No Such Luck…or Destiny's Deceit

Ch 17: Legal Matters and Court Cases

Two officers came in the door, one was male and he had a female partner with him. The officer pulled out his notepad and said. "Hello, people of Royal Woods, I'm Officer Thomas Reynolds and," He pointed at his partner. "this is my partner, Officer Danielle Summers."

"We are here to briefly discuss with you about what happened last time, and on the day of Sunday, May 21st, 1974." Danielle added up to what her partner said. "Who are the parties involved in what happened today?"

Lynn Jr. and Lincoln raised their hands.

"What are your names?" Thomas asked, jotting down important notes about the incident that happened earlier.

"My name is Lynn Loud Jr., officer." Lynn Jr. introduced herself.

"I'm Lincoln, Lincoln Loud." Lincoln introduced himself.

"Can you explain how the incident happened, Mr. Lincoln?" The male officer ordered.

"I was just taking a brisk walk towards my friend's house, next thing I knew, some boys from my sister's enemy team were sneaking up on me." The 11-year-old Loud explained. "One of them was holding up a bat, and they said that if I 'let them do their job', they will seal the deal. One charged and threw me on a lamppost, I was fine and my spine just got injured a bit."

"How about you?" Danielle asked Lynn Jr.

"When I saw those people from our enemy team crossing my brother, I quickly intervened and stunned one of them. The other got up from a trashcan with some flies dancing on his head, and not going to lie, those flies really liked him and his smelly armpits." Lynn Jr. chuckled, along with Lincoln. "They quickly charged at me, I did a backflip; they crashed into each other, and started hunting me down like a lion would to a deer. They even piled up on me, but I managed to take the smell of their sweat and pushed them off of me."

"That's all we will hear from you." Thomas said as he and Danielle turned to the Emily parents, Henry and Valerie. Danielle asked them a few questions about what the HECK happened just a week ago.

"Can you introduce yourselves, please?" Danielle politely asked.

"My name is Henry, Henry Emily, and this is my spouse, Valerie." Henry introduced himself and his wife.

"Did you know anything about what happened on the day of May 21, 1974?" Thomas asked them.

"Yes, we do." Henry answered him, seeming a bit irritated at the mention of the fight that happened because of Chandler and his stupid posse. "Those little brats can't get their grubby paws off of Lincoln and his (biological) family, they even tried to shove a bag of tree nuts in his mouth. If I see one of them, I'm going to smash them into paste…"

"Honey, no violence will be demonstrated here." Valerie calmed him down.

Danielle asks them a question. "Is there any more evidence you would like to tell us?"

"Chandler and his posse picked on one of Lincoln's sisters, Lola, by taking her tiara. My business and long-term friend's children and Robert came to help Lincoln, and when he saw them, he was SO pissed that he decided to give them a taste of their own medicine." The Emily father narrated. "I hope that teaches them not to mess with Lincoln and his family."

"Would you like to press charges?" The male police officer asked Henry and Valerie.

"Yes, we would like to." Valerie replied as she got closer to her spouse. "I would like to charge the McCann family of child endangerment, parental irresponsibility, and first-degree assault. The same goes for the enemy team of Royal Woods."

"Thank you, ma'am." Thomas said, putting away his notepad. "Get yourselves ready, we will automatically file a case in a court of law and determine the punishment for the criminals."

Henry and Valerie smiled to themselves, feeling satisfied now that justice will be served against Chandler and his family.

Meanwhile, with Michael and his friends…

"That little bastard struck again!" Michael said, slamming a fist onto his desk. "Why can't he just keep his hands and feet to himself?!"

"He outright deserved it!" Robert protested. "He didn't take it well, didn't he? And managed to bribe a group of teens from the Lions to banish him to the hospital bed!"

"Petty revenge, I'd say." Stephanie added. "Thinking that he was some kind of innocent person who didn't deserve to be pummeled in the first place and bribing a group of teens from Lynn's enemy team is another dumb move for him."

"Chandler can't even take a single reprimand from his parents, can he?" The Afton teenager asked them. "I hope he and his family flee to other countries, I don't want them anywhere here in the States."

"He can flee to Asia or much better, Africa, I hear they eat everything with rice and obtain their food through planting everyday in the fields and fishing in the lakes. That'll teach him a lesson or two. Instead of eating straight from the table, he should work smart to get himself some food, and drink water from lakes." Elijah snarkily remarked.

"He'll be better off planting in the fields instead of being lazy all day." The glasses-wearing teenager said. "Chandler will like it, besides," He pulled out four flight tickets, for Chandler and his family. "we got him and his family some flight tickets ready."

"Where is the flight heading to?" Michael asked.

"The flight will be heading towards Bucharest, Romania, after the trial at half past 5 in the afternoon." Robert explained. "He'll have a fun time in Europe! Maybe he'll meet Dracula in Transylvania!"

"Isn't Europe famous for getting involved in World War I and the Renaissance?" Michael replied. "Frankenstein originates from Hungary and Dracula lives in Romania, from what you just said. Oh well, maybe he'll have a fun time there. He'll get an endless supply of pizza and spaghetti from Italy, who knows?"

"As long as he's away from Royal Woods, I'm happy with it." Stephanie smiled, clasping her hands in her lap. "I bet he'll have a good time there. It's better off than seeing him and his parents and sister's stinky asses here in R.W."

"Yeah, he'll be better off in Romania instead of Royal Woods." Elijah said, laying back in his seat. "Maybe he'll like living in those big castles there, or even better, in a shabby house near the lake!" He and the others laughed.

William and Olivia opened the door, the former poked his head inside. "For your information, Michael, your mother and I helped Robert get those tickets. We figured that Chandler will be better off in Romania, there are a lot of folktales in that country."

"We also thought that he can sleep with…" Olivia added a hint of sinisterness in her tone. "…the vampires."

"Oooh, vampires! Scary!" Michael said, his voice sounding identical to Dracula's.

"He'll have a great time!" Stephanie added. They headed out of Michael's room and into the dining room.

The Loud and Emily families started pressing charges on the McCann family. Rita was a bit shaken by what happened to her son, while Lynn Sr. was furious to the point that he wanted to grab a sharp knife and stab Chandler in the chest.

When Lynn Sr. heard from William that he, Olivia, and Robert got tickets for Chandler and his family to Bucharest, he was so happy and satisfied at the same time.

"A trip to Bucharest would be a breeze for Chandler and his family!" Lynn Sr. grinned, liking the thought of sending Chandler and his family's asses off to Romania for them to not cause harm and unrest in Royal Woods. Rita still clung to him, but she liked the idea.

"Trust me, Chandler and his family will be out of the States in no time." William reassured.

"Good plan, William, good plan." Lynn Sr. said, smiling while rubbing his hands together in thought.

To be continued in Ch 18…

A/N: Hello readers, sorry that this chapter took to long to publish. Assignments and asynchronous classes were the reason, and by the way, an idea popped up in my head just now, and here it is: Chandler and his family fleeing to Bucharest, Romania. Chandler also has an elder sister, who is his exact opposite.

Here's the plot, Lincoln is absent from the trial. The parents and some of the children from the Loud and Emily families make their testimony including the McCann family, the testimony served against them was a bit severe. The father, Thomas McCann, feared that he and his family will be dragged into prison. After the trial at 4:30 in the afternoon, William and Olivia give the McCann family four flight tickets to Bucharest, Thomas thanks them and tells his family to pack their bags.

Chandler hated leaving home, so Lillian reprimanded him and told him that they will be living in Romania forever and ever. When they got to the airport on time, they got on the plane and flew off to Bucharest, Romania.

We will also take a glimpse on Chandler's life in Bucharest, I really hope that redhead enjoys his life there, he deserved to live in more rural and less technologically advanced countries after all.
