Three months have passed after class 2-A was summoned to this world. Each summoned student has their way of adapting to their new world. Ryo, Masato, Yurika, and Ichika were a tight-knit group before being summoned, and now with their room set up for only four people, they had grown even closer. They were highly favored by the kingdom and expected to be the strongest group in their class. Because of that, their treatment was much better than others, but their training was also harsher.

As for Seiji and Miki, their room wasn't very spacious and only contained a single double bed. They wanted to get a room change, but decided against it once the kingdom given another option of sharing a room with their bully, Yajima. Since the kingdom had a low expectation of them, their training was useless. Their skill trainers knew nothing about summoners or tamers, it resulted in their slow growth of skills and levels. With their low level, the kingdom excluded them from raiding the nearby dungeon with Ryo's group on the grounds that it was too dangerous for them.

On the other hand Yajima was treated much more better than Seiji and Miki. Because of his unique skills the kingdom granted him many leniencies. If he didn't want to practice then no one would force him or advised him to do so. If he wants something then the kingdom would try to fulfill it. Then if he wanted to get stronger he just had to wait for Ryo's group spoil from the dungeon and eat it. He treated like king in this kingdom.

While others had expectations – even if it was a little – from the kingdom, there was one person the kingdom had no expectations of. That person was Yuzuki, due to his low status and no unique skills, his treatment was no better than that of Seiji and Miki. His room best described as a prison. Afraid of the backlash from other students, the king explained that it was only a temporary arrangement until a new room was prepared for him. However, even after three months had passed, his room was still the same.

During that time, Yuzuki didn't spend his time complaining to the king but instead he researched in the library in hopes of finding a way to return to their world. Unfortunately, things weren't as good as he'd wanted it to be. Instead of learning about magic to teleport them back immediately, he must learn about written language first. Unlike speech, the written text was not automatically translated, so he had no choice but to learn about the language first. Fortunately, he is a fast learner, so it only took him three month to learn enough about it to read some of the book.

Yuzuki woke up early in the morning after he heard a knock on his bedroom door. He got up sluggishly and then opened the door. Yuzuki jolted up awake when he saw a muscular knight in front of him.

"Hero Yuzuki, the king summoned you to the throne room." the knight said.

"Eh, what happened? The king never once called me, why suddenly he called me? Am I in danger." thought Yuzuki.

"If you want to prepare yourself please do it quickly. The king is awaiting your presence."

"Ah, I'm sorry."

the knight looked at Yuzuki, "It looked like you are ready, please follow me."

Then Yuzuki hastily followed behind the knight. Their journey was a quiet one, neither of them started a conversation. Yuzuki felt awkward about it, luckily his room wasn't far from the throne room so he didn't have to endure it for long.

The knight opened the door and entered first. When he got near the king sitting on the throne, he knelt down. Following the knight Yuzuki also knelt down.

"My lord, I have arrived with the Hero Yuzuki."

"Good, you may now go back to your post."

The knight stood up and then left the room. Yuzuki who had learned a lot about this world's etiquette, was still on his knees waiting for the king's instructions. While waiting his mind goes overdrive.

"Where is my other classmate? Why there is only the king and the minister here? Where everyone else? Is something bad going to happen to me? Are they going to eliminate me quietly?"

"Hero Yuzuki, you may now stand up." The king said.

Following the king's instruction Yuzuki stood up.

"Hero Yuzuki, I'm calling you this early to give you an important task."

"Uhm.. I'm sorry to disturb you, my King. But if it's an important task, would it be better to give it to one of your reliable knight and not a weakling like me?"

"Hero Yuzuki, you should have some more confidence the king is requesting you because none of the knight capable of completing the task." The minister beside the king said.

"Ah, yeah, you're right. I'm sorry, my King."

Then Yuzuki bowed to the king.

"Good," The king nodded. "Hero Yuzuki, let me explain the task that I'm going to give you. One day ago two of your friend, the summoner and the tamer has decided to be independent and left this kingdom in the morning. We have tried to persuade them, but they didn't want listen to us. Fortunately, they are still not leaving this kingdom's vicinity so we can still track their location. Because of that, I want you to go to them and persuade them to stay in this castle and train harder." The king snapped his hand, and then a male wearing white clothes instantly appeared beside Yuzuki. "Follow him if you want to know where they are."

"Yes, my King, I will complete the task you are given to me." Yuzuki said.

"Great, you may now leave."

Then Yuzuki and the man left the throne room, and soon they headed to the Inn where Seiji and Miki were sleeping. Their journey was the same as when Yuzuki walked with the knight. This time Yuzuki didn't feel awkward because he was busy preparing for his persuasive talk when he met the two of them.

"Ugh, what should I tell them? I hate to admit but I'm not that close to make them listen to me." Yuzuki raffled his hair. "Wait a minute, why am I thinking to persuade them when I don't even know their reason and circumstance for leaving the castle. Maybe it is because of the king attitude that they decide to leave the castle. Yeah that must be their reason. I should find a way to talk privately with them."

After a few minute had passed, they arrived at the Inn where Seiji and Miki were sleeping. This Inn has two floors unlike the surrounding buildings which only have one floor. There is a hanging sign with a drawing of a bed near the top of the door. When Yuzuki entered the Inn, there is a counter at the end of the hall and a doorway leading to the dining room on the right side.

Then the man in white clothes bring out a badge and showed it to the female receptionist. The female receptionist responded with a nod.

"Let's go, they are on the second floor." Said the man.

Yuzuki followed behind him toward the second floor. They stopped at a distinct white door unlike the other room.

The man was going to knock, but Yuzuki stopped him, "Uhm… Can you leave me talk with them alone? I am afraid they will not be persuaded if you are present."

"As you wish, Hero Yuzuki. I will wait at the receptionist desk. Please, inform me at the inn's door when you are done."

"Ok, got it."

Yuzuki knocked on the door after the man went downstairs.

"Who's there?" Someone in the room said.

"It's me Yuzuki,"

Seiji opened the door's room, Inside Yuzuki saw Miki put some food into a small pouch. From Yuzuki reading, he knew that the small pouch must be a magic pouch that was bigger inside than outside.

"Is there something you need from us?" Seiji said.

"Ah, there is something I want to talk with the two of you. It's okay if I go inside?"

"It's okay, but please make it quick since we are going to left this kingdom."

Yuzuki entered their room and then closed the door.

"Can the two of you tell me your reason for leaving the kingdom?"

"Yuzuki, do you know how they treat us there?" Seiji asked.

"From what I heard, it is only a little better than treatment to me."

"NO! We treated way worse than you!" Miki shouted angrily.

"Ah, I'm sorry to underestimate it. But still even if we treated badly we must endure it, since it is better to have the kingdom protection even if it was minimal. Isn't that what the class president Ryo said to us."

"Endure it?! You don't even know how we are treated differently than the rest of them. Everyday our trainer told us that we are useless. Heck, they don't even know anything about summoner or tamer. Unlike the class president group where they given pointer how to develop their skill, we got nothing from our trainer. If you are here to persuade then you definitely failed to do so. I will continue our preparation, you can discuss it more with Seiji."

"B-But…"

"Stop it, Yuzuki. I know you are worried about us. But I think we know enough from the novels we read about how to survive in a world like this. It is not like we are the first one who did this though."

"Eh? There is someone else who left the castle."

"Yes," Seiji took one of the bag and took out a drawing of a female child with a ribbon on her hair, "Do you know who this girl is?"

"No, and I don't think that girl present in our class."

"Figures. This girl is Rumia, she is one of character in Touhou game series. This is the prove that someone must have a unique skill to transform into Touhou character."

"But there was no one else but us in the classroom, right?"

"No, I remember the guy who always leaving the classroom is sleeping when the summoning happened."

Then realization came to Yuzuki, "AAAH, you are right! That guy still there."

"So that why you don't have to worry about us. If that guy who is an otaku like us can survive in this world then we definitely can too."

"Still, you two don't have to left the kingdom. I promise I will learn faster and found a way to bring us back to our world."

"Are you stupid or what? Even if you can learn faster, there is no way a book about bringing us back will exist in that castle." Miki said while still continuing his preparation.

"Yes, it just like Miki said there is no way that book exist there. I think it is better for you to expand your horizon and search for the book somewhere else."

"I expected that too, and I have a plan for that! When the president group stronger I will ask them to bring me out. So can you two please wait a little bit longer."

"Hey Seiji, I have done our preparation, so we can leave anytime now."

"Ah, Okay. Hey Yuzuki, I will tell you something that could make you feel a little better. Even if you found a way to bring us back to our world, we would not joining you. Our life in that world is not good anyway. See you later, Yuzuki."

Yuzuki who could not think how to persuade them, despaired and frozen in place.

"If only I learn the language faster then this wouldn't happened. Idiot me! why you need to three months to learn about language and it is not even fully understand it. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid."

Yuzuki kept blaming himself for awhile. Then he decided to go down and inform that man about his failure. When he was in front of the man, that man sighed.

"You fail to persuade them, right?"

Yuzuki avoiding eye contact with him and didn't replied.

"I will relay to the king about your failure."

Yuzuki lowered his head.

"You don't have to be depressed since the king has low expectation of your success anyway."

Hearing that Yuzuki felt hurt, "Hey, while you are it please ask the king which book in the library that telling a way to go back to our world."

"I have read a lot of book inside that library and I can tell you that I never once found a book that touch the subject."

"Then everything that I did for the past three month is actually useless, right?"

"Hero Yuzuki, did you want to go back to your world?"

"Of course! Do you think we wanted to be summoned into this world?"

"Hero Yuzuki, I heard a rumor that the Holy sword capable of traveling through dimension. I heard you can get it somewhere inside the Wolf den's. Why don't you try to get it and see if the rumor was true or not. You can get there by using the cart in the east gate of the kingdom. Good luck, I will inform the king about your decision to go to that forest."

In a wolf den forest, Yuzuki is chased by two gray wolves.

"Why did I go this forest alone?! I know that man goaded me, but I'm not a person who will go without any preparation whatsoever" Yuzuki thought while running for his life.

Even though there was quite a distance between him and the wolf, Yuzuki knew the wolf would catch up to him. After all, the wolf had far greater stamina than him, and well adapted to the terrain. The fate that Yuzuki thought was either he runs out of stamina and can't run or he trips and falls, nothing else. Yet despite that negative thought, Yuzuki kept running while hoping for a miracle to happen.

After awhile Yuzuki was running out of breath, tired, and only his adrenaline that kept him running. In the distance he saw something that gave him a renewed vigor to run.

"Is that a wall?"

Seeing the wall Yuzuki sprint toward it. He smiled knowing that this predicament of him would be gone once he reached it. He ran and ran as fast as he could. When he reached the clearing near the wall he tripped by the root of a tree.

"HELP ME!" Yuzuki shouted as loud as he can while closing his eyes.

Once he opened his eyes, Yuzuki despaired. The wall that he thought would lead him to a civilization instead led him to a ruin. Since he can no longer run due to his stamina being drained and his leg hurting, Yuzuki decides to accept the fate that he will die today.

"Such a worthless life, my life is. In the end, I can't do anything to help someone."

However fate was kind to Yuzuki, instead of wolf's teeth he felt, he instead heard the wolf's yelp. He turned around, and saw that one of the wolves that had been chasing him was being bitten by a much larger white wolf. Once the little wolf was dead, it came closer toward Yuzuki. Then took a sniff at him.

"I have a little hope that someone actually help me, but it seemed like it just change what kind of wolf will eat me."

The white wolf bit his collar and then toss him to the air. Yuzuki thought that he would be swallowed whole by the wolf, but that didn't happened. Instead the wolf put him on its back and then carried him deeper into the ruin of the kingdom.

"Where does this wolf will take me? I hope it's not its nest," Yuzuki the looked around. "There is so many abandoned buildings. This place must be a lively place in the past, I wonder what happened that made them abandoned this place?"

After a while, the wolf stopped in front of an exquisite great sword stucked to the ground. Then the wolf dropped Yuzuki to the ground. Since yuzuki has regained some stamina he can stand on the ground again, but it was not enough for him to ran away from the wolf.

"What do you want me to do with this sword?" Yuzuki asked.

The wolf bit the hilt of the sword and tried to lift it with no success.

"So you want me to lift it?"

The wolf nodded.

"What does this wolf want with me exactly. If even it is failed to lift what chance do I have."

With that thought, Yuzuki lift the sword casually without any intention to raised it from where it was. Surprisingly, the sword lifted free from the ground and it shrink to a size that comfortable to Yuzuki. After that, he felt like he was liberated from something. Then a blinding light made him closed his eyes. When Yuzuki could see again, he saw a fair white haired small fairy wearing a yellow one piece dress on top of the sword hilt.

"Pleasure to meet you Hero." The fairy said.

Yuzuki looked around him and found no one else but him and the wolf.

"Did you refer to me?" He said.

"Of course,"

"No that can't be right. I'm not a hero, even today I letdown two of my friends."

"Don't be too harsh on yourself, hero. It must be because of the curse that affected you."

"Curse?"

"Yes, you had an emotion manipulation and instant death curse before you held this sword. But those curse is now dispelled so you don't have to worry."

Hearing that made Yuzuki shocked. Now that he think about it, there were some of his past decision that he would normally not do. Then his body shivered by another realization.

"Wait, if I got cursed, then my friends must under a curse too."

"That should be the case."

"Then please remove their curse too."

"I suggest you don't do that –"

"Why?" Yuzuki screamed to the fairy.

"So loud," The fairy said while closing both her ear with her hand.

"Ah, I'm sorry,"

"No, it's okay you must be worried about them," The fairy released her hand from her ear. "I know you want to save them, but this sword can only dispel negative magic on you only. Not only that, do you remember that I said you have an instant death curse too. I think the one who control you will not hesitated to use it when the emotion curse is lifted. So I don't suggest to dispel their curse."

Yuzuki fallen into despair and his leg gave up. Tears ran down from his cheek, "Ah, So no matter what I did, I couldn't save them. Then again I'm too stupid to do anything right."

The fairy flustered by the suddenly crying Yuzuki. She was not expected that Yuzuki to cries. Though before she could console him, a little girl covered in white fur around her body slapped Yuzuki.

"Stop crying! That sword still have something to say for you."

Yuzuki stared at the fairy, his eyes still showing how deeply he had fallen into despair.

"You are too harsh, Fenrir!"

The little girl that the fairy referred pulling her eyelid down and sticking out her tongue.

"*Sigh*… Then again I'm too harsh to you too. Though I said you must not dispel their curse, but that was for now. There are still a way for you to cure them."

Yuzuki despair gone and his eye full of hope, "Is that true!"

"Yes, if you save someone directly or indirectly then the goddess will give you a point. If you accumulated enough point you can exchange it for a skill. For now try to open your status."

"Open status."

Name : Saki Yuzuki

- Point Exchange (0)

Still remembered the lecture given to him, Yuzuki touched the Point Exchange skill to find out more details about this skill. However, instead of getting an explanation, a window appeared in front of his status panel with the picture of the skill on the left, and its name and the point needed beside it. The more he scrolled down inside it the larger the point needed to exchange it for.

"You must be confused since there must be a ton of skill there, right?" The fairy said.

Yuzuki nodded while scrolling down in the panel.

"You can focusing about the skill that you want to get, and that window will show it to you."

When Yuzuki focused about wanting to remove the curse from his friend, the window changed and showed many skill that include "dispel" in its name. With the amount of the skill that showed up he got confused. he may have play some games to guess the effect some of the skill effect but it was not enough to know all of them.

"Is there still a lot of them? Then I recommend you aim for 'Holy Dispel' skill. That skill could dispel both of the curses at once, a large area of effect and the point is the lowest."

Yuzuki found the skill that the fairy refer to, and quite surprised to see that he need 100.000 points to exchange.

"Does this means I have to save 100.000 people?"

"No, sometimes the goddess will give you more than 1 point depending on who you saved."

"Wait, does that mean every person has different value to the goddess?"

"Of course, for example if you save cold blooded murderer who still wanted to kill more, then it will not give you any point. But if you save a tired person on his way to save people then you will get many points. Like I said before, directly or indirectly."

"So in the end I must become hero. Then can you tell me is this sword is the rumored holy sword?"

"Many people said that to this sword. So I think it is."

"Then can you tell me whether the rumor of this sword capable of travel through dimension?"

"I think it's true to some extent. I mean if you buy the space magic skill then you will capable of doing that."

Yuzuki glad to hear that information from the fairy. Then he focused on his thought about a skill that could helped him to go back to his world. Sadly, the result was not the same as he expected.

"Why did the window did not show any skill?"

"What kind of skill did you think about?"

"A skill to go back to my world."

The fairy gave him a looked of pity, "Unfortunately, that kind of skill did not exist in this world."

"What?"

"But, but, don't cry yet. I know there is another wielder of mine who is gone after combining skill. His situation is the same like yours, he too summoned to this world."

"Really, is that true?"

"Yeah, that's true. But I don't know where he was gone so no promise."

"If there is a possibility, I will try it even if that means I should be a hero," Yuzuki bowed down to the fairy. "Let's work together."

"Sure things. Now your first task will be to get stronger. Fenrir, it is your turn now."

Yuzuki turn around to Fenrir and saw predatory grin on her face while cracking her fist.

"Thought you wouldn't say that. Well, hero I will pent my frustration of letting a little human girl scared me into letting her ride me, so be prepared."

Training with Fenrir at this day would be something that Yuzuki always remembered for the rest of his life.

===========================================================
Somewhere deep inside the castle dungeon, a single young man battered and chained into the wall.

"Please, someone help me. I don't want to eat anymore." said that young man.
