Dominic counted the dollar bills, putting them in the red bag before zipping them up. It was closing time, and the record store was getting ready for the night. Samuel helped wipe down the counter and windows before pulling down the entrance gate. Angelita walked in, coming with a card and a Cinnabon bag. Samuel eyed the bag as he shut the store after she walked in. "Is that for you?" She didn't answer him going straight to Dominic. His nose was in better condition. He was finally able to get it fixed but had to still wear a nose case for a while. She opened the bag and pulled out a box that was written with a kind message. Dominic smiled as he read what it said and gently held one of Angelita's hands. Samuel rolled his eyes at the two continuing to sweep the floor. Dominic then waved at Samuel to approach the cash register, having a mischievous smile and Angelita had the same expression. "Someone lost their wallet." Samuel's usual grumpy attitude quickly changed as Angelita informed him of the situation. The three then shut the doors and went through the back halls to exit the mall, there they headed to the nearest gas station to split up the money. Each one of them were able to get about one hundred and thirty bucks. This didn't include the extra money that Dominic had stolen before he told his friends about the wallet. "We can go buy stuff right now since we all plan on skipping school tomorrow." Samuel nodded and replied, "Works with me. Angel?" The girl laughed and looked at Samuel confused. "You know I'm going to buy shit so why would you even ask me?"

The group then headed to the nearest Walmart to see what they would get. Once arriving, they split off to take their time in getting what they needed. Angelita went straight to the makeup section messing with the pallets and polish that were neatly organized. She opened the polish bottles to get a better look at the colors and did a little swatch on the plastic price tags attached to the shelves. She managed to slide some nail files and stickers into her sweater before leaving the aisle. Dominic wasn't that far away from her, in the hygiene section of the store. He loaded the cart with things he needed like socks, boxers, soap bars, a large 18 pack of toothbrushes, shampoo, and a bunch of snacks. He walked around to see if he needed anything and got a few items for his recovery as well as some Band-Aids. Angelita then came to the aisle, dropping two pajama sets in the cart. She grabbed his arm and looked at him with a serious expression. "I just saw Andrew. We need to hurry." He then followed her as her last few items were good quality feminine hygiene products. After receiving Angelita's text Samuel met them in the bathroom section. In his cart, he had mostly groceries and a few T-shirts. She looked at him a bit concerned. Samuel had been recently using stolen money to buy food rather than to spend it on things he actually wanted. This made her wonder how his mother was doing at work. Samuel was first to buy his items as he went to a regular cashier. Angelita and Dominic then waited 5 minutes before buying from the self-checkout station. Samuel had slowly made his way to the exit as he saw Andrew leaving with his friends. The alarm went off as they both went past the first set of doors. Samuel stayed calm as the boys got loud. He tried to think of a quick plan as the employee approached him. He confidently showed her his receipt in which she took a glance at it. The older woman nodded and said, "Goodnight." Another employee standing looked the Andrew, then to Samuel. "I'm glad you're not like them." Samuel raised his eyebrows and scoffed, "I could never be friends with a bloke like him. I've already got to go to school with him and he gives my mates a hard time." A little smirk came across Samuel's face as he approached the exit. Andrew and his friends were banging on the vending machine as it took the money and got stuck. "Man fuck this." One of Andrew's friends had then kicked the machine to where another alarm went off. The older woman stormed towards the group of boys as there was a loud beeping sound going off the front entrance.

"That's what those fuckers get." The three had devoured a pack of pink frosted cookies in Dominic's car. Samuel was keeping tabs on what had occurred since Dominic and Angelita left from the other side of the store. Dominic leaned close to Samuel suggesting what he wanted to know what Samuel had stolen. The punk gently lifted his pullover exposing chains that were stolen from the craft section. He took patches out of his pockets and a few individual lighters. "Wow. You're better than me…" Angelita grabbed a bag of chips to share. They continued eating snacks and enjoying the time together. Dominic looked at him signing, "You didn't want to buy anything you'd do now?" Samuel smirked responding with a lot of sass. "Oh yeah, like your box of rubbers, you're going to use later?" His pale face flushed red, and Angelita shot him a look of surprise. "HEY! That's our business!" She playfully slapped Samuel's hand as he went in to grab more chips. "It's not like I have a girlfriend to do it with… Well, I don't particularly need a girlfriend. But still, I'm not tied down." He looked down at his chocolate bar, breaking a piece off and putting it in his mouth. "Didn't you sleep with Marie from that one class?" Dominic asked him curious to see if it was close to blooming to anything serious. "Yeah, and she was the one that told me it was going to be a one-time thing. Now she's breathing down my neck trying to see me every chance she gets." Angelita giggled at the statement. "But that's a good thing, right? You two are just casual?" Samuel frowned and shrugged his shoulders. "I mean it would have if she didn't get attached. She was going to be my partner for my project but even if it was the other way, we would've gotten nothing done. I need to take this class seriously anyway. I don't need any distractions." Angelita nodded her head. "So, is that why you asked Antonia to be your partner for the history project?" Samuel gave her a death glare before swallowing his food. Dominic tried to hide his smile and sat facing his girlfriend. "Well, I chose her to do the project because I know she has to be smart. She even went to private school and everything, so she had probably been taught more than we do in these prison cells." Samuel tried to keep his cool, thankfully it was nighttime and there was a little light that exposed his warm face. "Oh okay." She was quiet for an odd amount of time, which bothered the hell out of him. He finally said, "Why do you ask?" Angelita grinned wide and began to play with a stress ball she bought. "Well, she seems like she'd be your type, and you two seem to actually get along pretty well." The girl cocked her head to the side and added on, "She is nicer than her friends and she's really pretty. Probably one of the prettiest girls I've ever met." Angelita's voice softened, indicating that she was being genuine with Samuel. "Her mates would kill me if I breathed too hard. She's friends with a bunch of bloodhounds. I wouldn't try anything with her. And I don't know if I'd try to hit it. She seems like she'd trap a guy." The girl began to frown, she wasn't convinced by what Samuel had said. She too had heard some nasty rumors that were spread about the goth, but she chose to ignore them. Angelita wasn't the type to judge a girl based on what other people had to say about them. She looked at her boyfriend, "You ready to go?" Dominic leaned over and gently planted a kiss on her cheek. The three finally were on their way home after a successful night.
