Ryo was glad that Midoriya took him seriously when he told the boy to come to him with any concerns over the students' mental health.

Midoriya usually was very adept at spotting students that were struggling with something and didn't fail to notify him in a reasonable timeframe so that he could help or pass word on to the head of the other course counselors.

However, there was an unexpected downside to Midoriya's willingness to share and it wouldn't be easy to deal with it.

Not that Ryo would ever regret telling Midoriya that, but he didn't have to love all of the extra work it had given him.

Because on one hand he was so glad that Midoriya brought him in on the secret of Inheritance and All For One so he could continue to properly treat all six of the kids now involved with the secret.

Especially to help address the fact that Sir Nighteye had been grooming Togota with each of the them.

Encouraging most of the five to redirect their anger into positive outlets, though deep down he really couldn't blame any of the kids from wanting to bite Sir's head off, he very much wanted to do that as well.

On the other hand, he had a lot more work than he usually had on his hands, starting of course by looking for ways to help Amajiki and Hado with having multiple voices in their head and co-existing with the people that would be in their head from now on.

Unfortunately, that area was not his expertise and researching it wasn't that easy either.

Having voices in your mind was normally a sign of a serious and sometimes a crippling mental condition, or a telepath quirk without proper boundaries, neither would be helpful for the kids to cope with the past wielders.

The closest thing to what he was looking for was some more modern journals published in regard to symbiotic sentient quirks and how the ten, or twenty depending on how you counted, volunteers of the study lived with their quirk partner.

All of which only dealt with a two-person example, but it was the closest he was probably going to get comparatively since the cloning quirks studies were simply a retreading of D.I.D. research and treatment.

So, Ryo found himself making the best of what limited resources there were and just glad he wouldn't have to start entirely from scratch to help guide Amajiki and Hado during such a delicate time in their lives.

It was going to be a lot of hard work and he'd be basically playing around in the dark, but the kids needed him and that was the most important thing at the moment.

So, Ryo trudged into his office, and he sat down and began to groom himself.

Lapping at his hands and brushing his hair and fur so that he'd look more presentable for his session with Amajiki, and then he dug out the plushy animals he kept and placed them around the room for the boy.

This was going to be Amajiki's first session since Inheritance fully settled and the problems of having multiple people in your head would begin in earnest according to the text he got from Midoriya that morning.

Knowing this Ryo expected the boy to be more nervous than he normally would be, so Ryo wanted him to have more things to relax with.

Helping Amajiki stay as calm as possible would be for the best in order to help the boy adjust to this new development.

Ryo wasn't surprised when Amajiki had come to his office with little wisps of purple smoke coming from him and Hado gently leading the boy along.

Concern and anxiety from the two of them, naturally.

"Thank you for bringing Amajiki to my office Hado." Ryo gently told the girl, allowing her to see Amajiki to the couch.

"Of course, Inu-San." Hado cheerfully said though her scent didn't quite match it, and she shot a questioning look towards Amajiki, the boy shaking his head in response.

"Well, if you change your mind Jiki I'll be out in the hall working on my meditation." Hado told the boy before moving to leave.

Ryo frowned for a moment, then realized that perhaps Hado and Amajiki had spoken with each other mentally through Inheritance.

That was certainly… news to him and he wasn't sure it would be a good thing or bad thing yet.

"Good morning, Amajiki, I can see you're more on edge today." Ryo said folding his arms on his desk.

Amajiki nodded, biting his lip and his hands nervously fidgeting, the smoke rolling off of him coating the floor and couch slightly.

Jumping slightly and the smoke becoming thicker for a second.

"Okay, would you feel up to explaining how the visit to your and Hado's Mindspace went last night?" Ryo offered for the boy, Amajiki usually did better when he gave the boy a direction to line his thoughts up with.

"Y-yes." Amajiki quietly answered, his ear twitching then the boy ducked his head.

"If you want to respond to the past users, please feel free to, I do not mind." Ryo assured the boy, even if it would be hard for him to follow only knowing what Amajiki was saying, Ryo wanted to encourage Amajiki to speak his mind as often as he could.

"Right, thank you Inu-San." Amajiki muttered grabbing the closest plushy and burying his face in it, likely to hide his flush face even if his red ears were still visible.

"So, why don't you start with how you went to bed. Did you do anything different last night?" Ryo asked.

Amajiki buried his head deeper in the plushy and his red ears were folded back, and he was quiet for a moment longer.

"Nejire, Haya, Miyake, Oswald and I went with Aizawa-Sensei to TP Sir's apartment building before we went to bed." Amajiki confessed before releasing a large cloud along with a bunch of embarrassment with it.

Ryo blinked staring at the boy just a touch surprised.

Amajiki had certainly expressed a lot of anger and frustration towards Sir, and rightfully so, but he couldn't exactly see Amajiki actually acting on it.

The rest of his friends certainly, and his Kouhai definitely explained the glitter toilet paper that he'd seen on tv being so familiar looking, Aizawa must have raided Yamada's old pranking supplies to find that old stuff.

It was a pleasant surprise to hear that Amajiki was doing something spiteful, though in most cases he wouldn't advise vandalism, at least he knew that his Kouhai would keep the five of them from going too far or from getting caught.

"Alright, do you think that going to bed later has changed anything for the two of you when going to your Mindspace?" Ryo asked remaining on topic and staying professional.

"Nejire and I had less time under, but that was about it." Amajiki replied lifting his head slightly, smelling relieved, likely because Ryo hadn't lingered on the vandalism part and the smoke dissipated somewhat.

Ryo nodded.

"That would be expected, how about when you woke up in the space?" Ryo inquired once again directing Amajiki on where he could start with.

"I was in my anemone, a few of the clownfish 'woke' me up." Amajiki answered fiddling with the paws of the cat plushy.

"Nejire and I were expecting changes by this point, so it wasn't that surprising when I saw I had a glowing pattern all over me." Amajiki muttered.

Amajiki and Hado had tried to describe the changes their bodies had in their mind space, but it was hard to fully understand but he wouldn't say that to Amajiki.

"I went to go find Nejire soon after, we met at the edge of my reef and realized we could speak with each other without sign language." Amajiki informed him.

"Ah, that will make things easier from now on, yes? Especially when you want to talk with the past users in your own space." Ryo guessed.

Amajiki fell silent, becoming more bashful then embarrassed and ashamed as the smoke cloud covered him up.

"Amajiki?" Ryo said, a bit uncertain about why Amajiki would be falling silent right now, or feeling that kind of way after whatever the past holders said.

"Sorry, just um, meeting the o-others didn't quite go how we expected it to." Amajiki told him shakily.

"In what way Amajiki?" Ryo inquired, ready to drop it if talking about it would be too much for Amajiki to talk about at the moment.

The smoke became even thicker and for the first time Ryo smelt a faint whiff of a scent from it, it smelt like a scent scrubber.

"Nana-San called us her grandbabies." Amajiki admitted a few seconds later smelling miserably embarrassed about it.

"Ah," Ryo found himself responding, a bit taken aback.

He wasn't the biggest fan of Comet, she was from a couple generations before his was born and wasn't a big name, Ryo only knew of her and her work because she was a leading figure for the privacy act of '24.

But Yagi had spoken very highly of her and Torino recounted everything she'd lost in a way much like Bullet-Jacker would have.

Neither Yagi nor Torino mentioned anything about adopting habits from her though.

"Does that make you uncomfortable?" Ryo asked, despite not smelling any discomfort from the boy. It was best to check since the smoke might be covering it up partially if it was some kind of scent neutralizer.

Amajiki's eyes went down, hugging the plushy closer to himself.

"I don't know." Amajiki muttered, his uncertainty leaking out beyond the cloud.

"My nana on mama's side didn't really like me and I never met papa's mom." Amajiki confessed his nerves showing.

Ryo sighed internally as he was reminded of Amajiki's complicated family situation.

Religion could be great and had saved a lot of people, some of his classmates had turned to different favors of faith, but god did people use it to act superior and justify a lot of horrid behavior.

And from what he could gather from his sessions with Amajiki it sounded like a good chunk of his mother's side strongly disapproved of Amajiki's diet and choice to have a career out of Shintoism.

Not that the boy would say that, only imply it indirectly and never purposely.

So, if Amajiki was actually saying that his grandmother disliked him, either she was much worse than his aunts, or he had a harder time lying with Hado and the others in his mind.

Maybe both in this case.

"Well family can be complicated, what family means is different for everyone and that's because it's what you'll make of it." Ryo told the boy.

"If you don't want her to be your grandmother, then that's it and I'm sure that Nana will be more than understanding of that, right?" Ryo said, only holding back from a stern glare since Nana would only see it through Amajiki.

And after waiting for Amajiki's ear to twitch to continue speaking.

"But if you want to explore what her being your grandmother would be like, then I think that would be perfectly acceptable so long as you and Nana talk with each other about what you are comfortable with." Ryo elaborated for him.

Hoping it would encourage the boy into taking more positive adult role models in his life.

Amajiki remained silent as he either pondered the idea or listened to the past holders talk.

"I... I would like that." Amajiki quietly said and Ryo wasn't sure if it was to him or the others.

Hn, having a group session and only being able to hear one member of the group was definitely going to be a challenge from this point on.

"If I may, going back to what you said earlier, you said grandbabies, as in plural? So, Nana sees you and Hado both as her grandchildren?" Ryo inquired to keep Amajiki talking.

Amajiki blinked startled, meaning he was likely talking to the other holders and not him. Amajiki blinked and Amajiki was about to ask what he said then the boy's ear twitched again.

"Yes, Nejire is excited to be my big sister, and that Deku-Sensei gets to be our cousin now." Amajiki answered, markedly less nervous since it wasn't directly about him but still bashful as he spoke.

Ryo started to nod only to pause.

"Wait, Deku is your cousin?" Ryo asked out loud before he could rephase it.

Amajiki became embarrassed again and ducked his head.

"The um, past holders have all agreed that Youchi, the first, is Deku-Sensei's dad now." Amajiki elaborated for him.

That cleared up almost nothing.

"I'll ask Nejire more about that in her session with me, why don't you tell me about how it felt leaving your space for the main area of Inheritance's Mindspace?" Ryo suggested offering for Amajiki to change the topic again.

"It was... very intense and not all of the memories of the past holders were nice to relive." Amajiki tentatively answered, uncertainty wafting off of him as he spoke of these things.

"I won't push you to tell what of the past users memories you saw, if you or the others don't want to discuss it with me that is okay." Ryo assured the boy.

"Did meeting the other holders go smoothly apart from Nana proclamation of being family?" Ryo asked.

"Not quite." Amajiki replied hesitantly.

Ryo tilted his head "Oh, can you tell me what else happened?" Ryo requested.

"Well, Nejire is still wrapping her head around the fact that her new 'dad' is All Might." Amajiki answered.

Ryo paused, then shook his head.

Of course, Yagi wouldn't tell them he was All Might right away, but had the man really not told them before last night?

He'd need to tell Midoriya so the boy could put some more sense into the man.

Ryo: So, can you please explain why the past users have decided that Deku-Sensei is your cousin

Nejire: Well he's technically a second cousin and Youchi the First holder is our cousin since Sobo-Nana adopted him as her nephew, but he's our age so we just call him our cousin.

Ryo: Okay, and how did Deku-Sensei become Youchi's son?

Nejire: Honestly they look so much alike that I seriously doubt he isn't Deku-Sensei's bio-dad.

Ryo *blinks*

Ryo: Hasn't Youchi been dead and body-less for centuries?

Nejire: Yeah but time travel is a thing and so is inter-dimensional stuff.

Ryo:...

Nejire: I put my bet down on Deku-Sensei being a reincarnation of Youchi.

Ryo: The past holders are betting on how Deku-Sensei is related to Youchi?

Nejire *Nods: Bruce and Second bet on Aoi being a major creep that somehow saved Youchi's DNA and putting it out into the sperm banks.

Ryo:...

Nejire: Yeah... I prefer the one-night stand with a Youchi from another dimension theory over that if Deku-Sensei is actually biologically related to Youchi.

Ryo: Understandably so given the implications.
