Well, at least I can leave this world now. Lily is no threat, considering she's a 9 year old child I no longer have any business with. In fact, since she became champion, I think she's eligible to just travel through worlds now.
But again, that's not my problem.
I looked at Lily, who seemed to notice I just grew visibly stronger, and thanked her, "Hey, Lily. I don't exactly like you for forcing me to win in a Pokemon battle, but I do appreciate you making this… Somewhat painless, yeah? Enjoy the rest of your life. I don't intend to interfere."
That was my version of an apology.
Lily chuckled, getting it, "Oh, it's okay! I know you wanted it more than I did. I hope the next fragment you have to get is easier than I was!"
Humming, I looked over to where my friends were seated. They were all apparently leaving the stadium through normal means, but then I remember I could just ask Dori by messaging her.
Still, I have to finish up this conversation with Lily really quickly.
"Alright, I have to go meet up with my friends and acquaintances real quick," I said, looking over to see Leon coming back on field, I also mention, "Eh, you might see my friend, Dori, do some business in this world. But she's harmless, so don't be too hard on her."
Nodding, Lily simply said what would probably be the last words I hear from her, "Okay, then. Bye bye, Fuse!"
"See ya, Lily," I said, not seeing much else to say.
Pulling out Vermont, my Rotom Phone, the only Pokemon I have that hasn't fainted, I sent Dori a text message.
Fuse: See you in Teyvat. I ain't going through the crowds lmao.
Dori: Pokemon fight was cool. Will meet you there.
With that finished, I made my portal in plain sight, not caring at all for the reactions of the common folk.
Making it to Alcazarzary, I immediately jumped on the couch in the living room.
Dori probably wasn't going to be here for a while, so I decided that I would both check who my next opponent was, and open my gacha tokens.

I haven't watched it, so I only know that I'm going to some kind of magic world war 2 world.
Which also means…
It's not exactly the same America I came from, but if it has the stars and stripes and values freedom, then it's essentially one of those parallel universe versions of America.
As such, I have no issue with pledging my allegiance to another version of my beloved country.
I just have to hope that, ah, Colette isn't on America's side. Or that maybe the war is already over. I'd hate to inconvenience my country to complete my main objective of getting back to my world.
With that aside, I pulled out my gacha tokens. The last one of these I got was almost a month ago since I was essentially stagnating trying to train my Pokemon. It's good to be back gambling.
First, my divine gacha token.

…Huh, holy shit. That's a pretty big fucking pickup. Concept erasure? That's probably going to be useful.
…Though, I think it's just concepts that I can hit. Maybe I can erase the concept of a gun for a while, but not like the concept of fighting someone.
Still, this is a very good weapon to get. Not sure what I'm going to use it for, but it'll be good no matter the situation.
As for what I'm going to call it… Ah, I'm going to sleep on it.
For now, I'll open my other gacha tokens.

Hm, the spear and scope are useless. Debris Avoidance is nice. The Perk picker and the once a month 8 second immunity are really nice.
Alright, so what perk do I get from perk picker?

Ooh, these are all pretty good perks.
Innate Talent is pretty good, but it only goes up to a month. I think I could dedicate a month to something so that head start wouldn't mean much in the long run.
Tipping the Scales, I think I can spot a weakness within it. Mostly in what constitutes a clash. If I shoot a nuke, my bullet would probably just flatten and not count as a clash. But if I shoot off a soul bolt at a laser, it would probably clash for a second which would count as me winning the clash and enveloping the laser or something.
Destructive though. I don't really have that many abilities at the moment that really just say "screw this area in particular."
I think, objectively, Tipping the Scales is the best option. Personally, I really like Destructive…
I think I'll get more mileage out of Destructive. I think I'd rather just dodge an attack than clash with it.
So, I chose Destructive.
I know I'm going to regret that option at some point, probably. But everyone gets a replenishing stock of subpar decisions they're allowed to make.
I think that's how it works, anyways.
With that decision made, I got the perk I wanted and the perk picker disappeared like it was advertised.
Now, I figure out what I can do to get ready before I get thrown into magical Europe in the middle of a world war.
That is, if Colette, being a Gamer likely on the same level as me, hasn't already ended the war.
If only I knew what fragment of the domino I'll be chasing after next…

It's 3:44 AM. 2.4k words. I just really procrastinated on this one because I dropped 5k words 2 days earlier and now I gotta pull in 2k more. Thankfully though, this is a Gamer fic so I can pad the word count with a lot of filler menu stuff.
I started at like, 11 PM though, so this was some alright pacing.
