Chapter 1638 Under Paris
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
At Paris theres a killer shark that was in the waters. The only reason it could survive in these waters was become it got mutated.
Now a woman named Sophia was tracking it but a animal rights woman called Mika was trying to protect it despite the dangers.
They were near the river as it was the last sighting of the shark. Mika chases Sophia so she can protect the shark.
Mika and Sophia then saw something come down, as everyone saw a big mechanical claw grab the shark dragging it out of the ocean.
The claw belonged to a machine that had a trap built for the shark.
"What no!" cried Mika.
"What happened?" asked Sophia in surprise.
The mayor and the others came and saw Leonidas come down on a hover disk. "Ladies and Gentleman, greetings!"
They gasped seeing the famous Leonidas Yuki, president of multiple genetic corporations.
"I cant believe Leonidas himself is here." awed Sophia.
"I have heard of the problem, this shark is too dangerous to be left in the wild. So I will contain it and study it's evolution to make sure nothing bad will happen." Leonidas told everyone.
Everyone talk among themselves that a dangerous shark was among in paris, if Leonidas didnt capture it. It will be carnage for everyone especially since it's sports day.
Leonidas then glared at the mayor, who flinched.
"You should have taken this threat serious, people would have died!"
"B-But today's national sports day, it's important for everyone." said the mayor.
"A day can be schedule later, I think the athletes would rather have they're limbs on instead." Leonidas said.
Said athletes nodded in agreement as they glared at the mayor for almost killing them.
Suddenly Leonidas hear shouting and saw it was Mika who did it.
"You maniac! Release that innocent animal from your clutches!" yelled Mika angrily.
"Oh shut up. If I let this animal out, then it's children will feed on many endanger species." He said.
"But it should free like all animals!" said Mika, acting like a maniac, "You're just gonna experiment on it!"
"So? You should be lucky i'm not killing it." He shrugs.
"Then release it!"
"No. Because you have no power." Leonidas said.
His men came wearing black masks as they chained it up dropping the shark inside of a container filled with water.
Then the activist did something stupid, she rushed towards them. Leaping at the edge of the container, repeatedly knocking on it.
"Hey kid what are you doing?!" said one of Leo's men.
"I need to free it!" said Mika
"Good luck! That's stronger than bullet proof glass!" Another said.
But Mika ignore them and tried her best.
Leonidas sighs. "Police. Escort her out."
They arrived and quickly take her away, as Mika screamed frantically.
Sophia saw this and sighed, "Glad she's out."
"Yes miss Sophia, I heard a lot from you. Well don't worry the monster is now contained and stopped from others suffering like your husband." He said.
"Oh thank god, I appreciate it." said Sophia fully greatful to him.
"Also, charge her for obstruction, since I don't want those wild life freaks here when i'm trying to make the world a better place." He said.
"She deserve it, her and some of her group's actions caused many lives." said Sophia with agreement.
"Yes, I put a arrest warrant on them. Also... Anybody that tries to come for the shark will become fish food!" He threatens anyone of that group that's hearing.
They flinched in fear and nodded in agreement.
"Good, I have no problems getting people killed to make sure monsters like these do bigger damage." He said.
"And Ben, I know you tried to hack one of my companies."
He looked at the hacker who worked at the activist group flinched.
"I-Im' sorry, it's just Im curious about your work since Im fascinated by them." said Ben, "Unlike others who would make more problems, you brought solution to all."
"Then why help her the crazy Mika?" He said.
She looks down, "She used to be nice and caring, since we like to help animals. But as time went on she went mad in her goal, to the point I no longer recognize her."
"Well... How about you take your skills and do a better way. Like help me find more of these things." He smirks.
"R-Really?" asked Ben.
"Yes, it's a waste so work for one of my companies as a intern and if you get better, i'll make you fulltime." He said.
Ben gets excitrd hearing that, "I accept! I'll make you proud."
Leonidas then turned to Sophia, "How about you, work for me too?
She thinks about it. "Can I have some time to think?"
He nodded.
"Take your time, your skill in biology is gifted."
Later
Mika was in jail and was sitting on a cell, she then saw Ben come.
"Hey Mika."
"Ben you gotta get me out!" She goes to the door.
"Sorry, but I came to say, I quit." She said.
"Quit?! What about our duty?!" said Mika.
"I am doing it, on my own. Mr Leonidas gave me the chance to really help." Ben said.
"Why would you help that maniac?!" said Mika, "He'll hurt the animals!"
"Are you kidding? He's the one that saved the super pigs." She said.
Mika was in denial, "He'll just use them for more experiments! Like that Mirando woman!"
"I checked everything, i've seen how the pigs interact with him, they love him." Ben said.
"Plus that other animal rights group named ALF did better compared to us. Some of them even work under Leonidas to ensure proper animal rights and take down people like you."
"So, we were nothing." She told her.
Mika was stunned to hear that theres another animals right group who did better.
"Sorry, I talked with them and they hated us." Ben told her.
"But our goals are the same!" said Mika.
"No, we were going to kill more animals by letting that shark free." Ben said.
"But it's their nature!" argued Mika.
"Not world wide extinction, because then there would be no more living sea life that wouldn't be those sharks."
Mika went silent and Ben sighed.
"I'm gonna go now, because of you and that mayor we almost kill humanity." said Ben.
Ben left her there as Mika was all left alone. She holds her face as her group was gone because of what she tried to do.
With Leonidas
He looks at the shark tank as the shark moves around.
"Such a danger it would have made. With it able to make too many kids it would be a danger. Theres a reason salt water creatures don't leave they're parts of the world."
He's now going to study it to make sure this doesn't happen again.
Roka came. "Everyone is preparing for the tests."
"Oh good, I want this shark tested and checked. We can't let another one roam around." Leo said.
She nodded as they were not going to let another incident like this to happen again.
Leonidas found out thanks to Ben's failed attempt to hack as that gave him a warning and saw the shark news. So he prepared that machine to capture it.
So Paris was lucky he found out before more lives we're endangered from that mad woman as it was her fault the shark was moving around free.
"Now it's best to complete the procedure." He said.
They took the shark as it was still inside it's container. Leonidas was the one that can truly stop this situation from happening ever again.
Note: The scene is based on the movie Under Paris as Leonidas managed to stop the shark from destroying everything thanks to his own knowledge and funds. As he's prepared for anything.
