A/N: Here is the third interlude chapter of the book in accordance to my schedule I have for me during the upcoming week. Sorry that I took awhile. Doing interlude chapters takes me twice longer than doing everyone's reactions to watching each and every episodes of Death Battle. I'm writing down my note so that everyone understands and noted that I am not dead or anything like that. I was sick for the last three weeks, but then I got better and back in writing.

With all that being said, enjoy the chapter!

Disclaimer: I don't own either of the series! They belong respectfully to their owners and companies.

Danganronpa is owned by Kazutaka Kodaka and Spike Chunsoft

DEATH BATTLE is owned by Rooster Teeth

After watching the season 1 finale of Goku VS Superman, all of the Ultimates including the teachers, the Warriors of Hope and the rest were on their own separate ways wandering around Hope's Peak, the beach and the Gifted Juveniles Academy setting their intentions on doing whatever they are pleased to do. Some of the Ultimates even Monokuma were hyped for season 2 because knowing the next season coming up next, the way things goes for Death Battle is slowly progressing to the point of having more 3D animation and establishing more research onto each individual's history is becoming more and more accurate. Becoming attached to the show, some of them thought up their own idea match-ups and what they wanted to see on the show, but it requires some connections, specifically two or more combatants must share what they have in common. But then again, the Death Battle show goes to their rightfully owners and company, so it depends on what they decide and plan them ahead of time. Keeping that all in mind, they'll never know what's gonna hit them on the show.

In the hallway of Hope's Peak, Ryoma was standing up against the wall minding his own business eating some candy. From the looks of the candy, it may look as though he's smoking some cigarette which most people can anticipated right away, but it's not actually cigarette at all. It is a small grey stick of a lollipop and Ryoma is only a teenager and still attended to the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. Aside from that, Ryoma was pondering about himself thinking what kind of student is he is now since he was never the same person as he once was.

"Ryoma Hoshi... the one guy who was titled the "Ultimate Tennis Pro" no longer exist. When I was him, I was winning many international games and other players look up to me for being the world's famous tennis pro, but not anymore. All of those moments the time I've spend throughout my career was nostalgic, making history, until my life took a darker turn for me. My family massacred, my love of life was killed, and the cat I grow attached to when I was a kid I gave it away after I got arrested, it's my luck that dragging me down to break me emotionally. I'm just nothing more but an empty shell. However, the fact is I'm still here in this school alive and well, which means I have still my reasons to keep living. I just need to continue finding the one thing in the world, something that matters to me the most. As someone once said if I keep setting on one foot in front of the other, then it stands to reason to that I'm getting there." Ryoma explained to himself until the Ultimate student came by to have a chat with him.

"Out of all the guys, I'll say you do I guess..." Leon remarked

"Well that's a rude way to come up to somebody and start a conversation like that, what do you want?" Ryoma asked in annoyance

"My bad, I didn't mean to come off to you that way, but there's an upcoming mixer on this weekend, so I was wondering if maybe you're free to do whatever and down to go. I went ahead and ask a couple of my classmates guys and some who are in different classes, but all of them have to pass because of the Academy tests they have to study for, and since you don't have anything plans right now, I figure you might be wanting to hit it right?" Leon explained and asked

"Hmph, you sure do mess around with some people, don't you?" Ryoma questioned

"Yeah, most of the time. That's basically who I am. I don't see what the problem is. In Hope's Peak Academy, tests are the worst things we gotta worry about because some of us aren't quite fed up with the exams. And since I never got to practice for baseball, so I've got a load of free time to spend time with my bros and relax." Leon remarked

"The fact that you're talented doesn't matter. If you don't polish your skills, then your skills will rot away in time. You'll lose what you have and that's the sad part of your side. You haven't gone practice or play baseball at all haven't you?" Ryoma informed and asked

"Nah man, I never go to practice cuz it's a pain in the ass. It's just not worth my time nowadays. Also, this place that I'm hanging around doesn't even have a team. I gotta look for my own team someplace else. Besides, why is it you're lecturing me out of my talent when you haven't done any tennis at all? I just hear it enough from people who's lecturing about it especially the teachers. I didn't expect to hear it coming from you, too." Leon responded

"You're right. I was being a little persuasive with you there for a moment. Guess I was wrong about you. Right now, I... I'm no different than the nosy people who believe I care about playing tennis still. Looks like I've still got ways to go, so please forget what I just said." Ryoma restated

"It's all good man! Plus, you sounded like you were motivated! You forget about playing tennis and I forget about playing baseball. Both of which are a real pain in the ass!" Leon exclaimed

"Is that how you really feel...? Not having to worry about your talent as baseball is not worth something to you?" Ryoma wondered

"Huh? Of course it is. I'm sick of being forced to shave my head for games. I like how my hairstyle looks and that's all there is." Leon replied

"Is that your only reason for not playing? If you go pro, there are teams that would let you have whatever hairstyle you wanted." Ryoma noted

"Huh? Pro? Break a leg into baseball into going pro, what's up with that?" Leon asked

"You've got that option during baseball, don't you? Fortunately for me, I don't have that in tennis, so I should be lucky." Ryoma snickered

"That's rich talk coming from you! I'm also sick of being covered in sweat and dirt after playing baseball! You're lecturing me after all! It's none of your business, you busybody so you can cut the crap alright?!" Leon remarked

"Oh, I'm not just a busybody, I'm starting to annoy you now since you got a little smart with me for a moment. I just realized that we can't talk each other as we're both equal in every way, but you on the other are not cool at all." Ryoma noted

"What the hell dude?! You're now giving me the bullshit into saying that you're in a different league than me?! You know what, I take back of what I said to you the first time, I'm uninviting you to the mixer you jerk! Don't even bother looking for me then if you know what's good for you!" Leon scolded as he and Ryoma both glared at each other and parted ways to set their intentions somewhere else.

At the cafeteria, Yasuhiro Hagakure, the Ultimate Clairvoyant, was frustrated to himself right now as he was in a tight situation where things are not going the way he planned. His number one priority was to make fortune by offering his salvation via fortune-telling since that was the only option he had in his mind to make money and he thought about the other students from different classes who may just be the types of students who are willing to pay off.

"Man this sucks, It's just like what they said Lady Luck must be on my side today, but it's the exact opposite. How am I supposed to meet my quotas if my pocket is empty? I gotta start somewhere if I'm going to make sales. But Makoto rejected my idea and said I should try some other way to make money but like what? Start a bake sale and sell some bakery stuff from the oven that's Teruteru thing. Do a music or a song by playing an instrument so people can listen and bribe me first of all I'm not a musician so I don't have the skills to play an instrument unlike Ibuki and Kaede plus I don't the guts for being surrounded by some dudes watching me. Gamble to win some prizes, no way I'm more likely to lose and Celeste is more on going to win every game and I can't even compete with her level. I'll just have to stick with my own choice since I've got no other options left for me." Yasuhiro confided as the choices to him were any port in the storm via does not benefit him in his case.

"Let me think... Kazuichi, Tsumugi, Mikan and Ryoma probably. Four of them might be up for it." Yasuhiro speculated

"AH-HA! I knew my scent of smell wouldn't fool me. My heart was beating rapidly from the evil I feel from an degenerate male and I never knew I can feel it a mile away until now!" Tenko confirmed

"Ahhh! Tenko!? What brings you here giving me a death stare?!" Yasuhiro wondered

"Isn't it obvious!? I came here to this school hunting down males that are degenerate to the point of being evil down to their very soul. My duty of being a hero of justice will not rest until every single degenerate has been vanished from this world so the girls can live peacefully once again. I don't care how long it will take me to complete my task. A hero of justice like me will defeat your menacing kind and I won't let up until the very end." Tenko explained and threatened

"Hero of justice?! Aren't you being too melodramatic or something cause the way you're acting is something a little kid has a grudge against guys and think they're the bad guys because you find their influences to be suspicious and the fact is you getting that idea from comic books?" Yasuhiro questioned

"What is this nonsense I'm hearing?! I swear at the end of the day degenerates don't appreciate heroes of justice or they were born from women. Not at all. They think that being a bad boy or evil is what they consider most awesome without a hint of irony! They're so full of themselves I can't even stand them one bit. I'll never offer them any forgiveness, pity, sympathy or compassion." Tenko huffed

"Hey, I'm just telling you the truth alright. What I'm doing is not a crime, it's business. Business of which I have a super charm and I'm selling to those who are wanting to pay and if I don't make any sales, I'm gonna be toasted by the end of the month." Yasuhiro explained

"Nonsense! You think your confession is going to convince me, so I can let you free?! Somewhere along in your words tells me you're the definition of suspicious! You're gonna sin more even when your whole existence is a sin! Let me ask you this Hiro... do you have a mother, a sister, a grandmother, or a daughter?" Until the hero of justice arrives, you must appreciate all the great girls in your life! They're not something you should just stab in the back because they don't deserve any betrayal especially their love ones which goes for the degenerate males to be precise." Tenko demanded

"First of all, it's way too soon for me to have a kid daughter of my own, second I'm not even engaged to a girl yet but I do in fact have a mom and I appreciate having her in my life, so you're coming at me with nothing but hate in your eyes and I haven't done anything to girls, so gimme a break!" Yasuhiro explained

Outside the academy of Gifted Juveniles, Gonta was on a hunt searching for any bugs that were crawling or flying around in the area since he's very protective of all of them and vows to keep them under his wings at all costs. He was more eager to find new bugs that he has not discover yet because his passion for his talent and the bonds he forged with the bugs he's captured is undeniably unbroken.

"Hmm... there no bugs here. Gonta sure there be bugs hiding somewhere outside of Gifted Juvenile Academy. Gonta also check around area at Hope's Peak Academy and beach of Jabberwock Island, but still no bugs. Maybe some bugs are scared of Gonta because he big and scary or there new bugs and they harder to find here than woods. Could probably be either of two. Gonta thought long and hard about this, but if friend of Gonta told Gonta something, that mean he should never give up following his dream because Gonta is Ultimate Entomologist and talent benefit Gonta. Not only that, Gonta also want to be a true gentlemen as well and he befriends all friends that he interacts with and protect them. If Gonta follows all those steps then that what it mean to be a true gentlemen and Gonta is happy to hear it from his friend to give him motivation." Gonta noted as he notice Kokichi is walking off aimlessly on his own.

"I don't know what to think for myself. I've did some terrible things in the past especially when I was force to participate in a killing game with some other contestants... not so long ago." Kokichi sighed

"Kokichi what wrong? You not looking so well." Gonta asked comforting him

"Hey Gonta you look like you're in the good mood almost always, usually when you're on the hunt for bugs or doing some activity in your free time. Me, I feel ashamed to myself for just thinking about my mistakes that I did in the past." Kokichi replied

"Oh, like what?" Gonta wondered

"Oh you know, the crimes I have committed along with my fellow old D.I.C.E gang, like theft, felony, murder, pretty much typical criminal stuff. The things that I've did in the past was nothing more but a laughable crime as in it's a crime and we find it to be funny to be the worst of the worst and doing whatever we please when something crosses our mind. But most importantly, after I got caught in the space colony ARK with you and the rest of our classmates and play the killing game, I started to enjoy myself and play along with Monokuma's diabolical-suspicion-killing game because to me, killing games are the best entertainment for some contestants who are filled with the negativity of being cruel, sadistic, petty, and so on... or that's what you expected at least. To tell you the truth, I honestly HATED the killing game. The part that being forced into a show and not having a choice either way is the last thing I ever wanted. The creators behind it were the ones responsible for capturing us and the audience that are watching us just want to toy with us our lives like if we're disposable people that are meant to be slaughtered and deserve to be drown into despair for entertainment. What Shuichi said about me is being a complicated one. I'm a person for someone who could not understand anything from me until the very end." Kokichi explained

"Gonta understand. Killing game that entertainment game is cruel and gone too far. Audience and hosts should be ashamed themselves to think nothing wrong with killing game." Gonta noted

"After all of that, after the tragic events we had to come to face to face and survive, I ended up breaking you and everyone's trust piece by piece. All the times I've lied, stealing, insulting, assaulting, and more importantly using you as my pawn to carry out my bidding and called your death meaningless. That's the line I literally crossed and I don't believe that I deserve any forgiveness from you or anyone else from our class." Kokichi coaxed

"But Kokichi, Gonta not think you should apologize." Gonta replied

"What?" Kokichi wondered in confusion

"Because Gonta believes anyone change for better. Gonta not care about you making past mistakes and breaking friends' trust because we got stuck in killing game and that why you did it. You want to end killing game to protect everyone right even if it cost your life?" Gonta pondered

"If you're saying it that way then yes. I guess even I have a softer side to my friends and I'm not trying to spew out more lies or anything. This is me being a normal person who was going outta of his way to plan in a long run, let alone uncover the mastermind and alas be freed from the killing game." Kokichi replied

"Gonta knew from beginning when Gonta met you first time and way you behave, Gonta saw you had heart for friends. Besides, Gonta remember committing crime before, so Gonta must face consequences for taking friend's life. That way, you and Gonta can face consequences together. No matter what, Gonta will always be at your side Kokichi." Gonta noted

"Neheehee! I always expected it from you Gonta. You and your goodie-two shoes persona. Couldn't have ask for a better friend, who is noble at heart. Me and you are forever in each other's debt. As a student here in this wholesome academy, I'll make up for the others I've made an impact ever since the tragedy we face once but not anymore. This is my gratitude that I'm repaying." Kokichi suggested with a grin on his face

"Glad to hear it Kokichi. Gonta will also do same thing for everyone. For salvation we right to own." Gonta replied happily as the two departed their ways

Around the time of 7:30 pm, Chiaki was in a classroom with a group of other students from her class and other individual classes who joined in the group chat. She wanted to set up a game night by inviting a couple of her friends and play together instead of playing video games solo since she did felt a sense of loneliness with no one to interact with and figure inviting people to in a group is the way of making friends and forming a bond with each other. If it wasn't for her home room teacher Yukizome giving her the encouragement, the hope to step up and reach to others, then she probably wouldn't even become a center student among her classmates. After all, The only friend she had ever made and interacted with was Hajime during the time she apply for Hope's Peak as a human being.

"Are you guys ready?" Chiaki asking the players

"Hajime?"

"Yeah." Hajime replied

"Nagito?"

"Sure." Nagito responded

"Makoto?"

"I'm game." Makoto responded

"Celeste?"

"Yes." Celestia responded

"Kazuichi?"

"It's on!" Kazuichi responded

"Kaito?"

"Bring it!" Kaito exclaimed

"Gundham?"

"Let the game begin." Gundham replied

"Komaru?"

"Yep." Komaru replied

"It's time for a game of UNO card." Chiaki rejoiced as Celestia was setting up the stack of cards shuffling them and passing the cards to the other players until they each have six cards on their hand.

"I've hardly play any board games via card, but this game will do." Kazuichi noted

"I appreciate your concern of invite, since I'm curious of how well would I fare against two students who are gifted of luck in a little card game nonetheless." Celestia reasoned

"I think it might depend on who has the better luck of pulling ahead in a card game since this is a game define by a simple but fitting word 'gamble'." Nagito speculated

"As far as gambling goes, the chances can go in anyone's favor should they have their luck be on their side as they planned. It's very skeptical of course when the odds are against them." Makoto replied

"You make a valid point there. But as for this kind of card game, this isn't Poker, Goldfish or a matching game where you have to pick a card and find the other pair. Rather it's a complex kind of game called UNO." Hajime coaxed

"Here's how it goes, the players must have six cards on their hands each cards having different colors of four along with the effects that some cards hold and the player must use up all of their cards to win the game. The only catch is if they're down to their last card then they have to said the word UNO and if they don't say it via ignore the word then they must take four cards for either of the two methods. There's gonna be a card on the middle and we must place the card there whether the card we place down shares the same color, the number or the effect. If the player doesn't have the card to match the card on the deck then they must pull out a new card from the stack and again until they got the right one." Chiaki explained

"I see, sounds interesting to me enough. It's unlike the other card games I've played before." Celestia noted as she was new to this type of card game

"A game mix together with some elements that makes it more enjoyable and frustrating too at the same time." Hajime replied

"Isn't this game worth something? The stakes are in anyone's call of win if they could pull it off either way." Kazuichi added

"I'll say, I'm not gonna let this chance slide and walk away like I don't have the guts to give or take. I'm Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars I'm going to take this chance and win it all." Kaito reasoned

"Well, I wish the best of luck of all of you of giving yourself a shot. You're going to need it. Just don't screw yourself when you're picking your card. Strategy is the important key after all." Nagito noted

"Kehehehe! Wise words from a student gifted with luck. When this is all set and done, this game will declare me as the champion of board." Gundham noted

"I'm already feeling nervous about this game, since the odds can possibly be against me at some point and I'll be the one getting stump." Komaru anticipated

"Trust me Komaru, this is shedding family of card game that makes it conceivable and who knows who has the upper hand. When you play a game, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. You may or may not have the advantage in your youth." Makoto added as Chiaki starts off by placing a green seven card on the card deck. Hajime was next and places a number three card down then comes Gundham placing down the number five card. The game was now starting to intensified as Celestia placing down a yellow five card.

"Already kicking things off with the change of cards huh? Sorry Kazuichi, but I'm skipping you over with the skip card." Kaito rejoiced as he place a yellow skip card on the deck.

"Hey no fair! We only just began playing and I didn't even get my chance to throw a card yet thanks to you." Kazuichi complained, frustrated by Kaito using the skip card.

"Can't help but feel sorry for you Kazuichi. Some people just intend to do this hard way for other players and the easy way for them is to playing the card that is wild." Nagito replied as he place down a draw two yellow card as Makoto draws out two cards from the stack.

"In my personal opinion, every player is keeping themselves steady following their instincts and think clearly. That is the most sufficient way to win UNO in a safest way." Makoto noted as he place down a yellow eight card and then Komaru place down a yellow Reverse card.

"Reverse card?! Now the turn is going clockwise meaning it's Makoto turn again!" Kazuichi exclaimed

"It's part of the game Kazuichi, I told you this game can be frustrating when you're playing a special action card." Hajime addressed as Makoto place down a yellow two card

"I hate to break it to you, but you have to draw four cards cuz I'm playing this card." Nagito said as he place down a Wild Draw 4 card directly for Kazuichi.

"What the hell man? First I got my turn skip and now you're playing a card of which I have to draw four more cards from the stack?! Alright then, I'mma show you like it when I give you guys a taste of your medicine starting with you Kaito!" Kazuichi exclaimed as he play a yellow skip card on the deck.

"Oh I see what you're doing, you got pissed off because two players rub you off the rough way including me and Nagito and now you want payback. You want to play hard to get? Fine! There's no rule saying that you have to go outta your way and take home the gold by using the cards that pleases you the most." Kaito exclaimed as Nagito laugh for watching the two butting heads with each other in a card game.

"It appears the battle between the two card masters are making this more intensified than we can anticipated." Gundham noted

"Precisely, it's only natural that the two are throwing in fire with fire which only makes the game more interesting by the second." Celestia added

"The longer the game goes on, the more pressure I feel because they are some players who are going at each other for throwing in a cheap action move. Kaito and Kazuichi being the example." Komaru clarified as Celestia place down a yellow four card, Gundham follow up next placing down a yellow six card, Hajime throwing down a blue six card and Chiaki using a Reverse blue card making the game clockwise once again.

"I guess some action cards do have its perks. The reverse card is to make the turn the other way around and the Wild 4 card is picking up the color and the next player drawing four cards from the stack." Kazuichi noted

THEATER ROOM

The next day has passed and everyone taken their seat in the theater room with most audiences having snacks and drinks on their hands. Most couldn't help but feel thrilled that they're finally moving on to the second season and the production and the research of the show goes is only going to get better and more accurate as time passes on.

"Season two baby! Let's get it on!" Monokid exclaimed

"A whole new season with some whole new kickass matches we're bound to see!" Akane exclaimed

"I felt like it's been awhile but we're finally here again to sit back and watch." Kokichi stated as Kazuo play the next episode via starting the second season.

And that's about it settles for the third interlude, I apologize for the delay, but I'm back in it. My third might be shorter compared to the last other two because I was rushing to get this chapter done and I got so frustrated at myself for not uploading for almost three freaking months and I felt ashamed to keep you guys waiting for that long, so I had to improvise ASAP. As I work in progress on the future chapters, I'm also focusing on myself. There are about eighty-six characters to focus on here and to focus giving their reaction monologue towards the show and to make sure their dialogue fits with their character. I need to construct my knowledge and make sure that I'm on the right track while writing their reactions towards the show. If anyone can do it and set their mind onto something then so can I.

Aside from all of that, I also made the UNO scenery show knowing how long the game can go since there were eight players in a group game and it can take twice as long as I have to continue it a little longer if I wanted to. I probably will go back and add a bit more dialogue for Celestia and the two Ultimate Lucky Students demonstrating their skills in the presence of the other five students. Thank you guys so much for your patience. Leave your thoughts down below about the chapter and I'll see you next chapter.

Next Chapter: He-Man VS Lion-O
