Another day in the afternoon after watching 9 more episodes of Death Battle, most of the Ultimate students were all hyped up into seeing more episodes coming later including Masaru, the Ultimate P.E, who was running around the tracks of Hope's Peak improving his running skills. Naturally, he couldn't let himself down, he couldn't let himself stay weak, he must always stay on top and never slack off if he was still the leader of the Warriors of Hope. After all, he has noted himself to never become an adult, one that he considers them 'demons' and that he's always the Hero. Him and the other kids.
I must be faster! Much faster and better! Watching some guys who are better in running than me has gotten me all fired up, especially that rainbow pony! The one Kotoko likes!" Masaru exclaimed
Meanwhile, Nekomaru appeared in the scene and stood by eyeing on the Ultimate P.E running around the tracks, inspecting his running speed and athletic skills.
"Hmph, that's some brilliant athletic speed. As expected from the Ultimate P.E even though he's younger than us, The students of Hope's Peak." Nekomaru commented as Masaru suddenly stopped right in front of him
"Aah! It's one of the brute demons from hell! Back off!" Masaru exclaimed
"Whoa there take it easy, I have no intentions into harming you whatsoever." Nekomaru replied
"Hmph, the gargantuan oldmandon has appeared! Take another step and I shall defeat you with all my might!" Masaru warned
"The way you talk is reminding me of one of my classmates Gundham." Nekoamru noted
"And just what is an old goot like you doing here? I'm doing a private solo run around the tracks and you're ruining this for me." Masaru responded
"It's obvious. I'm observing your running skills to see how far can your speed take you since you're the Ultimate Lil P.E." Nekomaru answered
"You mind your own business understand?! You must've snuck in and stick your nose into someone else's. I have enough, have at you! Ultra Finisher: Mega Slash!" Masaru exclaimed, pulling out a sword and performing his "Ultimate Move".
"Hmph, not bad for a lit' Ultimate, but you're full of openings!" Nekomaru exclaimed, intercepted his attack and grabbed his arm, tackling him and taking his sword.
"Gahhhh! Hey, you give that back right now! Give... it... back! Only the hero such as myself can wield that sword!" Masaru ordered
"You know what say, kids will be kids. Still though, you should be swinging sticks around when others aren't nearby. With your strength, someone who isn't prepared would take it straight to the face." Nekomaru noted
"E-Even without my weapon, I won't... be...scared... I"ll keep fighting with my bare hands... until the end..." Masaru wept
"Geez, no need to cry about it. You can have it back." Nekomaru replied, handing back the sword
"Huh?" Masaru wondered
"Here, take it. To a kid, you gotta treasure a stick with your life, I know. But you shouldn't swing it around like that. You're strong no doubt, but you need a more proper form." Nekomaru noted as Masaru stood slient for a moment
"Hmph, like I needed to hear some advice from some gargantuan oldmandon. Just returning my sword won't do anything to proceed our friendship. My only friends are the Warriors of hope and them only. Adults can be two-faced liars!" Masaru noted
"Yes, be lively and speak loudly! And always be wary of grownups you've just met! But should you decide to raise your attributes to the next level, you should come see me. You've got a mean swing, kiddo. Don't let it go to waste. With proper training, you'd be a force to be reckoned with!" Nekomaru recomended
Inside of Hope's Peak, Toko was standing out in the hallway minding her own business and thinking what else could she do in the future rather than writing novels. She always have that feeling of stress and anxiety because of the students who have taken a look at her for a moment and when she see them staring at her, she automatically assumes she is but an ugly nerd who would be unlucky enough to find herself a future fiance. She even got jealous for watching two students, who are student council members, are already having their soothing relationship without having any problems whatsoever. Luckily for her, she already found herself a love of her life, one that she would sooner or later get engaged with him one day. In fact, she's always thinking about the Ultimate Affluent Prodigy himself, Byakuya, all the time in a day. Of course, Haiji was a handsome guy too, but she prefers Byakuya more and she only prefers him alone.
"Ohhh Byakuya... my beloved. I don't know what I do without you if I haven't met you." Toko spoke to herself, cloud thinking of a romantic scene of her and beloved Byakuya.
"Toko...?" Byakuya said
"Yes...?" Toko asked
"Your talent is not a fraud or a curse, it's an amazing talent which you must consider it and you must promise me to do all the possibilities that you can within your talent. Do it for me and me only understand?" Byakuya noted
"Yes Master! I promise! Th-Thank you! I won't ever leave you by your side!" Toko responded
"And excuse me Toko... excuse me..." Byakuya said as the thought of the romantic scene when Kirumi was the one speaking to Toko and causing her to snap out of her daydreaming
"Excuse me Toko, do you have a moment?" Kirumi asked
"Wh-What? Oh great, the one time I was having a wonderful touching thought and someone just had to kill the mood. What is it? Are you going to clean me out of existence because I'm so dirty?!" Toko asked and groaned
"Of course not, I would not do such a thing to go over extreme lengths. I simply wanted to ask if you do your laundry. If you are too busy and do not have the time, please let me know, so I can handle for you." Kirumi responded
"A-Are you saying that I smell roundabout way? You want me to take a bath is that it?!" Toko wondered in iteration
"You have been busy writing your novels and yes you must take care of your hygiene and health. You will feel refreshed after you showered. Shall I help you wash your hair?" Kirumi noted and asked
"No! I-It's fine you don't need to do that for me you know, I can do it myself." Toko replied
"I see. If you have any request for me to fufill, please do not hesitate to ask." Kirumi suggested
"Ughhhh... I can't..." Toko said, feeling more miserable now
"What is the matter Toko? Are you not feeling well?" Kirumi asked
"I'm fine! You don't have to bother me around! I never had anyone taken care of me before, so this kind of thing is unsettling!" Toko replied
"Forgive me, I should have known another presence would interrupt you from your writing. While you are busy writing your novels, shall I do your laundry to save you the troubles?" Kirumi apologized and asked
"Like I said, I can do my own laundry! Geez, it is just me or is my smell bothering someone just to get them involve with me?" Toko groaned
"Toko... it is diffcult for me to say this, but..." Kirumi spoke
"Okay, I might be bothering someone, but you and me are in different classes, so you should mind your own business and care about your classmates." Toko swore as she departed her way with Kirumi.
At the classroom, Mondo had it rough going for him, wondering what else can he do to live up to his older brother's expectation as being the leader of the Crazy Diamond gang. He has many promises that he intended to not break no matter what regarding to his older brother's dire words which he must always keep in mind, when a man makes promise, he makes a vow to keep that promise even if it kills him, so there's no way he would give up now until he fulfills the promise.
"Shit... it feels like I'm carrying a heavy burden on my shoulder. The people I've met, making promises to them and making it up, that's a shit ton of responsibilities. Not to mention, being a leader of my gang the Crazy Diamond, I don't even know if I can bear it longer, but I swear to GOD, I will keep fighting until my last breath, so I can show my gang that I'm better than my older bro. To do exactly something that he couldn't do. To surpass him in every way that counts. That's what a real man is, what I'm meant to be!" Mondo asserted
"Good afternoon bro! Today is a good day like always!" Kiyotaka exclaimed
"Hey bro! You're looking all fired up too just like you were in the morning too!" Mondo replied
"Of course! The starting day is the most important part and speaking of the starting day, I saw you barely making in on time bro. Even though we're bros... no we are bros, I cannot simply stand by and let you live on a slacker's live." Kiyotaka noted
"Heh...that's just what I'd expect from you, bro. It's been a while since someone said that to me. Even the teachers are too scared now. Still, I did managed to make it here today on time, so we're all good, right?" Mondo questioned
"I suppose, could you care to explain what happened?" Kiyotaka coaxed
"I slept late last night, didn't get enough sleep." Mondo responded
"Staying up late isn't good for you bro. Was there a reason behind it?" Kiyotaka quizzed
"Yeah, I was having a talk with my right hand guy from the gang. He was a having a rough time and there's no way a boss'd do such a loser thing as not listen to his guys when they wanna talk. It's pretty fucked up, I know." Mondo reasoned
"So that's what happened... Your men must truly look up to you, bro. They would not be there if it weren't for you." Kiyotaka assured
"Damn right, The boss is a boss and he's got some responsibilities to take care of, so no way in hell I would ignore them. It's just like a promise between men. Bro...don't you think so, too?" Mondo noted
"You said it, bro! It's just as you said! Absolutely right! What marvelous dedication! Please keep that sense of responsibility!" Kiyotaka wept of tears
"C'mon now, cut it out. It's not something to cry about. It ain't the end of the world once you become top dog... You gotta carry even bigger burdens because at the end of the day, it's what ya do." Mondo replied
At the dining hall, Nagito and Kokichi were playing a little game and Nagito let out a sigh for losing a match against Kokichi.
"*Sigh* It looks like I give up..." Nagito noted
"Oh? Looks like I win in the end! But you weren't half bad at all, Nagito! Not bad at all." Kokichi replied
"We aren't really competing now are we?" Nagito wondered
"Of course, but why did you give up Nagito?" Kokichi responded and asked
"Sorry... did I said something confusing? Well whatever, to be honest, I got curious about your talent, so I've been digging up some research about it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a single thing or fact regarding to the location of your secret organization." Nagito noted
"Nee-heehee... that's why it's a secret! You're not going to uncover the truth that easily." Kokichi asserted
"Talk about having intel that are classified. As expected from the Ultimate Supreme Leader! Even with my unbelievable luck, I still couldn't learn a single thing from your organization. It's almost like it doesn't existed and I'm not doubting your talent or anything." Nagito noted
"If you're interested, just asked me directly. For you, I'll tell you anything kind of intel that you wanna know." Kokichi tempted
"Thanks, but I think I'll pass on that. I'd be a scum if I dare myself to ask an evil supreme leader to reveal their secrets." Nagito rejected
"Oh, bored already with me? Well that's too bad because my answers would've been the end for you. I was planning to take all of your assets of my payment for answering my questions." Kokichi noted
"Huh? Was I supposed to pay you money? If that's what you wanted then you should've asked." Nagito responded
"Maybe... but there are other forms of payment aside from money. You do still want to know my secrets?" Kokichi noted
"Hmm... If I'm able to pay the price you set, then I'll gladly do so but there is something that is mystic and I can't help but shake the feelings. Are you going to lie about it after I pay you or you'll raise the price even higher after I make an offer." Nagito anticipated
"Ding-ding-ding! You are absolutely right! Man, you know me so well Nagito!" Kokichi exclaimed
"Yeah, I figured being the embodiment of a liar clearly defines you and you don't want to talk much about yourself." Nagito replied
At the night of the neighboring streets, Izuru Kamakura was walking down on the road, desolating himself from others and looking up to the sky. He needed some space to himself, thinking about himself and finding a new purpose for himself, one that can lead him down to a new path he has never thought of before.
"The world has changed. The whole universe has changed. Everything in this world has been rehabilitated. The society, the tragedy event, all of it being collapsed after plunging it into despair, it's now undone. What matters now is to do something about myself. Taking the extra step is difficult than I expected. Becoming the symbol of hope in my hands takes a heavy burden. If I don't find my answers then being emptiness inside would be boring to me." Izuru remarked
"Whoa there hairy! Why the long face? You should jump out of a window when you feel unusual. That'll work out for you." Genocide Jack suggested, making her appearance while Izuru stood silent, not responding to her suggestion
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! What's with the hairstyle?! You look like the ghost girl who crawl out of the TV! Such long luscious looks, but you are a boy! Not gonna lie, it's gotten me fired up a bit." Toko exclaimed
"You're very energetic in a middle of the night. Were you up writing a novel?" Izuru said and asked
"Oh, so you know Miss Morose? Maybe you're not suspicious, but just another schoolmate. We're now separated and I have my own body and I feel SOOO enthusiastic that I can't help but show the whole world my scissoring style, even to prove better than that ugly four-eyes slug-of-a-bitch! So yeah, this is the first time you met me!" Genocide Jack noted
"Hmm... a murderous fiend I see. I grew aware of you, but..." Izuru replied
"Oh, did you think I'm some boring and wackass fiend just to be cliche?! That's what crossed your mind right?!" Genocide Jack wondered as Izuru remained silent, not responding to her question
"Well, whether or not being a murderous fiend is cliche, I in fact DO exist, y'know?!" My existence may be unnatural, but you can't deny the fact that I'm standing right in front of you. You can clearly see me with your own eyes!" Genocide Jack noted
"Something that has been born, acknowledged and live life can't be denied its existence." Izuru remarked
"Even so, as long as I keep living, I'll continue to live like this and that's all there to it. That's one of the main significant reasons. Well, that's just what my murderous fiend's intuition is telling me anyway. You get it right? Do you comprehend the feeling a bit or it can be some kind of sympathy from a murderous fiend? How fucking hilarious! Kyeehahahahaha! " Genocide Jack exclaimed
"I find this conversation to be worthless..." Izuru responded
"I know right?! Ahh, the worthlessness... never fails to crack me up." Genocide Jack agreed
THEATER ROOM
It was the next day of Hope's Peak and all of the Ultimate students, the teachers, the members from the student council and the ones from the Future Foundation even Monokuma and the rest of the bear gang were all gathered in the theater room and has taken their seats to continue watching DEATH BATTLE.
"Let's us continue where we left off in the show." Kazuo announced, pressing the play button without hesitation
And that's it for the second interlude chapter. I have to keep my options opened and think big for ideas that fits well with the story.
Until next time,
Peace!
Next Chapter: Eggman VS Wily
