"This is so fucking pathetic! She always starts shit and I'm the one who gets in trouble!" Angelita was on her way to the office. Dominic held her hand as they walked over there. He grabbed some napkins from the pocket of his backpack so she would wipe away her snot. Samuel was used to going there all the time so he joined them. "You know love, that's why you've got to have a shell around you, or simply not care. That's your issue. You put too much attention on small things." She stopped in the middle of the hall to look at him. "Samuel you need to stop being so emotionless sometimes. I swear you try to be so tough all the time." Dominic tugged on her backpack. "You also need to understand that Karen used to be good friends with us. You just don't get it since you moved not too long ago." Dominic signed to Samuel and he let out a sigh. "I get that she was someone you trusted and grew up with but people change and try to forget about things. Maybe you should do the same? Plus, you girls always make it more dramatic." He opened the door for them. "Oh shut up. You're only saying that because you're a guy." Angelita walked down the short hall to the last door. A woman with long red hair and glasses looked at her. "What did you do this time?" Angelita looked annoyed and Dominic also walked into the office. Samuel stood outside the door but still saw him and immediately alerted other staff members. She saw the neon paper Angelita was holding and asked, "What did you do?" Dominic shot her a nasty look then glanced at Samuel. "Good afternoon. How has your day been so far? Did you have a good weekend? How are your classes going? Do you need ANY HELP? Why don't you pretend to care with us like you do with everyone else?" The rocker spat out the questions and the assistant principal rolled her eyes. "Go ahead and take them, Cortez." Angelita and Dominic walked across to the next door.

She was talking in Spanish to the counselor to make sure that no one else hearing wouldn't try to make it seem like she was twisting her words. Samuel still listened in support knowing he had no idea what Angelita was saying. She then pointed at Samuel and mentioned Karen and Mal. Mr. Cortez then opened his computer and began to type out a Word Document. Angelita began crying which made Dominic worry. Samuel knew that she then started talking about her personal issues since he recognized words like "casa" and "abuelos" but then lost his focus. "Samuel. You need to get to class at this moment. I'm not going to give you a tardy pass." "Are you bloody kidding me? The bell already rang!" He was upset that he was immediately seen as a bystander in the situation and wanted to say his part in the drama. "You're just standing here wasting time over something that doesn't even involve you." The AP then put her hand near his back to gesture him to leave. "Oh don't touch me! You don't even try to ask me why I'm actually here! You just assume I'm up to no good then make it worse!" Angelita stopped talking to look back at the two. Samuel looked at her and she was a mess. Mr. Cortez nodded at Dominic and he stood up. "Dominic will be returning to class but Samuel will need to stay here. I'll email his teacher." The AP mumbled and walked off. Samuel patted Dominic's back and the blue-haired boy was headed to his class.

"That's some total bullshit. She said that to her?" Dominic was talking to the Flinders siblings. Baran and Selinda were both in a credit recovery course along with Dominic and Seymour. Selinda sat back in her chair and looked at her brother. "I thought it was weird when she didn't go up with Karen's group, but I didn't know all that happened. That's insane." Baran scoffed as he ate his bag of Doritos. "No that's exactly how Karen is. She treats everyone like they're stupid and tries todo anything to get on top." Selinda shrugged "I don't care. She's two-faced and I didn't even bother to try in that group project. That teacher can kiss my ass if she thinks I'm going to work with a bunch of morons. So how can Angel work with a bunch of suck-ups?" Selinda leaned towards Dominic and crossed her arms. "I just hope she's okay and that Samuel doesn't blow up." Dominic frowned when his interpreter redirected him to finish his work. Baran looked at the boy and said, "What? Are you blind and deaf now too?" He cackled as their teacher came up to them threatening to separate the group. Dominic rolled his eyes and got on his online program. He clicked around to waste some time but wanted to talk to his dear girlfriend. He pulled up his email to see if Angelita would respond if he sent her a message.

Wykkyd 0ne: Hey darling r u okay? What did they say?

About ten minutes passed and he didn't receive a response. He was a bit worried about her and it was distracting him from his schoolwork. He knew that if she got reported again that she would be kicked out of all her clubs and refrain her from anything remotely fun at this stupid school. About fifteen minutes until the class was over, he finally received a message.

Sw33tAngel: Yeah I'm in yearbook rn. I'm just exhausted that they keep telling me the whole "be the bigger person" shit over n over again. Like do they literally not know that it never works? I dnt want to put up with people's crap.

Wykkyd 0ne: Well they have to understand that we have class with them so there's no way that they can tell you to "avoid" them…

Wykkyd 0ne: also do you want mcd's after school?

Wykkyd 0ne: i want a mcchicken and ice cream :)

Sw33tAngel: Yeah I dnt understand why they think still having her in the same class as me is going to fix anything

Sw33tAngel: lol okay

Sw33tAngel: just us 2 tho ;)
