This story takes place just before the events of Kingdom Hearts 2 The Nintendo Version: The 8th Princess, after Ash lost the Hoenn League and won the Frontier Battle; this in remembrance for Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu being their last appearance as the protagonists this week. Pokémon is from Nintendo and Digimon is from Toei Animation.

*FLY AWAY (BACK ON)*

Ash (Hoenn outfit) and Pikachu were looking at the sky from a cliff when the wind blew his hat and ran to get it.

[Saa ryoute hiroge ano kumo o koete]

Ash and Pikachu were trying together to get it and the seven Digidestined (Tai, Sora, Matt, Joe, Mimi, Izzy and TK) with their respective Digimon joined the duo.

[niji no aachi kugutte mezasu basho e fly away]

Ash, Pikachu and everyone ran through some trees before bursting out.

[mukaikaze datte dekai kabe datte

oikaze matotte mezasu basho e]

Ash and Pikachu land and turn to see everyone looking ready for what's to come.

Ash was petting Pikachu, the camera moved to Matt playing his harmonica with Gabumon to his right side.

["Take you to the shining place from a maze"]

TK sat and petted his Patamon next to him while Joe was studying with Gomamon next to him.

Izzy was speaking with Tentomon with a small portable laptop in his hands while Sora is walking with Ash grabbing his right hand and Biyomon to her right side.

hitotsubu no shizuku ga hirogatte iro toridori no hana o sakashite'ku]

Mimi put her pink hat on Palmon's head while Tai and Agumon were running through the plains, they jumped landing in the ground and laughed.

The scene shows the sky getting dark as Ash, Pikachu, the Digidestined with their Digimon having scrapes in their bodies were facing Devimon.

[kizutsukete kizutsuite kurayami de sakende'ta]

The human children pulled out their Digivices and they glowed and so did the Digimon as their forms changed and flashed as Ash called out his Pokémon.

[ima hikari terasu ano sora no hate e]

Tai was riding on Greymon who uses Nova Blast, Matt riding on top of Garurumon who uses Howling Blaster, Izzy riding on Kabuterimon who uses Electro Shocker, Togemon jumps over Mimi and uses Needle Spray.

[kimi no te o tsukande hanasanai you ni]

Joe rides on Ikkakumon and uses Harpoon Torpedo, Sora rides on Birdramon with Ash behind her, Birdramon uses Meteor Wing, Pikachu jumps and uses Thunderbolt.

[fly away]

TK looks on as Angemon flies down in front of him and uses Hand of Fate at the screen making the scene change to everyone falling into a dark place with the Digimon back in their child forms.

[mukaikaze datte dekai kabe datte

oikaze matotte mezasu basho e]

The dark place changes into light, and you see Kari with Gatomon, Tyson (OC, brown haired boy around TK's age) with his Pichu, Red (Ash's father) with his own Pikachu as the group reaches down.

[boku ga soba ni iru kara]

Ash picks up his hat and puts it on and looks at the screen with Pikachu, The team and the other mentionables.
