"Oh for the love of... " Izuku groaned under his breath as he finished the last in a long line of vaguely quirkist law books, he was prepping for his bar exam by re-reading recent copies of Japanese law today and was quickly reminded why he had a love-hate relationship with modern law, and he rubbed his forehead to rid himself of his tension.
Izuku was suddenly very glad he decided that he was going to take a break from college for a month, Riya had suggested it so that he could help them translate Heroic Sacrifice faster but Izuku was sure he'd need a break from studying for a while after this as well.
The only good thing coming from this was helping him keep from committing any faux pas in the book that would cause problems later on, and once he got licensed it would be much easier to argue against any quirkist people trying to bar children from getting medical help because of their quirk.
And unlike the other times Izuku was quite giddy for his celebration party because the Bakugous were going to be there, all of them.
It had taken time and a hell of a lot of help from Maddison but he was adjusted enough that Katsuki was willing to come see him in person, surrounded by people that could and would 'put his ass in line' (Katsuki's words) if it came down to it but after nearly three years he didn't care.
He was finally going to introduce his friends to Katsuki, Katsuki didn't want to overwhelm his friends and would save meeting the two of them for a later date, Izuku understood since they were still adjusting to being treated as two separate people and didn't need the craziness of Izuku's life on top of it.
He was a bit jealous that Katsuki had friends with such cool quirks and that he wasn't sharing anything about the specifics of their quirks, two avian quirked people, one being a shadow like familiar and the other having some kind of telepathy with the other sounded so cool.
He would just have to work really hard to impress Katsuki with his progress in his mental health so that Katsuki wouldn't retreat from him again.
Izuku and mom planned everything to go down this coming Thursday, and he had to talk down his friends from playing hooky so they could come to his party early, he wasn't sure he was successful though given Mezo-Kun and Ochaco-Chan's parents were supportive of the plan and were willing to cover for them.
Izuku made sure to pick a time in the morning for his test so that he could help his mom with decorating and cooking this time around, which was a good thing all things considered.
Cause when Izuku finished the bar and had his paper permit in hand he returned home to his mom in a state because she forgot to pick up a key spice for a special sea-food gumbo and couldn't leave to pick it up since she had to keep stirring another pot so it wouldn't be ruined.
So, after reassuring his mom he popped down to a store that was quite a bit out of the way to grab it, unfortunately places that sell capsaicin products were far and few after Japan became predominantly quirked, just another reason to hate All For One for he supposed.
So as Izuku was there he got a couple bottles of spices as well before coming back and despite his persisting love for heroes he was getting annoyed by just how many Heroes he saw in adverts.
It was no wonder people from other countries questioned if Japan had a hero-based religion when you couldn't walk two feet without seeing them plastered everywhere and had them patrolling all day.
Walking under a bridge Izuku was un-explicitly shocked when he heard the echo-y scream of "Deku-Sensei!" and whirled around to see where the noise was coming from until a jet of dark green slime poured out of a sewer grate, Izuku only was able to glimpse a flash of pale green eyes before his torso was completely wrapped in the slime and the familiar voice of one of his students was pleading for him to help them.
Once he realized which of his students this was Izuku became greatly concerned, the slimy mass around him was a boy named Roland-Kun.
While Roland-Kun lived closer to his house than most after being taken in by his god-father, Akio the boy only lived ten miles away from his home now, not to mention Roland-Kun wasn't in his body and using his quirk in the sewer of all places despite knowing how sick he could become from doing that and had clearly caused the change of color of his slime.
Whatever was happening was an emergency and Izuku quickly fell back into Deku-Sensei mode bringing his hands up to his neck and Roland-Kun's eyes and mouth quickly hid there out of habit, Izuku was about to reassure the boy and ask what was wrong but Roland-Kun cut him off.
"I-I ran into someone and then I was out of my body and r-robbing the store I was in before I could stop myself, I tried to explain b-but then All Might was there and he started chasing me-" Roland-Kun told him, the slime constantly circling his body unable to settle from Roland-Kun's terror.
"Hey, hey. Calm down, just breathe." Izuku said gently stroking one of his eyes, waiting for the slime to slow down before continuing "Now, tell me what's wrong from the top." Izuku softly requested.
Roland-Kun was about to speak but stopped when there was a loud pop sound and Izuku barely had time to turn his head when he heard a shout of "I am here!"
In one second Roland-Kun quickly engulfed Izuku's whole body in slime and he nearly choked on the boy as a fist punched him in the gut, hard. The next he couldn't feel the ground under his feet being thrown back by the force and his back made hard contact with a brick wall forcing Izuku out of consciousness.
Izuku's head really hated him right now, and he had no idea why, was it Sunday? His head only hated him this much when he had a long session with Kaoru-Kun... Wait, Kaoru-Kun moved so it has to be Wednesday.
He flinched when he felt a harsh slap to his already sore cheek.
However the unexpected pain jolted his brain enough to remember that waking up from being knocked out was a bad sign, he sat up scrambling back as his head swam and blinked his eyes trying to clear up his vision as fast he could.
Izuku could hear someone saying something but his ears weren't awake enough for him to know what they said exactly but he could very clearly see the panic in his student Roland-Kun's eyes from where the boy was trapped inside a plastic bottle.
All other things were quickly thrown out of his mind as he focused on his student.
"Well, I need to take this guy to the police. See you again on the other side of the screen!" the man holding Roland-Kun proclaimed bringing him out of his shock, and he recognized All Might's form from anywhere but that wasn't nearly important as the man putting his trapped student into his pocket.
The two eyes inside looking even more terrified if that was somehow possible as they silently pleaded with him from where the bottle poked out of the pocket.
"Wait a second!" Izuku yelled scrambling to his feet.
"Pros are always in battle in against time and villains." All Might dismissively said turning away from him.
"Hey I said wait!" Izuku screamed at the man rushing over to him as All Might crouched to the ground.
"Well then, I'm counting on your continued support!" All Might told him clearly not listening to him and knowing it would be near impossible to find Roland-Kun after the fact Izuku did something that was quite possibly his stupidest decision.
And that was keeping in mind that he regularly argued with the heads of major gangs and 'supposedly' hung out with convicted murderers.
Izuku was barely able to hold onto the leg he grabbed when All Might leaped off the ground, however he was stubborn enough not to let a few G-forces keep him from protecting his students.
All Might apparently hadn't noticed him for the first few seconds and he knew the man was trying to say something over the wind but it was utterly lost to him, All Might shaking his leg wasn't as subtle and Izuku guessed the man thought Izuku wasn't brash enough to cling to him if he couldn't get down from midair himself.
Izuku would like to think that All Might wasn't trying to get rid of him without considering that, or worse just trying to get rid of Izuku, mainly because his friends have enough disappointment with heroes and he'd rather they'd not become jaded to the point of vigilantism.
"I can't fly!" Izuku screamed desperately holding on to the man's cargo pants, thankful All Might seemed to have heard him or was tired of shaking his leg and landed on a nearby rooftop.
He stumbled since he hadn't had the opportunity to get used to something like flying and his headache wasn't helping things "Good grief. If you talk to the people downstairs, I'm sure they'll let you down. I seriously am outta time, so I really must- Hey!?"
All Might's attempt to lecture him or whatever fell on deaf eyes because as soon as Izuku could feel his legs again he leaped at All Might's leg searching through the pockets for any sign of Roland-Kun, his stomach sinking once he came up empty handed when the bottle was clearly sticking out before.
"Where is the bottle!?" he yelled at the hero hoping that maybe, just maybe he had missed All Might moving Roland-Kun to somewhere else no matter how impossible.
Because if All Might hadn't then Roland-Kun must have fallen out when All Might shook his leg and would now be trapped who knows where with no way to get out and would most definitely run out of oxygen before Izuku could find him.
All Might suddenly paled patting his pants down and that was more than a clear answer and Izuku wanted nothing more than to scream at the top of his lungs about how stupid this grown man was to just shove a trapped human being into a pocket and calling it a day.
Instead Izuku kicked an abandoned can "Damn it!" he cursed running for the edge of the roof and jumped down onto the fire escape to wriggle his way down to the ground so he could start searching for his kid.
He distantly heard All Might yelling something at him and he was sure that in another world where he was still All Might's number one fan he'd be completely abashed by his behavior but present Izuku couldn't give a damn because one of his kids could be literally dying right now.
Izuku pulled out his phone and speed dialed the Vespas of the area and didn't wait for the person on the other side to speak "Alpha situation, track my coordinates for the last minute and send everyone to look for a plastic bottle, red label filled with greenish slime and green eyes. The kid's name is Roland-Kun, he's nine, and at most he has two and half minutes of air left." Izuku quickly relayed over the phone his eyes searching for any trace of the bottle.
"Understood." a man told him before hanging up and Izuku immediately switched to call Aiko to inform him of what was going on, where he was when Roland-Kun came out of the sewer and promised to keep him updated on what was going on.
Izuku was scouring an alley when the familiar face of Elmo jumped over to him "Izuku! We found him! Someone else found him first and they're both freaking out and destroying a street!" Elmo informed him.
Izuku didn't question him and rapidly followed Elmo to where Roland-Kun was, his stomach flipping once he heard the sound of explosions getting louder and louder.
Izuku's luck wasn't that bad was it? It couldn't be...
Much to his horror, when they got to the wrecked street Izuku indeed saw Roland-Kun was free and mostly likely in a full-blown panic attack, and deep in his clutches was none other than Katsuki in the same sense of panic and any time he got his hands free of Roland-Kun they'd immediately burst with explosions.
Which was bad enough but having a whole crowd of people around them gawking as the heroes on scene had successfully cornered them weren't even trying to talk to either of them, which was only making things so much worse.
"Fuck!" Izuku cursed rushing through the crowd and pushing to the front, fully intending to get right to the middle of this so he could diffuse the situation before it escalated even more than it already had.
So, he very much did not appreciate it when some hero stuck their arm out to stop him "This is a dangerous hostage situation, stay behind the line kid!" the hero, Deatharms Izuku faintly remembered, scolded him.
Izuku shot him a glare and easily ducked under the man's arm and weaved through the fire and debris with ease "Roland-Kun! Kacchan!" Izuku yelled, getting closer.
"Deku-Sensei!?" Roland-Kun cried having managed to hear him over the explosions and his own panic by some miracle, and the boy's eyes frantically searched for him.
Izuku whistled and the boy's eyes landed on him "Guys calm down! Everything is going to be alright!" He told them quickly, finding his way over to the two of them.
Both Roland-Kun and Katsuki were very afraid, but Izuku managed to get them to focus on him. Roland-Kun was still keeping Katsuki's arm inside as best as he could and Izuku wished that it wasn't necessary.
Deciding that Katsuki was the bigger threat at the moment, both to himself and everyone else and focused his attention on him "Kacchan, eyes on me. The person on you is Roland-Kun, he's a scared kid and is just as freaked out as you are, he will not harm you." Izuku told the blond, Katsuki's eyes weren't glazed over yet so he was aware enough for him to understand.
Turning back to his terrified student Izuku easily pulled out a smile "Roland-Kun, everything is fine. I'm right here, I won't let them hurt you. You know that." he calmly said walking forward with his arm raised.
Roland-Kun at the point of sobbing lowered Katsuki to the ground waiting until Katsuki had solid footing before completely removing himself from the blond and wrapped around Izuku instead, the boy's slime body only around his torso and neck "Deku-Sensei... " Roland-Kun whimpered and Izuku gently pat the slime.
"Shh... I'm here Roland-Kun, I'm right here." Izuku cooed softly stroking the slime then glanced at Katsuki, almost at once Izuku lost his voice.
Katsuki at the very least didn't look much better, which made sense considering this was the first time they had seen each other in person in three years and this wasn't quite the best situation, Katsuki didn't seemed to be on the verge of a blackout like when he was wrapped up in Roland-Kun's slime though.
Izuku glanced at the ground and was about to apologize for calling Katsuki using the old nickname after promising he wouldn't call him Kacchan but felt Roland-Kun tense around him and immediately leaped back just as a large hand reached out to grab him, Izuku's hands went straight to his neck providing Roland-Kun shelter to hide his eyes and mouth.
Izuku's eyes followed the arm and saw that it was attached to a confused looking Deatharms, Izuku glared at the man for interfering in his business for a second time now "What do you think you're doing?" Izuku questioned only keeping from hissing at the man because of Roland-Kun.
The man reeled back likely not expecting the sharpness of his tone, Izuku had been told by his students that they'd get whiplash from how quickly he could turn on someone when it came to kids and it looked like that wasn't limited to them, Katsuki also whipped his head to look at him shocked.
"I am taking in a dangerous and violent villain that is trying to take you hostage!" the hero arrogantly proclaimed and Izuku didn't hesitate to sneer at him feeling Roland-Kun quivering.
"My student is not a villain!" Izuku snapped back at the man turning his body protectively away from Deatharms watching the hero blue screen.
"Your, student?" another voice repeated and Izuku risked a glance away from Deatharms and spotted the recently debuted hero Kamui Woods who kept a cautious distance from him and Roland-Kun.
"Yes," he hissed back, regretting lashing out as Roland-Kun whimpered again and nuzzled the slime in his hands before he continued "In case you professionals haven't noticed by now, your "villain" here isn't even ten years old, or maybe you would have realized that if you took a second to talk to him instead of assuming the worst." Izuku informed them keeping his spite in check.
Kamui Woods' eyes widened, and he stared at the eyes hidden by Izuku's hands, and Izuku felt a touch of guilt as shame overtook Kamui's eyes.
"Minor or not it doesn't excuse going on a quirk fueled rampage and holding another person captive." Deatharms told him and Kamui Woods shot the man a look but before he could say anything a blonde woman pushed passed him.
"Yeah, and aren't you a little young to be a teacher?" Mount Lady, a (very) pompous hero that was also new to the pro-hero scene asked clearly unbothered with going after a minor, severely lowering his opinion of both Deatharms and her. Kamui Woods just needed a course in observation, and he might be decent from what he had seen so far.
Izuku scoffed "I'd be happy to show you my seven college degrees," Izuku told her sarcasm dripping from his tone "But I think taking care of my student after his quirk was forcefully activated by a mentally manipulating quirk, and attacked by the people who should have been helping him is a touch more important." Izuku spat back.
Kamui Woods once again was the only one that seemed to have the self-awareness to be ashamed and guilty when Izuku called them out, Mount Lady didn't seem to have a reply for that and Deatharms unsurprisingly got defensive and doubled down "Regardless, we have to take him in for illegal quirk use and property destruction, and if you continue to interfere in us taking him in I will arrest you for being an accessory and preventing justice." the man threatened.
Izuku scowled back at him an ominous aura surrounding him "Quirk law 63 paragraph 2 states that a minor not in full control of their quirk due to outside circumstances cannot be held accountable in a court of law, especially when under a mental quirk's influence." Izuku snapped back shocking the hero.
"If you're going to bluff make sure it isn't something against the law or I will make you regret it, one of those degrees was in law and I'm a certified lawyer so I know damn well what my and my student's rights are in this situation." Izuku told the man.
"So, the three of us will be going to get checked out by the E.M.T.s as is protocol before going to the nearest police station to report this incident. One of you can do your job and escort us there but if any of you dare try to separate me from my student, I can and will sue you for gross misconduct and abuse of power." Izuku said laying out what was going to happen and if he had to, he would make good on his promise.
Deatharms was almost turning purple from how galled he was, but Kamui Woods quickly stepped forward before he could say anything and shot the man a glare silently telling the man to shut up "I shall accompany you until we can get to a police station." Kamui Woods told them his hands coming up to hover just behind Izuku and Katsuki's back.
Izuku nodded and searched for the lights of an ambulance before walking over to it only stopping when he noticed Katsuki wasn't following him, Katsuki stared at Izuku as if he had two heads and Izuku supposed that it was fitting considering that before he started his work in earnest, he would have never dreamed of saying a single negative word about a hero.
And now here he was just short of cursing them out, four years ago he would have been completely mortified and utterly ashamed of himself for implying half of the things he just said to his mom, much less say it to the hero in questions face.
"You coming Katsuki?" Izuku asked and that brought Katsuki out of his shock, and he hesitantly trailed after him towards the ambulance, Kamui Woods following them both an arm's length away from them.
Unfortunately, there are just people who don't know when to give up and Deatharms seemed to be one of those people as he somehow got around Kamui Woods fast enough to get in close "Hey! Kid don't you walk away from me!" he yelled reaching out for Izuku's shoulder.
Izuku reacted immediately jumping away and stood directly in front of Katsuki "Don't you dare touch my student." Izuku snarled as Roland-Kun started quivering again.
"Don't you take that tone with me- " Deatharms tried to scold him red in the face, but Izuku cut him off officially done with this pompous fool.
"We are going to get checked out by the E.M.T.s. If you try to prevent us from getting medical attention after a traumatic event, that is grounds for me to charge you with criminal negligence in the first degree and get your hero license suspended if not outright revoked pending investigation." Izuku snapped, taking a small amount of pride when Deatharms turned pale.
"You're already testing my patience as it is, but if you continue this crusade of yours, I can assure you that you will have far more to worry about than losing your license." Izuku darkly promised the man, the Vespas would already have put a target on the man's back but that would easily become a full out hit if he kept pestering Izuku.
Not waiting for a response Izuku gently pushed Katsuki over to the ambulance backing away from the man so that he could keep his eyes on him, thankfully for his sanity Deatharms finally backed off as Kamui Woods also kept an eye on him as they walked over.
His attention was so focused that he didn't realize who was in the ambulance until after he was there, and he beamed upon seeing Osamu-Kun there waiting for him and with Dabi's brother Natsuo.
"Osamu-Kun." Izuku greeted with a wave then turned to Roland-Kun "Roland-Kun this is my very good friend Osamu-Kun, he's the nicest doctor I've ever met other than my mom so don't worry about anything okay." He whispered to the boy and his quivering stopped even though the boy was still anxious.
"Mido-Sempai are you okay? I've never seen you so... " Osamu-Kun trailed off clearly bothered by seeing him so angry before, Izuku nodded.
"I'm fine, some wind burns and a sprained ankle from before, more worried about this little guy and my friend here." Izuku replied cocking his head towards Katsuki, softly patting Roland-Kun.
"Roland-Kun was zooming through the sewer for a while and took in who knows what." Izuku explained sitting down on one end of the ambulance and holding out his hands so Osamu-Kun could examine Roland-Kun.
Osamu-Kun hemmed and hawed over Roland-Kun, softly stroking the slime while Natsuo was taking care of Katsuki "Is this Roland-Kun's natural state? Or is the color off?" Osamu-Kun asked.
"No, he has a body somewhere. And his slime is normally clear or a pale blue-ish, I almost didn't recognize him at first. Do you have anything for clearing up?" Izuku asked also stroking Roland-Kun.
"We don't normally but I've got a bottle of goo-per in the back." Osamu-Kun offered.
"That'll work just hand it over and Roland-Kun can do the rest." he told Osamu-Kun and the boy grabbed the bottle and handed it over, Izuku un-capped it and Roland-Kun slipped his body in the bottle, slipping in and out of it cycling through it until his body was the opaque pale blue it was supposed to be.
Izuku re-capped the bottle handing it back to Osamu-Kun "Any other problems Roland-Kun?" Izuku asked and Roland-Kun shook a makeshift head before settling on Izuku's shoulder "Okay Roland-Kun, would you let Osamu-Kun see your eyes and mouth first? Then we'll be all done." Izuku requested and Roland-Kun moved back some of his slime so Osamu-Kun could.
"I think Roland-Kun here should go in for a checkup at some point to make sure nothing is wrong, but I'll clear him to leave since you're with him Mido-Sempai, How's your guy Natsuo?" Osamu-Kun inquired.
"His blood-pressure is low." Natsuo replied and Izuku nodded.
"His quirk is nitroglycerin-like sweat, he takes meds to keep his blood pressure in check, 70 beats a minute is the safe number for him." Izuku mentioned.
Natsuo flushed a bit "Ah, then he's alright. In shock maybe but he's already coming out of it." Natsuo replied and Osamu-Kun nodded.
"Okay, then I'll clear them both and you can get the paperwork done up for this mess. Either of you want some candy?" Osamu-Kun offered to Katsuki and Roland-Kun.
"Thank you, Roland-Kun will take some hard candy." Izuku answered standing up, Osamu-Kun pulled out some and Roland-Kun absorbed them into his slime, dissolving them in seconds much to the fours shock, Izuku just patted Roland-Kun's slime.
"Alright, let's go. I know where the station is and it's in walking distance. Nice seeing you again Osamu-Kun." Izuku said as he walked off getting out his phone to text Aiko where he was going to be, and that Roland-Kun was shaken up but all right.
The walk was uneventful, Katsuki kept glancing at him looking conflicted but said nothing and Kamui Woods didn't feel like talking either.
The only hiccup was Katsuki freezing up outside the station, but Izuku took the lead grabbing loosely onto his school uniform jacket sleeve and led Katsuki inside and over to a bench while Kamui Woods went off to flag down an officer probably.
The wait was short, but Izuku did get some good news from Aiko that he found Roland-Kun's body and he'd be there as soon as possible.
Kamui Woods came back with two officers and they were led somewhere private, one with a cat head and the other Izuku remembered from the Vespas talking about him as a detective with a lie detector quirk "Officers." Izuku briskly greeted the two.
"Hello, may I please have your names? For the record." the lie detector asked and Izuku glanced at Katsuki and saw how uncomfortable he was, Roland-Kun certainly wasn't going to volunteer anything himself from how he curled in on himself.
"My name is Midoriya Izuku, he is Bakugou Katsuki, this is my student J'ohnn Roland. Until their parents arrive, I will be acting as they're legal guardian and will answer questions for them." Izuku stated, remembering to text aunt Mitsuchan about Katsuki being with him and that they were alright.
"How old are you?" Kamui Woods questioned and if he was anyone else Izuku might've felt offended, but he was more or less used to it from his new students.
"I will be fifteen in July, I am considered an adult by law." Izuku replied and saw the shock on all three of them, especially the lie detector one.
"You're a kid?!" Kamui Woods exclaimed and Izuku took a deep breath.
"A teenager technically. As of 2327 however, any quirkless individual ten years old or older is considered and treated as a legal adult of eighteen years in the eyes of the Japanese government and will be treated as such legally, due to the Quirk amendment decree, paragraph fourteen." Izuku recited off the top of his head, he also had the print out of it on him at all times if that wasn't enough for them.
The cat officer and Kamui Woods both turned to the lie detector who numbly nodded, neither of them seemed to quite process the information just yet "You're, quirkless?" the cat asked the first to come around.
Izuku raised an eyebrow at that "Yeah, couldn't you tell?" he responded, lifting a foot and shook it for emphasis.
"No... ?" the cat replied sharing a confused glance with the other two.
Izuku groaned with a facepalm, and he caught Katsuki giving them the 'are you serious?' look so he wasn't alone in his disappointment.
"Quirkless people have a different bone structure in our feet, you likely know the most obvious change of two pinky toe joints, there are no mainstream producers of quirkless shoes in Japan and only one brand is imported and sold in the country unless you can pay for customs. So nearly every quirkless person wears this specific type and color of shoe." Izuku explained to them, wondering why he had to be the one to break this to them considering the death rates.
Not waiting for them to finish thinking about it Izuku cleared his throat "Now that we've cleared up my status as a legal adult, may I know whom I'm speaking to?" Izuku requested.
"I am Detective Tsukauchi, and this is my partner Tamakawa." The lie detector introduced himself and motioned to the cat headed man.
Izuku nodded "I think it would be best that I go first giving my statement, J'ohnn and Bakugou are still quite shaken." Izuku commented.
Tsukauchi glanced at the two and nodded "Midoriya, tell me how you got involved in this incident." Tsukauchi prompted.
"I was walking home from a run to the store when J'ohnn called out for me from the sewers, I didn't recognize him at first because he wasn't in his body and-" Izuku tried to explain but Katsuki cut him off finally speaking.
"Wasn't in his body? Deku what the fuck!?" Katsuki exclaimed clearly disturbed only to cover his mouth with his hand and turn away from him immediately.
The adults weren't any better shocked and confused, Roland-Kun tightened around him, and he brought a hand up for Roland-Kun to hide behind, Izuku was about to explain but a commotion outside distracted them.
Aiko burst through the door there holding the body of a nine-year-old that looked almost like a mummy and green fluid that Izuku knew was Roland-Kun's uncle Jared around his neck "Uncle!" Roland-Kun cried upon seeing them and slid off Izuku and slotted himself back into his body.
His eyes and mouth coming in last after his slime filled out his form, when he finished he looked like any other nine year old and hugged the two of them.
Izuku cleared his throat bringing all eyes back on him and away from the family "Does that explain what I meant by 'not in his body'?" Izuku questioned, Tsukauchi nodded "Yes." the man commented.
"I am so sorry this is all my fault!" A woman cried out and Izuku turned back and saw that Roland-Kun's guardians weren't alone and that a tired looking woman and a quiet teary eyed little girl in her arms.
"Why do you say that?" Izuku asked.
"My daughter just got her quirk, it's an impulse quirk and she isn't happy wearing gloves all the time, I should've kept a better eye on her in the shop." the woman told him.
Izuku nodded with a hum, rubbing his chin "And with Roland-Kun's kleptomania your daughter's quirk boosted it and he robbed the place under its influence. And before anyone could understand what happened All Might showed up and chased Roland-Kun into the sewers. He found me before All Might knocked us both out, I tried to stop All Might from taking off with Roland-Kun when I woke up." Izuku put together.
"And we lost Roland-Kun in the confusion, Bakugou found him but because Roland-Kun was so worked up, he tried to cling to Bakugou, which was how we ended up with them accidentally wrecking a street in their combined terror." Izuku finished up.
Roland-Kun broke from hugging his god-father and nodded "T-that's what happened." Roland-Kun muttered, and Katsuki grunted before nodding.
"I see, we'll still need to ask you all some questions." Tsukauchi said and Aiko glared at him.
"I'm sure your questions can wait until I get my son checked out at a hospital, officer. Midoriya-San can give you my number." Aiko firmly told them then turned to Izuku "Thank you for keeping Rollie safe Mido-Kun." he said much nicer, and Jared-San would have thanked him too if he wasn't busy comforting Roland-Kun.
"Of course, I'd never let anything happen to one of my students if I could help it." Izuku replied waving him off.
The man didn't waste another second before leaving and Izuku turned to the detectives "Now, what questions do you have for us?" Izuku asked.

Unfortuntantly, Canon turned out to be a dead-beat and I won't let it around the kids until it pays me back in child support and Canon won't be allowed near the kids until it can prove it won't turn the characters into idiots and assholes.
