Rinko sighed as she stared down at her list of names; some she recognized, others she didn't, which should have been natural with a list of almost a hundred names.

Any of them she knew were at the stadium she immediately crossed out because she didn't want anything to do with them.

Most of her class had the same idea and were sitting at one of the courtyards after school let out, all of them going over which heroes they recognized in the stands, and that cut out decent-sized chunks of people from their lists.

They were even joined by the three remaining students from 1-B because she asked/invited them too at lunch.

The rest of the names on their lists, though...

Rinko groaned as she let her head hit the table she was sitting at.

Predictably, it was a situation that most of her classmates were facing since they, too, were having doubts about who they should be going with.

She wanted to ask Deku-Sensei, but she knew he was busy and wasn't sure if asking him today would be possible.

"Perhaps we could research them on our own?" Akiko suggested, but Kita scoffed, putting his head in one hand.

"And how are we supposed to do that genius? Most people ain't going to list their political swinging on their home page." Kita pointed out, his face scrunching up and searching around in his 'hair' until he found a bug and tossed it away.

Goldman nodded, agreeing with Kita, who huffed in response.

"I know you really like your 'not talking' schtick, but you could be a bit more helpful, Mister already got a mentor." Kita told Goldman, making the other boy look away.

Rinko shot him a look.

Goldman and Gromova were both rather lucky to have gotten heroes on their lists, ones they didn't need to think about picking, but Kita didn't need to rub it in everyone's faces.

Goldman got an offer from Hawks, which was fantastic, and Gromova would be interning with Mic-Sensei since he knew English and could help her with the sound part of her quirk.

"Maybe we could ask around the kids in the years ahead of us? They might have a better idea of these people if they worked with them before." Kage offered, making some of the class perk up.

"We could, but who'd still be on campus and where? This place is huge." Yokino asked, causing the excitement to deflate.

Rinko frowned and tried to think of any of their Sempais still here and nearby.

Gromova's ears flicked up suddenly as an idea came to her and she quickly took Chen's talkie and typed something into the output.

"Machida told me she overheard from her sempais about a group of students from 2-A that stayed late at the field. The one we tested our quirks on the first day." the box told them, reigniting their excitement.

"Really? Let's go ask them then." Rinko exclaimed, grabbing her list and bag.

The combined group of hero students then marched over to the field, only having to stop when she had one of her spells, but then Yokino picked her up in a piggyback to keep going.

Thankfully, once they were close enough, Gromova confirmed they were getting close since she could hear people talking, and minutes later, they saw a group of five or so people training on the field.

Rinko's vision had returned enough by that point for her to see that the long-haired girl noticed them from where she was... hovering? Was practicing hovering on yellow spirals and was now running over to them.

"Hi little Kohais!~ What are you doing here? Are you looking for some help with your internship choices?" The energetic girl said.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Kita questioned.

The girl snorted and turned around to the other girl.

"See Yuyu-Chan! I told you our Kohais would be smart enough to try and ask us for help!" the girl cheerfully proclaimed before she turned back to them.

"Just in case you guys don't know, I'm Hado, but you can just call me Nejire-Sempai, and these are my friends Mirio-Chan, Yuyu-Chan, Jiki-Chan, and Masao-Chan." Nejire-Sempai introduced everyone to each other.

She pointed to the relevant people as she named them.

"And we'll be more than happy to help you guys pick out the right mentors now show us your lists then, come on, come on." Nejire-Sempai encouraged all but bouncing in place.

Kita was the first to hand his over, and they watched her scan the list, not even questioning the names already crossed out, stopping at one point to ask "Oh yeah, what branch of heroics do you want to do? Or are you looking to learn something specific during your internship?" Nejire-Sempai asked.

"Oh, um, more control over my spores would be nice?" Kita answered, shrugging.

Nejire-Sempai nodded looking more determined as she scanned his list.

"Ah, you should totally go with this one, this is Para-Dome-Sensei's agency ghost name." Nejire-Sempai excitedly told him.

"Really? Dude that would be perfect!" Kita exclaimed himself happily taking back his paper.

"What's an agency ghost name?" Chen asked, using her talkie.

"It's something that Ms. Joke told me about during my internship; Underground heroes used them since they need to keep their agencies on the down low to keep them from being attacked by villains and the like." Nejire-Sempai explained to them.

"Oh, cool." Kita commented.

Kage was the next to step up and let Nejire-Sempai read through their list.

Masao-Sempai also stepped up to help them with their choices, waving the others off to keep training.

Helping them pick the right people to intern with until it was her turn and Masao-Sempai blankly stared at her list, making the weird kind of was, kind of not a purr lizards do, thrilling she thought it was called.

"I think Best Jeanest would be your best pick, but I think you should speak with our friend Oswald-San about him first since he interned with him last year to get a better feel for if you want to work with him." Masao-Sempai suggested.

"Okay, is he still on campus?" Rinko asked.

Masao-Sempai nodded.

"He's at another training ground right now, I can bring you to him if you'd like?" Masao-Sempai offered.

"Oh, yeah, that would be nice if it isn't that big of a problem for you." Rinko told him, and Masao-Sempai handed back her list.

"It is not a problem; I need to practice my long-stride running while carrying people." Masao-Sempai informed her to get onto all fours and knelt down so she could climb onto his back.

"Oh, um, okay?" Rinko muttered as she carefully climbed onto Masao-Sempai's back, careful not to slip and a little worried about how to keep a solid hold on Masao-Sempai and not fall off him.

"I'll join you later Masao-Chan! Once I'm done with these guys, I want to go train with Oz-Chan too!" Nejire-Sempai exclaimed, waving to her as Masao-Sempai stood up.

Not a moment later, Masao-Sempai was running, and Rinko was forced to cling to his back and close her eyes because of the wind pressure.

Masao-Sempai occasionally turned, and she needed to adjust for that, and after what felt like a few minutes Masao-Sempai slowed to a stop, his chest heaving.

"We're... almost there, need a minute." he informed her, Rinko took the moment to look around and her mouth almost dropped when she saw gym Omega since that was on the other side of campus.

Wow, Masao-Sempai was really something else if he could almost cross the school grounds in one go.

Rinko wasn't able to think about this long as Masao-Sempai started running again and she was forced to close her eyes and hang on again.

When they did arrive, she sort of just rolled off of Masao-Sempai and lay on the ground.

She hadn't tried horse riding before, but if that was anything like riding Masao-Sempai, then she didn't think she liked it.

"Is there a reason you brought a half-conscious girl to me Mini-Zilla? Cause I don't think Master-Sensei would be cool if we moved up to actual cannibalism." A boy said.

Rinko forced herself to sit up and shook her head, seeing the bright pink boy she remembered from last year's festival.

"Hi, I'm Haku, I was asking for help with-" Rinko said trying to introduce herself but the guy waved her off.

"You want to know what interning with BJ will be like, I know. The man-eater texted me once you guys left, I was just fucking with Mini-Zilla." the pinkette explained then he extended a tendril of his pink hair.

He wrapped it around her wrist and brought her up to her feet, her legs wobbling slightly, making her feel embarrassed that she could not stand up after a quick ride.

"Don't worry about your legs being weak, everyone's legs turn to jelly after their first time riding Mini-Zilla, more surprised you can stand at all." the boy told her, Masao-Sempai apparently didn't like this comment and hit him on the back of the head with his tail.

The boy scoffed, rubbing the back of his head "Okay, it's a fair cop on that one." he told Masao-Sempai.

"Right, so um, your Oswald-Sempai?" Rinko asked to confirm since Oswald sounded more like a first name rather than a last name.

"Yep, and you're the girl that told off the heroes." Oswald-Sempai replied, and Rinko laughed nervously as she rubbed her neck.

"Alright, the first thing about working with BJ is that he'll be super anal about your clothes and hair; I was spared most of it since he couldn't run a brush through a wad of taffy." Oswald-Sempai explained to her, pointing to his hair.

"Most of the time, he takes on problem cases and people, so be prepared to deal with that shit 'cause you'll have to sit through it too." Oswald-Sempai added, then he walked back to a bench to grab a water bottle.

Oswald-Sempai sat down and took a drink from his bottle.

"He was a decent teacher for controlling my hair, but I won't be going back to him since we didn't really mesh well personality-wise," Oswald-Sempai told her.

"He can be a bit of a tight-wad too, but that might be more how I saw his ocd-ass, but he'd be good to learn a bunch of lime-light licker things if you're looking to go into that branch of heroics." Oswald-Sempai informed her.

"Okay, that's good to know," Rinko muttered, rubbing one of her arms.

Oswald-Sempai raised an eye at her. "Something wrong, whistleblower?" Oswald-Sempai asked.

"Well, just what you said got me thinking about why he'd reach out to me." Rinko answered with a shrug.

Bullet-Sensei had warned them that some people might try to curve her headstrongness, and even a few might try to get her to change her mind on the quirkless.

Which Bullet-Sensei was right since some of the people in the stadium sent her offers.

"He probably wants to give you media advice, you have already made quite a name for yourself Haku-Kohai." Masao-Sempai said.

Oswald-Sempai nodded.

"He would, it was one of the things he harped on to us when I did my internship with him." Oswald-Sempai confirmed.

"Oh, well Bullet-Sensei already talked to me about that." Rinko informed them.

"Yeah, but BJ can tell you a bunch of the shit that will actually come up and explain more about it than Bullet-Sensei, she was an underground and wasn't lime-light like BJ is." Oswald-Sempai countered.

"Ah, I guess he might." Rinko conceded.

Bullet-Sensei, as great as she was, she probably wouldn't be the best person to ask for advice on being comforting to people, since she was really gruff.

"I'll need to think about it, are there any other people on my list that you would recommend Masao-Sempai?" Rinko asked, looking back over the names on her list.

Masao-Sempai sat with her talking over a few other options before offering to help her get back to the main entrance gate so that she could get home at a decent time after checking the time on his phone.

Rinko accepted, then she and Oswald-Sempai climbed onto Masao-Sempai's back then raced back to the entrance.
