Chapter 9: Killer Frost's Warm Heart

In an instant an entire underground dusty brick wall crashed into pieces when Venom's entire body was launched through it. His body flying through it and skipping across the ground, the floor cracking with each skip of his form.

Driving his claws into it, Seth used the floor to stop his momentum. With a shake of his head to reorganize himself, he looked back up and his skull-covered crimson eyes met the flame-shaped blood eyes looking back at him.

When returning to a stand, Seth watches as the huge white titan walks through the hole he made with his body, each of his huge muscles breaking off the sharp bricks with ease. Coming to a stop, Anti-Venom snarled at Venom.

"Weak!" He snarled in anger, clenching both of his fists.

"What is this guy?" Seth thought in confusion.

"Doesn't matter, we need to take care of him quickly and get to the girls!" His "other" urgently told him. Like his host, Venom was scared out of his mind when Alchemy said that their daughters are being handled.

Both host and symbiote turned their eyes to the titan in front of them. "Listen here, ugly: You can cosplay as us when you want to, but you are gonna leave us alone!"

Anti-Venom snarled, showing black teeth and a red tongue. "We are not Venom; we are Anti-Venom!"

As he ended his sentence, he clenched his fists and showed off an ability that Venom does not have, both of his hands shifted and morphed into weapons. His left hand morphed into a large jagged blade, his right hand forming a battle axe with spikes around each blade.

Uncrossing his arms, the blades grazed the walls and gave off sparks. "We are better."

"Wanna put that to the test?" Venom lashed his right hand, retrieving his crystal sword while large ice spikes formed on the knuckles of his left hand.

Both massively symbiote-bearers released a roar before the two charged towards each other. Venom swung his crystal sword which met a large jagged sword in Anti-Venom's hand. Before Seth could think of countering with his left hand, his arm was attacked by the large white battle axe.

Venom groaned in pain at the impact. He let out more of them when Anti-Venom thrust his axe into the elemental's forehead, making him feel as though the impact actually cracked his skull. Once again, the titan took his head and slammed it into the wall.

Anti-Venom jumped onto a wall and then slammed both of his feet into Seth's head, forcing his head deeper into the wall.

Not letting himself be the target for another onslaught, Seth reached out and grabbed hold of his leg and threw him away. Anti-Venom bounced off the walls, each one cracking with each hit of his body. Forcing himself out of the wall, the elemental let out another snarl.

Flames enveloped his right leg and Seth used that same leg, kicking the titan's chest, launching him away from him. Anti-Venom stuck onto a nearby wall, thrusting out his arm and split into a series of tendrils. Each tip of them sharpened with spikes, traveling through the air and dug into the mutant's body.

"Weakling!" Anti-Venom shouted, pulling him back and threw the elemental out of the tunnel.

Seth spiraled around in the air once flying entirely out of the tunnel. He landed on the lanes, cars hastily speeding around him, sliding across the asphalt with his feet pushing up asphalt. His sword flying around in the air, spinning and embedding itself into the ground. Venom looked around, seeing the cars and civilians coming to a stop to witness the event that was sure to lead to a fight.

"All of you get away!" Venom shouted.

His words didn't reach them until another sight caught their attention, Anti-Venom leaping out of the underground tunnel with both of his arms completely covered in large jagged spikes. His fingers interlocked, bringing his fists together before bringing them both down on Seth.

The mutant countered with both of his arms turning into adamantium, thrusting them upwards to try and counter out the incoming attack. The sharpened, hard spikes around his arms clashed with the adamantium metal.

Venom pushed back up to his full height. "Who is in there?" He couldn't figure out who was in there, not believing that it could have been anyone in there.

"Someone…." Anti-Venom twisted his head, groaning and stuttering. "Someone… Stronger… We are stronger than Venom!" He said, literally butting heads with the elemental.

"Waste of time." Seth berated himself. He knew symbiotes better than anyone on this entire Earth, and he knew everything about them. Including their weaknesses. Smoke emitted from his arms before flames ignited around each forearm. Dancing over both of his arms, the flames reached his hands and his claws.

The flames reached his hands and connected with the opposing symbiote-bearer's oily skin. Seth expected his crimson flames to blaze over his entire body, but that's not what happened. Instead of burning to a crisp, the titan flexed his entire body and the flames….

The symbiote titan took in the flames…. Each wisp of fire slithering into Anti-Venom's form and his arms, claws… His entire body pulsated, expanding and growing bigger in front of Venom till he was looking down on Seth.

"What?" Venom asked in shock at the titan towering over him.

"Mistakes… Were made." Anti-Venom growled, opening up his maw before diving down and biting the side of the elemental's neck. While Seth let out a pained scream, the titan easily lifted him with nothing but his fangs.

With ease and a swing of his head, he threw Venom away and into a building wall. Bricks fell out of the hole when Seth got out of it. He looked up just in time to see Anti-Venom leap from the ground and after him with an arm morphed into a long spear.

Seth dodged it, latching onto the wall and running up the side of the wall. Anti-Venom turned his head upwards, pulling out his spear and then chased after him. White tendrils spouted from his back, lashing out after the elemental. Thanks to his "other's" eyes seeing for him, Seth knew what was happening behind him and released black tendrils from his back.

The white tendrils sharpened their tips, forming sharp blades with jagged spikes.

The black tendrils turned into adamantium, set ablaze with bright flames and armed with ice blades.

The tendrils met each other, clashing and slashing one another. The two symbiote-bearers' attacks never connected with the bearers themselves, causing the tendrils to be deflected with each collision. Despite the power of the elements on Seth's side, his elemental attacks never seemed to be able to shatter the hardened blades by Anti-Venom.

Seth's attention to the top of the rooftop, seeing that he was close to the ledge. Tendrils shot out of his hands and pulled him up to it before Anti-Venom could catch up to him. He landed on the rooftop and looked to the ledge just as the pale titan stood on it, bigger than he was during their initial meeting.

"You are weak, Venom." The Vile Destroyer told him.

Flexing his claws and turning them into adamantium, the Lethal Protector countered. "We'll prove you wrong." He charged the titan, swinging his claws.

But the titan caught his fist with one hand and easily threw him into the air. His legs flexed, the ground under his feet cracking before he leaped into the air and after the elemental. Anti-Venom stretched his right arm back, the skin and symbiote mass around it shifting and morphing, growing bigger.

Unleashing a mighty war cry, Anti-Venom launched his humongous fist into Venom's chest, delivering a blow to his opponent and shooting him through the air once more. Seth tried to decelerate his fall with his claws yanking onto anything nearby, but his attempts failed, and he continued to fly through the air.

Seth came to a stop when his back hit another rooftop… He looked at his surroundings and…

And he was sure anger filled him up, overwhelming him in a flash at the sight.

What he saw was the Sinister Seven… All seven members of the Sinister Seven are fighting his daughters…

Evelyn is dealing with Vulture, Shocker and Rhino who's sporting a new type of crimson-red armor with four glowing red eyes. She barely had the energy left to use her powers in tandem, relying solely on her light powers now to fight against the three experienced villains.

Her sisters weren't doing much better….

Ruby was dealing with the master combatant and copycatting mercenary, Taskmaster who swings his sword for her repeatedly to strike her, but she manages to dodge them all for now, but with each step getting slower than the last one, a sign of exhaustion and fatigue. Despite her hastily decreasing energy level, she also manages to use her Chakram blade to block Scorpion's poisonous stinger that tries to puncture her. One sting and she'd get the same treatment her father got when meeting the stinger.

Frankie was perhaps getting the worst type of damage when dealing with Dr. Octopus and The Rival. The evil mastermind used his mechanical arms to fling her around and into the evil speedster companion he has. When Magenta was sent into a wall, she was forced to suffer sound waves from the hands of Otto's mechanical arms. Her face continued to be covered, but her symbiote mass continued to suffer and threatened to detach from her host.

Seeing that filled Seth with a tremendous and overwhelmingly rising surge of rage, all of his elements responding to his erupting feelings and showing on his skin.

"Stop-"

Before any word or any full sentence could come out of his mouth, Seth's head was slammed into the ground by Anti-Venom when he appeared over him, slamming both of his feet into the back of Venom's head. The pale titan's attention was turned to the Sinister Seven members and their opponent.

The sight made him groan in pain, releasing it in a loud pained cry that got the other villains' attention. Anti-Venom held his head with both hands.

While Scorpion managed to find an opening in Ruby's defenses, his mechanical tail slithering around the girl and lifting her up when completely ensnared around her form. "The hell's his problem?"

Rhino laughed, holding Evelyn in his huge hand. "Perhaps he wants to break them too?"

Those words… made Anti-Venom's snap right open and he opened his maw.

ROAR

He unleashed a deafening feral roar, each member of the Sinister Seven looking at him confusedly.

Their confusion was replaced with something else entirely…. When he moved.

In a flash Anti-Venom jumped to Ruby's side, thrusting his foot into Scorpion's stomach. Bile came out of his mouth when feeling the huge clawed foot embed into his torso, his control of his tail loosened in response and released its hold on Destroyer. She fell to the ground.

Holding his stomach in pain, Mac Gargan looked at the pale titan with bile coming out of his mouth. "What's your-" He didn't get to finish his sentence when his entire face was ensnared by a huge white oil-like hand. Scorpion tried to claw it, forcing it to release him, but his attacks kept bouncing off it without leaving any marks or having any effect.

Anti-Venom snarled, leaping into the air with one jump. With a spiral mid-air he gathered up momentum, unknowingly making Mac sick and on the verge of vomiting his stomach contents. Letting out an animalistic growl, he threw the villain in his hand, launching him into the ground under him.

Taskmaster groaned behind his mask, dust and small rocks hitting his mask and it annoyed him. But his confusion was turned on, making him snap his eyes to Anti-Venom. "This wasn't part of the plan."

He wanted to say more but he had to pick up his shield when suddenly Anti-Venom raised a spiked fist and thrust it towards him. The master combatant blocked the incoming fist, but the force of the strike did push him further back.

Pulling out his photogenic energy sword, he swung it for the pale titan's head. But despite the energy blade connecting him, it didn't cut through his skin, as though it was enforced to the point where not even energy weaponry could penetrate his skin. It shocked the mercenary and he pulled it back to try and stab him.

But the Vile Destroyer knocked both his blade and his shield out of his hands with one mere slash of his claws. Without his weapons, Taskmaster was left bare and defenseless, ripe for the symbiote-bearer to snatch him up in his hand.

And then began the assault.

Anti-Venom slammed him down on the ground before raising his free hand, delivering a merciless wave of jabs to his face. With each impact made him release pained groans, but they were barely audible when the pale titan kept punching and punching him with a rainstorm of strikes.

A crack appeared on his mask; a mark had been left behind.

But though his onslaught could very well end his life, Taskmaster couldn't help but be intrigued by this display of power.

The titan could have gone on and on for days without rest, but his attention was diverted elsewhere when a series of feather-like blades came flying, embedding into his back. They exploded and made him groan, his entire body covered by a smokescreen.

Taskmaster used that opening to get out of the titan's hold, jumping out of the smokescreen.

Vulture hovered above the air. "Mr. Schultz!"

"Don't order me around!" Shocker shouted before thrusting out his arms, releasing a wave of high-pressure air blasts at the smokescreen. Each blast into the smokescreen connected with the white symbiote, causing the smokescreen around it to grow even bigger and larger.

"What's with this fool? Isn't this oaf on our side?" Herman shouted over his continuing assault. "Why'd he attack us?"

"Perhaps we can get an answer to that query after we've knocked some sense into him- ARGH!" Adrian's words were cut short when a large piece of rock came flying out of the smokescreen and hit him.

With both of his arms swinging around, Anti-Venom managed to blow the smoke away, revealing he's holding onto large pieces of asphalt. "Weak!" He shouted before hurling one of his asphalt pieces after the flying villain.

Vulture was still disoriented from the first rock, leaving him vulnerable for the incoming asphalt piece to hit and damage his left wing, causing him to crash down into the ground.

"Toomes!" Herman shouted. He turned back to the pale titan who had appeared in front of him. Shocker raised his arms to blast him with air blasts, but Anti-Venom punched him. The one blow to his head knocked him out and allowed the titan to grab him.

Like he was a ball, Anti-Venom threw the armored villain after Rhino, hurling him into his back. Aleksei let go of the young metahuman in his hand, turning to meet Anti-Venom's eyes with a scowl on his face. "Svoloch'!" He shouted before charging, lowering his head to ram him through with his horns.

Lunging his right fist forward, the pale titan split his entire arm into tendrils. Each one of them wrapped around Rhino's joints. Aleksei was forced to a stop, each of the tendrils around his intersections. He was forced down to a knee while Anti-Venom walked closer to him.

"Why?!" Aleksei groaned.

Morphing his fist into a hammer, the titan smashed it into Rhino's face. One of his red lenses fell off, causing it to hang near his face. Anti-Venom slammed his knee into the rhinoceros-like villain's underjaw. The blow to his face knocked him unconscious and he fell down on his back.

Anti-Venom turned his eyes to Magenta being subjected to sonic torture at the hands of Dr. Octopus and The Rival. Shooting out tendrils again, he sharpened them into hooks, they dug into the speedster's shoulders.

Edward screamed in pain before he pulled into the air, swung around rapidly to create and gain momentum. Then like a mallet, he was slammed into Otto Octavius. The mechanical arms stopped releasing their sonic attacks as their user was thrown off the rooftop.

Magenta panted in exhaustion and pain. "The fuck?" She asked herself when seeing Anti-Venom, bearing a close resemblance to her father but not quite like him.

And she immediately connected the dots that this monster wasn't her father when he snatched Ruby and Evelyn with tendrils, clutching them in his hands before jumping over to Frankie's side. Magenta let out a groan of pain when she felt his foot slam down on her back, knocking her out.

"M-Magenta?!" Ruby stammered, struggling to speak with the fingers ensnaring her.

"Wake up!" Evelyn managed to force out.

Anti-Venom snarled, getting their attention. "Goodbye." He hissed like a ravenous python.

Confusion fell over the two captured powered girls, but it quickly changed into fear when the white symbiote mass around his arms began pulsing and slid across his limbs, reaching the two girls.

"Get away from m…." Ruby's words were drowned out when the white symbiote mass covered her face, sticking to her and coming over the rest of her form.

"Rub-" Evelyn tried to call out to her sister, but just like her, her form quickly became engulfed by the white symbiote mass.

Finally, Seth managed to remove his head from the ground and looked up… The sight of his daughters dealing with the Sinister Seven members… It paled in comparison to see two of his daughters engulfed by symbiote mass.

White-hot rage filled him as the strange white substance seeped into their skin while he stood up. The rage intensified into a wildfire inside of his core… Which then erupted into an inferno when he saw Anti-Venom drop his daughters like they were garbage.

"Anti-Venom!" Seth bellowed, getting the pale titan's attention, making him turn around.

"Dad…" Magenta said in relief, happy to see her father stand up again. But it was merely a mask, covering her sadness and terror of what might have happened to her sisters.

"Weak!" Anti-Venom shouted, walking closer to the elemental.

"You… Unforgivable… Little… Bastard. YOU'RE GONNA DIE!" He shouted so loud even the heavens would have been scared away and into hiding. His entire body glowing red before his entire body released a burst of black and red flames, lightning erupting as well and coating the flames.

Anti-Venom covered his face with his claws, shocked by the intense heat emitting from the elemental, it was akin to the heat from the scorching flames of Hell.

Back at the sanctuary where everything took place, things were no better than where Seth is. Joe is held back by Dr. Alchemy's acolytes, the detective focused on the pillar-like cocoon that his son Wally is captured in.

And Barry is still pinned up by an invisible force…

Invisible to some… But visible to him…

"You may serve the Speed Force, Flash, but I rule it." Savitar told the Scarlet Speedster. "You are only a man, but I am a god. Your god." Alchemy kneeled in the presence of his one true god. "I am Savitar." Barry continued to struggle but to no success.

The so-called speed god was too strong.

But thankfully the hold from the acolytes was not strong enough to hold Joe back. The detective pushed his head, headbutting the guy behind him. He wrestled out of the hold, spiraling around and knocked one of the acolytes out. Another spin, he slammed his elbow into another one and knocked him out.

He pulled out his gun, aiming it at the space under Barry, hoping he was pointing it at whatever's pinning his son to the ceiling.

"Shoot him!" Flash told the detective.

"I can't see it!" Joe responded.

"Just do it!" Barry impatiently told him.

Joe pulled the trigger, firing off three bullets. To his surprise and shock, he heard his bullets collide with something of a metallic nature.

Alchemy's hand slid across the floor, snatching his energy stone that can bestow the powers of those who had powers in Flashpoint. Joe saw something move in the corner of his eye, and he spun around and saw the cloaked villain take back his stone. "Alchemy!" He shouted before pulling the trigger, trying to shoot him but all of his bullets didn't hit him.

"Let's go for a run." Savitar quipped, running away in a flash of white lightning.

Joe was almost attacked, but he managed to knock out one of the acolytes.

Meanwhile… Barry was in the strangest place of all places; it was like a light-blue tunnel of light that he was being dragged through.

Savitar came to a stop, throwing Barry to the ground of a large rooftop, and slammed both of his fists down on his stomach. With lightning fast speed channeling into his fists, he repeatedly punched the Scarlet Speedster.

Once again, the speed god snatched up Barry and ran into the tunnel of light again. This time coming to a stop in a forestry area and throwing him. The hero skipped across the ground like a stone. Before he stopped, Savitar caught him again and ran into the tunnel of light.

(S.T.A.R. Labs, The Cortex)

Inside of the Cortex, both the monitor began beeping loudly and the alarms blared loudly. The combination of both sounds made everyone look around in confusion. On the screen, Barry's tracker appeared all over the city at random and Seth's position, along with his daughters, seemed to vary in temperature. Either raising rapidly or dropping quickly in a matter of seconds.

"What's happening?" Iris asked, focusing on Barry's strange tracker behavior.

"I don't understand." Cisco said. "The suit's tracker must be malfunctioning. It says he's appearing and reappearing all over the city at once. That's impossible. He can't be moving that fast."

"Well, if he can't…" H.R. moved to the console. "maybe something else can…" He said, the others facing him with worry.

"What's going on at Seth's position?" Caitlin said in shock.

"Ummm… Satellite problems?" H.R. suggested sheepishly.

"Worse, Boss Lady. Your boy blew his gasket." Friday announced.

"What?!" Caitlin shouted in shock. She knew what this meant, and she berated herself for not figuring it out earlier with the strange temperature signatures revealing themselves on the monitors. Seth had only become like this when something horrible happened to his family.

"Friday, patch me through to Seth and the girls. Now!" Caitlin exclaimed.

"Already here, Mom." Frankie revealed weakly from the other end of the comms. "It's not good."

"Frankie, are you okay? Your sisters, where are they? They're not answering." Caitlin rapidly asked her daughter, her head swimming in horrific thoughts.

"I don't know what's wrong with the others, but Dad's… He's berserk on this… On this other Venom." Frankie asked while inhaling sharply.

Caitlin shared a look with the others in the Cortex, a glance of confusion. ""Other Venom"? What do you mean, honey?"

"I don't know how else to say it, Mom. But this other Venom… He did something to Ruby and Evie." A loud explosion came from the other side….

Indicating that a vicious fight was taking place.

X

Anti-Venom was hurled off the rooftop, flying deep into the middle of the street. He groaned in pain upon impact. Though he had absorbed most of it, there were still flames stuck to his torso. He raised his head and aimed his blood-red eyes at the form that had thrown him away like he was nothing.

The form stood on the ledge of the rooftop, looking down on the symbiote bearer who hurt his children. Moonlight coming from above and light from street lamps from below illuminating his form, the light reflecting off his large adamantium muscles that pulsates in response to the tremoring earth element inside of his body. Sparks of lightning emitting from his entire body, crackling against his metallic muscles. His long black claws coated with freezing cold ice, forming blade-like claws on his fingers. Thrashing around in the air were adamantium tendrils, acting as though they were serpents shooting out of dark swamps. Wind circulated his skeletal extensions that are around his arms and his face. His maw opened up, revealing that his fangs were coated in both black and red flames. Water trails out of his body, dripping down his entire body.

Venom faced Anti-Venom with unlimited rage and anger, nothing would stop him now. Nothing… Tonight he'd show the true meaning of the "Lethal" that he bears in his title… And tonight, he'd be happy to do the Grim Reaper's job and reap this unbelievable monster.

ROAR

Roaring ferally, Venom jumped off the ledge and reeled back his ice claws. He swung his claws downwards for the other symbiote's head. Anti-Venom moved his head out of the way, dodging the first strike. Seth repeated the attack with his other hand, quickly switching between each hand to try and slash him.

The Vile Destroyer kept dodging the incoming slashes, though several of them managed to make contact with his face. Enraged and annoyed, Anti-Venom kicked both of his feet into his stomach and pushed Venom off of him.

Anti-Venom spiraled back to his feet, only to meet Venom grab him by his shoulders. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He shouted into his face, wisps of flames coming out of his mouth like saliva. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR CHILDREN?!"

"We…. We cured them." Anti-Venom responded.

"You're a plague…" Seth seethed in undeniable anger. "You must be… ERADICATED!" He shouted, reeling his head back with an open mouth, the flames blazing wildly over his entire mouth. Thrusting his head forward, he bit onto his shoulder.

Before Anti-Venom could scream out in pain, the black and red flames converged into his fangs and released in a big explosion. The explosion pushed the pale titan back, once again with black and red flames stuck to his chest, leaving a big smokescreen behind as the aftermath.

Seth jumped forward, blowing the smokescreen away with the wind coming from his body. His right arm pulsated, turning into adamantium and formed ice spikes along every side of it. Letting out a war cry, he punched the titan, hitting his face. Continuing with the momentum, he turned his arm and the ice blades on his appendage cut his face.

Anti-Venom was on the ground with his back to Seth, which was a mistake.

Water drenched his fingers and lightning sparked around his skeletal extensions. Without wasting a moment, he grabbed hold of Anti-Venom's head and electrocuted him, sending a powerful and surging lightning strike into his mind.

While undergoing the excruciating torture of the lightning attack, the pale titan slammed arms into the ground.

With the earth element inside of his body, Seth felt the ground under him shake and he realized what was going on. Removing his hands from the titan's head, he intertwined his fingers and slammed it into the head of the white symbiote. The very moment his hands hit his head, white sharpened tendrils shot out of the ground and hit his entire body.

Venom was shot into the air; Anti-Venom was slammed down into the ground.

But while mid-air Seth thrust his arms downwards and split it into tendrils, each one of them enveloped by a different element. Each of the tendrils smashed into the pale titan, pushing him down into the ground, which cracked and threatened to fissure from the continuous onslaught.

Using the moment where the titan was unable to move or retaliate, the tendrils wrapped around his body and Venom pulled him out of the asphalt. Landing on a rooftop, he swung the pale titan into the air. Pulling the tendrils back, Seth punched an adamantium fist into his stomach.

Grabbing hold of Anti-Venom's head, he slammed him into the ground. Reeling back both of his arms, he punched the titan's stomach with repeated strikes, each blow ignited with either black flames or red flames. Turning his foot into adamantium, he kicked Anti-Venom away.

"What did you do to them?!" The elemental demanded to know.

But Anti-Venom's head turned and twisted in the air, unable to control his head movements. "We… We- We!" He growled uncontrollably.

"What?" Seth asked.

WHOOSH

Seth's question went unanswered when suddenly a bolt of blueish-white lightning slammed into him, sending him flying into a wall. The rage that had increased and intensified his form and his elements had now faded with that strike, his form and elements responding in kind, and he returned to his initial form…

Seth looked up and was shocked to see Barry on the ground…. and before him… Is a large, tall metal armored being that appeared akin to a demon.

"Who the hell did you bring to the party?" Seth asked the Scarlet Speedster, now feeling himself calmed down from his rage-filled moment.

"Some… Some speedster, I guess." Barry realized what Seth's words meant. "You can see him?"

"We're not blind, you idiot!" Seth shouted at the speedster.

"How?" Barry heard a strange growl and turned around and saw… A Reverse-Venom? "You got a twin you never told me about?"

"Lots of things we haven't told you, idiot. But no, he's not. He's Anti-Venom." Seth revealed.

"Anti-Venom?" Barry asked and Seth nodded.

"Had enough?" Savitar got their attention, Anti-Venom moving up to his side.

"Again, who's the Iron Giant?" Seth groaned his query to the Scarlet Speedster.

"Savitar." Barry answered, get up on his feet.

Venom got back on his feet. "Another ridiculous name, of course." While speaking, his attention was split between the enemies in front of him and also his three daughters on the adjacent rooftop. "We need to finish this quickly."

Flash agreed with a nod. He sped to the armor-wearing speedster.

But Savitar showed off his superior speed, easily speeding past Barry and slammed into him from behind. Time slowed to a crawl before he hit the ground and the armor-wearing speedster kicked him away.

Anti-Venom busied himself with the Lethal Protector, charging him and tackling him. But the attack was tanked, and Seth countered with an adamantium knee slamming into the chest of the pale titan.

Without hesitation black flames ignited around his fists that he raised high up into the air. He brought them down quickly, slamming them into the titan's neck. Anti-Venom was pushed back and was met with a series of fists flying into his face.

But Venom was stopped when Savitar came speeding towards him, punching him with the strength and velocity of a comet. The blow to his body knocked him away. The pale titan took hold of Barry, swinging him around and threw him into a wall before tendrils wrapped around his form, swinging him around into every hard surface he could find.

Savitar unleashed an onslaught of high-velocity fists on the elemental, never letting up for a single moment.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

"Boss Lady, your boy's finally calmed down." Friday told Caitlin.

"Thank God." Caitlin said, but she was still worried when she couldn't get any response from her daughters except for Frankie. "Frankie, did the others wake up?"

"No, they're still down." Magenta said, feeling better now than she did before when facing the Rival and Dr. Octopus. "I've tried everything, Mom. But they're not waking up, something's wrong."

"Hang on, baby, your father's gonna come." Caitlin assured her daughter. "Cisco, can't you check on them?"

"Trying but not getting anything so far, Caitlin." Cisco answered. The computers chimed when locking onto Barry's position. "Look. It stopped, he's at the same spot as Seth."

"Civilians have cleared away, thankfully." The AI informed everyone.

"Okay." Iris moved around the console. "We have to get to him."

"And do what?" Cisco asked. "He's fighting an invisible force that's too fast to track. Not to mention, Seth's fighting something that looks like him, probably fights like him too."

"If I may?" Harrison-19 raised a hand and a drumstick. "I have a plan-"

"No. No." Cisco shook his head while H.R. turned around to face him.

"Pretty good plan." H.R. assured.

"Put your hand down." Cisco told him.

Without being asked to or given permission to, H.R. stated. "It's a question in numbers. Cause right now it seems to be two against two, especially now that our forces have been reduced by three. What if it were four against two? Do you know what I'm saying?"

"Cisco," Iris faced the two metahumans at the console. "You can open a breach and get you both to the rooftop."

"Guys, I can't. It's too…" Caitlin trailed off, her eyes locking onto the monitor screen. Her eyes focused on the five blinking dots. Two of them represented Barry and Seth. The last three represented her daughters, they're separate from the other dots.

"I'm begging you, please." Iris begged the icy metahuman, knowing she's terrified of her powers.

"Say no more." Caitlin made her announcement clear as day, taking off her cuffs. "My daughters are there. My family is out there, I'm going too."

X

Back at the rooftop, Savitar delivered another punch to the elemental and the speedster, shooting them off to the other end of the rooftop. Before either of them could think of getting up to their feet, Anti-Venom flung his tendrils, throwing a hailstorm of rocks at them, forcing them back to the hard surface that is the ground.

"That was pathetic." Savitar gave a hollow chuckle. "Still alive down there?" He joked.

Barry tried to get up, but he was wrapped around in a large white fist that lifted him up. Groaning in pain the feeling of the fist squeezing him, the speedster looked into the white titan's eyes.

Anti-Venom snarled, opening up his maw and turned his head, ready to devour the Scarlet Speedster.

"That's enough!" Savitar snarled, clenching an open fist with his eyes turning from blue to shining dark black.

White-Blueish lightning sparked around the titan's body, making him release the speedster. The white symbiote fell to his knees in pain. Seth and Barry watched as the lightning around the titan's body intensified and converged to his chest, forming a circle there…

And taking the form of a reverse lightning bolt symbol on his chest.

"What?" Venom asked.

"He's controlling it…?" Barry said in shock when seeing the white titan didn't move a muscle, listening to the armored speedster.

"Impressive, right?" Savitar gave a hollow chuckle. "I can do things you can't possibly imagine, Flash. You are limited, flawed… But I am a god. Limitless speed… Limitless power… Unlimited possibilities." He stepped closer to the Scarlet Speedster. "You are only a shadow beneath my throne. You are the past. Whereas I…" He snatched his head, forcing him up. "I am the future, Flash." He said, ejecting a blade close to his throat.

As that happened, Anti-Venom slammed his foot down on Seth's head, keeping him from moving. "Weakling. Nothing… But a mere weakling. You pale in comparison to us, Venom. You are the plague, the poison… The disease… We are the cure. Your daughters were the first of many to be cured."

Seth gritted his teeth in rage, displeased and angered at this bastard mentioning his children.

Anti-Venom clenched an arm, the entire appendage morphing into a scythe-like blade.

Both speed god and anti-symbiote are prepared to eviscerate their individual targets.

A breach opened behind them, both Caitlin and Cisco jumping out of it. The viber fell to his knees, groaning in pain when feeling a violent migraine.

Caitlin paled when seeing her mate under the blade of the symbiote bearer that appeared to be the opposite of him. Glancing to the side, she saw that Barry was held up by an invisible force. "I can't see it."

She heard a roar and then saw Anti-Venom turn to the sound of their voices. Strangely he lowered his sword.

Cisco felt their eyes while dealing with his immense pain. "Just do it!"

With both of her hands thrusting out in their own directions, Caitlin unleashed icy blasts at whatever enemies that are in front of them. One ice blast connected with the invisible force, freezing it quickly and showed its form now that it was covered in ice. The other one connected with Anti-Venom who didn't resist the attack and let it cover his free arm that is not morphed into a weapon.

But with a flinch of his fingers, the Vile Destroyer crushed the ice around his appendage to pieces, absorbing whatever was left on his skin. He removed his foot from Seth, giving a last glance at Caitlin, before thrusting his blade into the frozen body of the speed god.

The ice coating his armor shattered and he was once again able to move. Savitar, still invisible to most, sped away with Anti-Venom. Barry fell to the ground as he was free from the hold.

"Nice save." Seth said, getting up to his feet.

Caitlin looked at him with eyes of horror. "Seth, the girls?"

"Come here." Seth rushed to her, picking her up and leaped off the rooftop. He leaped across the air and landed on the rooftop of the adjacent building. "Magenta?"

"Here." Frankie said weakly, waving them over where she is with her unconscious and hurt sisters. Caitlin rushed to her side. While the symbiote around his body slithered back inside of him, he looked around and saw that the Sinister Seven had disappeared. "They're not waking up…" Frankie said tearfully, holding her sisters' heads.

Seth leaped to their side, dropping down to his knees and took Evelyn's head. "Evie? Evie, honey, wake up?!" He tried to shake her awake but to no success.

"Honey. Rubs." Caitlin tried to wake her up. "Honey?" She lowered her head to her daughter's chest, checking her heartbeat. "There's a heartbeat."

"And they're breathing, too." Seth said, removing his fingers from Evelyn's nose.

"They're alive?" Frankie asked, tears never stopping to roll off her face.

"Yeah…" Seth trailed off.

He didn't wanna say "For now…."

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Inside of the medbay, Cisco was lying on a gurney and Barry was sitting in his chair. Both of them groaned. Standing in front of a monitor is the Frost-Flame Iron Knight suit that was left behind by Matt Stark. The suit itself was empty, being operated by the AI, Friday.

Caitlin and Seth… The two doctors are busy somewhere else…

Rubbing his forehead, Cisco groaned in his bed. "Friday, what's the status of our sore, sore bodies."

"Aside from the annoying whining…" The Ai quipped, turning around to meet the metahumans' eyes. "Barry's already healing, he'll be fine shortly. And with Cisco, the MRI I did of his brain shows changes in the capillary morphology."

"English please." Cisco pleaded.

"Think of it like a mini-stroke." Friday stated. Cisco widened his eyes. "I'd refrain from intra-dimensional breaching."

"Wait, wait, Dr. Iron." Cisco sat up. "Did you just say mini-stroke? What's the deal with that? You can't just gloss over something like that." At this point, one would have to wonder if the viber knew that he was talking with a computer intelligence. "What does- What does that mean? Am I gonna have this migraine for the rest of my life?"

"From what my scans indicate… You just need… A real doctor's opinion." The AI declared.

"Bit tricky in our situation now, Friday." Cisco swung his legs over the edge. "But gonna try a few aspirins in a bit, might just do the trick."

"Maybe." The AI replied, making the armor's shoulders shrug for effect.

"Matt should have programmed you with some kind of caretaker functionality." Sniped Cisco.

"Friday…" Barry got the AI's attention. "How are they doing?"

"Unclear." Friday replied. "But not well. The boss lady took a big risk out there when she saved you and Seth's bacon." The eyes of the armor's helmet briefly flickered with a shine. "Gonna check on Wallace for a bit." The AI moved out of the room and towards the medbay to examine the pillar-sized cocoon.

"Think they'll be okay?" Cisco asked the speedster, referring to the West and the Snow-Fury families.

"I hope so." Barry said.

The viber turned their attention to the battles they had at the rooftop. "What was that? that frozen thing on the rooftop? Why was there a Reverse-Venom there, and even the Sinister Seven?"

"Except for that new Venom calling himself Anti-Venom, I don't know." Barry got up from his chair. "But now we know Alchemy is just the lackey. Sinister Seven, Anti-Venom and whatever that thing was, it's what we're really up against." The two metahumans moved out of the room, standing in the Cortex.

Harrison turned around to see him. "Question, you're the only one who can see him?"

"Nah, I think Seth saw him too." Barry added.

"Why? I mean… Why?" H.R. questioned.

"I mean, it makes sense with you and that guy, you're both speedsters. But Seth's the odd man out." Cisco noted.

"Precisely, SF isn't a man of speed, yet he can see… Whatever that guy is and was." Harrison quipped. "So why indeed? What makes our rascal of an elemental so special that he can see what a speedster can see?" He hummed loudly… and annoyingly, getting on the viber's nerves.

"I don't think that's the case, I think he's more than a speedster." Barry started. "I mean, when we had me, it wasn't like we were even moving. It was just like, bam, we were instantly somewhere different, even from my perspective."

"He say anything else?" H.R. inquired.

"He said his name was Savitar." The speedster answered.

"Mmm." H.R. hummed in realization. "Hindu god of motion."

"What? How do you know that?" Cisco asked the Earth-19er in shock.

"Crossword puzzle wizard. On two planets, I might add." H.R. bragged. "Twelve across, seven letters. Savitar. Bam. Hindu god of motion."

Barry showed an agreeing look. "He said he was God."

"That's- That's nice. That's not scary at all." Cisco sheepishly said. He saw H.R. move away. "H.R. where are you going?"

"Oh!" Harrison turned around. "Gonna check on the Snow-Furies now."

Inside of the much larger medbay, Caitlin and Seth stood in between the gaps of the three gurneys. They had their daughters on each and every one of them. As soon as they returned to the facility, the two immediately began monitoring their conditions…

And they were left in peril…

Frankie was beginning to heal thanks to her symbiote powers. But as soon as she was placed on a gurney she was knocked out. She slept soundly on the gurney, which gave the parents some relief now that they saw her calming down.

But their current concern lies in their other daughters, Evelyn and Ruby.

Neither of them wanted to accept it… But their bodies aren't in the best of states. When they began examining the girls, Caitlin noticed that they fidgeted in pain while lying unconscious in their beds. It was akin to a seizure, but they stopped quite quickly. But it was nothing like a seizure after they got their results.

… Ruby and Evelyn are dying from a dangerous condition that the two doctors have witnessed before…

Caitlin dropped her hands to the sides of the keyboard. "Cellular degeneration." Color was drained from her entire face and the rest of her body. "They… They're experiencing cellular degeneration. How?"

"I don't get it either." Seth said, grabbing his face with fear drenched all over him. "Their bodies…. Their cells… They're dying. What's happening to them?" He muttered in disbelief.

"This is the same thing that happened to Zoom when he played Jay Garrick." Caitlin answered, turning around to face her mate. "Their cells are slowly dying and then…"

"Their bodies will give out." Seth stated with clenched hands, his face awash with confusion. "What the hell did this Anti-Venom do to them?"

"Anti-Venom…" Caitlin sneered, her eyes flashing with ice-cold colors.

The door into the room opened up and her eyes returned to normal. "Seth, Caitlin?" Joe got their attention. "I know you two are going through something of your own, but could either of you look at Wally? I don't think Friday's able to get anything out of this."

"Joe, we're-"

"Seth." Caitlin cut him off. "Go and check on him, I'll- I'll work on the girls."

Seth reluctantly agreed, walking to the detective. "Show me where he is." Joe nodded his thanks and closed the door behind him after leading Seth.

Caitlin returned her eyes to her daughters. She placed a kiss on top of Evelyn and Ruby's foreheads, using her actions to tell them that she's there for them and won't leave. She hated how this happened to her daughters.

Her family's her entire world… and it was like every brick and every stone of the world they had made together… It was like it was coming undone… Right in front of her eyes…

And she felt powerless to even try and put them together again…

X

Inside of the other medbay, the monitor kept beeping as Seth was continuing with his examination of the cocoon that's ensnared the former street racer. He worked as quickly as he could without making conversation or eye contact with the others, focusing on working so he could return to his daughters and his mate. He even resorted to the use of his tendrils to examine the cocoon.

Joe and Iris saw that he wasn't one for talking right now… and they didn't know what to actually tell him or what to even say to him.

"Hey." Iris said when she saw Barry, Cisco and Harrison-19 walk into the medbay.

"Hey." Barry hugged his girlfriend.

"You sure you're okay?" Iris asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay." Answered Barry. "How are you?" Unwrapping her arms from Barry's body, Iris gestured to the cocoon. "Seth, can you tell anything?"

Seth cracked the edge of the desk with a clench of his hand. "Quit babbling!" He demanded with his lower half of his face engulfed by his symbiote. The speedster who backed away. Cisco gasped, Joe and Iris widened their eyes. With a gasp, Harrison dropped off his drumstick. The symbiote around his mouth retracted and he said. "Sorry. But Wally's still alive in there, that's the good news. Bad news comes from here: His vitals are subdued. His brain function is low. Kinda like what you would see in a coma patient."

"I was in a coma after I got my powers. Maybe it's a similar process?" Barry suggested. "Can we take him out?"

"I'd advise against that, especially with how little we actually know of this Flashpoint power bestowal crap Alchemy's doing." Seth tried to calm himself down, thinking of an example for him to use. "It's like when a caterpillar is in its chrysalis stage of life, it breaks down its own body into some kind of enzyme soup before reconstructing into a butterfly. Same principle could be applied to Wally in this cocoon, but I don't know for sure. This is uncharted territory."

"You're right. You don't know." Joe pointed to the cocoon. "None of us knows a damn thing about what's going on in there. And I feel like a fool just standing here listening." He started to walk away.

"Dad?" Iris called out to him.

Joe stopped, facing them all. "I've said it before, I don't have the education most of you had. The science of what we do here is mostly lost on me. But what I do have is my detective skills and my instinct…" He listed off. "And time and time again, I don't use them because you guys all time tell me that everything is gonna be okay." Gesturing to the cocoon, Joe bluntly continued. "Everything is not okay."

"I'm sorry, Joe." Barry stated.

"I know you are, so is Seth." The detective pointed at the elemental who's eyes never left the screen. "But I just can't stand there. My guy is telling me I need to do something." He walked out of the medbay.

"This is not your fault." Iris told the speedster, trying to comfort him.

Before anyone could say anything, the doors to the larger medbay room swung open and Caitlin appeared with a look of distress. "Seth?" She got his and the others' attention. "We've got a big problem."

"What?" Seth rushed after her and into the room. The others followed them into the room, where they saw Friday in the armor using its scanners on the bodies of Ruby and Evelyn. To the elemental's confusion, the scanners then passed over Frankie's body. He noticed the large monitor as well. "Cait, what did you find?"

"This." Caitlin started, pointing to a screen that showed the two full-body MRI scans. The elemental recognized one of those, it was his own as it showed various elements. Seeing the look of recognition in his eyes, the icy metahuman continued. "These are MRI scans of Seth and Frankie's bodies."

"What about them, Cait?" Seth asked, confused as to why she was focusing on him right now. Their daughters are the ones who need the focus right now.

"Take a look." Caitlin typed away. "I'm removing the elements and the dark matter from your scans, filtering them in a way." She typed the keys, the elements and dark matter on the scans fading away. "It's difficult to see but you can see their bodies, their organs are kinda… being reinforced by something else that is within them. And something else is inside of them."

The reporter saw around their hearts, the centers of their chests, that something else is within them. Both of them are housing some sort of miasma that's moving around within their bodies. Seth's is pitch-black, Frankie's is pinkish in color. "Their symbiotes." Iris pieced together.

"Exactly, the symbiotes they have inside of them are compatible with their hosts, meaning they can achieve symbiosis and they can help each other survive, making each other stronger." Caitlin explained. "This is what they are… And here are Evie and Ruby's scans." She brought them up, showing them beside the previous ones. Much like their father and sister's scans, it shows them housing a miasma within their bodies. Both of them bear a white miasma that appears to eat and break down cells. "These worry me a lot."

"The way the cells are dying it's…" Barry didn't know how to finish his sentence.

"It's the exact opposite of symbiotes. Instead of having symbiosis with their hosts, they have it in reverse… Like the anti-version of it." Cisco had a spark of inspiration. "Anti-Symbiotes. That's a cool name."

"Except for the fact that they're killing my daughters, Cisco." Seth sniped at the viber. "So Anti-Venom birthed symbiotes inside of our daughters."

"And they're not like Magenta and Venom, they're there to kill them, breaking down and devouring each and every cell in their bodies." Caitlin spoke with an ice-cold blunt tone, her eyes flashing in a different color and her mouth expelling cold air.

Her eyes and the air from her mouth went unnoticed.

"What do we do?" Barry asked.

"Cait and I will handle this." Seth stated adamantly. "There's nothing you guys can do." He moved to a computer, resuming his work. "Leave, let us handle this."

"You sure?" Barry inquired.

"You can't do anything. Leave." Caitlin stated. The others obliged, knowing that they couldn't do anything to help them or even ease their minds. When they had left, tears stung her eyes… But they turned to ice when her eyes flashed icy colors again.

Wiping off the frozen tears, she told her mate. "I need some fresh air. Be back in a bit."

"Course, I'll keep working." Seth told her and she nodded, walking towards the exit. "Caitlin?" She stopped and looked at him. "We're gonna save our daughters."

"I know we will." Caitlin nodded, resuming her walk to the exit. "Or die trying." Her eyes flashed white and blue again.

Inside of the interrogation room, one of Alchemy's captured acolytes was cuffed to the table. Since his capture, he's been left there alone, stewing in his own silence and loneliness. He was waiting for someone to come through the door now.

The door opened and Joe West entered the interrogation room with a scowl. Closing the door behind him, he walked around till he stood in front of the table and the cuffed criminal. "Not so tough without your friends and your fancy robe. I want to know about Alchemy. What he does. How he does it."

"His powers are beyond human understanding." The loyal follower stated.

The detective took a seat in front of the criminal. "Try me." He dared him.

"Oh, you will be tried." The acolyte stated. "All of you. When my master rises, the human race will be judged and face the wrath of his pale hound. From where I'm sitting…" He smirked. "You will not fare very well."

The smirk on Joe's face fell. He shot up from his chair, grabbing onto the acolyte's nose tightly, holding it in a vice grip that made him groan in pain. "You think I'm playing with you? My son is in one of those cocoons and you're gonna tell me how to get him out. Now talk!"

Suddenly someone knocked on the door. "Go away!" Joe demanded, but the person persisted and resumed knocking. Huffing in anger, the detective released the acolyte and walked towards the door. Opening it up, he was shocked to find Caitlin on the other side. "Caitlin, what is it?"

"It's Wally. He's out of that thing. He's fine." Caitlin said with a smile.

"And he's okay?" Joe inquired.

"Yeah. He's fine. I promise." She assured him.

"Thank God." Joe sighed in relief. "Thank you, Caitlin. What about your girls? They doing better?"

"Yeah, their conditions are getting better. It was sudden, but I think they'll be up in a bit. I was on my way to the loft to grab some clothes for them. You should probably go see Wally." Caitlin responded.

Throwing a last glance at the acolyte, Joe walked out of the room. "Yeah." He stammered.

Before the door could close itself, Caitlin stopped the door with her foot. She looked back, making sure that Joe was out of earshot before walking into the interrogation room and closed the door. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the security camera in the upper corner.

With her back facing the acolyte, the icy metahuman walked backwards slowly before lashing out her hand at the camera, blasting it with ice blast. The camera froze completely from the blast. The acolyte widened his eyes in shock… and fear.

Caitlin turned around, facing him with cold evil white eyes and white streaks in her brown hair. In a distortive voice she asked. "Where is Alchemy?" The acolyte shivered, the metahuman walking over to the table with icy mist emitting from her hands. "Tell me where Alchemy is?"

"I sense great fear in you." Caitlin looked around while the acolyte continued. "You fear your power, your own greatness."

"I don't fear anything like that anymore, what I fear is losing what's most precious to me." More icy mist emitted from her hands, her rage increasing tenfold. "And you have no idea of the lengths I'd go to protect them. So, tell me where is Alchemy?!"

"The only one I fear is that whom Alchemy serves, the dark lord Savitar and the one he holds as his hound Anti-Venom." The acolyte stated.

Holding up her hand, more ice formed. "Maybe it's time you started fearing me." She raised a hand, blasting him with ice. It didn't freeze him, but brittle his skin and made him unleash a deafening scream.

Suddenly there was a pounding knock on the other side of the entrance door, making Caitlin stop and hear. "Who's in there?!" An officer asked.

Caitlin realized that her "interrogation" had caught the attention of the other officers and quickly thought up a plan. Inhaling deeply, she thrusted out her head, opening her mouth and releasing cold mist. It filled up the entire room, covering it completely in a thick and obscuring fog.

She hid herself in the fog just as the door opened up, a detective and an officer running into the interrogation room. They pulled out their guns, ready for whoever's causing trouble inside the room. Caitlin discreetly exited the room, slamming the door shut. Checking that the coast's clear, she used her cryogenic powers to freeze it shut.

Completely freezing the lock, she walked away. But she passed by Julian Albert who noticed the commotion. "Excuse me?" He tried to get her attention.

But then the detective in the locked room called out. "Anybody out there? Let us out of here!" He shouted while he and the officer banged on the door from the inside.

Julian saw the ice on the lock and turned around. Caitlin was in front of him, her eyes turned white, and she lifted her hand, emitting more icy mist.

"I need you to come with me."

"Damn it!" Seth shouted in anger, throwing the keyboard into the wall. The device connected with the hard surface, and it broke into two, the keys scattered all over the floor.

"Hey. Hey! No need to smash my gear, Seth." Cisco told the elemental.

Shooting him a lifeless glare, the mutant stated. "My daughters are dying; your equipment is the least of my concerns right now Cisco." The viber backed away. Seeing the fear on his friend's face, Seth sighed and stated. "Sorry, Cisco."

"Dude, it's okay. Just don't go ape in here, alright?" Cisco joked. He glanced at the girls. "Frankie's still down? It didn't take this long when Laurel used her Canary Cry on her."

"Not that I have anything against your old friend or your tech, Cisco, but you made that so Laurel could subdue targets with sound. Octavius made that sonic weaponry so he could kill anyone with sound weakness. He made them to kill symbiote hosts like me and Frankie. This is why she's still down for the count." Seth stroked his daughter's head.

The two powered men saw Ruby and Evelyn fidget in their gurneys, the pained expressions on their faces intensifying and they gritted their teeth as their hands clutch the bedsheet. "Can't we give them something to make it easier for them?" Cisco asked, not liking the looks on their faces.

"Tried that before…" Seth held up two empty syringes. "But these anti-symbiotes inside of them are eating through everything." He dropped the syringes. "Nothing works. I don't know what to do now."

"We'll figure this out." The viber told the elemental. "Where's Caitlin? Thought she'd be with you, working non-stop on a solution."

"She's out for fresh air." Seth declared, walking out of the medbay and into the other room with Wally's cocoon. "Can't blame her, no one wants to see their children like this." He admitted while taking a nearby water bottle and drank from it.

Iris and Barry could see the distress on his face. "Wait." Joe said, walking into the room. "What is going on?"

"Joe, what's wrong? Nothing's changed with Wally's state." Barry said.

"What? Caitlin came by the precinct." Joe said.

"She did?" Seth asked in shock.

"Yeah, she said that Wally was out and that he was okay." Joe informed them.

"What? I didn't even see her leave." Iris said.

"She did go out, but she said it was to get fresh air." Seth paled in fear of what this meant. Turning to Barry, he rushed to him and pulled him out of the chair. "Get me to the station. Now!"

Barry nodded before speeding them both out to the station.

"S.W.A.T. needs to establish a cordon at Sixth and Fairmont, all the way down to Gleason. Move!" A detective shouted to the swarm of officers around him. "Move. Let's go!"

"Patterson, what's going on?" Seth asked while walking into the room with the speedster.

"Sorry, consultant, but I need to pick his brain first." The detective directed at the CSI scientist. "Your little friend's in big trouble, Allen."

"What?" Seth asked, thinking it might be Caitlin.

"We're dealing with a female metahuman, attacked the precinct, took Julian Albert hostage." The detective stated.

"Julian's kidnapped?" Barry muttered.

Seth jumped in. "Wait, the meta, you know who the meta is?"

"Uh, no." The detective started. "But she's smart, I'll tell you that." She said, tapping the computer keys and bringing up the footage. "Took out our security cameras so we couldn't ID her." The footage showed a brief glance at the woman who had her hair covering her face as she took out the security cameras with an ice blast. "I thought maybe Allen would recognize her."

"No, I…" Barry shook his head.

"Why'd she take Julian?" Seth inquired.

"Doesn't matter. She's a meta." The detective pulled out his gun. "They're all crazy. But don't worry." He reloaded the gun. "We'll get her." He moved away.

"What are you doing?" Seth muttered to himself, leaning closer to the desk and seeing the video repeating. "What are you doing, Cait? Cait?"

X

Inside of the frozen food warehouse that is owned by Ledded Goh, Julian Albert was pushed against a table. He almost dropped his bag. He turned his head to face his kidnapper. "Bit chilly in here, isn't it?" He quipped.

"Shut up. I need to think." Caitlin said. She turned around, slowly walking around.

"Look, I know who you are." Julian had already recognized her. "Okay? You're Allen's friend, right? Our consultant's girlfriend, wasn't it? Dr. Snow?"

"I said, be quiet!" Caitlin snapped at him.

Julian asked seriously. "Are you going to kill me?"

"I need to find Alchemy." Caitlin walked closer to him again.

""Alchemy"? What?" The CSI expert asked. Caitlin pulled the laptop out of the bag, placing it on the cart and opened it in front of him. "Oh, what do you want me to do?"

"Alchemy has disciples, followers." Caitlin started. "I need you to create an algorithm that will allow you to locate anyone who searched for a specific keyword in the last six months. If we find one of his followers, they can take me to Alchemy."

"Okay." Julian turned to the computer. "But "Alchemy" is a relatively common phrase. It'll have hundreds of hits."

"Then search for an uncommon one." Caitlin suggested.

"Such as?"

"Savitar. Anti-Venom." Caitlin answered.

"Seriously?" Julian asked.

Impatiently, Caitlin's eyes flashed white, and she grabbed his left wrist, freezing his watch and parts of his flesh. It was enough for him to scream in pain. "Get searching." She commanded.

Julian obliged.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Back at the facility, Seth and Barry had informed the entire team of what Caitlin had done, disbelief raining over them like confusion.

But none of them were more confused than Seth whose fists clenched continuously, to the point where his bones threatened to crack. It was a miracle the sound of his cracking bones hadn't reached the others' ears yet.

"So, they don't know why she took Julian?" Joe asked.

"No, they don't." Barry shook his head.

"More importantly," Seth jumped in. "they don't even know it's Caitlin yet, so we need to find her before they get to her first."

"Savitar. Now, what about this Savitar-"

"H.R., Caitlin first." The mutant cut him off. "First we find Caitlin, then we can deal with that walking sardine can."

"You know what, guys? I agree with Seth." Harrison stated. "Let's find Caitlin."

"Okay, you're right." Iris agreed. "When we find Caitlin, then what?"

"I don't know. I mean, she's not thinking straight." Barry stated.

"Maybe all of her focus is on another important matter." Seth perked up when hearing his "other" speak. "Sorry, we've been… occupied elsewhere."

"Don't worry. You're worried about Magenta. I get that." Seth replied to his partner.

"We're worried about all three of your daughters and our own, of course. It's awful this happened to them, and that we can't do anything to prevent their suffering right now."

"You've been silent for a while now. Why?" He asked his partner, seeing that it was strange of him to not pitch a comment every now and then.

"Like we said, occupied elsewhere." Venom replied to his host.

"She's becoming Killer Frost. It's just like in the vibe." Cisco stated.

"We don't know that for sure. For all we know, your vibe is screwed, Cisco." Seth countered.

Cisco then reminded him. "Her mother said the more she uses her powers, the faster she's gonna go. And saving you guys from Savitar and Anti-Venom, that must have put her over the edge."

"She is not becoming evil, not our Caitlin! Not the mother of my children." Seth shouted, black smoke emanating from his entire body with his anger spiking. "We're getting her back."

"Right, but how do we find her?" Inquired Iris.

"I don't know." Cisco responded. "I tried pinging her cell and Julian's, but she must have ditched them both."

"Not hers, it's here and turned off." Seth nodded to the medbay with their daughters.

H.R. sighed loudly, obviously trying to get their attention. "If I may proffer a notion-"

"Oh, great." Cisco let out. "More suggestions from the genius over here."

"You don't call the genius. The genius calls you." Everyone faced him. "Question: How did you catch your Captain Cold? I've been reading about him in your files. Seems like a wily fellow. Slow talker. But his Mo, strikingly similar to our dear Caitlin's."

Cisco gave him an incredulous look. "What? No. We tracked him using the satellite to scan for ultraviolet cold signatures." Harrison tapped the drumsticks excitedly. "Oh… Got it."

"Wait." Iris stopped the viber from accessing the satellite. "Would that even work with Seth here?" She pointed at the mutant.

"Oh, she's right, you got ice in your veins. Literally." Cisco realized.

"Well… Well…" H.R. got their attention. "What is the sole difference between Seth and Dear Caitlin?"

"Personalities? One's a sweet by-the-book doctor, the other's a crazy unorthodox doctor? One's nice and the other's a psychopath?" Cisco suggested bluntly.

"One's a mutant and the other's a metahuman, one's because of a gene and the other's from dark matter." Barry realized.

"So, we filter it for dark matter." Cisco typed away on the keyboard. The computer chimed with a series of results. "No. Nothing near the precinct."

"Wait a second, zoom in on that one." Seth pointed a finger at the screen.

Cisco obliged and Iris read the location out loud. "Frozen food warehouse."

"Hack into its security feed." Seth told the viber.

"Got it." Cisco nodded, hacking into the feed. "There she is." The team watches as the live footage shows itself on their screen, showing Julian and Caitlin by a computer. "Okay, I'm gonna isolate the feed so that no one else can see it."

"Okay. Figure out what she's making Julian do. I'm going." Barry announced.

"So am I, and you're not stopping me." The mutant stated. In the back of his mind, he finally pieced together what was going through Caitlin's mind. Realizing what she was planning.

Only something a mother could do and try to do.

X

The keys of the keyboard clacked as Julian resumed the task that was forced upon him. His result yielded results and he declared. "Found two individuals that have searched for the names Savitar and Anti-Venom. Granted, the latter is less searched than the former."

"Sounds like a start." Caitlin said.

Julian brought up their personal information. "Here are both their addresses, both of them in Central City." Caitlin shuddered and straightened her back. The CSI expert faced her. "What exactly are you gonna do to them?"

"I don't know." Caitlin responded unsurely. She turned her back to him, walking away from him. Her eyes returned to her normal soft brown eye colors as she whispered to herself. "What am I doing?"

Parts of her didn't know why she did this, but then she remembered the reason for doing this. Her family…

With her back turned to him, Julian quickly sent a text with the location of the warehouse to Detective Patterson.

Caitlin's ears perked up when hearing Julian press down on the keys. She snapped around and saw him type away on the computer. Lashing out her hand, she thrust out an icicle and destroyed the laptop. Julian backed away. "What part of "I'll freeze you to death" did you not understand?"

Julian gulped, she raised her hands and readied another ice blast.

WHOOSH

A flash of lightning passed by in front of her, dropping off Venom. "Wait!" Seth stopped her. Barry came to a stop beside his colleague that he does not like in the least.

"Get out of here." Caitlin told her mate.

"You know we can't." Barry pitched in. Caitlin scoffed at his words.

"What are you two doing? Take her out. Take her out." Julian told the two heroes.

Venom stepped closer to his mate, giving her a soft look. "You don't have to do this. We know you…" Caitlin turned away from him, his soft look symbiote-clad or not could lower her defenses easily. "We know you don't want to hurt anybody."

"Think again, she's willing to hurt someone. Knock her out." Julian demanded.

PUNCH

Much to Julian's disappointment, he was the one to be knocked out… By the Scarlet Speedster himself, who couldn't hold back his smirk after delivering that satisfying knockout.

With the CSI expert knocked unconscious Seth's symbiotic form shrunk down till he stood in his normal human height and the Klyntar clad to his body became skin-tight. "Caitlin, come on?" He asked while the symbiote around his head retracted.

"Leave me alone, Seth. Please." Caitlin pleaded, believing in her mission.

"Cait… What is the plan? What are you doing?"

Seth had a feeling he knew what her plan was. But he had to be sure.

"I have to find Alchemy." Caitlin exclaimed.

"We will find him. All right? Together." Barry stated.

Caitlin scoffed. "Don't act like you understand me, Barry. You don't, nor will you be able to. Not now. I don't want to lock him up. I need him to help me."

"Help you what?" Barry asked.

"Help her find Anti-Venom." Seth pitched in, Caitlin widening her eyes. "You want to find Alchemy to get him to lead you to Anti-Venom… So, he can extract the anti-symbiotes from our daughters."

"I don't know if it works that way." Barry softly said.

"You don't know that it doesn't." Caitlin countered. "He's the only chance I have to save my daughters, and yeah, I'd be willing to even make a deal with the very thing that's responsible for their current situation. They're dying slowly on their beds right now, and we can't find a single damn thing to prevent it. None of us know what to do now, and I have a chance to save my family. I'm not holding back or stopping now."

"We might not know this guy's powers…" Seth stepped closer to her. "But I know that we love you. I more than the rest… Excluding our daughters, maybe of course. They got big hearts, got that from their mother, without a doubt. We've been through too much together, you and I…. We're gonna help our daughters, our children together… That's what family does. And we will save them."

"And Caitlin…" Barry pitched in. "I know we will do everything that we can to help you and your children. Please. Let me help your family."

The very moment Caitlin's eyes flickered in his direction, they turned completely to ice, donning a coldness that not even the sea of the underworld Cocytus could ever hope to get close to. The sight of those ice-cold eyes shocked the mutant.

"Like you helped your mother?" Caitlin sniped.

"Caitlin…" Barry said, feeling a knife stick into him.

"Or Wally? Or me? Seth? Or my daughters?!" Caitlin screeched like a banshee, cold fog coming out of her mouth. "You keep messing with everyone's lives, wrecking everything in your path and we're left behind to pick up the pieces from your mistakes. Or worse, you do something that's bound to get some of us killed, but you won't bat an eye cause you don't give a damn about them at all. Some things you break can't be put back together."

"I can fix this." Barry tried to assure her, but also Seth who was fighting back a glare.

"Oh, like you fixed Cisco's family?" Caitlin sneered. She had a feeling that the others at the facility are watching them right now.

"Cait…"

Caitlin continued, despite her mate trying to prevent from crossing this line. But there was nothing that he could do to stop her, especially as this was a line that Barry himself had crossed repeatedly. "You didn't tell Cisco that you screwed him worst of all, did you?" She snapped her eyes up to the nearest security camera. "You hear that, Cisco? Dante was alive, healthy and happy, until Barry created Flashpoint. When he reset things that's what killed him. Barry is the reason your brother is dead."

What none of them knew… Dante wasn't the only one to die from Barry's resetting of the timeline.

A series of guns cocked and the three snapped to the side to see the SWAT team, each officer with guns pointing at them. "Albert's down. Shoot her!"

Venom pushed them both behind his form, which expanded quickly till his symbiotic form shielded them. The bullets flew, connecting with his chest and bounced off his bouncy skin. "Go!" Flash nodded, speeding away with her.

"Sorry officers…" Seth's hands clenched and curled before he slammed them down on the metal floor, his lightning sparked over the floor and traveled towards them. The officers gasped, jumping backwards to avoid it.

Looking back up they saw that the elemental had moved away.

Seth came to a stop on a wall, seeing the speedster on the ground. Groaning in pain, an icicle pierced through his leg. "She got away."

"And made sure you won't follow." Seth muttered, seeing that the icicle blade that severed his triceps surae. Even with Barry's healing powers, it'd take hours for him to fully heal.

Caitlin was adamant on trying to find Anti-Venom… He was the only one to find the solution to her daughters' salvation.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

At the facility, Iris was in the medbay, patching up Barry after the icicle was pulled out.

Normally, with him being the only doctor, Seth would have done it, but he was checking on his daughters' conditions… Which hadn't improved.

Having secured the bandage around his wound, Iris looked up at him. "How much does it hurt?"

"As much as I deserve." Barry admitted.

"Okay. Let me know." Joe talked into the phone. He removed it from his ear. "They took Julian to County General. He's still out cold. Who hit him? Seth?"

"No, me." Barry said, rolling down his pant leg over his wound and got off the bed. "I didn't mean to knock him out."

"You're still a sucky liar." Seth pitched in, not believing his words. He walked into the Cortex.

Joe turned around, glancing at the elemental. "How're the girls? Any improvements?"

"None. They've gotten worse." Seth confessed with a saddened sigh.

Cisco walked into the middle of the room. "Cisco." Barry said, getting his attention and walked slowly towards him. "Hey, man, um, what you guys heard… What Caitlin said…"

"Was she lying?" Cisco asked, lifting his eyes up to meet the speedster's eyes.

"No. I'm…"

"You're sorry?" Cisco cut him off. Barry didn't answer. "That you killed my brother?" He stepped closer to the Scarlet Speedster. "Cause he was here. He was alive, until you created Flashpoint, until you did this." He pushed him back.

"I know, man." Barry said.

Cisco struggled to fight back tears, some of them leaking out of his eyes. "I don't even know how to feel right now." He was beyond distressed and in pain. "All I know is Caitlin is out there, and we need to find her. Can we do that?"

"Yeah." Barry nodded.

Cisco turned around. "I hacked Julian's computer." He walked to the console. "Caitlin had him look up two addresses: 16 Hawthorne Avenue and 1104 Truman Place."

"She's trying to find the acolytes, I was trying to say." H.R. commented.

"What exactly would she want with Alchemy's followers?" Iris asked.

"She thinks that they can lead her to Alchemy and then bring her to Anti-Venom." Seth replied. "She wants Anti-Venom to extract the anti-symbiotes out of our children."

"We know. We heard everything." Cisco sniped, giving the speedster a glare. "Well, two acolytes, two addresses. Which one's she's gonna hit first?"

"We gotta watch both." Seth declared. "I'll take one of them."

"I'll take the other one. Hawthorne's mine." Cisco said.

"Truman's my unlucky number." Seth accepted.

"I will join you, SF." Harrison jumped out of his chair. "I'll be your wingman."

"No. I'm not taking a car, and I'm not giving you a piggyback either." Seth stated adamantly.

"Seth, you sure you don't wanna stay with the girls?" Iris concernedly suggested. "My Dad and H.R. can watch Truman, and you can stay with the girls."

"I care about Caitlin, but I can't leave Wally." Joe said.

"Dad, Barry and I will stay with Wally. You can go with H.R." Iris suggested.

H.R. smiled. "Oh, yeah, I would love that. Hey, you and me, all-star team up? Right, you know what? I'll make a couple cappuccinos for the road, right, so we're ready for tonight's adventures. Hey. Not to worry, Seth, right? We'll help her."

"Wells, my girlfriend is off trying to find something that put two daughters into a state of cellular degeneration…. I'm gonna be worrying for a while now." Seth countered.

"Okay." Harrison awkwardly walked away, Joe following him with a sheepish look.

"Cisco." Barry stopped the viber from continuing. "If you find her-"

"I'll call Seth, he's the one who cares most about her than anyone here. You can barely stand, and you've done enough." Cisco said, walking out of the Cortex.

Seth blankly looked into the air… Not knowing what to do…

(16 Hawthorne Avenue)

It was 2:14 in the morning and Craig was awoken by his wife complaining about the freezing temperatures of their house. She asked him to check the thermostat.

He reluctantly agreed and walked down the staircase. Craig checked the thermostat, but it was only a brief glance as a small ice blade came flying into the device, shattering the glass.

Craig gasped at the sight, jumping backwards. Turning around he was shocked to find Caitlin Snow leaning against his refrigerator.

"Both of my parents are doctors. It's all I ever wanted to be." Caitlin started. "Growing up, I used to practice the Hippocratic Oath." She continued speaking distortedly. "I was obsessed with it. If anyone was even gonna stop on a bug, I would say, "Do no harm."" She stepped around the kitchen counter, walking towards him. "It's built into my DNA."

Standing right in front of him, she raised a finger and her eyes shined with icy cold colors. "Unfortunately…" An ice blade formed around her finger, elongating and pointing at the acolyte. "My DNA isn't what it used to be." Craig began shivering in front of the ice blade. "So, believe me when I say, answer every one of my questions or I will harm you and your family."

Shuddering in fear, Craig nodded, and Caitlin retracted her ice blade. "Who is Alchemy?"

Craig answered. "I don't know. I've never seen him without the mask."

"I know he can give people powers." Caitlin noted. "Can he take them away?"

"Yes." Craig assured her. "But you can't make Alchemy do anything. He's just an acolyte, like me. We both serve the speed god, Savitar. He's shown us the future. I saw you there. You were glorious… and powerful. Standing with the Vile Destroyer."

"With Anti-Venom?" Caitlin asked confusedly.

"My lord has special plans for you, Caitlin Snow…." Craig said. "Or should I say… Killer Frost?"

Her already cold eyes flashed with an even colder lifeless. "And Anti-Venom? Where is he? How do I get to him?"

Craig answered. "The Vile Destroyer he may be, but that is merely a title. He is not an acolyte, like me and Alchemy, but he is close to our speed god. He follows Savitar's orders, and his alone. Not even Alchemy could command the beast that he is."

"So Savitar commanded him to infect Eclipse and Destroyer with anti-symbiotes?" Caitlin asked.

"Oh yes… He sees the future and follows the course of time…" Craig stated. "By the way, how are your daughters?"

"Don't you dare talk about them!" Caitlin coldly hissed, icy fog threateningly emanating from her hands.

"Caitlin!" Cisco shouted from the outside.

Caitlin sighed, exhaling sharply before walking out of the house. She stepped out into the open air, stepping out onto the street. "Really?" She asked when seeing that Cisco had armored up in his Vibe suit. "You brought your toys?"

With his Vibe goggles in his right hand, Cisco told her. "I'm hoping it won't come to that."

"It won't." Caitlin's eyes flashed white. "Should have brought Seth."

"He'd never hurt you. Look, I'm not leaving you out here." Cisco countered. "I want to help you."

"There's only one person who can help me." Caitlin inched closer.

"Really?" Cisco scoffed. "You really think seeking medical advice from someone named Doctor Alchemy is the way to go?"

"Why not?" Caitlin said. "My name is Killer Frost."

"Your name is Caitlin Snow." Cisco countered.

Raising her hands and emitting cold fog, Caitlin said. "Can Caitlin Snow do this?" She thrust out her right hand, shooting an icicle after him. Cisco dodged it, hiding behind a tree as more icicles continued to fly after him.

With his cover, the ice blades hit the tree trunk. Looking from behind the tree, Cisco pleaded. "Caitlin, please!" He had to dodge and hide behind the tree when another ice blade came flying for his head.

He had to take this seriously now. He equipped his goggles, emitting a whirring sound and shined with blue color. From behind the tree, he fired a vibe blast.

Caitlin dodged it, and looked ahead to face the viber. She thrust out her hands again, intent on shooting another wave of ice blades. But her attempts to fire off cryogenic blades were stopped when something wrapped around her entire body.

The icy metahuman looked over her shoulder, seeing Venom had appeared and wrapped his tendrils around her form. "Seth…" She said softly, her eyes turning back to their normal brown eye color.

"Caitlin…" Seth replied softly, his form shrinking down till he stood in front of his mate. "Cait, come on. Don't do this." The symbiote mask slithered away from his face, his blue eyes meeting her brown ones. "I'm begging you, please. You don't need Anti-Venom; we'll save our daughters. You and me, together. I promise."

"I know, Seth… I know the two of us could save our daughters… Our children…" Caitlin's arms slid around his form, sliding up to his neck. "I know that we could save them if we continue working on this…. But they don't have time. I can't take any risk."

Before he could say anything else she shut him up with a kiss, her lips crashing into his and he kissed back. Seth widened his eyes in surprise at the abrupt kiss, it was just like their usual actions of intimacy when it was just the two of them.

But there was something else to this kiss… Whether it was intentional or not, Caitlin used her powers in tandem with the loving act and a wave of ice came over the mutant. He lost his footing, and his tendrils froze to ice as he fell to the ground.

Caitlin's lips never left his, their lips continued to interlock so her powers could spread over him. Though it was a means to stop him, neither of them could help but embrace and fall into the kiss. Though Seth was slowly getting frozen solid….

Though Caitlin was freezing him solid…

Both of them couldn't help but fall in love...

WHOOSH

But it came to an end when Barry tackled Caitlin away from him and into the windshield of the car behind them. The glass cracked upon impact. Seth sat up, his entire body emitting immense heat and fire causing the thin layer of frost on his body to thaw.

Cisco moved towards Barry and Seth. "Why'd you come?" He directed at the speedster.

"Thought you guys were in trouble." Barry said.

"You were wrong." Cisco sniped, turning to the elemental. "You okay?"

"Peachy." Seth honestly, lightly panting from the kiss he just had with his mate. "Is she okay?" He didn't wait for an answer and moved to the hood of the car, and checked her body.

He had to bring her back to the facility and check on her and her daughters.

(Pipeline)

In the Pipeline, Caitlin stirred awake and was unsurprised to find herself in a containment cell. She was even less surprised to see the array of people standing on the other side of the class, consisting of Cisco, Barry, Joe, Iris and Harrison. She hid the hurt she felt when she didn't see Seth there.

Schooling herself, she let out in exhaustion. "Whoo!" She got up to her full height. "Guess I just needed a little sleep." She groaned. "Oh, thanks, guys. I'm feeling much better now. It's okay. You can let me out. I promise I'm gonna hurt anybody."

Caitlin could see that her quip had little effect on them, rather it had no effect on them at all. "Hmm." She hummed. "Guess you're all smarter than I thought. You know, that was some tackle there, Flasher." She rolled her shoulder. "It kind of hurt."

"I didn't want to hurt you, Caitlin." Barry told her.

Scoffing, she said. "You're pathetic." She looked between the folks. "Guessing Seth's busy with the girls?"

"Yeah, he is." Iris answered.

"Good. They need all the help they need." Caitlin stated.

"Alchemy can't help you. Neither can Anti-Venom." Barry told her. "But we can. I promise."

"Oh, like you promised Eddie?" Caitlin started. "And like you promised Ronnie? Like you promised Seth?" Barry raised his head. "You know, for a hero, Flash, you sure let a lot of people around you die. At least, Seth is willing to keep his promises to the end and actually let himself die before anyone else could."

"This isn't you talking." Barry said.

"It's the powers. They're messing with your mind, Caitlin." Cisco told her.

"You're sick." Barry stated.

She shook her head in denial. "I'm broken, Barry." She tilted her head, facing him. "But what do you care? Cause you've got Iris. You got your happy ending. Everyone else be damned, no matter how much they've sacrificed for you or how much they're willing to do for you. Much like you did with my family and Flashpoint, you didn't give a damn if you erased them or not. Well, you didn't give them a second thought, actually." She confessed.

"So, I'll tell you guys what, you guys, let me go and I will leave you to your sad and miserable lives." Caitlin offered.

"So, what, you'll abandon your daughters?" Barry asked.

In a fit of rage, Caitlin punched the glass door with shining white eyes. "Don't talk about my daughters! I know you don't give a damn about anyone other than your own pathetic measly life, Flash! That's the only thing that matters to you, no matter how much blood ends up on your hands."

"That's not true, Caitlin." Barry told her.

"Oh yeah, then explain why you were okay withs screwing up the timeline without a care in the world if other people suffered? Or right, they don't mean anything to you." Caitlin quipped hollowly.

Barry raised his hand to the panel, about to close the pipeline. But a voice stopped him,

"Do not close that door, Barry!"

The others turned around, seeing that Seth had arrived and stood at the entrance to the Pipeline with crossed arms over his chest. "Do you want me to repeat myself?" He rhetorically asked.

"Seth, she's-"

"She's right, and she's not getting a door closed in her face." Seth stepped up to the speedster. "Do it, I will tear off your legs and beat you to death with them." He told him bluntly.

"O-Okay." Barry nodded and stepped back with the others. The elemental stepped up to the door while the speedster directed to the viber. "Do you have any idea how we can reverse this?"

Cisco made eye contact with the icy metahuman he called his friend. "It's like Caitlin said, sometimes when things get broken, they can't be fixed."

"She's not broken." Seth adamantly said, not liking anything they're saying about his mate. "She's still Caitlin Snow."

Caitlin hummed humorously, getting Seth's attention. "I'd like to think I've gotten an upgrade." The others left her and Seth alone.

"Definitely gave me cold feet." Seth quipped with a smirk, leaning against the glass. "Not a bad kiss either." He chuckled.

"Sure about that?" Caitlin leaned against the glass from the inside, looking parallelly through the door. "I'm sorry for what I did, Seth. Didn't want to hurt you."

"Did you ever hear me complain about a kiss from you?" Seth chuckled his response, sitting down on the other side of the glass. Caitlin mimicked her mate's action, sitting down from the inside of the cell. "Next time… Though, let's try not to freeze one another."

"I seem to remember a certain mutant repeatedly using his powers to destroy our bedroom." Caitlin quipped.

"Oh…" Seth scratched the back of his neck embarrassedly. "I will try and fix that issue of mine, I promise."

Though chances of that ever actually happening is slim.

X

(Speed Lab)

Inside of the Speed Lab, Barry is seated on the treadmill. His thoughts of everything he's done to his friends and his team swirling around in his mind like a whirlpool. And in the epicenter of that whirlpool is a spiraling and ever-expanding orb of guilt and self-hate.

Footsteps echoed closer and closer, approaching him from the entrance. Iris approached him. "What are you doing down here?"

"We should all be working to find Alchemy, Anti-Venom and Savitar and figure out how to stop them. Instead, we're fighting each other."

"Yeah. Team Flash is not at its finest." Iris noted.

Shaking his head lightly, Barry muttered. "Why didn't I just follow you inside the house?" He truly regretted not having followed her into the house that night when they celebrated the victory against Zoom and for saving the entire multiverse.

Crouching down before him, Iris said. "Because you were hurting. You would do anything to make the pain go away. That's why Caitlin is so lost. And Cisco. And Seth. We will do anything to make the pain stop. That doesn't make you a bad person. That makes you human."

"Tell that to my friends." Barry countered. "My best friends, one of them is locked up like a villain, the other one hates me. And Seth, the one who's been watching my back the entire time we're out in the field, straight wants me dead and threatens to kill me every single time I utter a word. I'm the worst."

"You cannot take this all on yourself." Iris comfortingly told him.

Barry looked into her eyes. "Why not?" He asked.

Iris told him. "How do you know that Caitlin wasn't already affected by the accelerator explosion or that Dante wouldn't have died in a car accident anyway? You are not God, Barry."

Recognizing the words, Barry commented. "That's what Jay said."

"Jay's a smart man." Iris admitted. "You cannot keep doing this to yourself, constantly going over the what-ifs. You'll go nuts." Barry listened to her words. "Everyone in this building need the Flash right now, my dad, Wally, even Cisco, Caitlin and Seth. So be strong like I know you are. I know you don't want to be the leader right now, but you have to be."

With the words sinking into him, Barry smiled widely. "I told you I couldn't do this without you."

Her hands had found their way around his neck. "And you'll never have to."

Over their heads electricity began to crackle, causing lamps and other light sources to flicker. "Wally." Iris realized.

"Come on." Barry stated. The two rushed out of the Speed Lab.

X

In the Pipeline, Seth and Caitlin continued talking to one another. Though one of them was inside of a containment cell that was designed for villains, it didn't affect the couple at all. Since the others left, the two started talking about everything…

Talking without any burdens on their shoulders, talking from their hearts to each other like a couple.

"Seriously, Matt sleepwalked into your room… fully armored and began shooting you?" Caitlin laughed when hearing the story.

"Exactly like that." Seth admitted. "He straight-up walked into my room at the academy, and began shooting all over the place. My room looked like holed cheese."

"Wow, you must have been getting so many complaints." Caitlin noted.

"Not as much as you'd think, I mean it was Science, so students usually blow things up at midnight with their experiments. But yeah, still got complaints like crazy. My dad didn't think it was possible for anyone at Science to get that many complaints." Seth admitted.

Giving him an incredulous look, Caitlin asked. "I have to ask, did those complaints maybe increase when you reacted to your best friend trying to shoot you in your bedroom?"

"Oh, you know me too well." Seth hung his head. Lifting his head up, the mutant didn't say anything but just look into her brown eyes.

"What?" Caitlin asked, seeing the blue eyes peering into hers.

Forming a wide smile, Seth said. "Did I ever tell you about the first time I ever saw you?"

"You mean when Danton Black tried to kill Simon Stagg at university?" Caitlin could remember that day any time as though it was yesterday. It was the first time she'd ever lay her eyes on the hero who turned out to become the Lethal Protector of Central City.

It was the first time she met the man she'd one day call her most beloved.

"Nah, not that time." Caitlin turned shocked at the mutant's words. With a smile still covering his face, he stated. "It was my first day in this city, this universe, actually. I was at Jitters, enjoying my first cup of coffee with Joe after filing a missing person's report for my sister. He went to the bathroom or something after we got our drinks, and… I saw you."

"Me?" Caitlin asked, confused and wide-eyed with cold eyes.

"The single most beautiful woman I've ever come across on this Earth walked into the shop, and she didn't crack a single smile… Yet…" Seth couldn't keep his eyes off of the woman on the other side of the glass door, she was still the most beautiful woman he's ever met. "She took my breath away. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Not even sure I wanted to. It threw me for a loop that such a beautiful woman like you… seemed so down in the gutters."

"Well… I had just lost my fiancé back then." Caitlin countered.

"Which I understood completely, and also learnt after meeting you." Seth responded. "It was the best day of my life… Cause I met you and then I met Frankie for the first time."

"Oh yeah, you told me that." Caitlin remembered. She got a saddened look on her face as she added. "Guess you're a bit disappointed I'm not the same as I was before."

"I've never thought that for a second, babe." Seth said, getting back on his feet and standing in front of the cell. "Friday, open the cell door."

The panel at the entrance chimed and whirred, the door to the cell opening up. Caitlin got up to her full height. "What are you doing, Seth?"

"You're the exact same Caitlin Snow that I fell in love with…" Seth walked into the cell, Caitlin stepped closer to him. "… The mother to our three daughters… Frankie… Ruby… Evelyn…." He reached out, gently taking her hand, lifting it up and placing it on his chest. "This heart beats for you and alone."

"How can you be sure of that Seth?" Caitlin asked, feeling his heart race in his chest. She was sure it was because of her being close to him now…. Beating for her… For the person she was. "How do you know that I won't… I won't just hurt you or the others?"

Seth's smile never faltered... Nor did his heart ever stop beating for her.

"Cause if that was the case, Caitlin Snow… You'd hold an icicle right now… and live up to your name, to Killer Frost's name." He spoke honestly. "You'd try and hurt me, the others, Barry, which he'd deserve completely, and then you'd go and search for Anti-Venom. You called yourself broken, didn't you?" Caitlin's mouth gaped, listening to all of his words with undivided attention. "I don't believe that Cait."

"Why?" Caitlin asked in surprise, her eyes wide as saucers.

"If it can be broken, it means it still works." Caitlin was sure his heart was beating faster now, somehow managing to still beat inside out of his chest without bursting out. "If it means spending every single of my life to prove that to you, I will. If you're broken, Cait, I'll be the one to unbreak you."

"You're not a villain. They don't care about anything, nothing matters to them, but you were willing to risk facing a monster I couldn't defeat just to save our daughters. That's all the proof I need." Neither of them noticed it, but Caitlin's cold eyes began to flicker. "The cold you have over you and your heart right now, underneath all of that ice, you're still the same person. You're still you, Cait."

"I… I…" Caitlin gulped.

"In my letter to you, the one I made for you and our daughters last year when I was stuck on Earth-2… I told you I'd come back to you, and I did. I meant every single word I told you back then, the only protector I want to be is yours and yours alone. You're the Cure to my Venom. It's always gonna be that between you and me… The two of us like that." His eyes looked deeply into hers. "You don't hate, but you feel pain. You love and care, which is why you went after Alchemy's goons. Like I said before, that's your real and true strength, Cait."

The sensations running through her entire body was akin to a dam tearing down, releasing the powerful flood that was previously held back. Emotions she thought her cold heart wouldn't accept or beat to was now back again, her heart stampeding like a raging horde of elephants running wild.

Her eyes watered, some turning to ice… some remaining in their liquid form. Some of them remained stuck to her face but they disappeared when Seth's fingers brushed over her cheeks and eyes. Even though he tried his best to get rid of as many tears as possible, it was a losing war as even more tears took their place.

"I know you… Cait." Seth leant his head closer to hers. Caitlin's eyes flickered again. "I love you."

"I love you too." Caitlin said back, her eyes turning back to normal, and she smashed her lips into his.

A familiar feeling washed over them both. And with that feeling, the two of them felt the key to their own little private world twist and opening up the entrance to their unique haven. Though the situation isn't the best right now, they didn't have to worry about that in their world.

In their world… They just had to enjoy one another…

Removing her lips from his, Caitlin blinked, and she began crying. "Seth."

"Hey, hey, it's okay." Seth comforted her, wrapping her in his arms and letting her cry into his chest. "I got you. I'm never letting you go; I swear." He rubbed her back slowly, using his partner's powers to help soothe her. "Thanks for coming back to me… To us, Cait."

Last year, he came back to her… And now… She had come back to him.

Anything to lessen her worries…

"Hey."

Seth and Caitlin turned their heads to the entrance to the Pipeline, seeing Barry and Joe standing there. "What's wrong?" The mutant asked.

"It's Wally. We need medical expertise." Joe stated.

Seth turned to look his mate in her eyes. "They need Caitlin Snow, MD."

Once returning to the Cortex, the two doctors were thrown for a loop when they heard what happened while they were down in the Pipeline.

Joe and H.R. had apparently tried to extract Wally out of the cocoon with tools, using a cranial saw to try and cut him out of the pillar-like encasement. But his attempts had backfired in a strange way, giving them the unexpected to deal with.

The hardened rock-like cocoon exploded, and Wally was free, but he was blurring uncontrollably in the middle of the room. Wally himself was confused out of his mind, one minute he was in a cocoon and then out of it unexpectedly.

But Alchemy's attempts to bestow the forcer street racer proved successful as Wally sped out of the facility in a flash.

After getting all the information they needed, Caitlin and Seth and the others moved into the medbay, then began working on a concoction that'd aid them to find the fledgling speedster. Seeing that Seth was taking care of his end, Caitlin explained. "I think extracting Wally early from that cocoon left him in a fugue state." She moved to get an injection gun. "His synapses aren't used to functioning at superspeed, so his mind and muscles are misfiring."

"So, they're out of sync?" H.R asked.

"Precisely." Seth agreed, taking the vial to his mate and gave it to her. "Here, babe."

"Thanks." Caitlin accepted.

"Will this stuff help?" Joe asked, gesturing to the vial.

Holding the concoction in both hands, Caitlin said. "I've synthesized a neural compound that I think will get his mind and body running at the same speed." Joe nodded his thanks, but she didn't see it as her eyes diverted to the conjoining room where her daughters are lying on the gurneys. Seth was no different, peering into the same direction.

"We just have to find him first." Iris said.

"Where'd he go, Joe?" Harrison turned his head to the detective. Getting his attention, H.R. put on his hat again and asked. "What does your gut tell you?"

Thinking to himself and his late wife, Joe realized where his speedster son might be. "The house that he grew up in." H.R. clapped his hands victoriously. "He used to go there when he missed his mother."

"In Keystone." Barry realized. He got up from his chair. "Seth, you coming with me?"

"No." Seth immediately responded. "My focus is gonna be on my daughters now, until we have a solution to save them."

"You know how?" Cisco wondered.

"Unclear at this moment." Caitlin answered for him, handing the injection gun to Barry. "But we have to work on it again…" She trailed off sadly, walking towards the room with her daughters.

"Good luck with Wally." Seth followed his mate.

But a strange thing that Seth noticed was his partner's lack of participation. Where was his mind at this time?

"FOR LEASE"

One of the two things to stand on the grounds of Wally's former home was a sign and…

The unstably blurring form of Wallace West who had now awoken as a new metahuman with the same exact powers as The Flash.

In his current state, he didn't know how to feel and went to a spot where he'd feel at ease as he did when his mother was still with him.

"Wally!" Joe shouted, running towards him. He stepped onto the lawn and got closer to him. "Wally. It's your dad, son." He got his attention, Wally's blurring and vibrating body turning to face him. "You're gonna be all right. We're gonna take care of you, okay?" He assured his son.

WHOOSH

A flash of yellow lightning sped to him, and Barry injected the fledgling speedster with the drug. The Flash sped back a few feet, giving Wally and Joe some space.

Wally gasped, his entire body stopping to vibrate. He looked up, seeing his father standing before him. "Dad." His body gave up and he lost consciousness.

He fell into Joe's arms, fully asleep.

One child had been rescued… Three remained…

X

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Joe and Barry returned to the facility with Wally being carried by his father. But the moment they stepped out of the medbay, they immediately saw the looks of worry on Iris Harrison's and Cisco's faces. After sharing a look, they walked deeper into the Cortex. Walking into the room, they could immediately feel the air of sadness come over them.

Mixed in with that air… is a fog of hopelessness.

The speedster walked in and asked Iris. "What's wrong?"

"It's not looking good for them." She directed to Caitlin and Seth in the other medbay, both of them looking crestfallen and unable to process anything. "They haven't been able to find anything."

"Really?" Barry whispered.

"We can hear you." Seth said, getting their attention. "Yeah, we haven't found anything to help them."

"Is this…" Caitlin gritted her teeth, grabbing her left arm with her right hand. It was an attempt to stop it from shaking, but it was useless as it ended up causing both of her arms to shake. "Can't we really save them?"

Seth looked over at the forms of all three of his daughters. "We're their parents… We're supposed to be the ones who hold them and tell them we're gonna protect them and save them no matter what." He clenched his fists, the bones underneath his flesh cracking loudly. "And now… Look at us…"

"What are we gonna do?" Caitlin asked, tears swelling in her eyes and mere seconds later, began rolling down her face. "Is this the end…"

"Is there really nothing we can do?" Seth asked himself, completely devoid of hope in all of its known forms. Any and all hope he had had already dispersed into nothingness, making the absolute void inside of him much bigger.

Though he had managed to save his mate, he was unable to save his daughters… and he could do nothing but watch from the sidelines as his daughters near their finish line…

No one could help them… as they could do nothing for the Snow-Fury daughters…

"But we can."

Seth perked his head up at his symbiote partner's abrupt comment. "What? How?"

"Seth…?" Caitlin saw the look on his face, completely wide-eyed and appearing to struggle with what he was dealing with.

"Venom, no." Seth shook his head.

Iris noticed the mutant's strange and bizarre behavior. "Is he okay?"

"He's speaking with Venom." Caitlin replied.

"Venom, no. I'm not letting- ARGH!" Seth gasped in shock when he suddenly started moving around the medbay, away from the gurneys and to the glassed cabinets. "What the-"

"Listen!" Seth turned his attention to the glass, shocked to see that it wasn't his reflection looking back at him but that it was Venom peering back at him. His "other" looked at him with a serious expression. "Listen."

"No…" Seth shook his head, not liking the plan he had in mind. "It's not right, Venom. I can't let you do this."

"What's the alternative, Seth?" Venom asked in a growl. "Letting your daughters wither away and die? YOU ACTUALLY WANT THAT?!"

"OF COURSE NOT, YOU DAMN BASTARD!" Seth shouted back.

The others looked at him, and to them it looked like Seth was shouting at his own reflection in the glass.

"But what you want… It's not right… It's downright inhumane." Seth grabbed onto the counter with both hands, each finger curling and slowly burying into it.

"Sounds like the shoe fits..." Venom got his host's attention. "We've been through this enough times to know we're in this ride together. We've shared more than just body, Seth. We've shared lives, memories… Family."

"Venom…"

"We told you before… Your children are my children, as mine are yours." Venom leant closer from within the reflection. "We already know the pain of losing a child… We will not go through that again." Though the symbiote was willing to go through hell and back with his host, he was not willing to go into that abyssal wasteland again. The pain of losing a child was enough for them to experience once. "We're not losing our daughters, like we lost our son."

"I can't ask this of you, Venom." Seth bit his lower lip, enraged with himself for actually thinking about this plan.

"You didn't." Venom countered, getting a smirk from his host. "So, we're gonna save our daughters or you're gonna whine and wimp the rest of the night…"

"Save them…" Seth adamantly said, wiping away tears. He snapped his eyes to the side, looking through the glass and made eye contact with Barry who flinched at the sudden meeting of their eyes. "Or die trying."

Turning around to face his mate, Seth assured her. "Cait, I'll save our daughters."

"How?" Caitlin asked.

"You're not gonna like that." Seth said, moving out of the medbay and towards the Scarlet Speedster. "Barry, you wanna get on my good side again?"

"What?" Barry said, surprised by the question. "Yeah, of course man."

"No matter what?" Seth asked, he had to know if he was willing to do this. "No questions, no second thoughts or doubts?"

"Y-Yeah." Barry hesitated.

"Then you're gonna have to kill me." Seth deadpanned.

"What?!"

A series of voices exclaimed, overlapping over one another.

X

(Klyntar Cave)

"Seth, what the hell does that mean, "Then you're gonna have to kill me"?" Barry demanded to know of the mutant while he and the others moved after him into Klyntar Lab.

"Pretty sure, I told you, "No questions asked"." Seth reminded him, moving up to the platform. "Don't chicken out now, Flasher." He opened a drawer at the desk, rummaging through it.

"For once, I agree with Barry." Caitlin admitted. "What the hell does that mean, Seth?" She asked.

"Bing pot." Seth said, pulling out the device he needed. The trans-dimensional device that Matt had left behind for them. "Two pieces down… One to go." He moved off the platform quickly. "I'll get to that, Cait. Promise, but like I said, you're not gonna like it."

"What is your plan, Seth?" Joe said,

"Wait, you think Matt can help us out?" Cisco asked, noticing the device in his hand.

"Thought Matt was a mech engineer?" Iris commented.

"He is, Iris, and he is not gonna help us, Cisco. Just need this device and… Your powers, Cisco." Seth stated, tapping a spot on the floor with his foot. "I need you to open a breach right here, Cisco."

Cisco gave a questioning look, but obliged to the commands and fired a vibe blast at the spot. Opening up a breach. From standing right in front of it, Seth took five steps away from it and turned around. He pressed the button on the device in his hand, opening up a portal in front of him.

"This should work." Seth breathed out. "I hope so."

"Seth!" Caitlin grabbed him by his shoulders. "What is your plan? Tell me."

Inhaling deeply, Seth nodded to the two dimensional gateways. "Matt had this theory about these portals, that they're the same. They're swirling gates, like whirlpools that sucks everything with their inward spiraling motion. But he thought that an opposing, or rather an outside force with greater momentum might be able to reverse that motion so it spirals outwards. But before that, they'd take in energy that's around them, especially if it comes in excessive amounts."

"You want me to run around in a circle and change the motion of both portals while they attract some of my lightning." Barry deduced.

Understanding the plan, the viber noted. "Yeah, but even if that works, the two portals would just send the lightning back and forth between each other. They'd be repelling the lightning to one another like they're playing ball."

"For now, that's the plan." Seth announced, confusing them. "But I'll be standing in the middle of the two portals."

"What?!" Caitlin exclaimed roaringly, causing others stepped back in shock. "No way! Why the hell would you even do that, Seth?!"

"Cait… Trust me." Seth took her hand, rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. "I promise you this will save our daughters, all of them. I know it sounds crazy, but I will work. Trust me… Have faith in me." He begged his mate.

"What if this kills you? I can't lose you and our daughters." Caitlin pleaded.

"I know… But I know the pain of losing a child, it's the worst possible feeling you could ever imagine. And the actual feeling, that's much worse. I don't ever want to go through that feeling again… Nor do I even want to think of you going through the same." Seth told her honestly. "This is a hell of a drastic technique which could backfire in major ways, but I have to do this. Otherwise, it won't work."

"Okay…" Caitlin reluctantly accepted.

"Thanks." Seth stepped over. "Barry…" He twirled his finger around. "Take a couple of laps. And by that, I mean-"

"Run at full-speed without stopping." Barry took a running stance. "When do I stop?"

"Don't know. Just run like crazy, without breaking the barrier into time itself or accidently run into another universe." Seth ordered him.

"Promise." Barry nodded.

"Step back." Seth directed to the others, and they obliged. "Go!" He told the speedster.

Barry nodded, sparks of lightning crackling in his eyes before speeding forward. He ran past the two dimensional gateways, latching onto a wall and ran on the hard surface. The speedster ran on the walls in a circular formation, the lightning trailing behind him in a violent surge.

Everyone stepped closer to the platform, worried that the lightning the Scarlet Speedster is releasing might end up touching them and giving them an unpleasant electric shock. The lightning he's releasing is blinding and intensifying.

While Iris and Joe shielded their eyes from the lightning, Caitlin and Cisco turned their eyes to the two portals in the middle of the training lab. They squinted their eyes, focusing on the two gateways and saw that the outside momentum of Barry's running was slowly affecting them.

From spiraling inwardly… They slowly approached the reverse, spiraling outwardly.

But as they slowly changed their spiraling motion, lightning trailing behind Barry's body began to be pulled towards the two portals. In a matter of seconds, the two portals had completely reversed their spiraling motion and were now…

Passing lightning from one portal to another.

"Should be good now…" Seth thought with a clench of his hands, his eyes following the bolt of lightning that's being passed back and forth like a ball in a game of catch. "Think this will work…?"

"It has to. The alternative is unforgivable and unacceptable!" Venom exclaimed in his host's head.

"Agreed." Seth said, flexing his entire body and turning every single part of his flesh into adamantium. He stepped forward and stretched out his metal hand. As though he was nearing an electric fence, his fingertips slowly inching closer to the electrical storm, he suddenly felt himself sweat worriedly and anxiously.

But it wasn't because he was having second thoughts… It was because his fears of his daughters dying jumped to the forefront of his mind.

"Time to work." Seth muttered to himself, pushing into the passing lightning. When the electricity touched his metallic skin, he gritted his teeth in response. When he pushed his entire body into the lightning, he grunted in pain.

The pain was akin to the numerous times he's been subjected to sonic attacks. He felt each crackle of lightning travel through his entire body, electrocuting his cells. His body turned back to normal, no longer is his flesh metal. It didn't just stop there. It was like countless microscopic lightning needles were created from the Speed Force energy and pierced every single cell in his body, painfully traveled through all of his bones, making his blood boil and come out of his mouth and eyes.

Caitlin held her mouth with both hands when seeing Seth bleed and fall to his knees. "Seth…"

"Should we tell Barry to stop?" Iris asked, looking through the gaps of her shielding fingers.

"No." Caitlin replied to the reporter's shock. "Have faith in Seth's choice. Please." She said, trusting her mate with all of her heart but unable to stop it from cracking and creaking at the sight of him in pain.

"Don't stop!" Seth said, facing them with one bleeding eye and the other one enveloped by symbiotic mass, forming the eye of his alter-ego. Half of his mouth had become enveloped as well.

With the feeling of the ravenous and violently surging electricity coursing through his entire body, rippling through his very core and going through his being like a disastrous drill. Both he and his "other" could feel the lightning come through them both, attacking and threatening to devour every single fiber and cell in him. Penetrating lightning bolts going through him caused his symbiotic partner to shake like water within him, and burst out of him.

The others saw the burst of symbiotic mass take the form of Venom's head and face, which began to sprawl around in pain, spitting out saliva like an uncontrollable hound. For both host and symbiote, this treatment was akin to a hellish lightning chamber, releasing bursts of thunder from every single angle to assure he wasn't spared from the thunderstorm.

To him it was like being in the epicenter of a thunderstorm…

"FIGHT ON!" Venom exclaimed to his host.

"Speak for yourself!" Seth countered his partner, punching the floor with a clenched fist. The painful surge of lightning continued to come over him, forcing him to continue to punch and assault the floor with his fist.

"At this rate, we might have to worry about Seth breaking the floor." Cisco quipped.

"Still don't get what he's doing and where he's gonna go with this plan." Joe noted, hoping the science of this torturous plan wouldn't go over his head… Like most of the science going on here.

SCREAM

Everyone gasped when seeing Seth snap his head into the air, following with a deafening and demonic scream that could very well echo through the facility and reach the city. Venom released a scream that overlapped his host's, mixing their voices together in a strange inhuman combination of screams.

"Barry stop!" Iris screamed.

WHOOSH

In an instant, Barry came to a stop and slid to Iris' side. "What's going on with him? Is his plan working?" He asked while hearing the mutant and symbiote scream together.

"We need to close the portals." Caitlin saw the device Seth used and rushed to it on the platform, snatching it.

"Cait!" Seth got her attention before she could use it. He glanced back at her, now getting back on his feet. "It's fine." He empathized his point with the tendril with Venom's head turning into adamantium and he used all of his might to punch his fist into the ground.

Having seen the mutant use this technique before, the team realized he was using himself as a lightning rod, making the lightning latching onto his body travel through him and into the ground. The entire dome-like shape of the Klyntar Cave shone with the new energy being transferred into it.

Seth fell to his knee again, panting in exhaustion. "That was… Don't wanna do that again."

"pant…pant…Wimp…pantWhen'd you become…Such a wimp, Seth?" Venom inquired, panting himself.

"Can it… Get back in, we have work to do." Seth told his partner who nodded his agreement, retracting back into his host. "The girls a- are waiting!" He grunted, wiping blood away from his mouth while forcing himself back up to his feet.

"Seth!" Caitlin rushed down the platform, throwing away the device and sped down to her mate. "Are you okay?"

Chuckling at her words, Seth glanced at her. "Gotta admit, I've been better." Looking at the speedster, he admitted. "Thought you'd have stopped running earlier than that."

"Kept my promise is all." Barry commented. "You think you got what you need?"

"From you? Need one last thing, run me to the medbay with my daughters." Seth answered.

"Me too!" Caitlin exclaimed at the speedster.

Barry nodded.

WHOOSH

In an instant, he grabbed the two and ran out of the Klyntar Cave and towards the larger medbay.

X

WHOOSH

Barry came to a stop, releasing his grip on the couple's necks. Seth looked like he was gonna vomit. "Okay, last time I'm doing that while in this state."

"For the record, you're not doing this again." Caitlin sternly told him. She looked at the gurneys with a defeated look. "What's the plan, Seth?"

"Me… Going to that chair." Seth started moving towards the chair in the medbay, pulling it closer to the gurneys before taking a seat in it. "And letting him go through with his plan."

"What?" Caitlin asked in confusion when seeing him take a seat.

"Here we go… Venom, you're up. I can barely move." Seth leant back in his chair, his back touching the back support. As he sunk into his seat, the clothes around his stomach and chest began to shift and turn.

"Leave it to me." The symbiote responded before slithering out of his host again, forming a tendril with his face. Looking over the three girls, he assured them. "Don't worry girls, you're gonna be okay after this."

From the tendril bearing his head, two tendrils split from it and reached over to the hospitalized forms of Evelyn and Ruby. "Venom… Do something for Frankie and Magenta too." The host told him.

Half-turning his head, Venom gave his host a smirk. "Part of the plan, blabbering dumbass." He noted while a third tendrils split from the main tendril. The third one went to Frankie's body, and together with the two others, all three tendrils descended on the paining girls.

They touched the girls' stomachs and the tips of them all spread over their bodies akin to liquid washing over their bodies. Caitlin watched from her spot, the others returning to watch the same, seeing the tendrils pull away from Ruby and Evelyn, leaving behind…

A strange substance that seemed to move around on its own, slowly seeping into their skin.

"Seth… What is Venom doing?" Caitlin asked her mate, utterly confused and speechless about what's happening in front of her.

"Something I never wanted him to do." Seth muttered, turning his attention to the tendril connecting with Frankie's body. "Think you can help her?"

"Already doing it." Venom assured his host, removing the tendril from the ferrokinetic's body and bringing all tendrils to the one bearing his head. "It's done." He told both Caitlin and his host, then returned back to his partner's body.

"What did…" Caitlin trailed off her eyes wandering to the monitor overviewing their vitals. Previously it showed that their bodies were barely functioning, slowly withering away due to cellular degeneration and leaving them in extreme pain…

Tears stung her eyes, making it harder for her to see what was displayed on the large screen.

The three virtual forms of her three daughters' vitals and their bodily functions… They're improving… All three of them are getting better and their vitals are returning to normal. More importantly the white miasma in their bodies… They were being overtaken, defeated and replaced with a dark, pitch-black miasma.

Ruby has a black miasma inside of her now… Evelyn has a greyish miasma within her…

None of the girls seemed to be in anguish anymore, breathing normally and seemed to relax now.

"Seth what did you do?" Caitlin asked, thanking whatever action he and Venom took to make this happen.

"Just like me and Cait…" Seth showed a small smirk. "Venom's family got bigger."

(Speed Lab)

Next day in the Speed Lab, things were looking very good for Wally West who couldn't stop running in joy on the course in the training lab. Cisco, Barry, Iris and Joe watched him go and couldn't believe their eyes.

"Damn. How fast is he going?" Joe inquired.

Taking a glance at his tablet and peering back at the course with running lightning, Cisco revealed. "Faster than Barry could at the beginning."

Slowly walking into the facility, Caitlin walked in with both wrists cuffed with power-dampening cuts. "I, uh…" She had a lot to say to the team but struggled to get the words out. "I just wanted to-"

Cisco cut her off with a sudden but much needed hug. "It's okay." He spoke into her shoulder before pulling back. "You scared me for a second, getting all Mother of Dragons on me with that hair."

"Thank you." Caitlin smiled happily.

"How're the girls?" Iris asked, stepping closer to the doctor.

"Excitedly doing well and enthusiastic off the limits." Caitlin breathed out.

Joe knew that feeling all too well. "Every parent's worst nightmare."

"Trust me, I've already gone through mine last night. So, their current state is a much needed relief." Caitlin chortled. "They're in the Cave, working out with their dad."

"And Seth?" Barry asked, stepping into the conversation. "Is he doing better?"

"Much, but he's still exhausted from last night." Caitlin sadly replied.

As she spoke, the gate to the track course opened up and Wally sped out of it. With a wide smile, he pointed to the course, still feeling adrenaline coursing through him from the run. "That is the greatest feeling I've ever felt." He looked at Barry. "Barry, it's unreal."

"Yeah, it is." Barry agreed, knowing the feeling all too well.

"How fast was I going?" Wally asked.

"Too fast." Joe commented.

Wally gave his father a look. "Dad, don't look so worried. I'm fine. I feel fine. In fact, I feel kind of awesome, like everything is buzzing, electric, like I could do anything." He confessed.

"That is what it feels like." Barry told him, stepping closer to him and shaking hands with the new speedster0. "Got the Speed Force coursing through you, giving you power." They shared a one-armed hug. "You're a speedster now."

"Cool." Wally let out. "Um, so, what next?"

"Uh, Caitlin is gonna run every test she can think of on you, while also running the same on her own daughters." Joe stated, hoping she'd be doing the same for her children. "I mean, if you're up for it."

"Being a doctor? That, I'm always up for." Caitlin assured him. "But I need to check on my kids again before getting to Wally, just to be safe." Joe opened his arms, and she hugged him.

"Yeah. Um… But… When do I get to go out, Barry, with you?" Wally asked the speedster who noticed the viber moving out of the room.

Barry stammered, struggling to come up with a response and Iris pitched in to aid her boyfriend. "Okay, let's just take it one normal-speed step at a time." Joe's phone began vibrating and he took it out of his pocket.

"Slow down, Wallace." H.R. quipped.

Joe looked at his notification and saw the message. "Barr, it's the hospital. Julian's awake."

Caitlin exhaled deeply. "He know it was me. He knows what I did."

"Don't worry. I'll talk to him. It'll be fine. I promise." Barry assured his friend. Parts of him thought about having Seth do this talk, but it might end up with him threatening to tear Julian a new one if he exposes Caitlin's identity.

"Thanks." Caitlin told him before moving to the exit, having to check on her daughters and her mate.

X

(Klyntar Cave)

"WOOHOO!" Ruby shouted, performing a single leap from the floor and performing backflips in the air as she came closer to the ceiling. Instead of using her hands to catch onto something on it, she spun around and attached her feet to it.

With her hair falling down, she looked directly down at her father with a wide smile. "Dad, this is seriously cool!"

"You can say that again! Feels awesome!" Ruby's "other" declared with a mental laugh.

"Glad to hear, Rubs." Seth smiled, happy to see that she's up and at them so quickly, especially after everything that happened last night.

Evelyn shadowported into the air, latching onto a wall and looking down on her father. "Hey, Dad?" She got his attention. "You look small from up here."

"You could have said something cooler; you know." Evelyn's "other" sternly told her host.

"Can it." Evelyn replied back out loud.

"You guys are getting the hang of it quickly." Frankie noted, latching onto a wall with her feet and walking calmly up the hard surface. "It's really impressive."

Ruby smirked, flicking her hair. "We're just naturals, sis. You could learn a thing or two, you know?"

A vein popped on her forehead, followed by a tick. "Wanna say that again, train-wreck?" Frankie gritted her teeth.

"Seriously…" Seth shook his head when hearing his daughters beginning to bicker and fight. But he couldn't help but smile in happiness. Now his family was okay and reunited again, and got bigger now with Venom's plan from last night.

The anti-symbiotes inside of Ruby and Evelyn were too strong for them to fight, which is why they had to use the opposite to fight the anti-symbiotes inside of the girls, symbiotes. With that plan in mind, Seth finally agreed to let Venom birth two symbiote children inside of the girls, which managed to fight off and erase the opposing symbiotes.

It helped and brought their daughters back to full strength as soon as morning arrived. The girls were ecstatic to hear that they were okay and are now, like their father and sister, hosts to their very own symbiotes.

They healed everything done to them. Evelyn's symbiote got her out of the sleep and Ruby's symbiote healed her arms completely, allowing her to use her gravity powers again. Frankie was doing better as well, having gotten pieces of the Venom symbiote into her body to aid Magenta in the healing process.

"How's it feel to have a symbiote inside of you now?" Seth inquired of his children.

"Feels awesome." Ruby said, easily jumping off a wall and onto the floor. "I mean, we can do stuff like this." She displayed her new abilities, standing on one hand. "It's freaking cool."

"Cool, yeah." Caitlin declared, moving into the training lab. "But I think we can all agree we're just happy you're back again, girls. That you're okay. We missed you."

"Missed you too, mom." Evelyn replied, jumping off the wall.

"Yeah… Feels like ages since we've seen you guys." Frankie admitted.

"Glad it wasn't anything like that." Seth stated happily.

"But now with your symbiotes… You need something don't they?" Caitlin stated.

"You mean names for them?" Ruby asked. "Already brainstorming some."

"Except for that…." Caitlin looked to her mate. "You guys need to be personally trained under our residential symbiote combatant."

"You sure about that?" Seth asked.

"Better you than anyone else, so yeah." Caitlin assured him with a nod of her head.

After this, they're gonna go back home and just enjoy a calm, soothing night with one another.

(CCPD, CSI Lab)

Inside the CSI Lab of the police station, Barry was in the process of clearing out his desk after having spoken with Julian Albert at the hospital.

To ensure that Caitlin wouldn't be incarcerated and put in prison for her actions as a metahuman, Barry went to visit Julian as soon as he got word of him waking up and tried to convince him that she was a good person who was sick and didn't deserve to be punished for it.

Barry pulled out all the stops, telling the metahuman expert that she has three daughters who were in a critical condition, and she took desperate actions to try and save them. The speedster said he'd do anything to help out his friends.

Julian accepted… But at a price… Barry would have to resign as CSI scientist for the CCPD. Julian wholeheartedly believed that Barry's moral compass is broken. He refuses to work with someone whose sense of right or wrong is as flippant as the weather, someone who thinks friendship is more important than justice.

In his eyes, Barry was unfit to be a CSI. Barry Allen has no place in law enforcement.

The speedster accepted the terms and agreement, agreeing to turn in his resignation effective from the Central City Department.

"Hey." Iris said, getting his attention as she and her father moved into the lab.

"Hey." Barry greeted them.

Stopping in front of him, Iris said. "We just heard from Singh. You quit? What, what is going on?"

With an exhale, Barry replied. "I, um, didn't really have a choice."

"What do you mean, you didn't have a choice?" Iris asked.

Joe realized what he meant. "Julian." He pieced together. "You quit; he keeps his mouth shut about Caitlin."

"That son of a bitch." Iris growled.

"Got that right."

The two Wests and Barry looked to the windows, one of which is open, allowing Seth to get in. "Heard the same, guy's more cold-blooded than I thought." He said, leaning against the open window behind him. Turning his eyes to the speedster, the mutant said. "Heard you took the fall for Caitlin's sake, thanks for it. Know it's hard to let go of something you love."

"Thanks, but don't worry." Barry put a framed photo into his box. "But I don't know. Julian said I couldn't do something like protect Caitlin and still be a good CSI and maybe he's right."

"No, he's not." Iris countered. "Barry, you are an incredible CSI and no one in this building cares more about helping people find justice than you. And that was long before you were the Flash. this lab, it's your life. It's something you love."

"She's right on that." Seth pitched in.

"Just like Caitlin's your life, Seth… Iris is my life." Barry lovingly told the reporter. "You too, Joe." He turned to the mutant. "Same goes for you, Caitlin, your daughters… Wally and Cisco."

"Likewise." Seth admitted, surprising the West members.

Barry continued, putting on the lid. "If these past few months have taught me anything, it's that I would give up everything I have to keep you all safe. No regrets." He looked back to the elemental. "And… I wanna make things right with you and your family, Seth. I'll work my ass off to do that. I have to work for that. Cause I wanna be your friend again."

"Well, admittedly so, it's a pain in the ass to always verbally destroy you." Seth smirked.

Iris chuckled. "Yeah, we've seen you writhing in pain, bud." Seth gave a shrug.

"Every time I think you've run out of ways to be a hero; you show me another one." Joe told his son, walking to him and giving him a hug. "You hungry?"

"Yeah." Barry said, unwrapping his arms.

"Yeah, let's get out of here. Seth, you wanna join?" Joe offered the elemental.

"Thanks for the offer, but I got some much needed family time to catch up on." Seth said moving to the window again. "Barry, thanks again."

"Sure thing." Barry nodded and watched the elemental leaping out of the window.

(Snow-Fury Loft)

Later that same day, night time had rolled in and covered the city, Caitlin stood at the doorframe of Frankie's room. Looking into the room, she saw her daughter sleeping soundly and happily in her bed. She was happy and smiling widely to see her young child safe and sound again, sleeping like a rock after sharing a hearty meal of the greatest fast food the city could offer, along with various burgers and chocolate milkshakes with her family.

She saw her fidget in the bed and kicked off her covers. With a roll of her eyes, Caitlin slowly and carefully walked into the room. She pulled the covers over her daughter again, tucking her in. The mother leant down, placing a motherly kiss on her forehead. "I'm happy you're okay, Frankie Snow-Fury."

Walking back to the doorframe, she gently closed the door and walked down the staircase. Checking the side, she made sure that the window was open for her mate to come in. Crossing the living room, Caitlin looked into the bedrooms belonging to Evelyn and Ruby.

Unlike their sister upstairs, they hadn't kicked off their covers. But that didn't mean she couldn't go in and give them the same treatment. Caitlin walked into Ruby's bedroom, making sure to walk carefully and kiss her forehead. "Glad you're alright again, Ruby Snow-Fury."

Carefully walking out of the bedroom, she turned her eyes to Evelyn's and walked into it. Leaning down to her daughter's head, she placed a kiss on her forehead. "Good night, Evelyn Snow-Fury."

Caitlin walked out of the bedroom, closing the doors on both Evelyn's and Ruby's bedrooms. She walked into the living room, seeing Seth had returned and taken a seat on the couch. "Hey, you just got home?"

"Yeah. Had to work off that meal, you know." Seth joked, patting his stomach.

Taking a seat on the couch beside him, Caitlin saw a look of worry on his face. "Something on your mind?"

"Nah… Just feels like the first night I had with Frankie after adopting her is all." Seth admitted. "But better, cause it's like the entire family's anew."

"You mean since Venom got two new daughters himself?" Caitlin chuckled. "Can't believe he was willing to do that even."

"Same. He was determined." Seth glanced at the bedrooms belonging to their daughters. "At first I was against it… But this was Venom's choice above all else. He wanted to save our daughters, and he wasn't gonna take no for an answer. Though it felt inhumane in my book, birthing children to save others."

"Yeah." Caitlin agreed. "But like you said, he wasn't gonna take no for an answer and was determined to save our daughters." She looked around. "Feels like the first night Frankie and I spent with Ruby and Evelyn after adopting them… Just better, now that we're all together."

"Definitely." Seth showed a mischievous smirk, pulling closer to her. "But I bet I could make it better."

"Oh yeah. How do you propose-"

He interrupted her with a kiss placed on top of her lips. Caitlin reciprocated immediately. She was able to kiss the man she loves again… and this time she didn't do it to keep him away from her and didn't have to resort to her ice powers. Now she could share a kiss with him, one that two of them would thoroughly enjoy. Seth enjoyed the kiss with all of his heart… He was able to enjoy spending time with the most amazing woman he ever met again.

And best of all, he wasn't gonna get frostbite from kissing her this time.

Crawling up the side of a building that is on the opposite side of the building where Seth and Caitlin were kissing, was Anti-Venom.

The wretched titan came to a stop, latching onto the side of the building and then turned his head, pointing his red eyes at glass where he could clearly see Seth and Caitlin embracing one another in a kiss. He turned his head with interest, watching them…

Watching one of them…

His tongue slithered out of his own maw, licking his underjaw and his teeth while watching the one he saw before. Anti-Venom turned his head around, twitching it and fidgeting as he spoke….

"C..C…ait…" Anti-Venom gagged and coughed, struggling to speak all of sudden. But then the wretched titan narrowed his eyes on the couple again, focusing on the one….

"Caitlin." He managed to speak clearly. "Caitlin… Snow…" He said longingly...

He displayed happiness at the sight of her…

Something most wouldn't think of the wretched titan…

(Mercury Labs)

Nighttime had rolled over the entire city and Eliza Harmon stood in her lab, impatiently tapping her fingers against her table and gritting her teeth in annoyance of having to wait any longer for that moronic mercenary.

"Where is he?" Eliza pulled up her sleeve, showing her wristwatch and tapped on it. "I should really take this out of his payment."

"Now that doesn't sound nice."

Eliza snapped around, turning to meet Taskmaster limping towards her. "You look like crap." The scientist noted bluntly, taking his battered armor and dented weaponry. She also saw the crack on one of his eye lenses. "What, Venom used you as his chew toy?" She mused.

"Not him, his twin I think." Taskmaster quipped, reaching into one of his pockets.

"Twin, what? You're saying Seth Fury got a twin here in this universe?" Eliza asked in confusion.

"No. I don't know what he is, but…. You might." Taskmaster pulled his hand out of his pocket, showing a vial in between his fingers.

Inspecting it closer, the scientist saw that it was identical to what the mercenary brought her after retrieving a sample from Venom. But this vial had something else in it… a strange, swirling white mass with black streaks. "What is this?"

"Anti-Venom." Taskmaster answered. "Someone who could easily overwhelm Venom."

The ideas began to flood into Eliza's mind, an insanely happy grin forming on her mouth.

This way… a being that's gonna surpass both Venom and Anti-Venom would be birthed… and stand as the apex predator of Central City.

To be continued…

And that's a chapter, peeps!

Savitar had showed himself with the Vile Destroyer, Anti-Venom. While the speed god dealt with the Scarlet Speedster, Seth fought the wretched titan. It was a fight that wasn't in his favor as his elemental strikes were absorbed without problems.

Furthermore, the titan brought out the abomination inside of Seth when he infected the mutant's daughters with anti-symbiotes after defeating the Sinister Seven.

This tactic brought out Killer Frost from within Caitlin Snow, forcing her to take actions herself when she hit a wall in trying to help her daughters. She went to one of Alchemy's acolytes to find the wretched titan.

She was intercepted by Seth and Cisco, both of them stopped her and brought her back to the facility. She let her emotions out and spoke harshly to the speedster, who deserved it.

After that, Seth found a drastic measure to save his daughters… But it would hurt him without a doubt. But it worked with the Scarlet Speedster's aid, allowing him to destabilize himself enough so his partner could birth two symbiotes in both Ruby and Evelyn, fighting off the anti-symbiotes within them.

Granted, I don't recall if there is such a thing as anti-symbiotes in Marvel universe, but in fanfiction anything is possible.

Meanwhile Wally was ecstatic at his newfound speed and couldn't wait to use it outside in the field.

In the end… Taskmaster brought a sample of Anti-Venom's symbiote to Eliza, who smiled at the possibilities of using this herself.

Stay tuned and until next time, peeps!
