Chapter 19: Adventure in Mobius
In the pirate ship, Gideon and Azula are talking to Morgan, Silver Knight, Bete Noire, Cauchemar, Kay, and Belial.
"Arthur and Sora continue to save world after world and ruinin' what we're workin' hard to achieve." Gideon said.
"This is getting annoying. No matter what's thrown at them, they keep on fighting and winning." Silver Knight said.
"I think those idiots need a lesson in reality." Bete Noire said.
"A GOOD lesson in torment!" Cauchemar said.
"As much as I'd LOVE to torment them, we're not exactly allowed to kill them." Azula said.
"Oh, we don't HAFTA kill 'em. They need a nice reality check that they're on the losin' side of things." Gideon said, smirking evilly.
"For once, I agree with the cockroach!" Kay said.
"I'm in the mood for some fun!" Cauchemar said.
"Same here! I'm bored being in this ship anyway." Bete Noire said.
"Count me and Knight in! It's not enough to torment them alone, though." Morgan said.
"Oh, yer right on that, Morgan! I got somethin' MUCH better in mind! They say a hero's weakness is someone, who matters the most! We're gonna make Arthur and Sora suffer badly! Make 'em realize their attempts are futile and foolish! We make 'em wish they were dead!" Gideon said.
"That's perfect!" Azula said, smirking evilly.
"Then when that's done, we grant them that wish! The best thing to do is that we go for where it hurts the most!" Morgan said.
"The heart! We ATTACK their hearts!" Gideon said, smiling evilly.
"Hehehe! Perfect!" Kay said.
"We'll strike where they're going to next!" Bete Noire said.
"We set up a good trap!" Azula said.
"And once they take the bait, CHOMP!" Kay said.
"A very fun plan! I look forward to making them squirm!" Belial said.
"Then it's settled! Lemme go git some other people first! They'll be PERFECT for the roles!" Gideon said, disappearing in darkness.
"Meanwhile, we get ready." Morgan said, as they leave.
Meanwhile, Arthur, Sora, Eilonwy, Calla, T.J., Donald, Goofy, Max, P.J., Robin, and Tod leave Halloween Town and return to the Gummi ship while reverting back to their normal forms and continue their journey.
"I can see there's a new world next to Halloween Town." Arthur said.
"Maybe we should go there next." Eilonwy said.
"Good idea. Let's go." Sora said.
The Gummi ship begins flying through space while fighting off Heartless ships and dodging space obstacles and after a few minutes of flying, they arrive at the next world with a beach, plain of flowers, and a metallic fortress at the bottom.
"This world's new. What's this?" Sora asked.
"Fellas, this is Mobius. It's a world where animals live in peace." Chip said.
"Gawrsh, we should check that world out." Goofy said.
"Might as well." Calla said.
"Let's just be ready for anything." Arthur said.
"Prepare for landing!" Tod said, as they disembark.
In a grassy plain, something is running at great speed through the plain while passing flowers and it's a blue hedgehog with green eyes and wearing white gloves and red shoes with white straps, but as the blue hedgehog is running through the plain, something is flying to the hedgehog and it's a purple plane and piloting the plane is a yellow-furred fox with two tails, blue eyes, and wearing white gloves and red and white shoes.
"Sonic! Over here!" The fox called, flying beside the hedgehog named Sonic.
"Yo, Tails! Long time, no see!" Sonic said, still running.
"Sonic, I have something for you!" Tails said, handing Sonic what looks like a letter and Sonic takes it.
"Bwahahahahaha! Guess what, Sonic, I'm creating a perfect weapon and very soon, I'll finally conquer the world! Let's see if you can stop me this time! Bwahahahahaha!" The message said, revealing to be a human man with a brown mustache, pink nose, wearing blue glasses, a red coat, black trousers, and white gloves.
"Hmph, sounds like another invitation to Eggman's party!" Sonic said.
"What're we gonna do, Sonic?" Tails asked.
"Not like I'm gonna miss this! Let's go find Eggman and crack him wide open!" Sonic said, dashing off.
"Wait for me!" Tails said, getting off his plane and runs after him.
(World of Mobius)
In what looks like a beach with blue waters, palm trees, dolphin-like statues, and rocky structures, Arthur, Sora, Eilonwy, Calla, T.J., Donald, Goofy, Max, P.J., Robin, and Tod begin walking through the beach.
"Gawrsh, this place looks nice and peaceful." Goofy said.
"Don't let your guard down, Goofy." Calla said.
"Cal's right. There could be Black Xetis and Heartless appearing at any time." Arthur said.
"Let's just try to..." Eilonwy was cut off, as many Heartless that look like robots appear, as well as Imp Black Xetis and they surround the party.
"And there it is." P.J. said, taking out his hammer.
"Ya know what to do!" Sora said, taking out his Keyblade.
"Let's take 'em out!" T.J. said, taking out his daggers.
(Battle Theme: Open Your Heart-Instrumental)
The Robot Heartless fire laser beams from their blasters while the Imp Black Xetis leap around while attacking with their tails, but Arthur triple slashes with Excalibur followed by Blaze Slash and then casts Quakra while Sora triple vertical slashes with Kingdom Key and then casts Blizzara, only for the Imp Black Xetis to retaliate with creating magic shots and sends them to attack while the Robot Heartless throw bombs. Donald casts Fira followed by casting Water while Tod triple strikes with his stick followed by Tail Strike, but the Imp Black Xetis deliver slashes with their claws while the Robot Heartless fly around while firing more laser beams from their blasters to damage the party, only for T.J. to use Trick Slash and teleports while slashing with his daggers. The Robot Heartless throw more bombs while the Imp Black Xetis deliver more leaping strikes with their claws, only for Max to use Parry and counterattacks with horizontal slashes with his sword followed by Cymbal Dance and delivers a shield combo strike while Calla casts Briar and unleashes thorned vines. The Imp Black Xetis unleash orbs of magic to attack the party while the Robot Heartless fire more laser beams, only for Goofy to block with his shield and then uses Super Charge while P.J. delivers four heavy swings with his hammer followed by Freezing Flail and swings his flail while dealing icy damage, but the Imp Black Xetis deliver leaping attacks with their claws. Eilonwy casts Attractra to lure enemies to her and then casts Frostra while Robin uses Arrow Barrage and fires many arrows, only for the Robot Heartless to fly around while firing more laser beams while the Imp Black Xetis unleash more magic orbs, but Sora uses Strike Raid while Arthur casts Gale followed by casting Blazra and they defeat the enemies.
"Black Xetis and Heartless here. What a shocker." Robin said.
"We'd better watch our step before more show up." Donald said.
"It's obvious they could be in other parts of this world." T.J. said.
"We gotta find this world's Keyhole before they do." Tod said.
"Yeah. C'mon, let's take a look at what we can find 'round here." Sora said and they nod.
(Field Theme: Adventure in Mobius)
The party begin moving through the beach while looking out for any more Black Xetis and Heartless and as they keep exploring the beach, they arrive at what looks like a ruined palace.
"This place looks ancient." Eilonwy said.
"You said it." Robin said.
"I'm surprised there're no Black Xetis or Heartless 'round here." Goofy said.
"Don't jinx it, Dad." Max said.
"Seriously. The last thing we need are more of them showing up." P.J. said.
"Let's take a look around here." Arthur said.
The party begin moving through the ruined palace to find anything and as they look around, they come across two figures, who are Sonic and Tails surrounded by Azure Serenade Heartless and Werewolf Black Xetis.
"Sonic, what are they?" Tails asked.
"I dunno, but they got some nerve getting in the way!" Sonic said.
"Those two! They're in danger!" Tod said.
"Let's go!" Sora said, as they confront the Black Xetis and Heartless.
"Don't worry. We got this." Calla said.
"Huh? Who're you?" Sonic asked.
"We'll talk later! We gotta deal with them!" Donald said.
"Okay! Tails, let's do this!" Sonic said.
"I'm with ya!" Tails said.
The Azure Serenade Heartless unleash orbs of water to deal damage to the party while the Werewolf Black Xetis deliver slashes with their claws, but Arthur blocks and counterattacks with three diagonal slashes with Excalibur followed by two vertical slashes and then uses Compass Slash while Sora horizontal slashes with Kingdom Key followed by three 360 slashes and then casts Earthra, only for the Werewolf Black Xetis to bite with their fangs. Eilonwy casts Stun to stun the enemies and then unleashes four magic orbs followed by casting Voltra while Donald unleashes seven magic orbs and sends them to attack followed by casting Gravira, but the Azure Serenade Heartless unleash blasts of water while the Werewolf Black Xetis deliver charging attacks with their claws. P.J. counters with two roundhouse swings with his hammer followed by Wind Wand and unleashes whirlwinds, only for the Werewolf Black Xetis to unleash howling attacks while the Azure Serenade Heartless unleash more orbs of water, but T.J. uses Divira and creates four clones of himself and they use Dancing Daggers and deliver a barrage of dagger combos. The Werewolf Black Xetis enter their frenzy mode and deliver rapid slashes with their claws while the Azure Serenade Heartless unleash blasts of water, only for Robin to use Arrow Rain and rains down arrows while Goofy uses Turbo and rides on his shield while striking the enemies. The Azure Serenade Heartless unleash beams of water while the Werewolf Black Xetis deliver more rapid strikes with their claws, but Calla casts Thundara Shot while Max vertical slashes with his sword followed by Blitz Strike, only for the Azure Serenade Heartless to unleash orbs of water. Tod uses Growl to deal stunning damage, but the Werewolf Black Xetis deliver more biting attacks with their fangs while the Azure Serenade Heartless unleash blasts of water, only for Tails to deliver spinning strikes with his two tails while Sonic delivers two homing attacks and they defeat the enemies.
"Heh, now that's what I call having a wild time." Sonic said, punching the air.
"Whatever those things were, they very dangerous." Tails said.
"Those were Black Xetis and Heartless. They're from the darkness in people's hearts." Arthur said.
"Black Xetis and Heartless, huh?" Sonic asked.
"They remind me of the Black Arms..." Tails said.
"By the way, you guys were pretty good! You looked like you knew how to handle 'em." Sonic said.
"Oh, we do." Donald said.
"Let's introduce ourselves. I'm Arthur. These are Sora, Eilonwy, Calla, T.J., Donald, Goofy, Max, P.J., Robin, and Tod." Arthur introduced himself and his friends.
"Name's Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog!" Sonic introduced.
"I'm Miles Prower, but my friends call me Tails. If you don't mind my asking, what're you doing out here?" Tails asked.
"Oh, um, we're trying to find the Keyhole and a piece of the Light Crystal." Max said.
"Keyhole? Why're you trying to something like that and what's a Light Crystal?" Sonic asked.
"That almost sounds like a Chaos Emerald." Tails said.
"Um, let's just say we have to find the Keyhole because it's vital for keeping Mobius safe from destruction." P.J. said.
"Hold up. So, if ya don't find this 'Keyhole', then Mobius is done? Just like that?" Sonic asked.
"Pretty much. Only I can lock it." Sora said, showing his Keyblade.
"Sonic, what if Eggman is trying to find this Keyhole?" Tails asked.
"That'd sound just like him." Sonic said.
"But what're you guys doing out here?" T.J. asked.
"We're gonna go and stop Eggman. He said he's making some new weapon to take over the world." Sonic said.
"Do ya think this Eggman feller's usin' the Black Xetis and Heartless?" Goofy asked.
"Wouldn't surprise me." Calla said.
"Hey, how 'bout we join forces and stop the Black Xetis, Heartless, and this Eggman together?" Arthur asked.
"Ya know what, that sounds good to me. Tails?" Sonic asked.
"That's a good idea! That way, we'd be saving the world together!" Tails said.
"Great! Let's team up!" Sora said, offering his hand.
"Gladly!" Sonic said, taking the Keybearer's hand.
"So, our first order of business is to find this Eggman." Eilonwy said.
"Let's get going." Tod said and they nod.
The party begin moving through the palace ruins while fighting off more Black Xetis and Heartless in their way and come across a chamber with water, so the part swim across the water to get to the other side and arrive at a hallway, only to see a giant rock rolling after them, so they run to avoid the rolling rock and kater reach the exit of the palace ruins and return outside. The party begin to move across the beach and come across what looks like a pier, where they confront more Black Xetis and Heartless, but Arthur and Sora defeat them and keep moving through the pier, but as they walk across a boardwalk, they see what looks like a killer whal chasing after them while destroying the boardwalk, but the party manage to get away from the killer whale and they later arrive at the next part of the beach.
On what looks like a shoreline with many rock structures surrounding the shoreline, the same man is talking to Gideon.
"I must admit, boy, these Black Xetis and Heartless you've provided me are much more easy to use than my useless robots! I don't know why I didn't think of using them sooner!" Eggman said.
"Just remember not to underestimate or overestimate the power of darkness! It'll cost ya yer heart! That's how the others failed!" Gideon said.
"Oh, believe me, I'm well aware. Besides, with Sonic being involved, I'll finally rid myself of that annoying hedgehog once and for all!" Eggman said, laughing evilly.
"Is that right, Eggman?" A voice asked, as Sonic arrives.
"Well, well, speak of the blue devil! I was wondering when you'd come here." Eggman said, as the party arrive.
"So, that's Dr. Eggman?" Goofy asked.
"It's him, alright!" Tails said.
"And Gideon's here too!" T.J. said.
"Oooh, good luck! The mouth-droolers I warned ya about!" Gideon said.
"Ah, yes, the wielders of the Keyblade and Excalibur! I've waited to test them!" Eggman said.
"I'll leave ya to yer fun, Doctor! I've got plans." Gideon said, disappearing in darkness.
"I got your invitation, Egghead! So, when's your party?" Sonic asked.
"I'm afraid you're too early, Sonic. I still need time to prepare. In the meantime, why don't you and your new friends have fun with my lastest creation?" Eggman asked, as what looks like a giant red and grey robot that appears to be a giant squid with ten metallic tentacles, yellow eyes, and a cannon on its head appears from the water.
"That's one big robot!" Tails said.
"Heh, no matter what new toy ya throw at me, I'll take it on!" Sonic said.
"Guys!" Arthur said.
"Get ready!" P.J. said.
The giant robot known as Egg Squid goes underwater and uses its metallic tentacles to strike at the party, who avoid the tentacles, as they stay on the rocky structures, allowing Arthur to deliver four aerial slashes at the tentacles with Excalibur followed by two aerial roundhouse slashes and then casts Blazra while Sora vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casts Gravira, but Egg Squid rises back from the water and starts firing cannonballs from its cannon. The party avoid the cannoballs, as Donald casts Thundara followed by casting Earthra while Sonic creates a blue whirlwind to strike, only for Egg Squid to use its tentacles to try and crush the party, who dodge, but the gaint robot fires more cannonballs, but Max uses Shield Boomerang and throws his shield. Egg Squid uses its tentacles to fire laser beams while using its other tentacles to slam on the rocky structures to try and crush the party, only for Eilonwy to cast Hydro for protection and then unleashes magic blades followed by casting Frostra while Tod uses Quick Attack and dashes around, but Egg Squid fires more cannonballs. Goofy blocks the cannonballs with his shield and then uses Discus and throws his shield, only for Egg Squid to use its tentacles to fire more laser beams while using its other tentacles to try and crush the party, but Robin fires four arrows followed by firing five more arrows and then uses Arrow Bombs. Egg Squid goes underwater again while using its tentacles to slam onto the party, who dodge, but the tentacles fire more laser beams, but Calla unleashes magic music notes at the tentacles followed by casting Whirlwinds while P.J. uses Shock Sickle and attacks with his sickle while dealing lightning damage, making Egg Squid rise back up and fires more cannonballs. The party dodge the cannonballs, only for Egg Squid to use its tentacles to attack the party, but Tails uses Flying Kick, only for Egg Squid to fire more cannonballs followed by using its tentacles to crush the party, but T.J. uses Dagger-Nado.
Egg Squid unleashes what looks like black smoke to try and blind the party, who try to avoid the black smoke, but Egg Squid transforms its tentacles into blades and uses them to deal slashing attacks to the party, only for Tails to throw ring bombs while Sonic uses Spin Dash and strikes, but Egg Squid goes underwater again while using its tentacles to fire laser beams and then tries to deal more slashing strikes with its tentacles. Tod uses Headbutt to strike at one of the tentacles while Robin fires three arrows followed by firing four more arrows and then uses Cyclone Arrow, only for Egg Squid to rise back up from the water and then fires a giant cannonball while using its tentacles to slam to crush the party, who dodge, only for Egg Squid to unleash more black smoke. The party avoid the black smoke, only for Egg Squid to use its tentacles to fire more laser beams while slashing with its tentacle blades, but P.J. triple swings with his hammer followed by Blazing Bow and fires three fiery arrows while Max delivers three aerial slashes with his sword followed by a downward shield bash. Egg Squid swings its tentacles to strike at the party followed by firing three cannonballs, only for Goofy to deliver four bashes with his shield followed by an upper shield bash and then uses Rocket, but Egg Squid delivers more slashing strikes with its tentacle blades followed by firing laser beams, only for Donald to shoot three magic bullets and then casts Blizzara. Egg Squid goes underwater again and then uses its tentacles to crush the party followed by firing its laser beams, only for T.J. to use Trick Slash and teleports while slashing with his daggers to strike the tentacles, making Egg Squid rise back up while firing cannonballs, only for Calla to cast Triple Fira. Egg Squid unleashes more black smoke to try and blind the party, who avoid the black smoke, only for Egg Squid to deliver lashing attacks with its tentacle blades, but Eilonwy casts Volta followed by casting Gale while Sora uses Strike Raid and throws his Keyblade while Arthur casts Blazra followed by casting Quakra and they finish off Egg Squid.
Egg Squid starts to malfuncion, as it explodes into many pieces.
"Bah! You may have destroyed my creation, but you still haven't ruined my plans yet! I'll see you fools later!" Eggman said, flying off in his flying mobile.
"Hey, get back here, Baldy McNosehair!" Sonic yelled, running after Eggman.
"Sonic, wait for us!" Tails said.
"C'mon, guys!" Sora said, as they start moving.
The party leave Sapphire Beach and chase after Eggman and later, they arrive at what looks like a glade full of wildflowers.
"Looks like Eggman is somewhere around here." Max said.
"We gotta hurry and find him. We can't let him get away." Sonic said.
"Don't worry, Sonic. We'll find him." Arthur said.
The party begin moving through the wildflower glade to find Eggman while dealing with Black Xetis and Heartless in their way and they later come across what looks like a big flower, so they use it to get them across to the next part of the glade, as they come across a small pond with lilypads, so the part use the lilypads to get across the pond and keep moving through the glade, but as they keep going, they see someone surrounded by Goblin Black Xetis, Orc Black Xetis, Robot Heartless, and Large Robot Heartless.
"Someone's in danger!" Sora said.
"C'mon!" Calla said, as they confront the Black Xetis and Heartless.
"Hey, try handling us!" Donald yelled.
The Goblin Black Xetis deliver slashes with their blades while the Robot Heartless fire lasers from their blasters, but Arthur casts Stun to paralyze the enemies and then delivers four vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by two diagonal slashes and then casts Quakra while Sora triple 360 slashes with Kingdom Key followed by two roundhouse slashes and then casts Fira, only for the Orc Black Xetis to slam their clubs while the Large Robot Heartless swing their metallic hammers. Donald casts Stop to freeze the enemies and then casts Blizzara while Eilonwy unleashes five magic orbs followed by unleashing four more magic orbs and then casts Blazra, but the Robot Heartless fly around while dropping bombs while the Goblin Black Xetis deliver leaping slashes with their blades, only for Tod to use Growl and then uses Headbutt. The Large Robot Heartless deliver heavy swings with their metallic hammers followed by slamming their hammers while the Orc Black Xetis deliver heavy strikes with their clubs, but Goofy blocks with his shield and then uses Turbo and rides on his shield while T.J. uses Knife Barrage and throws many knives, only for the Robot Heartless to fire more lasers from their blasters while the Goblin Black Xetis deliver spinning slashes with their blades. Max blocks with his shield and then vertical slashes with his sword followed by Cyclone, but the Orc Black Xetis spin swing their clubs while the Large Robot Heartless slam their metallic hammers, only for Robin to fire four arrows followed by firing five more arrows and then uses Arrow Bombs. The Goblin Black Xetis deliver leaping slashes with their blades while the Robot Heartless fly around while dropping bombs, only for Calla to cast Aqua Blast while P.J. uses Boulder Bombs, but the Large Robot Heartless swing their metallic hammers while the Orc Black Xetis deliver swinging strikes with their clubs, only for Tails to shoot energy shots while Sonic uses Spin Dash and they defeat the enemies.
"That takes care of that." Robin said.
"If I neeeded any help, I woulda asked for it!" A voice said, as they see a red echidna with purple eyes, a white crescent mark on his chest, wearing white spiked gloves, and red, yellow, and green shoes.
"Tch, yeah, you're welcome, Knuckles! You clearly had things under control." Sonic said, crossing his arms.
"Shut it, Sonic! I don't have time for you!" Knuckles yelled.
"Hey, what's your problem?" Eilonwy asked.
"Stay outta this!" Knuckles yelled, making Calla cast Thundara Shot at him.
"That'll shut him up." Calla said.
"So, who's this?" P.J. asked.
"That's Kunckles. You could say he's our friend, sometimes..." Tails said.
"Mostly, he's a kuncklehead." Sonic said.
"So, what're you doing out here, Knuckles?" Arthur asked.
"Well, if you have to know, I'm looking for Eggman because the Master Emerald was stolen." Knuckles said.
"AGAIN, Knuckles? Y'know, for a guardian, you're pretty lousy at your own job." Sonic said.
"SHUT UP!" Knuckles shouted.
"Calm down. Look, we're looking for Eggman too." Sora said.
"If ya come with us, then we can find 'im together." Goofy said.
"Fine, but stay outta my way!" Knuckles said.
"We can say the same to you, Kuncklehead!" Donald said, crossing his arms.
"Why you...!" Knuckles growled.
"Shut up! Both of you!" Calla yelled.
"Let's just keep going. Please." Arthur said.
"Seriously." Tod said.
The party continue moving through Wildflower Meadows while fighting off more Black Xetis and Heartless in their way and they find another big flower and use it to take them to the next part of the meadow and arrive at a lakeside area with more big flowers and use them to get across the lakeside and reach the next part of the meadow and later, they arrive at what looks like a tree-like cave, where they find Eggman.
"Finally found ya, Doc!" Sonic said.
"Ya gave us the run around!" T.J. said.
"I'll admit, you're all tenacious. I commend you. Truly." Eggman said.
"Okay, Eggman! Where's the Master Emerald?!" Knuckles demanded.
"I don't have time to play Twenty Questions with you, but I'll give you someone to play with!" Eggman said, summoning what looks like a yellow and grey giant robot that looks like a wasp with metallic wings, bladed legs, red eyes, and giant stinger.
"Just one toy to take down after another!" Donald said.
"Let's take it out!" Sora said.
The robot known as Egg Wasp flies around while firing stinger-like missiles at the party, who dodge out of the way, but Egg Wasp keeps flying around while delivering a charging sting attack, only for Arthur to deliver three aerial slashes with Excalibur followed by an aerial roundhouse slash and then casts Voltra while Sora delivers three aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by an aerial flipping slash while Sonic uses Homing Attack. Egg Wasp retaliates with striking with its bladed legs followed by delivering a diving sting attack, only for Eilonwy to unleash ten magic blades and sends them to attack followed by casting Frostra while Calla unleashes three magic music waves followed by casting Triple Blizzara, but Egg Wasp strikes back with firing more stinger-like missiles. Tails creates a shield to protect everyone and then delivers three aerial strikes with his two tails while T.J. delivers four aerial slashes with his daggers followed by Dagger-Nado, only for Egg Wasp to keep flying around while delivering another charging attack with its stinger and then delivers more strikes with its bladed legs. Donald casts Aero to protect everyone and then unleashes four magic pillars followed by casting Earthra, only for Egg Wasp to retaliate with delivering a diving stinger strike, but Goofy blocks with his shield and then uses Rocket to strike at the robot, who strikes back with striking with its bladed legs. Max uses Parry and counterattacks with vertical slashes with his sword followed by Sky Dance and aerial slashes with his sword followed by a downward shield bash, but Egg Wasp fires more stinger-like missiles followed by another charge attack with its stinger, only for P.J. to use Blzaing Bow and fires three fiery arrows while Knuckles delivers an uppercut strike. Egg Wasp flies around while trying to dive attack with its stinger, but Robin fires three arrows followed by firing four more arrows and then uses Arrow Rain, only for Egg Wasp to keep firing more stinger-like missiles, but Tod aerial strikes with his stick followed by Quick Attack.
Egg Wasp flies around while dropping bombs that unleash poison gas to try and deal poison damage to the party, only for Knuckles to deliver four punches with his fists followed by a gliding strike while Tails throws three ring bombs, but Egg Wasp strikes back with its bladed legs followed by striking with its stinger, only for Sonic to use Sonic Wind and unleashes a whirlwind to deal damage. Egg Wasp retaliates with another charging attack with its stinger followed by dropping more bombs to unleash more poison gas, but the party dodge, as Tod uses Skullbash to strike, only for Egg Wasp to fire more stinger-like missiles followed by delivering another diving strike with its stinger, but Robin fires four arrows followed by firing five more arrows and then uses Arrow Barrage. Egg Wasp retaliates with striking with its bladed legs followed byunleashing mini robot wasps to attack the party, who avoid the mini robot wasps, as P.J. delivers three aerial swings with his hammer followed by Shocking Sickle to deal lightning damage while Max uses Shield Boomerang and throws his shield. Egg Wasp delivers more charging attacks with its stinger followed by diving attack with its stinger, but Goofy strikes back with four bashes with his shield followed by Discus and throws his shield, only for Egg Wasp to drop more bombs while unleashing more poison gas followed by unleashing more mini robot wasps, but Donald casts Fira followed by casting Water. Egg Wasp retaliates with flying around while firing more stinger-like missiles followed by diving attack with its stinger, only for T.J. to use Divira while summoning four clones and they use Razor Boomerang and throw their boomerangs to deal damage while Calla casts Geo Impact. Egg Wasp strikes back with its bladed legs followed by charging attack with its stinger, but Eilonwy unleashes four magic blasts from her tome followed by casting Gale, only for Egg Wasp to unleash more mini robot wasps to attack followed by firing its stinger-like missiles, but Sora uses Strike Raid while Arthur casts Frostra and they finish off Egg Wasp.
Egg Wasp starts malfunctioning, as it explodes into pieces.
"You'll pay for this! I promise you! I still have my weapon and you'll be sorry!" Eggman said, flying off in his mobile.
"Oh, no ya don't!" Sonic said, as they go after the evil scientist.
Unknowing to them, Gideon and Morgan watch as the party chase after Eggman.
"It's almost fer our trap ta begin!" Gideon said, smirking evilly.
"Everyone is just about ready! I'll go after them right about now." Morgan said, disappearing.
"Well, I'd say the fun is gettin' started! Wouldn't ya agree, Daddy?" Gideon asked, turning to the same metallic figure behind him.
The party keep going after Eggman and later leave Wildflower Meadows and as they keep going after Eggman, the party arrive at a canyon full of clocks and many gears.
"Is there Eggman's at now?" Knuckles asked.
"I'd say so." Tails said.
"Guess we'll have to turn this place upside-down if we're gonna get him." T.J. said.
"No time to waste then." Eilonwy said.
The party begin moving through Clockwork Canyon to find Eggman while dealing Eggman and they come across what looks like an hourglass, so Arthur flips the hourlgass upside-down to make a trail of gears appear, allowing the party to use the clocks to get across and keep moving through the canyon while fighting off more Black Xetis and Heartless in their way and then they get on a giant clock with rotating hands spinning around. As the party move across the giant clock while avoiding the rotating hands, they deal with more Black Xetis and Heartless and they later get off the giant clock and find another hourglass, which they use to make more gears appear for the party to use to get across the canyon and they later find what looks like a tall clock tower, so they decide to go in.
The party are now inside the clock tower full of spinning gears and swinging pendulums and while exploring inside the clock tower, they find Eggman.
"Ya gonna keep running or deal with us again, Eggman?" Sonic asked.
"You can't run from us forever!" Donald said.
"You're quite correct! Then again, you can't chase after me forever! Let's see if you're capable of fighting for long as you still can!" Eggman said, summoning another giant robot that appears to be a blue and grey condor with red eyes, a beak that's shaped like a drill, razor talons, and razor wings.
"Another robot..." Tails said.
"Just what we need!" Robin said.
"Here it comes!" Max said.
The robot known as Egg Condor flies around while unleashing razor feathers at the party, who avoid the razor feathers, only for Egg Condor to deliver a charging attack with its drill beak, but Arthur casts Hydro for ptotection and then delivers four slashes with Excalibur followed by two roundhouse slashes and then casts Quakra while Sora vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Ripple Drive and then casts Gravira. Egg Condor strikes back with attacking with its talons followed by striking with its razor wings, only for Donald to shoot three magic bullets followed by casting Blizzara, but Egg Condor flies around while attacking with its razor talons and then delivers three pecking attacks with its drill beak, only for Tails to deliver three aerial strikes with his two tails. Egg Condor fires more razor feathers at the party, who dodge, but Egg Condor attacks with its razor wings followed by slamming its drill beak, only for P.J. to deliver three heavy swings with his hammer followed by Wind Wand and unleashes whirlwinds while Knuckles delivers three punches followed by an uppercut strike. Egg Condor retaliates with delivering another charging attack with its drill beak followed by striking with its talons, but Goofy blocks with his shield and then uses Tornado while Calla unleashes four magic music notes followed by casting Aqua Blast, only for Egg Condor to retaliate with striking with its razor wings. Eilonwy casts Hydro to protect everyone and then unleashes five magic orbs followed by unleashing five more magic orbs and then casts Voltra while Robin fires three arrows followed by firing four more arrows and then uses Sniper Arrow, but Egg Condor triple pecks with its drill beak followed by striking with its talons. Max blocks with his shield and then diagonal slashes with his sword followed by Cyclone, only for Egg Condor to fire more razor feathers to attack, but Tod uses Quick Attack and delivers fast strikes while T.J. delivers four aerial slashes with his daggers while Sonic uses Homing Attack.
Egg Condor flies around while dropping explosive bombs down on the party, who avoid the explosive bombs, only for Egg Condor to deliver another charging attack with its drill beak, but Knuckles delivers his gliding punch attack while Tails shoots three energy shots from his cannon while Sonic uses Spin Dash, only for Egg Condor to strike back with its razor wings followed by slamming its drill beak to strike. Tod delivers three aerial strikes with his stick followed by Tackle, but Egg Condor delivers a spinning attack with its razor wings followed by striking with its razor talons, only for Robin to use Arrow Bombs and deals exploding damage, but Egg Condor flies around while dropping more explosive eggs on the party, who dodge. Egg Condor delivers another charging strike with its drill beak followed by firing razor feathers, only for P.J. to use Freezing Flail and swings his flail while dealing icy damage, but Egg Condor retaliates with slamming its drill beak to deal damage and then spin attacks with its razor wings, only for Max to use Parry and delivers three slashes with his sword followed by Cymbal Dance. Egg Condor flies around while dropping more explosive eggs followed by firing more razor feathers, but Goofy uses Rocket and delivers an upper strike with his shield while Donald unleashes ten magic orbs and sends them to strike followed by casting Thundara. Egg Condor strikes back with triple pecking with its drill beak followed by striking with its razor wings, only for T.J. to use Dagger-Nado and delivers a powerful spinning strike with his daggers while Calla delivers three strikes with her magic music whips followed by casting Triple Blizzara, but Egg Condor flies around while dropping more explosive eggs. Eilonwy unleashes magic blades and sends them to strike at the robot followed by casting Gale, only for Egg Condor to deliver another charging strike with its drill beak followed by striking with its razor talons, but Sora delivers five aerial slashes with Kingdom Key while Arthur uses Holy Blade and strikes with his light-coated sword and delivers a slamming attack and they finish off Egg Condor.
Egg Condor starts malfunctioning and then explodes into piece.
"Curses! You'll regret this!" Eggman yelled.
"Is this really all ya got, Egghead? Y'know, if you'd started playing nice, we wouldn't have to break all your toys." Sonic said.
"Then how about dealing with us?" A voice asked, as they see Morgan.
"Oh, great! You're here too." Calla said.
"Even if you do team up with Eggman, we're still more than a match!" T.J. said.
"Well, we'll just see about that!" Morgan said, casting her spell to send Arthur, Eilonwy, Calla, T.J., Max, P.J., Robin, and Tod away.
"Artie!" Sora cried.
"Maxie!" Goofy cried.
"What did you do?!" Donald demanded, pointing his staff.
"You'll see." Morgan said, disappearing.
"Get back here!" Sora yelled.
"Now, Sonic, you have two options; either chase after me or try and help your new friends." Eggman said, flying off in his mobile.
"Argh, I hate Eggman!" Sonic said.
"C'mon, we're gonna Artie and the others!" Sora said.
"Let's go!" Donald said.
"Sonic..." Tails stops talking.
"We're goin' with ya guys!" Sonic said.
"You guys can go on ahead! I'm going after Eggman!" Knuckles said, leaving.
"Let's get a move on!" Goofy said, as they start moving to leave Clockwork Canyon.
