The room was full of tension, Haruki-San, Shuzenji and Torino certain of what exactly had happened other than what Sir had done was enough for Izuku to explode on the man.

Sir looking distinctly ruffled under the collar, all four of them staring at Izuku silently comforted Yagi who had a mental breakdown during Izuku's rant.

"I think," Nezu tentatively spoke breaking the silence.

"It would be best if we all take a moment to breath, perhaps a ten-minute break would be best." Nezu advised the group.

"The bathroom maybe? Or a smoke break?" Nezu suggested moving to unlock the room.

Even when the room was fully unlocked no one moved, not at first anyway, then Haruki-San stood using hero-sign.

'Come on. A-M, and D-E-K-U need a moment. Alone.' She told them.

Torino pursed his lips and Shuzenji scowled, but the two complied standing up and moving to the door. Sir though required a bit more convincing as Haruki-San gripped Sir's shoulder, finally getting the man to stand and leave with her.

Alone with the two-toes Nezu walked away from his the controls for the room after locking it down once again and over to the two.

Nezu wanted to chirp but controlled himself, Yagi would not be as forgiving of his more animal side.

"Midoriya... are you and Yagi-San alright?" Nezu asked, Izuku looked to where he was.

Izuku's eyes half-lidded and his lips pulled down with his shoulders from how tired he was, mentally speaking, he sighed shifting Yagi a bit so that they would both be more comfortable.

"We will, with time." Izuku answered.

Nezu allowed his false cheer to be dropped and asked: "May I... ask how serious what Sir Nighteye did was?"

The 'to a two-toes' being left unsaid as Izuku bit his lip.

"I'm... weird for a quirkless person Nezu. Quirks do not bother me like the others because I really love them and the science behind them but," Izuku began to explain only to pause as he thought over his next words.

"But for most of us, for people like Yagi, having the people we think are our friends use their quirks on us when we tell them not to just... they feel violated." Izuku said trying to convey the seriousness to Nezu, though not as heated since the source of his ire was not here in the room.

"Sure, part of it is the trust thing but from what most people have told me, it physically makes them ill after it happens, it's a very easy trigger for a lot of quirkless people to have a quirk used on them when they weren't expecting it." Izuku added, sadness filling his eyes.

Nezu lowered his head, able to read between the lines easily, catching Izuku's true meaning.

For two-toes having someone use their quirk on them without permission was, in many ways comparable to sexual assault.

Considering the shared trauma most two-toes would have with being abused by various quirks, an unspoken but community wide rule about having explicit permission before using any quirk on a two-toes would be quite understandable.

Having a quirk used on you unexpectedly could be very unnerving, Nezu certainly would have his skin crawling if someone did it even in an emergency, and if they used their quirk on him when he specifically told them not to...

Nezu's ears folded back.

Yes... Izuku's reaction to learning that Sir had crossed such a big line was very much warranted.

Especially with the circumstances in which Sir used his quirk, right after Yagi nearly died on the table and just fought his greatest enemy.

Even though his friend was not a fan of Yagi, Izuku could not ignore such a grave misdeed being done to someone like that.

"Is there anything I can get for Yagi-San?" he offered, wanting to help soothe the man.

Izuku's eyes flicked over to Yagi before returning to Nezu.

"Maybe a shock blanket, the texture might help him reconnect to the present." Izuku suggested, not as certain.

Nezu understood where it came from, neither of them had any idea what Yagi really needed at the moment to comfort himself.

Still Nezu grabbed a blanket out from his desk and helped Izuku drape it over Yagi's shoulders.

The man tensing, relaxing a touch as he pulled away from Izuku to examine the blanket placed on him, running a hand over the material, and examining it.

"I, thank you for... standing up for me Dr. Midoriya but that wasn't-" Yagi tried to say but Izuku stopped him.

"If you say it 'wasn't necessary' I will stab you Yagi." Izuku warned glaring at the man, making Yagi gulp.

"I believe what Midoriya-San is trying to say Yagi-San, is that you shouldn't feel like you need to accommodate others by repressing your trauma." Nezu said, giving more clarity to the man for what Izuku meant to say.

"Trauma? I'm, I am not-" Yagi tried to protest only for Izuku reveal a second knife matching the one he threw at Sir earlier, a knife the was still stuck in his wall.

"Yagi-San, your mental health is very important, not only for your own good but for your successor." Nezu told the man, hoping to engage Yagi in a helpful conversation.

Mainly because he would rather not have to deal with the nightmare PR storm of having Izuku stabbing the country's golden retriever of a hero.

Yagi looked ready to argue but Nezu was quick to jump in.

"Yagi-San, we don't know how long it will take for the past wielders to be able to speak with the ninth, and until that time they will need to lean on you for support as the only person they can turn to that will understand what they'll be going through." Nezu slowly explained for the man.

Making sure to lean on the 'they'll need you' angle since that would be more helpful in this situation, Izuku had admitted to him that he was not proactive in protecting himself until it started to bother the people that he cared about.

The same would likely be true for Yagi.

"The ninth will likely look to you for guidance, and it will be much easier to help them if your own mental health is stable as well." Nezu calmly told Yagi.

Nezu took out a pen and paper, writing down a few numbers before offering the paper to Yagi.

"These are the numbers for a few trusted psychologists, one's that specifically works with professional heroes, half of them also work with people who wish to remain anonymous, so if you want them to only know you by either of your names you can." Nezu informed the man.

"I would personally, and strongly, recommend the first two numbers since the first one belongs to a woman who has a quirk that physically prevents her from revealing anyone's secrets without permission and the second to a man that only remembers your sessions when you meet with him." Nezu detailed for Yagi.

Both of the people Nezu mentioned were former students that graduated from U.A. during his teaching years and whose quirks he could personally testify to being iron-clad.

Yagi stared at the list with a certain amount of unease, clearly not thrilled with the idea and was going to turn it down only for his shoulders to hunch up, like he was being yelled at by someone.

"... Thank you, Nezu-San, I will consid- Really think about looking for a therapist." Yagi said, taking the list as an afterthought.

Nezu blinked before he remembered that the past wielders were able to communicate with Yagi in real time and were clearly telling Yagi to take the list.

Nezu nodded his head and smiled in the human way.

"That would be for the best Yagi-San. Mental health has become a very serious issue with the younger generations of heroes and having you seeing someone will greatly help ninth, they too will need someone to talk to too, and it shall help if you can comfort them in this area as well." Nezu encouraged the man.

Yagi grimaced and looked away from him.

Nezu looked towards his friend for help, Izuku looked resigned to Yagi's responses and quietly gestured for Nezu not to worry.

"Speaking of Yagi, there is something else Nezu-San and I wanted to speak to you about." Izuku mentioned, bringing his presence back to Yagi's attention.

"What else could you want to talk to me about?" Yagi asked, confused as his eyes blinked a few times.

"Well, assuming that you won't be able to maintain using Inheritance for as long once you transfer it to ninth, we'll need a cover story for your decrease in patrolling." Izuku brought up and Yagi's eyes widened as much as they could.

"I... didn't think about that." Yagi muttered, slightly taken aback and being honest about not having considered that before.

"And should we pick either Amajiki or Hado to be the ninth, we shall also need a cover story for why you are spending so much time here at U.A." Nezu pointed out to the man.

"Ah, yes, yes... " Yagi said under his breath as his gaze fell down to his hands.

"Nezu and I have spoken about this, and we believe that there is a relatively easy way to explain everything to the public with minimal risk to everyone involved." Izuku told Yagi, the man's head whipping up to look and Izuku.

"You have?" Yagi asked, surprised.

Nezu nodded his head and clapped his paws.

"Indeed Yagi-San!" Nezu confirmed, motioning for Izuku to get the contract, his friend would know where he kept it.

"Please do not take this the wrong way, I do not wish to be insulting but you are well past the age of retirement for most of the heroes of your generation." Nezu began his pitch.

Yagi winced at the reminder, his hand rubbing circles into the other hand.

"So, no one would bat an eye if you were to announce you'd be stepping back from being full-time and instead working part-time as you begin your transition to eventual retirement in a few years," Izuku described as he walked over to Nezu's desk.

"To begin taking the first steps to your new career in teaching the new generations of heroes, say as a teaching assistant at your old school U.A as you work towards your teaching license?" Izuku said bringing the contract to Yagi.

Yagi blind-sided stared at the contract, his mouth opening an inch or so before looking between Izuku and Nezu.

"Of course, you'd need to actually enroll in a teaching course, it wouldn't do well for the students to have an undereducated teacher, but Midoriya-San and I have full faith that you will be able to graduate in your own time with the online course Izuku has helped to find for you." Nezu promised, waving his paw dismissively.

Yagi, being overwhelmed by all of this information being dropped on him simply took the contract and continued to look between him, Izuku and the contract.

"You don't need to answer right away, you can take your time to think about taking this job, and I would strongly recommend reading through the contract before signing anything and be sure you are really comfortable with the idea of working here." Izuku advised Yagi, with the same tone he used when he was counseling students.

"But won't me working here put the students at risk? All For One will think that I've found a successor in one of the students, wouldn't he?" Yagi brought up, worried and unsure of himself.

"That was a risk Midoriya-San and I talked about at length," Nezu told Yagi.

Well, they spoke of it for five minutes but that was a long enough talk between himself and Izuku.

"And while it would be an unavoidable danger of you working here, it is not one we can't prepare for." Nezu said, Izuku nodding in agreement.

"You should have more faith in your peers too, they might not be as powerful as yourself, but they can handle themselves quite well in a fight." Izuku added.

"I... shall think about it." Yagi conceded his eyes falling down to the contract in his hands.
