About two days later, the time had passed after the battle to regain Neathia's second shield. The situation is that there is a time of temporary peace for the kingdom where the people are slowly rebuilding their city.
Currently at the downtown area, a large rubble of a glass building is on the road and is making traffic for the people, all watched and looked at the broken building piece that gets grabbed and lifted off the ground by Bulltican who let out a snort of steam from his nose before he proceeds to take it away to a large pile of broken rubble.
A clean-up is in process as Ash and his partner Bakugans are helping the citizens in rebuilding their kingdom.
"alright~! Alright~! Alright~! A little to the left~! and then down~!" Ash hollered out, the young man over seeing a large broken rubble piece that is carried by Drago and Linehalt in the air. The two Bakugans working together in placing the object down to the pile. "down~!"
Drago and Linehalt placed the broken rubble on the top of the pile before they let go and watched as the piece wobbles a bit before staying put.
"alright!" Ash then looks to the side as Phos came by. "do it, Phos!"
"got it." Phos said before he charges energy upon his three heads and then spewed out a blue liquid like energy blast that sprayed itself upon the large pile of broken rubble that instantly began to steam and melt.
Ash and anyone nearby backed away from the large rubble as Phos had spit out powerful acid that is melting them all into a huge transparent goop in mere seconds.
"alright, this is done." Ash said before he did a hand wave to his partners. "Let's continue cleaning the place up, you guys."
"doing this sure gets tiring if we're only cleaning up." Drago said as he and Linehalt soon flew off to another part of the Kingdom that has rubble in need of cleaning up.
"makes me wonder if we're here to help fight or help clean up." Phos said while he and Bulltican went off to get any nearby rubble to make another pile.
Ash watched his partners leave before he turns and waved back at some Neathia children who called out to him. The young man smiles to them before he looks to the side and sees Fabia coming to his side while accompanied by Captain Elright.
"How is the situation with the Second Shield?" Ash asks Fabia. "were there any trouble in managing its security?"
"none at all" Fabia replied after shaking her head and then smiling. "with the progress we have been making, the second shield's security levels are back to what they were used to be."
"that's good to hear." Ash nodded with a smile before he looks at Captain Elright. "What about the plan to infiltrate the third shield? Have we found a good route to use to infiltrate the place?"
"we're still investigating." Captain Elright replied before pulling out a polyhedron shaped gem crystal that creates a hologram image of the Third Shield's Barrier Tower that isn't at the forest but in a barren wasteland and is guarded by dozens of Gundalian soldiers. "because of its location, we can't expect an infiltration tactic like before. We might have to think of a different form of an approach."
"I see…." Ash nods as he cups his chin and began to think while looking at the barren wasteland area. "can't expect any infiltration to be done with the terrain not being our friend. The layout of the land is all messed up." He hums a bit while scratching his chin. "got to think of a way to approach the tower without arising conflict so soon."
As Ash was thinking, Prision came flying into the scene as the green Bakugan lands near the group.
"hey, kid! Got a problem!" Prision spoke out. "a huge one!"
"what? what problem, Prision?" Ash asks.
"better if you guys come and check it out." Prision said before reaching out a hand to Ash and the others. "get on!"
Ash and the others look confused at Prision before to each other, they wondered what was wrong.
A few moments later, upon the sky above the Neathia Kingdom. Prision came flying above as he holds and carried Ash and the others on his right hand's palm.
"where's the problem, Prision?" Ash asks and Prision points a finger outward to the distance.
"look at that." Prision spoke, the green wind Bakugan pointing to the direction outside of the Neathia Kingdom's territory where there is the barren wasteland and the location of the Third Shield's barrier tower that now has dozens of Gundalian soldiers and Bakugans guarding the building. "the Gundalians went and up their security of the Third Shield's Barrier Tower."
"looks like the Gundalian Emperor plans to keep a strict and tight hold on it." Elright said as he is using a pair of hi-tech binoculars to check the area. He made a noise and tense up when his eyes spotted Gill with Airzel commanding the soldiers by the Barrier Tower. "or perhaps he plans to attack the second shield and regain his advantage of territory again?"
"no matter what the reason, we have to make preparations if either choices come in the future." Fabia said as she looks very serious. "we haven't been seeing the other Gundalian Generals and that just makes concern grow in my heart."
"you think the other Gundalian Generals are plotting something?" Ash asks.
"there's been many plots done by the Gundalians." Elright replied. "each one causing our military forces to be dwindled each time." He then looks tense. "if this is one of their plots, it might cause us the second shield and also possibly our last shield too."
"We cannot let that happen!" Fabia cried out as she looks to Ash. "let's prepare to attack them, Ash! We need to take the offense against them now!"
"wait, we can't be hasty." Ash replied as he stops Fabia from continuing with a hand raised. "right now, we got no idea what the Gundalians have in plan for us if we go in fast." He then looks at Prision. "take us down, Prision. We got to meet up and talk about the situation with Jake and everyone."
"got it." Prision replied before he proceeded to descend and fly back to the kingdom.
"What do you have in plan, Ash?" Elright asks the young man who is thinking hard. "do you plan for us to be on the offense or the defense on this situation?"
"for this plan of action…" Ash spoke before he looks and smiles at the two. "we'll need to do both."
"both?" Fabia asks after blinking her eyes twice. "we do both offense and defense at the same time? How?"
"with a little help from someone I know from my homeworld." Ash replied before he looks at Elright. "is it possible for a quick trip back to my world to pick someone up, Captain?"
"well, we have fixed our energy problem to allow transfer between dimensions and worlds…" Elright spoke before he looks confused. "just who do you wish to bring here?"
"someone who is well versed in the art of war." Ash said before he looks a bit blue and pale. "though I might have to convince her to calm down because of how I just disappeared without telling her and the others…."
"just who is this person?" Fabia asks. "a comrade?"
"She's more of closer person than that." Ash replied as he scratched his chin with an awkward look on his face. "the person we need is one of my fiancés."
"fiancés?" Fabia and Elright spoke in unison while Prision snorted.
"it'll be fun to watch that lady strangle you, kid." Prision said and Ash just looks scared in an instant to the idea.
"don't remind me." Ash replied.
Meanwhile, back at the world and in the Ansarivan Dragon Riding Academy.
A loud sneeze is heard at one of the many dorm rooms in the school as it came from Veronica who is sitting on her large king size bed that is shared between her, Ash, and the other fiancés. The woman is currently relaxing and resting as she is physically tired because of her current pregnancy.
"now I have a cold?" Veronica asks herself before sniffling a bit and then sighs. The woman then leans against her bed's back frame with the pillows under her. "being pregnant can be very hassling in such conditions…."
After Ash disappeared about 2 weeks ago, Veronica and the others are left to wait and see if he had gone somewhere for something and return a later time or if he's just hiding from them.
"how long does Ash plans on being gone?" Veronica asks as she went and caressed her pregnant stomach. "if he goes too far and being gone for too long till he pass the day of your birth, that man is in for a world of pain." She sighs and looks a bit annoyed. "well, the rest of us have been pouncing on him every day after the battle against Dharak…" she huffs a bit. "he should've trained his stamina as much as possible because of how many wives he's going to have to satisfy."
As Veronica stayed in her room to rest, a little rumble occurred as this shakes the entire room.
"what the?" Veronica looks at the room as everything was shaking. "what's going on?"
Veronica watched the situation before she sees a pair of dazzling light appearing by the door as Ash and Fabia soon appears by materializing.
"wha? Ash!?" Veronica exclaimed in seeing her fiancé appearing out of nowhere with an unknown women. "how!? When!? Where!? What!? Who!? Why!?" she gets off the bed and made her way to him, the princess proceeding to grab his cheeks and pull them apart to see if he was real or an illusion. "You're really Ash, right!?"
"Wy yam Wawg, Wenowica…" Ash replied a bit troubled as his cheeks gets pulled apart. The young man grabbing hold of Veronica's hands and pulled them down from his face. "I'm the real deal, Veronica. I'm Ash, your fiancé."
"I see..so you're back, Ash." Veronica said with a smile as she looks relieved for a moment but that changed when her expression turned serious and furious. "YOU'RE FINALLY BACK!"
"eh?" Ash made a confused noise and expression before his face went and formed a fully pained expression because Veronica proceeded to deliver a strong punch to his gut. "Gweh~!"
"you little bastard! Where have you been?! Leaving your pregnant fiancés and the others while you were off to who knows where!" Veronica yelled at Ash as she proceeded to pull his ears apart to the point she wished to rip them off his head. "What's your answer!? Huh!? What's your answer!?"
"owowowoow~! I'm sorry for leaving you all behind! But it was for a good reason! Lives were at stake! Owowowowow~! I'm sorry~! Please stop pulling my ears~!" Ash cried out in pain as he tried to explain as best as he could while facing the pain. "PLEASE STOP~!"
As Ash is in pain, Drago and the other Bakugans made an appearance by hovering in front of Veronica.
"hey, better listen to the kid and his current problem. Also take notice of your guest that he brought with him." Drago spoke out as Veronica looks at them before she finally noticed Fabia who looks a bit awkward of the situation.
About a minute later, Veronica settled down on the bed as she faces Fabia who is explaining the whole situation to her while Ash is behind the lines, trying to ensure that his ears had no tears or whatsoever from the Iron Blood Valkyrie's strong pulls.
"that is why I had to get and take Ash to Neathia." Fabia spoke as she is finishing her explanation to Veronica. "I'm sorry that I had to abruptly take him with me and not give him time to explain to you all." She then bows her head. "but please, Neathia needs his strength to survive the war and now we need your strength to help win the war. Please understand, Veronica-san."
As Fabia continues to bow her head, Veronica had her hands crossed under her chest; the first princess of Lautreamont processing the explanation from the supposed stranger from another world.
"a war between two kingdoms from another world that has Bakugans and no dragons, huh?" Veronica muttered out before she uncrosses her arms and place her hands on the bed then closed her eyes and let out a long sigh then turns to look at Ash with a rather skeptic look. "You're a magnet for trouble as always, Ash. Always getting danger to come to you wherever you go."
"it's not like I want to be one…" Ash replied a bit awkwardly before he shakes his head and looks a bit serious to Veronica. "but matters of that aside, Neathia needs all the help it can get to win the war. Can you come with us to help everyone, Veronica?"
"Do you even need to ask?" Veronica asks before she smiles. "though it's a shame that I can't wield my sword against another world's enemies and smite them down, it'll be a nice experience to command the Neathia forces to fight them instead."
"Then! Does that mean will you come with us!?" Fabia asks with a big smile.
"yeah." Veronica nodded before she slowly gets off the bed and then looks at Ash. "though we might need to leave a letter for the others." She cups her chin while looking to the side. "Knowing Prim, she might panic if she finds out that I'm gone without notice and might tell my father to go for a full wide search for me."
"yeah…that's true.." Ash thought as he imagined Prim panicking in a thought bubble.
A minute later; Ash wrote a letter and lightly packed his pregnant fiancé's belongings, then he and Veronica linked hands with Fabia as the three began to blur and slowly dematerialize into thin air in a flash of light.
After they disappeared, several knocks were heard from the door as Prim entered while carrying a set of tea on a silver tray.
"Veronica-sama, I have come with your afternoon tea." Prim said as she entered in and then made a confused noise when she finds the room empty. "eh? Veronica-sama? Where did you go? Veronica-sama?"
Prim had dozens of question marks appearing above her head, the maid began to look around for Veronica while not noticing the letter addressed to her and the others on the bedside table.
Back upon the Neathia Kingdom, and at a facility that is akin to that of a hi-tech sci-fi laboratory. Elright stood by a crystal pedestal while Neathian Scientists were checking on a system.
"transfer in progress. Initiate feedback call." A scientist called out as light began to gather upon the crystal pedestal from which shows Ash and the others slowly materializing into the room. "Transferring!"
In a second, Ash and the others materialized fully upon the crystal pedestal as they completed the transfer into Neathia's world.
"looks like you all arrived back quickly." Elright spoke as he approached the group before seeing Veronica amongst them, the Iron Blood Valkyrie looking a bit lightheaded. "is she the person we need for the plan?"
"yeah." Ash nodded before tending to Veronica who held a hand to her forehead. "you okay?"
"I will be soon enough." Veronica said as Ash helps her get down from the crystal pedestal before she sighs a bit tiredly. "that form of transportation can give quite the toll on the mind."
"apologies, but we've never attempted to do a transfer with someone in your current condition." Fabia spoke out before she calls for one of the staff members to get a wheel chair for Veronica. "hurry!"
"no need." Veronica spoke out with a hand raised. "I'm not that weak to be needing a chair." She then looks at Elright. "you're the commander of Neathia Kingdom's Castle Knights, correct? What's the current situation?"
"y-yes! Our surveillance team is keeping an eye on the Gundalian Forces who are still standing by at the wasteland area." Elright replied before he takes out the same Polyhedron shaped crystal which projected the hologram screen image that shows the Gundalians that are situation around the Barrier tower. "there's still no movement from them whatsoever."
"the enemy taking hold of Neathia's defense perimeter, huh?" Veronica looks at the screen before she cups her chin. "without a doubt, they're setting up their defensive line there in order to stall for time."
"Stall for time?" Fabia asks. "Are they planning to gather more forces to put a stronger hold on the Third Shield's barrier tower?"
"that's a possibility." Veronica stated with a nod to Fabia. "Considering that your forces had just regained your second defensive line a few days ago. It goes without saying that the enemy wished to retake their advantage over you all."
"then that means we got to put on a strong defense line in case they come and attack, right?" Ash asks.
"yes, but you would also need to prepare an offensive line." Veronica stated with a glance to Ash and then she looks back at Elright. "can you show me a layout of the area's terrain?"
"yes. Just a moment." Elright nodded before he proceeded to tap the crystal gem in his hand a few times which made the hologram screen show a 3D image of the area's entire layout. "This is the area."
Veronica looks at the 3D layout as she checks every part of the image before she finds one part that squinted her eyes.
"zoom in on that very area." Veronica said as she pointed to one part of the hologram screen.
"that area?" Ash and the others look as the image zooms in on Veronica's specified area. They watched and then made a surprised noise. "isn't that!?"
"seems that the enemy is planning to fool us all." Veronica said before she looks at Elright. "this is an urgent situation, gather all your enemy forces and move in positions that I instruct."
"yes! At once!" Elright replied before he cuts off the hologram screen and then goes off.
"if the enemy managed to fool us, it would without a doubt be consequential to all Neathia." Veronica spoke out before she turns and faced Ash and Fabia. "Ash, get ready for battle. Fabia, take me to your military command center. I need to oversee the situation."
"got it." "yes, follow me." Ash and Fabia replied before they moved out and split their path.
Meanwhile at the Third Shield's Barrier Tower. Gill and Airzel are overseeing their forces on the ground as they watched their military forces gathered and move into position.
"this time, that human will be defeated by my very hands!" Gill spoke out while looking very furious. "I'll destroy him and his Bakugans! And then I'll retake the Second Shield personally!"
"Gill-sensei, our forces have got to their positions." Airzel reported. "in time, our additional forces will be coming with the newly built weapons." He then pointed to one area of the barren wasteland that is a wall of rock but there is a visible crack which is large enough for a person to slip in. "also, our infiltration forces are ready to go into the Second Shield's barrier tower."
"get them all prepared as perfect as possible, Airzel." Gill stated with a serious look. "also, contact Kazarina about the ETA for the new creation she made with our new partner."
"at once!" Airzel replied before he goes off to do Gill's command.
"this time, you'll die at my hands, Ash Blake!" Gill growls as he had intense bloodlust in his eyes.

In note to every reader who has been waiting for the story to be continued, I'm very sorry to be putting the story back as I was focused on continuing my other stories that has been going well. I'll try my best to keep on updating the story but please be patient. Especially to the people who have been sending in reviews to keep on updating the story for a few months, I'm a person who has other things to attend to in life and I can't help it if I only got time to do certain stories to be updated.
