Chapter 6: First Contact
Airachnid was prepping some tea since Izuku had insisted. According to the research on the principal, Nezu was fond of the stuff and probably would be more relaxed in their presence with it on hand. The problem was that she did not know how to make tea, so instead of fumbling around in making a terrible pot of tea, She would simply provide the ingredients for the principal to make his own. Izuku had found some clothes that she could wear from a thrift store that was abandoned in the south Musutafu ruins. They did not want To make the principal or their guests uncomfortable due to her not wearing any clothes, even though her outer plating properly protected and covered her reproductive parts. So even though they were uncomfortable and if she wasn't careful could tear, she wore them.

Bulkhead and Bumblebee also had put together a small table and found some chairs for their guests. The two were now patrolling the area to make sure that they weren't blindsided. And Optimus was in his vehicle mode as a semi-truck that was parked in the warehouse. The reason why Airachnid was the front girl in this operation was due to her experience in interrogation. She could spot a liar and a deceiver a mile away and her sharp mind was great for negotiations. She was pouring a glass of Energon out of the canteen that Izuku found for her, when the door to the warehouse opened. Stepping inside was a Shaggy looking man with a scarf and on his shoulder was the principal of UA Nezu. It was quite obvious that the two were shocked about her appearance. But they could not stay in shock too long as Airachnid had decided to speak up.
"Thank you for meeting me, Principal Nezu. I am Airachnid it is a pleasure to meet you. I do not drink tea due to my incapability of consuming biomass but I have prepared the ingredients for it if you want some." Airachnid said as she sat down next to the table Which was Tiny compared to her. The size comparison was slightly comical, But Nezu could see it was obviously meant for them and not for her.
"Your consideration is appreciated, thank you." Nezu said as he hopped down off of Eraserhead's shoulder and onto the table so he could make himself some tea. Like a professional, he made himself a quick pot and poured it for himself before sitting down on the table.
"Now, let's get started why don't we? As you already know I am Nezu and this is Shota Aizawa." Nezu says as he takes a sip of tea.
"Ah, The Eraserhead, My young charge has spoken of you. But aren't your friends going to be joining us as well?" Airachnid said with a smirk as she sipped her own drink.
"How." Eraserhead said shocked.
"How did I spot your friends or how does my charge know about your underground persona?" Airachnid said with a smirk.
"Both." Nezu said as he sipped his tea like nothing was wrong with the world.
"Well, I have thermal vision so spotting the other two is quite easy. As for your second, my young charge is quite a fan of you. So why don't you call them over it's quite rude to have them skulking around in the shadows?" Airachnid said Still smirking. Nezu nodded his head as he signal for the other two to come over. One of them was a woman wearing a dominatrix outfit with long purple hair and red sunglasses. The other one was a plain-looking man wearing a tan trench coat and hat.
"Ah, Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi, quirk lie detector, and Nemuri Kayama pro Hero Midnight, Quirk Somnambulist. It is a pleasure to meet you both." Airachnid said with a smirk.
"And how did you know that." Eraserhead said now on guard.
"I thought I explained in the email that My charge has a lot of information on Heroes. In truth, he's a quirk enthusiast, he likes analyzing them. You probably don't remember him detective but according to him, you met him a month ago. You're the one who gave him the news of his mother's death after a villain attack." Airachnid said with a frown.
What the group didn't know was that Izuku was on the coms and monitoring the situation. It was how she was able to get the information on the two newcomers as well as Eraserhead. But the group did not need to know that.
"The only villain attack that I could remember That had deaths was a month ago, and an attack on the Kaioshi shopping mall. But there were a lot of people killed in that attack and I admit I did visit a lot of families. Do you mind giving me any details of who exactly it was?" Detective Naomasa Ask as he thought over that particular Incident.
"Not until we are sure that your Quirk works on me. Because let's be honest what I'm about to tell you will be 100 times easier if you could tell if I was lying. Okay, I am now going to tell 2 lies and 2 truths, you're going to tell me which one is a lie and which one is the truth. Sounds fair?" Airachnid said And when she got a nod from the detective she continued.
"My family is as big as me, my family is bigger than me, My parents hate me, my parents love me. "Airachnid said, Looking at the detective intensely.
"The first and last ones are lies. The second and third ones are truths." Detective Naomasa Said Narrowing his eyes at her. Airachnid gave him a nod of approval before speaking up.
"Before I get into any details I would like to talk to you about education. Are your facilities as well as your school prepared for having my charge as well as a daughter of a friend of mine who are both around 11 feet tall?" Airachnid asked with a Calm smile present on her face as she heard the sputtering from izuku and Arcee who were on the opposite end. She had already cleared this idea with Optimus as well as Ratchet so it wasn't like she was going behind anyone's back.
"Wait you're seriously here just to talk about your son and apparently a friend of a daughter." Midnight said shocked.
"I thought I made that clear in my email to Nezu, am I missing something here?" Arachnid Asked confused.
"I will admit, due to the location that you wanted to meet at and you knowing My secure email address. I may have had concerns that you were potentially a villain. But to your questions yes my school is fully capable of having such students. In fact, our school is specially designed for much larger students. Perhaps I could arrange a tour for later."
"They would probably love that. But I do not have transportation to take us into the city. And as you can tell by my size it will be quite hazardous for us three to walk into it." Airachnid said.
"My friend Mount Lady had recently opened private transportation that is cheap and affordable for larger people. There's also a youth group that she co-runs. I could give you her number if you want." Midnight said writing a number on a piece of paper before handing it to her. With a thankful nod, she slipped it into one of her pockets. Now she knew why humans had designed such things. Perhaps Ratchet could make some type of belt for her.
"Do you mind telling us now what you have been hiding?" Eraserhead said annoyed.
"Ah, Fine sorry for me trying to be responsible and making sure the school was capable. But fine you want to get into the second reason I called you here, very well." Airachnid said visibly annoyed.
"Miss Airachnid I apologize for my employee's rudeness. And even though it could have been phrased better I think it would be best if we move on to that topic. I'm completely willing to continue this topic later on." Nezu said equally annoyed at his subordinate. But he did have a point.
"*Sigh* fine but I need to know if everybody here is trustworthy. The information I'm about to share must be kept confidential at all costs. I will not put my charge and my family's safety in danger. I want your word from everyone here that you keep this a secret no matter who asks. I don't care if it's your government or the number one hero, Am I clear?" Airachnid said Steel evident in her tone.
"You have my word Miss Airachnid and I will ensure that everyone present will not speak a word about this." Nezu said with equal Steel in his tone.
She Looked over them with an intense analytic glare looking for any hint of deceit of any kind. Eventually, she nodded in satisfaction before tapping her ear and speaking.
"Optimus you're clear to show yourself... Yes, I'm sure that Nezu will keep his word, well as long as we don't attack." Arachnid said over the coms which confused the group. What was even more confusing was that a red semi-truck that was parked in the back came to life and drove up to them before stopping and transforming into a large humanoid robot.
"Greetings, I am Optimus Prime, and the leader of the Autobots." Optimus said causing everybody to stand up in shock.
"Autobots? I knew it, your villains." Eraserhead said taking a Battle Stance as he grabbed his capture scarf.
"We are not villains And we did not break any of your laws either. we're also not human. Isn't that right Mr. Lie Detector?" Airachnid said annoyed, Before she then looked at the detective Who everybody also looked at. The detective didn't say a word but nodded his head in the affirmative.
"What do you mean you're not human." Midnight asked shocked.
"Yes we're not human, We are Cybernetic organisms who hail from the planet Cybertron." Airachnid said and when the detective give a nod of confirmation Nezu spoke up.
"Why come to me?" Nezu asked seriously
"My young charge who I'll keep his name out of until we come to an arrangement. Suggested you since you out of all creatures on this planet could understand that we wish not to be experimented on. Our ship is too badly damaged for us to leave this planet And because of that, We require resources. There are also other factors but again we will not be bringing that up until we can reach an agreement." Airachnid said
"Nezu you can't be seriously thinking of helping these things. They could be a Vanguard of an invading Force." Eraserhead said eyes narrowing at the two giant robots.
"We are not a Vanguard of an invading force of any kind. We originally came to this planet because our planet was dying due to the ravages of a civil war. When we set course to your planet it was not Inhabited yet. It was only when we woke up from stasis That we realized that it was, you can imagine our surprise seeing it inhabited. We have no intention of conquering your people or enslaving them. The Autobots Would rather die than remove a person's choice to choose. We believe in the sanctity of free will and that of life. These Concepts are sacred to us." Optimus said. But seeing the unconvinced look on Eraserhead's face Airachnid spoke up with visible annoyance
"Please stop with the aliens invading crap, so we can get down to some proper negotiations." Airachnid said annoyed At the stair that Eraserhead was giving them.
Optimus put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down a bit. And when the detective's shoulders slumped in relief everybody else Visibly relaxed as well, all besides Eraserhead who was still on guard. Seeing this Nezu gave him a look that practically demanded him to stand down which he did with reluctance.
"So what do you want from us exactly." Nezu asks now curious. As he sits back down on the table and begins to pour himself another cup of tea.
"We need resources so we may find Energon. Which is a deposit found on your planet. We have the equipment to scan for it but they are damaged and we do not have the parts to repair them. As such we need resources as well as a possible more secure area than where we are staying." Optimus said kneeling down right next to Airachnid.
"We also need schooling for my charge as well as one of our youngest," Airachnid said causing Midnight to gape at them in shock. Optimus gives a nod in agreement.
"Are you serious? I thought it was a cover at this point. You know to get our guard down so you can get information before the negotiations?" Midnight said still shocked.
"Miss Kayama if there's one thing You need to know about me is that I do not lie. Yes, I will withhold information and straight up tell you I will not tell you anything. But I will not lie. So when I tell you that we are quite serious about the children under our care safety and well-being. You should believe that I mean it." Optimus said with steel in his tone. She looked over to the detective who gave her a nod of confirmation that what he was saying was true. This caused her to let out a sigh of exasperation.
"And what can you offer us?" Nezu asked eyes narrowing.
"Some of our knowledge and expertise for starters And our protection." Airachnid said as the group narrowed her eyes at them in suspicion.
"Do not get us wrong, we plan on protecting this world with Or without your help. It is our duty after all And we have no plans to abandon that Duty." Optimus said seriously but sincerely.
"And what would you be protecting us from exactly?" Nezu asked as he sipped his tea. Optimus and Airachnid looked at each other as if silently conversing.
"Remember when we said our planet was Ravage due to a Civil War?" Airachnid asked and when they nodded Optimus spoke up.
"We were one side of that Civil War, our fight was against a group called the Decepticons. Their leader Megatron is deceitful and hungers for nothing but Power. He will not hesitate in taking over your planet and wiping out its entire inhabitants." Optimus said seriously but with a grim tone. Everybody's eyes widened at that.
"And why would This group come here?" Midnight asked worried.
"Your planet has an extremely high deposit of Energon, the lifeblood of our species. That reason is enough for Megatron." Optimus said seriously.
"I will need to think this over." Nezu said thoughtfully.
"That is fine I'll give you a means of contacting us later. But now I think we should return to the topic of schooling. since we were rudely derailed on said topic." Airachnid said Giving an annoyed look at Eraserhead.
She also got a grown from izuku over the comms, which caused her to smile inwardly. She will not miss this opportunity to allow Izuku to finish his education. She knew Ratchet was more than capable of doing such a thing. But she knew this would be a good thing for him as well as Arcee. Luckily Nezu is more than happy to discuss the topic And she made sure that she covered every angle possible so if Izuku did go to this school he would have a comfortable learning experience there. Their conversation went on for another hour before they gave Nezu a com frequency so they could schedule their next meeting. As they left Nezu's group made their way straight to UA so they could discuss this in private.
UA Nezu Office
After Nezu activated every security measure and anti-surveillance measure that he could in his office he sat down at his desk with a cup of tea. The rest of the group sat down in their chairs. The group remained silent all the way to UA due to Nezu's instructions. The room remained silent until it was broken by the voice of Midnight.
"For colossal robots, the two seemed very nice. Especially the woman, she seemed to care a lot for the kid that she has under her care." Midnight said taking off her glasses and setting them down on the table right next to her as she massaged her eyebrows.
"Yes, indeed she does, I definitely got the Motherly vibe from her." Detective Tsukauchi said before looking at Nezu and continuing.
"Except for the test that Proved my quirk worked on them, they had not lied in that meeting a Especially that Optimus Prime fellow. Especially when he said that he is not a liar and will not lie." Detective Tsukauchi said causing Nezu to nod his head at that information.
"Yes, I have gotten the impression that he is an honorable man, and that honor means everything to him. As such lying is beneath him." Nezu said before hearing Eraserhead scoff in annoyance
"Are we forgetting the fact that they have a human child under their care? One who's probably being experimented on by these Machines." Eraserhead said annoyed.
"Shota, I doubt that woman would allow anything to harm that boy, as well as that Optimus Fellow. I can tell he is way too honorable to even allow that. So stop with the paranoia already." Midnight said with a huff.
"It's not paranoia if they're truly out to get you. Plus paranoia is what keeps you alive." Eraserhead said annoyed.
"Enough, Aizawa I do appreciate your... Insight on this matter. But I believe Kayama is right. The woman seems to be quite attached to the boy as well as their youngest. Optimus Prime is also honor-bound to uphold the sanctity of life. As such I do not think he would be capable or condone such things on an innocent child. There's also the fact that they came to me and not some corrupt government official that they could possibly manipulate. No, they came to me because the boy knew that I would be the last being on this planet that allowed them to be experimented on or used for nefarious reasons. He also knows that I'm too smart to be deceived." Nezu said sipping his tea.
"If that was the case and they truly have this boy's best interest in mind. Which, I highly doubt is the case. Why keep his name and identity from us?" Eraserhead said Still annoyed.
"Just in case we deny their offer of course. As well as to protect him from people who might try to use him. They understand the information that he has is dangerous. And even though he trusts me, The two are too responsible to allow such information to leak." Nezu said seriously.
"Yeah, I have to agree with Nezu on this. Trust is earned not given, and we should not expect them to play every card they have, When we have not earned their trust yet." Midnight said with a nod of her head.
"And what, you're just going to invite him to stay on campus. Build a giant house where they can walk around freely in and give their kids an education? Please don't be absurd." Eraserhead said sarcastically.
"Oh but my dear Aizawa, that is exactly what I'm going to do." Nezu said with a cackle.
