The day after the Awake-a-thon, a few campers had still retained some after-effects from the challenge.

The ones that were least affected by the challenges were people like Noah and Cody who were eliminated early on.

They all looked fine and were doing things normally like any other day.

On the other hand, some people like Eva and Gwen were still tired from the challenges and could be seen sleeping around the camp.

This could be perfectly seen in how both these people were sleeping on the mess-hall tables.

The campers were having their breakfast, talking amongst themselves about what they're going to do today since it was a rest day.

Their conversation continued until Naruto and Chris walked into the mess-hall, the host had an evil look in his eyes that scared most of the campers while Naruto just looked worriedly at Eva.

"Eva are you alright? You look terrible." Naruto concerned voice echoed across the mess-hall as he went over to see if she was okay.

"Naruto is right, you look like shit." The host had an opposite reaction to Eva looks and just laughed while pointing at the muscular girl.

"Shut it McLean." Eva glared angrily at Chris for his insult before she turned towards Naruto.

"This is all Harold faults." Eva grumbled as she spoke before falling face down on the table.

Both Naruto and Chris raised their eyebrows at her response, both were curious on how Harold had managed to get ruin things.

They were about to ask questions, but Eva just went back to sleep.

So, they turned their attention to her teammates for answers.

Thankfully, Trent was kind enough to answer their confusion.

"Harold was snoring all night man. It kept all of us awake…until someone threw him out." Both Naruto and Chris turned to Eva after Trent finished.

"It was Eva, right?" Chris chuckled in amusement while pointing to the sleeping girl.

"A gentleman does not kiss and tell dude." Trent shook his head, refusing to be a snitch.

"Oh, Trent. I didn't know you were gay." Lindsay said supportably on the other table, having misread his words.

Her response had gotten laughter from everyone from her fellow campers while Trent just grumbled.

"So, that snoring I heard in the woods wasn't teddy." Naruto asked with a wrinkled and sour look on his face.

"No." Bridgette answered Naruto question while shaking her head.

"Oh damn, I got to apologize to teddy later." Naruto clutched his head as he could already imagine the amount of sassy he going to get from teddy.

"Damn right you do. Teddy was absolute heartbroken when I spoke to him today." Lindsay crossed her arms while pouting at Naruto way.

Teddy had already informed her earlier about how Naruto wrongly accused him of a crime that he didn't commit.

He was not happy about it all and was slumping around in his cave once Lindsay visited him.

"Come on, Lindsay. It not my fault." Naruto tried to defend himself as best as he could but that did nothing.

"Doesn't matter. You also have to bring an apology gift for teddy to show how sorry you are." Lindsay said while looking away from Naruto.

Naruto sighed as he begrudgingly accepted his loss in the argument.

He was in the wrong after all, falsely blaming teddy for something he didn't do but it wasn't all his fault.

I mean who would believe that a teenager would be sleeping in the woods at a place like this.

It might have been his fault for not checking it closely and figuring things out, but he wasn't going to waste his time looking around a creepy forest when he could be sleeping peacefully in his comfortable bed.

He still loved sleep thank you very much, even if he really didn't need it that much with his incredible body.

"What do you think I should get for teddy?" Naruto rubbed the back of his head, trying to think of the best gift he could get for teddy as an apology.

Lindsay thought for a while, tapping her chin while thinking of what the best gift for teddy would be.

She didn't answer right away since there was so much to choose from, so she turned over to Dawn for answers.

"Do you have any idea of what the gift should be, Dawn?" Lindsay wanted to get another opinion of the matter and asked her newly acquired friend.

Dawn thought for a few moments before she looked towards the forest and answered. "Teddy might like 3 grilled fish."

"Oh, that does sound like something would like." Lindsay clapped her hands in agreement, knowing of teddy gluttonous nature.

"Of course he would. That greed little furball." Naruto playfully rolled his eyes; he had already thought that teddy might like food the most as an apology gift.

"I wouldn't consider him small consider his statue." Noah said while looking away from his book.

"Ah, are you calling teddy fat!" Lindsay narrowed her eye on the book worm, feeling completely offended by his words.

"He is not fat, he's big boned." Lindsay placed his hands on her hips and snorted at Noah.

"Yeah, I'm sure teddy is ripped under all that fur." Owen stated while patting his stomach, feeling a sort of kinship with teddy.

"Not really, all he does it sleep and eat." Naruto commented with a crooked smile on his face.

"Though, I have been motivating him to start working." Naruto added on with a positive smile.

"Seriously, what type of exercise do you do?" Tyler asked with an intrigued eyebrow raise.

"We most run around the island, do some jumps, and lifts weights." Dawn answered for Naruto.

She had occasionally participated in some of the exercise with teddy while on the rest day and helped motivate him to do better.

"We're also teach teddy how to box." Lindsay happily said while doing some shadow boxing.

"You're teaching a bear how to box?" Duncan raised his eyebrow at that incredulous statement.

"Yeah, it a good way for teddy to burn off some fat." Naruto raised his thumb in confirmation.

"Awesome." Geoff stated with an exciting smile on his face, finding the prospect of a boxing bear to be cool as hell.

"Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Thing have been going good for him ask well, he got the basic down to the nail." Naruto gave up double thumb-ups back to Geoff with a happy smile.

"Though his stance could do some work." Dawn added on with a blank expression.

"Yeah, but we might need to work on that next time." Naruto tapped his chins in deep thoughts about teddy next boxing session.

"You just have to find teddy center of gravity, and your problem is fixed." Courtney rolled her eyes at the man and stated what she believed was to be the obvious.

Though her comment had gotten raised eyebrows from everyone in the room as they turned their heads towards.

"What? I took boxing lesson in middle school." Courtney placed her hands on her hips and looked away from the campers.

"You took boxing lessons?" Bridgette said in bewilderment, unable to comprehend how someone like Courtney had boxing skills.

"Well, it seems princess had a dangerous side to her that we didn't know." Naruto joking said with a raised eyebrow.

Everyone chuckled a little at Naruto comment, though Courtney just puffed her cheeks and glared at Naruto.

The host was weirdly one of the only people that didn't laugh, he had been sullen expression ever since everyone started ignoring him.

"Okay, can everyone just forget about teddy for a minute?" Chris sighed, wanting to diverge their topic away from the bear.

"No." Every camper said, finding the bear conversation remarkably interesting.

Chris face twitched in annoyance while Naruto tried to cover his laughter. The host rubbed the bridge of his nose before he chuckled evilly at the campers.

"You guys do realize that there's a challenge today." A flash of mischief ran through Chris eyes as he looked at the shocked looks on the campers faces.

"WHAT?!" All the campers shouted at the host, inadvertently waking up Gwen and Eva.

"Goddammit, why are you guys screaming so loud." Eva narrowed her eyes at her fellow campers while rubbing his forehead.

"Chris just said we had a challenge today." DJ informed the girl, though from a distance as to not incur her wrath.

"What?!" Eva angrily slammed her fist onto the table before she stared at Chris with murderous intent.

"What the hell man? You said we get a challenge every 3 days!" Duncan said while pointing his finger at Chris chin.

"That correct, I did say three days and it been three days." The campers were taken back by Chris words and looked around to see if anyone understood what he was saying.

"But our challenge ended yesterday." DJ stated with a confused face alongside everyone else.

"Yes, but the challenge started three days ago." Chris corrected the gentle giant.

"So wait, the time frame starts when the challenge begins and not when it ends?" Courtney asked while clutching her hand near her face.

"Yep." Chris nodded with a villainous smile.

"That doesn't seem fair." Bridgette said worriedly with many agreeing with her.

"Counselor, can't you do anything about this?" Heather looks towards Naruto, hoping that he can change this horrific setting.

"I'm sorry but I can't do anything." Naruto shook his head with a helpless sigh.

"But you've change things before, why can't you do it now?" Bridgette asked the whiskered man.

"All I can do is modify some of the challenges of the game, I can't fully change how the show rules." Naruto explained his reason towards the campers.

"I don't have that kind of power." Naruto shrugged his shoulder with a shaky frown.

"Then who does." Tyler raised his hand and asked that question.

"The only person on this island with that sort of power is Chris." Naruto pointed to the short man next to him.

"Good luck trying to change my mind cause I ain't budging." Chris chuckled menacingly while scanning all the campers around him.

"This doesn't even seem healthy for some of us." Bridgette stated while looking towards Gwen and her tired state.

"No, it not but it hilarious." Chris laughed as he pointed at the miserable campers.

"Oh, you think this is funny!" Duncan said as he raised his fist up to Chris before someone grabbed it.

"Sit down, Duncan." Naruto narrowed his eyes as he stared down the punk down.

Duncan tried to take his hand back, but it wouldn't budge for a moment. Finally, he stopped trying to fight against the giant.

"Tsk."

Naruto let go of Duncan fist after Duncan gave his resistance. The punk walked back to the table and sat back down.

"Man, where would I be without you dude." Chris said as he patted Naruto on the back.

"Dead." Naruto said flatly as he looked at the host.

"True true." The host nodded to Naruto statement before looking back at the campers.

"Alright contestant, meet me at the beach in 10 minutes." Chris said before he and Naruto walked from the mess-hall.

Though before they could walk out, Harold had walked into the mess-hall. He looked the same as ever but with a few slight changes.

Naruto covered his mouth and stomach as he tried to contain his laughter, trying to stay professional.

Chris and everyone else didn't take that leisure and laughed at the nerd.

"Why is everyone laughing?" Harold asked confusedly at everyone.

"Why don't you check a mirror." Duncan commented while he clutched onto his stomach.

Harold took one of the spoons on the table and looked at himself; he found that the words 'snoring beast' were written on his forehead and his Z's all around it.

"Who did this!" Harold screamed as he looked towards Duncan, already believing that it was the punk that did it.

"Don't look at me, I was sleeping the whole time." Duncan stated with someone of the dudes nodded to his statement.

"Then who was it?" Harold looked around to see who did the prank, but everyone just shrugged their shoulders.

"Who cares, we got a challenge to do." Courtney got up from her seat and started to follow Chris.

Everyone nodded with her and got up, leaving the nerd alone there. He looked dumbfounded at their careless actions before he sighed and went to the bathroom.

Naruto laughed a little before he turned his attention to the window, he saw teddy hiding behind a tree with a Sharpe.

He gave a thumbs-up to teddy before he walked away with Chris to the challenge area.

"What do you think the challenge would be?" Katie asked her team.

"Whatever it is, I hope it not as crazy as like the last one." DJ said as he and the teams started to get up from the seat.

"Don't get your hopes up…" Gwen yawned as she spoke.

beach

The campers walked behind the host and followed him, they soon made a turn around a rock and came to their destination.

The contestants were shocked to find a glass cube standing on the beach.

"Was this always here?" Cody asked his team while pointing at the glass cube.

"This wasn't here the last time I checked." Bridgette shook her head at Cody question.

"How did you even get it here without us noticing?" Noah questioned the host.

"Trade secret." Chris refused to answer Noah with a slight chuckle.

(confession)

"The intern made during the awake-a-thon." Chef said as he answered the question.

(confession: end)

All 20 campers walked into the glass cube and sat down on their team benches. Naruto was sitting between the stands.

"Naru, why are you sitting there?" Lindsay asked the whiskered man, curious as why he was not standing next to Chris or chef.

"Don't worry, I'll make sense in a minute." Naruto reassured the girl that her question would be answered later.

Both Chris and chef stood in front of the benches, the cook was wearing a referee uniform with a whistle.

"Today's challenge is the classic game of dodgeball." Chris pulled out a red rubber ball and showed it around the cube.

The bass soon grew worried expression as they heard the cracked knuckles made by Eva.

Both she and the gopher had huge grins on their faces, confident in winning today's challenge.

(confession)

"Finally! A sport challenge!" Eva yelled, punching her fist into her palm.

"We are so going to win this!" Courtney pumped her fist into the air, having complete trust in her team's athletic abilities or rather Eva athletic skills.

"We're doomed…" heather held her head while sulking about their terrible situation.

(confession: end)

"This is so unfair!" Lashawna cried in outrage at the challenge.

"We clearly at a disadvantage!" Lashawna said as he waved to the gopher teams before going back to her team.

"No offense guy." She looked at her team to see if anyone was offended by that, but Her team waved it off since they were thinking the same thing.

"She is kind of right." Chef agreed with the girl, he could see the physical strength and skill gap between the two teams just by looking at them.

Chris thought about for a minute before he smirked and pulled out a radio to call someone.

After a few minutes, an intern walked into the glass cube and gave Chris a black rubber ball with a painted skull on it.

"This is the death ball." Chris held up the black ball to the campers.

"What does it do?" Sadie asked the question in every camper's mind.

"If a person is hit by this ball, they will be eliminated from the game completely and will not be able to play again for the entirety of the challenge." Chris said with a shit-eating grin.

The campers looked shocked at the ball before the bass cheered excitedly and worry grew on the gophers' faces.

"But there are three limitations." The bass quite down as Chris continued with his explanation.

"One: This ball will only be used in the first two games." Chris held up his finger.

"Two: the ball can only be used to eliminate two people in each game." The gopher's faces lighted up as Chris continued

"Three: if you hold the ball longer than 30 seconds, you will automatically be eliminated." Chris looked around to see if anyone had any questions, but the campers understood the purpose of the ball.

"Alright then, let me explain the rules of dodgeball for people who don't know it." Chris said before everyone raised their eyebrows.

"Who doesn't the rules of dodgeball?" Lashawna said in utter shock.

Everyone agreed with her since dodgeball was one of the most common sports; everyone has played it at least once in their life.

But to everyone's shock, two hands were raised in the air. They turned to see that both Naruto and Lindsay were holding hands up.

"I have played in a while and forgot the rules." Lindsay said with her head dropped down.

"I've never played dodgeball before." Naruto said with a nonchalant tone.

The campers looked strangely at Naruto with weird expressions, wondering how he had never played dodgeball before.

"What, did you not have a childhood?" Courtney said with a smug look before a dodgeball hit right in the stomach.

The campers winced at the girl before they looked to see that Chris was the one that threw the dodgeball.

"Anyone else has something to say?" Chris said as he clutched onto a dodgeball, The campers shook their heads and stayed quiet.

Naruto looked over and silently thanked Chris with a nod, The host just waved it off and went back to the campers.

"The first of dodgeball is that if you get hit by the ball, you're out." Chris smirked before he threw a fast one at heather.

The girl didn't have time to react and subconsciously shielded herself. She waited for the eventual pain, but it never came.

She opened her eyes and saw that Naruto had caught the ball just inches away from her face.

"Oh…thank you." Heather said with a little force in her voice, she may hate the man but she wasn't completely heartless.

Naruto nodded and just passed the ball back to Chris before he walked to his spot.

"What the hell, man?" Chris cried out in outrage.

"You said it was my job to make sure that no one in the benches get hurt?" Naruto teased the host with a smile.

"You only do that when the games start, okay." Chris said with his hands on his hips.

"Fine." Naruto didn't argue and just rolled his eyes.

"Moving on. If you catch the ball, the thrower is out and you can bring a teammate back into the game." Chris said as he tossed the ball at Geoff.

"Now Geoff, you throw it at me at my cue." The surfer dude nodded to the host while clutching onto the ball.

"You can reflect a ball away if you have a ball in your hands, but you're out if the ball is knocked away." Chris said before Lindsay raised her hand.

"What do I do if the ball is head straight towards me?" The confused Lindsay asked.

"You dodge!" Chris said as he reflects the ball towards Lindsay.

Chris was surprised to find that Lindsay was not scared at all by the flying ball. He soon found out why as someone grabbed it before it even reached Lindsay.

"Thanks, naru." Lindsay cheerfully said, having fully expected Naruto to protect her.

"Oh, come on! I just said don't do your job until the game starts!" Chris said as he narrowed his eyes at the blonde man.

"Yeah, but I'm not doing my job." Naruto rolled the ball back to Chris as he said that.

"Then why did you stop my ball?" Chris asked while picking the ball up.

"I didn't want to see Lindsay get hurt." Naruto said before Lindsay hugged him.

"Oh, you're so nice." Naruto smiled upon the compliment as he patted the girl's head.

Naruto soon noticed from the corner of his eye; he turned slight to see that heather was staring daggers at him.

(confession)

"Dammit, I hate it when those two are together." Heather referred to the two blondes.

"Why does Lindsay get all the special treatment from him?" The queen bee growled at the image of the blonde girl getting everything from Naruto.

(confession: end)

"Alright, let get started." Chris said as chef brought a box to him which got the campers' attention.

"Due to the presence of the death ball. The team for the first two rounds will be decided by drawing ticket." Chris soon rummaged his hens through the box and picked out five names.

"For team bass…Lashawna, Cody, Geoff, Dawn, and Katie." The five named bass walked up to the field while Chris once again rummaged through the box.

"For the gophers…Noah, Courtney, Gwen, Harold, and Eva." The five gophers went up and stood on the opposite stand of the bass.

The field was now filled with teams. All of them were staring directly at the death ball, they all wanted to be the first to grab it.

"Ready…set…start!" Chef blew the whistle at the top of his lungs.

All campers raced towards the death ball and outreached their hands towards it.

Eva has a crazy grin other face as she stared at the death ball, her hands inches away from it.

She thought she had it in the bag until a mysterious hand took it before her very eyes.

She looked up to see that Dawn of all people had gotten the ball before her.

(confession)

"How is she so fast?!" Eva grumbled with her arm spread across the outhouse.

"I did some track and cross-country in high school." Dawn stated while in a meditation stance.

(confession: end)

Dawn looked ready to fire her ball at Eva before her ears picked up something and she flipped into the air.

She dodged the fast dodgeball coming her way, Eva turned to see that Courtney was the one who threw the ball.

She thanked the girl with a thumbs up until her eye dilated once she saw the horrified look on Courtney face.

She turned to see the death ball coming straight at her, throw by dawn after she landed onto the ground.

Eva side-stepped herself away from the ball and narrowly dodged it by a hair.

The ball kept on moving and hit the sleep-deprived Gwen in the face. Eva winced at the pain before she saw the death ball rolling towards her.

Eva grabbed the ball and threw it towards dawn with all her might. Dawn eyes widen at the fast ball and narrowly dodge it.

The bass moved away from the ball which we caused it to bounce on the glass cube and head straight towards Katie in the back.

"Ooww!" Katie clutched her back in pain as cracks could be heard, everyone winced at the painful sight.

"Oh, she going to feeling that next thing in the morning." Chris chuckled as he looked at the groaning girl.

Eva frowned when she missed her shot but her expression soon grew surprised as a gust of wind passed through her.

There couldn't possibly be wind in here since there is a cube glass.

Eva thought she was imagining it until she saw that both Gwen and Katie had disappeared from the court.

"Where the hell are those two!" Courtney cried in shock as she tried to find the two missing campers along with everyone else.

"There with me." Everyone turned around to see Naruto placing Gwen on the gopher bench and then placed Katie down on her stomach with her team bench.

"How did they get off the court so fast?" Heather asked the question in everyone's mind with dumbfounded expression.

"I ran into the court and got them out." Naruto stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Everyone just stared at him with a blank face, unsure of how to process that information.

(confession)

Courtney stared into space with a black expression, she opened her mouth but soon closed it after.

She sighed as she rubbed her forehead. "Is he even human?"

"We have no idea." Chef said with both his arm and legs crossed.

"We haven't done a proper physical examination on him, but I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that he a superhuman." Chef said to the camera.

"Do you guys think naru is part animal?" Lindsay asked, finding this to be the most reasonable explanation to Naruto strength.

"If it true, then what animal would it be?" Lindsay soon thought of the diverse types of animals that could be.

"Oh, it must be a tiger. They both are strong and powerful…also because Naruto has those cute whiskers." Lindsay giggles as she thought of Naruto cute markings.

(confession: end)

Dawn looked at Naruto before remembering that she was still in a challenge. She looked around and saw that most were still looking blankly at Naruto.

She used this moment of distraction and grabbed one of the balls and threw it at the distracted Eva.

"Ow." Eva screams drew back everyone's attention and made everyone realize that the game was still going on.

The gophers went to grab the balls around them, but this only gave Geoff the time to hit one of them. The unlucky person being Courtney.

"It's time to unleash my awesome skills." Harold said as he clutched onto a ball.

He balanced the dodgeball on his knee with his hands stretched out like a bird, he grabbed it and threw it straight towards the ground.

The ball didn't even bounce towards the bass but rather ran down until it slowly rolled over to Lashawn.

The sister picked up the ball and smiled mockingly at the nerd, she threw the ball straight towards Harold and hit in the stomach.

Noah was now the last person left on his team; he didn't even have the time to react before he was hit in the face by Cody.

"Round 1 goes to the bass!" Chris said while the campers started to move back onto the benches.

"You have 5 minute to strategize with your team." The campers nodded before they formed groups.

"Don't worry Katie, an intern will be bringing ice soon enough." Naruto comforted the girl, having called an intern a few moments prior.

"How long will it take for it to get here?" Katie asked while rubbing her back.

"About 5 minutes but if you're that much in pain, I can use message to help relax it." Naruto suggested as he looked at the painful expression of the girl.

"Sure." Katie did not care what Naruto did, she just wanted the pain to go away.

Naruto nodded and placed his hand on top of Katie back, he rearranged Katie spin back in place and relaxed some of the surrounding muscles.

"Ooohhh." Katie moaned as she felt her back healed and better than ever before.

"Now, you can just rest and stay here." Katie nodded while Sadie came next to her to help her out.

"Katie, are you okay?" Sadie asked worriedly to her best friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be good in a few." Katie reassured her friend that she was fine.

Naruto smiled at the close friendship between the two before he looked towards the bass team.

"We have to get Eva in the next round." Heather said seriously, firmly believing that Eva was the great threat.

"We know that, but how are we going to achieve that. The gophers know that we want Eva and probably let one of their weaker players sacrifice themselves to protect Eva." Lashawna said to the queen bee before she turned her head towards Dawn.

"Also, good play there Dawn." Lashawna complimented the girl to which she nodded to.

"Thank you." Dawn accepted the compliment.

"But we should talk about a more pressing problem." All the attention went to Dawn at this moment.

"And what's that?" Duncan asked.

"The teams are random." The bass's eyes widen at Dawn words.

They had forgotten that the teams were completely random, Eva might not even be in the next round.

"What should we do now?" DJ asked everyone. The bass began to think of what to do next until someone interrupted.

"Why does it matter? We already have one win, if we can win the next round. Our victory is guaranteed." Duncan said with a shrug.

"You make it sound like so easy, don't forget that they still have a beast on their side." Heather glared at the punk.

"Cause it is. Just look at Eva right now." The bass turned their attention to Eva upon Duncan pointing.

"She is sleep-deprived and is about to fall asleep any minute now." The bass eyes dilated as they saw the slight yawns and the loose eyelids on Eva face.

"And everyone else in the gopher don't look like they're great at dodgeball at all." Duncan motioned to the gopher with a prideful smirk.

"Duncan right. We got this in the bag." Lashawna said with newfound confidence in her victory.

Her team agreed with her and sat back down contentedly.

Chef blew the whistle, indicating that the game was about to begin. Chris once again drew lots for the team.

"For the bass…Duncan, DJ, Cody, Heather, and Lindsay." The bass walked the court with smug smirks on their faces.

"For the gophers…Owen, Tyler, Harold, Bridgette, and Trent." The court was once again filled with players.

"Bring it on rodents." Heather said insultingly to the gophers.

"Oh, it is so on." Tyler started to fight back against the insult.

"We're going to bring the dinner to the table and eat it!" His teammates looked at him weirdly, unsure of what he was trying to do.

The bass just laughed at him before chef blew the whistle. The team ran towards the balls, trying to get the ball first.

Duncan was the first to grab the death and he looked around to see who he should get out first.

He smirked once his eyes landed on Owen, he was easiest to get it because of his size.

Duncan threw the ball at the oaf with all the strength that he could muster. The ball head straight towards Owen chest.

The ball's impact caused Owen to curl, but in a surprise turn of event, it stayed lodged in his chest.

Owen grabbed the ball from his chest and threw at DJ, surprising the gentle giant.

DJ had no time to react and got hit in face by the death ball.

Duncan couldn't even fully comprehend what had happened before he and DJ were lifted away from the court by Naruto.

"What the fuck just happened?!" Duncan was bewildered by the turn of event, and he wasn't alone as everyone else was just as shocked as he was.

"Way to go, Owen!" Izzy clapped at Owen amazing display of skill.

"Oh, shuck it was nothing." Owen rubbed the back of his head, slight embarrassed by Izzy compliment.

Courtney soon got out of her shock once she saw that there were still 3 bass left on the court.

"Guys, what are you doing. Win the game!" Courtney loud tarot had awakened everyone up from the shocking turn of events

The gophers quickly went to get the balls before the bass could react. They were able to successfully get four balls while the bass could only get one.

Tyler held onto his ball before he started to spin around, trying to use the centripetal force to increase his power.

He shot after a few seconds, but his aim was terrible, and the ball went straight towards Courtney face.

Courtney braced here for the pain impact and the pain never came, she over to see Naruto had caught it.

"Um…thanks." Courtney said nervously.

Naruto nodded before he rolled the ball back into the court, it landed towards the queen bee.

Heather picked up the ball and threw it at the unsuspecting gopher, which was Harold.

"Harold, watch out!" Trent called out to the nerd, which caused Harold to turn around to see the ball coming his way.

This was an unbelievably bad move as the ball had flown down and hit Harold right in the nuts.

"AAAHHH! My nuts!" Harold screamed as she clutched on to his crotch.

(confession)

"A second time!" Duncan laughed at the painful moment of Harold getting hit in the nuts.

"Harold will not be having kids after the show is over." Naruto shook his head as he spoke.

"He isn't. Hahahah!" Chris agreed with Naruto statement very much, this was already the second time it happened.

(confession: end)

The guys winced then, but that did not stop Heather; she took the ball Cody had and threw it at Trent.

However, Trent was able to react in time because of Noah call and reflected the ball back to the bass court.

"So, how do I play again…" Lindsay asked since she did not really understand how to play the game.

Lindsay was so focused on trying to understand the game that she didn't even realize that a ball was heading straight towards her.

But it was a good thing that she had a literal Demi-god protecting her.

Lindsay disappeared from the court when the ball was just inches away from her face.

The campers did not need to look far to see where Lindsay had gone since they knew only one person could do that.

Low and behold, Lindsay was sitting on the bass bench and Naruto standing right next to her.

(confession)

"Blatant favoritism." Gwen said with a black expression and crossed arms.

"I'm more surprised that Chris hasn't stopped Naruto from playing favorites." Lashawna dryly while placing her head onto her left palm.

"Hey, it makes for great entertainment." Chris chuckled mischievously, Romance was always a great tool to get more views and ratings.

"And besides, Naruto might need someone in his life." A small little genuine smile formed Chris face as he said this.

(confession: end)

The game still went on as the campers got used to the disappearance of the players once they're out.

Though the game did not last long since there were only two bass left, neither of whom were particularly good at dodgeball.

Owen was quickly able to take out Cody and Bridgette did the same with Heather.

"Round 2 goes to the gophers!" The team immediately started to group after Chris said that.

"How the hell did we lose?!" Heather cried out in outrage.

"It all because of Owen." Duncan grumbled as he spoke, still pissed that he was out of the game now because of Owen.

"Well, what do we do now?" DJ asked the group.

The group state in silence until dawn intervened within the conversation.

"Do not worry, we still a good chance at winning this." Dawn tried to reassure her teammate.

"How do you know that?" DJ question the girl.

"Yeah, have you noticed. The gophers are probably going to send in Owen and Eva at the same time. Kicking our butts in the process." Duncan said while clenching his fist.

"Yeah, that would be true in a normal game." Her statement had gotten suspicious glares from everyone around her.

"What do you mean by that?" Heather asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Do you truly think Chris would want us to play a normal dodgeball?" Dawn looked toward the host as she said that.

Her words had caused her teammates to be frozen in their tracks and genuinely think about what she said.

"Wait, are you saying Chris might make the challenge more difficult for us?" Lashawna asked the girl, to which she nodded to.

"This would make sense; this is Chris after all." Heather said before glancing at the smirking host.

Her teammates nodded with her. They may not have known Chris for much, but they do know that this is something he might pull.

"So, what our plan?" Sadie nervously asked her teammates, not wanting to lose this challenge.

Duncan thought about it for a minute before he spoke. "We just have to pray that it gives us an advantage."

"That was amazing Owen." Bridgette state as her team congratulated the big oaf for getting them the win.

"Great job dude." Trent patted the man of the back.

"Thanks guys." Owen couldn't stop a large grin from appearing on his face as his teammates complimented him.

"Okay guys, enough with the congratulations. We need to strategize so huddle up." Courtney did not allow the victory to get to her head and stayed calm.

The gopher soon grouped around Courtney.

"So, what do we doing." Izzy asked, wondering what her plan was.

"First off, Harold and Tyler are not playing at all." Courtney pointed to the team's worst players.

"But why?!" Harold did not like the fact that he was being sidelined by his team.

"Because you can't throw." Trent said to the nerd.

"Yes, I can." Harold scoffed at Trent words.

"Then what was that in the first round." Trent said, gathering nods from his teammates.

"That was just a fluke, you guys need my awesome skills." Harold said while patting his chest.

"Oh, sure we do." Noah sarcastically said with a massive eyeroll.

"Doesn't matter you say, you're out Harold." Courtney warned the nerd while pointing to the bench.

Harold huffed before everyone glared at him, he went and sat down on the stands with Tyler.

Courtney looked at two before she went back to planning. "Okay, we need to decide how our teams."

The team began to think about what their team should be until Noah sported a question that had been on his mind.

"Has anyone else been wondering why Chris made us play in this glass cube?" Noah asked the group, his voice filled with confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Trent asked, wondering if Noah was on to something.

"Think about, why would Chris want us to play in this glass cube." Noah started to explain his thought process.

"We could play anywhere else, but Chris wanted us to do it here." Noah motioned his arms around the area around him.

"You don't think it's going to be a part of the challenge, do you?" Bridgette asked worriedly.

"That would make sense, this is Chris after all." The team slowly nodded to Courtney words.

"But what is exactly is he trying to do?" Eva asked with her eyes narrowed at the smirking host.

Her teammates looked around each for answered but no one could think of a good plausible reason for their predicament.

"We don't know but we need to think of a countermeasure." Noah rubbed his chin, thinking of what to do next.

"Why don't we just ask Chris." Bridgette said, her words stopping her teammate train of thoughts.

"I don't think he will answer, I mean it Chris." Izzy said with the team nodding to her.

"Why don't we just send in a practice team to see where things go?" Izzy looked around to see if anyone agreed with her.

"That's a good, but who should we send." Noah asked while looking towards his teammates.

"Oh oh, me me!" Izzy raised her hand excitedly; she wanted to play right away.

"Okay, anyone else?" Courtney looked to see who else would join.

Trent, Bridgette, and Owen raised their hands upon her question.

"Welp, I guess I go in too." Courtney said with her fist on her hips.

The team nodded before everyone was startled by the loud whistle made by chef.

The gophers nodded to each other before the team headed onto the court.

"Wait!" Everyone stopped in their tracks as they looked at the queen bee.

"What wrong now, Heather?" Lashawna asked her teammate, though her tone was dry as a bone.

Heather just narrowed her eyes at Leshawna before she turned over to the host. "Chris, the team are still unbalanced."

"Yeah and?" Chris shrugged his shoulders, completely unbothered by Heathers statement.

"Aren't you going to fix it." Heather placed her hands on hips as he raised her eyebrow at Chris.

"Why, I already gave you guys that chance already." Chris grew irritated about Heather constant complaints.

"Yeah, but thing went south and our team is far worse than before." Heather motioned the remaining player they had left.

"That not my problem." Chris waved her concerns off with a dismissive tone, Heather was about to say more but Chris held out his finger toward her.

"Let me give a piece of advice." Chris said with slicking back his hair.

"The key to victory is not through luck but through the ability to grab hold of the opportunity granted to you by life." Chris sagely tone ranged across the court.

"You guys were granted an opportunity to even the playing field, but you failed at that. you have no one to blame but yourselves." Chris pointed to the bass with a serious expression.

The campers looked awestruck after he finished his speech, Chris puffed his chest at the reaction of the kids.

"That was…surprising wise of you." Courtney said with a slight ripple in her eye, the campers nodded to her statement with widened eyes.

"Thank you, I'm more than just a pretty face." Chris said before he struck a pose for the camera.

"Well as they say, with great age comes great wisdom." Naruto covered his mouth to his laughter while chef was chuckling at his joke.

"Hey, are you calling me old?" Chris narrowed his eye onto Naruto with a deadly glint, he did not like being called old.

"If that what you're insinuating, then yes." Naruto nodded with a mischievous smirk.

Chef let out a full-blown laugh while the campers either laughed with him or just chuckled while looking at Chris.

"Shut up!" Chris yelled at everyone with all his strength, wanting them to stop laughing at him.

Everyone stopped laughing for a moment and looked at Chris.

The host thought that everyone was scared and felt proud of himself, but he wrong and everyone just started laughing at him again.

Chris slumped down and crossed his stand as he looked around the glass cube. "I hate every one of you."

"Sorry about that dude, it was just too funny." Naruto apologizes while hoisting his arm around Chris neck.

"Fine, let get back to the game." Chris grumbled, not wanting this humiliating moment to go on any longer.

Thankful everyone stopped laughing and went to the challenge at hand, much to the relief of the host.

The bass teams consisted of Dawn, Lashawna, Cody, Heather, and Geoff.

"Campers may I have your attention!" Chris addressed the campers as he walked towards the middle.

"Now that the death ball is gone, we can start playing how I originally wanted you all to." Chris said before he nodded to some interns.

The campers watched curiously as the intern brought forth a light project.

Chris, chef, and Naruto all put on sunglasses which caused the campers to raise their eyebrows.

"Hit it!" Chris said with a thumbs up to the intern.

Soon, the campers were blinded by the light omitting from the glass around except for Lindsay since Naruto had covered her eyes earlier.

"My eyes!" Duncan cried out as he covered his eyes.

"It burns!" Harold knelt down on the ground, and he tried to rub his eyes.

"What the hell Chris!" Lashawna roared at the host.

"As you can 'see', this is how you will be playing for this round." Chris said with an air quote on the 'see'.

"So, is this why you wanted us to play in a glass cube. For better lighting." Courtney said as she began to recover her vision.

"Yeah, why else would I instruct the intern to build this?" Chris waved his arms to the large glass cube around them.

"For dramatics?" Trent said with his eyes squinting.

"Good guess but no." Chris chuckled before he walked back to the sidelines with chef.

"Now begin!" Chris said as chef blew the whistle.

The campers started to run towards the center to get the balls, but the blinding light had caused some accidents along the way.

Both Trent and Geoff had crashed into each other as they tried to grab a ball.

Heather had even could see where she was going and just tripped over a dodgeball.

Unfortunately for Owen as that ball crashed straight into his face.

"Does that count?" Naruto asked as he pointed to the injured oaf.

"I don't think so?" Chris tapped his chin before he looked towards chef for answers.

The cook shook his head. "She had to throw the ball for it to count."

Both Naruto and Chris looked at each other and shrugged. They turned to look back at the game and see if there were any changes.

Two people were able to see within this blinding light, Dawn and Izzy.

The two were able to grab a ball and threw at each other. The two encountered each other and bounced back towards their respective courts.

Dawn ball had hit Heather right in the shoulder and Izzy ball took out Trent.

"It like looking in a mirror." Chris commented at the strange turn of event, his co-workers agreed with him.

"I got one dude!" Geoff cheered as he grabbed hold of a dodgeball. He squeezed his eyes to find where the gophers were.

He was vaguely able to see where they were and threw it at them. Too bad his shot missed Courtney by a hair and passed through her.

The ball bounced against the glass walls and slowly rolled over to the C.I.T.

Courtyard turned around as she felt the ball hitting her feet, she picked it up and examined it.

"Sweet." Courtney said before she tried to look around for any potential bass anywhere.

She soon locked onto Cody and thrusted the ball at him.

The poor boy couldn't even see the ball before it hit right in the nuts.

"Why?!" Cody squinted as he clutched onto his family jewels.

"Man, we are getting a lot of hurt nuts today." Chris said as he looked towards the injured boy.

"Yeah, it's so painful to watch." Naruto said as he placed the poor boy on the sides.

"Hey, I got one!" Both Naruto and Chris looked towards the big oaf holding a dodgeball up in the air.

He threw the ball randomly to the bass side, hoping to get one out.

The ball passed through his teammates and head straight towards Dawn.

This time Dawn didn't dodge the ball and tried to catch it. She relocated her legs for a better position and hosted her hands up.

The ball slammed into her hands and caused her to move back a few inches, but she caught the ball.

Chef blew the whistle and pointed at the big oaf. "Owen, you're out!"

Owen slumped down on his knee as he was lifted up by Naruto and headed back to the benches.

"Sadie, you're in!" The chubby best friend said goodbye to her friend before going DJ the court.

Dawn looked around her to find any unguarded gopher and she soon found one.

The nature girl held up her ball and threw at the C.I.T, slamming it right into her rear.

"Ow." The girl said as she rubbed her behind before she was lifted out of the court and into the sidelines.

"Damn it." Courtney growled at her unfortunate loss.

Now only Bridgette and Izzy were left in the game against Dawn, Lashawna, Geoff, and Sadie.

"Time to get crazy!" Izzy said before she grabbed two dodgeballs and just threw them all over the place.

The force behind the ball had allowed them to bounce around the court so much that only Naruto could accurately see their projection.

The two balls had miraculously flown towards the bass side and both slammed Geoff right in the face at once.

"Quick, grab the balls!" Lashawna said as she pointed to the discarded balls around Geoff.

Both she and Sadie grabbed them and threw them towards Izzy.

The crazy girl smiled at the incoming balls before she did a side spin that dodge both the balls.

Fortunately, one of the balls did hit Bridgette in the shoulder. Leaving Izzy as the last player left on the gopher's side.

Dawn grab a nearby ball and threw it at the crazy girl as she was landing.

Izzy felt the incoming ball and knelt on the girl, so the ball could fly past her.

Izzy got back up to look for a dodgeball but missed how Dawn ball bounced back from the glass wall and headed towards her back.

"Owe!" Izzy groaned as the ball hit her in the back.

"Game over! Round three goes to the bass!"

The gophers groaned at their loss while the bass cheered, only one more win and they could win this challenge.

"That was amazing!" Lindsay cheered her group as they walked back to the benches.

"Especially you Dawn!" Lindsay said as she hugged their girl.

The rest of ten bass soon congratulated the girl as well since Dawn was the main contributor to their wins.

"That was amazing work you did out there, sugar cube."

"Nice work there."

"Well, I guess you did okay."

"Way to go, dudette."

Dawn lowered her head slightly as the compliment she was receiving from her group.

A small tint of pink could be seen from Dawn cheeks as she slowly nodded.

Naruto smiled at the happy display, proud and happy that Dawn could be appreciated by her group.

"We're going to lose." Owen muttered as he looked at the scoreboard, feeling desperate for a win.

The rest of the team was feeling the same way until Courtney stepped up towards them.

"We can't give up now guys. We already lost the last challenge; we are not losing again." Courtney slammed his fist down on her palm, highlighting her seriousness.

"And how are we going to win?" Noah asked the girl.

Courtney tapped her chin before she smirked, "Eva, are you ready to some hurling?"

The muscular girl smirked with a nod.

Round 4 of the games began, both teams were packed with the best they got so far.

The gophers had Izzy, Owen, Eva, Courtney, and Trent.

The bass had Dawn, Lashawna, Geoff, Heather, and Sadie.

The campers soon raised their eyebrows as the host pulled in a cart full of crystal glasses.

"Campers, come and pick something out of this cart." Chris said before the campers went up in line.

"Are we supposed to wear these?" Courtney said as she looked at the sapphire crystal glasses in her hand.

"I can't see anything?" Trent said while waving his arms everywhere.

"That the point." Chris chuckled before he pulled the cart away from the court.

"Can any of you guys see in this?" Heather said to the group.

The crystal glasses had warped the perception of everyone by enlarging, shifting, and shrinking everything around them.

"I can a little bit." Dawn said as she could focus on singular image at a time which improved her vision a little bit.

"I see something." Geoff said with a little confidence, he used to play games similar to this one when he was partying.

"You two will be our main throwers while the rest of us will get you the balls, got it." Heather said to the group, they nodded and all agreed with her plan.

Over on the gopher's side, things were not going good for them.

"So only Izzy can see through these?" Courtney said as the rest of the team nodded with her.

"Okay then, Izzy and Eva will be our thrower, Owen our defender, me and Trent will get you the balls. Everyone got." Her team nodded before they got into position.

Chef blew the whistle, and the game started. The campers started to race towards the ball and Dawn was the first one to reach it.

"I got two of them, guys!" Trent said as he held onto two 'balls'.

"That Owen ass, dude! Hahahaha." Chris laughed as he pointed to Trent holding onto Owen butt.

"Uggh, gross!" Trent said before he was hit in the head by a ball made by Dawn.

"I got you now, Owen!" Geoff said as he threw his ball at Owen.

The surfer dude was confident in taking Owen out but by some miracle, Owen was able to jump out of the ball's direction and dodge it.

The ball headed towards the C.I.T, she stood her ground and got ready to catch the ball in front of her.

The ball impacted her chest for a split second before she clutched onto it, she grabbed it and held it up.

"You're out Geoff!" The surfer dude groaned before he walked to the sidelines.

"Yes." Courtney celebrated as the bass had lost one of the only campers that could see with these glasses.

"Tyler, you're in!" Chef said with an evil smirk on his face.

"No!" The gopher screamed as the worst possible choice that the cook could choose from.

Tyler excitedly got up and took on of the crystal glass, he went into the court and grabbed as many balls as he could.

He wanted to redeem himself for his failure in the earlier rounds so he didn't think before he acted.

He started to spin around with the five balls in his hands and then released them once he couldn't hold on anymore.

The balls bounced everywhere, and everyone from bass to gopher fell victim to the rampage that was Tyler horrific throws.

The only people that were safe from the rampage were the ones in the sidelines since Naruto had deflected the balls back into the court.

The first ball went straight towards dawn, who positioned herself to catch the ball. She was able to do it but was slightly hurt by it.

The second ball slammed sat tight in the back of Eva head, she was about to get up before she was hit in the shoulder by Dawn.

Two of the balls hit Owen, one going for his face and the other going for his crotch.

The last ball landed straight on Lashawna stomach.

"Wow, so much chaos." Chris laughed at the wretched state of the campers.

Heather grabbed one of the balls during the chaos and slammed it at the injured oaf.

"Sadie, help me take out Izzy! Dawn, go take out Bridgette!" The two girls nodded before heading off to do their mission.

Dawn was able to take out Bridgette easily, but Heather and Sadie were having a tough time with Izzy.

The crazy girl natural agility and acrobatics were giving her the edge of them and not allowing any of their balls to hit her.

The game finally ended when Dawn was able to hit Izzy by surprise.

"That game! Victory goes to the bass!"

The bass cheered as they left the glass cube, going to celebrate their victory against the gophers.

"WOW, gophers. I can't believe you lost again." The host teased the team with a mischievous smirk.

"Oh shut it, McLean." Eva growled at the host which caused the host to recoil back a little.

He didn't have Naruto with him right since that dude left with Lindsay to celebrate her team's victory.

"Whatever, just meet me at the campfire later." The host left with chef after he said that.

"Man, I hate it when we lose." Eva said as she kicked the wooden bench in front of her.

"You and me both." Courtney agreed with the girl with a sigh.

"Well, in any case. I already know who I'm voting for." Courtney stared at Tyler as she said that.

The man was the weakest link in their team and costed them the game Because of his reckless actions.

"Me too." Noah said before he walked away from the cube.

Tyler sighed, already knowing what was going to go down at the campfire today.

Campfire

"Campers, you have all placed your vote and made your decision. One of you will be leaving this island forever!" Chris spoke as he stood in front of the screaming gophers.

"Eva, Courtney, Owen…" the three campers walked up and got their marshmallows.

"Izzy, Bridgette, Trent…" all three took their marshmallows and just ate it before walking beside the rest.

"Gwen, Noah, and Harold." The final three contestants walked up, leaving only Tyler behind.

"I'd say I was shocked but we all I would be lying." Chris said before he pointed to the dock of shame.

"Off you go, my friend." Tyler sighed before he walked to the boat of losers.

"Man, this juice is amazing. How you'd make it?" Lashawna asked while holding a cup filled with purple juice.

The bass was partying after their two-win streak, they had asked the intern if they could use the hot-tub and they agreed.

Though a party wouldn't be complete with drinks, so they tried to get chef to allow them to use his chef.

It went well as you'd expect, and they were chased out of the mess-hall by an angry chef holding a knife.

It was a good thing Naruto was there to stop the raging cook before any severe damage could happen, but they were still bummed out that they couldn't get drinks.

That was until Naruto brought forth a few bottles of his own home-made drinks from teddy cave.

The drinks had an exceptionally low alcohol rate, so Naruto thought it was okay to give some to the campers.

"I used some fruits and berries, mixing them together and fermenting them in teddy cave." Naruto said as he drank from his cup.

"Could you use strawberries to make some drinks later." Lindsay requested, like strawberries better than other fruits.

"Sure, we can try experimenting with stuff later." Naruto agreed since there was no harm.

"May I ask, why are you making drinks?" Dawn asked the blonde, curious as to why he was making alcohol.

"It for my night club business." Naruto answered back to Dawn.

He had thought about making a night club after his counselor job, can't be too careful with money.

"But you already have that beauty salon business you're working on?" Lashawna asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, you always have to have a backup plan for everything." Naruto said with a little twinkle in his eyes.

Life was never something anyone could ever predict or control, it was always chaotic and changed at every second.

Naruto had been on the receiving end of that chaos multiple times before and now he had grown to adapt those types of change exceedingly early on.

"I agree, life is very unpredictable like you." Dawn stared at the blonde counselor as she said that.

"Why thank you for the compliment." Naruto rubbed Dawn head while a smile on his face.

"Life is only unpredictable if you allow it to be." The four turned over to see Heather speak while having one hand on her hips and the other holding a cup.

"All you have to do is take life by the throat and command it." Heather arrogantly said while flipping her hair.

"Like you're on to talk, I sure you can't even handle spicy food." Lashawna waved her dismissively at the queen bee.

"What was that, Lashawna?" Heather glared at the girl with a venomous glint.

"You heard what I said." Lashawna did not back down from her and stared Heather down.

The two girls stare at each other with a fierce and competitive eye, just waiting for the other to throw the first attack.

The tension between them grew every second that they stared at each other.

both were about to throw an insult at each other, but Naruto chopped them on the head before they could do anything.

"Knock it off, you two." Naruto told them with an irritated expression, completely done with their argument.

"Why can you two just try to get along with each other?" Naruto sighed as he looked down at the two, looking like a tired dad.

"She the only that started it." The two girls said in unison while pointing at each other.

The two looked appalled before they turned over to stare at each other. "Stop lying, you bi-."

They couldn't even finish their insult before Naruto chopped them again on the head.

"Ow." The two rubbed their heads while looking down on the ground.

"Enough, you two." Naruto rubbed the bridge of his nose while looking tirelessly at the two-bickering girl.

"Can't you two just get along?" Naruto said as he tried to mend their relationship, though it would be more difficult than he thought.

"No way, she's my enemy. I don't make friend with my enemy." Heather pointed to Leshawna with a narrowed eye.

"Same here." Leshawna agreed with Heather words, though begrudgingly.

"You two do realize you're on the same team, right?" Bridgette entered the conversation with her eyebrows raised.

"Yeah, that doesn't mean we have to like each other." Heather flipped her hair as she nonchalantly looked at her nails.

"We might want to if we wish more challenges." Dawn inputted her opinion, believing teamwork to be a valuable aspect to victory.

"Why should we, our team already won the last two challenges." Heather arrogantly said while smirking towards Bridgette specifically.

"Don't jinx it." Naruto smirked while pointing to Heather in a joking manner.

"Oh no, Haile don't jinx us!" Lindsay clutched onto her face while looking horrified at Naruto words.

"Oh please, only loser believe in hippy stuff like that." Heather dismissed Lindsay worries with a wave of her hand.

"Don't be so close-minded, our world is more mysterious than you might believe." Dawn said with a black expression, though her eye suspiciously looked toward Naruto as she said this.

"Whatever, I'm going to get more drinks." Heather didn't listen to Dawn words and just left to get back into the party.

Dawn sighed at Heather dismissive attitude; she looked on the ground before she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't waste your time on a girl like Heather, she just a waste of time." Leshawna said as she tried to comfort Dawn while glaring at the departed figure of Heather.

"You shouldn't be talking about someone like that behind their backs." Naruto crossed his arms while side-eyeing Leshawna.

"Why not, we all know Heather is a two-faced bi-OoWw!" Leshawna was once again hit by Naruto on the head before she could finish speaking.

"Don't curse about people like that." Naruto commanded Leshawna with a serious expression.

"What are you, my mama." Leshawna rubbed her head while glaring back at Naruto.

"No, but if you keep acting like that. I'll give you a lesson one manners." Naruto said with seriousness in his voice.

"Alright fine." Leshawna didn't want to test Naruto and just walked away with a nervous expression.

Naruto glared at her departing figure before he sighed. "Those two are such a handful."

"Yeah." Bridgette agreed with him, having seen firsthand the amount of trouble those two cause once there near each other.

"You would think that they would get along with each since they both essentially the same people." Bridgette said while taking a sip of her drink.

"I wouldn't say there the same." Naruto took a thoughtful look at Leshawna and Heather.

"There both strong, independent women who take no shit from anyone. Aren't they?" Bridgette looked towards Naruto with a raised eyebrow.

"That only the surface level. Once you take a closer look at them, you can see that there like night and day." Naruto took a meaningful glance at Heather as he said this.

"Really?" Lindsay questioned while tilting her head sideways.

"Yep." Naruto nodded before he turned his head towards Lindsay and Dawn.

"You guys might want to fix that problem before it gets out of hand." Naruto motioned to the strained relationship between Heather and Leshawna.

"We should, it is very much a ticking time bomb." Dawn nodded with Naruto comment, seeing the possible dangers that it could bring.

"Should we do some team building exercises during the break?" Dawn turned to Lindsay for confirmation.

Lindsay thought about it for a moment before something came to her mind.

"What if we had a party with everyone, we could get to know everyone and improve our relationship." Lindsay excitedly suggested while looking at Dawn.

"That could be a good idea." Dawn nodded while thinking it over, it was a promising idea and very possible to achieve the desired effect.

"Okay, let do it." Dawn agreed with Lindsay idea after long consideration.

"Oh, this is great. I can wait for the party." Lindsay giggled while jumping around in joy.

"Bridgette, would you like to join us." Dawn looked at the surfer girl and invited her.

"But I'm in the opposite team." Bridgette looked towards Dawn with a confused expression.

"Yes, but doesn't mean we can't be friends." Dawn extended her hand towards Bridgette in a friendly manner.

"I think you should do it." Dawn and Bridgette looked towards Naruto as he patted the surfer girl on the back.

"Don't close your eyes towards opportunity to make friends everywhere." Naruto advised with a wise tone.

"You may just find life-longs friend with it." Naruto smiled while looking down at Bridgette.

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Brigette agreed while tucking her hair behind the back of her ear.

"So, where is it going to be held?" Bridgette as the two, though her question left them both speechless.

The two girls looked at each other worried faces while Naruto laughed a little and shook his head.

"You guys can use my place if you want." Naruto suggested, wanting to help the two girls with their dilemma.

"Really?!" Lindsay brought up to Naruto face with a hopeful expression.

"Yes." Naruto nodded with a bright smile.

"Oh, thank you naru." Lindsay hugged her best friend while thanking him.

"It no problem at all." Naruto said while hugging Lindsay back.

"Well, I guess that the plan." Bridgette said before finishing the last of her drinks.

"Alright, let get back to the party." Naruto said, ready to fully party on with the group.

The three girls nodded and walked with Naruto towards the campfire.
