Masao was a touch surprised to see that when Hado had spammed the chat with pages of Haku-Kohai and Midoriya-Sensei were both a trending topic.
Midoriya-Sensei he could understand, the media had been talking about him a lot more since he started working at U.A.
Though as Hado detailed in the chat Haku-Kohai had done something big during her first festival and of course linked a video of Haku-Kohai's opening speech.
Which was... something.
He was a touch glad that one of his Kohais had chosen to step up and even defend Midoriya-Sensei even at the risk of their career but was not surprised by Haku-Kohai being the one to have spoken up.
She had been very vocal and open about her admiration of Midoriya-Sensei, so it would only make sense that she would express her discontent to the crowd.
But after reading the wall of texts from Hado Masao saw it was mostly her ranting about the heroes in the stadium before mourning the fact she could not join in on the protest.
Haya and Togata both attempted to comfort her, as well as expressing their own opinions about the protest.

Masao put down his phone and walked over to the bathroom to get ready for the day, he'd be traveling over to the South Side so that he could stay over for a couple of days.
Kaori was certain he needed to see her new toy because she was sure that it was as big as he was.
Besides, it would be nice to see them since it had been so long.
Shuichi unfortunately was not able to bring Kaori over to watch him like last time since he was still dealing with his agoraphobia and the crowded stadium would be too much for him even though he could leave the South Side now.
Finishing Masao grabbed his bags, headed for the door, and switched over to his private chat with Oswald.

Masao put his phone away and only paused to help his landlord with opening a can of paint as he left, she grinned and patted him on his head to thank him.
Swiping through his phone's pictures since Kaori had gotten a hold of Shuichi's phone and sent him over a dozen pictures, including a short video of Shuichi's hair being a mess this morning before he chased her around the apartment to get his phone back.
Masao was glad he was getting his energy back and aside from the scales that had already turned brown his scales were looking better so he must be getting ready to molt soon.
He would need to take a picture of him for his friends, they had all been rather worried when he explained why Shuichi would not be coming with Kaori this year.
Apparently, he was wrong about originally telling his friends about it when Shuichi was originally stabbed, he could have sworn he told them.
Hm, maybe he was just told the people in the South Side and Yaizu?
Cause each of his friends had been very shocked when he reminded them about Shuichi being stabbed and Hado nearly jumped down his throat asking him questions about it.
Hopefully seeing him doing alright would sooth everyone's nerves on the matter.
He supposed he could understand them each being worried and concerned about Shuichi.
Masao was distressed himself over the news, not that it showed with his reptilian face, and he supposed Inu-San would not talk about it with anyone else.
His nerves were settled knowing that Midoriya-Sensei personally fixed Shuichi up and that Midoriya-Sensei also took care of the person that harmed Shuichi himself.
But Masao could not deny that he had lost some of his scales from his own stress molting.
His molting was probably why none of his friends noticed his distress at the time.
His tail swaying was likely put down to his irritation from having to scratch at his peeling scales.
And they might have thought of him being quiet and broody because of that instead of him worrying over Shuichi.
Well, it was not like Masao could blame his friends, he was not an expressive person, and his feelings were not that strong to begin with.
And stabbings were common in the South Side, and he was used to everyone being aware since everyone in his building also knew of what happened to Shuichi.
He might need to think about adapting some sad expressions, perhaps he could ask Oswald to help him develop some?
Or he could ask Shuichi, his face was more expressive than his own, but Shuchi did have a scaled face too.
He was not sure he could remember telling his friends if something else happened, but he would at least make some sad actions for his friends to at least ask what was wrong.
He could not control his tail enough to keep it sagged, he could hold his head in a certain way with his eyes half closed.
That would make his face look closer to sad right?
Emotions were hard to express when one barely felt them in the first place, he it was even harder for Masao to understand how to properly get his own ones across when his were so minuet compared to how the others felt them.
"Mini-Zilla, over here." Oswald called, bringing him out of his thoughts and Masao saw his friend waving a hand high in the air above him.
Walking over he joined Oswald, and they started walking towards his home.
"So, you got any thoughts about what you and your sister are going to do?" Oswald asked as they walked.
Masao shrugged "I plan on letting Kaori and Shuichi make the plans, I'm good to do anything they want to." Masao answered noncommittally.
"Yeah, I guess I'll be helping out at the shop, but I'm hoping to maybe go out and do something with her and Aunt Trinity. Maybe take them down to a beach and surf with them or float on the water." Oswald said in reply.
"Think I remember doing something like that when I was younger, but it could have been just a pond or a lake, I don't remember it all that well." Oswald commented off-handedly.
"Trinity-San would like that, she mentioned liking the sea before." Masao informed his friend.
Oswald nodded with a grunt.
"Ani-Chan!" Came a yell and Masao knelt to catch the small bundle of joy that charged at him directly.
Said bundle was his sister Kaori and she was about as excited as she always was whenever he came home now and was now bouncing in his arms with her giggling.
Kaori's two friends Kiku and Aki were both much more restrained in their own greetings to him.
"Hi Masao-San! You did really good in the festival this year." Aki said while waving.
"Hello Miyake-San it's good to see you again." Kiku greeted.
"Cute kids, see you later Mini-Zilla. I'll skip the introductions to go see mom." Oswald told him and then walked on without him and on to his mother's shop.
"Bye-bye Oz-Chan! Ani-Chan will see you later for ice cream!" Kaori shouted back, nearly falling out of his arms trying to wave to Oswald.
"Kaori you don't need to shout." Masao stated readjusting his hold in her.
"Don't care, now come on Ani-Chan, Igu-Chan has today off and we're going to spend all day together." Kaori said tugging on his shirt trying to make him move even though it really would not do much.
"I understand, Kiku-Kun, Aki-Chan are you coming with us?" Masao asked with his head tilted.
"Sorry Masao-San but no, Ricki got me an appointment at the clinic and Kiku-Chan has to go walk Taka, we were just waiting for you with Kaori-Chan." Aki answered.
"Okay see you later then." Masao replied with a nod before he started walking on to their apartment.
"I'm so happy you're staying for a couple of days Ani-Chan! It feels like forever since I last saw you, and with Igu-Chan working now he can't play with me as much anymore." Kaori told him.
Masao thrilled.
"So, you don't like Shuichi working?" Masao asked.
"No, he's been much happier and not getting sick as much, but he's tired when he comes home so I just play with his hair, which is pretty fun too." Kaori told him.
"I'd still play with his hair even if it got boring, it was kind of scary when Igu-Chan was sick, he'd just look at the wall for a long time and sleep too much." Kaori added, her energy draining when she thought of it.
"Kaori?" Masao said feeling a touch concerned with how quiet she was.
"Ani-Chan, do you think I'll ever look normal? Like you and Igu-Chan and Papa." Kaori asked him.
Masao blinked.
"I don't know, why do you ask?" Masao inquired, cause Kaori had asked about when she would grow scales like them before, but there was something more troubling in her tone this time.
Kaori remained silent as she curled up in his arms half burying her face in his chest.
"Kaori?" Masao repeated.
"I looked for some papers in Igu-Chan's room for one I could draw on, and I found one with the person that hurt Igu-Chan on it." Kaori confessed after another minute of silence then she started tearing up.
"I don't like looking like her Ani-Chan, I want to look like you and Igu-Chan and Papa, I don't want to scare Igu-Chan with my eyes anymore." Kaori told him as she started sniffling and Masao at a loss for words just did his best to sooth his sister by hugging her and thrilling.
He had not seen a picture of the person who hurt Shuichi, so he was not sure how to assure her, and from the sounds of it, Kaori already scared Shuichi once before.
He would need to ask Shuichi for more details, including how Kaori had gotten ahold of the files in the first place.
He would need to teach Shuichi how to hide things better as well.
"Kaori you don't scare him. Memories of scary things are simply hard to put to rest; you remember how you jump whenever you smell smoke? It's like that Kaori." Masao told her and it did seem to help a little.
And he was able to comfort her a bit more as he walked home.
