Season 3- Episode 3- The Grand Reveal
_Hey guys! I apologize for being gone for a while. A war started near my area and tensions are high, but here I am! Updates might be slow, but I'll try my best :D Enjoy!
_The Shredder sat on his throne as he watched over his underlings. He summoned all of his clan, including his daughter, Karai. They all squirmed nervously while staying in their bowing positions on the floor in front of the throne's stairs. They waited curiously for their master to tell them the reason for summoning them. No one missed the expression on the Shredder's face, that could be seen even with his usual helmet on. He wore a frown that meant that something was serious.
"Father? May I ask why we are here? Did something happen?" Karai asked the question that everyone wanted the answer to, her voice just above a whisper in order to be heard but still silent enough to pay respects to her father and master of the clan.
The rest of the people in the room directed their gaze at her for a moment, before looking back at the floor from their bowing positions, awaiting the Shredder's response with curiosity.
The Shredder stood up from his throne as the frown that he had on his face deepened.
"I have important news to tell you. Stockman knows already, and you should know as well." The Shredder announced as he looked over his clan.
"It's about one of the turtles."
_"...What?" Karai asked in a weak and trembling voice.
The Shredder had revealed the news, and the response was… Well, silence. He explained about how he came to find out about this information and the whole situation. Everyone was too shocked to respond. They all had the same stunned expressions. Their eyes grew in size as their irises dilated, and their mouths opened like a gaping fish. They broke their respectful positions long ago and stared right at their master. The Shredder huffed in annoyance at their reaction. 'I will need to work with them on taming their expression of emotions better.' Shredder thought to himself. He sat back on his throne as he spoke:
"I am not aware if Yoshi had told Donatello or the rest of that pathetic clan about the truth. We will need to find out about that." The Shredder said as anger laced his voice. His hand clenched into a fist, slightly quivering as he attempted to control the way that he presents himself to the clan.
"But- How didn't you know about him? How could you find out about him only a few days ago?!" Karai asked as she got up from her position on the floor and walked in the direction of the throne, standing directly in front of the stairs leading up to it.
"I am unsure of that." The Shredder said simply, trying to be patient with his daughter.
"But-!" Karai attempted to argue until she was cut off.
"Karai. I do not know." The Shredder said as he looked right at his daughter. He stopped himself from scolding her for acting disrespectful. She was shocked, after all. Karai closed her mouth and stopped herself from continuing the argument any further.
"...So… I'm not the only one…" She whispered to herself as she looked at her feet, her eyes wide and mouth slightly agape as she attempted to digest the information.
"Master!" Bradford called out, drawing the Shredder's attention. "Are you saying that one of those turtles… This is absurd!" He raised his voice in order to stress his lack of acceptance of the situation. It is quite hard to believe, after all.
"Yet it was proven." The Shredder replied simply.
"By the bug." Xever added disrespectfully as he shot a glare at Stockman, who was hovering in the corner of the room. Stockman huffed in annoyance as he crossed his arms and turned his head the other way, acting like an upset little child.
"Let's be honest, master. Why would-" Bradford said arrogantly, wanting to dismiss Stockman's findings before he was cut off by a yell.
"ENOUGH!" Tigerclaw bellowed, his yell echoing all around the room.
"You should never show this type of disrespect to your master! Yet you claim to be a part of this clan! If he says that it's true, then it's true." Tigerclaw was known to be traditional and VERY loyal to the clan and the Shredder, so it's not a surprise that he's this angry by their reaction. It would be a lie to say that he wasn't shocked himself, he really was. But he still refuses to act like a child just because he finds the findings of his master as something that is hard to grasp.
The Shredder smirked as he looked at Tigerclaw with pride. Xever and Bradford sent Tigerclaw glares of annoyance and slight jealousy of the Shredder's approval as he crossed his arms, his frown turning into a threatening glare in response. Loyalty like this, good senses and an amazing strength of a warrior is what brought Tigerclaw to be greatly respected by the Shredder. Even at this moment, while everyone was bowing in front of the leader of the clan, Tigerlaw stood beside the throne with his head held high in authority. Well, aside for him, Stockman wasn't bowing either, but honestly, the Shredder considered him more of a worker rather than a part of this clan, which is why he never demanded it of him. Stockman's too scared to betray the clan anyways.
"Now, listen to me." The Shredder declared as his tone became threatening and his glare darkened. "If any of you will harm Donatello in any way, you will find yourselves groveling by my feet and begging for your lives." The Shredder growled as the entire clan found itself being filled with fear. Well, except Tigerclaw, which wasn't a surprise.
"As of now, Donatello is considered a property of the Foot clan. Do not disappoint me and go against my orders." The Shredder warned as he looked at his soldiers, sending them a threatening look, just daring them to betray him. If anyone is in their right minds, they would never go against the Shredder. He always stands true to his promises.
_And that's it! Thank you for reading :D I hope that you like the story so far. Hopefully I'll be able to update more normally soon, but either way, I'll try my best! See you next time!
