Season 4 Episode 8- Rescue Mission 2.0

"Did Karai seriously forget about the tracker in our T-Phones?" Raph rolled his eyes at how obvious it should have been for her.
"Well, it made finding her location easier so I'm not complaining, dude. At least Donnie gave her the phone at the right time." Mikey shrugged as Leo parked the car.
"The Shredder might be with her in the lab, my sons. I will be the one to deal with him. You shall deal with the rest of his soldiers." Splinter declared with a dark tone, frowning at what was about to come.
"Hai, sensei." They said in unison as they got up from their seats and picked up their weapons.

Donatello couldn't think anymore. He couldn't notice what he was doing as he walked around the lair with a distant and emotionless expression. He collected things that he did not realize he was taking in the first place. He was moving in directions he didn't notice he was moving until he arrived where he intended to arrive. Perhaps it was emotional exhaustion. It was odd, since Donatello, the turtle with the mind that never stops working, had his mind shut down completely. He was like a living doll.

The Hamatos sneaked into the lab from above, watching over the room from the shadows.
The lab had a big table, full of Stockman's chemicals and gadgets, with some random small animals in cages beside it. It was very spacious, and had many big wooden crates dispersed near the walls and corners of the room.
The barely working lightning, the gray floor and walls, together with the high, wide windows that nearly touched the roof, gave the room an eerie atmosphere.
However, the most eerie thing in the room was, in fact, the huge mutagen canister in the middle of it, that gave off a glowing green light, which was the main thing that lit up the room.
The Hamatos' eyes widened as they could spot Karai tied to some sort of a cage that hung above it.
And Shredder and his henchmen that were walking around the room and conversing, were most likely waiting specifically for their presence.
They flinched as Tigerclaw suddenly pulled out his gun and shot in their direction, making them jump down to the floor and leave their hiding spot, since they were discovered anyway.
Both of the clans stared at each other with hatred, anger, anticipation and much more, making the room go silent for a few uncomfortable seconds.
The Shredder smirked so widely that it could be noticed even with his mask, as he looked at Splinter's angry gaze, making Splinter's stance stiffen.
"It seems that you forced my son to stand down once again. Are you afraid that he will run away and go back to his real father?" He taunted with a cynical chuckle, as the rest of the Hamatos, aside from Splinter, who remained calm, growled angrily in response.
"It seems that you are indeed aware of Donatello's origin. Although, it does not change the reality that we live in." Splinter replied calmly, as the Shredder frowned in anger.
'Donatello probably knows the truth.' He huffed. 'You better prepare yourself, Yoshi. After I mutate your three monstrous sons and turn them into serpents, I shall use them to extract the location of my son from you, and then destroy you.' The Shredder thought to himself, as he could feel a smirk pull at his lips once again, as he crossed his arms.
"I finally have the opportunity to get rid of your useless existence, Yoshi. You better fight rather than hide." He chuckled devilishly.
"Let my daughter go, Saki." Splinter ignored his comment as his frown deepened.
"You're welcome to rescue my daughter if you can, dear friend." The Shredder challenged, as footbots slowly entered the room from the shadows with their weapons out.
Splinter charged at the Shredder, and as if on cue, the rest of the Hamatos entered the fight as well.
"Yes! Fight me, rat!" The Shredder smirked as he and Splinter attempted to slash and kick at each other.
The turtles slashed at the robots, taking them down one by one. It was suspiciously easy for them, especially with The Shredder's mutants avoiding the fight for some reason. Although, they could guess why, since without noticing, the robots directed them right onto folding cages that laid on the floor. With a yelp, Raph and Mikey got trapped inside of them within the moment they stepped on them. Leo, while he used his sword to block one of the bot's swings of a katana, looked at them with wide eyes and a gasp, understanding too late the dire situation that was at hand. That it was indeed a trap.
The Footbots started to throw ropes at Splinter, trapping him in place as he struggled against them with a frustrated groan.
Leo stepped onto a cage, which nearly trapped him. However, luckily, he managed to block the cage from entirely closing using the tip of his sword. "Ah!" He yelled as he reopened the cage using his body's strength. He ran in his brothers' direction with determination and a hurry, panicking from the Shredder trapping Splinter as well.
He broke the cages that his brothers were in, releasing them and letting them join the fight, and ran to the mutagen canister. He cut a rope and grabbed onto it, as it lifted him to the top of the canister. "Hang on, Karai!" He called out, as he landed on Karai's cage. He took off the duct tape which blocked her mouth from speaking.
"Thanks." She smiled at him, as he smiled back at her. Leo slowly opened the cage and untied Karai from it. They jumped on the edge of the canister and were about to get down. Or at least, that's what they had planned.
"Leonardo!" Leo heard his father exclaim.
He whipped his head to the side only to see the Shredder land on the canister's edge as well.
Leo and Karai yelled out in fear, as The Shredder extracted his fist, and was about to punch Leo and make him fall into the mutagen.
Leo knew that this was it.
He was going to fall into the mutagen and get turned into a mindless mutant. He yelled out, as The Shredder went for the strike.
But it never came.
Leo and Karai gasped loudly in terror.
Karai covered her quivering mouth with her hand as Leo's hold on her tightened.
The whole room went deadly silent.
As Donnie appeared out of nowhere and took Leo's hit.
Donnie could hear his family, and even the Shredder, scream out his name, as he crashed onto the mutagen with a horrified scream, causing a huge splash on the canister's inner walls.
