A battle ensued upon the forest some miles away from Neathia Kingdom, the Castle Knights' Bakugans came and started to attack the Gundalian Forces who are stationed around the Second Shield's Barrier Tower.
This action was done as a plan of a diversion from Ash who brought Fabia, Jake, and Linus as a small team to directly go into the Barrier Tower through a secret underwater tunnel while Captain Elright and the Castle Knights takes the Gundalians' attention from them.
Right now, Bakugans are fighting against one another in the all-out war.
"Ability Activate!" Elright exclaimed while holding up an ability card that creates a yellowish white flash. The ability used for his Bakugan Partner; Haos Raptorix that roars before it spins and flew straight for the enemy Bakugans. "Gale Storm!"
Raptorix flew in and instantly defeated several Ventus Longfly and Subterra Clawsaurus that reverted to their ball form.
"Advance!" Elright shouted as he commanded his forces to keep on putting their fire power to supress their enemy forces that are fighting back. "Fight hard to take back the Second Shield from them!"
The Castle Knights keeps on advancing as they make their way for the Barrier Tower.
As the battle ensued, a Gundalian battleship appeared out of thin air as it had teleported in an instant. The vessel belonging to Gill who is accompanied by Stoica and Airzel upon ordered by Emperor Barodius.
"Seems that the Neathians were really trying to retake their shields." Stoica said as he and the two Generals look upon a screen which shows the ongoing battle upon the land. "The Castle Knight's captain is leading this little parade."
"to retake the Shield and reinforce their defense after our failed attempt to take them all down." Airzel spoke before he looks at Gill. "we should counterattack against them, Gill-sensei."
"Yes, but it's strange." Gill said while staring at the screen showing the battle. "That human isn't present upon the battle."
"That human?" Stoica asks before he and Airzel looks at the screen and sees that only the Castle Knights are at the scene. "Now that he mentioned it, that Ash Blake human isn't anywhere to be seen." Their eyes scanned every scene of the battle. "and I don't see those peculiar Bakugans as well."
"Perhaps after our last encounter, he is still recuperating?" Airzel asks while turning back to look at Gill.
"Perhaps." Gill squinted his eyes as he looks at the screen showing Elright's image. "but considering how much of a strategist Elright is, there's another possibility that we need to think of as well."
"and that is?" Stoica asks.
"a diversion." Gill replied before he turns and begins walking away from his commanding seat. "Airzel. I'm leaving you to command the forces. Stoica, you come with me to the Barrier Tower."
"For what?" Stoica asks.
"To get rid of the rats infesting the Barrier Tower." Gill said with a murderous look in his eyes.
Within an underground waterway that is located underneath the Second Shield's barrier tower, there is a pool of water which is used as a source of coolant for the tower's electrical device. Cables being present in the water which soon had bubbles and several shadows from which Ash and the others came appearing out of.
Ash and the others look around and sees no one in the area before they made their way to the shoreline and gets out of the water.
"Looks like Captain Elright and the others got their attention." Jake said after taking off his mask and looking around the area. "no guard or anyone in sight."
"We should hurry." Fabia said while discarding her mask, and then her webbed gloves. "without a doubt, our diversion attack will make the Gundalians call reinforcement and when that happens."
"Got it." Ash said as his Unite with Phos came undone. The man then looks at Linus. "where should we go from here, Linus?"
"to the elevator and we need to head for the 5 floor where the Element's Energy is needed to reactivate Barrier Tower and deploy the Second Shield." Linus replied as he then points to a metal doorway. "That doorway will lead straight for the elevator."
"Good." Ash said after nodding before he looks at the others. "as much as this is an infiltration mission, let's try to not get too much attention from any guards that may have stayed behind."
"yes." "got it!" Fabia and Jake replied.
Afterwards Ash and the others head straight for the doorway which opens for them to enter before closing.
Back upon the battlefield. Captain Elright is soaring in the sky while riding on his Haos Raptorix's shoulder. The Captain of the Neathia's Castle Knights fighting in the diversion battle against the Gundalians.
"Ability Activate!" Elright exclaimed after holding up an ability card that shines a white light. "Glimmer Breath!" his Bakugan Partner charges energy in its jaws before spewing out rains of yellow energy beams that came down upon the Gundalian Bakugans. The Captain sees the diminishing numbers before spotting the Gundalian Airship that is flying. "as expected, they came."
As Captain Elright watches the airship, he didn't notice a blue star shining from below and a stream of blue energy came flying up and bombarding his Haos Raptorix' under side.
"w-what the!?" Captain Elright tried to hang on to his Bakugan which is trying to regain its flight. The Captain looks down and sees Stoica riding on the head of his Bakugan Partner; Aquos Lythirus. "Stoica!"
"yo~! Looks like you guys went for the strike against us, huh?" Stoica said with a smirk. "you guys must really be desperate to get your Second Shield back, right?"
"and you guys must be desperate to thwart us, correct?" Elright replied. "I assume that the other Gundalian Generals aren't far from where you are?"
"nope, it's just me, the stoic Gill, and his student; Airzel." Stoica said before he smirks even more. "and we're just enough to destroy you all!" he then takes out an ability card that shines a blue light. "Ability Activate!"
"Merfolk!" Lythirus' eyes glows blue before the lobster like Bakugan fires a waving blue energy blast at Raptorix who dodges.
"I'm not going down that easy!" Elright exclaimed as his Bakugan stays afloat in the air. The Captain of the forces looking down at Stoica before smiling a bit when he spotted the ground nearby just bulging up. "and also, I advise you to rethink of where you're standing right now."
"huh? What does that supposed to..!?" Stoica spoke before he gets cut off when the ground nearby suddenly explodes with dirt and sand flying everywhere. "what!?"
Lythirus looks at the dirt explosion before Bulltican made an appearance right out of the dirt.
"what?! where he came from!?" Stoica exclaimed in shock.
"Eat this!" Bulltican shouted before he rams a powerful right hook straight at Lythirus' head and slams the Lobster Bakugan straight to the dirt.
"agghh!" Stoica got sent flying as he crashes into some tree branches. The Aquos Gundalian General remains inside before he pops his head out and sees Bulltican grabbing Lythirus's body and lifts the water Bakugan up and then throwing him away. "what the!? Where the heck he came from!?"
"if you think that this was just a simple diversion battle, you are mistaken." Elright spoke out as purple energy beams came flying out of nowhere and directly hitting the Gundalian Bakugans who were reverted to their ball form. "we not only battle to divert your attention, we battle to take you all down!"
"what!?" Stoica exclaimed in surprise as not only Bulltican, but there is also Linehalt who is far away and equipped with his Rifle Battle Gear is currently sniping down the enemy forces, and Asgard who came rushing into the battlefield alongside the Castle Knight's Bakugan.
"Come and get some!" Bulltican shouted as the Bull Dragon Bakugan held Lythirus by the tail and proceeds to spin him around before throwing him to a group of Gundalian Bakugans that fell together. The Subterra Bakugan roars before blowing out steam from his nostrils and then charging into the battle.
Returning in the Barrier Tower, in the hallway section of the building.
Gundalian Guards were rushing off the scene as they were tasked to guard the Second Shield's Generator but was now ordered to go straight outside and fend off the incoming Neathia forces.
As the guards were running off, Ash and the others made a quiet appearance into the scene. The group lurking quietly as they watched the guards leave their area.
"Looks like Captain Elright and the others are getting their entire attention." Jake commented and Ash nodded.
"Where we go next?" Ash asks while looking at Linus.
"Down the hallway and then we take the stairs that will lead straight for the Shield's generator." Linus replied while holding up a cube shaped baton which projected a hologram image of the building's blueprints with a red dot which indicates their current whereabouts. "we need to go pass a few doorways on our way, but we should be able to reach the Generator if we manage to keep our whereabouts a secret."
"That is a big if." Drago spoke while popping out and riding on Ash's right shoulder. "You guys can't hear it, but the battle outside is growing a bit hectic now that the Gundalian Generals have arrived."
"What?" Fabia looks surprised before she looks at her Gauntlet Shooter which creates a small screen showing the battle outside; the princess seeing Elright's Raptorix along with Bulltican battling against Stoica's Lythirus. "They're already here earlier than expected!"
"if that guy is here, I doubt the other generals aren't wating around for us to come out." Jake said as he took a quick look side to side and then back at Ash. "Should we hurry up and get to the Generator?"
"Time is wasting and all…" Ash said as he thought about their plan. "if we take too long, Captain Elright and the others will lose." He then looks at the others. "very well, let's go and get to the Generator as quick as possible."
"Yes!" Fabia and the others replied before the group made a move.
They began to hastily yet stealthy rushes in the hallway as they just move as fast as they could while being wary of their surroundings.
Ash runs forward before he stops by a corner and Fabia and the others followed in his action. The young man then quietly and sneakily go to check the corner where he finds a bunch of Gundalian Guards standing in front of a doorway.
"Seems that even with the battle outside, they still maintain some defense inside." Ash whispers before he held a hand to Drago. "Think you can distract them for us, Drago?"
"Leave it to me!" Drago said before he hops onto Ash's palm while turning into a ball.
Ash then looks to the side before he proceeds to flick the Bakugan to another corner hallway where the ball made echoing noises that got the Gundalian Guard's attention.
"Hide!" Ash commanded Fabia and the others as they quickly hide from the Gundalian guards who came running after the source of the noise while completely unaware of the fact that they were there. "Now move!" after hiding, the group made a quick run for the doorway while Drago quickly came flying back to his partner.
Upon a higher floor level in the building, Ash and the others were running up the stairs before they came to a stop when they find a bunch of Gundalian Soldiers stationed by and now are looking upon them.
"Damnit! They still have guards here!?" Ash said before he sees Jake rushing straight for the guards who gets lariat to the ground by the large buff man. "h-hey! Jake!"
"go! I'll hold these guys off!" Jake shouted as he proceeds to grab a Gundalian soldier and picks him up before throwing him to others who fell. "go!"
"You can't be thinking of taking them all on!" Fabia exclaimed.
"We need to reactivate the Second Shield as soon as possible! And you guys can't be wasting your time here! Go!" Jake shouted before he grabs a Gundalian Soldier that tried to slip pass him, the buff man began to swing him around before throwing him away. He then looks back at the others. "Go!"
Ash and the others look hesitant at first before they nodded and then bolted straight for the next doorway while kicking away any Gundalian Soldier that tried to take them down.
The three made their way to the door as they entered through before it closes and Jake is left to face off against the Gundalian Soldiers in a wrestling fight where he proceeds to hold one up and then throws them at a group that was coming straight at him.
At the top floor of the Barrier Tower, Ash and the others finally reached their destination as they find the Second Shield's Generator that is offline and unguarded.
"good! the Generator!" Fabia said as they rush straight for the Generator but their path gets blocked by a bolt of red electricity that came from Gill who made a sudden appearance out of nowhere. "Wha!?"
"Going somewhere?" Gill said with a smirk while Airzel came and joined his side.
"Gill and Airzel!" Fabia said as she and the others got ready for a fight.
"How smart of you to think that you can go and launch an attack while having the objective to get the Second Shield back online." Gill said with a short chuckle before he squinted his eyes. "But such an attempt is utterly foolish against us."
"seems that we can't avoid a fight even if we wanted to." Fabia said while Aranaut came and rides on her shoulder. "get ready for battle, Aranaut."
"as you wish, Princess!" Aranaut replied.
"Wait." Ash spoke while holding a hand in front of Fabia who looks at him. "a battle can't be passed off but we got something more important than that." He then looks at Linus. "is it possible for you to reactivate the Second Shield on your own, Linus?"
"yes," Linus said with a nod. "I only need to reinput the activation code and use Neo's Element power to restart it."
"good." Ash nodded back before he faces Gill and Airzel. "I'll take these two on. Fabia, you protect Linus as he reactivates the Second Shield."
"what?!" Fabia gasps in surprise. "You can't be serious, Ash!"
"she's right." Gill said with a smirk.
"we shall see about that." Ash said before taking a quick glance at Linus. "think you can reactivate the Second Shield on your own?"
"Yes. You can count on me." Linus replied with a nod and Ash nodded back before he faces Gill and Airzel.
"let's do this!" Ash said while holding up his right hand that held Drago, Phos, and Prision's Bakugan Ball in between his fingers.
"You will not regain the Second Shield!" Gill exclaimed while he and Airzel picks out their Bakugan Balls.
"BAKUGAN! SHOOT!" the three soon threw out their Bakugan balls that hops on the ground a few times before their forms popped out within a red, green, and blue flashing light. "POP OUT!"
In a second, a blast occurred on the side of the Barrier Tower and from within it came out Krakix and Chimera who were kicked right out of the building by Drago, Phos, and Prision.
As the Bakugans came out of the building, Ash and his foes came jumping off the building and faces one another.
"let's put these Gate Cards to use!" Ash said while taking out a red Gate Card then threw it to the ground where it disappears while creating a red energy pulse. He then takes out an ability card that he inserted into his Gauntlet Shooter that flashes a red light. "Drago! Ability Activate!"
"Galactic Dragon!" Drago roars as he charges up red flaming energy in his jaws before unleashing a huge fireball.
"like I let you!" Airzel shouted while holding up an ability card that shines a green light. "Ability Activate!"
"Burst Typhoon!" Chimera grabs the long locks of his hair and begins to spin his head around in creating a huge green gust of a twister.
The two attacks came flying at one another before both collided and caused an explosion.
"Kid! Give me some juice!" Prision shouted as he came flying straight for Chimera.
"Right!" Ash said while already inserting a new ability card into his Gauntlet that shines a green light. "Ability Activate!"
"Hyper Verde!" Prision roars as he spreads his wings out while emanating a green glowing aura before zooming straight for Chimera.
"Foolish!" Airzel exclaimed while holding up an ability card. "Ability Activate!"
"Multi-Cam Effect!" Chimera's body glows before the Bakugan turns invisible and disappears.
"What!?" Prision came flying pass where Chimera was, the Bakugan stopping his attack as it tried to search for its foe. "Where did he go!?"
As Prision wasn't looking, a pair of sharp glowing red eyes appears behind him, and Chimera appeared.
"Prision! Behind you!" Drago shouted.
"Wha!?" Prision quickly turns and sees Chimera charging green electrical energy on his right hand. "Damnit!"
"you're mine!" Chimera shouted as he swings his electrified hand at Prision.
"Phos! Help Prision out!" Ash shouted as he held up his Gauntlet Shooter which shines a blue light. "Ability Activate!"
"Head Plasner!" Phos gathers energy on the forehead of his three heads before firing three blue energy beam that flew straight into the sky and instantly collided with Chimera then caused an explosion.
"Aggghh!" Chimera cries out in pain as the explosion causes him to lose his holdings in the air.
"Chimera!" Airzel shouted as he hangs onto his Bakugan partner while shielding his face from the smoke before he and Chimera came crashing to the ground.
"You owe me one, Prision." Phos said while Prision growls in annoyance.
"Like I want you to help me." Prision retorted.
Meanwhile on the ground nearby, Krakix and Drago are in a hand on hand power struggle as both Pyrus Bakugans are standing their ground against one another.
"don't back down, Drago!" Ash shouted as Drago roars in reply while gripping his hold on Krakix and using his entire strength to push back the Samurai Bakugan.
"don't let this fool defeat you, Krakix!" Gill commanded as Krakix groans and using more power against Drago.
Both keeps on their power struggle before they quickly pulled away and then put some distance with one another.
"Drago! Ability Activate!" Ash shouted as his Gauntlet Shooter shines a red light.
"Dragon Impulse!" Drago charges flaming energy in between his claws that are held in front of his chest. The energy sphere grew as the Dragon Bakugan pulls it back and then threw it forward.
"Krakix!" Gill called out while swinging out an ability card that shines a red light. "Ability Activate!" Krakix roars before the Samurai Bakugan spewed out flames from his jaws. "Ashura Flames!"
The two flaming attacks collided and caused a red flaming explosion that blew out smoke everywhere before it dispersed when Drago and Krakix flies in and then slams their right fists against one another.
"This guy, he's strong!" Drago said while Krakix growls in response.
"looks like if it's one on one, we'll have a hard time." Ash said before he proceeds to raise his Gauntlet Shooter that glows and then creates his three Bakugan's Battle Gears that he grabs. "Drago! Everyone! It's Battle Gear time!"
"right!" Drago nods before pushing Krakix back and then flying into the air.
"if you think you can win with just a Battle Gear…" Gill said as he raises his right hand as he slowly grips his fingers which creates red electricity and from that static appears a red Battle Gear. "you are surely mistaken!"
"I shall follow your lead, Gill-sensei!" Airzel said as he copied Gill and created a green Battle Gear.
"Battle Gear! Set up!" the three soon threw their Battle Gears into the air and in an instant, the Bakugans equipped their weapons on.
The Gundalian Bakugans dons their Battle Gears as Krakix got a backpack with a pair of extended rods with a sword and claw while Chimera gets weaponry equipped on its wings and waist.
"Battle Gear Ability Activate!" the three fighters shouted as Ash inserted three ability cards into his Gauntlet Shooter that shines a red, blue, and green flash while Gill and Airzel held up an Ability card that shines red and green respectively.
"Nova Blaster!" Drago roars as his Battle Gear charges energy and then protrudes its two cannons which aims at Krakix before firing a powerful energy blast.
"Vicer! Kusanagi!" Krakix leans out its one rod with the sword that charges with red static before firing a red bolting attack.
The two attacks flew and collided before they created a huge explosion in the sky.
"Metal Turbine!" Chimera spreads his wings and sprout out his Battle Gear's weapons and unleash a full salvo attack of green energy beams and missiles.
"Like that will hit me!" Chimera shouted as his Battle Gear's turbines and missile pods glows green and begins to spin rapidly. "Vilantor Gear!" as the turbines spins before creating a green hurricane like energy storm attack. "Cyclotron!"
The two Ventus Bakugans unleashed their attacks that collided with one another and caused multiple explosions upon one another.
"If you think that attack of yours can defeat me, you are mistaken!" Chimera said before he made a noise when he glanced back and sees Prision appearing behind him. "What!? when did you!?"
"Terrorcrest!" Phos pulls back his right armored claw and then slams it straight upon Chimera's back before unleashing a direct blue energy blast. "Stigma!"
"gaaahh!" Chimera cried out in pain before the winged human Bakugan glows green and was forcibly reverted to his ball form.
"Chimera!" Airzel shouted as Chimera's Bakugan Ball came dropping near his feet. "This is impossible!"
"that's one down!" Prision said while Phos came landing below him before both turns to look at Krakix as Drago keeps on firing energy blast from his Battle Gear's cannons. "and one more to go!"
"you've become weak, Airzel!" Gill spoke in annoyance to see his comrade's Bakugan being defeated before he turns and face his own foe while holding up two ability cards that shines red. "Krakix! Double Ability Activate!"
"Argon Stream! Plus! Vicer Cannon!" Krakix retracts its arms and points out its cannons at Drago as its two arm rods pointed forward before the Samurai Bakugan unleashes four flaming energy blasts at Drago.
"Us too! Drago!" Ash shouted while inserting two ability cards into his Gauntlet Shooter that shines red. "Double Ability activate!"
"Firem Tornado! Plus! Jetkor Impact!" Drago roars as the dragon Bakugan spins and gets enveloped in a spinning flame tornado which blazes out of control before flying straight for Krakix.
Drago flew straight for Krakix's attack as the two collided in a power struggle that creates red static discharge everywhere.
"even at this much power…" Ash said while seeing how Drago is struggling against Krakix. He then thinks of using another ability card before he quickly remembers the Gate Card. "that's right! The Gate card!" he then swung his right hand forward. "if I remember correctly." He swung the hand to the side and then to the sky. "Gate Card Open!"
"Nova Dragon!" the field glows red before shining and bursting with flaming energy that gathers upon Drago whose attack grew bigger and stronger.
"his Gate Card boosts his Bakugan's power even more!?" Gill said in shock before he grits his teeth while swinging out his right hand. "do not be defeated by the likes of him, Krakix!"
Both Pyrus Bakugans keeps on their power struggle before Drago's attack overpowers Krakix's attack and the Dragon bakugan forced through then rams itself straight upon the Samurai Bakugan who gets bombarded with a huge flaming explosion.
"alright!" "w-what!?" Ash and Gill see the result as Krakix falls to the ground before the Samurai Bakugan glows red and reverts to its ball form.
"Looks like this is the end of the line for you guys!" Prision said as he and Phos came to Ash's side, Drago following as the red dragon Bakugan came landing behind them. The three Bakugans reverted to their ball form and was caught by their partner.
"This battle is over!" Ash shouted. "give up and leave this place!"
"don't get cocky just because you managed to defeat us once!" Airzel shouted before he looks at Gill. "do not hear them, Gill-sensei! They will not force us to retreat!"
"You think I will retreat!?" Gill growls angrily while gripping hold of Krakix's Bakugan ball in his grasp. "Never!" he then takes out a red ability card and then threw it to the ground. "Gate Card! Set!" the card sticks to the dirt before it disappeared, and a red energy pulsed out. "I shall destroy you all!"
"If you won't give up!" Ash said while holding up his Bakugan's Balls. "let's teach them, you guys!"
"Right!" Drago and the others replied.
"Bakugan! Shoot!" the three threw out their Bakugans and they arise in their real forms. "Fight!"
"raaahh!" Prision and Chimera flew into the skies as both Ventus Bakugans did a mid-air combat battle while Drago and Phos faces Krakix on the land.
"Ability Activate!" Gill shouted while swinging out an ability card that flashed red.
"Deadly Nebulous!" Krakix growls as the Samurai Bakugan's horns glows red before it unleashes a rain of red lightning bolts.
"Drago! Phos!" Ash called out while inserting ability cards into his Gauntlet Shooter that shines a red and blue light. "Ability Activate!"
"Helix Shield!" Drago pulls back his hands before swinging them forward and creating a red energy barrier that blocks and deflects Krakix's attack. "go! Phos!"
"no need to tell me!" Phos shouted as he rushes straight for Krakix, the water Bakugan's claws glows blue and grew long. "Hunter Rip!"
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Phos came and went pass Krakix who roars in pain after receiving the numerous claw strikes to its chest.
"damnit!" Gill growls angrily
"Chimera! Take down that fly and focus on taking out those two!" Airzel commanded while swinging out an ability card that shines green. "Ability Activate!"
"roger!" Chimera spreads his wings out before folding them and begins to spin then turns into a green twister. "Mirage Typhoon!" the twister then flies to the land and straight at Drago and Phos. "Prepare yourself!"
"Kid!" Prision shouted out.
"Double Ability Activate!" Ash shouted while swinging out his Gauntlet Shooter that shines a green light.
"Hyper Verde!" Prision growls as his body emanates a green aura before the Ventus Bakugan flies down straight and catches up with Chimera who he rams to the side in halting his attack. "raaah!"
"y-you dare!?" Chimera shouted.
"just shut up and eat this!" Prision shouted as he roars while charging energy into his jaws before spewing out a green energy beam that splits and grew large in numbers. "Fly Destroyer!"
"nowwwaaahh!" Chimera gets the full blast of the attack and gets consumed in a huge explosion before he glows green and was forcibly reverted to his ball form.
"Chimera!" Airzel gasps in surprise as his Bakugan Partner's ball fell in between his feet. "that's impossible!"
"damnit!" Gill clicks his tongue before he raise his right hand and creates Krakix' Battle gear which he grabs and throws into the air. "Battle Gear! Set up!"
Krakix growls as the Samurai Bakugan dons its Battle Gear on.
"If you think you will win against us, you are surely mistaken!" Gill shouted before he swings a hand forward. "Gate Card Open!" the field soon flashes white, and the entire land suddenly turns greyish red. "Mars Field!"
"this Gate card.." Drago and the others looks at the field before they see their bodies being petrified into red stone. "w-what is this!?"
"Gate Card, Mars Field will turn your Bakugan into stone and erase their very existence!" Gill said before he held up an ability card that shines red. "Battle Gear Ability Activate!"
"Vicer Gear! Kusanagi!" Krakix growls and then points out the equipped sword on its backpack and charges energy before firing a powerful blast straight at Drago and the others.
"aggghhh!" Drago and the others get hit with the blast as they were trying to fight back but the damage accumulating on their bodies grew by the passing second.
"Drago! Your defenses!" Ash takes out an ability card and was about to insert it into his Gauntlet Shooter but after he inserts it, nothing happened. "What? why won't the ability card activate!?"
"it's useless! As long as Mars Field is activated, your Bakugan's abilities won't activate!" Gill smirks before swinging his hand forward. "go! Krakix! Destroy them!"
Krakix growls and uses more power which made the red energy blast grew larger.
"aggghh!" Prision and Phos' body glows before they reverted to their ball form and leaves only Drago who is barely holding himself against the attack.
"Drago! Hang on!" Ash cried out. "Drago!"
"Raaaahh! My power! I can't!" Drago roars in pain as his body slowly turns into red stone. "I-I can't!"
"Drago! Drago!" Ash yells out. "DRAGO!"
As all hope seems lost in the battle, a large shadowed being suddenly came bursting out of the barrier tower's side building.
"Ability Activate!" someone shouted out as the large shadowed being appears out of its darkness and reveals itself to be a large orangeish brown golem Bakugan appears and lifts one of its large fists. "Counter Exia!" the fist glows orangeish yellow before slamming it straight upon the field that cracks and instantly shatters.
"w-what is this!?" Gill looks in shock as his Gate Card gets destroyed. "my Gate card was nullified!?"
As the gate card was nullified, Drago's petrified body regresses and turns back to normal.
"You are!?" Ash spoke out while looking upon the large golem Bakugan that appeared.
"It's Coredem, Subterra Coredem." The golem bakugan introduced himself before looking at Drago. "you alright there?"
"yeah, thanks." Drago said while getting back to his feet.
"Ash-san! you alright!?" Jake's voice is heard as Ash turns and sees the big man waving a hand to him. "Ash-san!"
"Jake!" Ash smiles in seeing his comrade all fine. "you're alright!"
"so much annoyances!" Gill growls before he held up an ability card that shines red. "Krakix! Finish them off!"
"Argon Stream!" Krakix pulls back its hands and then fires out streams of fire.
"Coredem! Give Ash-san and Drago some cover!" Jake shouted while inserting an ability card into his Gauntlet Shooter that shines an orangeish yellow light. "Ability Activate!"
"Armored Exia!" Coredem got in front of Drago and then slams his fists together. The Golem Bakugan's body glows oragenish and shines like its metal.
Krakix's Argon Stream spewed its flames upon Coredem who stands in his place and didn't budge at all.
"Coredem!" Drago cried out to his comrade who is getting blasted with flames.
"don't worry. It's not even warm." Coredem said.
"Drago! Now is the time to finish them off!" Ash said as his Gauntlet Shooter materializes the dragon Bakugan's Battle Gear.
"right!" Drago said while getting ready.
"Battle Gear! Set up!" Ash said before he throws the Battle Gear into the air and Drago roars as his Battle Gear materializes onto his body. The young man then takes out an ability card that he inserts into his Gauntlet Shooter that shines and flashes a bright red light. "Battle Gear Ability! Activate!"
"Jetkor! Delta!" Drago roars as his Battle Gear protrudes out its two cannons that are aimed at Krakix.
"go! Full power, Drago!" Ash shouted out.
"Target locked on!" Drago locks his target on before roaring as the cannons charges energy and then fires two powerful flaming blast. "FIRE!"
"Krakix!" Gill shouted as Krakix tried to counterattack with its Argon Stream but when the attack collided, it only resulted in the Samurai Bakugan getting blasted by Drago's attack before being consumed in a huge explosion. "Krakix!"
Krakix reverts to its ball form and came bouncing then rolls near Gill's feet.
"alright!" Ash said while Drago and Coredem glows then reverts to their ball form before flying back to their respective partners who catches them. "We won!"
"T-That is impossible!" Airzel looks shocked. "Gill-sensei and his Krakix is!?"
"damnit!" Gill growls angrily as he glares hatefully at Ash. "that human!" he takes out a Gate card and was about to throw it when the land suddenly rumbles. "w-what the!?"
The land just shakes terribly before a loud rumble is heard from the barrier tower. Ash and the others looks at the building and sees a large crystal rod like tower extending out of the rooftop and began to emanate a greenish glow that pulsates in the sky.
"what's going on?" Ash asks in seeing the tower.
"Ash!" Fabia's voice is heard as Ash turns and sees that Fabia along with Linus have come out of the Barrier tower via the hole he made in his battle against Gill and Airzel. The princess doing a thumbs up to him. "the Barrier Tower is online and the Second Shield is coming back up!"
"Is that so!?" Ash said before he smiles and did a thumbs up in return. "well done, you two!"
"Gill-sensei! If the Second Shield becomes fully operational, we will not be able to return to Gundalia!" Airzel told Gill as he sees the tower creating a nearly transparent rainbow barrier that is growing in size. "we need to leave now!"
"to be forced to retreat!" Gill growls angrily before he glares hatefully upon Ash. "That human! That Ash Blake!" he then turns around and begins walking away before disappearing with Airzel who followed him, both Gundalian Generals being teleported back to their airship.
On another side of the battlefield, Stoica and Lythirus faces off against Captain Elright along with Ash's other Bakugan partners who have finished taking down most of the Gundalian Bakugans.
"this ain't looking nice at all" Stoica said before he turns and sees the Second Shield coming back online. "damnit! The second shield is coming online!?"
"better run home if you don't want to stay here with us." Elright said with a smile while Bulltican and the others gets ready for another rumble against Stoica and Lythirus.
"to think that we get forced to retreat two times in a fight." Stoica said before he clicks his tongue and then looks at Lythirus. "we're leaving, Lythirus!"
"major annoyance. Best to be left for later." Lythirus said with a few strange gurgling noises before the Lobster Bakugan and his partner glows and then gets teleported away.
"Seems that Ash and the others have succeeded in the mission." Asgard said as he looks at the sky and sees the expanding barrier. "the Second Shield has gone online."
"and forcibly making the Gundalians retreat in an instant." Linehalt added in.
"It was about time that they did or else I would've gone on a rampage straight to the tower!" Bulltican said before blowing off steam from his nostrils.
"let's try to not go that far." Elright told Bulltican before he turns and sees the Barrier Tower that projects the shield. "Finally, we managed to regain some protection for the kingdom."
Back with Ash and the others, Fabia along with Linus and Jake rejoins the Young Dragonar who stood outside of the Barrier Tower.
"we've fully restored the Second Shield to its full power." Linus said with a nod and a smile. "we've finally drove them away from here!"
"And it is all thanks to Ash-san!" Jake said with a grin and a pumped up fist. "He showed those Gundalians what it means to be facing us Castle Knights."
"yes, indeed!" Fabia nods with a big smile to Ash. "we've finally driven our enemies and its all thanks to you and your Bakugan partners, Ash!"
"we all did it." Ash said as he looks at Jake. "Jake made a path for us to go to the Generator." He then looks at Fabia and Linus. "Fabia and Linus reactivated the shield." He then looks at them all at once. "and Captain Elright along with the rest of the Castle Knights all did their best to divert the enemies' attention. If there is any gratitude, it should be to all of us."
"he's right." Drago said as he along with Prision and Phos came hopping onto Ash's right shoulder. "You all did a great job against the enemies, be proud of yourselves!"
Fabia and the others smiles and nodded in unison.
"everyone!" Captain Elright's voice is heard as everyone turns and sees him coming by in the air while riding on his Raptorix while Bulltican and the others followed on foot. "you guys did it! great work!"
"Captain Elright! Hey~!" Jake hollered out while waving a hand around in the air.
Everyone watches their comrades coming before they suddenly turns to look at Ash who suddenly fell on his butt.
"Ash! Are you alright!?" Fabia cried out as Ash just awkwardly smiles and chuckles.
"sorry, my legs just gave out after the whole ordeal." Ash said while patting his right knee. "with all that we've done today, I'm completely spent."
After hearing from him, Fabia and the others could only smile and laugh a bit in response.
"I guess you would be considering how much of an accomplishment you've made." Fabia said with a giggling smile. "here, give me your hand and I'll help you get back up."
The battle to regain the Second Shield is over, Ash and the others were victorious against the Gundalians and they all managed to achieve more peace for the people of Neathia.
Meanwhile on the fleeing Gundalian airships.
"raaahh!" the commander seat gets trashed by Gill who is looking extremely furious. "to be forced to retreat!? By the likes of a human!? Damnit!"
Gill continues to trash his seat while Airzel and Stoica stands nearby and watches.
"Gill looks more pissed off than usual." Stoica commented. "that Ash Blake guy must've really ticked him off."
"more than that." Airzel said as he squinted his eyes. "that human bested all of us in battle and we were completely helpless against him." he clenches his fingers into hardened fists. "this is beyond frustrating!"
"is that so?" Stoica said with a glance at Airzel before he looks to the side. "but I can get that feeling." He gets a flashback of Lythirus getting beaten down by Bulltican after receiving a concentrated energy blast from Linehalt's Boomix rifle. The Aquos General squinted his eyes while smirking. "because I plan to return the favour ten fold when we meet again!"
"ASH BLAKE!" Gill growls before he swung out his right hand and fired red static that burns his seat in flames. The Pyrus General just looking enraged. "I VOW TO KILL YOU NO MATTER WHAT!"
