Season 3- Episode 11- Uncertainty

-

April and Donnie sat by Casey's unconscious form, as Mikey, Raph and Leo stood in front of them and discussed the situation at hand.

'What situation?' You might ask? Well, to sum up, Leo was dumb enough to bring the enemy to their lair.

"I still think that you are stupid, by the way." Raph said with a scoff as he crossed his hands with a frown.

"Can you stop it? It's not a trap." Leo groaned in mental tiredness as his shoulders slacked.

"I am on Raph's side." Donnie declared with a bored and judgeful expression that was aimed at Leo.

"Ha!" Raph snickered as Leo rolled his eyes.

"Come on, Donnie! Out of everyone, you are supposed to side with me! Getting Karai on our side will help us! She can give us information, fight on our side, stuff like that!" Leo exclaimed in desperation as he threw his arms in the air.

"Or bite you in the shell." Donnie said as he rolled his eyes and Mikey chuckled at his response.

"Donnie… I think that we should give her a chance!" April begged as she looked sadly at Donnie, believing that there is potential in Karai.

"Dudes, maybe we really should give her a chance." Mikey said as he rubbed his chin in consideration.

"Are you kidding me, Mikey?!" Raph said, aggravated as he groaned.

Donnie sighed as he shook his head tiredly. "Let's just ask Master Splinter."

"Great idea!" Leo said smugly, as he smirked at Raph.

"Don't celebrate too early, Fearless. He might be on my side." Raph said with a condescending huff. "How's Casey?" Raph changed the subject, worrying about his friend as he looked over him with a frown.

"Don't worry. He will be fine. He just needs some rest." Donnie said with a gentle and reassuring smile, making Raph slightly lighten up and smile back at him. "Alright."

"So wait… If we really do accept Karai… And she accepts us… Does that make her our little sister?" Mikey asked in confusion as he looked over his brothers, who stared blankly at him in response.

"You know, since Donnie was born before her, and Donnie and us are the same age." Mikey added as he scratched the side of his head in thought.

"I would hate that." Raph growled as his face turned into a frown of slight disgust.

"Come on, Raph…" April said desperately, acceptance of Karai being important in her opinion.

"I'm not giving up on my 'youngest' privileges." Mikey huffed in discontent as he crossed his arms and pouted.

"What- Are you serious?" Leo said with a frustrated groan as he dragged his hand over his face.

"You would give up on those 'privileges' for a box of pizza." Raph said with a condescending tone, only to have Mikey excitedly look at him.

"What?! Really? You promise?!" Mikey asked with a burst of energy and a big smile as he hopped in place repeatedly.

"I shouldn't have said that." Raph huffed as he pinched Mikey's cheek in an attempt to make him stop.

"OW!" Mikey yelped as he grabbed Raph's hand. "Not cool!"

"It's only going to get more and more complicated. Isn't it?" Donnie asked with a tired sigh.

"Yep." April replied as she squeezed his shoulder in understanding.

"Raph. If Leo was wrong and Karai will betray us, you are my new leader." Donnie declared nonchalantly, although everyone could notice that he was slightly aggravated at Leo.

"W-what?!" Leo yelped as Raph chuckled. "Shell yeah!"

"What? Raph is our new leader?" Mikey asked in surprise, as April laughed.

"No! You should listen more." Leo said with annoyance in his tone.

"Donnie, I'm taking you up on this statement." Raph said with a smirk, as Donnie smiled mischievously in response.

"What? No! No one is replacing me." Leo basically whined, with a childish pout.

"Only time will tell, big brother. You better prove yourself worthy." Donnie declared, sending Leo a glare that indicated that he was still very much upset over what he had done.

Leo chuckled awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously, getting the message of Donnie's glare.

"I'm sure that it will be fine…" Leo mumbled, although it did not help Donnie's worries. He was sure that something wasn't right. And Donnie was the smart one. If anyone could understand the basics of having rivals, it's him.
