have no trouble respecting your privacy." Chris just raised an eyebrow at her.

Confessional: Scott

"Yup," Scott said in the bathroom confessional. "I can see right through the new girl's nice act. I know people aren't going to believe me when I say she's trouble, but I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on her. That way, I can have undeniable proof that nobody will doubt."

Confessional Ends

The scene cut back to the dining area, the seventeen contestants seated at or around the two tables. "And that's pretty much it," Chris told the group, and as he spoke the high-pitched sound of the jet engines built up around them. "I skipped the cargo hold and galley, but I'm sure you'll find those exciting destinations later, when I 'accidentally' lock you in them."

The craft suddenly shook, knocking MK into Caleb. "Oh! Sorry!" the small girl said with a sudden adoring smile as she leaned away from the hunk. "I don't normally say stuff like this, but I have never seen anybody as handsome as you."

"No worries," Caleb said with a smile. "Happens all the time."

"We're finally moving!" Izzy said and let out a cheer.

"One more thing," Chris announced. "I'm sure you remember a little something called the elimination ceremony?" The shot pulled back from his close-up. "Takes place right in there, my friends!"

The host and cast were now standing in another open room, Chris in particular next to an exit door that was flanked by giant wooden heads. "If you don't receive a barf bag full of airline-issue peanuts, you will be forced to take the Drop of Shame!"

"Will we be receiving parachutes?" Eva asked. "I'm asking because it would be extremely unethical for you to have us jump to our deaths."

"Chillax," Chris assured the contestants. "We will give every eliminated contestant a parachute before they go. I don't want any lawsuits from your parents."

Confessional: Millie

"I have an allergy to peanuts, so I'm not on board with the barf bags," Millie confessed. "Then again, Chris could've given us actual bags with barf inside." She shuddered visibly.

Confessional Ends

The scene cut to a world map, an airplane symbol 'flying' from northeastern Canada towards Africa. As it flew, the real jet's engines were roaring.

Once again, the scene cut back to the dining area. The cast were in the same seats they'd been in prior to the elimination exit.

"How come you aren't panicking about us being cramped inside a jet all season?" Sky asked Jasmine as the shot zoomed closer to them. "Don't you have claustrophobia?"

"I do, but since I knew that we were going to be on a jet, I took some self-breathing techniques in order to calm myself down and not have a panic attack," Jasmine explained.

"Nice," Sky smiled. "It's a good thing I'm not surrounded by my fear a hundred percent of the time, especially since-"

It was then that a small musical note logo twirled onto the lower right corner of the screen, accompanied by two quick rings of a bell. The cast looked to the left, and the camera cut to Chris leaning coolly in the passageway out of the dining hall. He was wearing a dapper, if old-fashioned, suit, complete with bowler hat and baton. A short show tune played as he stood up straight, removed his hat, and struck a wide-legged pose with his feet turned inward.

"Whenever you hear that friendly little bell," he told the cast, "it's musical number time!" He raised his hat and baton into the air in another cheery pose, then stood straight again and put both items behind his back. "So!" he smiled devilishly. "Let's hear it!"

Anne Maria's face immediately lit up. "What would you like us to sing?"

"You have to make it up as you go," Chris explained. "Wouldn't be challenging otherwise, now would it?"

A single blaring note accompanied Anne Maria's opening line, the Jersey girl standing up. "Up~"

"Up~" Izzy joined in, frowning unlike the girl to her right.

"Up~" Jasmine added her voice to the two before her, uncertainty on her face.

"Up~!" Sky repeated with the other three girls, as uncertain as the previous two.

"Sing~" Ripper sung, unhappiness on his face.

"Sing~" Sam nervously added his voice to Ripper's.

"Sing~" Caleb joined in with a calm expression.

"Sing~!" Chase sung uncertainly as the boys repeated their line.

"We're flying!" Anne Maria, Izzy, Jasmine, and Sky sung, joined by an anxious-looking Heather, Millie, and Eva in the back row; all seven girls rising up from between the tables.

"And singing!" Ripper, Sam, Caleb, and Chase added, with a nervous Scott, Rodney, Topher, and Brick adding their voices in the guys' back row; all eight rose up in front of the girls.

"We're flying and we're singing!" the fifteen castmates sung over an aerial view of the jet as it passed over a winding river, the camera zooming in and rotating so the plane was now soaring against the sunny sky; the music made a hectic transition along with the shot.

"Come fly with us!" Millie sang in the first class seating, doing a tango dance with Chase.

"Come fly with us!" Chase joined in as he dipped Millie.

"We've got a lot of crazy tunes to bust! Ha ha!" Izzy broke out of a luggage compartment and got out, the music getting replaced with a hip-hop rendition.

"Come fly with us!" Eva sang in another part of first class, standing on a couch as she did so.

"Come fly with us!" Jasmine added her voice to the muscle woman's as she stood on a recliner across the aisle.

"Let me help you two! In me, you can trust!" Caleb sang, sliding out from behind Jasmine's recliner. He held out his hands and helped the girls get down. The camera cut to the blushing face of Jasmine and the unimpressed face of Eva.

"This is so wild. We're singing in a plane," MK said back in the dining hall.

"Like it's a surprise! Chris is really insane!" Ripper told her.

"Yeah, but guys! You're singing on TV!" Gwen said, standing on the opposite side of the table MK and Ripper were at.

"Wherever I go, singing doesn't bother meeeeeeee~!" Anne Maria sung as she leapt onto the scene, performed a few cheerleader kicks, and cart wheeled off the screen.

"Come fly with us!" Rodney sang, snapping his fingers and dancing in front of the first class minibar to a more jazzy rendition of the music. To the right of him, Topher was also dancing, but more vapidly and like he was at a party.

"Come fly with us!" Topher joined his voice with the country boy as a bit of turbulence shook the plane.

"Do you know how to steer this thing?" Heather asked frantically in the cockpit, clutching to the copilot's seat.

"I tried," Chef said with a laid-back shrug, hands behind his head and legs lifted up. The music briefly cut out as the camera pulled back outside the plane; the camera rotated and zoomed back in on the rear side door as the music resumed at a slower pace.

"Even though I do not like singing," Brick sung, a spotlight shining on an open piece of luggage in what was presumably the cargo hold as Brick rose from it. "That will never stop me winning this thing!"

The music promptly resumed its former pace as the scene cut from the stowaway to a smoking wing engine.

"Come fly with us! Come die with us!" Scott sang, the camera panning right after the first line to show him watching with fear out the nearest window.

"I really hope that this plane doesn't bust!" Sky added, the camera panning right even further to show her also looking out a window in alarm.

"Come fly with us!" a number of voices sang together, the show tune becoming more upbeat despite the camera focusing on Gwen and MK sulking back-to-back in the dining hall.

"Come sing with us!" the voices continued, the camera pulling as the four singers revealed themselves as Heather, Izzy, Rodney, and Topher.

"NO!" the goth and techno girl said forcefully just as the music cut down to a simmer and the four singers ducked back down to be replaced by Chris.

"Would anyone care for a copy of the season three rules?" he asked with a grin, holding up a stack of papers. "Because in order to escape instant elimination..." Chris was cut off by Sam as the gamer walked up behind him and snatched away the rules.

"All contestants must sing in each show!" Sam sang to a lighter part of the tune, his back to the glaring host.

"So long, MK! It won't be a shame!" Chase told MK with a taunting smirk.

"Come on, Gwen! Get your head in the game~" Millie begged Gwen.

"I don't want to go home," Gwen said to herself before reluctantly getting on her feet.

"Come fly with us, come fly with us," Gwen sang by herself, watched by Brick, Anne Maria, and Millie on one side; MK, Chase, Scott and Caleb on the other. "Come, and fly, with us~!" she kicked a few times, then got on her knees as she finished her part.

"Keep not singing and you're gone," Chase teased, and MK pursed her lips for a moment before finally opening them and closing her eyes.

"This is laaaaaaammme~!" she sang grudgingly, the camera slowly pulling back to show the majority of the cast now standing around her: Gwen and Sky in the back row; Jasmine, Caleb, Scott, Chase, Ripper, Rodney, Brick, and Anne Maria in the middle row; Eva sitting down, Topher on his knees, and Millie on one knee. To the left of MK in the front row; Izzy and Sam on one knee and Heather lying half on her side.

"Yeah!" the cast minus MK said as one, doing jazz hands as well.

The music ended, and the camera followed the cast's gaze over to Chris, who was reading a newspaper. A ding signaled the in-flight intercom coming on, and the host looked up as Chef began to talk. "Enough singin', fruitcakes!" he said, a loudspeaker on the wall shaking with every word. "Strap yourselves in! We are now beginnin' our descent into Egypt." He continued in what sounded like an under-his-breath tone. "Musical numbers. Worst idea ever. Chris is such an idiot." The host gasped. "Hey, why's the PA light still on?" Chef asked. "Aww, sh-" A screeching feedback of the intercom turning off signaled that Chef had finally cut himself off.

"We'll be right back," Chris told the camera, his face scrunched up in annoyance.

(Commercial Break)

The episode resumed with the jumbo jet having already landed on a runway in the Egyptian desert, the cast assembled out front and a great stone pyramid behind them in the distance.

"You guys ready for a little fun? Huh?" Chris asked as he entered the scene dressed as a Pharaoh, sipping some cold drink and getting carried in on a leaf-shaded sedan chair by two white-skinned men in stereotypical ancient Egyptian garb. "Wow, it's a scorcher out here huh?" he added before taking a sip of his drink through a bendy straw. "I call today's challenge 'Pyramid Over-Under'!" The nearby pyramid was shown as he named the challenge.

"An eleven hour flight," Eva complained, "Chef's terrible cooking, a musical number, and now a challenge?"

"Don't you love this game?" Chirs asked with a grin, the litter now on the ground as one of his 'servants' fanned him with the leaf.

The scene flashed forward to the seventeen present contestants lined up in two rows at a starting line: Topher, Izzy, Ripper, Heather, Rodney, Eva, Millie, and Chase in the front; MK, Sam, Gwen, Brick, Caleb, Anne Maria, Sky, Scott, and Jasmine in back.

The camera cut to a close-up of Chase, who seemed to be suffering in the sizzling heat. "It's like we're being cooked inside a giant oven," he panted, sweat dripping off his face.

"I told you to cool your hoodie before we came into the season," Millie told him.

Chase stared at her. "I thought we'd land in Antarctica first," he said in defense. "I was planning to take a sample of snow and lay my hoodie around it."

Chris suddenly banged two large cymbals together. "Man!" the host said with his typical smile. "That's satisfying. Alright! 'Pyramid Over-Under' means you choose how you'll get to the finish line. Either over or under the pyramid. Got it?" Those on the right end nodded.

"Ready!" the host shouted as the contestants got into running positions. "Set!" He raised the cymbals. "Go!" He banged them together and the cast started running. Many of them were shown running into the pyramid.

The scene flashed inside, the camera looking into a room from the doorway – various things lined either wall, and there were three doorways out the other end.

"Oh great!" Eva griped. "Chris forgot to mention there were different paths!"

The perspective inverted, showing some of the contestants who'd chosen 'under': Millie in front; Eva and Chase and Gwen behind her on the left; Jasmine and Izzy and Ripper looking out from the right.

"Hey Brick, Jasmine," Heather asked from behind the group. "Which way do you think we should go?"

"Why are you asking us, Heather?" Brick felt confused alongside Jasmine. "We do have leadership skills, but we've never been to Egypt before."

"How do we know which way's right?" Ripper pondered.

"I know!" Izzy got excited. "Okay, I saw this in a spy movie once. You lick your finger and hold it up to find the air flow!" She proceeded to do so. "The sand really crunches in your teeth. Fun! Okay, Chase, give me your hand."

"Don't listen to Izzy here," Gwen said. "You don't want to catch a case of her craziness. Come with me if you want to prevent that." She headed off, and Millie and Chase followed also into the first door.

"Let's take the scary mummy door!" Izzy offered to Eva and Ripper while pointing to a door that had a symbol of a mummy. "Go Team E-Scope!"

Confessional: Eva

"I remember the last time I teamed up with Izzy and Ripper," Eva confessed. "It was when we were trying to find the million dollar case on the island. While I can be annoyed by them, they are my friends, and I can't just leave them after my early elimination last season."

Another flash took the scene back outside the pyramid, the camera looking up at the sun blaring high above it's peak. A pan down the side put the focus on the trio of Anne Maria, Sky, and Topher standing at the base.

"Is it too late to go under instead?" Sky asked while wiping off sweat.

"Caleb's doing okay," Anne Maria pointed out. The camera quick panned to show Caleb effortlessly jumping for one outcropping to another. "He's got all his work cut out for him."

"That's a guy who doesn't skip leg day," Topher complimented as Caleb leaped down to where the three were standing.

"Want me to help you guys out!" Caleb held his arms out, and Topher and Anne Maria grabbed one each before being pulled up.

"You forgot about me!" Sky said. "Just pointing out."

Confessional: Anne Maria

"I know Caleb is a lot of things," Anne Maria opened up to the viewers. "Charismatic, cute, and charming. He's a sight for sore eyes, and I'm glad that the Drama Brothers have him as a roadie. But I can't be flirting with him when I already have a boy."

Confessional Ends

"Do you need someone to partner up with?" Scott questioned Sky as he walked up to her alongside MK. "Just stick by our side."

"You and MK?" Sky eyed the both of them.

"We aren't the best of amigos, but we are some of the strongest players in the game," Scott made his point.

"Yeah," MK agreed. "You're fast, I'm smart, and Scott's got whatever he's got."

"I can do this by myself," Sky told them. "I just have to plan out how I'll jump and land."

"We can help you get there," MK pointed out. "Three heads are better than one."

"If it stops you two from trying to bribe me, then fine," Sky groaned. "I'll join up with you two."

"That's good to hear," Scott said in satisfaction.

The scene switched to Izzy's group encountering a pile of bandages. "Oh, look. We're in a nurse's office!" Izzy pointed out.

"It's a pyramid, not a high school," Ripper gruffly told her.

That didn't stop Izzy from grabbing the bandages. "Costume party! Mummy me!" She ordered her group.

The camera flashed back outside to the peak of the pyramid, where a sign had been set up warning of the fact that it was, quite literally, all downhill from there.

As Caleb, Topher, and Anne Maria got to the checkpoint, the camera panned down to show an exhausted Rodney. "I'm almost there!" he cheered as he continued. He unknowingly startled a scorpion, which stung him and caused him to hold the injured hand. This in turn caused him to lose his grip on the pyramid and fall down to the ground, hitting each terrace as he did so.

A close-up of an odd-looking floor tile back inside was shown next, and Jasmine's foot stepped on it. The shot rapidly pulled out to show Heather gasp then quickly force her and Brick down as several spears shot out of the walls.

"Sorry 'bout that, Heather," Jasmine apologized as they all stood up.

Heather gritted her teeth in frustration, but kept her cool in order not to lash out. "Honest mistake. Could've happened to anybody."

Meanwhile, Sky, Scott, and MK were climbing the pyramid. "The reason I'm not keen on working with you two is because one of you formed a voting bloc to get my boyfriend eliminated and the other did the same, only that the target was me," Sky was in the middle of explaining.

"Uh, we're the villains, goody goody," MK scoffed. "It's what we do. Sabotage and manipulate people."

"And I don't even have anything against you and Trent," Scott told the athlete. "He caused problems for me on the island, and I simply got back at him."

"Just don't expect me to trust you two anytime soon," Sky said. "This game is brutal, sure, but I still don't want to cheat just for cash."

"And this is coming from the girl who was outranked by the villains both times," MK muttered, causing Sky to send her an annoyed look.

Chase, Millie, and Gwen were shown next, running through the pyramid past a shelf of mummified animals; a penguin, a monkey, a dog, an octopus, and a cat judging by their shapes. The daredevil skidded to halt and turned back to get a closer look at them, prompting his companions to do so as well.

"Girls," Chase said. "These animals are real. I feel bad for them."

"Chase!" Gwen chided. "We do not have time to mope over a stuffed dog!"

"And do not touch it," Millie warned him. "These mummified animals will break by any contact, and you'll probably get cursed if you do so."

"Even though we weren't on their team, the Bass had an experience where they were cursed by a tiki doll, so I say listen to her," Gwen said.

Chase realized what she was talking about. "You're right. I just don't like to watch anyone suffering," he told them and the three took off again.

"Izzy!" Ripper called out as Eva watched. "Izzy!"

"She's lost," Eva said. "We've got to go."

"Man is this a bummer," Ripper facepalmed.

"This is her fault though," Eva pointed out. "She kept insisting we go in circles because she "smelled something lucky"."

"Oh, that might have been my fault," Ripper said sheepishly. "I ate some airplane food and got gassy."

"Well keep that gas to yourself," Eva warned him.

Another flash moved the focus to a close-up of a mummy icon at the top of a doorway, the camera panning down to show Sam alone.

"Hello? Anybody?" he asked before noticing a small button on the wall ahead of him. "An intercom? Is this thing on?"

He pressed the button, and a pile of bandages dropped onto him from the ceiling, along with an ornate-looking ankh and crook.

"It's too steep for me to carry you guys," Caleb told Anne Maria and Topher as they were now standing at the peak of the pyramid.

"There must be a way," Anne Maria glanced around and noticed the sign on top. "Maybe this could help us!"

"I can carry all of you down," Rodney said as he reached the top, but got sent back down when Anne Maria took off the sign, crashing onto the steps all over again.

The next flash took the scene to a different location outside of the pyramid, the exit. Chase, Millie, and Gwen were the first ones out, running and panting all the way to the finish line where Chris was waiting for them.

"Good work guys!" Chris told them as they stopped to catch their breath.

"We're first?" Millie asked in happiness. "Yay!"

"Chase, go stand behind the number one," Chris started to direct. "Millie, number two. Gwen, you're number three."

"Why are you splitting us up like this?" Gwen got confused.

"As a homage to this being our third season, we'll be doing THREE teams!" Chris enforced, causing the three players to gasp.

Back inside the pyramid, Heather, Jasmine, and Brick were shown running from something and screaming. They were followed by an ominous shadow on the wall that was soon revealed to be cast by a shambling and barely-wrapped mummy.

As soon as it got to the center of the screen it paused then stuck an arm out to clear away the wrappings around its mouth.

"Guys guys guys!" Izzy's voice said from within the bandages. "How about another musical number?" She began her song. "A pyramid's just a triangle with room inside. I would be awesome as Frankenstein's bride!"

The camera cut to Eva and she said "Hey burly! I found the wacko," she said as she saw a wrapped-up person, unaware that it was Sam.

"Izzy!" Ripper perked up. "Say, you make for an awesome mummy," he stated, causing Sam to muffle a shout for help.

"That's not Izzy!" Eva realized with growing fear. "RUN!"

Back outside, Topher, Anne Maria, and Caleb surfed down the steps of the pyramid with a shout of joy, Unfortunately, Caleb fell off and his shirt got caught by one of the steps, making him shirtless. "I'd like a tan, but not when the sun is scorching hot!"

Caleb grabbed his shirt and put it on. After meeting up with Anne Maria and Topher, they ran to the finish line.

"I'm gonna let you in on a detail!" Chris told the three, sticking an arm out to stop them. "This season, three teams! Topher, go to team three. Anne Maria and Caleb, it's team two for you."

"That means I'll be separated," Topher griped.

"Sorry man," Caleb placed a hand on the fanboy's shoulder.

"We'll try and talk to you when there isn't a challenge going on," Anne Maria comforted.

"I guess I can try and manage," Topher said.

"Good luck with your team," Anne Maria waved before she and Caleb went to their respective teams and Topher stayed put.

"Hey Anne Maria," Millie greeted Anne Maria and Caleb as they came over to her. "Looks like we're teammates again."

"Sure is, doll," Anne Maria grinned.

"If it's any consolation," Chris told Topher, "you and Gwen do get...," a series of grunts and thuds got their attention, and the camera followed his gaze backwards to show Rodney tumbling down the pyramid in a rather painful and uncontrolled manner. He finally landed half-buried in the sand.

"Rodney?" Topher smiled. "Sure. I'll take him. He's pretty strong."

"Oh no! He's on team one!" Chris chuckled a bit. "But you do get...," he looked to the side, the shot cutting to the pyramid's exit where Ripper and Eva ran screaming out the structure all the way to the finish line. "Congratulations!"

"It could have been worse," Topher said.

Confessional: Topher

"Does it bother me that Anne Maria won't be on my team this time around?" Topher asked the camera. "It does, but I do need to demonstrate some individuality if I want my own show. Me and Anne Maria were mostly cooped up with each other last time, so branching off may be best for us."

Confessional Ends

Back at the pyramid's exit, Jasmine, Brick, and Heather were the next to exit the entrance and reach the finish line. "We made it!" Brick cheered. "And without setting off any more death traps!"

"I'm so happy I could scream," Heather grumbled.

"That's nice to hear," Chris announced. "Heather and Brick, you'll be on team one. And Jasmine, you'll be rounding out Team three."

"Don't worry, mates," Jasmine told the two. "I'll handle myself fine on another team."

"And me and Heather can still continue our alliance with you when the merge hits," Brick added.

"Yeah," Heather said half-heartedly. "That'll be great."

Confessional: Heather

"Do I really care about Jasmine and Brick? Of course not," Heather sniffed. "But I do need to act nice if I'd want some allies to help me with the votes, and when they're not of use, I'll dump them," she finished with a devious smile.

Confessional Ends

The scene immediately cut to the pyramid's top where MK, Scott, and Sky were standing. "How are we going to do this? We don't have a sign or something to make getting down the pyramid easier," Scott whined.

"Oh kiii~iids!" Chris said to them through a megaphone, and a familiar set of dings played. "Recognize that sound?" the host asked as the shot moved back to him. "Time for whoever's not finished yet to give us a little musical reprise!"

"You said one song per episode!" MK said in anger.

"Yeah," Chris told her, "and this is a reprise, not a new song! So if you don't sing, you're out! Now let's hear it!"

"You know what? No!" MK shouted and ran down the steps of the pyramid so that she could confront Chris. "Three hours of climbing this pyramid in this heat, and you want me to sing? Forget it!"

"Hey," Chris told her, "you have a contract."

"(BLEEP) THE CONTRACT!!! I'll be relaxing on the plane! I'm out! Done! I Q U I T!" MK then stormed off, and the camera cut to the shocked faces of Sky and Scott.

Sky soon returned back to normal. "Could you tell us the teams we'll be on?"

"Right," Chris said, still shocked by MK's outburst. "The two of you are with Anne Maria, Caleb, and Millie on team two."

Confessional: Scott

"Who knew MK had the guts to execute an outburst like that?" Scott said in the restroom confessional with a slight laugh. "She just earned my respect, though with her out of the game, who am I going to strategize with?"

Confessional Ends

Izzy made it out of the pyramid in her bandaged form, but was now carrying Sam, who was still covered in bandages.

"Izzy, you're carrying the undead!" Ripper warned the crazy girl.

"Cool!" Izzy cheered and set her eyes on her mummy. "Bite me and I can be your undead friend like Frankenstein."

Sam jumped out of Izzy's arms and got himself out of the bandages. "I am not a mummy! You guys made a mistake!" Sam told Izzy and her group mates.

"Izzy, go join team one," Chris instructed.

"And as for me?" Sam wondered and got in front of Chris.

Chris shoved the gamer a few feet back. "Go ahead and join team two."

"Cool!" Sam cheered before joining his team.

Confessional: Sam

"Being mistaken for a mummy isn't the most embarrassing thing that happened to me," Sam confessed. "The one time I had a date, I farted in front of her," he said with a blush on his face. "That tuna fish did not sit right with me."

Confessional Ends

The viewpoint shifted to show the three teams standing in an arc around the host – Eva, Gwen, Jasmine, Ripper, and Topher on the left; Anne Maria, Caleb, Millie, Sam, Scott, and Sky on the right; Brick, Chase, Heather, Izzy, and Rodney further back on the right.

"Okay teams," Chris said, "talk amongst yourselves and determine a team name. You have three minutes while I enjoy this ice cream cone," he held up said treat.

"Team Warrior!" the five members of the former Team Three cheered as one, the camera cutting to the yellowish sky above them as a circular logo spun into the screen with a ding; it depicted two yellow spears crossed to make an X.

"Team Super!" the group of six, formerly Team Two, announced, raising their hands together in the air, Anne Maria unintentionally kicking Sam in the groin by raising her leg, causing him to fall to his knees in pain. Another ding accompanied the appearance of their new logo, a blue fist.

Team One seemed to be having trouble coming to a decision, the camera panning across the first four as they muttered things like "Team Danger," "Team Powerful," "Team Greatness," and "Team ummmm," Finally, the shot came to a rest on Izzy who seemed to be deep in thought.

"Got it!" she finally announced with a smile. "Team Explosive!"

"What?" her teammates chorused as their logo appeared: a huge explosive cloud, colored red.

"All right!" Chris told them with his usual smile. "That's the best name of the three. I'm all about explosions. And here are your rewards," he added. "Team Explosive, you win a camel!" He pointed to the other side, and the camera cut to a camel and a goat standing on a wooden platform nearby.

Izzy clapped happily, while Heather looked annoyed and Rodney, Chase, and Brick looked confused.

"Team Super," Chris continued. "You win a goat!" The goat immediately rushed over to the team, forcing the team to step aside to avoid getting headbutted.

"And Team Warrior, here you go!" Chris finished, holding up a forked stick.

"Wait, we all got here first," Gwen asked in confusion, "so how come we only get a stick?"

"All will be explained," Chris said as the series' capstone theme started up, "if I feel like it. Next time! Right here! On Total!" the shot pulled back a little to show Team Super giving the goat uncertain looks. "Drama!" the next zoom-out included Team Explosive and the camel. "Woooorrrrlllddd~ Tooouuurrrr~!" he sang the final two words, the entire cast now included in the shot along with the setting sun and a smaller pyramid in the background.

Author's Note: And just like that, MK has quit the game. We figured she would not enjoy singing and given the crap she was already put through last season, we figured she might be sick of this show. Hope you enjoyed the first chapter and don't worry, we'll see more of MK in the aftermaths.
