Chapter 1: The Dragon Dojo in Ruins
At the Tekken game, we see both Eddy and Lidia are reunited and learning that he was still seeking revenge on Kazuya Mishima. Lidia was disappointed because the seventh tournament was cancelled for unknown circumstances and Heihachi's sudden disappearance. Daigo finally came to visit her to inform about what happened to the Street Fighter game.
"What!? Your sister has been taken?"
"That's right... the enemy who took my sister was not on this game or in the Street Fighter game where I came in within their fifth game. I've never seen our adversary can even beat Zaki so fast."
"Hmmm... he must be a fighter like us. I sensed that he was a real threat." Lidia said noticing about the new enemy which Eddy response.
"Come to think of it, he's like Negan but he can swing his baseball bat filled with bob wires. We are agile fighters to take down our opponents."
"Daigo, I will accompany you to save your sister. I never seen a big guy like you who let me win in this fight." Lidia said decided to help Daigo to rescue his sister which he accepts.
"Sure... Both Ryu and Jin are amused to see us fight. But now we are allies."
"Look after Lidia, big guy." Eddy said nicely while speaking to his Brazilian language to Daigo which he nods.
Back at the Game World Station, they are met by Koji Masuda who gives information about the Double Dragon fighting game which was attacked by their new adversary. Koji accompanies both of them to the Double Dragon fighting game and they arrived at the Bloody Town.
"This game is a lot like from Ryu's game within the second Street Fighter. I've never seen their game before." Daigo wondered as Lidia recognized the game itself while speaking in her native Polish language.
"I played this game as a child. Originally, this is a beat em up and shooting game. The Lee brothers are known to use Sousetsuken and can hit opponents with their weaponry. But this game, I haven't heard of this before."
"Basically, it was a Neo-Geo version of Double Dragon and that fighting game was based on the movie. I wanted to face one of the Lee brothers in their game if the arcade is close and one of the trainers told me that the brothers just left and face an old adversary. And now this town became dilapidated." Koji said telling them both. "That fighting game is the last arcade game to be produced and the company behind this game had went out of business."
Arriving at the Dragon Dojo and they learned that they are in ruins. They quickly rushed to get inside and they found a brunette young man who was severely injured caused by brutal beatings in a fight and Daigo recognizes the same injuries from Zaki.
"Mr. Masuda who was he?"
"He's Jimmy Lee... the older twin brother of Billy Lee and one of the Lee brothers. He's seriously injured." Koji said confirming that the man was Jimmy and Lidia makes an emergency call to send a medic."
"I called the medic and they are waiting at my game. We must take him to the Tekken game right away."
Back at the Tekken game, Jimmy soon awakens from his unconsciousness and was hospitalized and to his surprise that the other fighters from their respective games are present.
"Where's the blond man who looked like my brother! Ughh..."
"Take it easy, young man... you were in the Tekken game at least your injuries are gonna recover from their advance medical technology." Koji said giving concern to the fighter and Lidia easily knows him because he's from a Double Dragon game."
"You must be a Sousetsuken practitioner am I right...? And you currently running the dojo. I was wondering if you can wield weapons?"
"No... I never wield weapons... Why do you ask?" Jimmy answered which Lidia soon asks who attacked him.
"Can you tell me who attacked you and ravaged the Dragon Dojo?"
"That guy who looked like my younger twin brother which is Billy. He has the red mark of the fire breathing dragon on his back. Despite I was more focus on both offense and defense, he just beat me brutally." Jimmy said recognizing who he was and Daigo knows who he is.
"This is what the silver guy and Kou was talking about. I overheard their conversations when they are speaking at the Game World Station, they called him the long blond guy in jumpers. The guy's name is Dauragon C. Mikado. He's from the Bouncer game and currently their codes were added on the Fighting Force game which was on the Wi-Fi."
"Wi-Fi? I see... Jin is speaking to other fighters who were close to him after he had traveled to that Wi-Fi." Eddy said reminiscing in how Jin tells to Lars, Alisa and Xiaoyu about his travel in the Wi-Fi."
"What's he looked like Daigo? That Dauragon guy?" Lidia asked which Daigo smiles.
"These two who called him the long blond in jumpers which is Dauragon, it was their jab and bad remark about him. If Jimmy Lee was saying that Dauragon looks like his brother Billy, he is... he's a short blond guy with long bangs in a purple trenchcoat and overalls. And he's saying that he has a red dragon tattoo on his back that would mean he has the strength of the yakuza and most likely a powerful offensive fighter. Most yakuzas like Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza game, they always had different tattoos on their backs and they can fight both weapons and fists."
"Did you try beat that Dauragon person, Jimmy?" Lidia asked in a serious tone which he confirms.
"We tried to fight equally in his base form until when he took off the straps of his overalls to reveal the red tattoo on his back. I also think Billy had tried fighting him in the battle against speed."
Return at the Game World Station, both Daigo and Lidia are now in different outfits and they decided to go to the Wi-Fi in order to rescue his sister Akira.
"Daigo... it was my first time to go to the Wi-Fi. Jin says that it was bigger than this station we came in."
"Yeah it is... The Surge protector is still present so we need to wait before we sneak into the Wi-Fi." Daigo said observing around the Game World Station until Jimmy arrives while being accompanied by Koji.
"You two... Jimmy decided to join with you on your mission. He told me everything about how their dojo was in ruins. Billy and Rebecca Brielle are captured by the same adversaries who captures your sister and at the same time other fighters in his game are also tried battling the soldiers to save it."
"If you're gonna come with us... why don't you show your moves? Since the original Double Dragon game is a beat up game and this Double Dragon game you came in is from the Neo-Geo version." Daigo said wanting to know of Jimmy's moves.
"Are you serious, Daigo?" Lidia reacted as Jimmy giggles on both of them.
"You see the big man was right... I actually don't show my moves to a lot of fighters from other fighting games. And I'm sure you know all of this."
Jimmy charges with a powerful aura and Daigo seemingly recognizes the moves and he unleashes Soushuga that resembles the close version of the Hadoken. Then he performs Rekku Ha, a reverse version of Shoryuken and the Ryubisen which is the Ryubi Senpukyaku.
"Oh my God! A Rip off to the Ansatsuken Martial Arts." Daigo remarked surprisingly and Lidia was amused to see his performance.
"I'm amused... Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter game will be praised by those moves."
"If Billy is quick and agile, I'm focus more on the offensive. The only difference if we perform our supers. If Billy executes Koryu Geki Ha which resembled a Shinku Hadoken while mine... is the Shoryu Reppa." Jimmy said smirking to see them both and he soon performs his super finishing move, Senku Ha which is a reverse version of the Shoryu Reppa and Daigo was shocked to see him perform.
"Man... Lidia maybe right about this... both Ryu and Ken will be so thrilled and happy to see you Lee brothers do it."
"The only difference about those two you meant about, we can transform ourselves in our stronger forms, Soryu Tensho!" Jimmy transforms himself in two red and blue dragon aura to cover himself and unveiling his outfit in a form of full clad red gi in a gold trim and brown leather boots and his aura was enhanced in gold.
"Now that's full gear." Daigo commented nicely until Koji remarks him.
"You should have used that sooner if you get brutally incapacitated by Dauragon in your base form. Maybe when you tried transforming into that form, Dauragon just immediately attacked you right away because he knew that he will become so weak."
Jimmy remembers that when he attempting to transform by using Soryu Tensho, it was interrupted by Dauragon who immediately beats him brutally. He felt upset because of he was given an unfair fight, he soon reverts back to his base form to reveal his casual clothes.
"I want to get a rematch clause with that Dauragon guy. And I must rescue Billy and Rebecca. I also made a promise to Rebecca's father to protect her despite she was a fighter like us."
"Welcome to the group, Jimmy... I'm about to show my karate skills to beat those men."
"I guess your one of us to save our friends." Daigo said smirking and Jimmy joins them to go to the Wi-Fi.
As soon as the arcade is now close, Edge, Jo and Goro Majima are trying to distract the Surge protector, long enough for Daigo, Lidia and Jimmy to get through the Wi-Fi while being accompanied by Ichiban Kasuga who had been allied with Kazuma Kiryu and his allies from the Yakuza game and it reveals that Daigo has been in contact with Kazuma since.
"Are you saying that Mr. Kiryu had already get through the Wi-Fi? At least Jin doesn't know that I had connections with you guys because I'm the legendary gang leader and leader of all the gangs in Gedo High School."
"No problemo, Daigo. He went alone in the Wi-Fi because he has a bad blood with that blond guy in overalls. He's also responsible for taking my love away which is Sa-chan." Ichiban said as Goro gives them the signal. "Okay, move now!"
With that, Daigo, Lidia and Jimmy finally get through the Wi-Fi and Daigo simply knows how to travel there.
Trivia:
*Eddy Gordo made his appearance in this chapter and it reveals that he reunites his old friend Lidia since it was depicted in the Unforgotten Echoes DLC in Tekken 8.
*Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon (Neo-Geo) made his debut and his injuries are a lot like Tracey's Scyther in his debut in Pokemon.
*Jimmy's new outfit is a blend between the color scheme and casual outfit from his film counterpart.
*Koji Masuda from the defunct fighting game Ehrgeiz also serves as a supporting character to both Daigo and Lidia as Wolf Girl Jo made a cameo to aid both Edge and Goro Majima.
*This chapter is also the debut of the characters of the Yakuza series now known as the Like a Dragon series and Daigo is revealed to have contact and connections with Kazuma Kiryu, the main protagonist of Like a Dragon game series and became acquaintance with Ichiban Kasuga.
*Daigo's new updated outfit is the combination between both his normal and wild forms and is derived from Jotaro Kujo in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and his white T-shirt is replaced with a gray henley T-shirt.
*Lidia's both corporate jacket and jeans will later incorporated into her corporate outfit in Tekken 8 which serves as her default 3 outfit.
