Chapter 5: Russian Mob VS Baba Yaga

Ippan Josei was in the process of calming down the man who barged into her restaurant. The man was one of her regulars as well as a good friend. His name was Mr Uraraka and he was head of the Uraraka construction company. The company was well known for its non-discrimination policies and Because of This a lot of people with mutant quirks and the quirkless Were working in his company. And it was for the same reason that his company was on the downhill. Nobody wanted to hire them because of his employee's quirk status. But Mr Uraraka refused to change his policy or fire any of his workers because of that. It was because of this he had a very strong bond with the mutant and quirkless community. And it was for the same reason that everybody in her restaurant was practically ready to go to war against the Russian mob.

It took her 30 minutes to calm them down and for Mr Uraraka to explain Where they took her. When she heard the location she could not help but facepalm and hope Izuku would be okay. She also wondered why every time that Izuku went out and delivered food for her he would end up saving a Damsel in Distress. At least she could relieve the worries of her patrons at the knowledge that Izuku would be handling it. Because if she were being honest, knowing him he would probably just end up wiping out the entire Russian mob In the process of saving his own ass as well as the girls.

With Izuku

Izuku was quickly able to realize that he was Traveling deep into Russian mob territory, the amount of members loitering around was evidence of that. But none of them seemed to make any move once they got a glimpse of his jacket and hat. That was good, that meant they got the message and his chances of going into conflict with them were lowering. However, as he gets closer to the location where he is going to deliver the food too, his instincts are screaming at him that something isn't right and that something is going to happen.

A normal person Would just turn around and walk the opposite way. But at this point, Izuku knew that whatever was going to happen was inevitable And it was pointless to attempt to avoid it. Plus it might actually look suspicious that a delivery man turned around and left their territory without delivering their food. So entering the apartment complex which was right next to a nightclub (if Izuku had to guess the two buildings were connected) and headed up towards the door that he had to deliver the food to. Knocking twice and announcing himself he waited for the door to open.

Once it was, Izuku was greeted by a Shirtless muscular man with Russian prison tattoos that Izuku immediately recognized. From the amount of Domes on the cathedral that were Tattooed onto his chest, he served around 4 years in prison. He also recognized a couple of other tattoos that proved that he had killed before. Which was just great, he had to take the delivery that would have delivered food to a convicted Criminal with multiple kills underneath his belt. Well, at least it wasn't an employee of Ippan. Acting as naturally as possible Izuku handed him the food as well as the receipt as the man pulled out the money. Izuku could see that he was sporting a Glock that was tucked in the back of his pants. The man was about to hand him the money and Izuku was quite happy that the man had no plan on trying to pull that gun on him instead of paying.

But that all changed the second that a girl screamed out for help. It came from inside the apartment along with a painful cry as the sound of flesh Meeting flesh rang out through the air. The man seeing Izuku's reaction pulled his gun in the hopes of killing the witness that is Izuku. But his instincts took over and he put his thumb right between the Striker, preventing the gun from firing as he pulled the gun out of the man's hand. Izuku then pulled out his own Glock and shot him twice.

His Glock was modified with a silencer so it would have been a lot quieter than if the other man's glock went off. Izuku did not want to risk Alerting any of the other apartments that definitely had other Russian mob members inside. Which is why he was quick to enter the apartment and pull the man inside. Izuku quickly unloaded the man's Glock and Tuck the magazine into one of his pockets before removing the slide off the gun and tossing it onto the man. Keeping his gun raised Izuku entered deeper into the apartment, Knowing that there was still a possibility that somebody heard what he did to their friend.

It was a good thing too because a man was definitely starting to approach the corner to the doorway with his gun raised. Catching the man's shadow from around the corner Izuku was able to take him out with a shot from his Glock. But the second that the man fell to the ground a second man pushed in from behind him. Izuku raised the man's gun arm up out of Harm's Way before shooting the man in the chest twice. Turning down the hallway he noticed that there was an open staircase That went downstairs, There was also another man moving up it. Firing again he hit the man heading up the staircase taking him out of the fight.

Izuku cleared what appeared to be a Welcoming room on the top floor which only had a second room which was empty. Heading down the stairs, he knew that they definitely knew he was here now. He could not risk the hostage or them sounding the alarm so he needed to clear the apartment quickly. As Izuku headed down the corridor a man attempted to Ambush him at the end of it as he turned the corner. But Izuku was able to smash the man's gun down before bashing his head in with his elbow. With practice ease, Izuku needs him in his stomach before judo flipping him onto his back, and Shooting him twice in the chest, taking another man out of the fight.

Heading into an open room Izuku shot a man in the chest. His gun clicked empty, and he saw that the man was not completely down yet due to him having a Lion mutation quirk. This probably meant that he would take another round or two of stun rounds to take him out, So Izuku was forced to tackle him. So using him, As well as himself, and their combined momentum to roll before Stabilizing himself on top of the man. Izuku then pulled out his secondary weapon and took another shot. Which ended up nailing another man. A man attempted to sneak up behind him but Izuku world around and shot him twice in the chest before standing up and double-tapping the man that he tackled. The man was already extremely dazed due to the mixture of him shooting him and tackling him but he didn't want to take any chances. Quickly reloading Both of his guns with Stun mags. He realized that the only person left in the room was a brunette girl with a busted lip tied to a chair. Keeping his guard up he Approached the girl before speaking.

"Okay, I'm not here to hurt you. I was just a delivery guy who they decided to try to kill. Luckily for me and you, I'm a highly-trained delivery guy who they decided to kill. Anyway, My name is Izuku." Izuku says as he searches everybody he knocked out.

As he searched them he collected spare mags and ammo that were compatible with his Glock and his SIG. Sadly he could only get two other mags of live rounds. Normally he would pick up a handgun that had the most ammo just in case. But most of the bastards had Makarov's and he used them enough times in Russia to know how crappy An idea that would be. The next thing he was searching for was the keys to her cuffs and anything else available but as he was halfway through searching the last guy the girl finally spoke up.

"I'm, Ochaco, Ochaco Uraraka." Ochaco says, still in a bit of shock. Seeing this Izuku attempted to get her focused.

"Well, Miss Uraraka I need you to focus. Can you tell me if these guys called for any help while I was in the middle of engaging them? Or which one has your keys to your cuffs?" Izuku asked causing Ochaco to snap out of it.

"No, none of them called for help and the guy who had the keys to my cuffs is a hero who helped them kidnap me. I think it was Captain Celebrity, he used the door behind the bookshelf to head to the club to get something to drink. The guys you knocked out commented a couple of times that he was probably going to get himself wasted again and wouldn't be back until tomorrow. Which they seem to be annoyed about." Ochaco says a bit nervous.

Izuku can only sigh at this turn of events. If Captain Celebrity was involved that means they probably had multiple Heroes on the payroll and probably a couple of cops. Calling them would probably just make every Russian mob member in the area Barge down the door to the apartment and kill them.

Izuku needed to come up with a plan and-. His thoughts were cut off when his hands went to the man's Pockets that he just started searching, and he found a set of car keys. An idea popped into his head, so going to one of the windows that had A view of the parking lot in front of the club. He pressed the lock button on the car key controller and when he saw a Mustang lights light up for a brief second, A smile spread over his face. Now he knew that he had a getaway car, and If he knew the Russians as well as he did, that Beast was armored as well as fast.

Heading over to the girl he pulled out his knife and started prying off the chain to the handcuffs that were binding her. The Quirk disabling handcuffs were state of the art, so pick-locking them would be extremely hard. But the chain connecting them wasn't as strong as people like to think. There were a couple of tricks to detaching the chain and all of them he could easily perform. So he should be able to get her free, even though she still wouldn't be able to use her quirk She could still defend herself, Somewhat. Once she was free He handed her his armored employee jacket that Ippan gave him for the job so she had more protection. It didn't really matter to him since he was wearing his armored suit jacket underneath it. Once the jacket was Secure on her he started coming up with a plan

Okay, he has a getaway car, but The problem was getting there. If he exited the Apartment with her in tow they would know immediately. Then he'll be forced to fight an Urban battle which he could handle if he was by himself. But the problem was he wasn't, he had a civilian that he needed to protect. That left going through the nightclub. Looking at the car again he noticed that a side entrance was stationed right by it. It was at that moment a plan started forming in his mind. But first, he needed to make sure Captain Celebrity was not a factor.

So calling Yana Yaoyorozu, he asked her if she could get Captain Celebrity out of the way for him. He had to explain the situation first, of course. But once he did, She said that she would be sending some reinforcements his way. She knew a couple of trustworthy Heroes, so she made sure he promised that he would keep his phone on him. They'd use the Tracking device in it so the reinforcements could head straight to them. She knew that he was already planning his Escape which was why the tracking device was needed.

After a couple of minutes, Yana messaged him back saying that Captain Celebrity should be out of the way. Izuku did not know what excuse she used to get him out of the way. Especially one that made the man fly so fast that it shattered the window of a nearby building. But in the end, Izuku didn't really care. The guy was out of the way and it was time for him to move. So moving the bookcase out of the way he opened the hidden door slightly. Checking if anyone was behind it he quickly realized that there wasn't. So he opened it fully and checked the hallway.

Realizing the coast was clear he signaled Ochaco to begin following him. Following the hallway with his gun raised he quickly came across a set of guards guarding a metal door. If Izuku was right that was the security room and he needed to get in there. Looking over what the guards had he quickly noticed that they were carrying some Agram 2000 W Suppressor. Those guns were designed to be hit in ditch guns. They were only really handed out to security or when they had to do a hit. There were automatics and even though they had suppressors on them, They still had the risk of drawing attention to him. Not wanting to backtrack Izuku decided to take the two guards out and clear the room that they were Guarding as quickly as possible, and hopefully not sounding the alarm.

Drawing both his Glock and Sig he leveled the two guns at the two men guarding the door, who both were unaware of his presence. Izuku could not tell if the two were wearing bulletproof vests underneath their black leather jackets, So he aimed for the head. Pulling the trigger on both his guns the bullets sailed Through the air and hit both of the men right between their eyes. Both of the men then fell to the ground unconscious. Moving quickly just in case anyone inside the security room heard anything. He busted open the door and Raised both his guns. It seems that the two guys in the security room did hear something and we're already pulling out their guns. But before they could aim at him Izuku pulled the trigger firing Two Shots from each of his guns, and the two men in the security chairs slumped in them unconscious.

Quickly he checked the unconscious guards and once he was positive they were unconscious he waved over Ochaco who helped him pull the two men in the hallway into the security room. Once they were in Izuku closed the door and started checking their pockets. The men didn't really have much on them, But the security room seemed to double as an Armory and oh boy they had guns. So as Izuku checked over the cameras to see what he was dealing with he decided to ready some extra guns.

He didn't want to take anything too heavy since they would only slow him down. So Izuku took a pumped-action shotgun along with an ammo belt that he strapped over his chest. He also grabbed an AK-47 with 4 extra mags. The reason why he grabbed these two guns out of the large assortment of weaponry was for two reasons. The AK was an extremely reliable gun as well as durable and as for the shotgun it was an easy choice since it had anti-meta rounds. These little suckers were made during the dawn of quirks in response to people with durability quirks. Each round had a slug made of Tungsten as well as a specially designed charge. In short, these fuckers packed a big punch and could punch a hole through solid concrete.

Looking over what he had and at the assortment of weapons again, he noticed that there was a Glock among the weapons. Looking over to the girl he pondered on the idea of handing her a weapon.

"Ah, Ochaco was it?" Izuku asked, getting the girl's attention and seeing her nod her head he continued.

"Do you have any experience with firearms?" Izuku asked, Izuku did not like the idea of Handing a civilian a gun. But the alternative was to have her unprotected against a heavily armed Russian mob who outnumbered them.

"Ah, some, my mom takes me to the range once in a while, so I know the basics." Ochaco said a bit nervous.

she would not lie, the prospect of using a gun was a little terrifying. But if it meant protecting herself she would use it. Picking up the Glock Izuku pulled out his remaining stun mag for his Glock and after unloading the Glock, he loaded the stun mag right into it. Handing it over to Ochaco he started to explain.

"I just loaded my last stun mag into this Glock. This is non-lethal ammunition, but please note that it usually takes one or two of these bullets to take a man out so be careful. You should also know that I'm most likely going to have to kill some of these guys. I'm going to try my best to avoid that as much as possible. But you need to know it's a possibility so prepare yourself for it." Izuku said handing her the Glock.

Okay, Ochaco was not going to lie about the fact that she was a bit scared. Especially, when the boy in front of her who looked to be her age was prepared to kill. But she was not going to lie to herself and say it wasn't necessary. She had lived on the bad side of society all her life and because of that, she had seen the worst of it. She was no fool, she knew that Heroes kill villains practically all the time. Just look at endeavor his kill count is high enough to fill his own Cemetery.

So taking the Glock she went over the lessons that she learned from her mother in her head and prepared herself. Izuku seeing her prepared, got up and went over to one of the men and pulled out the phone out of the Man's Pocket. Pulling a little device out of his sleeve he plugged it into the phone. The device within seconds unlocked it and Izuku checked the phone number that was associated with the phone. After typing it into his own Izuku pulled up a tiny roll of duct tape that he stashed in his coat and proceeded to duct tape the phone to the microphone that was connected to the speaker system. Starting up a video call Izuku angled the phone so the phone could give him a view of the monitors. Grabbing a radio off of the men he hooked it onto his ammo belt and walked out of the security room.

Izuku's plan was simple he was going to use the PA system to negotiate with the Russian mob and hopefully use the fear that they have for him to let him pass. But if they refuse to negotiate and decide to attack right off the bat. They will head straight for the security room and Izuku will use that as a distraction to escape. So once they were out of the security room and in position on the other side of the facility where their Escape vehicle was. He started speaking through the phone which in return spoke through the PA system

"Russian mob that I do not know the name of. This is Baba Yaga, and I'm here to give you a choice. You are going to let me pass unhindered or I will fulfill the promise that I gave One of your Thugs. Especially when I had warned your mob against attacking a certain restaurant and its staff." Izuku said as he spoke in fluid Russian. He could tell from the active video call (that gave him the display of the monitors in the security room) that everybody in the club Froze up at his words. He could also tell somebody who looked to be the leader to begin to Rally his men. From the determined look on the leader's face, he could tell that he wasn't going to take the easy way out. But hopefully, he could try a little harder.

"I can see you rallying your men and I can see that you want to fight, but I am only here to get the employee who delivers food from the very restaurant that is under my protection. Hell, I wouldn't even need to do that if your boys decided to pay instead of trying to shoot him in the face. Now you have one chance to save your entire organization. Let me pass or I will make a path for myself by carving through your men. Hell, I probably won't even stop there I might see your organization as too dangerous to be kept around and tear it down all to the roots. I might even stop by Russia and continue my crusade. Now do you want the fall of your organization as a whole to be on your conscience or would you let me pass?" Izuku said in a dead serious tone.

Izuku was bluffing of course he had no intention of tearing down the whole organization even if he didn't cooperate. It would have caused him way too much trouble and it wasn't why he was here in Japan in the first place. All he wanted to do was get this girl out and back to her family safe and sound. The leader froze At his words for a second and thought it over. But in the end, he sent a large Force towards the security room. With a heavy sigh, Izuku Ready the AK in his hands before moving with the girl quickly who Followed behind him.

The two guards down the hallway That were guarding the door, we're unaware of Izuku's approach. Izuku aimed low for their kneecaps in the hopes of taking them out of the fight quickly and hopefully without killing them. As he pulled the trigger on the AK sending multiple shots flying The bullets tore through the armed goon's kneecaps just as Izuku had planned. Izuku did not wait for them to get up though as he pulled out his pistol and shot each of the men twice with neural disruptors rounds, Knocking them out. He could only expend one round for these guys since he did not know how many guys he would have to deal with. It was why he opened up with the AK and took out their Kneecaps. So even if they did get up they wouldn't be in any shape to fight. Rushing towards the doorway he kicked it open.

Inside the hallway leading towards the exit there were four men who were Caught off guard by his quick entrance. Izuku Rushed forward, shooting two rounds into one of the men's chests before quickly pulling out his secondary sidearm and shooting another. The two men Crumpled onto the ground unconscious as the two remaining men returned fire. Izuku raised his arm to cover his face and allowed his bulletproof jacket to absorb the incoming fire as he bulldozed through one of the men. He then fired Point Blank Range into the man's chest, then he used the unconscious man's body as a human shield against the other man's incoming fire. Bullets tour through the man as his comrade had Little care for his compatriot's safety. Izuku does not mind this though, as he takes the opportunity to return fire and shoots the man two times in the chest knocking him out.

The second that the man hit the ground Izuku kicked open the door to the exit. And made a b-line to the car with the girl in tow. 40 goons poured out of the exit that they just left as they started opening fire with various weapons including AK-47s. Izuku through the girl the keys to the car as he laid down covering fire with his pistols. He was able to score a couple of good hits as several of the men collapsed to the ground unconscious. Eventually, though His ammo for his two pistols ran dry as he entered the car that the girl had started up. The girl did not hesitate to floor the gas the second that Izuku was in the car. This caused the car to bust through the chain link fence in front of it and straight onto the highway as they sped off. The mob not wanting them to get away got into various trucks and cars and chased after them.

Izuku had to admit the girl was extremely good at driving as she sped past various cars and made sharp turns that only an experienced driver could do. But unfortunately and fortunately Izuku was right about the car being armored. Because of that, the car was a lot slower allowing the three pickup trucks that had mounted PKS on the back of them to catch up to them. The Gunners on the trucks did not hesitate and opened fire with the PKS. The girl attempted Evasive maneuvers to dodge the incoming hail of bullets. Unfortunately, the Maneuvers that she attempted did very little to shake off their pursuers. Izuku told the girl to keep the car steady as he leaned out of the car with the AK in his hands and started opening fire. He was able to score several hits on the trucks and was able to kill one of the drivers causing the truck it was driving to crash into another truck. This only left one of the trucks pursuing them. But before Izuku could shoot the other one he was pulled back in by the girl before she had to make a heavy turn To avoid another truck that came out of nowhere. Unfortunately, when she dodged the incoming truck she was forced to crash into the side of an abandoned warehouse.

Izuku was able to brace himself in time to avoid injury but the girl was not so lucky. The girl was conscious but blood had started leaking from her head. Wasting no time Izuku got out of the car, then pulled the girl out and put her in a fireman's carry as he quickly moved into the warehouse. He could already hear the men that were pursuing them getting out of their cars. So he knew that he had very little time to find cover. Luckily he was able to find a storage room in the back so he could place down the girl. Looking over her wounds he determined quickly that they weren't life-threatening. The girl obviously had a concussion though and was Drifting in and out of consciousness. Izuku knew that he had no choice but to stand his ground and fight. He knew that Yana was sending reinforcements but he did not know how long they would take for them to get here. Exiting the small storage room that he left the girl in, he looked over what he was dealing with in the warehouse. Even though the warehouse seemed abandoned it was obvious that it was being used as an illegal storage area Since there were various crates of Illegal Goods.

None of the Russian mob had entered yet and izuku could guess that they were surrounding the building. They must want to make sure he couldn't escape before entering to finish the job. That was good because it gave him time to come up with a plan. Izuku looked over the weapons that he had. He still had the AK and the shotgun, But his two side arms were damaged in the crash. Lamenting at The loss of his two sidearms, he loaded up the other two guns, and then started to look at some of the crates. The wooden crates were large and were stacked High, providing a lot of cover for Izuku. Getting on top of one of the crates he ducked behind another that was on top of it and ready himself. The crate he ducked behind wasn't made of wood but made of metal so he hoped that it would provide him a decent amount of cover. His perch also provides a perfect view of the only two entrances to the warehouse.

Izuku readyed himself and waited, but he did not need to wait long since a minute later men burst into the warehouse. Izuku did not waste any time and open-fired. The goons weren't wearing any body armor so his AK was able to quickly dispatch them. But what they didn't make up in armor they made up in numbers. Because even after taking several of the goons out in the first couple of seconds of them entering the warehouse more poured in. And when Izuku was forced to reload the goons were able to get a decent Foothold behind cover. Izuku moved from his perch, jumped down To ground level to a nearby crate, and ducked behind it. He then began opening fire again and taking out several more goons before finally running dry with his AK. Then the wall to the warehouse door burst open as a large muscular man with metallic skin wielding a PK rushed towards him. Izuku Dove behind cover as he pulled out the shotgun with the Anti Meta around. The man not worrying about cover started unloading the PK in his hands at the crate where Izuku was hiding behind. Izuku Was able to fall back and get behind another crate when another man burst through a wall. But this time he was a man with an ape mutation wielding another PK. Izuku was lucky and was able to get behind cover as the two men assaulted his position with a volley of rounds from their PKS.

As Izuku was falling back into the Maze of crates, the two PK wielding bruisers chased after him. Losing sight of Izuku they eventually split up. Looping around to get behind the man with metal skin, he readyed his shotgun. But before he could pull the trigger he was bashed to the side And through a couple of crates by the Ape man. The ape Bruiser approached Izuku with his PK ready, but before the man could empty his PK point blank into Izuku's face, Izuku grabbed the barrel handle and detached the barrel before whacking the man in the groin With Said barrel. As the tall ape-like man fell to one knee Izuku placed the shotgun right against his chin before pulling the trigger. The round completely blew off the man's head, but as the body slumped back, Two more men came around the crate that he was taking cover behind. So Izuku dropped the shotgun and used the barrel that he had snagged as an improvised weapon. Izuku used the barrel to smash into one of the man's kneecaps causing him to collapse to the ground. Before the other man could pull the trigger on his rifle Izuku redirected the barrel at his friend, so when he pulled the trigger his friend was Littered with bullets instead of him. Izuku then used the PK barrel to crack open the man's skull, before grabbing his AK, and using it to fire on another wave of goons who were trying to huddle around the metallic-skinned man with the PK. Izuku was an excellent shot though and was able to get the men who were trying to huddle around their improvised cover as they tried to move up and advance on his position.

Unfortunately, the AK seemed not to have the stopping power to punch through the man's metallic Skin, and as such Izuku was forced to fall back so he could grab his shotgun. The metallic Skin Man saw this and rushed him. All in one fluid motion, Izuku dove towards the shotgun, pumped it, aimed it, and pulled the trigger. The round staggered the man and it was able to Dent his skin but it wasn't able to penetrate. Izuku took this opportunity to disarm the man from his PK by detaching the barrel. He then whacked the scorching hot Barrel against the man's face, staggering the man again. Izuku then pumped the barrel of the shotgun once more, aiming for the man's kneecap. Izuku doubted that the man was fully made of metal. And was proven right when the man's kneecap bent backwards as it snapped back from the shot impacting it. If the man screams and how the leg bent at an odd angle was anything to go by he had shattered the man's kneecap. Izuku did not stop though as he pumped the shotgun again and took out the other man's kneecap which produced similar results. Izuku then pumped the shotgun one more time before aiming at the man's head at Point Blank Range and pulling the trigger. The bullet didn't penetrate his hide, But the man did fall back unconscious from the blow.

Izuku looked around the warehouse and was quite relieved to see that there were no more Goons. But Izuku did not let down his guard though as he reloaded the shotgun. But the second that he stopped loading the shotgun the ceiling to the roof caved in as somebody landed a few meters away from him. Izuku was glad that he did not pull the trigger on his shotgun. Especially since he recognized the woman in front of him. The woman looked around as she let out an impressed whistle Before speaking.

"Shit, I missed the party, didn't I!"
