Standing in the forest that rains is the 6 year old Ash Blake who stood with a confused yet surprised face towards the young blonde girl who is crying while clinging to her white dragon doll.

"you….are you alright?" Ash asked as he got near the scared young girl who tensed up when she sees him approaching. "What are you doing out here?"

"d-don't come near me!" the girl screamed out in a frightened voice as she turns away while clinging onto her doll even tighter.

Ash looks a bit taken back to her outburst, but he understood quickly that a girl of her age could be very scared in such a situation. The young man soon notices that her right leg is injured.

"you're hurt." Ash said as he slowly got near the young girl who backs away to a tree. "let me help."

"d-don't come near me!" the girl screams out once again, but Ash didn't retreat as he just goes forward with helping her wounds.

After some struggle with the young girl, Ash manages to bandage her wound with a white napkin that he somehow had in his pockets.

"there." Ash said before he smiles to the young girl. "better now?"

The young girl looks at Ash a bit confused before she blushes a bit and nods.

"t-t-thank…y-you…" she mumbled out softly.

"can you tell me why are you here?" Ash asked. "all alone that is?"

the blonde girl looks at Ash before she hugs her doll even tighter.

"i-i…I want to go to where Mother Dragon is." She replied softly. "I want to get a Par."

"I see" Ash said with an understanding nod. "but with your leg that injured, you can't go to see Mother Dragon. Better if you just give up and go back."

"as if I give up!" the young girl retorted with a fierce yet determined voice. "I don't want to give up! I need a Par! I don't want to come back after getting this far! I refuse to give up!"

Ash looks a bit surprised to hear her reply as he was very sure that he had met the girl once before.

"is that so?" Ash replied with a smile. "I understand, so you need a Par, huh?" he then reaches out a hand towards her. "come on, I'll help you find Mother Dragon and get you your Par."

The young girl looks at Ash all surprised before she slowly smiles and reaches out a hand to hold his.

A few minutes later, Ash and the little girl are venturing deep into the forest. The young boy had his female companion in a piggyback ride because of her injured leg that didn't allow her to walk easily.

"my name is Ash." Ash said in introducing himself to the young girl. "what's your name?"

"S-Silvi…" the young girl replied. "I'm Silvi.."

"that's a nice name." Ash said with a smile. "you're very brave that you would come to meet Mother Dragon and get a Par."

"thank you…" Silvi replied. "why are you here for? Do you plan to get a Par too?"

"not really." Ash said while shaking his head. "I'm only here because my father came to do some meeting with his friends. It was boring so I just head out into the forest and have fun."

"I see…." Silvia said before she saw something. "there!"

Ash looks to the front and he saw a large cave entrance up ahead.

"that's the cave that will take us to Mother Dragon!" Silvia said excitedly. "let's go!"

"hang on tight!" Ash replied as he started to hurry his pace.

Both children entered the cave as they walk into a tunnel filled with glowing green crystals.

"pretty…" Silvi whispered as she looks in awe to the glowing crystals.

"hey, you got a name for your Par yet?" Ash asked as Silvi made a confused noise in response. "you have thought a name yet? For your Par?"

"well…." Silvi spoke out as she thought about it for a moment. The young girl thinks before she smiles excitingly. "Lancelot! Just like the great knight of Lautreamont, Lancelot Chevalier!"

"the great knight who singlehandedly protected the kingdom from invaders, huh?" Ash said with a smile. "that's a great name."

"right~!" Silvi cheered with a big smile.

The two children continue to travel into the cave as they went up and down the tunnel before reaching an opening at the end.

"this is it~!" Silvia said as she got off Ash's back and hurriedly went to the opening.

Ash followed her as he and Silvi were soon in awe to see a large chamber that has glowing green tree roots that formed a large cage of a den.

"this is where Mother Dragon resides!" Silvia said as she hugs her dragon doll tightly. "this is where I will meet my Lancelot!"

"don't get too excited or you'll trip again." Ash said as he stands beside the young girl. "we have to be respectful when we enter the den of the Mother Dragon, right?"

"r-right!" Silvi exclaimed as she takes quick breathes a few times before mustering her most serious firm face that she could make. "alright! I'm ready!"

"good luck, I'll cheer for you on the side lines." Ash said while giving a thumbs up to Silvi who nodded with gratitude before she went straight for the Mother Dragon's den.

Silvi enters the den and looks very excited as she would finally meet her Par for her first time.

Everything soon went silent as sparkles began to fly upwards everywhere around the den.

Ash and Silvi watches in awe to what they were witnessing as it looks very magical.

"you who have come to my Home, seek a Par?" a feminine echoing voice spoke out as the sparkles started to gather into one spot at the den. "are you worthy?" The sparkles formed a shining greenish white orb before it flashes and a large glowing green majestic dragon that towers 20 feet. "are you worthy to lay your life for your Par?"

"t-that's…Mother D-Dragon?" Ash said in surprise before he winced in pain as he placed a hand to his head and sees a blurry memory of himself meeting the large majestic dragon before him. "w-wait…I've met her before?"

"y-yes! I am worthy!" Silvi exclaimed while taking a step forward and gaze upon the large deity like being before her. "please bestow me my Par who I will raise, train, and love with all my heart! Please!"

Mother Dragon looks down upon Silvi for a moment before she looks at Ash.

"for the ones who have come to my Den to be bestowed for a Par, only one is worthy." Mother Dragon spoke as her eyes glows green and Ash made a yelp because a Seikoku appears upon the back palm of his left hand. "Ash Blake, I deem you worthy to be bestowed a Par."

This surprised both kids as the one who wanted a Par is Silvi and not Ash.

"p-please wait! Why him!?" Silvia said in pure confusion and shock. "why am I not worthy?! I have studied and worked hard for the day I would meet my Par?! Why!?"

"Ash Blake has the potential to be a great Dragon Breeder while you do not." Mother Dragon spoke out in reply. "that is all"

"j-just because of that…i-I don't have any potential?" Silvi replied while tearing up as she clutches her dragon doll. "but I've studied and trained for this! Why don't I have the potential that you seek?!" her tears started to pour down heavily. "please! Please answer me, Mother Dragon!"

The majestic dragon merely looks down upon her and didn't reply.

"give this to her" Ash suddenly spoke out as Silvi made a surprise noise while turning to look at the young boy who approaches her from behind. "give this Seikoku to her, I don't want a Par."

"you are the only one within my Den who is worthy to be given a Par." Mother Dragon spoke out. "and this child is not worthy, that is all."

"but you can't just give a Par to someone who doesn't even want one" Ash said in reply while holding up his left arm. "just give this mark to her so that she could get a Par who she always wanted to meet!"

"Ash…." Silvi muttered out with a surprised look at the young man.

"there is nothing that I can do to change this decision." Mother Dragon stated as her body began to disperse into sparkles. "I advise you to heed this decision, Ash Blake. You are meant for a great destiny and therefore makes you worthy."

"hey! I still don't want a Par!" Ash shouted but the great dragon disappears and everything in the den went silent. "damnit! She ran away!" he then looks at Silvi who is trying to wipe away her tears. "don't worry, I'll get her to give this mark to you."

"i-it's fine." Silvi said while whimpering a bit. "she said…that I'm not worthy and…you're worthy…I should just."

"You shouldn't give up!" Ash stated as Silvi made a surprise noise while looking at him. "you never gave up to your injuries when you wanted to meet Mother Dragon, right!? Why are you giving up now!?"

"b-but..she…" Silvi muttered out before she looks confused as Ash holds out his left arm towards her. "Ash?"

"I'm giving this to you." Ash said as he hold his left arm with his right hand and grips it tight. "I learned from a book that a Seikoku is connected to our life force and therefore is able to be used to transfer our life force to another being with it as the medium. If I follow that principle…" the young boy grunted a bit as his Seikoku started to glow while giving him a burning sensation. "I can give this mark to you!"

"b-but isn't that dangerous!?" Silvia said. "if you do that! You might die!"

"I'm fine with that!" Ash retorted while the Seikoku started to glow brighter. "I've never been good in taking care of others! If I get a Par, I might just end up getting it hurt all the time! But you? I know you can take care of it!" the young boy's eyes started to bleed as his Seikoku shines while causing glowing white vein marks to appear all over his left arm. "take care of my Par, Silvi!"

"s-stop! Stop Ash! Please!" Silvi cried out before the young boy's Seikoku shines brighter and a bright flash occurred and an explosion of blood and flesh came next.

Time slows down as Silvi and Ash were forced back from one another. The young boy's left arm is completely blown off while the young girl's clothes around her chest are torn as a Seikoku mark appears upon it.

Ash's eyes snapped open as the young man is now floating in the darkness once again while looking to have woken up from a dream.

"t-that girl…from that time…." Ash muttered out as he placed a hand to his forehead. "I had a par but I wanted to give it away….and then…." the young man grunted as he starts to see more memories surging into his head. "..S-Silvi…..that girl…" he then gets a flashback of the young blonde girl and soon realizes something. "s-she's…she's the Princess!?"

"you have finally remembered, Ash Blake."

A voice echoed out as this alarmed Ash who looks around before he caught sight of a glowing white sparkles that shines brightly and Mother Dragon appears before him.

"M-Mother Dragon…?" Ash stuttered in surprise to meet the majestic dragon once again. "w-why are you..?"

"Ash Blake, you were on the verge of death with Silvia Lautreamont after receiving the last attack from Dharak. I am here for I have saved your lives."

"Dharak's…attack.." Ash said as he quickly remembered the battle that he, Drago, and the others were having against Dharak. "that's right! Drago and the others!"

"They are facing Dharak as we speak, but you have more important matter to deal with, Ash Blake."

"What do you mean?" Ash asked before the darkness disappears and a silver door appears before him. "a door?"

"beyond this door, you must find Silvia Lautreamont and save her before darkness consumes her. I tried to dispel the darkness, but her heart is slowly being corrupted. Her life is in danger."

"w-what!?" Ash exclaimed in surprise.

"you have only one opportunity to save her, Ash Blake. If you fail, all will be lost."

Mother Dragon slowly began to fade away as she becomes transparent by the passing second.

"remember…you are fated for a great task and you must overcome it."

With the majestic dragon now gone, Ash looks at the door that he slowly walks towards to and gently holds the doorknob.

Ash took a deep breath before he turns the knob and pushes the door open but is soon sucked in by a black gust of air.

"aaghghh!" Ash screams as he gets sucked into darkness once again and disappears when the door closes and locks shut.

That's a wrap!

Bye bye
