vbThis is getting a surprising amount of views over 900 in fact kind of surprising all things considered especially since we're only in the OG dragon ball stage but hey I ain't complaining I can only imagine the hype when we get to Z.
Anyway hope you enjoy this chapter and it will be the finale of the emperor Pilaf saga/Dragon ball hunt (just gotta conclude the current plot and the eventual battle for the wish.)
And final note the fust of Cain will be in over their heads as they'll soon find out so if you expected this to have a darker more bleak situation that won't be the case.
Age 749 (Bludhaven outside the hotel.)
"Alright let's get out of Bludhaven before our luck runs out." Bulma said as they walked towards the car.
"Yeah its best we leave and finish off our quest as much as I wish to liberate the city from its blight." Diana replied.
"Man I can't wait to see what this dragon looks like!" Goku added.
"Yeah Shenron will surely be a sight to behold." Oolong agreed.
"The cities much more lively now!" Goku said as he looked at the many people now in the streets going on with their daily business.
"Well it is day time so its generally safer right now." Bulma replied as they walked to where the car was supposed to be.
"Uh Bulma where did you park this car exactly?" Diana asked concerned as they had walked for a while now.
"Yeah you didn't leave it out in the open did you?" Oolong added.
"Uh..." Bulma started nervously.
"You left the car out on the street what were you thinking!" Diana yelled exasperated.
"There was no where else to park! Besides I planted a tracking device on the bottom of the car we can track down the thief and show them what's for a bunch of petty criminals won't be a problem anyway you need to relax sometimes."
"Lucky you did otherwise we'd be walking to the next dragon ball!" Oolong yelled.
"Oh go can it porky!" Bulma replied.
"So which ways the car?" Goku asked looking on Bulma's phone that she connected to the device as she checked it.
"Its around 3km away give or take." Bulma replied.
(I'm Aussie btw so don't complain especially since most of the world uses the metric system.)
Diana sighed "Alright then let's go and rectify this mistake then."
Oolong scowled in annoyance. "Mistake is a understatement this was a terrible blunder like next time park it in front of the hotel or use on of those fancy gadgets!"
"Stop complaining then and let's go!" Bulma replied as the group walked towards the location of their stolen car.
(Yamcha and Puar's POV.)
"Still can't believe these idiots went to Bludhaven of all cities!" Yamcha complained.
"Probably the only city on the way to the nest dragon ball." Puar replies logically.
"Yeah but they could have left before nightfall and we would be at the damn ball by now! And did you see how many criminals came out just to steal that car? Somethings fishy here Puar."
"Guess you have a point but what do you think it is?" Puar asked.
"I have a feeling its some sought of trap what kind I don't know how they plan to trap those lot considering they can tank missiles besides Bulma but you never know." Yamcha responded pondering who would want to lure them in.
"There are a lot of unfriendly groups infesting this city how could we possible figure out who it is?"
"Well Puar I've been contacted by my fair share of criminal circles and I may have a clue on who we're dealing with."
"Why you?"
"I'm far stronger than a normal human and I'm a somewhat known criminal that's bound to garner some attention."
"Alright hotshot who is it then?" Puar said with a snarky tone.
"This might seem like a shot in the dark but that group has the famous daughter of one of the richest companies in the world a bipedal pigman a warrior princess and a boy with a monkey tail and a weird pole pretty peculiar group right?"
"Yeah so what? Anyone can spot that from a mile away."
"Well Puar I was approached via phone call by a group a while back a cult known as Die Faust Der Kain also known as the Fist of Cain I'll spare you the details but from what I was told they take pleasure in finding 'interesting people' To kill what ever that means point is they are far more interesting than anything they normal go after so I have a feeling their using the car to lure them in for the trap."
"You think they've been tracking them since they entered the city?" Puar questioned.
"With how infamously corrupt the local police are the cult probably has control of the whole city at this point anything is possible."
"Yamcha what will we so then?" Puar asked.
"We'll need to help them out because if they die now we'll never get the dragon balls."
(Fist of Cain base.)
"So Macabre did they take the bait?" A girl with short white hair and a bulkier build asked scornfully.
"As a matter of fact yes they did dirty!" Macabre replied.
"Its Dirty girl you skinny shit!" Dirty Girl yelled.
Macabre chuckled "Still sounds like something said between two lovers you know like how some guys call them dirty girls and other sought of names?"
Dirty Girl smirked "And how would you know that? Wonder what you've been watching."
"Oh please I don't have time for that crap!" Macabre said "In actuality I heard it while I was hunting a couple down they were real freaky too if you know what I mean."
Dirty Girl rolled her eyes "Cause you would be peeping."
"Silence both of you!" A man with orange hair a beard and a pair of sunglasses cut in walking over to them.
"Shut it carrot stick!" Dirty Girl snarled as she got up and faced the man.
"Yeah Adam stop being such a dickhead will yah?" Macabre added.
"Lot of nerve you two have considering the rags you decide to wear at least I have class." Adam Reed replied mockingly.
The other two scowled at him until another man walked into the room while he looked old and frail the other three looked at him with admiration and reverence as they knelt in respect.
"Your here Christian and where would blockbuster be by chance?" Adam asked his leader.
"Well as much as I enjoy the spoils of murder and plundering Blockbuster is currently in a rather agitated mood and I don't want him killing all of us after one of you rile him up."
"You do have the inhibitors on him right?" Dirty Girl asked fearfully.
"Yes of course!" Christian Fleischer replied.
Everyone sighed in relief whilst a few cult members random criminals walked into the room to hear the plans they had for them.
"So what's the plan boss? Those lot are more than meets the eye." Macabre said as they others besides Christian looked at him surprised.
"Their just some kids a hooker and a pig right?" Adam asked.
"Oh no they way more I overheard them in the hotel when I spied on them lucky I didn't attack, their all Superhuman besides the blue haired one who isn't a hooker by the way they can throw cars destroy buildings and all that crap I already told the boss this before I got in here." Macabre replied.
"Indeed you did and yes if what you told me is true I have a large group of cultists ready for action besides the ones we have here and also rallied some other criminals from around the city." Christian gestured to the men behind him.
"Well if I get these kills I'll stay at the top of the leader board for sure!" Adam Reed said confidently.
"Oh please I'll be on top again in no time!" Dirty Girl retorted.
"Blockbuster surpassed almost everyone within a month of being here in terms of points who cares?" Macabre scoffed in response.
"He has super powers doesn't count!" Adam replied.
"Enough bickering or I'll deduct five points from all of you! And you know what happens if you drop to zero." Christian finished coldly as everyone gulped in fear at what would happen.
"Now that were done with that read through this and get into positions from what so sources told me their heading this way now."
(Main group.)
"A warehouse seriously? This feels like the plot of a TV show!" Bulma said annoyed as she held the tracker up.
"Well where is it?" Oolong asked impatiently.
"The cars in the centre of the warehouse why they would go to all this trouble to hide car let alone such a old model is beyond me!" Bulma replied.
Diana shrugged "I didn't even know what a car looked like until a few months ago so their monetary value is meaningless to me."
Goku nodded in affirmation having never even heard the word car before he met them.
"Lets get the car back already then but be on guard it could be a trap." Diana warned.
"If it is guarded then they really outdid themselves whoever stole it." Bulma responded as they all walked I to the open warehouse door.
"Wonder why they left it open? Seems counter productive to leave it open for the cops to find." Oolong remarked.
"City barely has cops they probably didn't expect us to actually try retrieve it." Bulma reminded them.
Goku then looked at a wall which had dark stains on them of a vague red colour and it seemed other walls and some of the floor had a similar story.
"Damn what is this a serial killers base?" Oolong joked.
"As a matter of fact yes." A voice replied as they group turned to see 11 men armed with an assortment of guns 10 in some sought of uniform and a man at the front with greasy shoulder length hair and a bucket proof vest clearly the one who had just spoken."
"Who are you and while have you stolen our vehicle?" Diana asked drawing her sword and shield at the sight of the weapons.
"Die Faust Der Kain remember that." The man responded.
"What's that?" Goku questioned warily.
"Oh right it means the fist of Cain we are... depopulation enthusiasts and I go by the alias Macabre."
"God dammit it was a trap!" Bulma yelled angrily.
"I'm flattered you decided to go towards my group rather than those belonging to my comrades but alas killings the game and we like games right boys?" Macabre looked back at his henchmen with an insane look in his eye 'Now remember to blue haired chick is worth 1 point the rest are 5 each!"
All then men turned almost hungry gazes on the group as the cocked the weapons in preparation.
"Fill them with lead!" Macabre shouted excitedly as he manically laughed as bullets starting spraying everywhere with Diana and Goku dodging the projectiles handily while Bulma hid behind Oolong who was in the form of a giant robot.
As the ones firing went to reload Macabre clapped appreciatively, "Guess you lot weren't lying this will be much more entertaining than I thought!" As some of the cultists began firing again however Diana with her shield ran toward the ones shooting before quickly knocking 3 of them out cold as Goku stretched his power pole and sent it crashing into their heads as the duo quickly finished off the 10 men leaving them sprawled in a pile on the floor.
"That's not-" Macabre started before Goku chopped his neck knocking him unconscious.
"He said there were others and with the skirmish we just had they'll be on their way." Diana warned.
"Been a while since I've actually fought a battle I might knock some heads a bit." Oolong in robot form responded as he prepared himself as 10 more soldiers with a white haired girl in the lead came from another part of the warehouse.
"Prepare to-" But she was interrupted as Oolong with his now massive arms smashed through the soldiers like bowling pins sending them crashing.
"Die." Dirty Girl finished in disbelief before she too was knocked out for the count.
"Now that was nice!" Oolong cheered until they heard some other voices shouting.
"They were taken down that easily? Unleash Blockbuster!" A older voice said as they heard a roar of anger from the other room just as another ten soldiers burst through some doors guns raised behind a orange haired man with sunglasses.
"I ain't losing this winning streak those points are mine!" The man said before continuing "The names Adam by the way now prepare to meet your maker! He said he pulled out a remote and pressed a button a large pit opening underneath them.
"Nimbus!" Goku shouted as he grabbed Diana and flew away from the pit as Oolong emerged as large pterodactyl with Bulma mounted upon his back as he landed.
"What?" Adam said surprised before looking to his men "Pepper some holes in these barstards!" As bullets began flying however they again leaped the pit and knocked them all out cold.
"Lets get our car now!" Diana said as the others nodded and ran towards the location of their car while back at the entrance a certain duo slipped in to finally follow them through the warehouse.
(Christian Fleischer's POV.)
Dammit these 4 runts made a mockery of most of my forces to think I'd be forced to unleash Blockbuster. Christian thought embarrassed with his failure.
He still remembered how he found about Blockbuster after the monsters brother sold him to himself why he would do that to his brother he didn't know all he did know was that Blockbuster was born after a experiment of Mark Desmond went wrong and turned himself into a 12 foot behemoth with super strength durability and stamina not that Christian particularly cared he was more of a weapon than an actual person now in his eye anyway.
Blockbuster then walked out the prison Christian had him in before unlatching the inhibitors of his power the beast looked sathis arms then at Christian I surprise.
"You'll need all your power for this one bug fella." Christian said after seeing his reaction as the door into the room smashed open revealing the four he intended to kill.
"Where's our car old man?" the blue haired teen yelled at him angrily.
Christian chuckled "In the room behind me but you'll have to survive first." Christian the cackled mockingly as Blockbuster stepped out from the shadows as he walked through a fire exit escaping the building.
(Main Cast POV.)
"The hell is that mutant hunk of steroids?" Oolong asked nervously as he and Bulma stepped back.
"You two can take him." Bulma said with a nervous thumbs up.
Diana flashed a annoyed thumbs down before she turned to face the opponent who Goku was already staring down.
"Hey can you talk?" Goku asked,
The beast merely grunted in response but could clearly understand.
"The Blockbuster is a monster created from the Blockbuster serum this is his enraged state in his normal state he is a regular human." Bulma added.
"So its a villainous hulk?" Oolong asked.
Bulma shrugged "Eh close enough."
Goku then slammed the power pole into Blockbusters side but the beast grabbed it and pulled it out of Goku's hands before throwing it back as a javelin which Goku dodged and picked up once again.
"Don't give him room to grab onto it! You'll have to get in close." Diana said before she charged in shield in front as Blockbuster swung at her while the shield succeeded the blows force wrong up her arm.
Blockbuster then slammed him arms into the ground causing it to shudder as Goku began to land hits on the behemoth but barely doing noteworthy damage Blockbuster then caught Goku with a backhand slamming him into the wall before the small Saiyan crawled out from the now large crater in said wall disoriented.
Diana then ran up to him and whispered in his ear "Goku stay beside me I'll block you'll strike got it?"
"Yep." Goku whispered back in her ear as they both ran towards Blockbuster side by side getting in close as he swung another massive fist with Diana steeling herself to block as Goku jabbed 3 times into his stomach as his other fist rained down Diana blocked again and Goku laned another 4 jabs and they repeated it a few more times until Blockbuster changed his attacks up with a drop kick crashing into Diana and sending her skidding across the floor however while he was of balance from the kick Goku sweeper his other leg with the power pole tripping him up as he mashed hits across hoe body with flurries of blows before he jumped back and launched a Kamehameha into to Blockbuster ejecting a grown of pain from him.
"Nice!" Diana commended before throw her shield like a disc towards Blockbuster slamming into his face as he tried to get up knocking him down again as Diana began slashing the giant with her sword leaving a few cuts but nothing major.
Blockbuster began thrashing around forcing Diana back beside Goku as he quickly got up and ran at them with frightening speed grabbing Goku's tail stunning the small Saiyan much to Diana's surprise.
"That's a weak spot? crap!" She then swung at Blockbusters hand leaving a nasty wound as he roared in pain dropping the Saiyan before he attempted a stomp but Goku managed to role away in time.
"Our attacks barely faze him he just shrugs through the pain." the princess commented gasping for air.
Goku quickly gained his breath back before responding "Your right also I'll have to watch the tail isn't the future."
The two then turned back to Blockbuster who stared them down as he began to stomp his way towards him.
"Hey big guy hands off!" A familiar voice yelled as Yamcha ran into the room Puar by his side.
"He's really on our side? Thought that would be a one time thing." Diana remarked before she and Goku charged back into the fray to defeat Blockbuster.
(A while later.)
The trio of warriors lied down panting on the floor next to the now human body of Mark Desmond who was currently out of commission.
"I'll called the cops let's grab the car and dip before they ask questions." Bulma said after getting of the phone as she Oolong and Puar ran into the room with the car.
"Glad you showed up we may have lost otherwise." Goku said looking to the desert bandit.
"Its all good though I have on favour to ask you." Yamcha responded.
"What would that be?" Diana asked slightly wary.
"Puar and I would like to accompany the group of you to finish the hunt if that's ok with you."
"Oh uh you'll have to ask Bulma." Diana said relieved it wasn't bad.
"B-Bulma?" Yamcha stuttered as Puar floated into the room.
"Already asked we're aloud thanks to use helping now lets go!"
Yamaha sighed in relief as Goku and Diana looked at him curiously before they walked to the car to leave before the cops arrived.
(Emperor Pilaf's POV after the third attempt of stealing them.)
'Those interlopers be dammed!' Pilaf thought angrily as he stamped his foot.
"Oh come on boss we'll get them next time!" Shu a bipedal dog replied.
"We're being beaten by a bunch of kids and useless teenager!" Pilaf groaned in annoyance.
"Why do we even bother confronting them fairly if their so much stronger?" Mai a beautiful woman with silky dark hair and blue eyes asked.
"Fairly... That's it! We'll lure them into a room and put them to sleep and steal them I'm amazing at ideas!"
"That was-"
"Now now Mai jealousy is a curse." Pilaf said smugly.
Mai grumbled as Shu chuckled while they schemed the specifics of their trap to take the dragon balls to achieve world domination.
(Main cast.)
"The cars out of gas again!" Bulma yelled back to the others as everyone got out the car.
"How far from the dragon ball?" Diana asked.
"We're close but I just hope those idiots don't try something again." Bulma replied referring to the Pilaf gang.
"Yeah what's that blue gremlins problem?" Yamcha added.
"Oh well we just keep them away from them and watch out for any ambush." Oolong replied bored of it all everyone seemed to underestimate emperor Pilaf's persistence it seemed as they saw a castle in the distance.
"Is that where it is?" Diana asked.
"Seems so." Bulma replied as they the continued their way until they reached the top the castle stairs until they heard a mechanical switch being flicked.
"What was that?" Puar asked on Yamcha's shoulder as a trap door underneath them opened.
"What kind of cartoon gag is this!" Bulma yelled as they all fell down a gaping hole.
"How did they have time to fabricate this?" Diana said as they all thudded to the floor relatively safe as the door closed a mechanical claw grabbed Bulma and dragged her out kicking and screaming.
"Bulma!" Yamcha called out as she was taken away.
(Few minutes later.)
"AHHH!" Bulma screamed as she fell unceremoniously back in.
"Why did they let you go?" Oolong asked as Bulma explained what happened.
"You assumed he'd grope you? Dirty minded much!" Puar said surprised.
"Well anyone would I'm just that attractive." Bulma replied smugly.
Diana rolled her eyes just as Pilaf's voice sounded through the room.
"Your blue haired friend disgusts me! Besides Mai is far superior to you anyway!"
"How dare you!" Bulma screeched in anger.
"Not the right time." Diana said as a gas seeped into the room.
"Enjoy your nap suckers!" Pilaf cackled.
"Their trying to gas u-" Goku was cut off he fainted along with the rest of them all following soon after as soon as they began to snore and the gas cleared the Pilaf Gang ran in to get what they wanted.
"Hell yeah this was easy!" Stu cheered loudly as Mai and Pilaf smacked his head.
"Quiet!" Mai whispered aggressively as they began to search their bags until Pilaf emerged with the dragon balls in hand.
"Help me carry these will yah?" He groaned as he gave them 2 each and along with the last one they had they had then full set.
"Yes yes! The wish shall be mine! Hurry make haste we must summon the dragon!" Pilaf said as the trio rushed out as fast as they came in.
(A little later in the container deciding to change a little bit here.)
"I still can't believe those little shits for us that good!" Yamcha remarked as he stood up propped against the wall.
"We need to find a way out!" Diana replied frantically as she paced back and fourth.
"Yeah that Pilaf guy wants world domination or something that sounds bad." Puar added.
Goku gazed into the night air as some clouds began moving away from the moon.
"What are looking at Goku?" Diana asked curiously as she walked up next to him.
"Just the moon its always fascinated me to look at for some reason." Goku replied as the clouds slid further away.
"Yeah did we know we have a Goddess of the moon? Her name is Artemis." Diana said as she looked at the moon as well.
"Really? I thought that girl that beat me up was called Artemis?" Goku replied looking back at her.
"No she's named after her."
"Oh that's pretty cool." Goku remarked as he stared up at the now bright full moon as he began feeling weird.
"Uh Goku?" Diana asked as Goku began to grow a bit in size before rapidly expanding causing her to jump back.
"What the fucks happening?" Yamcha asked as Goku burst through the prison riff until reaching his full size in the form of a colossal ape.
"Who turned Goku into a Kaiju?" Oolong yelled as they ran away towards where Pilaf was summoning the dragon.
"Lets get out of here!" Bulma added as they ran for the lives from the giant monster.
"Rise almighty Shenron! Appear before me and Grant my wish!" Pilaf yelled as Shu and Mai watched from the side lines as a white light erupted from the dragon balls as a gigantic green dragon emerged from the balls turning the sky darker than it already was as Shenron hovered above them in full form.
"I am the eternal dragon state your wish and I will grant it!"
Everyone else stopped in their tracks besides great ape Goku as Shenron eclipsed the sky.
"They summoned the dragon!" Bulma yelled angered.
"That's the dragon huh?" Diana gasped she felt the urge to bow in front of its almighty presence.
"I'll stop them!" Oolong yelled as he transformed into a rocket and blasted towards the Pilaf gang.
(Pilaf's POV.)
"The hell is this shit!" Pilaf cried out in fear as the giant ape charged a massive laser before levelling his castle.
"No! Not the castle!" Pilaf said distraught as the dragon stared down patiently.
"Where do we live now?" Shu asked.
"Who cares make the wish Pilaf!" Mai interjected.
"Right now Shenron grant my wish make me-" Pilaf was then knocked to the side as Oolong turned back to his base form.
"Shenton give me a girls panties!" Oolong yelled.
"No no! Don't waste it in that its mine!" Pilaf said.
However Shenron's eyes flashed "Your wish as perverted and wasteful as it is shall be granted!"
"No!" Pilaf screeched as Shenron disappeared and the dragon balls dispersed.
(Diana's POV.)
"Yamcha help me!" Diana yelled gritting her teeth as she was swatted away from the apes blow.
'Goku's current form could crush Blockbuster like tissue paper!' Diana thought as Yamcha went for some futile strike Diana joined.
"I might have a plan!" Puar said as he turned into a flying pair of scissors "Just distract him for me got it?"
Diana and Yamcha nodded in affirmation and from the corner of her eye she saw the Pilaf gang already running off in the distance though it was hardly surprising.
Diana blocked another earth shattering blow from great ape Goku she felt its force all throughout her body and the ground cracked beneath her from the force.
"Hurry Puar!" Yamcha yelled as Puar swerved under a tail swipe from Goku and promptly cut the tail off.
"Got yah!" Puar cheered as Goku colossal tail fell to the ground and Goku began to shrink all the way back to his normal size albeit butt naked.
"It's finally over." Diana muttered as she and Yamcha collapsed to the floor exhausted.
This officially concludes the first arc if the series! I had to shorten the Pilaf bit so I didn't bloat the chapter to much now we shall move into the tournament and Red ribbon sagas after this!
