And now another bedtime story for you wonderful readers out in the big wide world…

I'm truly, truly sorry for taking long with this chapter, guys. But my internship's finished and I'm working on final project now, so got a bit more time to write now.

Thanks again for all the reviews and messages you've sent me. It will forever mean the world to me. Can't express my gratitude for it enough.

Now to answer some reviews:

Guest: I'm not sure, mostly likely I'll try and implement some personalities from the movies into some characters already known or made known.

guest: Glad to hear, m8. Maybe, can't guarantee anything though. Glad to hear you like the references. PS4 spider-man is my favorite game right now, can't wait for the next spider-man game. And yeah, Bloodwork was an interesting villain of the Arrowverse.

Timbarney110: What do you mean by "writing an arrowverse reads your fanfiction?" Unclear as to what you mean, my friend. Don't know if I'll post on archiveofourown, though.

Starpottergeek: Glad to hear, and yeah, will try and add more characters to mix it up.

hunter41963801: Yeah, I am using the Silver Sable of PS4 Spider-Man game, easier to describe honestly. Maybe, will definitely think about your ideas. Could be cool, but can't guarantee anything at this moment.

So, without further ado…

ENJOY!

Chapter 8: Shades of a Dark Fate

"Finally."

Eliza managed to suppress the cry of relief and victory inside her as she looked at the results of her hard work. With Otto Octavius's help, she managed to finally awaken the elements inside of the five Klyntar samples she had birthed.

"We did it." She smiled victoriously. She wanted to scream out her relief and joy, but on the off chance that could be heard by the janitors of their darkened Mercury Labs facility she chose to hold off her scream. "We finally did it."

"Of course, we did." Otto bragged, not doubting their abilities… Or his own for that matter. Removing his goggles, he placed them on his forehead to face the five spherical glass containers on the table.

Each spherical container holding a symbiote that is the result of mixing Venom and Spider-Man's blood together. Each container sphere is placed over a device with a button, allowing a certain reaction to happen. Each symbiote has different colors than the other… Living and slithering inside of the spheres, a goo-like substance living in captivity and wanting to escape.

One container holding an orange symbiote… Wildly and fiercely trying to fight the walls around it…

One container holding a green symbiote… Stretching out and flexing its symbiotic form… Coolly slithering around its spherical cage….

One container holding a purple symbiote… Unable to handle its confines, shaking and quaking to escape…

One container holding a dark-blue symbiote… The one and only one to not move an inch, merely heavily and lazily sitting in its confines…

And the final one… One shaking and violently container holding a red and yellow symbiote… It was thrashing around inside of its confines. It was thrashing with the strength and violent nature of thunder…

"Five symbiotes, the result of mixing elemental symbiote mass from Venom together with the blood of Spider-Man." Otto smiled widely.

"All of them…" Eliza smiled widely, placing a hand over her mouth to try and stop her maniacal smile. "And all of them finally have the same powers as Venom. They'll surpass him."

"Careful, Dr. Harmon." Otto stated, using his mechanical arms to turn him around and gaze into the eyes of the native woman he's been helping for a long time after Taskmaster brought him into the fold. "Overestimating the opponent will lead to your downfall."

"What about you, Dr. Octavius?" Eliza smirked. "Aren't you looking down on The Flash? He is the fastest man alive."

Otto fought back the urge to chortle in disbelief. "Perhaps you've forgotten that I've bested your famed protector with nothing but defected, immature technology." Eliza didn't know it, but he was referring to Cisco's BOOT device that he made for CCPD to counter metahuman criminals. "He is of no importance."

"You only care about Venom and those three kids that run around him, don't you?" Eliza pieced the puzzle together. Otto smiled at her correct deduction. "Smart guys are always such open books. Might as well be clouds over your head with your thoughts." She joked.

"You are truly an interesting scientist, young Eliza." Otto stated. Eliza, acting as though it's a compliment, gave a mock bow. "Now…" He turned his attention to the fruits of their labor, to the spheres with Klyntars. "Let us see them release their true power."

Using one of his mechanical arms, he raised it and brought it close to the spherical container with the orange symbiote. One of the bigger claws of his claw sets stretched out and pressed the single button on the device under the glass sphere.

As soon as the button was pushed, the desired reaction happened. In an instant the orange symbiote's slithery, gooey, oil-like form brightened and glowed with a brighter intensity. Within the following moment, the symbiote ignited and a bright red flame erupted from it.

Eliza smiled and giggled at the intense flame that's filling up the entire sphere. "I can't believe it really… It really worked. We now have an elemental symbiote… Just like Venom."

"Unfortunately, despite being clones of his, they are not able to awaken more than one element each." Otto confessed much to his own regret. "But with five of these, we should indeed produce some fascinating results."

"Just to be clear, Dr. Octavius, I do not think it'd be in the best interest of the project if your subordinates were to wield these symbiotes as their hosts." Eliza shocked him with that statement. Otto turned murderously to her, who walked over to the container with the thrashing red-yellow symbiote. "They're already plenty powerful on their own. It won't give the right results for them to use them."

"Then what is your plan, Dr. Harmon?" Otto secretly watched her near the spherical container.

"I don't know yet." She placed her hand on the container, the yellow-red symbiote stopping its thrashing as though it had calmed down at her touch. Eliza caressed the glass container gently, acting as though it might break at her touch. "But whatever it's gonna be, it's gonna be marvelous…"

Whether she saw it or not, Otto definitely saw the faint sparks of lightning emitting from the symbiote that Eliza's stroking…. It was though it was responding to her… and her alone….

(S.T.A.R. Labs, Klyntar Cave)

The following day, the entire Snow-Fury family went to .R. Labs and watched as their daughters trained in the training facility, using the power measurers and unleashing a flurry of attacks on them to get an estimation of their current power levels.

Ruby remained on the ground, focusing on improving her physical prowess with Evelyn and Frankie throwing light daggers and metallic objects respectively after her. Both of their parents kinda regret agreeing to this form of training.

"You okay?" Seth asked Caitlin on the platform, both of them sitting in front of the computers.

Turning her head, Caitlin faced him. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Cait, come on." Seth placed a hand over hers. "We haven't talked about that message from your Mom once."

Holding out her hand to signal her sisters to stop the wave of projectiles, Ruby walked over to the platform with her sisters. "You haven't talked about that message yet?"

The three of them knew of what Carla Tannhauser told her daughter in the message. If their mother used any more of her cryogenic powers, she would not be able to reverse what follows. Permanently becoming Killer Frost of Earth-1 without ever returning back to Caitlin Snow again.

"You really think that could happen?" Frankie directed to both her parents.

"Maybe, I know a guy who feared becoming a beast which was caused by his mutant powers, fearing that he might never become Hank McCoy again." Seth started. "But that's only what I've heard, though. Ever since I've known him, he was always Hank and not the Beast he feared."

"You think Mom could live with an alter-ego." Evelyn deduced. "Even as Killer Frost?"

"Heck, yeah. I believe in your mother with everything I know." Seth honestly stated. "She's gonna be fine no matter what comes." He held eye contact with his mate.

Though she was calming down and smiling at his words, inwardly she was completely scared and terrified of the thought of her turning into Killer Frost. She didn't want her reign of cold terror to come over her own home.

Caitlin clenched her fist. "Maybe I have to try something else…" Even though she had Seth and their daughters to take care of… She always kept another plan in her mind in case of the unthinkable happening.

The clench of her fist didn't go unnoticed by her family members who kept emotions off their faces. "She's worried…" The symbiote within Seth told his host. "And keeping a secret. We're worried about her."

"That makes two of us, pal." Seth replied to his partner.

"Hey." The family turned their heads to the entrance, surprised to find Joe walking into the training room. Nodding his head to the elemental, he asked. "Think I can borrow you for a second?"

Getting nods of confirmation from his family, Seth faced the detective. "Sure thing." Getting up from his chair, he walks over to his partner. "What's the deal?"

"You remember that entire deal we all made with you and Barry, the one about you two keeping your mouths shut about Flashpoint and our lives there?" Seth nodded immediately to that question, instantly curious as to where this leads. "I need to talk to you and Barr, now." He adamantly said.

Seth nodded his acceptance, following the detective.

(CCPD, CSI Lab)

Within the CSI Lab of the police precinct, Julian Albert removed the covers and revealed the latest husk that they've discovered. Upon its discovery, the CSI scientists were told to inspect it when brought to their lab.

Barry turned his head away from his work on his desk, seeing his colleague hold a pair of tweezers as he was about to begin his examination. "Hey, Julian, do you want me to get started on the DNA analysis for you?"

"Hmmm." Julian hummed, beginning his analysis. "Why would I need you to do that?" He all but sneered at the secret speedster.

Barry struggled not to scoff. "I don't know, I just figured we worked so well together last time." It was like he had forgotten about their work together on the monster hologram case.

This time, Julian did scoff his absurdness. "What? That I'd want to do it again?" He placed a sample under a scope. "One shared case and one shared drink does not make us mates, okay?"

Rolling his eyes, Barry turned his chair. Glancing at the entrance to their lab, he jumped out of his chair when seeing Cecile Horton walking into the lab with a folder in her hand. "Miss Horton." He greeted the district attorney.

"Mr. Allen." Cecile nodded her greeting. "Mr. Albert." She greeted the metahuman expert.

"Morning." Julian greeted her, turning his chair to meet her eyes.

Cecile looked past him, seeing the husk on Julian's table. She sighed in disappointment. "New one?"

Glancing at the latest discovered husk with Julian, Barry nodded his confirmation before adding. "Uh, yep, number six. Found it last night."

She held out the folder, handing it to Barry. "Well, this should come as a welcome surprise." He accepted it as she continued. "You've been reassigned to metahuman crime scene investigation full time."

Julian hoped he heard wrong. "Full time?"

"We're pouring all the resources we can into figuring out this husk problem, especially considering the last one turned out to be that evil speedster, the Rival, and we're still out looking for the escaped convicts from Rhino's latest appearance with The Rival. All hands on situation." Cecile stated. "Any questions, concerns, you guys direct them to Judge Hankerson, yeah?"

"All right. Thank you." Barry told the DA who turned around, walking to the exit.

The woman came to an instant halt when seeing Joe walk into the room with Seth, her eyes falling on the detective's form. "Joe." She couldn't stop a smile from forming.

Coming to a stop in front of her, Joe smiled back. "Cecile."

Seth nodded his greeting to the secret speedster and his colleague, his eyes then turning back to the detective who couldn't seem to stop smiling as he wrapped an arm around the attorney.

"I didn't know you were gonna be over here." Joe commented, pulling her close.

Cecile chuckled, bumping hips with him. "Any excuse I have to run into you, I take it." Joe smiled, glancing at the mutant who raised an eyebrow with a hyena-like smirk. He gave him a quick stern look while hearing the attorney say. "You know, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night."

"So am I." He told her back.

"Yeah?" Cecile asked.

"Yeah." Joe nodded.

"Okay, good, then I, uh…" Cecile bumped him with her hip. "I'll see you then."

"Great." Joe chuckled as she left the lab. His smile dropped like a sack of bricks when seeing Barry and Seth, both giving him teasing smiles. He waved them over.

"Josephine, Josephine, Josephine…." Seth chanted teasingly, showing another hyena smirk.

"Yo, is that what I think it was?" Barry said, moving out of his chair. "You asked her to movie night with us? That's awesome." Seth wondered if that was such a big deal, he and his girls were going with them. He's just waiting for Caitlin to respond to his invite. "When did you do that? How'd you do it?" He asked a series of questions.

Whispering, Joe said. "As much as I'd like to gossip with you two like a teenager right now, there's something else we need to talk about." He gestured to the two powered men and himself, asking them to lean in.

Barry looked at the mutant, thinking he knew something. "I'm in the dark just like you." Seth whispered. The speedster turned to Joe again.

"What is it then?" The speedster asked.

"Wally." Joe started, both powered men widening their eyes in surprise. "He's been having dreams."

"Dreams?" Barry asked.

"What kind of dreams?" Seth asked, hoping for a specified answer.

Joe replied. "Of saving people, becoming a speedster. He called himself Kid Flash."

"Slow down." Seth stopped him. "Kid Flash? That's what you said? He said that exact name?"

He didn't nod, but the detective's eyes were all the confirmation that the heroes needed. "He's in trouble, isn't he?"

Barry nodded. "If Wally's having dreams of being Kid Flash, then, yeah, he's in trouble."

Joe paled in fear and Seth tapped his arm with his fist. "Hey, don't worry? We'll help you out, we'll figure it out. Just keep an eye on him for now, okay?"

"Alright." Joe nodded.

"See you later." Barry told him.

"All right." Joe told his son.

"Trouble's brewing." Venom said.

"Calm before the storm, old friend." Seth replied, truly believing that something worse than Wally getting Flashpoint dreams were about to come their way.

Hitting them like a tidal wave, crashing down on them with so much force that it will try and take down their city… Their home…

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Within Cisco's workshop, Cisco worked on a pair of handcuffs and Caitlin was busying herself with Ruby's arms and examining them after removing the casts that dampens her gravitational powers, keeping them from hurting herself.

And the entire time, her daughter was whining and complaining. "Can I use my powers now?" Ruby asked for the fifteenth time.

Caitlin glanced up to her daughter's eyes. "Rubs, I've already told you you're not using your powers until we're 100% sure this won't repeat itself." She reminded her while gently rubbing her daughter's arms, gently pressing down on some of her bruises so as to not cause her more pain. "So how about you listen to your mother and don't use your powers for now?"

"Aye aye, ma'am." She gave a mock salute with two fingers.

Knowing how her daughter is by now, Caitlin knew she was better than to trust her like that. One day she'd have to seriously think of grounding her daughter at some point.

"We have a problem." H.R. walked into the workshop, pushing a blackboard into the room that's covered up with a gray blanket. True to form, he was holding

"Yeah, we do." Cisco scoffed, glancing at Caitlin and Ruby. "He's still here." He placed his work on another table.

"And somehow not dead from a coffee OD." Ruby noted. "OW! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" She chanted in pain when her mother pinched her ear.

"Be nicer." She sternly told her child who nodded repeatedly. Well, as much as she could with her mother pinching her ear and bringing her the most annoying type of pain there is.

Harrison chuckled. "Cisco, comedy of the obvious," He made eye contact with the viber who faced him. "I made a pact to justify my presence on your Earth, and I think I got something."

Ruby was positive she saw a sparking glint in his eyes. "We're all ears." She told the Earth-19er.

"Okay." H.R. started. "I read every news report I can get my hands on and I have come to the conclusion that this very operation is a ticking time bomb."

"That another one of Uncle Matt's upgrades?" Ruby asked, directing to her mother and the viber.

"No, it's not, and why are you smiling?!" Cisco inquired with horror at the childlike smile on Ruby's face, like she was happy at the prospect of this entire facility blowing up.

Caitlin chortled, looking back to the Earth-19er. "What do you mean?"

"You can't spend all your time working on," Harrison looked around, locking his eyes onto the handcuffs that Cisco worked on and snatched them. "working on whatever, whatever this is." He twirled the objects around.

Taking the cuffs from him, Cisco corrected him. "This- this is a very delicate set of power-dampening cuffs." As he slammed them down on the table, Caitlin gave them a close and longing look. "We need them to stop the metahumans."

Her daughter noticed the eyes pointing at the power-dampening devices, growing concerned at the feelings she's displaying in her eyes.

"My point exactly!" Harrison exclaimed. "It's not gonna be long before people start putting the pieces together and figure out what you're doing here! You're working with Flash, Venom and the Violent Trio of Magenta, Eclipse and Destroyer!"

"Still working on a new name for me." Ruby pointed out.

Getting out of her trance, Caitlin inquired. "Okay, so what's your idea?"

"The perfect disguise!" H.R started. "We reopen this laboratory, and I become the face of the new S.T.A.R. Labs Museum!" He unveiled his plan, pulling off the cover from the blackboard which shows logos and images of how the facility would look after a remodeling.

"When did you make that? You drink coffee the entire time!" Ruby shouted, her surprise blasting out like sound from a speaker.

"For a moment, forgetting how right Ruby is on that…" Ruby gave a mock bow to the viber as he continued. "…There's only one problem with that. It's your face." Cisco bluntly said. Harry turned confused and he got an explanation. "You're kind of a known murderer around these parts."

Once again, Harrison-19 was left with confusion showering over him. "You see, the evil Wells, not to be confused with the dick-ish, but not evil Wells…" Cisco clarified. "…He confessed to killing Barry's mother."

"So basically, if you step foot outside this lab, you'll be arrested." Caitlin further added.

"Or be shot. Heard that happened to Harry." Ruby casually stated.

"You're just telling me this now? You rascals." H.R. said in hurt. "What about the cryptogram? What about the message, "Come to this Earth, get a fresh start"?"

"Like you're one to talk, Mister "World renowned Genius Scientist"." Ruby countered, using air quotes to remind him of his resume that he used to deceive the entire team into accepting him into their team.

Neither H.R., Cisco nor Caitlin disagreed with her logic. Pointing a drumstick at her, Harrison nodded. "That's a good point. I guess we're even. "If a string is in a knot, patience will untie it. Patience can do lots of things, have you ever tried it?"" Confusion came over the others. "My dear ma used to say that to me all the time, anytime I had a problem. Now I have a problem. I guess I'm gonna use that adage to figure it out."

He tapped the blackboard with his drumstick. "S.T.A.R. Labs Museum. Think about it." H.R. excitedly told them before walking out of the workshop.

Cisco chuckled to himself. "You think everyone on Earth-19 is missing crayons in the box, or just him?" He directed his question to Caitlin.

But she's too occupied in her own thoughts to reply.

Ruby noticed her mother's thoughtful and distant look, knowing she's inside of her own world and thinking of the power-dampening metahuman cuffs. "Mom." She called out to her parent, managing to get her out of her own world quickly and with a startle.

"Sorry, honey." Caitlin told her daughter.

"Wow. You are out of it." Cisco commented in slight shock.

"Sorry." Caitlin told Cisco.

"Does it have anything to do with Seth and your recent visit with Mom?" Cisco wondered. "Can't have been that bad introducing your daughters' weird father to your Mom?"

"It… Went as well as I expected." Caitlin said, Ruby narrowing her eyes in confusion. "I just- I haven't been sleeping well, but I'm okay."

The former HYDRA assassin doubted her mother's words very, very much right now.

"Coffee." Cisco suggested, holding up a finger.

Showing a big smile, Caitlin agreed. "Perfect."

Cisco chuckled. "Triple Red Eye for you?" Ruby showed a thumbs up, accepting that perfect and delicious suggestion as the viber left.

Caitlin gave her daughter a narrow-eyed look. "Honey, you should really stop drinking those. They're not good for you."

"Mom, I need to be awake and alert, Red Eyes helps me with that." She countered. Ruby jumped off the table and sat in front of her mother. "Yeah, exactly how'd your Mom react to you having us?"

"Surprised that she has granddaughters." Caitlin scoffed with a closed mouth. "Don't worry, Rubs, you're gonna get a chance to meet your grandmother, I promise you that."

"That mean you and she are gonna be on good terms?" Ruby wondered, raising an eyebrow in question.

"That's a long, long… long… road for us." Caitlin gave another glance at the handcuffs. "And we've got other problems to deal with now, Ruby."

Seeing her eyes return to the handcuffs, Ruby knew she might have to involve her father and sisters into this. "Mom?" Caitlin faced her daughter. "Wanna go to the Cave and just hang out? Evie and Frankie are home, doing homework. I finished mine a while back."

"Oh sure, you're not too cool to hang out with your old Mom?" Caitlin made a mock hurt pout, puckering her lips.

"We'll see, won't we" Ruby quipped.

(West Household)

Inside of the West household, Barry and Seth, at Joe's request, spoke with Wally. Iris listened as they revealed everything, shock coming over the rest of the West clan like rain. Everything about Wally's life in Flashpoint, they revealed to him and as a result…

He had mixed feelings about it.

"So, I did have powers. I was Kid Flash." Wally surmised; disbelief plastered all over his face.

"Yeah, in Flashpoint, that is." Seth told him, leaning against the wall.

Wally looked to Barry, who nodded his confirmation, confirming that this was the truth of his life in the alternate timeline. "I knew this was happening. Why didn't you tell me before? Why didn't any of you?"

"Well, sorta busy and overjoyed at the reunion with my family, so… Your Flashpoint life sorta didn't appear so relevant." Seth casually said.

"Seth." Iris gave him a blank stern glare, reminding him this is a serious conversation regarding her little brother's dreams of running at lightning speed that surpasses the speed of sound.

"No, seriously?!" Wally demanded. "Why didn't you guys tell me?" Though it was said to the two powered heroes, he made eye contact with Barry.

"Because…" He struggled to find an answer.

"Because why?" Wally impatiently demanded.

Seth wanted to reveal how Wally's time as a speedster came to an end, but he chose to let Barry handle that part.

"All right, fine, Wally. Yeah, look." He started. "In that timeline, you were fighting the Rival."

"Edward Clariss?" Iris inquired.

"The one and only." Seth confirmed.

Barry nodded before continuing, facing Wally. "You couldn't stop him. There was no S.T.A.R. Labs, there was no team to help you." The news of his son fighting alone did not set well with Joe. "It was just you and Iris."

"Brother-sister crime fighting unit against the whole world." Seth pitched in.

"Why didn't you tell us this before? Why didn't you tell any of us?" Iris looked between the heroes.

"Iris, none of you guys wanted to know about your lives in that timeline, in Flashpoint." The elemental reminded the reporter. "Trust me, you were better off."

"But look, listen to me." Barry got Wally's attention again. "You got hurt. All right? You got hurt bad."

"Translation: Even your speed-healing couldn't save you after Rival rammed a pipe through your torso." Seth clarified bluntly, hoping the truth would help put an end to Wally's thoughts of becoming a speedster.

"Wait? Seriously?" Iris asked, gulping the image of that.

"So what?" Wally shocked them with his response. "That's that me, it's not this me. And I wanna be a Flash."

"Take a look at his track record, then you might wanna rethink those dreams of yours, Wallace." Seth quipped, gesturing to the Scarlet Speedster himself.

"No. No. No, no, you don't." Joe shook his head.

"Yes, I do." Wally countered.

"Are you not hearing what they're saying?" Joe asked. "They're telling us right here and now it's not safe."

"Who cares what they're saying?" Wally jumped out of his seat, shooting to his full height. "How do we even know they're telling the truth?"

"You really think either of us would lie about one of Joe's kids being hurt?" Seth asked him with a cold glare, insulted by the young boy's accusations.

"Wally, come on." Iris jumped in. "This isn't because of the particle accelerator or some gene from another universe, it's because of Doctor Alchemy. For all we know this could be the same thing that happened to Clariss before he turned into The Rival."

"You don't know that." Wally held onto his hopes of becoming a speedster.

"Yes, we do, and we need to try to keep it from happening." Joe argued.

"Why don't we just say what this is really about?" Wally stated. Joe looked confused. "You're okay with Barry having powers, you're okay with Barry running into danger, fighting all these metas. He can screw up over and over again. You're okay with all of it. Because he's Barry. But you won't give me the same amount of leeway, because at the end of the day, you just don't trust me."

"You know that's not true, Wally." Barry told him.

"I don't need you fighting my dad's battles for him." Wally cut Barry off. "Heck, you're okay with Seth's daughters having powers and fighting metas and worse people. And they're younger than me!"

"My daughters have my and Caitlin's permission to fight. We know of their capability better than anyone. Joe's trust and support is an aid that they love as he is their uncle. And more importantly, they didn't get their powers from a maniac in a cloak, so don't compare yourself to them, Wallace." The mutant adamantly told him.

"Guess that's the difference between you and Joe then." Wally said, confusing them. "You don't trust me, do you Joe?"

Trying to fight back tears, Joe exclaimed. "Wally!"

"That's what I thought." Wally said, getting everything he expected from his father before storming out of the household.

Seth watched him run away, and watched as tears rolled down Joe's cheeks.

X

At the scene of a murder, CCPD had gathered and examined the crime scene thoroughly. The two CSI scientists examined the body of the deceased male that is on the sidewalk close to the body of water. Julian listed off. "Petechiae around the eye, the crushed larynx. This poor chap, he's got fingerprints around his neck, he's clearly been strangled." He deduced.

While retrieving something from his case, Barry noted. "I heard multiple witnesses said the man was attacked by a shadow."

"Huh?" Julian scoffed. "So, a meta from Neverland's made the trip to Central City. Fabulous."

"So far there's no forensic evidence that there was an assailant." Barry noted. "No laceration marks, no fingernail marks."

"No DNA evidence underneath the fingernails even?" Julian asked, pointing to the deceased man's nails.

"Nothing yet, we'll have to wait and see." Barry stated.

Julian closed his case. "There's always something. Bag the body up, and I'll meet you back at the lab."

"Yeah." Barry nodded.

"See ya." Julian stood up, about to walk off.

"Oh, Julian." Barry stopped him. "I'm going to that Movie in the Park thing with Seth, his kids, Joe and his- Or my- Iris and some other friends." He really didn't know how to explain his and Iris's relationship. "Uh, if you felt like going, it starts at 8:00. All a bunch of nerds, so you'll fit right in."

Chuckling at the offer, Julian replied. "That's a very enticing offer, Allen, but I'm actually seeing my girlfriend tonight, so…"

"Oh, you have a girlfriend? I didn't know that?" Barry commented in shock.

Julian chuckled. "I'm sure there's a lot about me that you don't know. Cheerio." He bid his farewells and walked away.

"Albert." Seth greeted Julian as he and Joe walked towards Barry.

"Dr. Fury. Detective." Julian greeted them both before continuing onwards.

"Anything interesting here?" Joe asked.

"Nothing yet at least." Barry said, watching Seth gaping his mouth and releasing a yawn.

"Have you seen Wally this morning?" Joe asked, getting the speedster's attention again.

"No, why?" Barry replied.

"He left the house in a huff; he won't answer my calls." Joe answered. "Iris is out there looking for him right now. Even had this guy look for him the entire night." He pointed over his shoulder and aimed a finger at Seth.

"Yeah, I even got Evelyn to join in which I regret." Seth shook his head, letting out another yawn. "I'll take a look around the city in a few minutes, Joe." He promised the detective.

Hearing the mutant's offer, Barry came with his own. "Do you want me to run around the city?"

"Maybe if I can't get a hold of him." Joe answered.

Letting out another yawn, the elemental asked. "Joe, about what Wally said yesterday. Any of it actually true?"

"Partially." Joe admitted, both heroes awaiting an elaboration. "I didn't answer his question because I don't trust him with these powers the same way I trust you two with them."

"Good thing you're saying that, Joseph. But…. It's the wrong people you're talking to." Seth said. "Talk with Wally. Tell him why. Especially now. If you don't show him you fully trust him, then you're gonna lose your son forever. And you're not gonna like where he's gonna go and try to replace that trust."

Joe knew what that meant. If he didn't try and find Wally soon, he'd go to Dr. Alchemy's side and get back the life that was his in Flashpoint. The life where he'd have speed and he'd run in this timeline as Kid Flash just like he did in Flashpoint.

"I will. I mean, I just gotta find him first." Joe admitted.

"I'll help as much as I can and so will Evie." He already knew she was out in the city, shadowporting around in search for the former street driver.

Nodding his thanks, he explained his own plan. "For now, I'll just keep calling him, he's gotta answer at some point, right?"

"Man, I feel bad, too." Barry let out. "It's your first date with Cecile, and you gotta worry about this."

"Don't worry about that. That's one part of my life can control." Joe admitted as he walked away.

"I'll mosey off as well, gotta help find that boy of his." Seth declared, walking in the opposite direction.

"Wait, Seth!" Barry stopped him, walking over to him. Sure, they were out of earshot, the speedster asked him a question. "You never really told me why you didn't actually do anything to help Kid Flash in Flashpoint? Why didn't you?"

"Why didn't you?" Seth countered with the exact same question. "You had the speed and the freedom to help Wally when he ran around as the residential speedster of Flashpoint, but you didn't. You let him fight villains all alone without a care in the world for months. Why didn't you help him?"

"I was…. I dealt with other things." Barry sheepishly said.

"You mean enjoying whatever you called a life in Flashpoint?" Barry widened his eyes. "Remember I was the Speed Force's dog; they had a leash around my neck. They controlled my every move, watching me every second. I was told to keep an eye on you, nothing more and nothing else. In between, I stalked Caitlin." He casually admitted to stalking the woman of his dreams in the alternate timeline.

"Seriously? You stalked her?" Barry chortled.

Elbowing the side of his stomach, the speedster holding it in pain as the elemental reminded him. "You stalked Iris too, Speed-Freak. Don't forget that."

(S.T.A.R. Labs, Speed Lab)

Caitlin typed away on the computer in front of her, her eyes moving away from the screen to the platform where Frankie is eating popcorn with tendrils. At the sight of her daughter eating with her symbiotic appendages, her mother gave her a stern look.

"Honey, your father and I've repeatedly told you to stop eating with your tendrils."

"What? I'm hungry." Frankie whined, continuing to use her tendrils to skewer popcorns before dropping them off into her open mouth. She held the bowl out to her. "Want some?"

"No thanks." Caitlin said, continuing to stare at her daughter with a stern look. Frankie conceded, using her hands to eat the popcorn now. "Thank you."

"OH GOD!"

Caitlin and Frankie's attention were snapped to the middle of the room when they saw Eclipse shadowport out of the air and landed on the ground. She crouched down, placing a single knee to the floor while panting heavily.

Seeing her daughter exhausted and the state she's in, Caitlin's motherly instincts kicked in and she jumped out of her chair and rushed to her side. "Evie, are you okay?!" She exclaimed urgently.

Holding up a hand to calm down her mother's words, Evelyn sheepishly answered. "I… I'm… I'm fine, Mom." She inhaled deeply and then let it out with a long exhale. "I'm fine, just exhausted and beat from shadowporting the entire night and this morning."

"Didn't Ruby help you?" Frankie asked, bringing her a bottle of cold water. "Here."

"Thanks, Sis." Evelyn basically tore off the cap and chugged the entire bottle. She sighed in relief when the cold water passed through her. "She still is. She's checking out places he frequents: His school, friends' places, Jitters, whatever place Uncle Joe and Iris told us. She's not using her powers, Mom." She assured her parent when seeing the look of distress on her face.

"Good. But I'm not happy with you overusing your powers like this." Caitlin stated, seeing small wisps of shadowy smog emanate from her daughter's body. "Wally's not missing, honey. He's just being stubborn right now." She said. She already knew what the situation was with the former street racer, shocked that this man was dealing with memories of his Flashpoint life as a Flash.

Strange, both of them are getting powers, yet she does not have visions of her Flashpoint life. Then again, Seth did say she was an eye doctor for children in the alternate timeline and not a metahuman. She knew her mate's telling the truth.

Unless… he didn't know the entire truth, of course.

"Take a seat, honey." Caitlin brought her panting daughter over to the platform and had her take a seat. "You need anything?"

"Just some time to relax." Evelyn said, wiping off sweat.

"Wow, she's wiped out." Frankie heard Magenta comment in shock. "Must have really overused her shadowporting to find Joe's kid. Where would he even hide?"

"Everywhere and nowhere at the same time." Frankie quipped while handing her sister another bottle. "Relax for now, sis. I'll go and meet up with Rubs, go out and find Wally soon."

"Thank you." Evelyn nodded, accepting the second bottle.

As Frankie and Caitlin tended to Evelyn, they saw Cisco walking into the Speed Lab with a searching look. His look temporarily replaced with a look of confusion and worry when seeing the metahuman of light and darkness sweating bullets. "Is Evie alright? Looks like she went through a round of smackdown with her sisters and father."

"She did not, she's just exhausted from overusing her powers." Caitlin explained, stroking her daughter's hair to calm her down which succeeded, thankfully. Cisco nodded his acceptance, resuming his search and looked around. Sharing a questioning look with Frankie, she directed to the viber. "You missing something, Cisco?"

"Actually, I am, have you seen H.R.?" Cisco asked.

"You missing H.R.?" Evelyn heard, surprised out of her mind at his words.

"That's something I never thought you'd say, Cisco." Frankie chuckled.

Cisco pointed two fingers to his head. "I'm searching, not out of my mind."

"Maybe he's meditating in his room?" Caitlin suggested sheepishly.

"No, he's not there." Cisco moved up to the platform, standing in front of the computers. He spoke into the intercom. "H.R., you're needed in the Speed Lab, now."

With a shiver running through her, Caitlin suggested. "He could be doing inversion stretches in the intake."

Cisco, moving off the platform and towards the entrance of the track, said. "You saw that, huh?" He stuck his head into the track. "H.R.?" He called out. "He's not there." He said when not getting a response.

"You check the coffee machine?" Frankie jumped onto the railing. "Dude might just be brewing another pot of coffee, it's all he drinks."

"Not that, either." Cisco returned to the platforms.

"Okay." Caitlin said.

Evelyn, closing the lid on her bottle, said. "Why do you need him so badly? Need another reason to scream at him?"

"No." Cisco began. "He's going through my stuff, but now he's just being stupid about it!"

A person walked… Another stranger.

"Stupid about what?" The person asked, getting everyone's attention whilst also shocking them. Evelyn jumped out of her chair, clenching her fists with darkness and light emitting from them. Frankie morphed her arms into swords.

"God, I swear I fixed the security system." Cisco complained.

"Not good enough. Who the hell are you?!" Frankie exclaimed, crossing her swords over her chest.

The stranger surprised them with his response. "H.R.?" Confusion was cemented to the faces of the four, their glares still aimed at the stranger. Realization set in and he realized his mistake. "Um, apologies." He pulled out a device similar to a penlight.

Pointing it under his chin, he formed a goofy smile, as he pressed the button on the pen. The light shone under his face, shining over his entire face. Like shining lights in the form of turning cubes, the stranger's face was turned into the goofy face of… Harrison-19.

"H.R.! See?" He exclaimed, waving his device while the others lowered their arms and watched with shock. "Ah!" He exclaimed. "What you've just been witness to was my partner's likeness, Randolf Morgan."

"Come again?" Frankie asked, her arms morphing back to normal.

"What was that shit?" Evelyn asked, slumping down in her chair again.

Harrison-19 gaped his mouth in realization. "Okay, I see what's going on here. You don't have facial transmogrification on this planet, do you?"

"No, we certainly do not." Caitlin admitted, one hand on one hip while wearing a baffled look.

H.R. chuckled. "Well, then, it's a good thing for me I found this little contraption in my satchel. Forgot I'd brought it. It's so fun."

"So fun." Cisco walked towards him. "How does this work?" He snatched the device, examining while H.R. answered.

"Light refraction technology."

Evelyn raised an eyebrow. "Light refraction?"

"I think, I don't- Randolf, my business partner, he's sort of more with the science, but this little sucker is gonna go a long way to solving my Harrison Wells facial issues." Harrison-19 admitted.

"Should we be worried about him having more Earth-19 tech he hasn't shared with the rest of the class?" Frankie asked her sister.

Dumping down into her chair, Evelyn quipped. "Wouldn't be the first time we've had a Wells with secrets." Harrison placed a hand on his chest, feigning a wounded heart.

"I'm gonna hang onto this until I get my power cuffs back." Cisco demanded.

"Wait, your power cuffs?" H.R. asked. "Your metahuman power dampening cuffs?" Caitlin looked away, not making eye contact.

Cisco nodded. "Those very ones, the ones that are missing all of a sudden."

Piecing it together at his own pace, Harrison said. "Wait, you think I took em? I didn't take 'em. What do I need cuffs for? I just got to this Earth; I came alone. I haven't met anyone yet. It's gonna take a while, even when I do meet them, to get to the cuff stage."

"Girls, cover your ears now!" Caitlin ordered her daughters, facing them with a stern, demanding look.

But neither of them obliged, giving their mother incredulous looks like she had admitted to being crazy.

Mentally scoffing, Caitlin thought. "Guess this is when your children don't listen to their parent." She didn't know how to deal with them if or when they entered their rebellious phases.

The speakers over their heads chimed and Barry spoke. "Hey, guys? Guys, I need you in the Cortex."

"Do we have to?" Frankie groaned.

"Cait, bring the girls too." Seth spoke after the speedster.

"Yeah, we do." Evelyn got up, following her mother and her sister to the Cortex.

X

In the Cortex, everyone had heard of the police's findings. Caitlin examined the image of the deceased showing in front of them. "Killed by a shadow?" She glanced at her mate who's crouching on the ceiling. "That's a new one."

Cisco shivered. "Maybe that's what attacked Clariss and beat him into submission."

"And forced him to join the Sinister Seven?" Frankie asked from the railing. "Seems like a lot of work to get a single speedster onto their side."

"Yeah, but not unlikely to think of, not a lot of speedsters around the neighborhood other than Flash." Evelyn asked.

"Probably just using what resources they could scramble together." Ruby pitched in.

"Maybe." Seth landed on the ground. "Clariss is a metahuman. And the Wall Street dude doesn't appear to be one." He added, gesturing to the image of the victim.

"Do we know if this shadow meta is from the particle accelerator explosion or from Doctor Alchemy?" Caitlin asked.

"Not yet, no." Barry responded. "We actually haven't found any evidence to process."

"And we're sure this one isn't from 616, Seth?" Cisco directed to the mutant.

Seth glanced over his shoulder. "I'm positive we don't have a single shadowbender on Earth-616."

"Fun fact about shadows, there is a way we can see what happened." Harrison chuckled. "Isn't that right, Francisco?"

Cisco nodded. "Where's the crime scene located?"

"Chubbuck. Palmer and Racine, estimated time of death is around 11:00 last night." Friday jumped in before Barry could answer, bringing up footage from CCTV and displaying it on the monitor.

"Whoa! Friday works faster than you, San Francisco." Harrison said with a chuckle.

"Friday, no one likes a show-off." Cisco complained, huffing childishly. But his huff disappeared when he saw footage of a large shadow-like man strangling the victim after lifting up from the ground with one hand. "Ohh, that's gonna give me night terrors."

"Shade." H.R. gestured to the screen.

"Come again?" Seth asked.

Meeting his eyes, Harrison elaborated. "Well, we had a meta-hominid on my planet. He could do virtually the same thing, called himself Shade."

"Guessing he did more than just throw his side eye at his enemies?" Ruby chortled.

Harrison-19 nodded. "No, I know, it's a terrible nickname, right? But what Shade could do was vibrate at such a high frequency, he created the illusion that he was a shadow."

"It's how I phase." Barry replied.

"Means this guy might be doing the same thing." Seth said.

As Cisco did an image analysis of the footage and showed the heat signatures of it, he added. "He has to be. Heat signature's fluctuating, redshift is ridiculous."

Caitlin nodded. "Okay, so he is. He must be slowing down his molecules whenever he attacks."

"Must be the only way for him to actually make contact with his targets." Seth stated.

"So, we just have to figure out a way to keep them slowed down and that should be enough to grab him or attack him." Cisco answered, seeing the elemental's eyes light up at the prospect of fighting a shadow.

"When can you get started?" Seth asked.

"Like, right, this minute?" Cisco asked, shocked at the urgency.

The speedster shakily answered. "We just, we gotta stop this guy fast so we can focus on Alchemy. We've got…." He inhaled deeply before revealing. "Wally has been having dreams about being a speedster."

"Alchemy dreams." Seth stated for clarification. "Which we think happens to anyone from Flashpoint who had powers."

"Any meta from that timeline will end up having these dreams then?" Ruby asked.

"Memories from another life? By Alchemy?" Evelyn asked.

"Means this could happen to anyone else who had powers in Flashpoint? Like these are warning signs." Frankie added.

"Or dreams they want to bring into fruition. Chase the dreams." Caitlin told her daughters. "Who knows if they could be more than just dreams or memories? For all we know, they could be something more or worse."

"Hold your horses, Snow-Furys!" Cisco exclaimed. "Wally was a speedster in Flashpoint, and you guys knew about this without telling the rest of the class?"

"Joe told me; I told my family when Wally disappeared after he found out." Seth explained. "He's gone now, Iris's looking for him and me and Evie looked for him before."

"Wonderful." Cisco sarcastically said, hanging his head down for a second. "Anyone else gonna have powers we should know about?"

Caitlin averted eye contact, her family watched her look away and narrowed their eyes. Seeing the distress and fear of being found out on her face, Seth stated. "No. But whether or not that happens, it ain't gonna change the fact that we need to stop Shade before he thrashes another person."

"Good idea, I'm gonna work on Shade. Gonna have Friday help me." Cisco answered.

"I'll supervise." H.R. said.

"You're gonna find my cuffs." Cisco told the Earth-19er.

"Hope to find some cuffs." Harrison quipped before following the viber.

"All right, I gotta get back to work before Julian loses his mind." Barry informed the team before walking away as well.

When the speedster left the room, when it was the family of five alone in the Cortex, they looked at each other worriedly. "Cait?" Seth started, getting her attention. "You have something to share?"

"…" Caitlin didn't respond. Not with her words at least. She rolled up her sleeves, revealing that both of her wrists are cuffed by Cisco's power-dampening cuffs. "I took Cisco's cuffs."

"What your Mom said really rattled you out?" Frankie asked in concern when seeing the cuffs around her mother's wrists.

"Yeah, really." Caitlin nodded, sniffling in fear. "I'm really scared that no matter what you four say to me, what you tell me, how you make me feel, how much you four believe that I can overcome this…. I'm really scared that I wouldn't be able to…. I'm scared it's gonna be in vain. Like I'm fighting a losing battle, a war even inside of me."

"You're not fighting alone, Cait." Seth took her hands. "We're gonna help you through this. We're your support at every step of the way."

"And what if you can't, Seth?" Caitlin asked the horrific question. "I love you, our daughters… But at the end of the day, it comes down to me and my strength. If I can win against Killer Frost inside of me."

"You're gonna be fine, Mom." Frankie placed her hand over her parents' overlapping hands.

"We're here." Evelyn placed her own hand over her sister's.

"And we're not going anywhere, not now or ever." Ruby stated, placing her hand over them.

Tendrils slithered out of both Seth and Frankie's bodies, travelling the air and placing themselves on top of the family's overlapping hands.

Caitlin had a feeling about this. She knew her family would go through hell and back for her no matter what. They wouldn't hesitate to show their support even if Caitlin doubted herself. Whatever doubt she'd have in her, she was sure every member of her family would do their best to squash them. If she was in a battle, be it outside or inside of herself….

Her family would be her armor… Her swords…. Her shields…. Her reasons to keep fighting…

And she couldn't help but be thankful for getting such an amazing family.

(CCPD)

The elevator bell chimes as Joe exits when reaching the lobby floor of the precinct, his hand wrapped around his phone that is pressed to his ear. "Wally, it's your dad again." He said, trying to call his son again. "Just give me a call back, all right? Or a text. I just need to know you're okay." He walked out of the elevator.

Sitting under the mural, Wally rose up from his seat and got his father's attention. "I'm okay."

"Wally." Joe walked over to him as any authoritative parent would do before scolding their child. "You can't do that. You can't just disappear."

Shrugging his shoulders, Wally replied. "I just wanted to let you know I'm fine, so…"

When his son was about to walk away, Joe said. "Come here." Instructing him to follow him so the two could talk without others prying. They moved to the other side of a wall and talked. "Listen, you were right." The detective said, confident that no one would come. "I do treat Barry differently than I treat you. But not because I think Barry's better than you."

"Then why?" Wally asked.

"Wally, you're a lot like I was as a kid." Joe continued. "You're fearless, and you take risks, and that makes you a handful, just like I was. And now, you're getting powers. That alone would make me nervous because I know what I would've done if I got powers. But you're not getting your speed the same way Barry got his or how Seth got his elements. You're getting your speed the way Clariss got his. So, it's not that I don't trust you, Wally, it's just, I don't trust what's going on with you right now, and that scares the living hell out of me."

"I know, Dad. I get it." Wally told him.

Joe nodded. "Okay, so, let's get you to S.T.A.R. Labs and see what we can do."

"Alright." Wally nodded, following his father.

"Wallace!" But a screeching voice shouted in Wally's head, making him stagger and he had to brace himself against a wall. When he blinked, he was instantly assaulted by strange visions…

He saw himself as Kid Flash, dodging a red lightning blast…

He saw The Rival smirking smugly at him…

"Wallace West!" The echoing voice shouted in his head. Wally blinked again, this time seeing him engaging in a close-range fight with The Rival.

The former street racer released a scream of pain when he saw himself be rammed through by a lead pipe. It was the strangest feeling he's ever had. He could actually feel the pipe pierce through his flesh and tear through his bones. He could even feel the blood oozing out of the exit wound and soaking his suit.

Wally screamed in pain and agony, sliding down the wall and landing on the ground.

"Wally." Joe rushed to his screaming son, finding him collapsed on the floor. "Wally!"

But no matter how much Joe tended to his son, he was screaming louder and louder still.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Inside of his workshop, Cisco continued to work on countermeasures against Shade. While working on the computer, he lowered his glass of water and continued his work after a quick sip.

"Ah." He sighed in relief, feeling hydrated again. The monitor beeped throughout his work.

"Hey, Cisco." Caitlin got his attention when stepping into the workshop.

"Yes?" Cisco glanced at her.

Having rolled up her sleeves, Caitlin, as she took off the cuffs, confessed. "I took your cuffs."

"Why?" Cisco stopped working.

"Because I need them." Caitlin said, steeling herself for the question she knew was coming. She slyly took hold of his glass and raised it.

Cisco narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Is this some sort of, um, bold fashion choice, or some freaky-deaky thing you and Seth got going on, cause you're not a metahuman-"

He stopped talking when Caitlin held up his glass of water, and with a mere flex of her hand, a cryogenic wave of ice came over the entire glass and its contents. Cisco watched with shock when it froze in an instant.

He couldn't help but gape both eyes and mouth in shock at what she just did. Caitlin Snow, his best friend, just showed that she has the exact same powers as her formerly evil doppelganger, Killer Frost…

Meaning that Killer Frost would reveal herself on this Earth… as well.

"Surprise." Caitlin sheepishly said, the look of shock still fresh on his face. She turned it around carefully, showing that the water was completely frozen inside of the glass and it was completely immovable. Cisco shot up from his chair, snatching the cold glass and looked it over. "It started a few months ago."

Connecting the dots in his mind, Cisco understood. "That's why you and Seth went to see your mom, to see if she could help you."

"But she can't. I've run every test." Caitlin revealed. "There's nothing that anyone can do."

"Does Seth and your girls know about this?" He asked while putting the glass down.

"They do." Caitlin nodded. "They were the first people I told of my powers." She stepped closer to her friend. "I need a favor. I need you to vibe me in the future because I need to know if I become… her." She didn't doubt that her family would step and become her support system, holding her afloat if she was ever to become one with the cold, frosty transforming depths of Cocytus that'd devour her and spit her out again as Killer Frost.

He could see the fear on her face, terrified of becoming Killer Frost. "You're not gonna become her, okay." He told her, inwardly, he also didn't want to vibe his own friend. "I have a feeling Seth told you this himself, but just because you have powers doesn't mean you're gonna turn into Killer Frost."

Caitlin fought back the tears as much as she could. "I think it might. Please, I just need to know for sure." She then said something she hadn't even told her family. "I need to know if I become evil, because if I do, I have to leave and never come back."

"No way, you'd leave your family? Frankie? Ruby? Evelyn? Seth? You'd leave them?" Cisco asked in disbelief, not believing the words coming out of Caitlin's mouth.

"It's better than me hurting them, Cisco." Caitlin couldn't imagine anything worse than that. "Please."

Cisco knew she wouldn't change her mind no matter what he told her. The viber reached out and took hold of her hand.

As soon as he did, he was hit with flashing lights… as the vibe was brought to him.

X

Cisco found himself inside of a forest… Standing in the middle of it and looking around.

.

A strange sound of something flying through the air made him turn around…

He saw himself as Vibe…. Dodging an… Icicle…

He saw himself get back to his full height, thrusting his hand releasing a vibe blast with a grunt….

His target… His opponent… The woman who is his best friend… Killer Frost… Dodging the attack before Caitlin Snow launched another ice spear after him….

When her first one didn't hit its mark… She fired a second one…

Vibe countered with his vibe blast…

The two attacks… One of ice… The other of trans-dimensional energy… Colliding with one another and canceling each other out…

Killer Frost continued her attacks, throwing another wave of icicles after the viber who dodged…

Not showing the slightest concern for the man who was once her best friend…

The vibe ended, bringing him out of it with another series of flashing lights…

X

Having been brought out of his vibe, Cisco gasped in shock. His mind trying to make sense of what he just saw while letting go of Caitlin's hand, parts of him not wanting to vibe another vision of the two of them fighting once more.

Caitlin watched his eyes go wide, a knot turning inside of her and her fear rising up inside of her core like magma out of a volcano. "And?"

Shaking himself out of the fear and strange feeling from the vibe, Cisco replied. "I didn't see anything." Caitlin let out a deep sigh of relief, exhaling the withheld air she's been keeping in for the entire day. "You're fine." He lied.

"Oh, thank goodness. Thank you." Caitlin embraced her dear friend. Cisco wrapped his arms around her and blinked rapidly, not liking that he had to lie to her. But it was for the best. "Please, um, don't tell anyone about this yet, okay?" She asked him when pulling out of the hug.

"Of course." Cisco quickly thought of something to cut the tension, glancing at the cuffs. "Just don't take my cuffs anymore alright? I don't know what you and Seth might get into if you bring them home. And that'll scar your-"

Caitlin cut him off, slapping her hand over his mouth. "Okay, okay, calm down. I'll ask next time. And I'm taking them with me now." Rather than asking, she told him before walking out of the workshop, taking the cuffs from the table.

"That was the opposite of what you just said!" Cisco shouted his protest. But when he was sure she was out of the workshop and earshot, the viber reeled back against the table, horror and fear raining over him.

He just witnessed the last thing he'd ever want to vibe… One day… In the near future… He'd have to suit up as Vibe and engage in a fight with Caitlin Snow… When she goes to the cold dark side and emerges as Killer Frost…

He didn't want to fight against someone he practically considered family…. Not now… Not ever…

(Klyntar Cave)

After Joe brought Wally to S.T.A.R. Labs to inform the rest of the team of what happened at the precinct, Caitlin and Seth immediately went to work and started checking the state of his body, both physically and mentally. Both of them were worried when the detective told them he suddenly collapsed in agony, screaming his head off in a way that'd make a police siren sound akin to a fly's buzzing.

After Seth placed him on a gurney and patched him to the machine, Caitlin finally got the results of his vitals. "According to this, all your vitals are fine, Wally."

"You sure?" Wally asked, skeptic about the results after feeling what he felt before.

"Trust us, kid. Physically speaking, you're healthy." Seth assured the former street racer.

Joe then asked him. "Wally, what did you see?"

Wally leant forward, answering. "I was Kid Flash again, but this time, it wasn't a good dream."

"What happened?" Ruby asked.

Thinking back to his dream, he answered. "I was fighting with The Rival at some abandoned sawmill."

Frankie faced her father. "Dad, didn't you say these two fought Rival at some sawmill?"

"Prescott Sawmill, yeah, and it was in Flashpoint." Seth confirmed.

"Before Wally got hurt." Barry pitched in.

"So, they're not dreams this time?" Evelyn deduced.

"They're memories of his Flashpoint life." Caitlin deduced, following her daughter's train of thought.

"A lot more people are getting powers." Cisco said with a fearful look, which didn't go unnoticed by Caitlin and Seth who narrowed their eyes after facing him.

Iris looked between the various scientists. "Okay, so how do we stop this?"

"I mean, is there any stopping it, even?" Cisco asked bluntly, getting everyone's attention. "If Alchemy could reach you at CCPD, he could probably reach you from anywhere, right?"

H.R. twirled a drumstick and pitched his suggestion. "I have a suggestion. Why don't we throw Wallace in The Pipeline till we figure this situation out?"

"You wanna lock him up?" Joe asked in shock.

Nodding, Harrison-19 stated. "Yeah, I agree with Joe. We lock him up because, think about this, we can't stop Alchemy from getting into Wallace's head, but put him in The Pipeline, then we control the situation from there on out."

Seth gave him a shocked look. "Might be the first decent idea you've heard so far, Wells."

"Why, thank you SF." He quipped, a vein on Seth's forehead popping out in rage from the strange nickname.

"His naming sense is as worse as the Curly Viber." Venom complained.

"Listen to your own words, then you'll see you're not that much different, dumbass." Seth told his idiotic "other".

"As much as I don't like it, Dad, maybe he's not wrong." Wally stated.

Joe accepted reluctantly. "But only till we figure out a better way to make you safe."

"Yeah, I agree with Joe." Harrison said.

Ruby smiled. "I can't wait for the day when someone says, "H.R. is an idiot," and he actually agrees to it."

"Might happen sooner than you think." Evelyn said, not really believing the 19er's capabilities, at least his mental skills.

Joe pulled out his phone, scrolling through his contacts list. "I'm gonna cancel this movie with Cecile." He went to move to a secluded area to speak alone.

But Iris heard his words and snapped her attention to him. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait, wait, wait. You've got a date with Cecile?"

Nodding his head after coming to a stop, he answered. "Yeah, I was gonna bring her to Movie in the Park tonight."

"And we're going too!" Frankie exclaimed, wrapping an arm around both of her sisters and pulled them close. "Gonna gouge in popcorn tonight!"

"Same here!" Evelyn said.

"Oh yeah!" Ruby chuckled her agreement.

Caitlin chuckled, turning to her mate. "We should go to this more often; the girls love it."

"That mean you're coming?" Seth asked, not knowing if she'd be into a movie night. She nodded with a smile, giving him her answer, which made him smile.

"Well, don't not go." Wally said, surprising his father to turn his eyes away from his phone. "You've put your life on hold for all of us long enough."

His sister agreed. "Yeah, Dad, he's right. I mean, go be "Joe West," you're always "Dad.""

Barry agreed with a nod. "Yeah, we'll stay with Wally, make sure nothing happens."

"I told her all of you were coming with me…" Joe gestured to his children. "Am I gonna be the only one that shows up? With the Snow-Fury folks, of course."

"We're just there to make sure you crazy kids don't do anything crazy." Seth joked. Twisting his head around, he added. "And making sure our crazy kids don't, like, start doing anything crazier." His three daughters gave him mock glares.

Cisco jumped in. "Uh, I would love to see a movie. What movie is this?"

"The Shining." The detective answered.

"The Shining!" Cisco spun around with a forced smile. "Oh, I love that movie."

"That's not what I've heard." Seth recalled the stories of his and Matt's movie nights while he was gone and dealing with Earth-2 messes. Caitlin narrowed her eyes on the viber, turning her head skeptically.

"That movie freaks you!" Barry pitched in. "You've never made it past the part with the Grady twins."

"And didn't you cry and shout and jump out of your chair the last time you watched with Matt? He thought there was a break-in that time until he found you hiding behind a chair because of a movie." Seth recalled his brother-in-law's words.

"That was…" Cisco stammered sheepishly. "I was younger."

"Then join us, Cisco." Caitlin walked closer to the viber.

Cisco said slowly and sheepishly. "You sure you don't wanna spend time with your family?"

"I will be, don't worry about that. But you're practically family yourself, Cisco, Join us. It's gonna be fun." She countered.

Joe nodded. "Either way, the more the merrier."

"Let's do it! Yeah, this'll be great fodder for my novel." H.R. agreed, following them.

"Hold on." Joe stopped him. "You guys didn't tell him about…" He gestured to his face.

"Joe, no, they told me." H.R. said.

"Good, it'd be an awkward date if it was revealed we were arrested for being accomplices of a known murderer." Seth joked.

"Finally! The little scamps." Harrison said. "But I think that I have worked my way around that little problem. Watch this." He pulled out his facial transmogrification device. After twisting and turning it around a few times, he pointed to his face and shined a light over it.

The light turned his face into that of his partner on Earth-19 Randolf. He turned around, meeting everyone's shocked eyes. "That's creepy." Seth admitted with a shiver and his face twisted in slight discomfort. The others who saw it for the first time had similar reactions.

"Oh, um, let me just…" H.R. fiddled with the device a bit more. Like a camera flash, a bright white light flashed over his face and returned Harrison's back to normal, showing another goofy grin.

"Did- Did you do something?" Seth asked, both intrigued by the device but also weirded out.

"Did you just neutralize us?" Cisco said with a sheepish look.

"No, I gave you a simple retinal adjustment so all of you can see me, H.R…." He gestured to himself before pointing to a monitor. "… While the rest of the world sees Randolf Morgan." True to his words, everyone looked at the reflection and saw that it was Randolf's face showing on it. After giving himself an applaud, Harrison turned back to Joe. "Joe, I promise, I'll be so quiet. You won't even know I'm there. Silent observer."

"I find that hard to believe." Ruby stated her true thoughts.

"All right." Joe accepted. "Wally, keep me posted." He told his son.

"Then let's go!" Frankie shouted excitedly.

With Barry and Iris watching over Wally back at S.T.A.R. Labs, the remainder of the team went to the movie event at the park to find good seats. "Cool." Evelyn said, taking in the dozens of people and the large screen in front of an array of seats.

"Smells good." Frankie wiped off drool when smelling chocolate in the air.

"Calm down, you little fiend!" Caitlin hugged her daughter from behind, both of them laughing as the mother faked an attempt to hold her ferrokinetic daughter back. "We don't need you dipping your entire head into the vat of chocolate, okay?"

"Buzzkill!" Frankie countered with a pout.

"That was actually a good idea." Magenta giggled in her host's head.

While hugging her daughter, Caitlin turned to Seth who smiled while keeping Evelyn and Ruby close. "You promise to keep an eye on those two while I keep this one from attacking the food booths?"

"Promise." Seth showed a grin. "Though the idea of dipping your head into the chocolate vat sounds pretty good?"

Ruby chuckled, looking at her mother with a nod to her father. "You want us to keep an eye on Dad?"

"You read my mind, honey." Caitlin admitted.

"All right…" Cisco got everyone's attention. "We wanna be two-thirds to the back, right in the middle."

Harrison glanced at the screen. "That's a very small screen! Like, I don't know if we're gonna be able to see-"

"No, H.R., the screen is perfect, okay?" Cisco countered. "We'll be able to see fine." Knowing a question was about to come from Harrison seeing a certain engineer, the viber quickly replied. "That's where the engineer sits when he mixes the sound, all right? You know when you wanna get the Kubrick experience, that's the sweet spot, right there."

"I don't know, maybe we could get a little closer-"

Cisco cut Harrison off. "Why don't you let us worry about the seats, you take care of the snacks and the drinks."

"Great idea." H.R. accepted, but made no move whatsoever.

"Any time, Wells." Ruby told him bluntly.

Realizing they wanted him to go and buy everything, Harrison clarified. "Oh, I don't…" He searched his pockets and pulled out his current money. "I'm pretty sure they're not gonna take the money from my Earth, I don't think." He showed that it was a bunch of coins in triangular shapes.

"What is this?" Cisco took one of them.

"That's a hellbink." Harrison-19 replied.

"How have you been getting coffee this entire time with money like this?" Seth asked, taking the hellbink and examining it. "You've just been using our coffee machine at S.T.A.R. Labs?"

"Yes, and it needs more coffee beans." Harrison informed them, saying he does not have any intentions of refilling it himself.

"Here's what you're gonna do." Cisco pulled out several bucks. "You're gonna get us what we need, you're gonna do that. Go over to that stand over there." Harrison accepted with a nod. "You're gonna get us some licorice sticks, some Jujubes and-"

"Jujubes." H.R. nodded.

"Yeah. And coffee. Do you want anything?" Harrison faced the Snow-Fury clan.

"Already sent the girls off to fetch some for us." Seth nodded in the direction of the booths.

"So, no thanks." Caitlin said.

"Okay." Harrison accepted before walking over to the booths.

Cisco sighed heavily. Seth faced him. "You okay, Cisco?"

Nodding his head rapidly, he looked away from their eyes and said. "Yeah, yeah. You know, just trying to deal with H.R."

"Yeah?" Caitlin asked with narrowed eyes. "Cause you've been on edge ever since you vibed me."

"Wait, you vibed her?" Seth asked, looking between them.

"Yeah, under her orders." Cisco pointed a finger at her.

"Are you gonna tell us what you saw?" Caitlin asked.

"Yeah, I told you what I saw." Cisco said, forgetting that Seth's essentially a living lie detector.

Which the elemental reminded him of. "Yeah, but not the truth, right, Cisco?"

"I may not be a symbiote host," Caitlin stepped closer to him. "but I can tell when you're not being honest with me. Am I her?"

Both of them faced the viber with determined eyes, nothing but the truth would satisfy them. Cisco reluctantly conceded. "Yeah." He watched their eyes go wide and pale in shock. "Yeah, you're her. I saw the both of us, fighting? Like, full-on, Vibe versus Killer Frost. It's like we're meta-frenemies."

Trying to hold on to hope with both hands, she asked. "Well, have you ever vibed anything from the future that didn't come true?"

Before Cisco could answer, Seth reminded them. "Yeah, you did. You vibed Earth-2 being leveled, but it never came to be."

"That doesn't mean that can't happen again, Seth." Cisco countered.

"It could also mean that might never happen, Cisco." The elemental sneered in slight anger.

"Caitlin, you have to tell them, the rest of the team." Cisco told the cryogenic metahuman who lost color on her face along with all hope she ever had inside of her. "You have to tell me the team. We have to figure out what's going on."

"No, it's too late, there's nothing you could do." Caitlin shook her head. "Nobody else needs to know." She moved away to find seats for her and her daughters.

"Seth…" Cisco got his attention. "I'm sorry, but… It's what I saw when I vibed her."

"Always trust and believe you, Cisco. Never doubt it, but this time I'm choosing not to let your vibe dictate Caitlin's future." Seth adamantly said.

Nothing was set in stone… No one's future was written down on a script and said to be predestined to be evil…

And if so… He'd more than happily tear the script to shreds and incinerate every single shred with a flame so strong not even Prometheus would be able to claim it as his own.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Inside of the Cortex, Barry and Iris watched the live camera footage that's displaying what Wally's doing in his cell. They watched him sit on the floor and bob his head against the wall to try and kill time as he is left with nothing left to do.

Iris pressed the space bar on the keyboard, connecting to the intercoms in the cell. "Wally, you okay?" He gave a thumbs up as a response before resuming his previous action. The reporter accepted with a nod and leant back in her chair beside her boyfriend at the main console. "I hate that we have to do this." Barry agreed with a hum. "He so badly wanted powers, and now to keep him locked up so he doesn't get them, it's…"

"It's hard, I know." Barry agreed.

But Iris disagreed with his feelings. "I don't know if you actually do."

"What does that mean?" Barry inquired in confusion.

Iris gestured to her little brother on the camera footage. "All Wally wants to do is to help people. And to see you do that every day, while all he can do is stand by and watch? It's hard being a bystander sometimes."

Hearing her words, glancing at Wally on the screen, Barry asked in concern. "You don't feel that way, too, do you?"

"Barry…" She chuckled hollowly, taking her feet off the table. "Come on. My contributions here are limited. I don't know science; I don't have powers. I don't know how to help you."

After hearing her confession, Barry confessed himself. "I couldn't do this without you."

"That's not true." Iris disagreed with a shake of her head.

"That is true." He countered. "Whether you realize it or not, there is no Flash without Iris West."

The two shared a deep look, looking into each other's eyes with wide smiles.

While walking away from the food booths with Cecile and Seth's daughters, Joe couldn't help but laugh as he dug through his popcorn, popping one corn after the other within seconds. "I'm wolfing this." He watched the other snacks in the girls' hands, bought for Cisco and their parents.

"I'm telling you, it's so good!" Cecile chortled, while inwardly confused by Frankie carrying two cups with nothing but chocolate-drenched popcorn. "But Frankie, sweetie, no way you and your Dad handle that much chocolate?"

Turning on her feet, Frankie showed a confident smirk. "Trust me Cecile, that's a bet you'd lose."

"Yeah, no kidding." Evelyn said while popping popcorn into her mouth. "You think Uncle Joe's wolfing, wait till you see these two with chocolate in their hands. They might just devour the cups all together." She noticed she was getting close to finishing her cup.

When she glanced at her sister's cup, Ruby retaliated with a deadly glare. "Buy another round, Miss Sticky Fingers. You're not touching my popcorn."

"What is it about popcorn and the movies?" Cecile asked.

"Sure, you were about to ask about these crazy kids." Joe nodded to the bickering sisters. Cecile laughed in unison with them.

Ruby looked away from her sister and saw her parents in their seats, worried and concerned looks on their faces, as well as a worried look on Cisco's face. "Mom, Dad, you guys okay?"

Caitlin nodded and got up. "Everything's fine, honey. Hi, Cecile. Good to see you again." She greeted the woman who helped her adopt her daughters.

"Good to see you too, Caitlin." Cecile shook hands with her. "Glad to see your hellraisers are doing good."

"Nice to see you outside the office, DA Horton." Seth greeted the woman.

"Likewise, Dr. Fury." She quipped back with a smirk. Cecile retracted her hand and stretched it out to Cisco. "And you must be Cisco. Hi."

"That's me, nice to meet you." The viber shook hands with the district attorney.

"Don't forget about me!" Randolf jumped into the conversation. He caught a glance of Cecile's face and couldn't stop looking. "Hello! I'm H.R. H.R. Randolf." He handed the coffee cups and snacks to Joe.

The detective glared at him for flirting with his date. "Alright now." He pushed the cups back.

"Amazing." Harrison-19 said.

After a while, the clouds had darkened over the park and every single person took their seats and faced the large movie screen. Caitlin had her head on Seth's right shoulder as they sat in their seats. A large blanket was placed on the grassy ground, their daughters sitting on it and enjoying their snacks. Cisco sat at the feet of the detective. Joe was sitting in his chair, looking at his phone angrily as he listened to Harrison flirt with Cecile.

He was in the middle of one of his jokes, explaining away. "And those are- And then she says, she says to me, "Oh, so you are hot chocolate from another land." I said, "Okay, east now." then she says, "Wait a minute. Do you speak a foreign language?""

"What did you say?" Cecile asked, completely enthralled by his jokes.

"Well, I said…" He faked a foreign accent as he continued, similar to a French accent. ""Sure, as long as I know the words."" Both burst into laughter when the joke's finished. ""As long as I know the words."" H.R repeated the sentence, using foreign accent.

Joe leant his head closer to Seth's ear. "What's it gonna take for you to actually eat someone?"

"Either Venom's hungry, angry, or hangry." The mutant replied, he could practically feel his "other" fuming as he was forced to hear H.R. and his jokes. "Or if Wells continues talking. But I'm pretty sure I shouldn't do that in front of a district attorney, especially the same one who agreed to put a bounty on my ass."

"Hope it's not… Difficult with her because of that." Joe told his best friend.

"Tonight's about you and your crush, Joseph. Enjoy that." Seth nodded to the Earth-19er and the district attorney. "And you might wanna do something otherwise those two might be tying the knot quicker than you can recite the police procedures."

"Noted." Joe said, leaning back into his chair.

Seth looked back to his mate's face. "You okay?" He whispered after kissing the top of her head.

Caitlin nodded her head into his shoulder, turning upwards to meet his eyes. "I'm fine, Seth. Let's just enjoy the movie, okay?" He nodded his agreement and held hands with his mate.

Orchestral music filled the air, booming out of the speakers, when the movie began. The title screen showed, and everyone faced it with undivided attention…

But their attention, a split second later, was divided by a large, growing shadow-like humanoid figure.

Ruby smiled. "Someone's throwing Shade."

"Not now, Rubs." Seth got up from his chair. "But good pun, yeah." He had to admit.

"Everybody move! Move!" Joe shouted to every civilian, grabbing Cecile and ran away with the others clamoring as they escaped, terrified out of their minds at the sight of the humongous shadow being.

Seeing the horde had thinned out, Seth faced his daughters. "You girls brought your suits?" They nodded their heads. "Suit up." He whispered before moving to the nearest darkest area they could find.

A second later they jumped out of it, standing as four heroes again.

Venom peered around, seeing Shade growing bigger and bigger. He was nearing Joe and Cecile, the latter falling to the ground. The shadow metahuman raised an arm, clenching his fist.

Growling in anger, the mutant jumped action, clad in lightning and wind. Stretching out his hand, the tip of his crystal sword shot out of his palm. When fully out of his symbiotic body, he grabbed hold of his sword handle.

Joe used his body to shield Cecile, the shadowy form about to bring his fist down like an abyssal hammer but only to meet the blunt side of the crystal sword that is Venom's hands.

Cecile turned shocked. "Venom?"

Looking over his shoulder, one red eye examined them. "Are you unharmed?" They nodded; the detective pulled his date up. "Get out of here! Now!" Joe pulled Cecile closer before running away.

At the same time, Seth turned back to face the shadow-like man. "Now it's you and us!" He shouted, pushing the shadow figure back and swung his adamantium fist. But unlike with his blade that was able to touch Shade, his fist passed right through him.

And with his stagger and towering form, Shade managed to lash out his foot and kick the elemental away. Seth's body was sent flying into a booth, various items scattering into the air and landing with a clatter. He groaned and looked up at the shadow metahuman again. "Bastard!"

His insult got the metahuman's attention, making him walk over in his direction.

Magenta and Destroyer jumped towards its legs, one swinging her mace and the other swinging her Chakram blade. But like their father's melee attack, their attacks passed right through his legs like they were trying to cut smoke.

But Shade was more than able to grab hold of them with both hands.

"Hands off!" Evelyn shouted, crossing her arms and forming light daggers between her fingers and lashed them out, launching several light blades at the shadow metahumans hands. Unlike the attacks from her father and sisters, her daggers stuck into his wrists and made him scream in pain. His hands let go of her sisters.

Destroyer landed on her feet, looking up at the writhing metahuman. She felt like slapping herself. "Took us this long to realize light hurts a freaking shadow?!"

"Huge shadow metahuman, we're allowed to make mistakes!" Magenta countered her sister's remark.

"Guys, he's not down yet, cut the chatter!" Eclipse ordered her sisters as Shade staggered back, putting distance between him and the metahuman of light and darkness. The younger metahuman watched the blades dissipate from his wrists. "Looks like light hurts this bastard."

"And our sword." Seth braced his sword against his shoulder. Looking at Frankie and Ruby, he stated. "Keep the civilians safe, we'll take care of Shade."

"Got it!" Frankie said, shooting out tendrils from the backs of her wrists and pulled her into the air.

"Punch him for us!" Ruby said, running over to the screaming civilians.

Eclipse's entire body shone with a mix of light and darkness. "Time to work?" She asked her father.

"Time to work." He confirmed before running after the shadow metahuman.

Shade swiped his hand, trying to strike down the elemental. Once again using it as a shield, Seth blocked the attack with the blunt side of his crystal blade. "Venom, I was warned about you." He said in a distorted voice. "Stay out of this, I want Flash."

"Not our problem." The elemental parried, forcing the evil metahuman's shadow fist into the ground… or through it, with his intangible form. Venom reeled his sword back before thrusting it forward, stabbing and embedding it into Shade's forearm.

While staggering back in immense pain, he released a loud and distorted scream as he held his injured arm.

"Crybaby." Seth flexed his arms, igniting flames around his fists.

While Shade was in pain, Eclipse shadowported behind him and whistled to gain his attention. "Hey, ugly!" Shade faced her, seeing her release tendrils of darkness from her body. "You're not the only one to play with darkness."

With a cry, she lashed out her arms and swung her shadow-like darkness tendrils. Much like her light did previously, her darkness was able to connect with the evil metahuman when he tried to block it with his arms. Like they were whips under her full control, she swung her darkness tendrils and tried to stop Shade.

But Shade dodged her next onslaught, jumping into the ground and becoming one with the shadows underneath them. The crystal sword that was embedded in his arm found itself inside of the ground when the metahuman passed through the ground.

"Think… Think we should have expected that." Evelyn admitted with a frown, retracting her darkness.

Venom retrieved his sword and nodded. "Bastard can pop out of whichever shadow he wants."

"Got an idea…" Venom faced his daughter. "But you're not gonna like it."

"All ears." Seth said.

"He can move through shadows; I can teleport with my darkness. We're equals in speed; means I can tire him out then. Then we can deliver the final strike… If we can." Evelyn added sheepishly, really unsure if either her attacks or her fathers would be able to finish the job.

"Worth a shot." Seth stated after thinking about her plan. "We'll be above, you stay ready." He jumped into the air.

"Thanks Dad." Eclipse muttered in gratitude. She clapped her hands, inhaling deeply before bellowing out. "Hey Shady, come on out and play! Better yet… Try and catch my shadow, you jackass!"

Much to her expectations, she shadowported out of the way just as Shade tried to grab her from the shadows. Eclipse appeared on the ground, but only for a second before shadowporting away to avoid another attack from under.

Venom, Magenta and Destroyer watched her repeat this tactic several times. Avoiding the evil metahuman's attacks from the shadows with her shadow teleportation and throwing insults to taunt him into action, every time worked in her favor, and she kept getting attacked by the shadow-like villain.

Well, tried to be attacked by him but without success.

She came to a stop, looking around in search of Shade. "What's wrong, Shady? All shadows and no balls, huh?"

"Ruby, stop giving your sister these kinds of sentences." Seth told her.

"All her, Dad." Ruby held her hands defensively, confessing the truth to her parent. "And I'm impressed."

Back on the ground of the interrupted movie event, Evelyn looked around for Shade but didn't find him anywhere. "Where is he…" She muttered her question, swinging her eyes left and right for the villain.

However, Evelyn got her answer of his whereabouts when a humongous shadow fist sprung out of the shadows under her feet, delivering a powerful uppercut that sent her flying into the air.

"Eclipse!" Magenta shouted, jumping backwards and lashed out her arms. Hooking them into trees she launched herself like she was shot from a slingshot, flying through the air and spiraling around. When getting close enough to her flying sister, she grabbed her. "Eclipse Airlines, two tickets, please! Requesting an immediate landing. Like yesterday!"

"Right!" Evelyn understood, immediately wrapping them both around in darkness before shadowporting back to the ground. When her feet touched the ground, she said. "Thanks for the save."

"Likewise." Frankie nodded.

Venom landed on the ground behind his daughters. "You okay?" They nodded. "Bastard's tougher than he looks."

"Seth, girls, we're in the van. Can you hear us?" Caitlin inquired of her family.

Ruby pressed her earpiece. "Loud and clear, Mom."

"And we're getting nowhere with this guy." Frankie said.

"That's not good." H.R. stated.

"No shit, Sherlock." Ruby groaned.

"Wait didn't Evie manage to stab him with her light blades or something? Or did Shade scream because he saw a mouse before?" Cisco quipped.

"He can turn into a giant, sure, but he's not an elephant." Evelyn countered. "And yeah, my attacks worked on him, but I doubt the idiot's gonna fall for the same trick again."

"Load of help that's gonna do us now. We can't do anything if we can't see him." Ruby said, snapping her eyes left and right around in search. It was like they were fist in a barrel, just waiting for the predator to sink his teeth into them.

"What do you want, Fury? Light up the entire park?" H.R. quipped.

"Would that work?" Frankie asked.

Cisco answered. "Light's gonna slow down his molecular vibration so we can catch him."

Looking around for a light source, Seth regretfully said. "How are we gonna light this place up without any light?"

"You guys can't, but I can." Evelyn surprised her family with her statement. "I can release light from my body. If I focus enough, I can release so much it's gonna be brighter than a flashbang."

"Evie, you could hurt yourself." She heard her mother tell her. "Who knows what might happen if you release so much light."

"I know, Mom. But I can handle it. Trust me, please." Evelyn said to her mother, while keeping eye contact with her father, hoping both of them will trust her and let her do this. "Trust me, please."

"Alright. Take a stance in the middle of the field, focus and gather up your light and then release it with all of your might." He instructed.

"Be careful." Ruby told her.

"Always." Evelyn quipped, using her darkness and shadowported away.

"She's gonna be fine, Dad." Frankie told her father who was visibly worried.

"We know… But it doesn't make it easier." Seth admitted.

Eclipse appeared out of her shadows again, coming to a stop in the middle of the field. She looked around again, but only for a second. She knew that this villain would remain in the shadows until he'd go on the offensive and try to take her down.

But right now, she couldn't be patient and wait for his attack. She had to prepare her own offensive maneuvers.

Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply. Her marks on her face shined brightly, the light shining brighter than the darkness that was inside of her body. She exhaled the air she gathered before, her light pulsating in response. She repeated this action several times, her light pulsing brighter and powerfully with each exhale.

Soon enough… Her light shined with each inhale… With each beat, akin to a heart that pumps and releases light instead of blood….

Her father and sisters from afar could see her light, forcing them to shield their eyes as it continued to grow more and more intensely. Though they shielded their eyes with their hands, they could still feel the intense light touch them.

"Evie's doing good…" Seth trailed off when seeing something move in the ground. He saw the shadow move closer to his daughter. Seeing that, he ran towards her and bellowed out loud. "Eclipse now!"

Hearing her father's cry and feeling the darkness inside of her spark in response to the moving shadows, Evelyn opened her eyes just in time to see Shade jump out of the ground and stand in a towering form, raising a hand and about to strike her down.

"Back off, jackass!" She lashed out her arms, releasing the immense light she's stored inside of her in an explosion of white-hot light, directly at the evil metahuman.

Shade felt the light touch him and he screamed and groaned in pain, trying to shield himself from the intense light that felt like a true divine shine. No, it felt like he was burning and he tried to step back, away from the eclipsing light from the young metahuman.

But he was immediately sent to the ground when Venom struck his back with his crystal sword.

Landing on the ground, he shouted at the downed metahuman. "You're not going anywhere, Shade!"

"Venom!" Seth turned around to see Caitlin running over to him, coming to a stop and throwing her power dampening cuffs to him. Nodding his gratitude, he grabbed them with his large hand lashing out to meet them.

At the same time, Shade struggled to get back on his feet and finally his real human form revealed itself, showing that he's a gruff-looking white Caucasian man.

Venom wrapped his free hand around the metahuman and lifted him up from the ground. With his other hand, he put the cuffs on his wrists, cutting access to his powers immediately. The moment the cuffs were secured on his wrists, the light from his daughter's powers dimmed down.

She sighed in exhaustion loudly. "Remind me not to do that again." She told her parents who gave her incredulous looks.

Seth chuckled, lifting up the evil metahuman. "Not a fan of the light, huh? Get used to the darkness of a cell then, pal. You've got nowhere to hide now."

Shade glared but it fell in comparison to the crimson red eyes that Venom's aiming at him.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

"Ow." Barry groaned, pressing an ice pack against the side of his cheek as he's seated in a chair in the Cortex. "Why do I always get punched?" He complained to himself while the others watched the live footage of Wally's cage where Wally is lying on the floor after having been knocked out…

By his big sister.

When they returned from their interrupted movie night at Hofherr Park, they heard the entire story from Iris and Barry.

Alchemy had tried to call out to Wally again, trying to make him come to him so he'd get the powers he had in Flashpoint back. Make his dreams a reality. But he used assaulting and invasive memories of his other life to inflict pain on the former street racer.

This got to the point where Wally tried to rid himself of the pain by any means possible, even if it meant forcing his way out of the containment cell. During that time more painful memories entered his mind with a sharp pain, resulting in him falling to the ground and writhing in pain. It got to the point where neither Barry nor Iris could bear it and they opened the door.

Immediately Wally managed to knock Barry away with a punch to his face and tried to get past his big sister. But Iris managed to knock out her little brother with a single blow to his head. After dragging him back into the cell, they returned to the Cortex where the others soon joined them after returning.

Seth kept snickering the entire time as Iris explained the events, especially after the reporter said that her brother managed to knock Barry away. "Must have been real embarrassing, huh?" He snickered with a wide grin.

"Oh, shut up." Barry countered, trying to kick him from his seat.

"What about Wallace?" H.R. asked, pointing a drumstick at the monitor with the live footage from his cell.

"Wally wasn't himself." Iris stated. "He was possessed. Alchemy was calling for him."

Joe bit his lip and his fists clenched. "I knew I shouldn't have left."

"It's okay, Joe, nothing happened." Barry tried to comfort him.

"He's not okay, Barry!" Joe pointed to the screen. "This thing's coming after him and there ain't a damn thing we can do?"

Iris turned to face Seth. "Seth, didn't Liv say she could block or… shield their minds from outside forces with her powers?" She desperately asked.

"Who's Liv?" H.R. asked.

"Dad's little sister." Frankie answered while walking Evelyn to a chair.

"Oh, you have a sister, great." Harrison said with a wide smile.

"Doubt she could help, with her pregnancy dampening her powers and all." Seth answered, much to Iris' regret.

"Joe, we stopped Shade and now we can focus on Alchemy, all right?" Barry suggested.

"Unless he sends another meta to Central City to attack, then we're in trouble." Harrison-19 stated.

Ruby glanced at him. "You think Shady was a distraction, Wells?"

Harrison nodded. "I agree with Ruby, I think the attack on Wally and the attack by Shade happened at essentially the same time, so that's not a coincidence."

"If that's true, that means Alchemy is gonna be sending more meta goons with powers from Flashpoint. Bringing more chaos to this city and ruining more people's lives." Frankie stated.

"We don't know that." Barry argued.

Joe argued back. "Barry, we've found five husks. So, besides Shade and Clariss, there's still three unaccounted for."

"Yeah, but that's just the number we know now." Ruby jumped in. "For all we know, there could be way more husks that CCPD hasn't found yet."

"Even so, if more come, then we'll stop them." Barry said. "But Alchemy can't get Wally if he stays in the cell."

"Don't tell me you want your own brother to stay in there for the rest of his life?" Frankie pitched in.

"Barry…" Iris walked closer to her boyfriend. "We can't just let Wally suffer in there. And besides, burying our head in the sand is not gonna make Alchemy go away."

"So what? What do we do to get rid of this mess?" Evelyn asked the entire team.

"Ignoring the problem does not get rid of it." Cisco lifted his eyes, facing Caitlin. "You have to face it, don't we?" Caitlin gave him a stern look whilst subtly shaking her head.

Her family watched it and looked between one another in concern.

"What?" Barry asked, confused about what's going on.

"Nothing." Caitlin stated.

"Come on, Caitlin." Cisco pressed on.

Everyone turned to face Caitlin. "Cisco, stop." Seth told the viber.

"Not right now." Caitlin followed up.

"I can't just keep this in, you have to tell them!" Cisco exclaimed.

"Cisco, it's her choice, damn it." Ruby sneered in anger.

"Her choice?" Iris asked.

"Tell them what?" Joe asked.

Seeing that all eyes were pointed on his mate, worried she might feel pressured to reveal her secret, Seth turned to her. "Cait, you don't have to say anything if you don't want to."

"Can't turn back now, Seth." Caitlin said, acting like she started this which she didn't. While taking off her cuffs, she revealed. "I have powers."

"What?" Joe asked, his eyes swinging back and forth between Seth and his girlfriend.

"What kind of powers?" Iris asked.

Turning her hands around, she emitted cold, cryogenic mist from each one. "The cold kind." Caitlin answered. Everyone reeled back in shock except for her family who held saddened eyes when seeing her be forced into this position. Shutting off her powers she glared at the viber. "Happy now?"

"So what?" Cisco started. "We're just gonna keep secrets from each other?"

"Yeah, well, this wasn't your secret to tell, was it, Cisco?!" Caitlin sniped her counter.

"I did that because I care about you." Cisco countered.

"If you cared about me, then you would've let me tell them all when I was ready." Caitlin said back. "Because this is happening to me, not you! I'm the one turning evil. I'm the one who's gonna have to leave soon. I'm the one who has to leave their family now!" She shouted, snatching the cuffs again before moving into another room.

Her daughters watched her leave, and not even a second later, immediately followed her. "Are you three-"

"Wells, shut it." Seth stopped H.R. with a glare. "She's their mother, nothing's gonna happen to them or her."

"I vibed the two of us fighting each other in the future." Cisco informed the team, reminding the mutant again and made him clench his fists. "She was Killer Frost."

"She was someone with Killer Frost's powers and looks, which doesn't make her a villain, Cisco." Seth reminded him in an enraged tone. "And you had no right to take away Caitlin's choice like that. Not now, not ever!"

"Seth, I'm comfortable with keeping secrets like this, not like Caitlin and like you did when you first came here to this world." Cisco countered.

"What? You mean me not telling you of my poisoned state?" Seth scoffed his disbelief, not believing the words coming from Cisco. "Cisco, this is nothing like what's happening with Caitlin. It's got nothing to do with it, for that matter." Gesturing to himself with a fist on his chest, he continued. "I was a dying man back then. I was poisoned by the biggest blood-thirsty monster this world has ever seen, who dragged my sister into another universe back then. I only wanted three things back then:"

"Saving my baby sister, save as many people as I could here, and make sure I'd take Carnage down with all of my might, or die trying." Seth snarled. "It's not the same with Caitlin, and I don't give a rat's ass about your vibes now. I refuse to believe that the woman I love is gonna turn into an evil villain because of your powers seeing a vision. Nothing is set in stone. And why are you of all people forcing her to do this, Cisco?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Cisco asked.

"When you were about to open a breach to Earth-2, you were afraid, terrified because you had met Reverb and was convinced you'd turn into that maniac if you ended up doing the same thing as him, especially because you had the same powers." Seth bluntly said. "You were so scared of going to the Dark Side, Matt and Barry were there to help you realize that wouldn't happen. That Reverb wouldn't happen. But you seem so sure that Killer Frost will appear on this Earth. Cait's gonna be fine, even with her powers manifesting now. Your vibe won't happen. No matter what. And they might have the same powers, but what matters is here!" He placed a clenched fist over his heart.

"The heart…" Seth clenched his hand, igniting flames. "Not the powers!" He shouted, his anger getting the best of him, and he accidentally punched the console, leaving a scorched imprint of his handiwork. Pulling his fist out of the hole, he walked after his family.

The others watched him with mixed expressions.

X

Entering the room and closing the door behind him, Seth turned his eyes to Caitlin who was surrounded by their daughters. "Did I miss anything?" He quipped, walking over to them.

Caitlin chuckled, shaking her head. "Sounds like we missed something. You didn't break anything in there did you?" She asked worriedly.

As he took a seat in a wheelchair, he admitted. "You might find an interesting imprint of my fist in the console next time you use it."

"Geez Dad, and that was Cisco." Ruby chuckled.

"Didn't like how he sounded, like that vibe of his was actually how everything would come to be." Seth stated.

Frankie nodded her understanding. Turning to her mother, she asked. "Mom, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, honey." She said whilst securing her power-dampening cuffs. "I'm fine, I'm just…"

"Deciding on where to leave." Evelyn finished her thought, her mother pointing her eyes downwards to avert eye contact with her family.

"I don't see any other option honey. I don't want to leave you guys."

Seth shared a look with all of his daughters, seeing looks of agreement pointing at him. He had one of his own and he felt his "other" do the same. Giving them all a look of gratitude, he turned to Caitlin whose eyes remained stuck on the ground.

"So, where'd you wanna go then, Cait? When are we gonna pack?" Seth asked, leaning back in his chair with a smirk.

Caitlin's head snapped right back, surprising her family when it didn't snap off. "What was that?"

Tapping her knee with his fingers, Seth's smirk widened. "You didn't actually think we'd let you go off all alone, did you?"

"We're a family, Mom." Ruby hugged her mother from the side.

"Wherever you go, we're going." Evelyn hugged her from the other side.

"Whatever you're going through, we're gonna help you out." Frankie said, hugging her mother from behind.

Seth took Caitlin's hands. "We're not leaving alone to deal with what you're going through. No matter how much you think or believe that you'll become Killer Frost, I vow to you here and now that you won't face anything like that alone."

"You… You mean that?" Caitlin asked. "You'd go with me? Anywhere?"

"Anywhere and everywhere, just not Detroit." Seth added, getting curious looks from his entire family. "Place is not to my taste." He vaguely admitted.

His family knew they had to ask him for a story at some point.

"But we're with you, Cait. We're family, none of us deal with anything alone or stand alone. We're there to support you through it all." He stated.

"I ever tell you guys how much I love you?" Caitlin smiled.

"Probably not enough." Ruby chortled, kissing her mother's cheek.

"Well, I love you all very, very, very much." Caitlin said lovingly, her eyes going between her lovely daughters. She then faced her mate, mouthing the same sentence to him.

Instead of relying on his words, he showed his love with a kiss, leaning forward and placing his lips on top of hers. It was a meaningful kiss, but was only brief so the parents wouldn't accidently gross out their daughters. Like any normal child, they don't wanna see their parents make out in front of them. Short it might have been, but it was enough for the two to convey their feelings for one another.

It was enough for one another to recognize the love they feel for each other, their passion…. Their entire being that is devoted to one another.

"So where are we going?" Evelyn asked excitedly, unable to contain her excitement. "Hawaii, maybe?"

"I know 616's Hawaii, but Earth-1's, that is still left unexplored." Seth chuckled.

"Sounds like a destination." Ruby smiled widely.

"I second that." Frankie agreed.

"Same here." Caitlin pitched in, agreeing with her family.

Their discussion of where to go came to a halt when the door opened up. "Hey." Barry greeted them, walking into the room. They nodded their greetings and the speedster walked over to them, leaning against a nearby table. "How long have you guys known?"

"I knew for a few months, but Seth didn't until he came out of the Speed Force." Caitlin answered.

"You didn't know until you came out?" Barry directed to Seth.

The mutant responded. "It's kind of what happened right after I came out of the Speed Force, I kept getting headaches when I thought back to the night after we celebrated Zoom's defeat. Sometimes I'd even get nosebleeds, or my eyes would bleed from the intense pain."

"Awesome." Barry said.

Caitlin pitched in, jumping into the conversation. "At first, when my powers manifested… I didn't want to accept what was happening to me. But then I had to. So then, after telling my family, I tried to suppress my powers. There's no suppressing these powers." She said, gesturing to her hands. Her eyes met her mate's. "I just can't believe that this is my life."

"I've told you before, and I'll tell you again, these powers don't define you. They don't automatically make you a villain." Seth told her. "What matters is what you do with these powers, Cait. This might be your life now, and yeah, it's completely turned upside down now, but it doesn't have to be a bad one. Sometimes the greatest things to happen come from the strangest events."

"Like a certain elemental dropping into our world." Caitlin teased with a smile.

"Yeah." Seth took her hand again. "This is your life now and it's changed but you decide if it's for the better or not."

"It shouldn't have changed at all." The entire family snapped their eyes to the speedster who shook his head, wearing a regretful expression. "None of what's happening to any of you should be."

"Come again?" Seth asked.

"What do you mean, "Any of us"?" Caitlin inquired skeptically.

"I mean…" Barry exhaled deeply. "Doctor Alchemy, Wally, you getting powers, Seth and your family being dragged into the Speed Force. Heck, maybe this mess with the 616ers too. Even Dante being dead in this timeline. It's all because I created Flashpoint. Even Iris, who…"

"What's wrong with her?" Evelyn asked.

All while hearing the Scarlet Speedster sing, Caitlin's hand went to her lower abdomen, feeling another void inside of her, like something is truly missing from within her… From her life.

"I don't know…" Barry continued. "I think she's disappointed that she doesn't have powers and everyone else does. And no matter what I do now, everything's different."

With a pale look of shock, Caitlin asked slowly. "So, none of this happened before? My powers, my family getting dragged off into a thunderstorm of all places?"

"And we wouldn't have 616 villains running amok in our city?" Seth muttered.

Shaking his head, Barry regretfully said. "I'm sorry, Caitlin, Seth." He apologized to them, but his words were directed to the entire family, feeling like he has done them more harm than anyone else.

The door into the room opened up and Iris entered. "Wally's up." He informed.

They faced her and nodded. "Okay." Barry accepted.

Caitlin gave the speedster a glare before standing up. "Girls come on." She had them follow her and her mate followed, wearing a worried expression on his face. Barry followed them, wearing an expression of regret.

Walking towards the medbay, they saw that Wally was lying on a gurney. Joe stood by his side, asking him. "How you feeling?"

"I've been better." Wally quipped in a tired and exhausted voice.

"What do we do?" Iris asked them all.

"We gotta come up with something." Joe said.

"Like what? For all we know, Alchemy will just keep on tormenting Wally like this until he stops functioning." Ruby bluntly said.

"Then use me." Wally groaned.

"What was that, Wallace?" H.R. inquired.

"No. No, no, hell no." The detective shook his head in denial.

Wally got up to a sitting. "Alchemy's calling for me to go to him. Follow me to where he is, and we can stop him."

Barry shook his head. "No, we're not asking you to do that."

"It's either that or I stop functioning completely." Wally said. "This is our chance to stop him, we have to do it." Joe seemed against the idea completely. "Dad, he wants me, he's hurting me, so let me fight back." He tried to stand up, but immediately felt another surge of painful Flashpoint memories coming and hurting his mind and body, causing him to fall down.

"Wally?!" Joe caught him, but it didn't stop him as he began seizing on the ground. "What do we do?"

"Get him on the gurney!" Seth shouted to them. Frankie, using her superstrength, to singlehandedly lift the former racer and onto the gurney.

"Frankie, turn him on his side." Caitlin instructed her daughter while retrieving an injection pen.

"Get him over, sweetie." Seth told his daughter, helping her turn Wally to his side.

Caitlin walked over. "This should help. It's a mild sedative." She injected the sedative into his system.

"What is that?" Joe asked.

"Lorazepam." Caitlin answered.

"Smart, usually works on seizures." Seth commented.

"And hopefully it'll work on whatever this is." Caitlin gestured to Wally who calmed down after getting drugged.

"Is it just me or are these episodes happening more and more?" Evelyn worriedly asked.

"I was thinking the same." Iris said.

"Unfortunately, they are, and what I just gave him is just a temporary fix." Caitlin replied. "If we don't stop it, he could suffer from permanent brain damage."

"He could go brain-dead." Seth regretfully added.

"We don't have a choice." Joe got their attention. Placing a hand on Wally's shoulder, he continued. "We have to do what Wally wanted; we have to use him to find Alchemy."

"No, we're- It's too dangerous." Barry disagreed.

"So is doing nothing." Joe said in his defense. "You heard Caitlin and Seth; Wally could go brain-dead at this rate."

With a valid point, Cisco reminded the entire team. "Need I remind everyone that Doctor Alchemy has a rock that shoots lasers, so who knows what he has up his sleeve?"

"Cisco's right. What if we're walking into a trap?" Iris inquired.

"You guys aren't walking into anything." Joe shook his head. "You guys are gonna stay here. If we're gonna do this, we're gonna do it right."

"What does that mean?" The speedster asked.

Joe placed a hand on his son's shoulder. "It means that if I'm gonna put Wally at risk, I'm gonna use everything in my power to protect him." He then turned to Seth. "Which includes asking-"

"You don't even have to ask, Joe. Me and my family are in this with you." Seth said, his daughters already putting their suits on again.

If they are walking into a trap, then they'd be safe and armed to the teeth, ready to fight back no matter what.

Caitlin walked into Cisco's workshop. She just sent her family off, having them watch the police task force ready themselves for the plan from afar.

While she was in the facility, she wanted to make amends with her friend who only acted out of concern for her wellbeing. Caitlin found the viber by the computers on the platform. "They've just left." She started.

"I'm almost done, I'll be right there." Cisco said.

Caitlin stopped in front of the platform, with a sorrowful and regretful expression, and told him. "Cisco, I'm so sorry about how I reacted. I understand why you told everyone. But I think the fear of me leaving my family, leaving Seth, my daughters… It got the best of me, and not in a good way."

"It never helps when we keep things from each other." Cisco stated.

"You're right, and I'm glad that you told everyone." Caitlin expressed her gratitude. "I'm just not very good at asking for help. I get that from my Mom." She admitted.

"Well, you did ask Seth for help, didn't you?" Cisco reminded her and Caitlin chuckled. "Proves you're better than your mother."

"I don't know." She spoke. With a sigh, she said. "I'm just so terrified because she said if I keep using my powers, then it'll be impossible to stop them."

After closing the computer in front of him, Cisco walked down the staircase of the platform. "Your mother might be one of the most accomplished scientists on this planet… But when it comes to the impossible?" He showed a smirk. "We're the experts." Caitlin chuckled her agreement. "You've probably heard this from Seth and your girls a thousand times already, but we're gonna help you, Caitlin. Okay?" He said, holding her arms.

"Okay." Caitlin nodded, sniffing a bit from overwhelming happiness.

"Let's go help Wally." Cisco nodded in the direction of the exit.

Caitlin nodded. "You got it."

They went to the exit, walking towards the Cortex to aid their team from afar.

From the tallest building on the opposite side of the road, Venom and his daughters looked down as the task force, Wally and Flash moved closer to the area where Alchemy is.

Ruby moved closer to the edge, standing beside her father and looked down at the force. "Think this will go well?"

"No idea." Seth answered. "But if something happens down there, we'll go down first."

"We're backup then?" Seth heard Evelyn inquire. "It makes sense with me being long-range but with Frankie and Rubs, wouldn't it be better if they're down there with you Dad?"

Frankie jumped onto the ledge, looking down at the team with narrowed eyes, focusing them on the police officers. "Problem is, they're gonna think Dad is part of Alchemy's team and might just open fire on him. Aside from Uncle Joe, of course."

"Right." Evelyn recalled. "And I still don't have a bow to use."

"Means you're gonna have to stick with blades and shadowporting, Sis." Ruby stated.

"Means we're the vanguard…" Seth braced his sword against his shoulder. "And you're the rearguard, and protects us from behind."

"We're moving in." The family heard the speedster inform both them and the team at the facility.

"Got it, we're gonna close in." Seth said before jumping off the building, using tendrils to swing closer to the task force.

"Just remember, once you get in there, we're not gonna have eyes." Cisco reminded the heroes.

"Flying in blind is never good, but this time we don't have any choice." Seth groaned demonically. "But copy." He got closer and closer to the task force, but came to a stop behind them, landing silently behind them.

Before standing up to his full height, he used his symbiotic camouflage to hide himself. Other than Wally, Joe and Barry, the officers were completely clueless as to his presence. They walked deeper into the tunnel, descending down a series of stairs.

However, while walking down them, Wally had to brace himself against the railing when he was assaulted by another vicious command from Alchemy, telling him to get closer.

Joe knew what that meant. "Everybody set?" He asked his team of officers.

"We're good. Just lead the way." One of the officers replied.

Wally resumed walking downwards, getting to the base level of the area. Barry found an entrance, peering through it to see anything suspicious. When not seeing anything as such within his field of vision, he nodded to those behind him, giving them the go-ahead.

Coming to a stop at another entrance, Barry turned to Wally. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Wally nodded.

But Barry saw through his façade. "It's okay to be scared, Wally. I know I am. Think the big guy is too."

"Scared and worried." Seth clarified from nowhere to be found, but he was close to them.

"Really? Both of you?" Wally asked.

"Fear is an essential part of every living being. It keeps them alert." Seth told him.

"Then I'm on high alert." Wally confessed.

Barry smirked. "Let's do this." Once again, Wally nodded and stepped into the room. He widened his eyes at the sight.

Alchemy's voice had guided him to a sanctuary-like place. His eyes immediately locked eyes on a group of cloaked individuals kneeling around a monolith of sorts with an open section in it. The section held a stone that shined with a bright, white light. Seeing this, Wally deduced that these cloaked people were praying to an altar.

Walking down the staircase, he saw that one of them stood up and turned around to face him. Wally saw the man, the ringleader behind all of this, Doctor Alchemy. "Hello, Wally." He greeted the former racer in his distortive and echoing voice.

Wally didn't flinch, but he didn't like hearing the voice with his ears this time. After all, it was the same exact voice used to taunt and torment him for a long time now. "Are you him?" He asked, reaching the ground. "Are you the voice I've been hearing inside my head?"

"I am Alchemy." The cloaked villain introduced to Wally.

"I've been having visions of… another life." Wally stepped closer to him, walking past the cloaked acolytes that rose to their feet. "W-Where I have speed, where I'm…" He didn't know how to finish his own thoughts.

"The Flash." Alchemy clarified for him, the young man walking around him. "I can give you that back, should you desire it."

"I just want the pain to stop." Wally confessed.

Nodding his understanding, Alchemy told him. "It will, child. Whatever you desire, I will see it so." He promised the young with speed from another timeline. "Now tell, do you wish for the like that was taken from you to return."

Some of Alchemy's acolytes moved, surrounding them and standing at corners.

"What I wish for…" Wally looked up to meet the villain's eye lenses. "Is all of you gone!"

"Same!" Venom shouted, appearing behind the acolytes.

"It's a trap!" Alchemy shouted, his acolytes taking out knives.

WHOOSH

But a flash of lightning pushed the acolytes away and their weapons. Venom did the same, with a swing of his arm, sending two acolytes into a wall and knocking them out.

Alchemy stretched his hand out to the monolith, using his powers to retrieve the stone in the rock before Flash or Venom could snatch it. The Scarlet Speedster faced him and was met with a powerful energy beam hitting his chest and sent him into the monolith.

Alchemy pointed the stone at the elemental, firing off another beam that pushed him back. But Venom tanked the attack. Wally knocked an acolyte out whilst The Flash was thrown into Venom's chest. Tendrils wrapped around Barry and helped him.

"Thanks for the save." He told the elemental when he was caught.

"Less thanking, more fighting!" Seth shouted at the speedster he saved.

Alchemy fired off two energy blasts and hit the two powered heroes, shooting them down to the ground. Several blasts came at them, but Venom used his adamantium skin and his crystal sword to deflect them while shielding Barry.

"Neither of you can't stop this." Alchemy told them. "The boy has been chosen." He fired another barrage of energy blasts at them, trying to get a clean hit. "And neither of you will not stand before what must be, ever again." He said, continuing to blast them with an energy beam.

Venom snarled through gritted teeth. "Anytime now, Detective."

Joe pulled the trigger, shooting the cloaked villain with an energy blast from his energy rifle. Alchemy fell to the ground, the energy stone in his hand falling out and rolling on the asphalt.

The entire SWAT force rushed into the sanctuary. "Get on your knees! Now! Don't move! Don't move!" They surrounded the acolytes and Alchemy, cuffing them and holding them at gunpoint. "Get down! On the ground."

After the SWAT team swarmed in, Wally looked at the energy stone on the ground, the one and only source that'd give him the speed he has been dreaming of for a long time.

Joe, Flash and Venom walked around till they stood in front of Alchemy, who was held at gunpoint just like his acolytes. "That was a grave mistake." The cloaked villain said.

"Joe, you never told us he'd be here." One of the agents nodded to Venom who snarled at the villain.

"Nothing wrong with bringing a tank to a knife fight is there?" Joe quipped. "You two okay?"

"Better than he's gonna be." Venom stated.

Barry nodded his confirmation. "Wally?" He got his attention, Wally giving a nod of assurance. The speedster turned back to the evil villain. "It's over, Alchemy."

"Over?" Alchemy asked. "You have no idea what's about to begin."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Venom asked.

Alchemy faced him. "Tell me Venom… Did your… "Companions" follow you into this battle? Or did you make the mistake of sidelining them for backup?"

Widening his eyes, Venom pressed his earpiece. "Magenta, come in!"

"What's wrong?" Even through the symbiotic mask, Joe could see the look of terror on Seth's face. He didn't get a response. "Venom?"

"Eclipse?! Destroyer?! Any of you come in!"

"Fear not, Venom." Alchemy got his attention. "They're well-taken care of."

X

The Chakram blade that was previously in Destroyer's hand flew through the air and embedded into the rooftop. The owner herself was sent flying to the ground, rolling on it. "Argh!" She grunted.

"Destroyer!" Eclipse shouted, facing her sister who was down on the ground. But her attention was diverted when a large armored hand wrapped around her entire body, lifting her up and tightened around her. "Argh!" She grunted.

"What's wrong, little girl? Not like me?"

Evelyn looked through her mask, still not able to believe how they've gotten into this mess.

Her and her sisters waited patiently for the call to arms from their father, but never received it. What they did receive was a surprise visit from the Sinister Seven, the seven of them attacked them immediately….

And almost instantly overwhelmed by the experienced villains.

The young metahuman looked at Rhino who now sported an additional exoskeletal crimson-red armor. This time he had four glowing eyes that are so red they're like lasers and showed that he now has two red horns, much like the rest of his body. But the design of his armor was the least of her problems, her light attacks didn't do much against the former mob enforcer who just seemed to toy with her and her sisters.

"No one… Would like you!" Evelyn shouted, shadowporting out of his grip. Rhino looked around for her. She reappeared out of the shadows, on his back and reeled back a hand, forming a light sword. "Take this!"

"Not now, my dear." Vulture countered, grabbing her shoulders and flying into the air with her. He saw her sword dissipate and he cackled. "This is merely vengeance from our last showdown, my dear." He said it like it was no big deal.

"Piss off, birdbrain!" Evelyn shouted, lashing out darkness tendrils.

"With pleasure, my dear." Adrian chuckled behind his mask, releasing the young metahuman.

Evelyn looked down, seeing that she'd become the latest street art if she continued descending at this speed. She shadowported back to the rooftop. "Bastard."

"Talking about me?" Shocker quipped, shooting out vibrational blasts that pushed the metahuman into a rooftop doorway. The force of the blast and the strength of it forced Evelyn through it, causing it to break into pieces. "Thought you'd be tougher…" He nodded when seeing Eclipse writhe on the ground. "The old-timer in the chicken suit said you'd be a worthy kill."

"Not my exact words, Mr. Schultz." Vulture clarified while hovering close to them,

Rhino laughed. "Little girl scared, is she not?"

"Piss off! I'm scared of you assholes!" Evelyn shouted, holding out her hands, forming light swords, and releasing darkness tendrils. "Come and get me!"

Hearing her sister's war cry, Ruby managed to push herself back to her feet. "Eclipse…" She grunted. "I'm coming!" She rushed towards her, snatching her Chakram blade again on the way.

"Oh yeah!" But Mac Gargan stopped her plans, using his scorpion tail to slam her back to the ground. "Wow, this is pathetic."

"Goes to show that the doctor's right." Taskmaster declared, taking out his photogenic red energy sword and black shield. "He did say we're here to take care of the backup, sweep under the rug as he said."

"Oh yeah?" Scorpion cackled sickly, shaking his stinger as poison dripped from it. "I was thinking of putting them in coffins. Sounds more fun."

Destroyer returned to her feet. "Oh, you're still here? Thought it was only Taskmaster, you're not worth noticing."

"What was that you damn brat!" Scorpion exclaimed, charging at her on full four. He swung his tail after her, but Ruby used her Chakram blade to block it. Using off her expert training and skills, she spiraled away and deflected the stinger into the ground, before swinging her blade towards the evil villain's mask.

But a black shield that came flying from behind Scorpion hit her and stopped her attack, causing the young girl to lose her grip on her weapon. While Ruby dealt with the shock of losing her weapon, Taskmaster used Scorpion like a springboard and jumped off him and raised his sword.

Destroyer saw the shine of his blade, avoiding it in time when he came down to strike her. She came to a stop and took a fighting stance. With her blade under Scorpion's foot, she had to resort to close-range combat.

Mac gave the mercenary a scowl. "What's the deal, Taskmaster? Didn't say anything about needing a hand?"

"You have a tail; don't think you need more limbs." Taskmaster countered.

"Then why'd you jump in?" Scorpion demanded.

"Needed the exercise." He quipped, rushing forward to meet Ruby.

"Come on!" Destroyer jumped forward to meet him.

WHOOSH

A flash of red lightning returned to the battlefield, coming to a stop and releasing Magenta in a hurl, her body flying into the ground. With an evil chuckle, Edward Clariss asked her in a fake tone. "What's wrong, Magenta? This all you got? To say I'm disappointed wouldn't even be quite right."

"This was a trap to separate us from Dad." Frankie berated herself for not realizing this sooner. "Magenta, are you okay?"

"Been better." Magenta replied groggily.

Both host and symbiote were feeling exhausted and disoriented from the Rival's attack. When he appeared, he snatched the young ferrokinetic and began running through the entire city at max speed. Though he didn't actually attack them with his fists or his lightning, his faster-than-light speed left them in a state of nausea.

"Frankie, be on your guard." Magenta told her host, seeing that the Rival was no longer alone.

"I know." Frankie replied, getting back on her feet and stretching out her arms, morphing them into maces. She had to arm herself when seeing Dr. Octopus beside the evil speedster.

Otto faced his metahuman companion with a blank look. "I believe I told you not to be too rough on the girl, Mr. Clariss."

"What, she's in one piece, isn't she?" Edward cackled.

Without showing any emotion, the evil mastermind swung one of his mechanical arms and pushed him to the ground. Edward was about to open his mouth, but a mechanical arm grabbed hold of his entire head and lifted him up from the ground. "Do I need to remind you, Mr. Clariss, you are only breathing right now because your skill is useful. But your usefulness dries up quickly, more so if you do not abide by your orders. Remember that."

Edward nodded rapidly, trying to fight his way out of the arm. He didn't have to fight anymore when Otto threw him off the building.

"What the…" Frankie gritted her teeth, fighting back sudden pain that coursed through her like an electric shock.

"Apologizes for my companion's actions, new employees tend to never quite follow their orders probably." Otto turned back to the young metahuman, raising two of his mechanical arms. "My dear, it'd be better for you if you stand down now."

"Think again." Magenta snarled, slithering out her tongue.

"Just like your father!" Otto shouted, clenching both of his hands before releasing soundwaves from his upper mechanical arms.

Magenta barely had time to react when the destructive sound waves connected with her body. The symbiote clad around her body split and lashed out in anguish, the metahuman and symbiote screaming in pain, holding their head in unison.

"I am very familiar with the powers of Klyntar, young lady, ergo I know the strengths and weaknesses that you and your father possess." Otto explained while she was in pain. "I've made backup plans for any scenario possible, making sure to not underestimate you and Venom and taking all of your powers into account." He smirked.

While subjecting Frankie to sonic torture, Otto looked over his shoulder facing the direction of the tunnel where Venom and the others are. "And I am not the only one."

While the Sinister Seven are dealing with the elemental's daughters, he was sure that Alchemy was having his own contingencies act.

X

Venom didn't get a response to his calls from his daughters, and he snarled so loud it was practically a roar before snapping his blazing crimson red eyes around to face Alchemy. "What did you do?" He snatched the villain with his hand, slamming his face against the nearest.

The SWAT team, Joe, Barry and Wally gasped when seeing him repeat the action twice, stopping only when a crack appeared from the series of attacks. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Venom screamed so loud even the heavens would split open from his roar.

With his mask still covering his face, everyone was unsure of what expression Alchemy was wearing. But Seth had a feeling he didn't show fear. "What's to begin…" Alchemy started. "None of you will be able to stop or fight against."

As soon as he finished speaking, a rumbling emitted through the entire underground level. Feeling the rumbling, Alchemy's body went limp in Seth's hand.

CRASH

The wall that Alchemy was pressed against suddenly tore into pieces when something from the other side smashed through it. Venom barely had a moment to react when a huge white clawed hand grabbed hold of his face and slammed it down into the ground, embedding his face into it and standing over his downed body.

"What the?!" Joe shouted, not believing his eyes at the sight. Barry and Wally and the entire task force was left in a similar state of disbelief.

Venom looked through the gaps of the clawed fingers that were clutching his face, his eyes widening at the sight looking down at him.

It was…. Himself?

Or rather something… close to what he is. It was a large being like himself, but unlike him it was clad in a white oil-like skin that wavered. It was crouching over him, but must be the same height as him. Much like his body was covered in a black mass, the one before is clad in a hulking white mass. Large black pulsating veins were spread all over its body.

A large red tongue slid out of its mouth, swiping the air like a snake smelling its surroundings. Seth got a glance of its face and thought it was more horrifying than his own…

A black face with sharp black teeth, akin to fangs, and a pair of crimson red eyes that rivaled the colorful flames of Hell.

"What…?" Seth gasped in disbelief.

The large white titan pulled him out of the ground and threw him into a wall. The task force and the rest gasped when seeing one titan pin the other one against the wall, causing debris to fly and scatter all over the ground.

WHOOSH

During their state of disbelief, a white flash of electricity crackled through the air. Barry was the only one to see it travel around in the sanctuary, the others bewildered from seeing what tackled Venom to the ground. "What the hell? Did you guys see that?" He followed the white electricity. None of them answered, too focused on the other thing.

Suddenly everything changed when the electricity released the handcuffed acolytes. One of the officers was suddenly lifted into the air, unable to speak or scream as he felt his windpipe being tightly squeezed. The sound of something penetrating flesh followed as the officer hunched over mid-air, lying dead in the open air.

When his body fell to the ground, Barry ordered the others. "Go! Get the hell out of here!" Another officer was hurled into a wall, dead upon impact.

"Go-" Seth's words were cut off when the titan in front of him slammed one of his fists into his stomach, causing him to cough bile and exclaim in pain.

Barry nodded, speeding after the white flash. "Wally, move towards the door! Stick with me!" Joe demanded of his son before rushing towards the exit. "Move!" He shouted but another member of his SWAT team was tossed into the air like a ragdoll before falling to the ground. "Crap, the other way, the other way! Go, go, go! Wally, go!" Joe hastily told his son.

More and more of his SWAT members were hurled into the air, falling to the ground with a grunt. Barry returned, being thrown into a wall and bouncing off it and landing on the ground. Joe rushed down to his side. "Barr! Are you all right?" He asked.

Wally stood still, unable to find the will to move at all. "Wallace." He heard a voice call out to him, making him turn to the strange stone that's humming with white energy. Turning to fully face it, he heard the voice call out to him. "Wallace West… Take your power."

Wally walked closer to it.

While trying to block the titan's attacks, Seth saw Wally inch closer to the energy pulsing stone. "Wally! Don't'!"

Wally reached down for the rock.

"Wally! Don't!" Joe shouted.

Wally reached out his fingers.

"Wally!" Barry shouted.

Wally touched the stone, energy releasing in a pulse, and he was lifted into the air. The energy took on a solid form, wrapping around his entire form and hardening into a glowing red cocoon that had completely ensnared his being.

Barry barely got any time to say anything when the flash of white lightning appeared, dragging him off and slamming up against the ceiling. He got a good look at whatever's pinning him against the ceiling.

He was wearing a massive full-body armor that is completely metallic, covering its user from head to toe. Slivers of light blue light shine from within it and also from its eyes. Much like his previous speed villains, the suit had a downwards-pointing diagonal lightning bolt on his chest.

The suit had a demonic like appearance to it, and it terrified the Scarlet Speedster.

"Who are you?" Barry asked, looking into the metallic monster's eyes.

The armor-clad speedster pulled back his left fist. "Savitar, the God of Speed." He clenched his fist, ejecting a large and long blade from his wrist.

"Who are you?!" Seth shouted, peering into the white titan's eyes.

The pairs of red eyes made eye contact and the titan snarled his response. "Anti-Venom… The Vile Destroyer." He quickly swung his arm like a hammer, the elemental's eyesight covered by a humongous fist.

To be continued…

And that's a chapter, peeps!

Along with the revelation of Caitlin's cryogenic powers akin to those of her Earth-2 counterpart, the good of speed Savitar and the Vile Destroyer Anti-Venom have revealed themselves. Seth's daughters are dealing with the full might of the Sinister Seven now as their father is dealing with Anti-Venom.

Eliza and her plans for the symbiote is progressing at a nice pace, nearing its final stage.

Wally was called to Alchemy's side and touched the stone, encasing him in a pillar-like cocoon.

The story's just getting interested…

Stay tuned and until next time, peeps!
