Hi there, I would like to present one of my first ever fanfics.
This is the start of a series of stories I plan to write, since I'm a huge fan of both the Alien, Predator, and Riddick franchise.
Ever since I first saw the movie Pitch Black, I couldn't help but feel the vibes of the Alien universe in that film. Not just because the aliens look like the Xenomorphs mixed with dragons, but the grungy futuristic space setting fits right in with that universe.
Hell the director of the film David Twohy was one of the writers attached to the production of Alien 3. He even included a prison planet in the sequel The Chronicles of Riddick.
Now how does the Predator franchise fit into all this? Well in the 3rd Riddick film it's shown that Riddick has a talent for surviving in harsh environments, similar to how Dutch did in the original film.
Plus when Riddick takes out the bounty hunters one by one, it's very reminiscent of the tactics used by the Predator.
Anyway, these stories I'm planning to write are a retelling of the original AVP comic series by Dark Horse, and are set after the 3rd Riddick film. So yeah you'll see Riddick interacting with Machiko Noguchi in this series. Also I will be exploring the concept of the Furyans having ties with the Yautja.
Since I believe they're almost similar in that they're both beast-like warriors, who can manage against other stronger opponents.
Also I'm planning a few side stories along the way, particularly with the Predator franchise. As it concerns certain characters that many have not heard of in a while.
Any original story and characters are created and owned by me.
Now before I begin on the main storyline, I've decided that I'm going to be experimenting with a few ideas. Keep in mind though this is just for fun. And while I'll use some of these ideas for the main series, these stories are standalone/alternate takes on the canon Alien, Predator, and Riddick franchise. Think of them as like a few rough draft one shots.
I will be using some ideas from a few AVP video games, as well as some unused concepts from various Alien and Predator movies.
