Brisbane Hospital:

Captain had just been dropped off to the hospital by his mother to see his little buddy Mackenzie before surgery. He walks inside building and heads to the counter to find Mackenzie's room. Then he makes it to the third floor and eventually finds Mackenzie's room and opens door to see Mackenzie who was sitting in his hospital bed with tubes up his nose as well as an IV attached to his hand and was hugging a teddy bear to comfort before his surgery starts and his parents by side to support him. "Hey Mackenzie." Captain as he walked to the foot Mackenzie bed. "Oh, Hey Captain." Mackenzie responded. "Oh, Captain I'm so glad you could make it." Mackenzie's mother said while petting her son's back as he was get very anxious about his surgery. "Yeah, I thought I'd just stop by before the surgery begins." Captain said scratching the of his head. "So Mackenzie, you're feeling any better, You gave me quite a scare yesterday. Captain said. "Yeah, I'm feeling a little bit better but I am nervous about my surgery though. Mackenzie responded as he hugged his teddy bear tightly in his arms. "Don't worry mate, I'll be right here when the surgery in done, Okay?" Captain said taking a seat on the bed to petting Mackenzie's head. "Thanks Captain, I just can't wait to get these things out of me." Mackenzie said as Captain starts to giggle.

"Knock, Knock"

"Alright Mackenzie, It's Time." Dr. Shepherd said as he steps in the room to get Mackenzie as it was time for his surgery. Mackenzie starts growing more nervous and holds on to his teddy bear tightly as the doctor walks up close to him and takes the tubes out of his nose. "It's okay mate, I promise It will all be over soon, okay?" Mackenzie takes a deep breath and holds the doctor's hand and gets up from the bed and walks with Dr. Shepard with the IV by his side. "Bye Mackenzie, I'll be rooting for you." Captain said as Mackenzie looks back for the last time as he walks out the leaving his friend and his parents.


Operation Room:

Mackenzie was lying on the operating table with his both his arms tied down on the arm rest as Dr. Shepherd and the nurses surround him. Dr. Shepherd grabs the oxygen mask which was connected to the anesthesia machine run by the Anesthesiologist. He puts the mask onto Mackenzie's muzzle which causes him to have a panic attack. "It's okay mate, Just relax for me, Alright? Just relax." Dr. Shepherd said trying to calm Mackenzie down as the anesthesia kicks in and he falls asleep.

"Alright, Let's Begin." Dr Shepherd said putting on the surgical mask on his face. He starts by grabbing the scalpel then vertically makes an incision on Mackenzie from his upper stomach to his bellybutton. He opens the skin exposing the intestines and holds the skin down with some forceps. Then he grabs one of the intestines and make an incision then he puts his two fingers in and starts to pull the noodle-like parasites out and puts them in a large bowl. Then his squeezes the intestines pushing out some more. It was an endless amount of parasites coming out.

Meanwhile:

Mackenzie's parents and Captain were sitting in the waiting room. Mackenzie's mother lays her head on her husband's shoulder as he comforts her. Meanwhile, Captain was said next to them concerned for his little buddy. "Come on Mackenzie, You got this." Captain said his thoughts rooting for his friend to fight.

Meanwhile, Meanwhile:

Dr. Shepherd takes out the last amount of parasites and puts them in the bowl which was full of them. He then closes Mackenzie's skin and stitches it up with some staples. The surgery was complete.


The Waiting Room:

Dr. Shepherd then walks up to the parents and Captain to tell them how to operation went. Both Mackenzie's parents and Captain instantly get the their chairs once they saw the doctor walk up to them. "How did it go?" Captain asked wondering how the surgery went. "Well, the surgery was a success. We got more then 500 parasites out which would explain why his belly was so bloated and why he wasn't eating." Dr. Shepherd said as Mackenzie's parents and Captain were shocked to hear that there were more than 500 parasites living inside Mackenzie's stomach. "Come on, I'll take you guys to see him." Dr. Shepherd takes the parents and Captain to see Mackenzie.


Mackenzie's Room:

Dr. Shepherd opens the door to let the parents and Captain in. Mackenzie was lying on the bed with an oxygen tube down his throat and his arm was attached to the IV. Both of his parents and Captain slowly walk up to him. "Hi, My Baby." Mackenzie's mother said in a soft tone to her son holding his hand and petting his head as he could not speaking with the tube down his throat and was confused by the anesthesia which was still in his system. "Hey Mate, Told ya I'd be here when you're done." Captain as he stepped closer to his little buddy. Mackenzie's father walks to the other side of the bed petting his son's shoulder.

"However, I do have some devastating news to share." Dr. Shepherd said walking close to Mackenzie's parents and Captain catching their attention. "So, when we removed all the parasites out. We noticed that the damage to the intestinal wall was very severe. So, Due to that he going to have a feeding tube installed up his nostril from now on." Dr. Shepherd said as Mackenzie's parents and Captain were shocked hearing that the damaged to Mackenzie's intestines were fatal and now having a feeding tube installed was very devastating. "So, He may never eat again?" Captain said worried for Mackenzie. "I'm afraid so." Mackenzie's mother starts to cry hearing that her son may never eat again while her husband walks up to his wife and consoles her.
