Author's Note: Hiiiii, guys! Sorry for not updating in a while. I've been so busy working on my Minecraft stuff that the FNaF hyperfixation kinda wore off.

Anyways, I have the next chapter for you!

I hope you enjoy!

And before you read this, my Bonnie in my AU is a trans girl, because I originally thought Bonnie was a girl when I first played FNaF 1 when it came out. :)

Freddy sighed as he watched the tears on Mike's face run down his cheeks and fall, and he felt his own lip quivering. He never thought that he and his friends would ever tell anyone their story. And even when Bonnie suggested telling Mike, the bear didn't think the guard would be this… sympathetic. He never would have guessed with the living human's seemingly sour disposition.

Freddy placed a hand on the table again. "There's no need to apologize, Mike. There's… there's nothing that we could have done, and we've come to accept that. Granted, we want to move on, but… we can't because… we don't know who that other person was that helped Frank that night. They were wearing a mask, even when they left, and we have no idea who they were."

Mike let a soft gasp escape his lips. "So… until you figure out who that is, you won't be able to pass on?"

"Exactly," Chica replied. "And… to be truthful? None of us think we'll ever find out who that was."

Mike felt his chest wrench in despair, he curled in on himself with his eyes sealed shut. "That's… that's not fair. That's bullshit!"

Bonnie felt herself placing a hand to Mike's back. "I know, Mike. We know that. But… but we don't think there's anything we can do. We may never be able to find out who that kid was."

Mike nodded, though in a way that seemed reluctant. He didn't want to think these children wouldn't ever get peace and be able to go wherever they needed to go, but he wished there was something more he could do.

The night guard sniffled again and spoke in a tired, hoarse voice. "I… I wish I could do more to help you." He blinked more tears out of his eyes and wiped his face with his sleeve end. "I'm so sorry I held such a grudge on you all for so long. I just followed what Scott told me and I didn't even think to not just assume he was right. Assuming that… that you were all just robots trying to kill me… I feel like such an ass for it. You didn't deserve that judgment from me. I never would have thought about it."

"Mike, lad," Foxy began while placing his hook on the table. "You couldn't have known. We just didn't think you'd believe us. We should have thought about tellin' ya first. We should have just gone and tried to kill ya like that. It's not your fault in any way. We're just… angry and tired of not being able to pass on."

Mike let out a shuddering sob. He looked down at the table as he finally set his hat back onto his head. He thought a little longer about Foxy's words, and a thought dawned on him. "...Where's George? What… what happened to him?"

Bonnie hung her head again. "We don't know. We could hear Frank hurting him in our fading hearing, but when we woke up as spirits, there was no sign of him. We think Frank did something else and took his body somewhere else. George's dad was a pretty well known guy in the perfume industry, and a very wealthy and powerful man. But… without any sign of him, the investigation into his disappearance went cold too, from what we heard. But… we can't find him anywhere here. We think Frank took him so they wouldn't be able to find any leads and find the truth."

Disbelief was mixed with absolute horror on Mike's face. "I guess… I guess Frank got what he deserved. I have no sympathy for people who hurt children… I just… can't fathom it."

After another still moment, Mike stood up. It seemed like he was going to go back into the office for a second. Freddy stood and asked, "Mike?"

That was when the night guard turned, looked at Freddy, then wrapped his arms around the bear animatronic. It didn't take long for Freddy to return the embrace and hold onto the guard as much as he could without hurting him.

Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy watched in awe as Mike was held, before Bonnie joined the hug, then Chica, then Foxy. There was nothing to hurt or interrupt the children or Mike here. There was nothing that could hurt them anymore now. There was nothing to make them fearful, nothing to make them cry or scream in pain. There were just the robots and the human holding onto each other with an understanding between them.

When a small noise came from Mike, the animatronics gently moved back and let the human have some room. Mike sat back down in his seat, pulling out his phone to check the time. "It's… it's almost 2:30. I should… I should head back to the office."

Foxy tilted his head. "How come, lad?"

"I… I need some time to think. I know… I know my girlfriend will probably notice when I come home that I'm not so composed right now. And… I need to look like I'm doing my job, you know?"

Bonnie nodded in understanding and held out a hand to Mike. "I'll walk you back to the office… if you'd like me to."

Mike sniffled, nodded, and took Bonnie's hand. Just as he prepared to walk away, a voice from behind him had him turning his head.

"Mike?"

The human looked to see Freddy gazing down at him again. "Yeah?"

"...Thanks. Thank you for… for listening to us. We've never talked to someone like this about it. It was… nice, as much as it hurt to recall what happened. Thank you again."

Mike, despite how much his chest still hurt, found himself smiling. "...You're welcome. Thank you for… for opening up to me. I understand."

Freddy returned the guard's sad smile. Mike then looked up at Bonnie as she began to guide him down the hall at a slow pace. Her touch was… surprisingly warm and firm, in a comforting way. As they slowly went down the hall, he held onto the rabbit's hand and smiled. "...Hey, Bonnie?"

"Yes, Mike?"

"Are you… you're a girl, right?"

Bonnie blinked and looked down at him. "...Yes. Well, I think I am. But the robot is a boy. It doesn't feel right to call me a boy, because my soul is a girl."

Mike watched Bonnie as they reached the office, and before letting her hand go, he responded with, "You know that there's people in the living world that are like that?"

Bonnie's ears perked up. "What do you mean?"

"I know a few people who were told they were boys when they were born, but they feel like they're girls and identify that way." He chuckled. "Your body may not match your soul, but it's what's in your soul that counts. You know?"

Bonnie blinked in surprise as Mike walked into the office and turned to face her from the doorway. He pulled out his phone and tapped the screen to type something in, then held it up for her to see. She read the words on his screen, before her eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh…" Bonnie spoke. "Oh… that makes sense. Can I… can I call myself that?"

"I think so. It doesn't belong to one person, and you can use it however you feel like." Mike beamed at her.

Bonnie returned the smile, before bidding Mike good night, and walking away from the office. The guard watched her until she was out of his sight, before returning to his chair. He pulled his phone out, started up one of his favorite games, and tapped away as he did so.

Jennifer looked over her shoulder at the sound of a door opening, and she turned to see Mike walking into the kitchen of their little home. She let a wide grin cross her face. "Morning, Mikey. I'm making breakfast."

Mike chuckled, walking over and placing a tender kiss to her cheek. "Morning, Jenny. Thank you so much."

Jennifer continued to cook as Mike sat down and took off his coat. When she had finally finished and the two had their plates, she sat in the seat next to him and asked, "How did last night go?"

Mike tensed a bit, but didn't feel the same fear he usually did when his girlfriend asked that question. He sighed softly and took a bite of the eggs on his plate. He could feel Jennifer looking at him, so he swallowed and stated, "I talked to them. Bonnie invited me to talk to them when I got there."

Jennifer's eyes went wide and she sat up in shock. "She what?"

"Bonnie… she invited me to the main party room, I went to talk to her and the others, and… they made me a pizza and… told me… their intentions."

"What do you mean?"

A small sigh escaped Mike's lips. He shifted his seat to look at Jennifer, and he began to tell his partner what he had been told. There were quite a few gasps of shock that Jennifer let out, and the tears came not long after.

When Mike had finished telling everything he knew and what they had done last night, he and Jennifer had finished their breakfast and they were both in tears.

"Mikey… I… I never could have thought… that those robots were possessed by those kids." She sat back with a mix of despair and disbelief on her face. "But… you said they already killed Frank and there's nothing left of their bodies… right?"

"That's what Foxy told me," came Mike's response. "So, even if we went to authorities, we can't just tell them what the truth is. They'll think we're nuts, and all the evidence is gone." Mike sighed. "I guess… I wish I could do more to help them, but there's nothing I can really do to help them pass on."

Jennifer nodded. "Yeah… but… maybe, you can do something else for them. If those are really kids in those robots, maybe you can give them some memories that they didn't get to have before their lives were robbed from them."

Mike tilted his head. "What do you mean?"

"Mike, they told you that they're kids. And they were young. You should bring some things to them and let them try to experience the childhood they never got." She could see Mike looking at her with a quirked brow. "How about you get some sleep, and we'll go to the store after you wake up? I think I have a couple of ideas."

The next night, Mike's red pickup pulled into the parking lot. This time, the night guard had a backpack over his shoulders as he jumped out of his vehicle. Mike could see his breath in front of his face from the chilly air tonight, but the cold didn't put a damper on his spirits for tonight.

Mike could see a form exit the building. The man made his way down the sidewalk to meet his boss, who seemed to look at him in surprise when he greeted him with, "Evening, Mr. Jonston!"

The manager of the pizzeria blinked. "Well, evening, Michael! You seem to be in a good mood tonight! Did anything special happen today?"

"No, sir," he answered with a shake of his head. "But… I just feel a little better tonight. Been working on myself and I feel… good." He knew that was all a lie, but Mike didn't want to actually say what was making him so happy. He was actually excited to come in and see his new friends. And he was going to make sure what time he spent with them would be good for them.
