Author Note :

Sorry for taking a long time again, but you know I actually wanted to rush this chapter when I saw the follower of this story reached 100. I wanted to do self-congratuling and some bla bla bla. But, 3 weeks I tried to rush, I only writed around 5 parapragh, and that counting 2 dialogue too. Though I think the reason I did that because I rarely read again, and my standard become too high to the point no fanfic or web novel is interest me. Only after forcing myself reading some fanfic here and web novel at novelupdates I managed to lower my standard and continuing the story. well enough of that here, I will continue it on bottom

NovaOfBeginning : We had our discussion, but I'll tell to other that I probably will not repeat character (thought that depend on the story) since the main focus of this story is to jammed in as many touhou character as possible without making it too weird. (Well, good luck me). So each character will have 1 arc.

Nixolas Zinn : Thanks I hope you still enjoy the story, though I think my quality dropped again, I'm sorry for that. Did you know I made this fanfic is because something else than writing, The reason I made this, I will tell you in bottom part.

Sorry for the long rant, but I will do it again later in the bottom. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

While riding on the back of the dragon, Patchouli reading a book she got from the mage. The content is about skills and how to obtain them. She read the book with disinterest as it focused more on the requirement for gaining a skill than on the theory behind it.

"Did you want me to tell you how to obtain my skills by giving this book?" Patchouli asked the mage.

"Ahaha, I guess it was too obvious, but yes, that is my intention. If you don't mind could you tell me how you obtain the flight skill? It's a skill that I always want to have, but no book mentioned about how to get it." The mage replied.

"All of my skills were given by someone, so I don't know how I got it. But after I read this book, I can guess that the condition should be floating in the air for a long time."

"Hmm...make sense, I should try that later."

"Hey, it looked like we almost arrived at the kingdom." The dragon said.

Patchouli could sense that she passed some kind of mana barrier shortly after the dragon said that. Then a sound of a bell ringing loudly from the kingdom direction.

"What did we just passed?"

"As expected of my master, you can feel the barrier when I never managed to do that." The mage then saw Patchouli looked at him with contempt. "Ahem... I'm sorry, anyway, that must be the magic device for the early warning system. It will automatically sound the alarm when a big monster with great mana coming near the kingdom whether they are friendly or not."

"Haha! Human and they strange contraption. The kingdom must be in a panic because of it now." The dragon said.

"Yeah, and I don't think you can go inside now. It will only add more chaos in the kingdom."

"You hear it from him. Sorry that I can only take you until the gate."

"It's fine. I don't mind walking from the gate toward the coliseum. Maybe on the way there, I find an interesting person."

Before they reached the gate, Patchouli saw the mage using Illusion magic on his whole body. He now looked more like a young traveling merchant than an old magician.

"Are you doing that for your protection?"

"No, I do this to avoid any adventurer who wanted to get some skill from me," The mage then sighed, "It's very inconvenient when you are known as someone who will give skill for free."

At the gate, Patchouli saw many peoples lined up. She looked at them with disinterest since all of them have a negligible amount of mana. The mage and the dragon began to joke with each other beside her. She noticed it by the mage's expression and a mana line between them.

"Since the dragon can't go any further than this, can we go to the coliseum immediately? I want to hurry up to the library in this kingdom." Patchouli interrupted them.

"Oh yes, I'm sorry." The mage said.

The dragon lowered her head, then Patchouli and the mage got off from the dragon.

"I will take my leave now. See you again later."

When the dragon flying away, many adventurers sighed a breath of relief. Most of them knew the dragon's identity and were glad that it didn't come to attack the kingdom. But now, they are curious about the person who rode on the back of the dragon.

Before any of them come close to Patchouli, a muscular bald man with heavy armor walked toward her first. From Patchouli's inspection, the man had a minuscule amount of mana. She concluded that man must be a warrior.

"Oh, even the guild master is come here because of that false alarm. Let me handle this one, master." whispered the mage to Patchouli.

Patchouli sighed when the mage called her master. She had told him multiple times to stop using calling her master, but it seemed it doesn't stick with him.

From their conversation, Patchouli could tell that the mage seemed does not like the guildmaster. While the guildmaster trying to command them to come to the guild. Like the mage, she got irritated when the guildmaster blame her and the mage for the alarm when it is not their fault.

"Sorry, but we weren't the ones causing it. This situation all happened because of that faulty early warning magic device. Now, can you let us through since we are in a hurry!" The mage said.

The guildmaster got shocked and then move aside, "I'm sorry, I may have phrased it badly. but please can the lady over there come to the guild after you have done with your business?"

"Well, I might go there if I found there are no interesting books in the library."

"Then it's good. Anyway, since the guild and the coliseum are in the same direction, you won't mind if I tag along?"

"I won't mind, but can we just go now," Patchouli said.

"Well, if my master okay with it, then I'm okay too." the mage said

After that, the guildmaster giving a sign to all the adventurers in the gate to leave. Everyone complied and turned back inside the kingdom.

Their walk toward the coliseum is uneventful. Many adventurers they passed wanted to go and asked Patchouli who she is and how she managed to ride on the sacred dragon's back. But with the guild master escorted her, none of them come near her.

"We have arrived. Now, can you leave us and go to your guild already." The mage said.

"Is the hostility needed? Why you hate me so much?" The guild master said.

"Why?! Don't tell me you forget what happened in the past?"

"What happened between us?"

"Then let me remind –"

"Can we hurry up registering? I want to visit the library faster." Interrupted Patchouli.

"Ah yes, I'm sorry," The mage apologized to Patchouli, then he looked at the guildmaster. "I will remind you later."

After that, Patchouli and the mage go inside the coliseum. Fortunately for them, no one is lining up to register at the tournament, so they could immediately go to the registration desk. Behind the registration desk, a man wearing a black robe is reading a book. The mage cleared his throat, causing the man to look at them and immediately tidying up.

"Ahahaha, I'm sorry you have to see that. Did you two going to register?"

"No, it's my master here who will register at the tournament."

"Hmm, I see. Sorry, but I think you are too late to register for the mage tournament."

"Oh really, according to the poster, today is the last day to register." The mage said.

"Well, yes, but no one bothered to register at the tournament this late. After all, everyone knows, if you register this late, you will not make it to the tournament."

"I have a way to make sure that my master can join the tournament. But first, I need you to register her."

"Okay then, but don't get disappointed if you are not seeing your name joining the tournament."

The man then took out a crystal ball and then placed it on top of the desk.

"Put your hand on the crystal ball, and it will show me what kind of skill you had since I need to know whether you had magic skills or not."

When Patchouli put her hand on the crystal ball, she could feel some familiar feeling. The feeling that is the same when her magic is going to materialize. Her mana flow is creating some pattern inside her before going inside the crystal ball.

She got curious about it, so she manipulated the flow of mana and then sent it to the ball. The result was just like what she had thought will happened. The information projected on top of the crystal showed the skill that she wanted it to display. Even dark magic, a skill that she doesn't have, showed up in it too.

"How you do that! I never heard anyone managed to make this crystal changing the skill this instantly." The man said.

"As expected of my master, you managed to do something no one did. But, Uhm... can you stop and show us your real one."

So Patchouli stopped her experiment and letting the crystal ball inspect her, "Is that all I need to do?"

After recovering from his shock the man behind the desk said, "Yes, that's all. You can see the result whether you are joining or not, on the board that will be placed here or in the mage guild a day before the tournament begins. Though it was regretful for you to register this late, I want to see your performance."

"So can I go now?"

"Yes, you can leave this place. Leave the rest to me." The mage instantly replied.

Patchouli exited the coliseum and wondering her option to go to the library. From Iyan's memories, the distance between the library and here is quite far. She could fly to shorten that distance, but based on what she saw, doing that will only attract unwanted attention since no one capable of flying.

She could use illusion while flying, but someone who got a good sense of magic will spot something wrong in the sky and got suspicious by it. If that happened, she would attract another kind of attention which she would rather not have. Patchouli sighed. If flying is not an option then she doesn't have anything else other than walking.

At the nearest junction, Patchouli found a building that Iyan was interested in, a school for a mage. She got curious about the capabilities of the students in this school, so she used magic to inspect them. She was amazed by the result, this world had a better magician apprentice than her own original place.

Unfortunately, her scout magic did not leave undetected. Two people in the school reacted to her magic. One is a human male student inside the school, while the other one is a long-eared girl in front of the school door. The long-eared person then suddenly rushed toward Patchouli, jumping over the people and the fence.

"Your control of mana is amazing! This is the second time I could feel someone controlling mana so precise!" She excitedly said when she was in front of Patcholi.

Because of how tall the girl is, Patchouli needed to look up to see her face. Patchouli was surprised to see that the girl looked very excited at her rather than harbor some suspicion.

Before Patchouli could said anything, the girl continue her rambling, "Say, I never see you around here. You must be a traveler, right?! Then I suggest you join the mage tournament. With that kind of control, I bet you will win with ease."

"I have registered for that tournament. For now, I only need to wait for the result whether I will join or not."

"Oh, that is good. Could you tell me your name? Wait, that rude of me to not tell my name first. Just call me Ellysia. So can you tell me your name now?"

"Patchouli knowledge."

"Then Patchouli it is. Now Patchouli you don't need to see the result. You will join that tournament, and I will make sure that happened."

"Uhm...Thanks?"

Patchouli wondered what made the girl so sure that her promise would be fulfilled. Does that girl had any connection to that tournament or does she have a position that enabled her to do so? While Patchouli wondering about the girl, a butler ran toward them.

"My lady, please don't go away suddenly like that." The butler said.

Ignoring the butler she asked Patchouli again, "Say, Patchouli where do you will go after this?"

"The library."

"That still far from here. Hey, how about you use my carriage?"

Getting that offer made Patchouli glad that she used her magic, "Then I will take your offer."

"But mistress, we are going to the mage guild." The butler protested.

"Just take her to the library, and then tell the people at the mage guild that I would be coming late."

"But-"

"No, but! just do it!" Ellysia said with a stern voice.

The butler sighed showing that he gave up trying to change her master mind "Then lady Patchouli come this way."

Patchouli followed behind the butler and walked toward where Allysia's carriage is. Her carriage is a luxurious horse-drawn carriage, something that a noble always use. Four flags, with a symbol of staff and magician robe, are placed on top of the carriage. The butler opened the door and gesturing at Patchouli to get inside.

Without hesitation, Patchouli goes inside the carriage. She knew this would draw attention to her, but for her, it was better than walking. While on the ride, Patchouli continues reading the book she got from the mage. Though since the library not that far away when using the carriage, the door to the carriage got opened first before she could finish the book.

"We have arrived, lady Patchouli." The butler said.

Patchouli closed the book and stored it in her own dimensional pocket. Then she got out of the carriage.

"Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go to the mage guild."

"Please convey my thanks to your master."

The butler nodded and then leaving with the carriage.

The building that is in front of her is the library. It is as wide as the scarlet devil mansion. It even has the same structure too, but painted white, without the clock tower and gate. In front of the entrance, two guards are holding a pike protecting the library entrance. If only Iyan hadn't mistaken this place for an adventure guild and stepped inside, Patchouli would never have known that this was a library.

Unlike the scarlet devil mansion, the inside of this library is not larger than the outside appearance. There are many windows too, causing this library brighter than her own, something that she despises. Not only that, there are not as many shelves of books as the mansion's library. Fortunately, this library has a category sign written on top of each row of shelf. If that sign didn't exist, she will waste so much time trying to find a book about magic.

After Patchouli found the magic category, she took a book with the title "The basic magic for beginner" from the shelves. She chose this book because she wanted to know what is considered basic in this world.

She frowned after opening the book. The book content is full of images and some cartoonish characters. From her experience, this kind of book always avoiding so much detail. So she closed the book and search for another one.

The book she took this time still had the word 'beginner' in it, but it was a thick book. She was satisfied when the content of the book is full of text. She read the book from the beginning of its page until the end, then after done reading it, she put it back and search for another one.

In the afternoon, Patchouli finished reading her fifth book. She found quite a lot amount of information from the books. Written in the books she has been read, this world's magic took form as a skill. Those skills were bestowed to everyone by the gods. One book even said, that if you pray to a certain god, it will be easier to get a skill that is related to that god.

"Quite a generous gods this world have. They are similar to the Moriya's god, giving power in exchange for faith. Though the last time they give power to that hell raven, it ended up badly for them. I wonder if something similar had happened in this world too."

As she was about to get another book in other section, the adventurer guild master walked toward her.

"I was right. You are still here. I'm worried since you never came to the guild. I thought that you had left somewhere else."

"Is there something you need from me?"

"Yes, but let's sit first."

Then the guildmaster sat on the chair and gestured at Patchouli to sit on the opposite side.

Patchouli sighed. She had a feeling that this conversation will take a long time. She could leave and ignore him, but she knew it is better to deal with this kind of person now than later. So she took one book and sat down on the chair.

"Can you closed that book first?"

"Just tell me what you wanted to tell me, I will listen," Patchouli said while didn't spare a glance at him and continuing to the next page of the book.

"Ugh...fine. I come here to recruit you as the adventurer." He stopped for a while to looked at Patchouli's reaction, only to met with her kept reading the book.

"Is she doesn't care even if I'm the one who invited her personally?" He thought. "If you agree now, I could made you B-Rank adventurer right away."

He stopped and looked again, still no reaction from Patchouli. "You will get permission to enter the dungeon and get material from the monster you killed there."

He looked again and saw Patchouli peeked out a little from her book, so he continued, "Not only that, I will make sure you join the tournament."

After he said that, Patchouli goes back to read again.

"Heh! Is that all the adventurer guild could offer." Said a girl.

She is a tall girl with blonde hair and a long ear. She reminded Patchouli to Ellysia, but younger and shorter.

The girl came near Patchouli then bowed, "Good afternoon, miss Patchouli, my name is Allysia, the assistant and daughter of Ellysia, the guildmaster of mage guild. I come here as per my mother's request to invite you to join the mage guild. We will give you more benefit than what he offered to you."

"Such as?" Patchouli asked.

"Along with the benefit that the guildmaster here said. We will give you a place to live that is near to here. It is very spacious too, so you could use it to do whatever magic experiment you need. It may be far from the coliseum, but when the tournament starts, we will escort you there."

"Are there books in your place?"

"Yes, there are many books at the mage guild's building. Most of them are about magic, something that you will find interesting."

"Then I will register there."

"I'm glad you accepted our offer, but registering can wait for tomorrow. You must be tired because of your journey. You should rest at the place we are going to offer you."

When Patchouli was going to stand up, the guildmaster said, "Please wait a minute. I know my offer may not as good as the mage guild offer, but can you join us as well. After all, there is no rule about joining multiple guilds."

"Persistent aren't you! What do you need from her anyway?"

"The guild gave me a task to recruit any strong person. She capable of blocking my appraisal, so she must be strong. My instinct told me that too."

Patchouli could hear Allysia muttered, "So you too, huh." She can't believe those two trying to pry someone's secret without trying to be discreet about it. Though, she could tolerate it as they must doing that because they are cautious of her. Still, if this goes on, this pointless conversation will get longer.

"That is not all you need from me, right. Could you state what you need me for? I want to end this pointless conversation faster."

Getting rebuked harshly by Patchouli made the guildmaster shocked. He then looked at Patchouli sharply, "Then I'll tell you. I need your help with the current insect dungeon situation that happened in Bronza kingdom."

"So you want me to join you because you wanted to enforce some bothersome task to me. I'm sorry, even if I joined the guild, I would refuse it." Patchouli then looked at Allysia, "So can we go now?"

"Then follow me," Allysia said.

Allysia bowed at the guildmaster before walking away from the library.

The carriage that they ride on is similar to Ellysia's carriage. Inside it, Patchouli and Allysia sit in front of each other.

Patchouli looked outside the window, "Huh, it looked like he didn't desperate enough to chase after me."

"It probably because the incident with the insect dungeon will succeed even if you are not there. After all, I heard the flame hero is the one who will do it. He is a capable individual, so I think even if it's only him, it will end up in success."

"Then he asked me just to become a reserve if something bad happened. The more reason I'm glad I refused, and I don't want to work under someone like him."

"Haha, I know he is an authoritarian person, but he was what this kingdom adventurer guild needed. Without him, the adventurer guild will be more fit to be labeled as a bandit than an adventurer. so please can you forgive him."

"Fine, I'm not that much interested in him anyway."

After that, they spent the rest of their travel in silence.

"Oh, it looked like we have arrived," Allysia said.

Patchouli got out of the carriage and saw a large mansion ahead of her. Just like Allysia promised, this mansion has a spacious front yard, with no surrounding home neighbor it. Though, there is something not as they promised.

"Isn't this place far from the library?"

"We are very sorry," Allysia said while bowing down, "This place is the only one that we managed to find where there is a lot of space around it. If you don't like it, we can go to the other one, it not as spacious and quiet as this one, but it placed near the library."

"Then I prefer this one, but it looked dirty, and I don't see any servant."

"We could not find a trustworthy servant, so Uhm... can you use your magic to clean it up?"

"You just wanted to see me using magic, right? Well, having to summon one is not a bad idea, and it much better than a normal human servant too."

"Summon? What she is going to summon?" Allysia thought.

Allysia then followed Patchouli goes toward the mansion's front yard. She saw Patchouli closed her eyes and chanting some weird language that she never heard. In the duration of Patchouli chanting, she could feel the flow of mana from Patchouli moving wildly and randomly like something missing in between the movement.

Then a magic circle formed on the ground. It was so small that it could only fit a person in it. But she could sense something coming toward the magic circle, something that had the same amount of mana or even more than the sacred dragon.

"Did she summoned something beyond her power? My mother said she was more capable of handling mana than her. Did she make a mistake in her judgment? Should I stop her?"

Before Allysia could do something, a blinding light flashed in the magic circle, causing her to closed her eyes. When she opened it again, she was shocked. The figure that appeared in Patchouli's summoning circle was beyond what she had expected. It was a humanoid monster with an angelic wing on its left side and a demonic wing on its right side.

"A fallen angel!" Allysia blurted out.

The fallen angel looked at her, causing her to shudder, and instinctively took a step back. His gaze then shifted to Patchouli.

"I believe you are the one who summoned me. My name is Lucifer, and It's my pleasure to get summoned by someone capable like you."

"Then I, Patchouli Knowledge, will make a contract with you. You will serve me in exchange for me to give you a magic supply once a day. If I break it, then the contract between us will be annulled. Will you accept it?"

"Having to serve you and get paid a magic supply once a day, quite a disadvantage contract for me," Lucifer looked up and thinking, then he stared at Patchouli while grinning, "But I will accept it. I have a feeling serving you will be more interesting than leveling up in the hell realm."

Then the magic circle below Lucifer is gone. Then he immediately kneeling in front of Patchouli, "So what my first task is? It is to destroy this whole kingdom?"

"No, for now, your task is to clean this mansion first."

"As your wish, I will make this mansion spotless."

"Wait a minute! Did you just summon a fallen angel for that?" Allysia asked Patchouli.

"No, he will fetch me a book from the library and making a tea too," Patchouli responded.

"So you summon this strong fallen angel just to become your servant!"

"I'm flattered you call me strong, miss. But for your information, I'm a demon, not a fallen angel."

"Huh?! There's no way you're a demon. My appraisal shows me your race is fallen angel."

"Hm? oh yeah, I just remember that I recently evolved into a fallen angel."

"How does a demon evolved into a fallen angel?! You know what forget it, I'll ask you about this later. You will not mind if I reported this to my mother, lady Patchouli?"

"I don't mind."

She breathed down trying to calmed herself then, "Thanks, and on behalf of the mage guild, I'm very sorry for our inadequate offer. Well then, I will excuse myself. I will come here again tomorrow to escort you to our guild, so please don't go anywhere."

Patchouli nodded confirming that she won't go far away from the mansion. Then Allysia bowed down then turned around. Before she could get far away from them, she overheard something outrageous from them.

"This mansion is quite wide. Should I summon another one to help you cleaning?" Patchouli asked the demon.

"No, you don't have to waste your mana, master. I can summon familiar, so it's not a problem."

"You can still summon more, even after summoned that strong demon?! Who is she, and where did she hide all this time?" Allysia thought while walking further away from them.

After Allysia's carriage leaving the mansion vicinity, more than ten imps are cleaning the hallway and rooms of the mansion. Supervising them was the summoned demon Lucifer. He scrubbed his hand on where the imp has cleaned and was satisfied by their result. He stopped in front of one of the rooms in the mansion,

and looked at his master reading a book inside the room.

"To think I got called by her summon magic and getting told that I'm weaker by it. I wonder what other interesting thing will this master of mine show me."

Inside a luxurious mansion room in the Mashi kingdom, a fat man is laughed heartily. In his hand, a magic bag was shaken roughly by him. The man creepily smiles each time he stopped shaking the bag. Even though the bag did not make any sound, the man still creepily smiled as if he could hear the sound of coins colliding in the bag.

"Hahaha, I'm quite a good talker. Just by making two peoples enter the tournament, I managed to get 500 gold coins. Those fool in the committee didn't even realize that my first suggestion is some random person."

Then a knock on his door while he was laughing, turning his mood badly.

"What is it!" He screamed at the door.

"I'm sorry, but there is a guest for you. He said he is an elder mage of the sacred mountain."

"oh, it seemed the goddess smile at me. To think I will receive a skill on top of money." He thought, "Then guide him to the guest room."

His mood turned good again. He smiled while preparing to meet his guest. Even though he doesn't know whether it was the elder mage or not, but he still going there without hesitation.

The guest room of his mansion is another luxurious room. Many expensive things are displayed on the wall to show the guest how rich he is. The couch for the guest is not a cheap thing too. It cost him quite a fortune to get an expensive-looking and comfy one. Sitting on that couch is the elder mage waiting for his arrival.

"I'm sorry to make you wait. I wonder what pleasure do I owe for this sudden visit from the elder mage." He said.

"I'm sorry for my sudden visit, I'm coming here because I want you to make this participant join it." The mage then slides down Patchouli's paper toward him. "I believe you had the power to do so, right?"

"I do have that power, but I'm sorry I can't do that. To make a change, I need to have an agreement from all of the committee members, since the roost has been finalized. I can't make a change on my whim because it will not be fair to them."

Rather than getting angry, the mage instead smiled at him, "Just as I thought, I don't have that much power to change your decision. But I want you to keep that and don't mix it with the others. There will be a member of royalty coming here, so be prepared to make that change."

Then the mage standing up and leaving the room.

"Bah! Who the hell that mage thinks he is! He comes here just to threaten me. Me! As if I will get scared by that empty threat, there is no way a royalty will hear some shabby-looking mage like him." Then he looked at Patchouli's registration paper, "Huh, this one is good, though if only that mage more polite with me, then I might consider her to join. But," He slammed Patchouli's paper to the desk, "You won't get into the tournament. Next time, hire someone better if you wanted to go tournament, hahaha."

He then lean back onto the back of the couch, but his mood didn't turn any better since this was the first time someone insults him that much.

"Hey! I need a tea, now!" He shouted at one of the maids.

The maid calmly bowed down and left the room. Before his tea got served to him, one of his guards appeared to him.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, but another guest wanted to meet you."

He sighed, "Who is it this time?"

"The guildmaster of the mage guild, Ellysia."

"What!" He shouted. "Don't let her wait any longer! Let her comes here."

"Yes!"

Not long after that, He could see the tall elf Ellysia entering the room.

"I'm sorry, my guard makes you wait. Please sit down." He said while gesturing her to the couch.

"It's okay. The guards are just doing their job." She said.

Before she could sit on the couch, a paper on the desk interested her.

"Oh, It looked like my visit here will be short. Good thing, since I'm in a hurry too. I will tell you straight what I want." She then took out the paper on the desk. "Make sure this one joined the tournament."

"Uhmm...I'm sorry, but I can't just—"

Before he could finish his word, Ellysia interrupted him, "Ah! I don't have for any debate! I know you have that power to change it whimsically, and I know you're the head of the committee so just do it. If she did not make it into the tournament, the mage guild would never be sponsoring any tournament anymore."

He got panicked because losing the mage guild sponsor will cause him lose a lot of income. "I may be the head of the committee, but I can't just—"

Ellysia interrupted him again, "Just make it happened! While you're at it, made me a judge of that competition too. Now, I will excuse myself. I need to go to the mage guild's meeting."

After that, Ellysia put down the paper and immediately left the room. He wanted to stop her, but he was scared that will made her angry. Shortly after Ellysia left the room, the maid - who made the tea -come back and put down the tea on the table.

"Aargh! What is wrong with that woman? I really can't change the tournament participant that easily. If I did that, I would make an enemy of my fellow committee and the noble they are backing."

In his fit of rage, he swiped the tea glass off the table. The sound of the glass shattered managed to calm him down a bit.

"Clean this mess up," He said to the previous maid.

Then something came up to his mind, "Hmm, maybe if I replaced the adventurers that do not have any backing, I could fit her into the tournament."

Then his guard appeared at the front of the entrance. He immediately stood up when he saw the adventurer guildmaster showed up behind the guard.

"Another guildmaster!" He exclaimed.

"As I thought, she is coming here too. Does she comes because of someone named Patchouli?"

"Yes."

He got a little happy, hoping maybe this time, it is someone who opposed the girl to join the tournament. But that hope shattered by the next thing the guildmaster said.

"Then I bet she wanted that girl to join the tournament too, and if I heard correctly you're going to replace an adventurer participant with her. Is that true?"

"No, no, no! You must have misheard me. I said it a waste to replace any adventurers with unknown girl like her."

"Good! But still, I wanted you to make her join the tournament. I want to observe how strong she is. You will make her joined and not removing any adventurer in it. I trust you will do that, right?" The adventurer guildmaster said while intimidating him.

"Yes!"

"Very good."

After saying that, the guildmaster of the adventurer guild left the entrance of the guest room. Only after he is sure that the guildmaster had gone far away, he started talking again.

"Even the brute supported her?! who the hell is she?"

He sat down and sighed.

"Stop cleaning the mess. I want you to tell the courier to come to my room." He said to the maid

Hearing his command, the maid stopped cleaning and left the guest room.

The next day, when he was going to go out, he saw a royal carriage stopping in front of his mansion. He knew it was a royal carriage because of the insignia on the side of the door. It was the symbol of the country, the drawing of a fire-breathing dragon behind a wand.

Then the carriage's door opened, and the person inside the carriage got out, causing him to get shocked. That person is the prince of this kingdom. He could not believe that the mage really could make the member of the royal family coming here. After recovering from the shock, he immediately bowed down.

"You can raise your head," The prince said.

"Thank you, your majesty," He then stood up, "This is not the best place for us to meet. Please, come inside."

"It's okay. My visit here would not be too long. I come here because our court mage insisted my dad using his power to force someone to join the tournament."

"May I ask who is it?"

"Her name is Patchouli Knowledge."

"Then I will make sure she is joining, and you're very fortunate, I was going to have a meeting with the others from the committee about who will join the tournament. That way, you don't have to waste your time talking to everyone."

"Oh, that's good. Then I will be on my way."

After saying that, the prince got inside his carriage. The man kept bowed down until the carriage is far away from his mansion.

"Haaa, I wanted to discuss with others how to minimize the damage when she didn't join the tournament. But with the royal family asked for her to join," He stopped and looked in the direction where the royal carriage left. "I guess I will share my worry with the others."

Author note :

Before telling my personal reason, I want to ask of you which one do you want me to write first, It is Marisa or Alice? their part can be interchangeable easily so I had a leeway on that. I made the poll! (it only accessible to registered user and it's on my profile, or at least that what the create poll told me, I will close it in three moths since that the longest I made a chapter or until Patchouli's arc is done).

Hurray my story reached more than 100 follower, something beyond my expectation. My expectation of this story is actually very low, so low that I expect the only one who read this will be me (I am a pessimistic person).

Since that happened, I will tell you fun fact about why I make this fanfic.

The primary reason I make this fanfic is because I wanted to make game, very weird reason right. Why I came to conclusion to make a fanfic first before even trying other thing? Well... It's because I'm suck at it. Everytime I have a little motivation to try and learn. I give up and stopped so easily. Everytime I give up, I always use the same reason and that is, I AM SUCK AT MAKING THE ASSETS and I HATE TO MAKE IT. That always the reason I give up and that always the first step I took, I am a dumb person right.

But now, Touhou fandom is giving a me little motivation to keep trying, all of it because I saw (and play) some of the fangame that very different from the original game. I mean touhou is 2d bullet hell game, but someone made it into 3d hack and slash, not only that it have its own storyline too. I never heard any fandom like that and it made me wanted to do the same thing too.

So that's why I have a little bad news to the readers. This time I will try my best to actually learn the programming first untill the end.(I will use unity for now so if you have a link where I can learn PM me). Then I will beg for an assets in touhou forum, I will try not to be embarassed doing that and be prepared to get scolded because of it.

But this story will not be in hiatus, I will keep continues writing this story, though this time most of my free time will be spent on learning how to make the game. there is a time that I preserved to use to write this, that's it after I woke up and before I works. So I hope I still can reach the end even if the time is now reduced.
