Chapter 4

AN: Hey guys, thanks for the reviews. Shout outs to those who guessed Angra Mainyu. One person asked how Ron recognized Vivian. I will answer that in this chapter. Another noted how I didn't really develop the personalities of the characters. For the most part, the characters are the same as in canon with exceptions. Hermione is the same, Sakura is a little more confident than she is in stay night. Vivian is based looks and personality off of Eucliwood from Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka, thus is a harder to define personality. My hardest character to develop a personality for is Susan, as the Harry Potter books and movies don't really develop her character, making the slate for her personality a Carte Blanche for the fan-base to work with. Anyways, with that Said, Let's get in to the story.

Hogwarts Great Hall

Albus Dumbledore was watching the doors to the Great Hall with much delight. Despite his constant failures to obtain guardianship of the Potter girl, he knew he had control once she entered Hogwarts. As the headmaster, he could call her to his office under the pretense of 'school business,' just so he could place the binds, locks and blocks on her magic, as well as compulsion and loyalty charms to get her to obey his words. Since she would be alone, there was no way his carefully crafted plan to have her isolated with the youngest Weasley male as her only friend and eventual husband. In his mind, it was a shame she had to die, but she had to, for the Greater Good. Once Voldemort had returned to a physical body and all of his horcruxes destroyed, he would pretend to weep over her corpse before taking up the mantle of ruler of the magical world. He had been working behind the scenes to make sure his plans came to be, only to see them start to crash as he saw who entered the Great Hall with the girl.

Vivian, Hermione, Susan, and Sakura all looked up at the ceiling when they entered the Great Hall. Jealter looked as well, before fixing her eyes on the headmaster. Jealter also noticed all the students looking at Vivian as she walked to the head table.

"It's not real. It's just bewitched to look like the sky outside. I read about it in Hogwarts, A History."

"We read that book too, 'Mione." Susan rolled her eyes. "Just because you know something doesn't mean we don't know the same thing."

Vivian, out of the corner of her eyes, saw Rin and Shirou waving at her and her friends from a table with a red and gold banner hanging over it. After noticing them, she looked at her older sister/Servant. She could see that she noticed something. 'Jealter, what's wrong?'

'much like the headmaster, all the students are looking directly at you.' Jealter almost growled over the mental link.

'To be expected. Do remember that the Girl-Who-Lived books, while fictional, have my likeness and a picture of me on the last page of each book.' Vivian knew she would be compared to the depiction of her in the books. She even had herself a collection of the books as she liked the story lines of the books. 'As we both know, a vast majority take those books to be the truth even though it has been stated publicly and in every book made that the books are not true.'

'Yeah, yeah. I know. You did pack your entire collection of GWL books in your trunk. That aside, I'm not letting that white bearded old fool anywhere alone with you. Mother would have my head if I did.'

As they reached the front of the hall, the four girls and Jealter took notice of a stool in front of the head table. On the stool was a dirty old hat that looked like it had seen better days. As the students wondered why it was there, the hat sprang to life. When it did, its brim and creases seemed to from a face. After a few moments of simple movement, the hat began to sing.

"Oh you may not think I'm pretty,

But don't judge on what you see,

I'll eat myself if you can find

A smarter hat than me.

You can keep your bowlers black,

Your top hats sleek and tall,

For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat

And I can cap them all.

There's nothing hidden in your head

The Sorting Hat can't see,

So try me on and I will tell you

Where you ought to be.

You might belong in Gryffindor,

Where dwell the brave at heart,

Their daring, nerve, and chivalry

Set Gryffindors apart;

You might belong in Hufflepuff,

Where they are just and loyal,

Those patient Hufflepuffs are true

And unafraid of toil;

Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

If you've a ready mind,

Where those of wit and learning,

Will always find their kind;

Or perhaps in Slytherin

You'll make your real friends,

Those cunning folks use any means

To achieve their ends.

So put me on! Don't be afraid!

And don't get in a flap!

You're in safe hands (though I have none)

Fore I'm a Thinking Cap"

(Harry potter and the Philosopher's/ Sorcerer's Stone)

"As nice it was to tell us what it was, the song was not something I would suggest to be sung every year." Vivian signed to Susan, Hermione, and Sakura.

"Agreed." They signed back.

"When I all your name, you will come forth, and be sorted into your houses." McGonagall called out to the first years. "Abbot, Hannah."

A blonde girl walked up nervously, sitting on the stool as the hat was put on her head.

"Hufflepuff!" McGonagall took the hat back as the girl ran to the Hufflepuff table.

"Bones, Susan."

"Gryffindor or bust. wish me luck, girls" Susan told her friends as she went up to the stool.

As the hat was set on her head she heard a voice in her head. "Ah, some pretty good shields you have here, Ms Bones."

"Are you the Sorting Hat?" Susan signed that the hat could speak to them in their heads to her friends.

"Indeed, now let's see where I'm going to put you. You have a lot of loyalty to your friends and family, so Hufflepuff would do you well. But what's this? You ran at one of your friends sisters with a stick, knowing said sister was trained in how to use a sword?! My that is brave. Better be..."

"Gryffindor!"

Many more names were called out before Hermione was next from their group to be sorted. The hat seemed to have stalled on her, as Hermione argued with the hat. After about ten minutes of arguing with the hat, it placed her in Gryffindor. Much more time passed as more names went by. Neville Longbottom, bless his heart, was sorted into Gryffindor, but had to sheepishly walk back up to give the Sorting Hat back to McGonagall. The blonde boy from the train, Draco Malfoy, Vivian and Sakura remembered, had barely had the hat touch his head before it called out for the boy to go to Slytherin.

"Matou, Sakura."

"Wish me luck, Eu."

"You'll do fine. You are much braver than you give yourself credit for." Vivian signed as she motioned for Sakura to head up to the stool.

"I was not expecting a third magus to enter these halls. You are definitely more interesting than the other two. Ah, yes, I see you were used as a vessel for parasitic familiars by your grandfather. Those worms would have scared most witches and wizards I know of, especially the pure bloods, as they feed on the magic of others to empower their master. Surviving what they put you through is very admirable, as it took real bravery to not be fully broken by those creatures or the treatment you got from your grandfather. Lift your head, dear girl, and join your friends in Gryffindor!"

Sakura ran over to her friends, sitting between Shirou and Hermione. after that, it took a few more names before the name everyone was anticipating was called. "Potter, Vivian."

"Do what you're gonna do, Vivian. I'll be right by your side the entire time." Jealter said, keeping a glaring eye on Dumbledore.

Vivian walked up to the stool, Jealter walking right beside her. As she sat down, she felt as if someone was using magic on her, from the feel of it, it was as if the magic wanted her to do something. Following the direction it was coming from, she found the headmaster to be the one doing so without using his wand. 'Jealter, wandless magic from the headmaster.'

Jealter materialized her sword and pointed it at Dumbledore. "You will stop whatever magic you are using on my little sister right now!" Jealter yelled at Dumbledore. "I don't care who you are, you do not have any right to use mind altering magic on a member of my family."

Dumbledore couldn't believe the nerve of this girl. How dare she address him in such a way. "As you are threatening me, I have no choice but to banish you from these grounds. You are never to return, and any attempt to set foot on these grounds will see you arrested. Now leave." He commanded.

"Hold your horses, Albus!" The Sorting Hat called out. "Do not forget that as a relic of the Founders of Hogwarts, I am more in tune to the flow of magic in this castle. You are not allowed to banish someone for defending their family. Even before I could be placed on her head, I could tell you were using compulsion charms on young Ms. Potter. Whatever your reason is, you will stop right now." Dumbledore mentally fumed as the Sorting Hat called him out for his actions. Couldn't it see that he was the only one who knew what was best for the Greater Good? Sometimes he wished the Founders hadn't made that blasted hat indestructible. "I am terribly sorry for the delay, Ms. Potter. Let's get you sorted, shall we?"

Vivian nodded and waited as the hat was placed on her head. "Once again, I apologize. Our ESTEEMED headmaster has it set in his mind that he knows what is best for the world, but that is neither here nor there. What is important is finding which house to put you in. Yes, you have plenty of courage, definitely brave. Wise as well. You are very difficult to place. What's this? A reincarnated soul? It seems I found an enigma. You are incredibly kindhearted. I see no wish to rush headlong without a plan, but a desire for peace. Your loyalty makes you perfect for Hufflepuff,"

"With all due respect mister Hat, I would rather stay with my friends, but I can respect your choice. You have been at this for a long time after all."

"Ha! I like you. For that, I will tell you my name, none of that mister hat nonsense. I am Recorum. I will have Fawkes carry me to you from time to time. You are a much better person to have a conversation with than the headmaster. I want to slap him every time he calls me Flopsy. Be warned though, the headmaster has done one thing both illegal and thought to be impossible. He slave bound poor Fawkes. She was originally placed here by Godric himself to be a protector to the school, but upon becoming headmaster, Dumbledore forced a bond on Fawkes."

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

"There is. You need one who is connected to the souls of the world to be able to break the forced bond. Doing so will free Fawkes to willingly bond to another, thus making it impossible for the headmaster to force the bond again. My time with you for now is at an end, my dear, work your hardest to show the world what true kindness can do in Hufflepuff!"

The hall was quiet for a few seconds before the Hufflepuff table broke out in a loud cheer. Dumbledore was fuming once again. Why couldn't that blasted hat put her in Gryffindor where it would be easier to manipulate her. He already had a ward on the school that let him be able to do anything and get away with it. No need for the DMLE to get involved for his 'Special Interests.' Now he needed to find a way to get her by herself. That sister of hers was looking to be a thorn in his side.

Looking to her friends, she signed to them. 'I'm sorry girls. I couldn't keep us all together. Even still, let's still hang out as much as possible through out the year.'

'You know it!' Susan, Hermione, and Sakura signed back.

Walking over to the Hufflepuff table, Vivian sat down next to the girl she remembered being called out first, Hannah Abbot. Jealter took a seat beside Vivian across from an older boy.

"Welcome to Hufflepuff, Potter. I'm Cedric Diggory." The boy intoduced himself.

Vivian signed to Jealter, who then turned to Cedric. "She said thank you for the hospitality, and that you may call her Vivian. she said that the girl sitting beside her could do the same." After jealter said that, the Sorting Hat hollered out.

"HA! another weasley, albeit different from the others. i know just what to do with you. Slytherin!" Ron paled as he heard the Hat call that out.

"I believe you must have made two mistakes Flopsy, Miss Potter and Mister Weasley should both be in Gryffindor so they can get to know one another as they are betrothed. I oversaw the betrothement myself." Dumbledore stood up as he said that before Jealter stood up and yelled at him.

"You senile old goat! Vivian is not betrothed to anyone." Jealter was pissed at this point. "Mother found the Marriage contract you tried to make. Two things that made it an attempt at Line Theft. The first is that if it worked would make Vivian subservient to you and her supposed 'Betrothed,' but would give her 'Betrothed' full control of her vaults and life even if she died before marriage. The second being that it takes the head of house and or proper magical guardian to sign such papers. That paper had your signature and the signature of the boy's mother, not his father. As neither Mother or Arthur Weasley signed that paper, It is invalid."

Recorum spoke up at that point as well. "Also, I don't make mistakes. That boy is more ambitious than the rest of his family combined. Miss Potter was sorted to Hufflepuff because of her personality, much like every other student I have ever sorted."

"Of course, forgive me for doubting you." Dumbledore internally seethed. "As we were running late, let the feast begin." After saying so, the tables filled with food. Hannah, being the shy yet friendly girl she is, asked what was on her mind.

"Um, V-Vivian, Who is t-that beside you, and w-why did she answer for you?" Hannah was nervous as she had seen Jealter create a sword and point it at the headmaster.

"I'm Vivian's adopted older sister, Jealter." Jealter answered first before Vivian could even attempt to sign. Not that she could, her hands were busy filling both her sister's plate and her own. "As for why I answered instead, I'll ask a question first. Did you see her motion with her hands towards me before I answered?"

"I did notice that." Cedric noted. "Her motions there were fast, but she did the same when looking over at the Gryffindor table."

"What you saw was Vivian using sign language, a form of communication made for those who can't speak or hear. Vivian doesn't speak words vocally. Instead, she either uses written words on a notepad, or through sign language. I'm here to be a translator for her in the off-chance she isn't near one of her friends. Susan, Sakura, Hermione, Shirou, and Rin are able to use sign language, but the odds of being in the same class as her friends became much lower when she was sorted into a different house than them." Jealter looked bored as she said that.

"Is there a way you can teach one of her year mates? It would mean you could stay home if you wanted to while having her with a translator she could trust." Cedric asked, he was interested in this new knowledge, as it would give him a way to help one of his housemates.

"It is possible, but I'd rather you not ask me. Me staying home is out of the question though as Mother has a clear dislike of the old goat. He's tried multiple ways to control Vivian, most by trying to gain guardianship of her. Mother doesn't trust him, and neither do I"

'Ditto.' Vivian held up her note pad.

Over at the Gryffindor table, the other three girls were talking to Shirou and Rin.

"Shame Eu didn't join us here. I could have used an extra hand keeping this baka in line." Rin hiked her thumb at Shirou.

"Rin-nee, that's mean. Sempai isn't an idiot." Sakura pouted as she dished herself a plate with desserts.

"What do you mean keep me in line?"

"Baka, do you know how much trouble it is keeping you out of fights? I know you want to protect everyone, but sometimes you need to know when to stand down. You wound up in the hospital wing more times than I care to count. I'd rather not have to try to tell Fujimura-Sensei you died doing something stupid."

Susan held up a had toward Rin and Shirou. "Eu's point from the train proved right."

"Behave Sue, No one likes being told 'I told you so.'" Hermione pointed out. "While Eu was right, she didn't make Jealter's job any easier by getting into a different house than us. Instead it looks like she made it harder. Seems Jealter is getting annoyed over there. On another note, did you notice that the headmaster tried to get the rude red head from the train sorted into Gryffindor?"

Fred and George chose that moment to interrupt. "That's because Ron and Mum both believe everything Dumbledore says as gospel."

"Says any who disagrees with him is dark."

"Our family has been in Gryffindor"

"For generations. Mum won't be happy to hear"

"That her precious Ronnikins got put"

"In the house of the slimy snakes."

"Be prepared to cover your ears"

"In the morning."

"Why would we need to do that?" Hermione asked. "She's not going to come bursting through the doors to the hall during breakfast is she?"

"Nope" "Howler."

Before anything else could be said, Dumbledore called out. "Your attention please. Our care taker, Mr Filch, has asked me to remind you, that there should be no magic in the halls. For our first year students, and some of our older students, do note that the Forbidden Forest is out of bounds." He glared at the Twins. "One last announcement. Please note, that the Third floor corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds, for those who do not wish to die a most painful death. Prefects, lead the first years to the common rooms. Have a good evening." With that Dumbledore exited the hall.

Following the prefects, Jealter and Vivian were lead to a large painting with a badger and a fruit bowl.

"Alright puffs, listen up. This is the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room. to get in just tickle the pear a bit." The prefect demonstrated, an then lead them in. "Whatever you do, do not give out the location of the common room to anyone. You'll notice behind me two stair cases. Boys on the left, Girls on the right. Boys, remember that the stairs for the girls' dorms will turn into a slide if you try to climb them. Stick together, Slytherins tend to be mean to anyone they deem below them, going as far as to break rules just to cause trouble, then blame us. Professor Snape will be one of your strictest teachers, don't do anything to get on his bad side. Above all, do your best to show we are not just the house of the leftovers or cast offs."

What the Prefect didn't mention is that the Girl's dorms were three to a room, or that the beds were automatically picked for the girls. Vivian and Jealter got lucky in that they were in the same room, sharing it with Hannah Abbot. Hannah struck up a small conversation about their shared friend, Susan Bones. Turns out that Susan would stay with the Abbots when Vivian went on a trip with her adopted family, leading to the two becoming friends. After a while, Jealter told the two to go to bed, earning a startled "Eep!" from Hannah. The next morning saw Vivian up bright and early. She wrote a quick message to Hannah, then woke Jeanne up. The two went out early to the grounds, where Vivian worked on her ephemeral flames.

"Tch, not bad." Jealter commented as she looked at the light fire Vivian made. "You're still holding back, which is good, but you're doing so too much. Those flames were barely a campfire. For that attack, you need to use enough magic to make a bonfire."

'You do realize that doing so would be disastrous if I lost control, right?' Vivian gave Jealter a blank stare.

"That's why we are practicing at the lake's edge. I know you don't want anything happening to your friends. Although I wouldn't mind if you let control slip when dealing with two certain brats." Jealter huffed. She knew Vivian wouldn't do so, but could only hope for a burnt weasel and ferret.

'Please don't make me have to say up.'

"... Shutting up..." Jealter's poker face didn't hide the fear at that statement from Vivian. She knew all too well what that word could do. "We will call it good for today. Looks like the other students are waking up from the sound of it."

After a twenty minutes, the two found themselves at the Great Hall. Hanna, seeing them enter, waved them over. As they enjoyed breakfast, an elderly lady walked up with papers in her hands.

"Good morning, my new puffs. I'm sorry I didn't get to give you my normal welcoming speech in the common room last night. The headmaster called for a brief staff meeting. I'm your head of house, Pomona Sprout. Here is your time tables, dears. I will see you in Herbology."

Looking at the given schedule, Vivian saw she had Herbology with Slytherin that morning, and double Potions with Slytherin as well.

"Think he's trying to make believe his propoganda concerning Slytherins." Vivian simply reached up and pinched Jealter's shoulder. "Ow, brat!"

"Eu!" Five voices called out. Vivian stood up, only to get wrapped in hugs from her three best friends.

"How was the badger's den?" Rin asked as she calmly pulled the three first year lions off the badger.

'It was rather peaceful. For once I could sleep in my own bed without a certain red haired girl tossing me off of it in her sleep before going back to her own bed.'

"She did it to me in your place." Hermione deadpanned. "Anyway, we have Transfiguration with Ravenclaw first, followed by Charms. What about you?"

'Herbology and Potions with Slytherin. Dumbledore is either trying to foster a hatred of serpents in me, or get me to bond with his choice in life partners.'

Before another thing could be said, a certain red envelope started shouting.

"RONALD BILLIUS WEASLEY! HOW DARE YOU GET YOURSELF SORTED INTO SLYTHERIN! YOU DISGRACE OUR FAMILY. I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU COULDN'T FOLLOW TRADITIONAND BE SORTED INTO GRYFFINDOR, BUT YOU HAD BETTER PROVE YOURSELF CAPABLE OF WHAT YOU HAVE STARTED. And Vivian dear, please feel free to slap your intended on my behalf." The letter then tore itself to pieces. Jealter laughed.

"I don't know what's funnier. The fact that that woman believes you are promised to that boy when the contract wasn't valid, or the fact that she gave you permission to deal with him when he steps out of line!"

"It does seem that she thinks that contract is valid." Hannah said quietly as she joined the group. "It's nice to see you again Susan."

"Like wise, but you really need to be a bit less shy. None of us sans Jealter will bite." Susan said as she started to back away from Jealter. Not fast enough as Jealter grabbed her by the back of her uniform.

"What's that I hear about a certain Red wanting to go for a dip in the lake?"

"No, not that!"

"Stay out of it, Shirou." Rin grabbed Shirou by the ear as Jealter led Susan out of the Great Hall.

As this was going on, a certain greasy haired professor was glaring at Vivian. He knew he should try to see some of the woman he loved in the girl, but all he could see was the worthless spawn of James Potter. He knew better, but he didn't care. Minerva had told them at the staff meeting the girl couldn't talk. He was going to make it so that she couldn't have that older girl translate for her, or use her notepad. He was going to humiliate her by showing how weak she was that she couldn't speak, even smack her a bit before throwing her out of his class for disrupting it, and assign detention for not attending class. He was going to have his revenge. Sins of the Father were always the Sins of the Daughter.

Herbology was a rather simple class for Vivian. She had her sister translate for her as she named different plants when asked by Prof. Sprout. Even if she didn't show it, the woman had made Herbology fun for Vivian by having a hands on lesson. The Slytherin students, aside from Ron and Draco followed instructions. Ron was too lazy and didn't even try, while Draco just tried to sabotage the work of the Hufflepuffs. Draco's favorite target was Vivian, but as she had Jealter there, any attempt got him punished. Class went by just fine until the last few minutes.

"Hey, Vivian, how about we not do this dirty work and instead talk about our plans for our wedding?"

Vivian quickly signed to Jealter. "Hey, Professor. You best deal with Weasel here before I do." Jealter called out to Prof. Sprout.

"What did Mr. Weasley do to have you so mad dear?" Prof. Sprout made haste as she walked over to Vivian's area.

"He was told to leave Vivian alone, and that the marriage contract that the headmaster filled out for him and Vivian was invalid, but he insists it is active."

"It is active. Dumbledore made it, so it has to be true. Any one saying otherwise is nothing but a dirty Death Eater." Ron sneered as he said that.

"Detention, Mr. Weasley, and thirty points from Slytherin. You should know better than to call people dark for having different opinions." Prof. Sprout scolded him. before she could say more, the timer she set went off. "Oh my, looks like that's all for today. You have five minutes to clean up before heading off to your next class. Remember to write a tree page essay about the plants we covered today. Dismissed."

After cleaning up, Hannah, Vivian and Jealter had gotten to the Potions classroom ahead of schedule by two minutes and set up. Vivian had her notepad ready in case the professor decided to kick her older sister out of the classroom. She had heard the upper years say that the potions professor was the meanest teacher at the school, known for favoring Slytherins over the other houses. After everyone had taken their seats, the professor walked in.

"There will be no silly wand waving or incantations in this class. You will be learning the delicate art of brewing potions. I can help you learn how to bottle fear and save lives, even if you are on the brink of death." His eyes honed in on Vivian. "Ah yes, Ms. Potter, our new celebrity. Tell me Potter, what would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" Vivian started to sign to Jealter. "Your helper is not allowed to speak for you, nor are you to use your notepad." He sneered as he said that, walking to stand in front of her. "Oh, that's right. McGonagall told us you were unable to speak. No doubt if you could, you would be just as cheeky as you worthless father. No doubt you are just as arrogant as he was. Learn your place among your betters, you worthless brat." He slapped her at that point. That was the breaking point. Jealter, having known what the man in front of her was like thanks to Lancer, knew all of his sins. She was getting angrier as he spoke, but when he slapped Vivian, all bets were off. She grabbed him by his neck and threw him to the far wall of the classroom.

"All children out. I need to have a word with this filth stain." "Vivian, make what happens in this room private using your primordial runes."

"On it. I take it you are going to use your Noble Phantasm even if I tell you not to, correct?"

"This slime ball's time has run out. I'm dealing with him permanently. Thanks to Lancer we both know he told what he heard of that prophecy to that Voldemort guy, and begged both Voldemort and Dumbledore to only save your birth mother. He didn't care who died until it was her that was in the direct line of fire."

"Do as you will, but know you get to deal with the backlash from doing so." Vivian and all the other students left the room. Jealter waited a few moments until she felt the familiar sense of her Master/ younger sister using primordial runes to isolate the room from Dumbledore's spying ways.

"How dare you attack me you whore. Whatever price that pampered, arrogant brat has paid to make you her obedient dog was not worth whatever it was for you throw me across my classroom. Die. SectumSempra!" Snape threw his personal creation at Jealter, who just let it splash harmlessly against her.

"That was not even worth avoiding. Since this room has been sealed off from the rest of the school, I'm going to tell you why that is." Snape cast the same spell over and over to get her to fall. "I am a Heroic Spirit. Even the weakest among us have high magic resistance. Since you won't be leaving this room alive, I will tell you, the other six and I know just what you have done. You claim to have loved Lily Potter, when in reality, you just wanted her so that you could lord over the fact that you had her and not James Potter. When her family was targeted because you told that maniac that prophecy, you begged for Lily and Lily alone to be spared. You didn't care about her husband or her daughter. You only cared about your lust. None of what I just said is getting back to either of your masters." Jealter materialized her armor, sword, and her lance.

"This is the howl of a soul filled with hatred. La Grondament Du Haine!" Pointing her sword at Snape, flames rushed from her at him, erupting from the ground to burn him before several copies of her lance surged from the ground, impaling him. When the flames and lances faded, the charred, lifeless body of Severus Snape could be seen in the center of a black ring. Jealter switched back into the clothes she was in before, and turned to the door. Before she opened it, She looked back at Snape's corpse.

"Remember this in your next life. You reap what you sow."

Jealter huffed before she exited the classroom, bracing herself for a lecture from caster, and a migraine from the backlash she was going to be dealing with for doing this. At the moment, she didn't care. In her mind, he got what he deserved,

Thanks for reading, guys. Shocker that Snape is dead this early, right? I know he protects Harry in his own way, but I could never get past the fact that even in trying to protect Harry, he never gave up his hatred of James, and instead transferred that hate to Harry. I'm going to leave it as a cliff hanger for now, but it will be explained in later chapters. Quick little challenge to see if you were paying attention to small details: Which of the seven Heroic Spirits is Vivian's favorite older sister?

That said, you guys know the drill with reviews. Stay safe, and keep being awesome.
