Wiz: Anti-heroes, walking a mysterious gray line between good and evil.
Boomstick: They do what they want, however they want, when they want.
Most of the Ultimates know a thing or two about antiheroes as they are a neutral breed of characters. They're the type who takes no sides of either good or evil and they do things in their own way for their own benefit.
Wiz: Vegeta, Prince of the Saiyans and rival to Goku.
Boomstick: And Shadow, the Ultimate Life Form and rival to Sonic.
"Yes! Finally, the Prince of all Saiyans is finally on the scene!" Hifumi exclaimed
"And I'm hyped for Shadow making his appearance too." Leon pointed out
Wiz: I'm Wizard and he's Boomstick, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
"I don't know personally well about Vegeta, but I'm more familiar with Shadow the Hedgehog, who belongs to the Sonic franchise." Chiaki asserted
"What do you know about Shadow?" Nagito asked
"I don't want to spoil much, but Shadow is depicted as mysterious, sharp-witted, and brooding antihero. In other words, he's what you can call him an edgelord." Chiaki noted
"Oh, I know what that word means. Edgelord means someone has a cool but edgy and a stone-cold personality and they never crack a smile which it's a fitting benefit for some fictional antiheroes." Kokichi noted
"That's correct Mr. Oma. Now about Vegeta, he's what he declares himself the "Prince of All Saiyans". Hifumi noted
"Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama since 1984 and it's one of the most greatest and recognizable Shonen Jump animes out there." Ryota noted
The first contestant was a man with large black spiky hair and wore some battle armor that has blue skintight suit though very few were actually black. His persona defines him as an arrogant and overconfident warrior who's seek to be the best of his kind.
VEGETA
(Cues: Dragon Ball Z - Vegeta's Theme - Bruce Falconer)
Wiz: Born a prince to the warrior-like Saiyan race, Vegeta's people were slaughtered by an evil tyrant named Frieza, who molded Vegeta into a deadly, ruthless killer.
Some were feeling sorry for Vegeta as his home planet and people were destroyed by his most hated enemy and was forced to serve under him as his pawn.
"That bastard! Vegeta has to get revenge on him somehow!" Akane said

"I see, the reason he became evil at first was because his planet was obliterated by Frieza himself and had to serve under him by conquering planets, but in reality, he was planning to get revenge on him with the help from Goku." Nagito noted
Boomstick: He even got hitched to Bulma, breaking poor Master Roshi's heart.
"Pervert! Filthy stinkin old pervert!" Tenko scoffed
Boomstick: Vegeta can move and fly at hypersonic speed. He can survive underwater and in far outer atmospheres for long periods of time. He even has the endurance to survive a nuclear freakin' blast.
"Holy hell, this guy's tougher than I thought." Leon anticipated
"And he's one of the best combatants so far in the show." Tsumugi noted
"Not bad for a Saiyan adult." Nagisa complimented

Wiz: Vegeta can use a natural inner energy called ki to create devastating attacks.
The crowd were now interested in ki and paid close attention to Vegeta's abilities.

Boomstick: His trademark attack is a purple laser called the Galick Gun.
"That's awesome!" Kaede commented, as she sees Vegeta firing the Galick Gun.
Wiz: His Big Bang Attack unleashes a huge explosion of energy covering a vast distance, and can be narrowed to a beam for concentrated accuracy.
"Very destructive..." Kyosuke commented
"But also impressive too." Chisa replied
Boomstick: He can launch a volley of energy bullets, pounding his foe with dozens of deadly blasts, but his most devastating move is his Final Flash attack, a huge golden beam that can destroy whole planets.
Nearly everyone's eyes widen after seeing Vegeta firing a huge golden beam which can be seen from space.
"That...was...EPIC!" Akane exclaimed, commenting on Vegeta's Final Flash.
"Now that's what I call EXTREME!" Monokuma commented
Wiz: Vegeta's ki is quite versatile and not limited to these four attacks. He is never without a weapon.
"Who needs weapons, when he can freakin fire huge-ass beams of death." Monosuke said
"His ki IS his weapon! Nothing else matters to him." Gozu replied
Boomstick: But wait, there's more!
They're showing Vegeta's transformation is his black spiky hair is now golden and his eyes are bright green as he was surrounded by an aura of powerful energy. Nearly everyone in their seats couldn't help but awed at this.

"Five hundred?! Damn, this dude is even more savage than he was before." Leon exclaimed
Boomstick: And he can take this form to the next level for yet another 500% increase. That's a lot of power in math.
"Five hundred plus another five hundred, t-t-that would be a t-thousand percent increase, which it's a-amazing!" Mikan added
"Now that guy's packing some awesome power levels!" Akane exclaimed
"Yes, out of all the warriors I've fought, Vegeta must be the most powerful one of all." Sakura assured
Wiz: The Super Saiyan form is sustained through Vegeta's remaining energy. Also, despite reaching the level of Super Saiyan 4, he was only able to do so with Bulma's Blutz Wave Machine, and cannot do so naturally.
"So how many forms does he have?" Kaito asked
"8 forms, but they're only including two transformations." Ryota answered
Boomstick: And in Death Battle, we don't allow help from spouses.
Wiz: Vegeta is cocky, arrogant, and proud. He seeks to be the best and is willing to fight the best to do so, even allowing his opponents to reach power levels much greater than his own.
"I think that is letting his enemies grow stronger than him would be a bad idea." Leon objected
"You are right there Mr. Kuwata. Vegeta's arrogant is easily his biggest downfall." Hifumi corrected
"Yes, Vegeta battled Cell while he was in his Semi-Perfect form, and was outmatched by Vegeta's incredible power level. He needed perfection, his perfect form, so he could have a true battle and Vegeta gave him some time and Cell was fortunate enough to find Android 18 and absorbed her and then finally obtaining his perfect form and Vegeta was now being outclassed by Cell's perfect form which his power level far exceeds Vegeta's." Ryota explained
"Well I'll be damned, he better not let his power get through his head." Juzo noted
"Last mistake he'll ever make." Daisaku added
Boomstick: While this has led to him dying twice so far, he's still around somehow kicking ass and being a dick.
"He's died twice?!" Kazuichi wondered, shocked for mentioning the fact.
"Yeah, when he or the other characters died, their souls end up in the Other world and can be resurrected by making a wish with the seven Dragon Balls." Tsumugi noted
"It is a miracle to resurrect dead people from beyond the grave." Himiko said, as some of the others would want to make a wish if the Dragon Balls exist.
Vegeta: I am a Super Saiyan!
The screen flashes bright until the screen is nothing but white as Vegeta prepares an attack.
Vegeta: And you can burn in hell!
"Sheesh! The way of this guy talks! I looove it!" Monokuma exclaimed
For an Anti-hero, most of the audiences can agree that Vegeta is a badass Saiyan in his own rights even though he's always an arrogant bastard.
The next contestant is a black and red anthropomorphic hedgehog with some white fur on his chest. He's also wearing some red air shoes with rocket thrusters in them and gloves with gold rings one on each of his wrist and his face is deadpan serious and dark looking.
SHADOW
(Cues: Sonic Adventure 2 - Thrown It All Away)
Wiz: Built by Prof. Gerald Robotnik with alien DNA, Shadow the Hedgehog was created to be the Ultimate Life Form.
"Ultimate Life-Form huh? He's got some attitude with a grudge and a dead look on his face, which I'm actually liking the looks on this dude." Leon inspected
"Yeeeeaah... about the face that he's making and his personality. Now that you mention it, he is making some resemblance of you-know-who right?" Kokichi stated, as he's staring at Maki, who stared back at him not saying a word to him.
"Don't even think about it, degenerate!" Tenko commanded
"A hedgehog's DNA infused with an alien's to become the Ultimate being. He must find his existence to have meaning or it would be boring." Izuru stated
Wiz: Despite being a powerful, living weapon, Shadow's initial purpose was to provide genes capable of curing the deathly ill, specifically, Gerald's granddaughter, Maria.
This brought most people to smile including Makoto, for seeing Shadow and Maria to grew very close to each other.
"Poor Maria, it is nice from him to go as far of finding a cure for her." Mikan spoke, her heart is filling with sorrow hearing that Maria is dying from an illness.
Wiz: But before Shadow could be shared with the world, tragedy struck.
Almost everyone cringed when they saw Maria getting shot by a soldier.
"What the fuck man?! What kind of motherfucker would shoot a girl like that?" Mondo yelled in anger, knowing she got stuck in the middle of a cross-fire.
"That is just too cruel." Sonia whimpered, even Chihiro and Mikan were sniveling in tears.
Boomstick: Then Shadow went crazy and tried to destroy the Earth for revenge, but he ended up saving the day instead.
"That's good to know. He went from being evil to now a good guy." Kazuichi said
"That's right. In the "Shadow the Hedgehog" game, he regain his memories about Maria, who wanted him to protect humanity instead of destroying all life on Earth." Chiaki noted
Boomstick: Though people are still getting sick on Earth, so uhh... guess he kinda forgot about that whole living cure thing, huh?
"Yeah, e-everyone usually get sick at times." Mikan said
"It's typical that he has forgotten his initial purpose." Kyoko pointed out

Wiz: Well, it wasn't exactly the moon, but Shadow survived a fall of about 200,000 miles. By the time he hit the ground, he was falling at a rate of over 6,000,000 feet per second.
Nearly everyone were impressed by Shadow surviving re-entry and falling that fast was awesome.
"Shadow's a bit tougher than I thought." Miaya noted
Boomstick: I feel sorry for whatever was around when he landed. Some guy just walking along and... (indistinctly) OH MY GOD!
Some chuckled or laughed at Boomstick's little role play.
"Believe me, we would react to something like that too." Aoi said

Boomstick: He can fire several different energy based projectiles like Chaos Spear and Beams. But his most powerful attack is Chaos Blast, a huge explosion which annihilates everything around him in seconds.
"It is a big self-destruct kaboom!" Monotaro noted
"Hell fucking yeah that blast rocks!" Monokid shouted
Wiz: He can also manipulate time and space with Chaos Control, though depending on the situation, using this technique to its fullest takes time and is impractical in combat.
"TIME STOP?! That's crazy, he might the advantage over Vegeta then!" Kazuichi noted
"This Chaos Force is more of it being magic than calling it supernatural." Himiko noted
"Kehahahahaha, the power of Chaos Force is the true abomination from hell!" Gundham grinned, a significant fact of the Chaos Force being amazing powerful.
"I LOOOOVEE it when he's playing rough to get!" Genocide Jack exclaimed
INHIBITORS RINGS

Wiz: Also, Shadow wears two Inhibitor Rings, which restrict his access to the Chaos Force to maintain control. Should he remove them, his power increases immensely, but is somewhat uncontrollable and quickly tires him out.
"I see, it's a gamble for him to unleash his full power if necessary." Kyoko noted
Boomstick: His Chaos power also increases depending on the number of Chaos Emeralds he has, and when he gets seven of them, ha, he goes super.
"Saiyan?!" Kokichi wondered
"Nope." Chiaki corrected him
They show the scene of Shadow and Sonic gathering all the seven Chaos Emeralds that comes with different colors of red, blue, green, yellow, cyan, purple and gray. Some of the audiences' eyes widen when they witnessed Shadow turning into his golden form exactly how he was golden in the teaser.

"Way to state out the facts." Leon replied
"Interesting, now I'm eager to see how this battle plays out." Byakuya said
Boomstick: He can fly, move near the speed of light, and is totally invincible.
"This makes Shadow sound more a of badass than ever before." Mondo noted
Wiz: Despite this, Shadow's super form can only last a few minutes.
"So his super form has a time limit?" Hajime wondered
"Yes, with the supply amount of rings in hand." Chiaki answered
"And he has to end the fight quickly before his super form wears off." Fuyuhiko clarified the statement as Chiaki nodded her head
"Vegeta's ki also has limits too." Ryota added
"This fight can go in either one's favor." Shuichi claimed
Boomstick: But, considering his super speed, a short time to him is a long time to his opponents.
"To Shadow having a short time is never been a problem for him." Mahiru concurred
"That sounds about right." Maki replied
Shadow: That's not all, I'm full of surprises.
Being the Ultimate Life-form, Shadow was an interesting to most of the students and teachers in the crowd. He can potentially surpassed Vegeta in raw power, but his super form is temporarily and yet he's still a badass at the end of the day. Gundham favors his Chaos powers, Maki and Mukuro were interested in his background. Monokuma loves his elegant, yet powerful Chaos Emeralds.
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all!

It's yet another close one, both are incredibly strong, fast, versatile in respective energies attacks and they have their own golden super transformations. The only difference is Shadow's super form can only last short while Vegeta can maintain his form longer if he has a large amount of ki within him. If Shadow can kill Vegeta right away, then it's a win for him, but on the other hand, Vegeta could tank any attacks that Shadow throws at him, so it seems that the Prince of all Saiyans might have a better chance of winning more often than not.
DEATH BATTLE
(Cues: Androids Steal Truck - Dragon Ball Z)
Some students and a few teachers awed as Shadow is skating with his hover shoes in a green field. He then suddenly stops in front of the Prince of all Saiyans himself, Vegeta, whose back is turned.
The group were more intrigued than they were ever before as they are adding actual voices to the show to make it more entertaining. Shadow's voice made some timid audiences like Mikan shiver as a sign of intimidation.
Shadow: There you are! I knew I sensed an extraordinary power around here.
"He can sense his ki a mile away." Komaru concurred
Vegeta: Well that certainly sounds like me.
He turns around to face his opponent... who is an anthropomorphic hedgehog.
Vegeta: Ummm... who and what are you?
Shadow: I am Shadow the Hedgehog. *Striking a battle pose* The Ultimate Life Form!
Vegeta was unimpressed by this.
Vegeta: Ultimate Life Form? A weird looking rat, is an Ultimate Life Form? HAHAHAHA! That's a laugh. Word of advice, freak: you're a little on the short side to try to be threatening.
Shadow responds back with a smart ass remark.
Shadow: Funny, I was going to say the same thing about you.
"Sure you were." Kokichi joshed, sarcastically
"Ohoh burn!" Monokuma & Genocide Jack shouted out
Vegeta: You've just sealed your fate, fool.
"Kehehehe, a battle between two almighty warriors with a power to destroy worlds... I am eager to watch this fight." Gundham cackled
FIGHT!
Shadow launches a kick at Vegeta, but the Saiyan catches the former's feet and kicks him off. Vegeta then charges a blast of purple Ki energy in his hands before blasting it at Shadow.
Vegeta: Galick Gun, FIRE!
After being hit by a strong attack, Shadow's still standing from the blast, already exhausted.
"Oh come on, the battle just started and Shadow's already exhausted?!" Monotaro complained
"Guess Vegeta's power far exceeds his." Celestia replied
"Don't jump to conclusions just yet." Makoto informed
Vegeta: Pathetic. Before you die, let me show you a TRUE Ultimate Life Form!
(Cues: Super Saiyan Vegeta - Dragon Ball Z)
Vegeta powers up immensely, aura surrounding him, and his dark, gravity deifying hair now glowing blonde, becoming the legendary status of Super Saiyan.
"Hell yeah, Super Saiyan's in the house fuckers!" Monokid exclaimed
Vegeta: Hahaha! Tell me, hedgehog, does a lab rat like yourself experience fear?
"Hmph, a bold question to the Ultimate Life-form." The Imposter noted
(Cues: Mephiles' whisper - Sonic the Hedgehog 2006)
Shadow wasn't giving up that easily.
Shadow: You have... no idea... WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH!
Shadow then leaps up in mid-air and surrounds himself with all seven Chaos Emeralds and slowly taps into their power.
Vegeta: What's this?
After he taps into the power of the seven Emeralds, he turns from a black to a yellow lime colored hedgehog with a bright glow and aura with invincible godlike powers, becoming Super Shadow.
"Ah crap, they're both going at it with their super forms!" Yasuhiro pointed out
"And to see which one gives out first." Tsumugi added
Shadow: Behold the true power I possess!
Vegeta had one comment to said about Super Shadow...
Vegeta: Wow... what a ripoff...
"Haha, that's what I said!" Yasuhiro cackled
Shadow instantly tackled Vegeta.
Vegeta: GAH!
Nearly everyone is tensed up and excited as the fight continues.
(Cues: Boss: Heavy Dog - Shadow the Hedgehog)
Vegeta gets attacked by Shadow and was forced to block some relentless kicks before they vanished and before blurring into clashes. Afterwards, Shadow teleported and kicked Vegeta away before side kicking him, leaving seven purplish orbs behind, and when he snaps his fingers, Vegeta became a Saiyan pinball before crashing to the ground. Shadow then launches a barrage of his Chaos Spear at Vegeta.
"Yeah, now this is what I'm talking about!" Akane exclaimed, making punching motions in the air.
"They're so fast, I didn't even see them. Incredible!" Sonia said
Vegeta jumps up and knees Shadow to the abdomen, kicked him, and then launches a volley of Energy Bullets. But when the smoke clears, Shadow is gone.
Vegeta: Wha-Where did he go?
The screen pans right and Shadow was behind him.
Shadow: Right behind you.
Before Vegeta fires a blast of energy at concentrated accuracy, Shadow snaps his finger as the screen turned white.
"Is he teleporting him to another spot?" Kazuichi asked as Chiaki nodded
"Let's see where that takes him." Nekomaru said
When the screen came back, Vegeta was surrounded by a couple of red and white fishes and a unique blue one indicating to the group that Shadow transported Vegeta into the ocean.
Vegeta: (Speaking in his head) ...The hell? How did I get here?
Shadow was floating over the ocean.
Shadow: Hmph. That was easier than I thought. I guess I'm better than-
Vegeta suddenly flies out of the water angry and his body full of energy.
Vegeta: Graaah!
(Cues: Androids Steal Truck - Dragon Ball Z) (again)
Shadow: SHIT!
"Looks like Vegeta is getting tired of being fucked around." Fuyuhiko considered
Vegeta: Cheap trick, teleporting me underwater, coward! Cut the act and give up already! You're nothing compared to me!
Shadow snaps his finger again, this time teleports Vegeta to the Earth's moon. Also they noticed a duck of some kind and it's wearing a space helmet.
"Yo, what's up with that duck?" Leon wondered
"No clue of where it is from." Kiyotaka responded
Chiaki was observing the duck as she's know it from somewhere.
Vegeta: Goddammit.
Shadow watches from a distance.
Shadow: Hmph.
"His super form is going to wear him off soon, so I don't think it's best to teleport Vegeta to another location." Daisaku noted
"Perhaps, unless he's got some sort of plan that will lead him to victory." Kyosuke replied
Vegeta: Playtime's over, runt!

Vegeta punches the surface of the moon, pushing it closer to Earth which almost everyone's jaw-dropped for seeing Vegeta pulling off the ridiclous feat like that.
Shadow: No! Is he insane!?
"Yes, clearly he's desperate to win, that's for sure." Kazuichi anticipated
"I-I don't think I can watch..." Mikan stuttered, as she and Chihiro looked away
Shadow takes off his inhibitor rings and glows bright red.
Shadow: CHAOS... CONTROL!
He successfully teleports the moon back to its place.
"He... he actually did it!" Mahiru said
"Sheesh, that almost gave me a heart attack." Monokuma replied
Shadow: Yes. I did it!
Vegeta: Congrats, furball.
The girls were shocked to see how Vegeta got back to Earth so fast and a few felt a slight anger for doing something so reckless.
"Seriously Vegeta, never tried to pull a stunt like ever again." Mahiru commanded
Shadow powers up for another attack.
Shadow: It's time to end this!
Shadow then begins to glow bright red, charging Chaos Blast.
Shadow: Chaos... BLAST!
However, Super Shadow wears off just before the attack can finish.
"Oh no." Chihiro said quietly
"Yup, he's screwed." Nagito added
Shadow: Uh-oh.
Vegeta: Sayonara.
Vegeta fires the Final Flash at Shadow, vaporizing the latter, leaving nothing but black smoke in his place.
K.O!
RESULTS
Most of them clapped and cheered because the fight was intense so far in Death Battle!

Boomstick: Oh, somebody call PETA, we're down a hedgehog!
Wiz: With Super Shadow's godly power and invulnerability, the question wasn't if Vegeta could kill Shadow, it was if Vegeta could survive Super Shadow.
Mostly everyone agreed to this statement.
Boomstick: But Vegeta's proven time after time he can take one hell of a beating and lasted long enough for Shadow to turn back to normal, giving Vegeta the opening he needed.
"Precisely, Vegeta has tank blows from super powerful beings like Frieza and Kid Buu in the past." Ryota noted
"Impressive endurance I said." Great Gozu commented
"Enough to outlast Super Shadow before he reverts back to normal." Hajime added
Wiz: His loud mouth certainly helped him in his past, too.
Boomstick: Looks like Shadow's time was up.
Most chuckled at the pun knowing that he was referring to Shadow's super form wearing off.
Wiz: The winner is Vegeta.
"That fight was EXTREME! It was way better than my executions!" Monokuma exclaimed
"Yeah, a lot of us can agree on that." Makoto replied as they watched the next teaser.
Boomstick: Next time on Death Battle!
The audiences saw a familiar chubby Italian red plumber wearing red overalls and a red cap with a letter 'M' on it and blue eyes. The other combatant is another anthromorphic hedgehog, but he is blue and has green eyes. Chiaki's eyes sparkled as she was eager to see those two in action as Kazuo played the next episode.
